Thank you.
Thank you.
The David Knight Show.
As the clock strikes 13, it's Monday, the 3rd of February, year of our Lord 2025.
Well, we're going to talk about wars.
Wars everywhere.
And, of course, the first one we're going to talk about is the trade war.
We still have the war in Ukraine that Trump is going to get rid of, but we'll see about that.
It's on the back list now.
First, we've got to take over Greenland and Panama.
We have to claim that there's some kind of a massive drug trafficking operation going on from Canada.
So we're going to talk about the tariffs, and we're going to take a look at what happened the last time Trump did this, in Trump 1.0.
He imposed tariffs, and there are real consequences from that.
And we're going to take a look at the revolution that came about when the income tax and central banks were put in it, and what kind of a revolution are we in right now?
And then we'll take a look at the war against the bureaucrats.
There's some good stuff in that, actually.
We'll also take a look at the foreign wars, the actual shooting wars that are going on.
We'll be right back.
back.
Stay with us.
I got you, babe.
I got you, babe.
I got you, babe.
Okay, campers, rise and shine, and don't forget your booties, because it's cold out there.
Yeah, that's right.
Groundhog Day.
It's something of a ritual with my family to watch that on Groundhog Day.
And, of course, we're being told another six more weeks of winter.
And, of course, Phil really knows.
Neither the groundhog nor the weatherman knew what the weather was going to be even that day.
But, you know, so much for climate predictions.
I think we ought to put Punxsutawney Phil in the U.N. because he seems to be able to predict things.
At least we pretend that he can.
Better than the people who are there.
They're trying to shut down our lives over weather predictions when they get everything wrong.
This is a long tradition, of course, and it goes back.
I was surprised to see that, you know, their gobbler's knob, that this goes back to the 1800s.
The late 1800s, but still to the 1800s.
There was a newspaper editor there at Puxatawney, Pennsylvania.
Claimed that local groundhog was the only true weather-predicting groundhog.
And that includes all those quote-unquote scientists at the UN, the UNIPCC, and all of the rest of them.
And, of course, when we talk about Groundhog Day, if you've seen the movie, you know that Bill Murray just keeps living the same day over and over again.
And it seems like we're living the same administration over and over again.
Because here we are, it's Groundhog Day on tariffs again.
Over the weekend, we were right back to where we were in the first Trump administration.
But before I get into that, let me make a quick correction.
As I said, I don't always get everything right, but I try to correct it when I get it wrong.
One of the things that we talked about on Friday, this helicopter crash, and I still think that it is suspicious, the patterns that it was making, but again, It was a training mission.
I don't know why it was zigzagging over and over again.
I don't know why there was one near collision after another.
In terms of the staffing issues that were there, subsequent to it, immediately Trump came out and said it was DEI. Some people put out the name of a Black Hawk helicopter, the pilot that was there.
A man who claims that he's a woman now and had the Department of Defense spend all the money and requisite drugs or surgery or whatever, I guess, on it.
And the person's name was Joe Ellis and reported that Joe Ellis was a pilot there.
Joe Ellis is still alive, not the pilot.
And that information came from social media, and that happens sometimes.
I would just remind everybody that mainstream media doesn't get it right all the time either, do they?
Sometimes it's deliberate misinformation.
Sometimes there's deliberate misinformation on social media.
Sometimes it's bots and so forth.
I still think that social media, personally, I think it's more reliable than mainstream media.
There's less bias there, and there's also a community that pushes back.
And so that was debunked shortly after I reported that Friday morning.
It had been there during Thursday, but it got debunked after the program.
So I want to correct that.
And I just remind everybody that CNN and Jake Tapper, after one of these shootings, identified the shooter as Sam Hyde.
Because that is a running meme after every shooting, even putting Sam Hyde in as the alleged ghost of Kiev fighter pilot.
And the mainstream media and congressmen have fallen for that time and again.
Time and again.
Jake Tapper put that out there, and I sent a thing to him on social media.
And he said, well, I was told that by a congressman.
Oh, okay.
Well, again, what is your source?
Everybody said, well, you got that from social media.
Well, I would say, well, you got that from a congressman.
They're always lying.
They deliberately lie.
They don't just get stuff wrong.
They deliberately lie.
So, anyway, that was the excuse.
In terms of the DEI stuff, I don't know if Trump was saying it because of the report about Joe Ellis or, and of course they put J.D. Vance out, who is an excellent communicator, whether he's telling the truth or not, he's an excellent communicator on things.
And so he came out and said, well, look, here's the situation.
You know, we've had, and I forget what the number was, hundreds of people that were turned away from the FAA. So they got a staffing shortage because they've been turning away people because they didn't click the boxes.
You know, okay, well, we got this white guy.
He didn't do the job, but we're waiting till we get a black lesbian female or perhaps a tranny, you know.
And so they were not hiring people, discriminating against them, saying, well, no, no, you're not eligible to be hired.
And we know that that's the case.
Whether that's what was happening here or not, we know that it's happening regularly.
And that's one of the good things that's going to be coming out of the Trump administration, but I want to talk about that later.
The saddest thing about that is that we didn't do it ourselves.
Why do we sit around and wait for somebody to do it?
The same thing I said about Roe v.
Wade being overturned finally by the Supreme Court.
And I said that should have been stopped at the very beginning.
By people who were at state governors and that type of thing.
They have the power to stop them.
The federal government and the Supreme Court had no authority in that area to rule, to decide arbitrarily when life begins.
And so many times these bad things happen because we sit there and we wait for a savior to come do this for us.
And we wait for somebody else to undo it because we don't have the courage to stand up and say, I'm sorry, you're a man or you're a woman.
And I'm not going to play your game.
And if you tell me that you're Napoleon, I'm not going to play that game either.
I'm not going to march to your drum.
So, again, as we look at this crash, still questions about what was going on.
Whether it was massive incompetence or suicide, the Army helicopter was warned about the American Airlines plane twice, the final alert coming just seconds before the D.C. crash.
And so the question is, when we look at this, when we look at what is happening with the tariffs, you have to wonder if Trump is trying to crash our economy.
This is what we have to wonder when we look at those flight patterns.
We have to wonder if that pilot was deliberately...
Trying to crash the airplane, we have to look at the history of these tariffs and what happened with Trump the first time around.
I wonder if it is intentional, what he's trying to do.
So, let's take a look at the tariffs that have surfaced here.
We have, over the weekend, it happened on February the 1st.
And, you know, so many people...
In the business community, we're in denial about this, especially the Trump supporters.
You know, I talked to David Bonson, and I thought it was very interesting what he had to say, and I agree with most of what he had to say, but I always, as you know, you listen to this program, I always believed that Trump was going to do the tariffs.
I did not think that it was a bluff.
And as we were approaching it just days away.
You know, people are still saying, well, it looks like he might do it, but it's got to be a bluff.
He wouldn't do this again.
You know, it's just a stupid program that he did the first time.
No, he's going to do it again.
Let me tell you something.
I'll not be surprised if he does the pandemic type of stuff again, right?
Over bird flu or whatever they make up.
I wouldn't be surprised about any of that stuff.
Why do you think if he got away with it the first time that he wouldn't do it a second time?
And what is the intention of all this?
Well, let's first look at what it is.
Trump slapped a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico and a 10% tariff on China.
Isn't that interesting?
Canada and Mexico, part of the USMCA, get a higher tariff slapped on them than China.
China.
So, the Trump supporters...
I wanted to imagine that this was not going to happen, and the business owners were like, no, he can't possibly be doing this again, the business community, after it hurt us so much last time.
And the farmers.
I mean, even when we're looking back at Trump's first administration, we had a lot of farmers say, hey, I really like Trump.
And yeah, they did eventually give us some money, but it nearly put us out of business, or it did put my friends out of business in spite of that.
Six months after he did it, he did a little bit of relief.
From a program that was around in the Great Depression.
So, no delay, no selective targeting, no slow rollout of phased-in tariffs, as speculated by Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank.
Why did they speculate that?
Well, we even had, and I reported it, when you had Besant, who was selected as Treasury Secretary, he even said that in his hearings.
He said, well, we'll probably roll it out.
As 2.5% a month until we get up to a maximum of 20%.
You know, and that slow walking it like that would have given people a chance to respond.
But no, he rolled out not a 2.5% a month for 8 months increase, but 25% all at once.
So you've got to ask yourself, what?
And what does he want?
Have you seen anything talking about what Trump really wants them to do?
You know, it's like, do this or I'll throw these big tariffs on you.
He hasn't said anything about what he wants.
Instead, he came up with this nonsense about fentanyl.
Fentanyl.
So, the only thing that he wanted, folks, was tariffs.
He wanted tariffs.
He didn't want any concessions from them.
Economic or...
Migration or drug war.
He didn't want any of that.
And we know that because fentanyl is not an issue coming across the border.
There was a total of 50 pounds of fentanyl that came across the border from Canada out of 20,000 that came into the country overall, mostly through Mexico.
So that is, you know, 0.2%, I think, of what the amount was.
And so, you know, the other 99.8% came from someplace other than Canada, but Canada gets punished with it.
That's a nonsense reason.
But if you look at the mainstream media, not the mainstream, the MAGA stream media, oh, they buy into it 100%.
Oh, this is absolutely necessary because of that fentanyl that's flooding our country from Canada.
Whatever Trump says, They never check it.
They just accept it, and they repeat it, and they double down as if it were true.
So let's go back to 2019. In 2018, Trump had imposed tariffs the first time around.
And so this article from, let's see, this is from CNBC, written in 2019, looking back at what the costs of Trump's tariffs were.
And here's the headline.
The cost of Trump's tariffs has fallen entirely on U.S. businesses and households, says Goldman Sachs.
And, of course, it was their guy that was in the White House.
Remember that?
Cohen?
How they gave him a golden parachute, like a $250 million buyout all at once.
They changed their rules so that he could go to work for the Trump administration.
And so they said, with a greater impact on consumer prices than previously expected.
Of course that's what it's going to be.
It's just another tax.
But it's a hidden tax.
And that's one of the reasons why he wants to do it.
Trump wants to pretend that he's going to lower the income tax, because that's what everybody sees.
Meanwhile...
He raises the taxes on everything that comes in, and it filters through the prices.
Oh, where did this come from?
Why is everything so expensive?
I don't know.
Where'd this inflation come from?
I don't know.
And it's going to happen.
We're going to see it right away in terms of gasoline prices, because we get a lot of oil from Canada.
That's the way Trump is going to operate.
It's the same thing he's going to do with the climate nonsense and helping his buddies with the CBDC and the crypto stuff.
He's always going to avoid the direct confrontation, and he's going to do it in a backstabbing, subtle, hidden way, the same way he did the pandemic.
He paid people to kill you while he was paying the pharmaceutical companies to kill you, and then Biden comes in and mandates it.
And everybody's upset with Biden because he mandated that.
How about the guy that created it?
How about the guy that was killing people with ventilators and remdesivir and medical rules to deny treatment to people and blaming it on COVID? Still, we had Francis Boyle who died over the weekend.
And I'm sad to see him go.
But, you know, Francis Ball and I were on opposite ends, always through this stuff.
And I was telling everybody at Infowars, when all this stuff began, that it wasn't real.
I was the first one in December to say, hey, if they got some sick people, maybe they had to take a look at the fact that they got a bioweapons safety level 4 lab, the only one in China, there at Wuhan, right at the spot where they said this all began.
And so I said, was it accidental?
Was it deliberate?
Is that what was going on?
But then when I saw how fake it was, and when I saw what all the proposals were, lock everybody down until we get a vaccine, and we're going to lock you down, that was straight out of Dark Winter.
So it's like, no, no, no, this is not real.
And so I was pushing that, and so Alex had Dr. Francis Boyle on, and I'd talked to him before about bioweapon treaties and things.
He had taken the lead in terms of stopping.
Bioweapon work.
And I agree with that.
Strongly support that.
And I'm glad that he did that.
But we were on opposite sides of this.
I said, this is not a real thing.
And he said, no, it is.
It's a real bioweapon, and it came from the lab.
And so Alex had us on, and we were going back and forth on that.
And he said, yeah, and the jab will be a bioweapon too, right?
So then Alex finishes up.
That was the time that I saw.
What people had, some people had told me, said, Alex is saying that the jab that Trump is doing is not the bad one that Bill Gates wants.
And so, I honestly didn't believe that.
Not even from Alex that he would do such a bold-faced, stupid lie.
But I've got these clips, as you've seen.
He actually had a commercial doing it.
And he did it while I was there, going out.
Well, I've got to say that I stand by that.
I stand by the fact, I know people got sick, and I know it gets some people upset.
I got very sick.
Well, guess what?
So did I. I got very sick in December.
And I got even sicker back in 2009. You know, when you get, flu is a thing.
Flu kills a lot of people.
And, you know, don't let them project a pandemic.
On to the flu.
There's nothing unusual about flu.
There's nothing unusual about getting sick and dying.
What is unusual is that they kill people with ventilators and remdesivir by denial of treatment.
And then they put out an actual bioweapon.
That's different.
And we know that this is a lie because as I pointed out last week, I think it was Friday.
We keep getting all of these studies, the latest one from the UK. And they said there's not any children who did not get the jab.
That had a heart attack.
All the heart attacks in children are coming from the jab.
Furthermore, none of the kids, jabbed or unjabbed, died from COVID. Furthermore, the kids who got COVID got sick, just like the flu shot.
You get the flu shot, it attacks your immune system and you get sick.
This is a proven thing.
What they did was purely psychological.
And that was the other thing that made me absolutely convinced.
By the time that Trump did that executive order on March the 13th, that this is all a lie.
It was the two weeks of data that we had from Italy.
Remember, the panic went from China to Italy.
And we had two weeks of data from Italy.
And what was the situation?
They had a handful of people in the entire country.
That they claimed died from COVID. But they admitted that they had two and a half comorbidities or past the age of life expectancy.
And so they were just projecting COVID onto it.
And that's why they focused on the elderly.
Because guess what?
It's not unusual for old people to die.
And what they did was they then projected this usual stuff onto a pandemic.
It is unusual for kids to die.
From heart attacks.
And that's what we got out of all this stuff.
So I stand by the fact that the pandemic was not a bioweapon.
It did not leak out of the lab.
It was not designed out of the lab.
All of it, all of it, was this vaccine that was done by Trump and Biden.
And that's why they were the two that we had to choose from.
But there wasn't a choice.
They make the choice even for that.
They pick.
Who the contestants are going to be, and then they rig it.
