Welcome back to the Daily Dose with your favorite gay black woman, me, Elijah Schaefer.
Of course, we are talking about the Democrats' second favorite country today, Iran.
Of course, only preceded by none other than their poster child, Mexico.
We're talking about some insane things.
Obviously, unless you've been living under a rock and your name's Patrick Starr, then you probably know that things are not looking good in Iran.
And they really haven't ever looked good since the revolutions, of course, in the 1970s.
But overall, what we're talking about is something insane.
So our first story today comes out of the Blaze.
And I really want to promote the Blaze because I think, honestly, the Blaze News Department has done a really good job at covering these recent events.
But basically, over this weekend, there was a powerful video that shows Iranian protesters flood the streets of Tehran over a downed jet, yelling death to the dictator.
So basically, the narrative today is that Donald Trump does everything wrong.
There's nothing that he can do right.
Whether it's his bleached blonde hair, his fake tan, the raising of his children, whether it's what he eats or what he serves people.
I mean, Donald Trump is just somebody, according to the people on the left, who can do no right.
And unfortunately for them, what you're finding out is there is this disinformation campaign to try to blame Donald Trump for the downing of a Ukrainian jet, which the Iranian forces shot down.
We're going to get into that.
So basically, over this weekend, enraged protesters flooded the streets of Tehran on Saturday and demanded that Ayatollah Khaymeni.
I don't know, how do you say that guy's name?
Khaymeni?
It doesn't really matter.
But AKA step down as a supreme leader of Iran after the Iranian government admitted its armed forces shoot down a Ukrainian passenger jet, killing all 176 people on board.
Video posted to social media showed protesters shout death to liars, death to the Islamic Republic.
Salemeni was a murderer.
His leader is also a murderer, among other chants.
And according to Reuters, the protesters also chanted death to the dictator, a direct reference to the Ayatollah.
The protesters reportedly began as vigils for the victims of flight PS752, but quickly descended into anti-government demonstrations.
So basically what's happening here is there's a narrative by Democrats which are trying to blame Donald Trump for the downing of this Ukrainian jet.
Of course, because if you don't realize already, Donald Trump, of course, ordered the assassination of the revered general of the Islamic Republic, which, by the way, is a dictatorship, which is really ridiculous that the Democrats think that the people of Iran really revered this guy.
You know, they point to videos of people mourning in the streets over his death.
It's like, dude, if you lived in a country where a dictator was in power and you wanted to have peace in your home, you would probably just say that you were mourning too.
You've never seen forced celebrations in places like North Korea, in places like Cambodia, in Vietnam.
There's a lot of this fake mourning for these leaders simply because they don't want to be seen as detractors, because they could be killed or they can be abducted.
And you have to realize that the Democrats siding with a dictator, siding with a deadly and anti-American general just shows really how twisted they become.
But it gets a little bit interesting.
So basically, Donald Trump responded to the protesters this weekend with a tweet.
And this article is that Trump support for Iranian protesters breaks a Twitter record, something that mainstream media will not report.
And he tweeted in Farsi.
So basically, as often as he does, the president took to Twitter to circumvent the media and speak directly to the people.
Only this time, he did so in Farsi.
I also call that squiggly guys or noodle language.
I don't know.
That could be considered offensive, but just slightly, you know?
The official language in Iran, and he broke a Twitter record in the process.
As of the writing of this article, one of his tweets had earned over 300,000 likes, making it the most liked Farsi tweet in history, according to the Washington Examiner.
The other Farsi tweet is over 223,000 likes.
So Donald Trump wrote this tweet, and that's the question.
Who's going to win in changing the minds of the Iranian people?
Is it going to be days of lies and propaganda campaigns by the Iranian government or a couple squiggly guys by an orange man?
You know, I'll tell you what.
For a language that looks a little bit like macaroni on a paper, I got to say this was pretty effective.
Because if you translate this tweet, it actually says, to the brave, long-suffering people of Iran, I've stood with you since the beginning of my presidency and my administration will continue to stand with you.
We are following your protests closely and are inspired by your courage.
So Donald Trump understands one thing.
Iran is the enemy of the United States, but the Iranian people are not.
The problem with having a dictator is that the information that comes out of the country makes it appear that the entire country is against the United States.
But of course, what we found out recently is that when protesters even walked, if you see this video right here, protesters are walking around an American flag and an Israeli flag that were put on the ground.
So the Iranian government actually painted an Israeli flag on the floor, an American flag.
First of all, it's like with all these sanctions, this is what you, the government's painting flags on the floor as a sign of disrespect so people walk on them.
I think it's pretty awesome that there's an Israeli flag and an American flag in Iran.
Pretty cool stuff.
It's so funny.
It's like that negative press, right?
Where they think, oh, we're going to like make our people walk on these flags.
But in the end, it just promotes Israel.
It promotes the United States.
But realistically speaking, these students are not walking on the flags.
They're showing their country, we're not against Israel.
We're not against America.
In fact, I would have to say that the dissident right is probably more against Israel in the United States than the Iranian people themselves, who are very educated, by the way.
They're not stupid people.
They're not just like, you know, these people like to discriminate and be like, oh, they're just like sand, raghead, cave-dwelling people.
No, that's like the mujahadeem.
That's al-Qaeda.
That's different groups who are in the hills of Pakistan and Afghanistan that people make fun of.
Iranian people are very developed.
They have an advanced civilization.
