So we're just a few minutes out from the Kamala Harris event out here in Los Angeles, California.
And as you can see to my right, the crowd is actually growing exponentially in this line.
I'm not entirely sure the exact numbers in Joe Biden's recent kickoff rally, but I would say that this event probably would be of at least comparable size or growing a bit more.
Out here in California, there's obviously a huge support for Kamala Harris, being that she's already one of our senators.
And also the push and for inclusion and diversity, being that she's a woman and also a woman of color, a lot of people think this is a good time for change in our country.
Let's continue to see what the people think, what they feel, and why they're out here to support Kamala Harris for the next president of the United States.
You said you're here just to see another Democrat.
Who are you leaning most towards and who do you feel you're leaning most against?
unidentified
That's tricky.
My top three right now are definitely Kamala, Elizabeth Warren, and I've also been a huge Corey Booker fan.
The most important thing is I think she can beat Trump.
When people say Trump did X, Y, and Z, Trump didn't do that.
Obama gave it to him.
I forget who said it, but I think it's Joe Biden who said it yesterday was.
Trump has inherited everything in his life, including the economy that he got from Obama, including the billions of dollars that he got from his parents.
We're under registered press here, and I appreciate if you don't actually interfere with what we're doing for work.
Thank you.
We can't be that polarized.
We've got to be more united as a country.
unidentified
So how do you...
So you...
So how do you feel about what he said?
Do you think that it should be polarized or united?
I'm branding with Destiny.
It's an honor to meet you.
I don't know what that is.
Let's speak true.
Russia interfered in the election of the president of the United States.
Yet on this subject, we have a commander-in-chief.
Who, who, on this subject, prefers to take the word of the Russian president over the word of the American intelligence community?
We have a commander-in-chief who prefers to take the word of a North Korean dictator over the word of the American intelligence community when it comes to an American student who was tortured and later died.
Obviously, in the Democrat Party, there's a lot of talk about diversity, but the two frontrunners right now are both white men.
Kamala Harris was actually a woman of color, and she's obviously she's female.
So do you feel like if Biden or let's say Bernie Sanders are put at the front, that it would be good to pair the ticket with Kamala Harris as the vice president, or do you feel like maybe that the people in the front should step down to give somebody else a chance for once?
unidentified
Yeah, I think the people should just step down because we want a woman president and we want Kamala Harris.
And I've heard some really good things about her on TV this morning, just to say.
And I think, like I said, they should just step down.
To be fair, people are still coming into the stadium here.
But if you look over here to my left, one entire half of this junior college auditorium or gymnasium, as you might call it, is completely not open for capacity.
And over here, I do imagine we're still going to fill one half of the gymnasium.
And we probably have an additional 200 to 300 people to my left that are going to be crowded around the stage.
But it really is remarkable that when Donald Trump came to LA or Orange County, he fills stadiums.
I mean, talking like tens of thousands of people at these events.
And when we look at Biden's kickoff rally, right, is more around 2,000.
And additionally, this rally, I mean, I don't know what this is.
I would say maybe two to 3,000 at this point, maybe fully when it's at capacity.
But I mean, can these people really pull this off?
And I'm not being biased here.
It's just there's not a lot of, there's not as many people in Los Angeles, which is like one of the most liberal cities in the entire country.
And the state where Kamala Harris is from, they can't even feel, you know, a gymnasium.
I mean, my school field more people at a pec round.
People here are nice.
A few people, I mean, but most people here are very nice.
But there's not that many.
unidentified
I'm pro-choice, and I do not allow a person to dictate what to do with my body, especially white men telling me what to do with my body.
Obama himself even said that we're not going to have a magic wand that we can just wave around and the economy gets better.
And then within two years of Trump's administration, you know, GDP, you know, was, I think it's at like four point something, three point something.
And people are saying that that's because of Obama, even though Obama himself said that the economy is not going to magically get better within two years.
What are your thoughts on that?
unidentified
Well, I think you can, the way I relate it to you is kind of like a GPA in school, right?
Like if you screw up and you have a few C's, you know, in your first semester or whatever, and then you start getting all A's, your GPA is still not going to go to a 4.0 overnight.
It's going to take a lot of time to get there, right?
And so I think with Obama being in office for eight years and then the next two being Trump, I think those eight years were a reflection of the work that the Obama administration did.
So obviously it's been about three and a half years since Obama's presidency.
A lot of people, especially people in the African-American community, have come out of the Obama administration, Obama presidency, being dissatisfied with Obama's presidency.
Were you one of those people, or do you feel that Obama did enough for our communities, or do you feel like...
unidentified
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
I didn't go in with those colored glasses.
I felt Obama did the best he could with what he had to work with.
She's probably the only person in this entire stadium that actually watches what we do.
unidentified
Well, yeah, people just disagree because they, you know, what party you're affiliated with, and then they think, you know, you're going to yell at them and stuff and they're going to be portrayed poorly.
But, you know, if you just watch what you say, you don't have to worry about being portrayed wrong.
Thank you so much for watching another episode of Slightly Offensive.
We were here at the Kamala Harris Rally in Los Angeles leaving early because quite frankly, we're probably not missing much.
There's some dancers planned, breakdancers, I think.
There was a dreamer, like a non-citizen singing national anthem in Spanish, just typically what you would expect at a Kamala Harris rally or any Democrat candidate who's struggling or vying for the ticket with very little chance of actually getting it.
But of course, we never want to completely undermine these people, as that's what the left said to the right about Donald Trump that he couldn't win, but he did.
Anyways, what do you think about Kamala Harris?

Come on, there's something wrong with that picture, yo.
There's something wrong with that picture.
And each one's got to teach one.
And you need to spread the word, what you heard, as to how we need to strategize to get our people to realize that in spite of adversity, success can still be obtained.