This is rigged as a $64,000 question, if you remember that scandal.
So, going back to 2019, after a year of Trump tariffs during Trump 1.0, the bank said, Goldman Sachs, in a note, that consumer prices are higher, partly because Chinese exporters have not lowered their prices to better compete in the U.S. market.
They don't have to compete in the U.S. market.
In many cases, there's no U.S. manufacturer left.
They've killed them with 30 years of this nonsense.
So there's no U.S. competition to start with in many of these cases.
And guess what?
They've been allowed to have an advantage, and they've got even a greater advantage now because of energy costs.
We're never going to catch them unless we change that.
Trump has repeatedly, this is 2019, Trump has repeatedly and inaccurately claimed that China will pay for the tariffs.
He's back to, he's recycling the same lies.
Just like Mexico is going to pay for the wall, right?
China is going to pay for the tariffs.
It's the same thing now.
That's not how it works, folks.
You can't tax a corporation.
And if you put tariffs at the border, those tariffs are going to be embedded in the cost of the products or the people are going to go out of business.
They can't absorb that.
One might have expected, says this report, this is actually from Goldman, one might have expected that Chinese exporters of tariff-affected goods would have to lower their prices somewhat to compete in the U.S. market, sharing in the cost of the tariffs.
But one would be ignoring, I will say, this is my commentary, one would be ignoring the effects of Chinese monopoly in so many different areas and the fact that they've already driven their competition out of business.
One would be ignoring that, wouldn't one?
Analysis of the extremely detailed...
Item level in the two new studies shows no decline in the prices, exclusive of tariffs, of imported goods from China that faced tariffs.
In other words, they didn't lower the price of anything.
They didn't absorb anything.
It was all paid for 100% by the U.S. consumers.
But of course, it did kick off a bit of a trade war.
And people who were making and selling things in America, you know, people like farmers, they got hit really hard.
Look, if you want to do something to help Americans, the thing that wouldn't cost anything, any dollars, would be deregulation.
Deregulation is the thing that is really the iron and shackles keeping us from doing anything.
And if you just call off the bureaucracy, That would do the deregulation.
Now, I know that people are going to say, well, look at how he's going after the bureaucracy.
We're going to talk about the bureaucracy wars going on here.
But these wars and the bureaucracy are really over people that are enemies of Trump, frankly.
And I'm glad to see them gone.
He's getting rid of a lot of criminals and the intelligence community, the FBI, USAID, which has always been a CIA front.
That's where Obama's mama hung out.
And so he's getting rid of a lot of these people that he knows are his enemies.
But he's keeping the institutions.
And the institutions are unconstitutional and fundamentally flawed.
And they will be rogue regardless of who controls them.
They'll just be rogue for a different group of people.
But you need real deregulation.
If you got rid of the deregulation, it wouldn't cost them any lost revenue.
As a matter of fact, they could save revenue by getting rid of these agencies, but they're not about to do that.
So what were these tariffs that he enacted back in 2018?
Well, he put them in in January of 2018. That time he waited a year after he had been elected.
This time it's like right away, you know, just like a week or two.
So they had 30 to 50% tariffs on solar panels.
How'd that work out?
Okay, now we can say that all solar panels are made in America, right?
Not at all.
Not at all.
They're all made there.
You just arbitrarily raise the price of solar panels.
And it didn't have anything to do.
Again, if you want to let American industry thrive, yes, taxes are a big part of it.
But I think regulation at this point is an even bigger part of it.
And so, the 30-50% tariffs on solar panels from China didn't make any difference at all.
There's no domestic solar panel industry.
Steel, 25%.
Aluminum, 10%.
And that percolated throughout the economy.
And so, when he did this back in 2018, you had China, you had Canada, you had India.
They all retaliated with their own tariffs.
You know, putting tariffs on agricultural products so that by June 2018, six months later, he's got to pull out a program from the Great Depression to pay the farmers who are losing money and farm income that year.
One third of it was coming from federal subsidies because he had hurt the agricultural exports so much with his idiotic tariffs.
And still, you had a lot of farmers who went under.
Even though, six months later, they got massive subsidies that still wasn't enough.
Too little, too late.
He relied on a twisted interpretation of a 1977 act last time, and as he's doing today, he's got a twisted interpretation of the drug law, the drug war, and other issues like that.
And the final results...
From multiple studies, here's some of the economic metrics that came out of Trump 1.0 tariffs.
You had a 10% decline in U.S. exports.
You had the Republican counties suffered the most because they were predominantly agricultural.
You had the trade deficit grew 24%.
24%.
You had 245,000 jobs lost.
And most importantly, I think from Trump's perspective and my guess as to why he's doing something this stupid yet again, it was a windfall for the federal government in terms of taxes.
By every metric, it was bad for Americans.
Higher prices, lost jobs, lost exports, but more taxes for the government.
Why?
Well, because you've got the income tax and you've got tariffs.
And that's what's happening now, too.
In spite of all of the Trump delusional idiots out there who are saying, well, that's it.
You know, we're going to get rid of the income tax.
And they're fantasizing about that.
As a matter of fact, here's Dan Bongino.
If Donald Trump can convince the Republican Congress to get rid of the income tax for a system of tariffs instead, Ladies and gentlemen, the economy will absolutely explode like you have not seen since the Reagan years, maybe bigger.
The explosion of capital and investment in the United States and the basically $30,000 or so raise a lot of people are going to get will absolutely blow our economy up like you've never seen before.
Yeah, well, he's absolutely right about the effect of that.
But Dan is living in a fantasy world.
Dan, that's not going to happen.
What's the matter with him?
Are you born yesterday?
What's the deal?
There's absolutely no way he's going to get rid of the income tax.
You might notice, Dan, that he's bragging about...
Keeping these tax cuts from 2017, making them permanent.
You might have noticed that he's also talking about how he's going to lower the income tax rate for corporations to 15%.
And that's a magic number, Dan, because that's the number that the global governance has decided is going to be the minimum tax rate.
He's not going to go below the minimum tax rate that the global governance says, the G7 and the UN, oh no, we can't have less than 50. So he's not going to buck that.
He's going to follow their instructions on that.
Total delusion.
Yes, we can all fantasize about how wonderful it would be to not have an income tax and what we could do with all of that money and so forth.
That's not in the works.
Not in the works.
Our baseline expectation, again, this is back in 2019, looking at one year of Trump tariffs 1.0.
Our baseline expectation is that the U.S. and China will strike a deal later this year.
We think this would come in the form of a gradual...
The most recent round of trade talks back in 2019 were overshadowed by President Trump's decision to more than double tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods from 10% to 25%.
Now let's take a quick look at one particular industry.
I never thought of the paddling industry, did you?
But, of course, there's an industry that's all around paddle boats, around kayaks and canoes and the paddles that motivate them and everything.
So, I mean, this is, you know, it's an industry that has its own trade publications and things like that.
And so, this article from PaddlingMag.com, terrorists come roaring back to the paddling industry.
Probably.
Maybe.
This is before it happened this weekend.
Again, everybody is like, is he really going to do this again?
I can't believe he's going to do it.
Maybe it's just a bluff, right?
And so this was done a couple of days before it actually pulled the trigger.
As this article goes to press, I'm 24 hours ahead of Trump's threatened February 1st start of 25% tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports.
And a further 10% on Chinese goods.
We still don't know whether our industry is headed for an epic beatdown or just a good scare.
They could have said, is the paddling industry going to get a spanking?
But I imagine they've heard that joke over and over again.
They didn't want to do it.
We're in the life flashes before our eyes stage, they said.
So imagine...
This analysis is condensed into that weightless half-second where the river takes you on its grip and you can only guess what the next half-second will bring.
Here we go.
They're headed for whitewater.
Whitewater rapids there.
How tariffs have already impacted the paddling manufacturers.
Let's remember the quote from Chief Justice John Marshall at the Supreme Court, 1819, and he said, The power to tax is the power to destroy.
And so the question is, what is Trump going to be destroying?
And the reality is that in a trade war, and now we're already seeing retaliation from the countries that he's initiated a preemptive war on, we see that they are going to retaliate in kind.
And just like in a real war, These guys are going to sit there for whatever their purposes, whether it's geopolitics or ego or getting or grafting corruption, for whatever their reasons, they're going to initiate a trade war.
And both sides will escalate this.
And guess who gets hurt?
The citizens of all the countries involved in the trade war.
All of them.
It's going to hurt Americans.
It's going to hurt the Canadians, the Mexicans.
Everybody's going to get hurt with this.
Not so much Trump and the other leaders that are there.
The industry has never faced a tariff challenge.
This is a paddling industry.
Exactly like Trump is threatening, with Canada, Mexico, and China tariffs stacked on top of each other.
But how could we forget the tariffs enacted in his first administration, many of which remain in effect?
Or the pandemic supply chain upheaval that we've just been through, because he's the one who did that.
He's the one who broke the supply chain, right?
Didn't care at all.
Kept persisted.
People were destroying food on farms.
The shelves were empty.
And yet, he persisted.
And he'll do all that again.
And he won't think twice about it.
And you know, neither Trump nor his apologists seem to have learned anything about this.
Or if they did, they don't care.
And they don't want to help the U.S. Don't tell me these people are American first.
They're not about America first.
The first Trump administration, says Paddling Magazine, brought the tariffs back with profound effects on paddle sports businesses, no matter where they make and sell their products.
Goods imported into the U.S. from China suddenly faced tariffs of 10-25%, in addition to whatever levies were already in place.
For inflatable kayaks and SUPs from China, And I'm not sure what that SUP is, but that's an abbreviation for something.
Anyway, that's a class of two products, I said, that are not even produced in the United States.
Nobody in America makes an inflatable kayak, and yet that got a 27.5% tariff.
Meanwhile, and that's not the only thing.
I mean, this is a recreational thing.
If you're not into that kind of recreation, you go, well, that doesn't affect me.
But this is just one industry.
And this is going on all over the place.
They're going to be adding massive tariffs to things for which there is no American manufacturer.
It's just stealing money from you.
And yet, the Trump supporters cheer.
Meanwhile, U.S.-based manufacturers took fire from Canada and European Union, which responded to Trump's steel and aluminum tariffs.
With retaliatory levies on a host of products, including kayaks and canoes.
Oh, so you're going to put a tax on steel and aluminum?
All right, we'll put large, broad tariffs on things that you make that are not like that.
See, only the government wins, just like the lockdowns.
Only the government wins, and they're PPP partners.
So they said, that's what happened in 2018 to Jackson Kayak, which moles boats in Middle Tennessee.
They said the last time Trump was in office, all of our European business was killed with a 25% tariff.
This time around, everything was campaigned on helping U.S. manufacturers.
But it follows suit from last time that it will not be good for our business.
The COVID-19 pandemic shut down the global supply chain just as governments flooded the zone with disposable income and limited recreational options to little more than hiking, Netflix, and paddling, they said.
And so the paddle sports industry exploded.
They said they soared to spectacular new heights just as, and just as suddenly, crashed back to earth.
And the manufacturers had filled their warehouses to the rafters with the new boats and gear.
Inventory peaked just as demand waned.
Meanwhile, the central banks raised interest rates to 20-year highs to rein in inflation caused by the stimulus, which made the cost of holding all of that product Even more onerous.
And so a lot of them went out of business.
You see, when the government comes in and locks everybody down, gives people universal basic income, all of these measures, these artificial measures, have unintended consequences.
Or maybe they're intended.
Maybe they're intended, just like the vaccine, to kill us, to kill our businesses.
Because we were told that we weren't essential.
Not essential to Trump.
So he said, so it's been quite a ride, so now what?
Well, we don't know.
We'll wait and see.
But from history, we can pretty much tell what's going to happen.
And from basic economics, we know that as well.
As this article from Kitco's, they call it Trump's tariff gamble.
That's right, folks.
He's gambling with your life.
And how did this failed owner of six casinos, what is he gambling with, right?
Well, he's gambling with tariffs, he's gambling with crypto, he's gambling with AI, he's gambling with a lot of stuff, isn't he?
This is one of the reasons why I want to cash out my chips as much as I can and get into gold.
I don't like to gamble, and I don't like to be brought into a casino by Trump, especially when he doesn't know how to run a casino or a government.
It's going to be economic fallout, market chaos, and A record surge for gold, says one analysis of this.
And Brian Shulhavi at Health Impact News puts it in the context of the treaty.
He says, Trump lies to the world as crippling an illegal 25% tariffs forced on Canada and Mexico through emergency orders are violating Trump's own free trade agreement, the one that he was so excited about, the USMCA. And I look it up, and the Senate actually ratified the USMCA. Can you believe it?
And yet, he ignores the Senate-ratified treaty of the USMCA. And I didn't like the USMCA. I didn't agree with it.
I don't like NAFTA. I didn't like USMCA. And I said USMCA was basically just a rebranding with a couple of side deals, and we should not be doing that.
And look, I've always said...
That I think that collecting taxes through tariffs instead of the income tax is a good thing.
It's just not going to happen.
And there's no path that he's going to try to do to get there.
Because what he's doing is deliberate disruption.
It's deliberate.
They can't be this stupid.
Sorry.
That's my take.
Nobody can be this stupid.
Everybody sees what's going on, I think.
Except for the MAGA people, who are in a trance.
It's a Kool-Aid cult.
But everybody else understands what was going to be happening with this, especially businessmen.
And Trump's a businessman.
And so he knows what's going to be happening.
But look, when it comes to the USMCA, and like I said, I don't like NAFTA, didn't like USMCA, I opposed all those.
The idea that we would have our trade determined by arbitration between corporations and governments and all, it was a mess, first of all.
Secondly, I think that it was a good thing to have taxes.
You've got to have taxes somewhere, I guess.
But you need to have a government that is the size Trump likes to talk about, how wonderful the American economy was in the late 1800s.
Well, it wasn't because of the tax structure.
It was because the government wasn't spending so much money.
It didn't have a lot of regulations.
Cut government spending.
Cut the regulations and you'll get it, regardless of how you do the taxes.
But I don't like the income tax.
I said it many times.
Of all the different ways that we could do a tax, I think that's the worst way that we could do the tax.
And I would support any other form of taxation.
But the big problem has always been, how do we switch from one form to the other without getting both?
And in the past, until Trump, until the Trump delusion, people would always say, Okay, that's a nice idea, but unless you've got a path for how to get from this to that, I'm not going to go there because we're going to wind up with both, and that's what we're going to get because of Trump delusion.
And so I find it interesting that the USMCA was ratified by the Senate, and he's going to ignore it.