And in a matter of fact, just because Islam has really destroyed the republic, it doesn't mean that in any way, shape, or form that the people don't still hold on to the values of freedom and liberty.
And they really do want to see their country made well.
But what's really interesting is that there's two people working against this.
So as we're starting to see progress in Iran, the Democrats are working with the Iranian dictatorship to echo his views.
And in fact, the Iranian dictators are learning from Democrats in the United States on how to come against their country, which is something interesting.
I really dislike how Democrats are anti-American and the fact that they don't like to wear flags.
They think nationalism's bad.
They don't understand that they say loving your country is racist.
I mean, this is really disgusting rhetoric.
But Iran's foreign minister echoes Dem's talking points in shifting blame for the passengers shot down by Iran.
Iran finally admitted late Friday that it is responsible for the Ukrainian passenger jet that crashed outside Tehran on Wednesday after killing, after American intelligence indicated that Iranian missiles targeted the plane, killing all 176 on board.
However, Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif later took to social media to regurgitate the talking points of some Democrats this week, shifting blame for the downed airliner onto the United States.
A sad day.
This person, Javad Zarif, said, a sad day.
Preliminary conclusions of internal investigation by armed forces.
Human error at time of crisis caused by U.S. adventurism led to disaster.
Our profound regrets, apologies, and condolences to our people, to the families of all victims, and to other affected nations.
So the Iranian government is taking this idea that Donald Trump is to blame for this downing of this jet, which is absolutely false.
There's no way that he's responsible for this.
But of course, the Democrats have not stopped at taking any chance to blame their president, the president of the United States, for the downing of this jet, which is really interesting.
And so this Ukrainian jet, which was shot down by rockets by the Iranian military force, is now being put on Trump.
And who gave him this idea?
Democrats and the liberal media.
In fact, newsbusters pointed out that a Fox News wrecked MSNBC for airing Iran's propaganda.
Shortly after Iran launched rockets on a U.S. coalition airbase in Iraq, where U.S. military were housed, Iran, I mean, the MSNBC was starting to promote the effectiveness of the attack, saying that over 30 U.S. troops were killed in that attack when no casualties actually happened.
In fact, little rocket boys from Iran can't do much with our anti-air, I mean, anti-missile air systems, including the fact our ability to withstand these attacks and the fact that we can detect them early on.
But our media is so in line with wanting to see Donald Trump fail, they would rather have U.S. military personnel killed.
And I'm not joking.
People would rather have, they would be happy if American troops died.
They would be glad because what it would do is make Trump look bad.
These people are so demented, they would enjoy the blood of American people losing their lives simply because it would give them more ammunition to destroy and to take down the president.
And they're sad about it.
They're sad that Donald Trump didn't kill people.
And this is not even like to be so pro-Donald Trump.
It's just to realize how wicked and terrible these people are and the fact that they are looking for the blood of their own fellow citizens in order to take down a man who was elected democratically.
It's absolutely insane.
And when it comes down to it, the Democrats, when it comes down to Iran, they're all working against the United States.
They're working against the people of Iran, wanting the people to seem like they love their dictator, that they're in favor of them when in reality, that's not true.
Anyway, I want to know that, you know, it's absolutely crazy.
And if you want some more evidence of this, there's a New York Times reporter who amplified the Iranian propaganda.
Listen to what he said in the New York Times.
He said, in response, Iran's moderate president, Hassan Rouani, so he calls Iran's president moderate.
Okay, they're shilling for a foreign entity.
And then he talks about the idea that, you know, don't forget that even though they took down a Ukrainian jet, that the American military right here, they took down an Iranian jet during the 1980s.
A warship shot it down.
So, AKA, remember that America is just as bad as Iran, which is this anti-American rhetoric, which I personally am tired of.
But it also comes down to the fact that these tensions are not de-escalating.
A top Iran militia leader was shot dead in Iraq just over this weekend, in fact, with two of his top officials.
And this article talks about the fact that a leading pro-Iran militia commander has been killed in Iraq, according to the Daily Mail.
Talib Abbas al-Sayedi, a high-level leader of the popular mobilization forces, was shot dead on Saturday in Karbala, a city about 60 miles southwest of Baghdad, the British news outlet reported.
The identities of the gunmen are unknown.
Local Iraqi media claim that El Syed was assassinated by unknown shooters.
No further details about the gunmen were available.
So there's further assassinations going on.
And I don't know if that's American forces.
But it doesn't really matter because there is an all-out war to take down the Ayatollah and to take down these revolutionaries who are currently in power and are subjugating women.
They're killing homosexuals.
They're wiping out any form of freedom of speech.
They don't allow you to speak out against the government.
And we're seeing that the Democrats and the mainstream media bros, these media guys, are coming together and they are working in cahoots to change the American perception, to favor the Iranian dictatorship in order just to make Trump look bad.
And meanwhile, in the real world, the people are revolting.
They are protesting.
They're saying, I don't want this to be a part of my life.
I don't want this lack of American values of freedom and things to spread further in the world.
And the sad part about this when it all ends is, are we going to see any freedom?
Is anything going to happen?
Is anything going to develop in the country?
I hope so, but I do hope America is also careful not to get into a war with Iran, as well as being careful on who they arm in any conflicts.
Because remember, Obama and Hillary started ISIS, technically.
They really did.
And also, don't forget that other presidents started Al-Qaeda.
We've armed the wrong people in the 1980s.
We had problems also arming the wrong paramilitary in Central America.
So America doesn't have a good track record of finding the right side in conflicts.
