Disclosing U.S. Media's Economic Ties with the CCP
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
In May, The Federalist, a conservative online magazine, published an investigative report on the business ties of mainstream media outlets to the CCP, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, and Bloomberg.
Shares of The New York Times were purchased in 2009 by Carlos Slim, a Mexican billionaire who has frequent business contacts with Chinese companies.
He bought 15.9 million Class A shares from the New York Times' parent company, making him the paper's largest shareholder.
Slim's company, America Mobile, is working with the Chinese telecom company Huawei and recommended a 5G pilot project to the Colombian government this year.
Slim may not attend editorial meetings at the New York Times, the report said, but all of the paper's senior staff definitely know who's paying them.
We have to wonder if the presidents or managers of these traditional American media, bought and infiltrated by the CCP, have already been in cahoots with it before this.
This is very suspicious.
In 2013, the Washington Post was acquired by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, who has close business ties to China, where nearly all of Amazon's most popular products are made.
Over the years, Bezos' ties to the CCP have surfaced in ads in the Washington Post.
China Watch, an advertising supplement that came with Washington Post subscriptions, was provided by the CCP's newspaper China Daily.
The Washington Post openly accepted advertising fees from the CCP and distributed its propaganda.
CNN, MSNBC, NBC News, Bloomberg and ABC also have deep economic ties to the CCP, according to the investigation.
In November 2010, NBC signed an agreement with Xinhua News Agency, the CCP's media, to establish cooperation in international broadcast news business.
By 2018, a Beijing-based investment group called CMC Capital Partners had acquired ownership of NBCUniversal's Oriental DreamWorks.
I myself have been speaking everywhere for more than 20 years, and most Chinese publications I've seen, with the exception of a few media like the Epoch Times and New Tang Dynasty, are false or backwards.
You say the CCP is not good, it says the CCP is good.
They falsify the whole theme and content of a conference.
The main figure, the host, everything.
Not once or twice.
This has happened for almost 20 years now.
The goal of the CCP is to bring down the U.S. with a soft knife.
Because if the U.S. collapses, the CCP will then become the world leader.
If even a powerful country like the United States is overthrown by the CCP, which other country in the world can confront it?
Then come the world's woes.
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his company Bloomberg LP have also invested heavily in China.
Over the years, Bloomberg LP has backed 364 Chinese companies and led about $150 billion into their bond offerings.
Commentator Xin Tianxing said that the CCP has seduced and deceived many Western media by offering huge profits, making them help with its propaganda.
In this year's election, they tried to subvert America's free-value system in a coup involving election fraud.