Whereas the Paris Climate Accord was not ratified, and he has pretended that it was and followed it to the letter.
In his first four years, well, I can't get out.
My hands are tied.
I've got to wait for four years to get out.
And now he says, I want to get out of it again, but I've got to wait for a year to get out of it.
We were never in it, but we were in the USMCA. Like it or hate it, it was ratified by the Senate.
The Paris Climate Accord was never ratified, and he pretends that it is binding on him, and the one that he pushed, he bragged about, and he got ratified.
He's throwing it to the curb.
This guy cares nothing about the rule of law.
Nothing.
And so, the reason, the reason that he gave for all of this stuff, quote, he said, I'm invoking the International Emergency Economics Power Act.
I-E-E-P-A. The extraordinary threat, because of the extraordinary threat posed by illegal aliens and drugs, including fentanyl.
Why didn't he do it in his first term?
And so Brian Chalavi says, well, this is actually the first time I've read about illegal aliens and drugs coming across the border from Canada.
It's not even a thing.
And he said, I looked up the stats on seized illegal fentanyl coming into the U.S. in 2024. He said there were about 21,000 pounds.
I said earlier 20,000.
It's 21,000.
21,000 pounds of illegal fentanyl.
Seized at the U.S. border, by the way, there is legal fentanyl.
Fentanyl was created by the pharmaceutical companies, as Brian Shalhavi points out.
And, you know, they don't like foreign competition, evidently.
21,000 pounds of illegal fentanyl seized at U.S. borders, and out of 21,000 pounds, 50,000 pounds came from, I'm sorry, 50 pounds, not 50,000, 50 pounds out of 21,000.
In other words, as I said before, 0.2%.
The other 99.8% is not from Canada.
There's no massive fentanyl industry coming out of Canada.
And he says in his official order here about the so-called emergency, another phony emergency addressed by another phony executive order.
This guy doesn't change, folks.
It's Groundhog Day.
He's got you, babe.
A recent study recognized Canada's heightened domestic production of fentanyl.
They got up to 50 pounds.
Somebody.
And its growing footprint within international narcotics distribution.
Come on.
This is from the country that invaded Afghanistan, America.
Invaded Afghanistan.
What do we do?
We guarded the poppy fields.
The Taliban was shutting them down.
We guarded the poppy fields.
And the Afghanistan supply of opioids went from about 10% to over 90% of the world's supply as we guarded it with our military.
And Geraldo Rivera even did a report on that.
He's been quiet about that ever since.
I played that report many times.
And then America is also the country that created crack cocaine to fund their secret wars in South America.
And as a matter of fact, we're the ones who have pushed the U.N. war on drugs.
And yes, folks, it is a U.N. war on drugs.
Richard Nixon became the face of the drug war when he called it a drug war and when he enacted the stuff there.
But where did all these four schedules come from?
They all came from the UN. Richard Nixon, when he declared the war on drugs, was enacting a UN agenda.
The schedules that we have, where they put all the different drugs in the different schedules.
Schedule 1. No medical use.
Highly addictive is what they say for Schedule 1. Marijuana was there.
And, you know, they put all the drugs, and they just handed him his homework, and he enacted it.
And, folks, we see this all the time.
We see this with presidents, Democrat and Republican.
We see it with Congress.
We see it with state legislators.
State legislators, for example, on the Republican side, they'll go to the American Legislative Exchange Council, ALEC. And it's a nice vacation that they get.
You know, it's kind of like the vacations that the pharmaceutical companies give the doctors to get them to push the drugs.
Well, they give these vacations to these Republican legislators at ALEC, A-L-E-C. And they hand them legislation.
Just like the UN handed this legislation to Richard Nixon and said, here, enact this.
And they go back and they put the name of the state at the top and they sign it at the bottom and they turn in their homework.
This is my bill.
It's not your bill.
You're a shill.
Notice how Trump's threat to impose a 60% tariff against China has now been reduced to 10%, says Brian Shulhavi, while allies to the U.S. And members of Trump's own free trade agreement got hit much worse.
He not only ignored his USMCA, but he ignored it with prejudice.
Giving these trading partners that he had a treaty with, giving them a worse deal than even China.
Unless this emergency order is challenged in court, says Brian, and stopped by a judge before it is supposed to be implemented on Tuesday this week, The impact on the U.S. economy will be swift and potentially devastating.
Some dissent is already showing up among Republicans.
Well, Susan Collins, Republican in name only.
She said certain tariffs will impose a significant burden on many families, manufacturers of forest products, industries, small businesses, lobstermen, agricultural producers, she said.
And, of course, she's in Maine, and they get a substantial amount of their fuel from Canada.
Evidently.
China, Mexico, and Canada account for roughly 40% of U.S. imports.
Canada supplied 60% of crude oil imports to the U.S. in 2023. And so, you're going to have 60% of our imports are going to have a 25% tariff put on top of them.
That's going to be a pretty big shock to the system.
Yeah.
Oh, OPEC and those.
Arabs.
Look at what they did.
And they did.
Now, is anybody going to say that about Trump?
I will.
The same guy that was dancing with the Saudis when he had the occultic globe they're putting their hands on.
He's dancing with a sword and all this kind of stuff.
He's acting like OPEC now.
He's going to put a 25% tariff on 60% of our energy.
The auto industry may have the most to lose.
I've said this over and over again as well.
Cars and parts cross the border multiple times, potentially exposing them to tariffs that could raise the cost.
That's what I said before.
I said it is a stealth tax, first of all, putting it into the products so that you don't really know.
But when you have something like this, especially with Mexico and Canada, and that's what I think this is really about.
I think this is really about...
A massive increase in taxes while he's telling everybody, but I'm going to take the taxes off of tips.
And what he's doing is he's putting in a stealth tax that's really a value-added tax.
Every time these products go back and forth on the border, this tax is going to be added to him.
That's what he says.
The imposition of tariffs at each stage of fabrication would be disastrous.
It says this article from the Trade Partnership Worldwide.
They said, I'm sorry, that's from the Wall Street Journal.
Mexico and Canada have spent decades integrating auto operations with factories near the borders for parts and final assembly of vehicles.
And again, the Ambassador Bridge, that was where the shutdown happened during the COVID protests.
Going back and forth to Detroit over that bridge.
So they've been putting up these operations on either side of the border for quite some time.
Last year, Mexico supplied the U.S. with nearly 43% of imported motor vehicle body parts through November.
Canada sent over 25%, according to research, from trade partnership worldwide.
Nearly every major automaker would be impacted.
More than 40% of Volkswagens sold in the U.S. originate from Mexico or Canada.
Honda Motors, Stellantis, Nissan, General Motors also have above average industry exposure, said the Wall Street Journal.
So, for products such as automobiles, with complex supply chains for components that often cross borders multiple times, the effective tariff hikes could be even greater and will add to price pressures.
Well, we all know that's going to happen.
Except that's not what you're going to hear from the MAGA people.
Brian Shalhavi says, As a small business owner in the food industry myself for the past 25 years, I can truly say that these tariffs are not, if they're not stopped quickly, we will see massive economic unrest.
For example, for years now, we have carried a very high quality whole cane sugar that we import from Colombia.
Most of the cane sugar grown in the U.S. is from South Florida.
And grown by rich sugar barons.
And in recent years, most of the sugar grown in the U.S. comes from sugar beets, not from cane sugar.
And most of the sugar beets grown in the U.S. are GMO varieties, heavily sprayed with herbicides and pesticides, which my company would never sell.
We have had a container of panela sugar from Colombia en route since late 2024. But after Trump's recent tirade against Colombia and his threats to impose tariffs, our container has now been held up in customs, and we have no idea when or if it'll be released.
We did get our heirloom corn from small-scale Mexican farmers cleared through customs earlier this month.
Fortunately, as we've never been able to find North American corn that can test free of herbicides like glyphosate, Or test-free from GMO contamination.
And they're really pushing on Mexico to get them to kowtow to this and to sell the Monsanto, now bare, garbage.
If these tariffs persist, he said, food prices are absolutely going to skyrocket very quickly and within a month or so, everything Americans buy in retail stores like Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, and many other places are going to dramatically increase.
And as for the fentanyl crisis in the U.S., this was started by the inventor of fentanyl, Paul Janssen, in 1959, which is now a division of Johnson& Johnson, which, along with Pfizer, are the largest producers of fentanyl in the U.S. It is no coincidence that these same two drug companies that produce fentanyl in the U.S. are also two of the same companies that Trump awarded billions of dollars to in 2020 in order to develop so-called The
fentanyl crisis in the U.S. was started by Big Pharma, not illegal versions coming across the borders.
Getting the illegal versions off the streets will undoubtedly increase the sale of fentanyl from U.S. pharmaceutical companies, whom Trump loves.
And folks, if we just look at the war on drugs, fentanyl is a good example, as I've said many times.
When you look at prohibition, what happened with alcohol prohibition?
People went from drinking beer and wine to drinking hard liquor.
Some of it manufactured in very dangerous hard liquor because they didn't do it right.
And it created organized crime.
And that's what prohibition always does.
It always creates more intense versions of what it is they're trying to prohibit.
But then it also corrupts law enforcement.
It corrupts the courts.
And that's what we're seeing now.
We're seeing more intense versions of what they claim they want to ban.
Except the reality is...
They don't want to ban it.
We're growing.
You know, when we were in Afghanistan, we were supplying it.
We created crack cocaine, and the crack cocaine epidemic was supplied by the CIA and the American government.
And the whole thing is a U.N. agenda.
Wake up!
In 2020, just as the COVID scan was being rolled out, CBS show 60 Minutes produced an investigative report that proved to Americans that the fentanyl crisis in the U.S. was produced and controlled by corrupt pharmaceutical industry, exposing their criminal activities and how they deliberately bribed doctors to prescribe fentanyl with the intent to get Americans addicted in order to increase sales while knowing full well that it would destroy the lives of their patients.
It's a more intense form of opioids.
But it's the same thing, the same play being made by the same companies that gave us the opioid crisis.
And so he talks about fentanyl and the 50 pounds out of 21,000 pounds coming out of Canada.
But unfortunately, you know, a painkiller like fentanyl created by Big Pharma, Trump is saying that Americans could feel pain, not because he's going to take away fentanyl and the drugs from Big Pharma, because he knows what it's going to do to our country.
And let me just ask you this.
Does this sound familiar?
Does this sound like what Biden was saying when he went after oil and when he started imposing his green agenda?
He said, oh yeah, it's going to be painful, and I don't care, basically, because we've got to get to this other place.
And that's exactly what Trump is saying.
Trump has got an agenda as well.
And he doesn't care if we feel the pain.
He's not going to be feeling the pain.
None whatsoever.
And of course, Bill Clinton...
I feel your pain.
Well, he didn't feel our pain either.
None of these guys ever feel our pain.
Well, I've been going on for almost an hour.
I didn't realize it was going on this long.
I need to take a break.
And so we're going to take a quick break and we will be right back.
MUSIC
PLAYS MUSIC CONTINUES
MUSIC CONTINUES
Liberty.
It's your move.
Music And now, The David Knight Show.
All right, and some of the comments here.
DG8, thank you for the tip.
Says, David Trump has collapsed the crypto market.
He will crash the stock market, and his cult says this has to happen.
Wow.
Well, yeah, we'll see what happens with this stuff.
I know, I don't know what's going to happen with the crypto stuff.
But...
When we look at this, I know what happens when you add taxes.
That's not a neat theory.
He also says David Trump wants to crash the Canadian economy to force them to join the country.
That's the strangest thing, isn't it?
You know, again, you look at this, and like a lot of the people in businesses, all this stuff about tariffs and everything, it's just a threat.
And I don't know.
I mean, he seems to be truly insane.
A lot of this stuff.
And he has set his sights on Greenland, on Panama, on Canada.
It's just amazing.
Like I said, who would...
If he'd done this before the election, assuming that you have an election, and I'm not convinced.
I'm convinced exactly the opposite.
I don't trust elections anymore, but still.
He didn't want to talk about that ahead of time.
He says, I want no part of 35-plus million liberal Canadians voting.
That's right.
This will destroy any chance of conservatives winning again.
Don't you think that's his main purpose, though?
I think it's his main purpose.
Look, Trump is a New York Democrat, friend of Hillary, friend of Jeffrey Epstein.
Always was, always will be, folks.
He's from that area.
And all of this is just a facade.
I mean, look at Elon Musk.
It was just a couple of years ago that he's doing 10-minute presentations on how we're all going to die from climate change.
So buy my car.
IRS Machine Gun, good to see you there.
And thank you so much for the tip, but also for the picture, which I don't know how I was going to show it to people, that I think that was from you.
And the picture of Jimmy Stewart.
He knows I like Jimmy Stewart, knows that I like Shenandoah, and it's a picture of Jimmy Stewart from Shenandoah, and he's got that scowl on his face.
He was not just a character actor like a lot of the people at that time, especially in the westerns.
He had a wide range of characters, and he played a real curmudgeon in Shenandoah, but with a good reason.
He was not happy with the Civil War for some reason.
I don't know.
He wound up killing members of his family.
But thank you for the tip.
He says he's going to double down on taxes like he's playing a hand of blackjack at one of his bankrupt casinos.
DG8 says, David, we're in no position to absorb Canadian debt.
$45 million on government health care.
This really seems to be the actions of a lunatic.
His base has lost common sense.
Trusting the plan.
Yeah, trust is the plan.
They get you to trust him unconditionally, and he can execute the plan of the globalists, telling you that he is an anti-globalist.
S.A. Miller, one, two, three.
Trump is setting the country up to bankrupt to the people, forcing them.
And look, like I said, remember before the election?
I said, this next president is going to take us right up to 2029. And that's when they expect to have their, you know.
Sustainable development goals in, and their great reset in, and all the rest of the stuff.
I said, it's going to be chaotic, and boy, look at this.
Hit the ground running with chaos.
A wrecking ball just landed.
Forcing them to be dependent on the government, making it easier to bottleneck them into 15-minute cities, own nothing, and like it.
No.
He says, no, I don't want them.
Branscom says, Trump...
It was against Bitcoin, and now he's for Bitcoin.
Watch him push digital ID. And like I said the other day, they're even talking, though, now.
This is what the AI is for.
They don't need you to acquiesce to digital ID. They can do it with surveillance cameras that they put everywhere, and they've already got them.
And it's a public-private partnership, the Flock system.
So a company that is putting these things everywhere and creating a database.
And just so happens that they hand it over to the government.
And that's the way they always run this stuff.
