Gordon Chang: Communist China Has Committed ‘Mass Murder’ of Americans

Since right now, we have about 580,000 Americans who've succumbed to COVID-19.
We don't know for sure the origin of this disease, although it does look like it came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
But we do know that Xi Jinping, the Chinese ruler, took steps that he knew or had to know would spread this pathogen beyond China's borders.
And that means that these Americans have been killed.
This is murder.
This is mass murder.
I mean, what does it take to get us to start to defend ourselves?
Well, okay, so let's dig into this question of, you know, mass murder.
That's, of course, a big, big statement.
We do know that, based on the State Department's findings and, frankly, numerous governments now, that the Chinese Communist Party is perpetrating genocide.
But you're talking about a different kind of mass murder here.
Explain it.
Well, if China intentionally spread this disease beyond its borders, that would be murder.
And we know that because of not only the deaths in America, but worldwide, about 3.2 million, that's mass murder.
So we've got to break this down.
This might take a little bit of time, but let's go through it if I can.
So, for instance, we know that Chinese leaders knew that this disease was highly transmissible human to human, but they admitted that only on January 20 of last year.
But doctors in Wuhan knew, no later than the second week of December of 2019, that they were dealing with a highly contagious disease.
And a Harvard Medical School study suggests that doctors in Wuhan knew this in August of that year.
Now, if Chinese leaders had said nothing for those five weeks or five months, that would have been grossly irresponsible because they have a legal obligation to say something.
But we know that they tried to convince the international community it was not transmissible.
And so really what they were doing is they were convincing people around the world, don't worry about this.
But at the same time, Xi Jinping was pressuring countries not to impose travel restrictions and quarantines on arrivals from China while he was locking down his own country.
By locking down his own country, he thought that he was stopping the spread of the disease, which means that by forcing other countries to take Chinese passengers, he had to know that he was spreading the disease.
And in fact, The method of transmission was people from China.
So you put those two things together, and there are more, but you put those two things together and it shows that this was an intent to spread the disease beyond China's borders.
That is mass murder.
And we know that this is the first time in history that one nation has attacked all the others.
So, this is something, and we haven't been able to confront this, because I think part of it is, people don't want to talk about this, but also, we in democracies, we have a hard time dealing with the concept of evil, and we can't actually say this, and I think that we have to start to think about, really, the consequences of what China did.
Well, to some extent, we can't even say that the virus originated in China, right?
It doesn't matter where the virus originated.
It was in China at one point, and we know what China did to spread it.
That's the reason why I believe that this was a crime against humanity, against all of humanity.
Now, of course, I think the disease did start in China, and that's a whole other conversation.
Because it did look like it came from a lab.
But at this point, we can't say that.
We can't prove it.
But we can prove the other stuff.
And that's all we need to prove.
So you've just watched a clip from an American Thought Leader's interview, and as you probably know, I pour my heart and soul into these.
YouTube has been censoring some entirely mainstream videos lately, including things like Florida Governor DeSantis' coronavirus roundtable.
We've even had some of our own videos removed from YouTube for no clear reason whatsoever.
And frankly, I don't find this to be appropriate.
I don't find this to be acceptable.
I don't want to be sitting around thinking what YouTube may or may not feel like they want to censor.
And beyond that even, YouTube has demonetized us for the past two months.
Ostensibly, we're working to resolve the issue, but our hopes are kind of fading when it comes to this.
So what is our response to this?
Well, we've started our own platform, Epoch TV. Now, Epoch TV is the premium Epoch Times video platform.
It's got American Thought Leaders, but it also has The Larry Elder Show and Crossroads with Joshua Phillip and a number of other programs.
So you can get Epoch TV for this low introductory rate of $4.99 a month.
And in so doing, you're actually supporting the Epoch Times as an organization.
