	And that discipline is applied consistently.
	Many private sector employees operate under a misunderstood notion of free speech.
	So it's important for employers to educate employees, said Katrina Grider, an attorney for something.
	Companies can hold employees accountable for their social media conduct.
	She said, but as a matter of fairness, employees need to be educated about their responsibilities and the consequences of their social media conduct and activities.
	She said the following are examples of the types of posts that may warrant disciplinary action.
	Hate speech, or any kind regarding any protected class, speech that is severe enough to constitute a hostile work environment, threats to employee health and safety, speech that damages the company's clients, customers, or community at large.
	And so this idea of hate speech, like in the world where we're like trying to work to afford things, you're just trying to work to pay for gas because it's $6 a gallon.
	They're also creating the world while you're barely surviving.
	We can take away your living if you just say something truthful about some people that we've deemed to be protected.
	Meanwhile, they don't protect our borders.
	They kill our children, don't protect our children.
	They don't protect our students in school.