It's the way they run censorship.
Through the internet, through social media.
Well, we're not doing it.
It's a private company that's doing it.
So it's okay.
No.
No.
But that's the game that they play.
And so they're saying, well, we're not doing the surveillance.
It's actually, and we're not creating the database on everybody.
It's actually a private company, Flock.
Do you understand why the flock is happening here?
So that's the way it's going to roll out.
And when they combine that with AI, they've got you with biometric ID. And they don't need you to opt in.
They don't need you to accept a digital ID or whatever.
It might be a spiritual requirement for these people to get your permission.
But they'll do it one way or the other, by hook or by crook.
Trump Burger.
If diesel fuel goes up, then everything will go up with it.
And it will go up.
I mean, it's not just, you know, we bring in the oil.
It's not just used for gasoline.
It's used for diesel as well.
It depends on how they refine it.
And so it all is going to go up.
Jason Barker.
Good to see you, Jason.
Knights of the Storm says, I've been saying the same, David.
Tariffs only make sense to help American businesses which barely exist anymore.
Deregulation makes more sense, but a lot of that also comes at the state levels.
I agree.
Yeah, you're right.
OctoSpook.
Unless removed, these increased costs are all going to happen in the next two weeks.
So be prepared.
Yeah.
Stock up on toilet paper.
Whatever you can get.
Guard Goldsmith.
Good to see you, Guard.
Liberty Conspiracy.
Rockfin and Twitter.
He says, a level of economic ignorance and false patriotism, even as MAGA, don't question the tariffs coming from executive orders, is stunned.
That's right.
Yeah, that's the other thing about it.
It's all executive orders.
It's all emergency stuff.
Same as the pandemic lockdown.
Dustin Helm.
Winning sometimes looks like losing.
We have to lose in order to win.
It's all 4D chess.
Yeah, just keep repeating that.
It's 4D chess.
4D chess.
I mean, people do.
People, I still see that stuff out there that Alex was kicking off.
It's amazing.
PA Patriot 14, Pennsylvania Patriot, I guess.
David, tariffs will show how bad the economy is.
Well, it'll make it a lot worse, too.
We would not be able to survive without these other countries getting free trade into our country.
It's time to start buying American.
I agree.
And, you know, it's just really difficult.
It's really difficult to do it.
And, you know, it is, I saw recently a product that I was looking at and people were making, and their product was really good quality, but it's higher priced, and, you know, and it's still a hard sale for them.
You know, it's made in America, better quality, and they talked about all the different components that went into it, and we get this from there and that from there and all these places in America.
And it's a tough sell because, you know, people just sometimes don't have the money.
So either they won't buy it or, you know, if they don't want to buy, if they only want to buy American, then maybe sometimes the option is, well, I just can't afford that, so I won't buy it or whatever.
It's a difficult hole that we have dug for ourselves, isn't it?
And again, I think the way that we get out of all of this stuff is to demand deregulation.
They're giving us...
A false solution.
In other words, they create a problem, and then they come up with their solution, right?
That's the way it always operates.
The situation that we've got of dying American industries and how they're all gone, and I know because I lived in North Carolina.
I saw the textile industry gone, the furniture industry pretty much gone, the pork industry bought by the Chinese and all the rest of this stuff.
And at this point, what do we do about it?
Well, they could get the regulations off and help Americans with that.
And that would be legitimate.
That would be a legitimate thing to do.
Just stop with the chains.
Trump Burger.
So wait, we need to pay more tax because fentanyl is killing our population?
That's the logic, yeah.
Wally Walrus.
There's absolutely no way the CIA is involved in the fentanyl trade.
That would be inconceivable.
Sarcasm there, I'm sure.
M Sellers.
My husband works in auto, and this is what he does.
Many Canadian and Mexican individual parts coming and going for each car and truck manufacturer and vehicle, and it will be a mess.
It'll be a mess, and it'll be a stacked-up tax.
I've said for the longest time, when you look at what happens in Europe, the value-added tax, It's hidden from the consumers.
They don't understand why everything there is so expensive.
As I pointed out, when we went to Europe, we would look at the price of stuff and it's like, I wouldn't be able to buy any of these electronics if we had that much tax on them.
And it was all tariffs and VAT stuff.
And they didn't understand why their stuff was so expensive.
And we're going to have that with the parts going back and forth, back and forth.
It's going to be just cumulative tax added.
25% every time it crosses the border.
Add another 25% to it.
And it's going to have a much bigger effect than I think even many of these people in the business community are saying.
By the way, these are some tips from the end of the Friday show that didn't get a shout-out.
Flower Sower, thank you very much for the tip.
Sent prayers also for the family for whole and speedy healing.
And I've got to say, I thank all of you so much for the prayers, but also for the support that we had.
But first, the prayers for Karen and healing.
She was feeling much better yesterday than she has felt for the last two weeks.
She's had a rough couple of weeks, broke her ankle, and was injured in a number of other ways, too, with her fall down the hill.
Her knee and her hip and things like that.
And then within a couple of days of that, and she's still in excruciating pain, she had to have an emergency tooth extraction.
And so over the weekend, she's started to feel better.
And I really do appreciate your prayers.
But I want to say to everybody, and I think we updated the gas gauge today.
We were able to, I was able to get out this weekend and get to the post office.
And I want to thank everyone for helping us to get to the goal that we had this month.
And we had, I guess, maybe about two and a half, well, two weeks, two weeks of things in the mail.
And I've got a list of people here that I want to, I think.
And that got us there.
So I want to really thank you for your prayers and for your support.
It means so much to us.
Thank you.
On Friday, Shea Bishop, we didn't get that, and thank you for the tip.
He said, have a good weekend.
Thank you.
Stealth Patriot, thank you for the tip.
He writes, oil prices go up or down based on a projection of demand and availability.
I haven't noticed oil prices going down.
They must not believe Trump when he says, drill, baby, drill.
Yeah, it's funny.
There seems to be something of a ratchet effect on that, doesn't it?
It goes up, but it doesn't necessarily go down that much.
And so what Trump is saying, in all uppercase, screaming on social media, will there be some pain?
Yes, maybe.
And maybe not.
But we will make America great again, and it will all be worth the price it must be paid.
So tell us what it is.
I mean, at least from Biden, we knew that the pain that we had to go through was so that we could have a future with no cars and no appliances and things like that, right?
That was his future.
We had to go through the pain so we could have poverty.
What is Trump's vision?
Make America great again.
What does that even mean?
Does that mean that we get double the taxation?
Does that make America great again?
His administration has not said what specific improvements would need to be seen in terms of stopping illegal immigration or the smuggling of fentanyl to merit the removal of tariffs that Trump imposed.
Exactly.
He never said, do this, I'm going to impose tariffs.
Because he wanted to impose the tariffs.
End of story.
There wasn't any, if you don't do X, I'm going to impose tariffs.
He never gave anybody, and he doesn't have any conditions for when this is going to end, either.
You see, a trade war can be just like a hot war, a physical war.
You can just start it over nebulous charges.
That's not fair.
I don't like those people.
Those people have taken advantage of us.
They're evil in that country and that type of thing.
And you can invade first.
And this is typically what you see with these types of wars.
Well, what is it that you want me to do?
I'll do it.
No.
And this is where we are with this.
We may have, in the short term, a little pain, and people understand that.
But long term, the United States has been ripped off by virtually every country in the world.
So we should have an economic war with every country in the world, right?
And the MAGA cult is cheering this.
It is a suicide Kool-Aid cult.
Despite Trump's assertions that the U.S. does not need Canada, one quarter of the oil that American consumers consume per day is from Canada.
He reiterated his false claim that America subsidizes Canada by running a trade imbalance.
We're subsidizing them by buying the oil that we need?
Come on.
Democrat.
Democrat.
Through and through.
A reflection and part of Canada's exporting energy to the U.S. Trump contended that without that surplus, quote, Canada ceases to exist as a viable country.
Harsh, but true, he said.
Therefore, Canada should become our cherished 51st state.
It's the time that we invoke the 25th Amendment against him.
I mean, you know, who is more dangerous?
This guy with his delusions of grandeur and his hidden agenda and his hidden taxes?
Or the bumbling idiot that's falling off the stage all the time?
This is just a beggar's belief.
It is so incredibly stupid.
An analysis.
By the budget lab at Yale shows that if tariffs were to continue, an average U.S. household would lose roughly $1,245 in income this year in what would be the overall equivalent of more than $1.4 trillion tax increase over the next 10 years.
Bingo!
Bingo!
It's a hidden tax increase.
He thinks it's going to help him with the deficit.
It'll be your pain, his gain, and his buddy's gain.
Larry Kudlow, who was a Trump advisor, 1.0, says tariffs could bring price increases for Americans.
Yeah, but it's a good thing.
It's a good thing when Trump does it.
I mean, you know, if it was price increases under Biden, I know it'd be a bad thing, but under Trump, it's good.
It's really good.
Wall Street Journal, the dumbest trade war fallout begins.
The dumbest trade war.
It reminds me of the mouse who roared, right?
Except there's no endgame that we're aware of that's at least in our advantage.
Trump conceded on Sunday that there may be some pain from his sweeping tariffs on Mexico and Canada, but they will eventually lead to a new, all uppercase, golden age.
Wall Street Journal says nice of him to promise a glorious future.
Because the pain is already unfolding and the tariffs won't even take effect until Tuesday.
Yeah.
Trump can't repeal the laws of economics any more than Joe Biden could on inflation.
The National Association of Manufacturers says the ripple effects will be severe, particularly for small and medium-sized manufacturers.
They're not essential.
Who cares, right?
So small and medium-sized businesses, you've got to get rid of them.
Whether you're talking about...
Democrats or Republicans?
You know, when you had Liz Warren, oh, I'm going to protect consumers financially, right?
And her Consumer Financial Protection Board put the small and medium-sized banks out of business.
So we only have to deal with, you know, a few gigantic banks that give her money.
So, small and medium-sized manufacturers that lack the flexibility of the capital to rapidly find alternative suppliers or to absorb skyrocketing energy costs, you know, This was something that came up when Hillary Clinton was pushing her government takeover of health care.
And you remember when she says, well, I can't be bothered by every undercapitalized small business.
That was her version of, you know, Trump just cuts it to the chase.
He says, you're not essential, right?
You don't have enough capital to buy a place at the table with Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, so you're not essential.
We don't care what happens to you.
You got any money to give me?
Come on, pay up.
It's a protection racket.
That's what government is.
That's why these people are, each candidate now, getting more than a billion dollars running through their campaign.
It's not only an advanced auction of stolen goods, but now you've got people like Anthony Fauci.
And I had a listener who sent me an announcement of Fauci going out and doing speaking engagements.
Well, an election might be an advance auction of stolen goods, but you know when the payment comes is after they get out and they start doing these speaking tours.
That's what we've seen with all of these people.
Hillary Clinton, Fauci, all of them.
They go out and do these tours.
You pay excessive amounts of money for their words of wisdom.
No, this is the payoff for what they gave you.
These businesses employing millions of American workers, these small and medium-sized businesses.
We'll face significant disruptions.
Ultimately, manufacturers will bear the brunt of these tariffs, undermining our ability to sell products at a competitive price and putting American jobs at risk, as happened when he did this seven years ago, 2018. Deeply concerned that U.S. tariffs on imported spirits from Canada and Mexico will significantly harm all three countries, says the Distilled Spirits Council.
As well as the Mexican Chamber of Commerce and the Spirits of Canada.
Spirits.
Call it spirits.
I always thought that was funny.
It does get to your spirit, doesn't it?
And all that alcohol.
But still, it's a business for them, and they understand what's going to happen with their business.
All wars do this.
Trade wars as well.
When we talk about our economy...
This is an economy that is increasingly leveraged on debt.
This article from Zero Hedge points out that it took $5.8 in debt to generate $1 of U.S. quote-unquote growth in the fourth quarter of 2024. We have become a debtor nation.
We have become addicted to debt.
And when you look at it, they say, well, look at this.
Our GDP kept increasing.
Well, to get a dollar of increase, we have to spend almost six dollars of debt.
I mean, it's just amazing.
It's a credit card economy.
The problem is what funded this growth in the U.S., the source of all growth is, and has been for the past 100 years, debt.
And boy, was quarter four a doozy, says Zero Hedge.
It's not just quarter four, either.
Extending this analysis to all of 2024, we find an almost identical pattern in the full year of 2024. U.S. GDP, gross domestic product, grew by $570 billion, which was made possible by a near-record $2 trillion increase in the budget deficit.
Funded by a mammoth $2.2 trillion increase in the debt.
And so for the full year, even though the fourth quarter, it's accelerating, right?
And this death spiral that the economy is in.
Again, as I say, get out of this debt economy.
Start putting some money in the gold standard.
Your own gold standard.
You can't get these people to act responsibly.
But anything that you can get out of their system is a big help.
And again, davidknight.gold will take you to Tony Arderman.
And Tony can get you from gold to Bitcoin or the other way that I would go if I had Bitcoin.
From Bitcoin to gold without a fee.
So when you look at this, you can't get these people to act responsibly, but you can do something on your own.
And you can start to get out of their dollar system and their debt system by buying gold and silver.
Tony can help you do that on a gradual basis.
He's the only one that I know of that's got something like Wolfpack where you can sign up each month to set aside a fixed amount.
The bottom line is that in quarter four, it took $6 to create $1 of growth.
For the whole year, it took $3.9 in debt to generate a dollar in growth.
In 2023, it was 3.6.
So it went up from 2023, but it really accelerated.
It went from like $4 of debt to create $1 of quote-unquote growth.
It went up from that to $6 to create $1 of growth.
What this means is that the only hope the U.S. ever has to grow is to issue debt, or rather to issue lots and lots of debt.
So, good luck to Trump and Elon and Doge if they hope to slow down the fire hose of U.S. debt issuance.
So, again, is this part of their plan?
A massive stealth VAT? Do they call it tariff?
Is that why he's focused on Mexico and Canada so much?
Because that's where the bulk of the trade is, and it's where things are going back and forth, so you get this multiplying effect?
That's my guess.
That's my guess.
Well, we're going to take a break, and when we come back, we're going to talk about the revolution that gave us the income tax, the revolution in government powers and structures, and what kind of a revolution is being put in place right now.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
And Zoxo Voxov says, tariffs are safe and effective.
If it's painful, you know they're working.
And if you get the financial equivalent of Guillain-Barre and autism, you know it's good for the economy and we're making America great again.
Matthew Ronson, thank you very much for the tip.
I appreciate that.
So let's talk.
This is an interesting article from Jeffrey Tucker at Brownstone.
And he says, so, replace the income tax with tariffs?
Yeah, of course, we can have this discussion.
And I played for you the clip of Dan Bongino.
I would agree with him and just fantasize what it would be like to have no income tax.
And I've been talking about that for decades.
I remember when we would talk about that at the Libertarian Party.
And I talked to the press, and you guys are nuts.
It's like, well, you know, we should at least dream.
But these people today seriously believe that Trump is going to do this, that this is the plan.
It is not the plan.
It is not the plan.
But what Jeffrey Tucker says about the income tax, he said, there was a time before 1913 when you could keep every penny that you earned.
You didn't have to file reports with the federal government telling them what you earned and giving the feds their cut.
Your finances were your business and nobody else's.
You had the right to earn, own, and keep property.
And it was sacrosanct, guaranteed by U.S. law and tradition.
Imagine that.
If you didn't have to file a complicated return and self-incriminate on all of this stuff.
But, you know, just the reporting requirements.
As I said before, it was always more important to the U.S. government to get that information about you than even the money.
They don't care about the debt, folks.
Come on.
Can we just put that aside?
The only time the government cares about the deficit is when it comes to taxes.
They're talking about it now because they want to raise your taxes.
And Bernie Sanders will talk about it if somebody talks about cutting your taxes somewhere.
We can't.
We're looting the treasury, right?
Trump doesn't care.
He wanted to take the ceiling off of the debt for two years.
He doesn't care.
They don't care except When it comes to taxes, because taxes are the power to destroy your life so that they can control you better.
There are no audits.
Imagine that there's no income tax, and there'd be no audits, no investigations, no account freezes, no withholdings, no other forms of payment.
There was your productivity and you, and that's all.
Just imagine.
We talk about regulation.
You know, deregulating all the reporting and all the other stuff and having to hire accountants and the rest of this.
How was the government funded at that time?
Well, it earned revenue through tariffs.
And the government was small enough to do that.
Jeffrey Tucker says, back in those days, however, the federal government barely existed compared with today.
More precisely, in real terms, the federal government in 1885 spent in inflation-adjusted dollars About 0.05% of what it spends today.
The government...
It was five one-hundredths of a percent the size of the federal government today.
See, that's the ultimate problem.
It isn't that we are being ripped off by Canada or Mexico.
We're getting ripped off by D.C. We're getting ripped off by Washington.
Washington is the enemy.
That's why Trump is pointing to Canada and to Mexico.
They're the ones who are stealing from us.
Trump says, oh, 1885, it was great.
And Jeffrey Tucker says, yeah, it was great.
Why was it great?
Well, because we didn't have the income tax and we didn't have repressive taxation from the government because it was five one-hundredths of a percent the size of what it is today.
I mean, it was almost like CO2 in the atmosphere.
Not a problem.
CO2 is not a problem.
A government that size is not a problem.
Even then, people believed that it was too big, though, and they wanted to cut it back to size.
Trump has explained how this period of American history saw the greatest amount of economic growth we've ever seen.
And he's right about that.
And he is also correct that this was the period of the tariff.
However, The cause and effect is murky, says Jeffrey Tucker.
The main themes of this period were freedom and sound money.
The dollar was governed by the gold standard, and there was no central bank.
And again, you're not going to be able to get the government to go back to being fiscally responsible and downsize.
But what you can do is you can return to the gold standard to some extent by owning gold yourself.
Trump has explained that the income tax came along in 1913 as a replacement for the tariffs.
That's right, in design.
But he says the historical reality was slightly different because tariffs were not abolished entirely, you see.
So they had...
They had a small government, small taxation, and they didn't have an income tax.
And what did they do in 1913?
Besides creating the Federal Reserve, they added the income tax, and they added the income tax.
They didn't replace the tariffs.
So now what Trump is doing is, he's not replacing the income tax, he's adding more tariffs.
Why?
Because...
Nobody wants to cut the size of government.
Trump is always looking about how he can expand.
He wants to expand the government into our lives.
He wants to expand our government into Greenland, into Panama, and into Canada even.
Who in their right mind would want that in those three countries?
Tariffs are not abolished.
You just added the income tax to it.
And so now we're going to keep the income tax and we're going to add massive tariffs.
At all stages of production.
Now that we've got things crossing the border back and forth, we're going to keep adding that.
You know, when they had the tariff back then, products were not going back and forth between Canada and Mexico and the United States.
And so it didn't have that multiplying effect then either.
The income tax and the federal and the Fed became a financial source of the Leviathan power.
Both of those came about in 1913, along with the direct election of senators, and it blew up the bicameral structure of Congress, and it put the big cities in charge of America's equivalent of the House of Lords.
Trump's history lesson opens up the opportunity to examine all of this more closely.
Let me just say, instead of saying the House of Lords, the Senate was there to preserve the power of the state as a check.
Against the power of the federal government.
People founded this country were so wise in the ways of foolish men who want power that not only, you know, we're taught now in school, oh, well, we have checks and balances, which, again, don't exist.
But we have checks and balances within the federal government.
We have the judicial, the executive, the legislative branches.
Well, that's true.
But they also wanted to check the power of the federal government as an entity.
So they were so concerned about consolidation of power in Washington, which is what we got with Lincoln's war and the rest of the stuff, and the Federal Reserve.
They were so concerned about that, that they divided the federal government powers, checks and balances, and then they put in, left in, checks and balances with the 9th and 10th Amendment between the states.
And the federal government and the people and the federal government.
What balance do the people have?
Is it a ballot box?
Well, you know, that's only one of the things.
And all the people who are so upset about rigged elections and rigged ballot boxes.
Maybe that'd be one of the things that could come out of the J6ers.
Maybe they could be concerned about the jury box.
Because that's even more rigged than the ballot boxes, quite frankly.
Many people said that the checks on the government power comes out of three sources, right?
The ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.
Well, the jury box is completely destroyed.
And so if J6 wants to do something about these kangaroo courts and these corrupt judges and stuff, rather than just...
Demanding that these specific people be fired, you need to have some structural changes, and that means that we need to make people aware of the laws and the traditions about jury nullification.
And it's in the Constitution of many of the states that the jury has the right to judge not just the facts of the case, but the law, as well as its application, as well as what kind of penalties are attached to it.
If those penalties are excessive, or they believe that they're going to be excessively applied, they nullify it.
So, you know, we need to understand that when he talks about the fact that 1913, we've got the Federal Reserve, we've got the income tax, the direct election of senators, what that did was that destroyed, to a large degree, the power of the states.
But what was even more damaging to the power of the states was the financial bribery and blackmail that I talk about all the time.
That's what Trump was doing.
That's what Biden's doing.
They all do it.
But that's what Trump is doing with the pandemic lockdown.
He says, Trump's history lesson opens up with an opportunity to examine all of this more closely in 19th century terms.
He seems to be siding with the Hamilton faction that was inherited by Henry Clay.
This is a policy of protective tariffs, of a national bank, and of federal subsidies for internal improvements.
To promote economic growth and national cohesion, Andrew Jackson despised Henry Clay with a passion.
Of course, he also hated the Central Bank, and he killed the Central Bank.
He regretted that he didn't kill Henry Clay, I think, but he was able to kill the Central Bank, and we have to kill these institutions.
The Clay view contrasted with the Jeffersonian view, which favored a tiny government, free trade, no national bank, no industrial subsidies, and a society of small farmers to serve as the economic engine.
Boy, are they trying to kill the small farmers now.
These debates these days between the Jeffersonians and Hamiltonians seem to be far less relevant to the current situation.
Both Hamilton and Clay would be appalled by the size and scope of government power, and they would happily link arms with Jefferson and John Randolph of Roanoke to cut the beast down to size, and I would say Andrew Jackson as well.
But that's the reality of where we are.
So he says, so let's return to this idea of abolishing the income tax.
The best case for that ever written was from a great journalist, he says.
This is Jeffrey Tucker.
Named Frank Kordorov.
1887-1966.
His wonderful book, The Income Tax, Root of All Evil.
And he wrote about the 16th Amendment to the Constitution.
He says, it puts no limit on governmental confiscation.
The government can, under the law, take everything the citizen earns, even to the extent of depriving him of all above mere subsistence.
It gives the government a prior lien on all property produced by its subjects.
In short, when this amendment became part of the Constitution in 1913, the absolute right of property in the United States was violated.
And then we have the property taxes that pay for the seminaries of Satan that we call public schools.
In name, it was tax reform, but in point of fact, it was a revolution, says this author, Kordorov.
For the 16th Amendment corroded the American concept of natural rights, ultimately reduced the American citizen to a status of subject, so much so that he's not aware of it, enhanced executive power to the point of reducing Congress to innocuity, and enabled the central government to bribe the states Once independent units into subservience.
You see?
He understands that.
And the MAGA people get so furious when you say Trump is bribing people for the lockdown.
They do it for everything.
If Obama's got one tranny policy and Trump's got a different tranny policy, they will both enforce their opposite policies by bribing or blackmailing people financially.
And they got that power.
From the Federal Reserve and from the income tax.
No kingship in the history of the world ever exercised more power than our presidency or had more of the people's wealth at its disposal.
We have retained the forms and the phrases of a republic, but in reality we're living under an oligarchy, not of courtesans, but of bureaucrats.
The abolition of the income tax would restore property rights.
Restore rights to enterprise.
And restore the privacy of American citizens not to be spied upon and pillaged by arbitrary government power.
Well, the right of people to not be spied upon.
The technocracy is taking care of that.
And we're about to see that explode.
Under, as one article called, Artificial Intelligence.
An immortal dictatorship.
That's what we risk.
Having set up with this stuff.
There's no getting around the math.
If we really are talking about getting rid of income taxes, there is no tariff high enough to make up the difference.
That's Jeffrey Tucker.
You know, but even with the income tax, and even with the income tax plus tariffs, we're still not going to even be close.
They'd have to take everything that we've got.
Because they're adding a trillion dollars, or actually a trillion and a half now, every 100 days.
Look, the Democrats and Trump are on record as saying that the deficits don't matter to them.
They're on record with not just what they're saying, but with what they're doing.
They show that the deficits don't matter to them.
Their actions are screaming at us that the deficits don't matter to them.
And yet we see this from this author, J.D. Rucker.
I couldn't believe this headline and this article.
It says, the tariff naysayers and the fear mongers will all be proven wrong because Trump is so genius.
It doesn't say Trump is so genius, but that's what the rest of his article says.
This guy and the people like him, J.D. Rucker, learned absolutely nothing from Trump 1.0.
Must have never learned anything in economics either.
And so this tariffism is kind of a terrorist.
All three countries, says J.D. Rucker, that are being tariffed could have done a great deal to help America in its battles against fentanyl and human trafficking if they cared at all about us.
Now they will be made to care.
You see?
This is the seriously idiotic, ugly face of populism.
The outside enemy.
And whatever we do to them is justified because, you know, Canada is flooding our country with 50 pounds of fentanyl out of 21,000 that came in.
So anything is on them.
This is tribal.
It is ignorant.
It is devoid of any understanding of economics or history or even current events.
And, of course, when we look at populism, And we look at, you know, the populist Republicans and the demagogue, Democrats, they absolutely despise individual rights, don't they?
And the rule of law, both of them.
I don't see any difference at all in the MAGA Republicans versus the Democrats, except their goals and what they want to achieve.
But when I say that they're exactly alike, I say that they're exactly alike in their contempt, their utter contempt.
For the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, just look at the Trump Republicans and how they want to kill the First Amendment for people that they don't like.
And we're seeing it's not just for Israel.
Yes, Israel is bribing them, paying them off to kill the First Amendment.
But it's also Trump as he's intimidating and suing CBS. Because he said, well, I don't like the report that you did on Lala Harris.
Well, tough.
Suck it up, big boy.
Who cares what you like or don't like?
You don't have the authority to intimidate the press and tell them to shut up.
He's a censor.
Do you understand how that's a censorship mentality?
He's no different than Theory Britain in the EU. Trump is a tyrant.
He hates freedom.
He's a populist.
That's the worst part of populism.
Is the fact that, well, our tribe wants this.
And your tribe is bad.
Your tribe's not as good as our tribe.
So we're justified to do anything that we want to to you.
And we're not going to be restrained by individual rights.
We're not going to be restrained by the law either.
So J.D. Rucker says, this is the art of the deal.
And it's going to work.
Oh, you think so, huh?
So he says, yeah, he says, so there's going to be three things that are going to happen from this, he says.
Number one.
He says, all three of these tariffed nations, these enemies of the state, Canada, Mexico, China, all three tariffed nations will be forced to take action against fentanyl, making it far more difficult to obtain in America.
This guy has absolutely no sense.
Of the war on drugs that's been going on for 50 years.
He's got no sense of what I was talking about earlier.
Richard Nixon, the UN, the CIA. Hey pal, we've met the enemy and he is us.
You know, the American government is not fighting a war of drugs.
They're fighting a war with drugs.
They're fighting against us.
They have gone to war with us with those drugs.
He says, number two, Canada and Mexico will be given a face-saving options.
What are the options?
Has Trump given them any options?
He didn't give them any options to avoid this.
And we still don't have any options as to how they get out of it, do we?
He's a bully.
He's like, I'm going to knock this thing.
Go ahead, knock this off my shoulder.
And if you don't knock it off my shoulder, I'm going to still hit you in the face.
Canada and Mexico will be given face-saving options that will aid them politically.
And save their economies before they collapse, as long as they play ball.
We've got power.
Yeah, we've got power.
We're going to do whatever we wish.
Number three, says J.D. Rucker, American companies will rapidly find suppliers in this nation to serve their needs, prompting more companies to build in America that can help to meet those needs.
Well, you know, maybe you're going to need to get some regulations off of them before they'll be able to move.
We're so locked down.
It's like Harrison Bergeron and Kurt Vonnegut.
We can't even move, let alone play tennis, right?
It's horrible that our friends, he says, the citizens of Canada and Mexico are going to suffer, but they're not blameless.
Hear this?
Hear this?
This delusion?
This demagoguery?
This us-versus-them tribalism of the populists?
They're not blameless.
Those people in Canada, they're not blameless at all.
They deserve everything they get.
And there's no sense of what the economic reality is and how it's going to blow back on us for people like J.D. Rucker.
Isn't that amazing?
I mean, it was in 2018, we went through this whole exercise once before with Trump, and he didn't learn anything, and he doesn't want to learn anything.
He says, for their sake and ours, Trump kicks aside Congress.
With sweeping claims of presidential power.
That's the other aspect of this.
Do you really want to cheer a dictatorship?
Trump says, I'm going to be a dictator on day one, but don't worry, it won't last too long.
Well, everything that he's doing is by executive order.
Do you really want to have a country that's run by executive order?
Because, look, the Congress long ago shut down.
They don't do anything.
Except...
To create a new program and kick it over to a bureaucracy or a new bureaucracy that they create to run the program.
That's it.
That's all they do.
They've abdicated all power.
So, of course, Trump's going to kick them aside.
They don't want to play ball anyway.
They don't want to do anything except hold show hearings on TV and accept bribes.
And laying out the checks and balances of democracy, writes Wall Street Journal.
Authors of the U.S. Constitution imagined that the President and the Congress would wrestle for power when their authority conflicted, each of them fighting for influence.
James Madison said, ambition must be made to counteract ambition.
But Congress doesn't have any ambition.
You know, they want to be on Fox News.
That's it.
That's their only ambition.
They don't have any ambition for us.
They don't have any ambition for the Constitution.
They don't have any ambition for the Bill of Rights either, do they?
And again, this is a GOP populism and a Democrat democracy.
They don't care about the rule of law.
They don't care about individual rights.
And so what they're doing is, you know, when you look at division of power, there's not really any division of power.
Congress has taken itself out completely, and they've been replaced by a bureaucracy that writes rules for us.
And those rules can be as draconian as they wish.
And they say, well, you don't have any due process, you don't have any presumption of innocence, you don't have any protection against excessive fines, because this is not done by Congress.
It's not a law.
It's a rule coming from us, and that's part of the reason of why they have done this.
And so Congress has long made itself subservient to the executive branch, to the judiciary, but especially subservient to the bureaucracy.
And they made you subservient to them as well.
Trump's ambition has been sweeping and muscular in the first days of his new term, producing less of a transition in government than a takeover.
Congress, by contrast, has all but forfeited the match.
Are they just now noticing this?
They have forfeited the match a long time ago, both Republicans and Democrats.
And then we have this situation about free speech that I think is typical.
Of the sense of bullying and entitlement that you see from Donald Trump.
The FCC is now demanding that CBS News turn over 60 Minutes interview amid Trump lawsuit.
They did a puff piece with Lala Harris.
Everybody knew it.
Everybody knew it.
And so, but Trump is furious.
And he wants revenge.
And so he has his new chairman of the FCC. Brendan Carr this week demanded CBS turn over the full unedited transcript of its 60 Minutes interview in October with Lala Harris, including film footage from different camera angles.
And so this is about rubbing their nose in it.
This is about you better not take sides against me or I'm going to come after you.
And I put this here.
Because I'm going to talk about what he's doing with the bureaucracy.
A lot of people are looking at this and cheering, and I think that we do need to remove these people that weaponize prosecutions against J6. I've said that for the longest time.
The people who are in the FBI and the CIA and the people who are in the judiciary, they need to be removed.
They need to be fired.
But we need to also look at structural reform of this.
But at the same time, understand that Trump's problem with all that...
It's not that they violated the Constitution or the Bill of Rights and the warfare.
His problem is that the warfare was against him.
That's his problem.
And that's what's involved here.
He's going to throw away the First Amendment.
He's more than willing to throw away the First Amendment for anything.
He'll throw it away for Israel.
They pay him money, and so the Republicans.
But he'll also throw it away just because he wants vengeance against these people.
The interview provoked the ire of Trump, who filed a lawsuit against CBS, alleging that the network was engaged in deceptive editing practices.
But now that he's president, he's going to weaponize the FCC. The FCC should not be about content.
The FCC should be about allocating frequency spectrums.
And, of course, the Democrats have always wanted to make it about content and make it about censorship.
And the Republicans would always say, no, no, let's just make it about managing the frequency spectrum.
Make sure that we auction off the frequencies and that these stations are not overstepping on other frequencies of other people at the same time.
But he wants to make it about content.
The FCC inquiry raises the stakes in the dispute, which has stoked fears that Trump and his team are using levers of power to chill, unflattering news coverage.
How is this any different, folks, than being kicked off of social media because you told the truth about the pandemic or the other stuff?
And that happened under Trump as well.
The Democrats openly embraced that, but now Trump is openly embracing censorship and control of information and news.
I don't like what you said about me.
What you said about the vaccines is not true, so I'm going to deperson you, I'm going to debank you, I'm going to kick you off of social media and that type of thing.
This is where this all goes.
And why is this happening right now?
Well, okay, so for the longest time, Paramount has been owned by the Redstone family.
Sumner Redstone was the one who bought it when we had our video business, and so I paid attention to all that stuff at that point in time.
So Paramount was...
He owned Paramount, which owned CBS, but it was the Redstone family, which had all these different media companies.
Well, he's died now, and his daughter, Sherry, is there.
And she would like to sell, and she can't sell.
As long as there's some kind of a government operation or action being taken against them by the FCC. The FCC has to approve this.
And so the FCC is, I think, criminally abusing their power right out the gate with Trump.
And saying, well, give us a report and we want to review all this stuff and so forth.
And we're not going to approve your sale unless you do all this.
And so Sherry Redstone...
CBS is one of their holdings there at Paramount.
And so she wants to...
It's actually Viacom, which owned Paramount, owned CBS, and a lot of other things.
So she wants to sell off this news organization.
And that's the leverage, big leverage, that the FCC has against them.
She doesn't want to take this to court and to challenge Trump.
On his attack against free speech and free press, she's willing to just cave.
And so they need the approval of FCC for the deal to advance.
And so that's the way this is going to go.
The population doesn't care.
The populace, I should say.
Not the population, but yeah, the population probably doesn't care about the principle either.
But populace don't care.
You said something about Trump?
Well, you deserve whatever he does to you.
Is that really what we want?
I mean, do we ever have any of the other presidents, even Abraham Lincoln?
You know, when they said that, I think Travis is the one who always corrects me on this.
I always get it wrong.
Son of a hatchet-faced nutmeg dealer or something they called Abraham Lincoln.
There were slurs like that that were happening all the time.
Do people pay any attention to that stuff?
Did you have presidents who said, well, I'm going to shut them down and punish them?
Yeah, hatchet-faced son of a nutmeg dealer.
Thank you.
There we go.
Whistler knows it.
I've forgotten the quote, but they remember it, I guess.
I thought it was really funny, and I think it's really funny, too.
I always get it wrong.
The hatchet-faced son-of-a-nutmeg dealer.
It's heartbreaking that CBS, say it again, CBS seems ready to pay big bucks for its own editing decisions.
It doesn't matter.
Look, this whole idea that...
They know what is fair and unbiased.
They know what the truth is.
That is the heart of censorship.
I'm going to tell you what's true.
I'm going to tell you what's fair.
I'm going to tell you what's biased and unbiased.
That is a dictatorship, folks, that is antithetical to the First Amendment.
Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with these people, we're going to lose free speech, and we're losing it.
Both sides have nothing but contempt for free speech.
Chief Executive of Paramount Global has been made aware of the news division's concerns over how a settlement would be perceived in the industry and its broader impact on press freedom.
Paramount's global board members have also received pleas from inside the news division to fight the Trump lawsuit, sources said.
It is a literal kowtow, a sign of obedience toward a new overlord.
And we're seeing this everywhere.
I mean, just look at these technocrat overlords kissing the ring.
The new overlords, a.k.a.
the Trump family, which is exactly the relationship that media owners in Belarus, Hungary, and Russia have with the regimes there.
This is essentially a crack in the foundation of our free press.
I think the First Amendment is just crumbling, folks.
It's crumbling.
You've got both sides hitting it with sledgehammers and everything else that they've got.
And, of course, this is brought to you by Trump.
So we're going to take a break, and when we come back, we're going to talk about Trump's war with the bureaucrats.
We'll be right back.
Here's a little song I wrote.
You might want to hear it in your pod.
You know nothing.
And be happy.
Ain't got no cash.
Ain't got no car.
But 24 booster shots in your arm.
Oh, nothing.
Be happy.
You can't even buy s***.
In the store, because of your low social credit score, owe nothing.
Be happy.
You will own nothing.
Woo-hoo!
And be happy.
Be happy and eat the bugs.
They're doing what?
In the place they named after me?
Good thing I have the David Knight Show to keep me informed on the plots of these traitors.
Making sense.
Common again.
This is the David Knight Show.
Well, High Verbal says breaking news.
The tariffs have been paused.
Mexico reaches an agreement with the U.S. and Trump pauses tariffs for one month.
Well, we'll see.
We'll see what happens with it.
All of my comments that I made before about the disregarding of the treaty that was actually legitimately ratified, about the damage that was done by terrorists the first time around, and about this approach, this entire approach, still stand.
And you're not going to...
Look, the Democrats are always pushing, we're going to tax our way into prosperity.
Whether it's for the new Green Deal, Okay, or whatever.
Oh, we can add taxes, and then we're going to invest in the country or whatever.
This is just a variation of that, that we're going to tax ourselves into prosperity.
We're going to tax ourselves into prosperity with tariffs.
Don't worry, other people will pay them.
That's what the Democrats always say about the income tax, and that's what Trump said about the tariffs.
So we'll see what he actually does.
Who knows what the man will do?
Audi, Modern Retro Radio.
Thank you very much for the tip.
That is very generous.
Thank you.
My tire blew out on the interstate on Friday, but I never lost control of the vehicle.
Not a doubt in my mind that my angels were on duty.
I thank Almighty God for them well.
And thank you so much for that.
And sorry that that happened, but that is a real praise.
Blew out on the interstate.
Still going to be a massive hassle with that, I'm sure, but at least you were safe.
Sorry that happened.
Marky Mark in New Jersey.
Thank you for a tip.
He says, government spending won't decrease while women vote.
Women are more collectivists.
The proof is that states instituting suffrage before the 19th Amendment saw increases in their government spending.
I agree.
That's why we call it the nanny state.
When we would take trips up to Colonial Williamsburg, at the courthouse, they would talk about what the trials were like and other things like that.
And then they would say...
You know, so raise your hand if you are, you know, a male head of household and property owner or whatever, you know, and all this other kind of stuff.
And they had all these different qualifications, you know, but lower your hand if you're a woman, unless you are the head of household or something like that.
But it was usually I was like the last man standing who could vote.
But I've given my vote over to them because the system is just too rigged.
IRS Machine Gun.
Thank you for the tip.
He writes, when Trump takes over Greenland, IRS agents will be the first boots on the ground.
That's right.
They're going to take all that green out of Greenland, all the currency that they have.
We're going to grab those green dollars, greenbacks.
Conservative thinker, thank you for the tip.
He says, after signing an executive order, to end all previous executive orders, what would be your second act as president of the several states?
The next thing I would do is I would start, actually I would pardon people first before I got rid of all the executive orders, so that would actually be my number two thing.
And then I would start shutting down bureaucracies, left and right.
That's what I would do with my executive orders.
There you go.
You don't like my executive orders?
Well, it was Ulysses Grant who said the best way to get rid of a bad law is to rigorously enforce it.
So I guess maybe the best way to get rid of a bad tradition is to rigorously enforce it.
That's the one hope that we got out of Trump.
And his executive orders.
I mean, if he really continues to abuse this thing, perhaps somebody will wake up and say, even the Republicans, you know, this might happen with a Democrat next, because he's setting up a precedent here.
Risha M., I can't even get my raw milk sold for $8 a gallon, and that's been the average price here for a decade.
But hay and grain prices keep going up.
That's the problem.
That's the problem.
Wow.
Jason Barker.
My Craftsman mower has a proud sticker on it that says assembled.
Assembled in the U.S. Not made in the U.S. anymore.
That's good.
Using globally sourced parts.
Even U.S. made products will go up because they're merely assembled here.
That's right.
All of the components coming across the border will have a tax added to them.
Well, let's talk about the war against the bureaucracy.
This would be good if I, well, we'll talk about what it is, and I'll give you my comments as we go along.
Babylon Bee says, joke, the entire federal workforce replaced by one 16-year-old Chick-fil-A employee.
Because he's so polite, you know.
But what is really happening is the, what I see more than anything.
As I said before, it was a move against the CIA, against the FBI, against the people that were enemies of Trump.
And I agree they ought to be fired.
And so I'm happy that they're being fired.
What I'm unhappy about is the fact that the institution remains.
And this is the blindness of conservatives.
You know, we really loved the FBI when J. Edgar Hoover was running it.
And when he had those TV programs with Efron Zimbal Jr. that were nothing but propaganda.
We really loved the FBI back then.
Why can't we have an FBI like that again?
And they have no idea what the FBI was like under J. Edgar Hoover.
You had Republicans as well as Democrats.
You had Nixon as well as Truman saying, they're a Gestapo.
But now, because it's against Trump, it's a Gestapo.
But only because it's against Trump.
And if Trump turns it into his Gestapo, he'll be fine with that.
Those people deserve it.
Those people he's coming after.
So, the USAID website goes dark as Trump reportedly plans to shift the agency under the State Department.
Now, the USAID has famously been CIA for the longest period of time.
Again, as I mentioned at the beginning of the program, Obama's mama was there.
Supposedly, she worked in anthropology or something like that.
You know, they have these excuses to get into other countries to give them money, but they're the ones who are operating under a cover, essentially.
Placed it under the direct oversight of the State Department, and the website even went offline over the weekend.
See, I would like to see this happen across the board.
Unfortunately...
USAID's website is now back online, at least something of a landing page, right?
And two sources familiar with the transition told Reuters that a major overhaul is expected and how Washington allocates U.S. foreign aid, with USAID losing its independence and most likely coming under control of the State Department.
They were under control of the CIA. They were an independent agency.
Trump's been purging and intimidating USAID employees.
Good!
But now there's rumor that he will dissolve USAID as an independent agency, said Chuck Schumer.
And Sarah Hedge tweeted out, said, Monday afternoon massacre, USAID employees placed on leave for allegedly circumventing Trump's orders.
Elon Musk clarified that USAID went on a woke spending spree in third world countries.
Is that news even?
So President Musk says, at this point, we need to end all foreign aid.
Not a single American taxpayer should leave the country for a very, very long time.
Send it to him instead.
For his crony capitalism.
It's all money laundering, he said.
Well, you know, I agree, but the problem is that they did shut down all aid, except to Israel and Egypt, because they're bribing Egypt to take Israel's problem.
Anyway, this is from Laura Logan, who said, like I said before, USAID is a front for the CIA. We all know that.
And together with NGOs like Open Society, George Soros is saying, they've been using U.S. tax dollars and government resources as their personal piggy bank for the longest time.
Now, let's get rid of the DEA as well, right?
So you're not going to see this with the DEA or the CIA or with any of these other intelligence agencies.
They're not going to shut them down.
At USAID, said Stephen Miller, 98% of the people there donated to Lala Harris or to other left-wing candidates.
But it has been politicized.
There are two USAID security officials put on leave after they refused Doge access to classified documents.
So, Elon Musk has like a power of attorney, I guess.
He's showing these people, and when they don't give him access to the classified documents, these people got fired, and it came just a couple of days after the same type of thing happened at the Treasury Department.
And so, you know, they're going to need to expose these people pretty quickly before the lawsuits begin.
They're going to have to move quickly if they want to keep this going.
FBI is stunned and frantic over the purge there.
And again, you know, this is something that is good, except that the corrupt organization is going to remain in place, because the Republicans don't realize that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is something for which there's no constitutional authority, and it was created by J. Edgar Hoover as his own little personal fiefdom.
It's been abusing power since its creation for 100 years.
The highest-ranking FBI official to be fired since January 20th is David Sundberg, the head of the FBI's Washington field office.
He was appointed by Christopher Wray in December 2022, and he was the one who oversaw the investigations into Americans present on January 6th at the Capitol.
So I'm glad that he's gone.
He should be fired.
It's absolutely true.
He should fire him.
Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove, who has directed the firings, has also ordered a review of all FBI personnel involved in the J-6 investigations, quote, to determine whether any additional personnel actions are necessary.
And again, I interviewed, I can't remember his first name.
His last name was Friend.
He worked for the FBI. He was a legitimate, you know, honest guy.
Who was given some J6 warrants to execute, and they told him how to, and he said, well, just get these people.
And he, you know, went back and forth with him.
He became a whistleblower.
They got rid of him.
It's time to put some honest people back in there, except it shouldn't be there.
All of the stuff that the FBI does, essentially, could and should be done at the state level.
I do not believe that the current leadership of the Justice Department can trust these FBI employees to assist in implementing the President's agenda faithfully, said Bove.
Well, again, the institution can't be trusted.
And we have a century of that to prove.
The former FBI agent whistleblower Kyle Serafin on Saturday published the termination letter that he says has been sent to FBI employees involved.
And waging lawfare against Trump.
The letter says, this letter provides official notice that you are being removed from your position at the Department of Justice and from federal service effective immediately, and it bears the seal of the Attorney General's office.
And so, again, we want to see these people gone.
I think they should not stop there.
I think they should have some...
Criminal liability for their abuse of power and the laws that they broke.
I think judges need to be impeached and removed as well.
But, you know, you have to look at it.
Where do we go beyond just the immediate personal revenge of Trump?
Or is there going to be real systemic reform of this?
Joe Biden's personal Gestapo, they say.
Well, again, it always was a Gestapo.
And we had...
Both Republicans and Democrats.
Nixon and Truman.
Both of them said that.
The Trump administration has ordered deletion of information about climate change from government websites.
That's very good as well.
The first report that I did at Infowars was about the fine particulate matter fraud, PM 2.5.
2.5 nanometers particulate.
So what they were trying to do is get rid of all diesel.
They're trying to get rid of all barbecue grills, all fireplaces, everything.
And again, I won't go into the details of it, but I talked about how they were hooking people up to diesel exhaust, removing the carbon monoxide so it wouldn't kill them outright, but looking for people who had...
Respiratory illnesses and heart illnesses and exposing them to levels that were 72 times what the EPA said.
And they were doing that right there in Research Triangle Park in North Carolina, where I lived.
And that was happening as Lisa Jackson, Obama's EPA administrator, was doing a presentation on Capitol Hill, their beloved hearings, saying that more people were dying of fine particulate matter than of cancer and heart disease.
And at the time, on their website, and I made it part of my report, my first report when I went to Natural Wars, I showed their website the page that they had about PM 2.5.
And when they were talking about smoke and smoky, they actually showed the Smoky Mountains and used that as an example.
The Smoky Mountains were smoky before anybody was ever doing anything other than, I mean, are they going to...
Come after the Indians for smoke signals or something, claiming that that was what made the Smoky Mountains smoky.
It was just ridiculous.
We featured it, and they removed that page.
Too late.
It was in my report, and we saved that report.
But a new report by Politico reveals a concerted effort to scrub any mention of climate change from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's website.
Again, you've got to get rid of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
They're trying to get rid of the small farms.
This is just one of the things that's wrong with the USDA. It also mandated that employees identify web content related to climate change and document it for further inspection.
It's a particularly troubling sign, says a left-wing rag futurism about this.
Listen to how they react to this, how awful this is.
It's a particularly troubling sign as our climate shows signs it is buckling under the weight of our carbon footprint.
These people will never give up.
Never give up!
And we can't give up either.
Because when you're talking about carbon footprint, you know, what comes to my mind is what George Orwell said.
You know, just imagine a boot stomping on your face forever.
That's what the carbon footprint is about.
It's that kind of tyranny.
So they said, you know, everything from the severity of wildfires to the frequency of major hurricanes.
There were fewer hurricanes this year.
Fewer hurricanes.
Not more.
And when you talk about the severity of wildfires, does that mean that they forgot to put water in the hydrants and they didn't have, they fired all the firefighters?
Come on.
This is just ridiculous.
John Brennan, hopefully he's going to get his comeuppance.
This guy.
John Brennan just...
He exudes the evil of the CIA, doesn't he?
This guy who looks like he wants to kill everybody, and he probably does, and he probably has killed everybody that he came in contact with.
Talk about somebody like Mad Dog Mattis.
What's his last name?
Anyway, Mattis.
Mad Dog Mattis.
Okay, he can't hold a candle to John Brennan.
Leaked email shows John Brennan and other 50 intelligence agencies were even more corrupt than we thought.
Really?
Not me.
I think I thought they were about as corrupt as you could ever have anybody.
They were working to control our elections, says this article on Twitchy.
Are you telling me that after, let's see, when did these guys come out?
Right after World War II, right?
So after 80 years?
Of the CIA, the one thing that you've got a problem with is the election.
How about all the coups?
How about all the assassinations?
How about spying on every American citizen?
Seriously, that's your issue with the CIA? We talk about the occultic stuff and everything.
Look, Stargate, that's one of the things you ought to think about.
It's the fact that there was an Operation Stargate that was done by the CIA. And you know what it was about?
It was about the occult.
It was about remote viewing and mind control and part of this stuff being done by the men who stare at goats.
Alex liked that guy who was in charge of that program for some reason.
But this is all the occult, right?
I mean, they're not just murderers.
They're satanic murderers.
And your beef with John Brennan is the fact that he rigged an election against Trump?
That's it?
That's the only thing you care about?
Wow.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk, Doge, locks federal human resource workers out of their computer systems.
They've taken over.
These guys are...
Been physically escorted out of the buildings, some of them, who refused to comply.
When they got in there, they have now changed the passwords and locked everybody out of the computer systems.
Again, That's by design, you know.
And that is creating great concern.
There is no oversight.
It creates real cybersecurity and hacking implications.
It's always had real cybersecurity and hacking implications.
And are these guys pretending that they've never been hacked?
That they've never had their cybersecurity?
You remember we had all of the personnel files of the Department of Defense exposed?
We've had the CIA itself hacked.
That's how they got the Vault 7 stuff.
The Vault 7 stuff that was leaked out by WikiLeaks and others.
And they hacked that.
Some people hacked that from the CIA itself.
And WikiLeaks at first just put out the manual showing that the CIA had a program that would allow them to impersonate any country.
Any foreign actors, when they would hack, make it look like it's somebody else.
And of course, at the time, I talked to William Benny, I talked to John McAfee about that, and they said, of course they're going to look like somebody.
And so you never know when, you know, it's proof that we never know, because of Vault 7, we never know who's doing the acting, the hacking, I should say.
When you hear these people come out and say, well, such and such just got hacked by the Chinese government, you know that person is lying.
There's absolutely no way that they can determine that.
Because, you know, when the stuff was stolen, WikiLeaks got it and they released the manual, but they didn't release the software.
But somebody else who did steal it did eventually release the software.
So now everybody has that capability.
Everybody can masquerade as whoever they wish to be.
And you've had the federal government being hacked one side down the other, but it's really about their power base, and this is just how corrupt our government has become, that both sides are doing this type of thing.
Musk's allies set up camp at the OPM headquarters to work around the clock.
They've moved sofa beds onto the fifth floor of the agency's headquarters, which contains the director's office and can only be accessed with a security badge or a security escort, one of the OPM employees said.
The sofa beds have been installed so the team can work around the clock, the employee said.
It feels like a hostile takeover.
Oh, that's because it is.
It is going to be interesting to see what they reveal.
And you know, this is going to be a lot more interesting, folks, than the JFK files, which anything that was in there has been destroyed decades ago.
Probably is never put in there.
Let's create some documents about how we kill JFK. And then we'll put them in the CIA files.
Are you kidding me?
You really think you're going to find out something about that?
But this, this could be very interesting if he does another one of these Twitter file type of things, Elon Musk.
And I think that's what is up with this.
He's got people working around the clock, and then they're going to be releasing some juicy details about the abuse of power throughout the federal government, and that's good.
That's good.
We need to have these institutions change.
The OPM is reportedly run by Amanda Scales, a former Musk employee, who now serves as the agency's chief of staff.
Ricardo Biasini, a former engineer at Tesla, also works as a senior advisor to the agency.
Well, when we return, we're going to play...
We're going to talk about foreign wars.
Before we go, a comment from High Boost.
David, at the top of Clingman's Dome, there's a bunch of that smoky climate change on plaques that are real old and obviously fake at this point.
I get a laugh every year when I go up the top and read them.
Oh, wow, I have to do that.
I have to look at that.
I remember they had the Glacier Park.
They had a sign saying, these are all going to be gone by 2020, and they had to remove the signs in 2020 because the glaciers were still there.
We're going to take a quick break.
When we come back, we're going to talk about the foreign wars.
Hello, it's me, Volodymyr Zelensky.
I'm so tired of wearing these same t-shirts everywhere for years.
You'd think with all the billions I've skimmed off America, I could dress better.
And I could, if only David Knight would send me one of his beautiful grey MacGuffin hoodies or a new black t-shirt with the MacGuffin logo in blue.
But he told me to get lost.
Maybe one of you American suckers can buy me some at thedavidknightshow.com.
You should be able to buy me several hundred.
Those amazing sand-colored microphone hoodies are so beautiful.
I'd wear something other than green military cosplay to my various galas and social events.
If you want to save on shipping, just put it in the next package of bombs and missiles coming from the USA. You know, Zelensky, he's pleading poverty.
I guess he's saying he doesn't have enough money to buy T-shirts.
He says, I don't know where all the money's gone.
He sounds like somebody straight out of Washington, doesn't he?
That's what happens.
You hang around with these guys in Washington, and before you know it, you've lost $100 billion.
It just went through your fingers.
You don't have any idea where it went.
He says, I only got $75 billion of the $177 billion of USAID, he said.
And here he is.
This is in subtitles.
He's not speaking in English as he did for our commercial.
Look, when I hear, and I heard before, and we hear from the U.S. and from Americans, he said, that America gave Ukraine hundreds of billions, 177 to be more precise.
That's what the exact figure sounded like.
He said it was supposed to be voted for by Congress.
He said, look, as a president of a warring country, I tell you, we receive just over 75. That is 100 billion of these, 177 or 200 or so that people say, we have never received.
Because we're talking about specific things.
We got it not with money, but with equipment.
We got 70-something billion dollars worth of weapons, and there's training, there's additional training.
These are not only just pieces of weapons.
Prices for weapons, I should say.
Transport.
There are humanitarian programs, social programs.
But when they say the Ukraine, during this war, received $200 billion to support the army, this is not true.
I don't know where the money is.
Yeah, neither do we.
They just stole it all from us.
That's the way it usually works out with these wars, isn't it?
Ukraine has received military aid from the U.S., he says, but hey, only 75 of the 177?
Do we know where it went?
I don't know where the rest of the stuff went.
Maybe Biden kept some of it and gave it to his family.
Maybe Zelensky kept some of it.
I don't know where the money is.
Where did the $100 billion go?
He says, all I can say.
Is that we have received more than $75 billion in the USA, but the claim that Ukraine has received $100 billion out of the $177 billion total, or even $200 billion, as some say, is simply not true.
I don't know how in the world his wife was able to set up all these different shell corporations, like a Madryovsky doll, to own these elaborate villas all over the place, multiple villas.
And nested them inside of these different shell corporations.
Well, she does her shopping trips in Paris.
I don't know where all the money went.
But I know where it's not going.
It's not going to Americans.
I want to be clear.
We're not waiting until those fires are over to start helping the victims.
We're getting help right now, as you all know.
People impacted by these fires are going to receive one-time payment of $770.
There we go.
One-time payment.
One-time payment.
We purchase things like water, baby formula, prescriptions.
So far, nearly 6,000 survivors have registered to do just that.
And $5.1 million has gone out.
Oh, okay.
Wow.
I mean, that's...
I guess, you know, we don't spare any expense when it comes to our citizens, do we?
Brian and Dan McCartney said, his wife spent it all.
Yeah, that's most likely what happened.
His wife spent it all or kickbacks to the Biden family.
High Boost says, what is good for the goose is good for the gander.
Wait till the Democrats are in charge four years again and they go full dictator.
This is not good.
I agree.
You know, what we're seeing here is not reform.
What we're seeing here is vendettas and vengeance.
And I said that from the very beginning.
I said there's a lot of people who've done criminal actions, and they need to come after them.
But it also needs to be made clear, this is part of reform, specific to particular actions and that type of stuff.
It needs to be accompanied with reforms, and they need to go to the extra...
Extra step of making it clear to everybody that this is not about vengeance.
But see, Trump wants to make it about vengeance, right?
If he was to say, I'm going to reestablish the rule of law, that doesn't, in his eyes, make him look strong.
He wants people to see this as simply, you mess with me, you're gone.
Same type of stuff that he did with Thomas Massey, for example.
Thomas Massey, pushback against...
This initial $3.5 trillion bill after Trump had unnecessarily locked us down and paid states to do it.
And he said, I want Congress to come back here and vote for this.
And they said, are you crazy?
We're all going to die.
It's a pandemic.
You want us to come back to Washington and vote?
But he required it.
And guess what?
None of these old geezers died.
None of them died.
They didn't even get sick.
Maybe there wasn't a pandemic.
But nevertheless, Trump came after Thomas Massey and said, we're going to get rid of him.
We're going to push him out.
He does that with everybody.
It's all about, he's just a mobster.
He's just a gangster.
And so now, you know, not only does Zelensky not know where $177 billion went, he is also now warning Trump against talking to Putin.
This is very dangerous.
He said, no, you know what's dangerous?
It's having a corrupt little guy like him pushing for nuclear war.
That's what's dangerous.
And unfortunately, this whole thing about Ukraine appears to have taken a backseat to his agenda to go after Canada and Mexico and Panama and Greenland and all the rest of this stuff.
So on Saturday, Zelensky said that excluding his country from talks between the U.S. and Russia about the war in Ukraine would be very dangerous.
Does he not realize yet?
There's nothing but a little surrogate.
That he doesn't contribute anything.
He's just there for a handout.
And he's been mismanaging all this stuff.
Remember the counter-offensive?
Remember how they did like a little trailer video?
It's coming.
It's like we're going to be releasing a new movie or whatever.
And they played it like that.
It didn't work out the way that he had scripted it, did it?
So he says this could be very dangerous.
And he asked for more discussions between Kiev and Washington to develop a plan for a ceasefire.
Well, how about this as a plan?
First you get rid of Zelensky.
Then we can talk.
Zelensky's remarks followed comments on Friday by Trump, who said American and Russian officials were, quote, already talking, unquote, about ending the war.
Trump said his administration has had, quote, very serious, unquote, discussions with Russia.
But he did not elaborate.
Now, Breitbart conveniently forgets that Trump had promised that he, I could probably end this war before I even take office.
And then he was very definitely going to end it on day one.
And so Breitbart doesn't say anything at all about that.
Breitbart says the nearly three-year war with Ukraine is at a crossroads.
Trump promised to end the fighting within six months of taking office.
Well, no, he actually made a lot of promises about that.
Way before he pushed back and said, well, we'll do it in six months.
Audi, thank you very much.
I appreciate that.
Second tip, and it's very generous.
He said, my tire blew out on the interstate on Friday, but I never lost control of the vehicle.
Not a doubt in my mind that angels were on duty.
I thank Almighty God for them.
You know, I've mentioned it before.
I had a friend who was struggling with cancer, and he's a Christian.
And we had some meetings where he brought all of his friends, and we all prayed for him.
And he survived for, I don't know, how long did Thomas survive for?
It was about 20 years.
And he eventually died of cancer, but I mean, it was like 20 years.
And he referenced the prayer for Hezekiah giving, you know, had a prophet come to Hezekiah and tell him who was going to die.
He prayed and said, all right, another 15 years, that type of thing.
Well, Thomas got more than that.
But I remember we got with him.
We used to do Bible study with his boys and my boys and another couple of fathers and their sons.
But he said he was headed to chemotherapy one day, and he said there was this big sheet of metal that went flying off of a...
Of a truck in front of him and just barely missed his top of his car.
And he said, if it was like six inches low, he said, it probably would have killed me.
He said, here I am, I'm driving and I'm thinking about, you know, the cancer and I'm on my way to getting chemotherapy.
And he said, I just realized that every moment of my life is in God's hands.
He said, I could have been on my way to chemotherapy and been killed right there in that accident.
And that truly is the way that it is.
Well, speaking of Canada, as I said before, Trump is saying that Canada will cease to exist without our subsidy.
And what is our subsidy?
Well, it's the fact that we buy Canadian oil at some of the lowest market prices out there.
And we buy a lot of it.
So that's considered to be a subsidy.
And that it could become our cherished 51st state.
He is fired back angrily at Trudeau's tariffs, who has now retaliated by claiming that Canada will cease to exist as a viable country in the U.S. And, you know, it is interesting when we look at all of this nonsense about how there's this massive invasion of fentanyl and illegal immigrants.
Well, there is from the Mexican border.
But not from the Canadian border.
But I saw this report that was put out by Jack Posobiec, who is somebody who used to work in intelligence, as you can imagine, you know, selling lies for Trump.
Listen to him, listen to Jack Posobiec trying to sell the idea that the Canadian border is dangerous.
So this library behind me right here actually straddles the border between the United States and Canada.
This behind me is Canada.
Here you can see a sign.
It says...
Do not enter.
That is the border for the entire northern part of Vermont here between the United States and Canada.
I could invade Canada with snowballs right now.
Perhaps I will.
Trudeau, look out.
So what's your solution, Jack?
I think probably what we should do is we should get a hold of Lucky Palmer and his company, Andruil.
And we should load that little town there up with barbed wire.
A no-man's zone.
We could have autonomous killer drones patrolling it.
We could have spy planes, surveillance cameras, the rest of it.
Is that what you want, Jack?
In our border with Canada?
These people are dangerous.
I'm serious.
As the character in Laughing used to say, Very interesting, but stupid, right?
No, these people are very interesting, but dangerous.
Dangerous people.
This is a dangerous idea that we have to have a border that we can't get out of.
Hey, Pasopio, go back to your intelligence agencies and stop lying to us about what's going on.
Pathetic to see this kind of stuff.
Just pathetic.
And then, when we're talking about the border, we got a lot of cosplay that is happening here.
I didn't talk about this on Friday.
I had this in the board to talk about this.
But you had Christy Noem, who went on with Laura Ingraham.
And not only is she dishonest, even with Laura Ingraham.
I won't even talk to her and answer her questions.
But she comes on dressed up like Zelensky.
We've got not only Christy Noem, who's now head of Homeland Security, but we've also got Nancy Mace.
And the left-wing media was laughing at them, calling them ice Barbies, right?
Immigration and customs.
But calling them ice Barbies because they're dressing up in bulletproof vests and going around holding interviews and stuff and going around with Border Patrol stuff.
Is that really what a congresswoman is supposed to do?
I said before, all they're interested in is theater.
They want to have their hearings or they want to...
Travel around with ICE agents on raids so they can get on TV. They don't do anything that they were elected to do.
They don't do anything that's in the Constitution for the Congress to do.
It's all about theatrical stuff.
And so take a look at Kristi Noem.
She's got her Zelensky costume, her cosplay to say, look, I'm all militarized.
I've got my vest and all the rest of this stuff.
And a cap.
But she's got...
Massive amounts of lipstick and earrings and all the rest of the stuff, which is why they call her The ice barbie.
And now, Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security.
Secretary Noem, thanks for joining us.
She took off the bulletproof vest just for this interview.
We kind of floated this idea a couple of nights ago because obviously they had all the Haitian refugees there.
But how soon will the facility be ready to take in these illegals?
You know, it won't take very long at all.
We already have some dangerous criminals there that are illegal aliens.
And so the facilities can be stood up quite quickly.
They're soft-sided.
We have the space.
We just gotta get to work.
What do you think of these officials from blue cities like Minneapolis, St. Paul, that are essentially saying Don't even think about worrying we got you to the aliens?
Well, they're not taking care of their people.
Clearly, we want to come in and help make their streets safer.
It was amazing to me the other morning when I was...
I'm with the government.
I'm here to help you.
...6 o'clock in the morning, and the community members were walking past us on the streets and saying, thank you.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for getting these folks out of these apartment buildings, these dangerous...
Well, you know, she's not just stopping there.
She had another interview as well.
Ice Barbie did.
Go in and use our operations and then show in other cities how it's working.
And tell our story to the American people.
The people in their community need to hear how their mayors, their elected officials, are protecting the criminals.
But will you go after them personally?
I'm going to ask for the third time.
I'm asking a question because I expect an answer.
Will you go after these individuals who are saying, essentially, they're going to thwart federal authority.
You guys have the authority over immigration enforcement.
They don't.
Listen, Laura, nobody's above the law.
Of course we will.
But that's up to President Trump.
President Trump gives us a direction.
I don't sit here and make up a decision on what I do.
I follow the law.
That's my job, is we treat everybody the same in this country now that we have President Trump in the White House, and he's going to give us direction on how we're going to go after these individuals.
Yeah, and she's one of those people who pushed through eradicating the First Amendment because the government of Israel told her to.
Yeah, she's real reliable, that ICE Barbie there.
But it's all theatrics, folks.
All theatrics.
Geesebusters, thank you very much for the tip.
He says, David, it looks like the swamp is getting so thick you can walk on it.
That's what Trump meant by hiring freeze, right?
And we got ice.
We got ice Barbies that are going all over the place.
I don't know.
It is really...
Audi, Modern Retro Radio, he says, all that Ukrainian money was laundered back to the U.S. Congress members who approved the funding in the first place.
Actually, he knows exactly where that money is.
I agree.
This is, I think it's a revolving door there.
That's what it always has been.
Marco Rubio, as we go to Panama.
Marco Rubio, and this is a state, head of the State Department, Secretary of State.
Usually, they go to Asia or to Europe or whatever.
His number one priority is to go to Panama.
folks there's no problems in panama and everybody who lives there who works there who's traveled there put out videos showing look this is under panamanian control and we and everything that trump is saying folks about panama is a bull-faced lie they're not charging more money to um the um to american ships than they do to other people uh
And Trump has not put out any receipts for that, just like he didn't put out any receipts for his bold-faced lies about the election either.
But, and people that I know, and I do know some people who live down there, they are really upset about this.
Americans who live down there.
Marco Rubio tells the Panama president to halt Chinese influence.
Or Trump will take, quote, necessary measures.
Necessary measures.
See, nothing is different in Panama today than Panama during Trump 1.0.
Why wasn't Trump worried about it then?
Why didn't he do anything about it then?
Because it wasn't a problem then.
And what is his agenda?
Now, I don't really know why he's doing this.
I can make some speculative guesses about why he's doing this.
He is a master of diversion, distraction, division.
The president of Panama, he told him, must halt the influence of China over the canal, or Trump will take necessary measures to protect the treaty with Panama on the canal.
Look, it's the same Hong Kong company, Hong Kong.
That has had this since 1993. They've been administering it.
It belongs to the Panamanian government based on a treaty.
It's kind of interesting how Trump picks and chooses which treaties he wants to obey, right?
We have a treaty whether you agree with the measures of the treaty or not.
And, you know, the Panama Canal was a treaty.
The USMCA, which I said I didn't like, was a treaty.
But he's going to ignore those, and then he's going to pretend that he's in the Paris Climate Treaty, which was never ratified.
Never ratified.
Anyway, he's going to abide by the terms of getting out of something that we were never in.
So, this Hong Kong company has had this since 1993, and nothing has really changed.
The determination that China's presence in the canal area violates this treaty.
And they're calling for, quote, permanent neutrality of the American-built canal.
That's their quote.
Again, what is Trump's take on all this?
You know, and that's what my friends who are down in Panama said.
Maybe because they've had a couple of things have happened.
First, you had the Panamanian government do an audit of this company.
And so a lot of the people who are down there think that maybe the way this thing will play out...
Is that the Panamanian government will say, yeah, we don't like this Hong Kong company.
They came after them with their equivalent of the IRS. Well, they didn't pay their taxes or whatever, so we're going to take it away from them.
And maybe what we'll do is we'll give it to some friend of Trump's.
Maybe that's what's going to happen, right?
Maybe some of his billionaire friends who will get it.
And then you've got J.D. Vance talking about Greenland.
He went on one of the Sunday shows with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News.
She said, do you expect the U.S. to acquire Greenland?
And Vance said, well, I think it's possible, Maria.
So here's the thing that I think a lot of folks don't appreciate about Greenland.
It's really important to our national security.
See, that's why we've got 200 troops there.
We've got military bases all over Europe, tens of thousands of troops.
You know, some 80,000 troops and one and so forth.
But Greenland is so important to our national security that we've taken it from 10,000 right after World War II when you could make an argument that it was necessary for national security.
They've taken it down to 200 now.
So, and when we look at modern technology and the rest of the stuff, it is irrelevant.
With the satellites and the early warning systems and everything else that we've got.
They don't even need the 200 that are there, but they never close anything.
But to take it down to 200, do we have any other military base anywhere in the world that only has 200 troops?
I don't know.
It's hard to get that information.
But anyway, you've got Vance out there saying it is really important to our national security, and he keeps repeating that.
He said, there are sea lanes that the Chinese use, that the Russians use, that frankly Denmark, which controls Greenland, it's not doing its job, and it's not being a good ally.
Okay, so we're going to take it away from Greenland.
He says, so you have to ask yourself, how are we going to solve that problem?
Well, it's not a problem, but he's pretending that it is.
How are we going to solve our own national security?
If that means that we need to take more territorial interest in Greenland, That is what President Trump is going to do, because he doesn't care about what the Europeans scream at us.
He cares about putting the interests of American citizens first.
Got to take over Greenland so he can turn those resources over to some of his other pals, and we will pay them big bucks, you and I, as American taxpayers, so he can turn over those vast natural resources, perhaps, to his friends.
As David Bonson pointed out, he said, one of the reasons those resources are all still there is because it's really difficult to get them out.
And so when you look at that, is it going to be possible for them to get this stuff out?
In a way, I mean, we do have American companies that are there now to get some of the resources, and it's not like Denmark is throwing them out or nationalizing any industries.
It's just that there's nothing there.
So, you know, we look at the resources that are there, or we look at the national security, and there is no case to be made for national security.
Vance said you've probably got 55,000 people living in Greenland who are not actually happy with the Danish government.
They have great natural resources there.
They've got incredibly bountiful country that the Danes aren't allowing them to develop and explore.
Of course, Donald Trump would take a different approach if he were the leader of Greenland.
Oh, yes.
Well, we're going to take a break, and when we come back, we're going to talk about Trump on DEI, on trans, on parental rights, and some of these other things.
So we'll take a quick break as we think about Greenland.
And its vast natural resources.
Oh, to look around at the patch of ground Known as Mother Nature's sieve Though it's horrible to visit It's a miserable place to live You're
listening to The David Knight Show.
Well, welcome back.
And before I get into any more news, I want to thank the people.
As I said, we were at 75% on Friday because we hadn't been able to get, with everything that's happening with Karen and other things, it was difficult for us to get to the post office and pick anything up.
We're able to get there, and I've got a list of people, a long list of people who have sent us contributions, many of them for the first time.
And so I want to thank them, but I want to read this card first.
This is from Rob Bernadette and family, and said that my wife works at Abundant Life Christian School.
This is the school that had the shooting back on December the 16th.
And if you recall, we didn't talk about that a great deal because I don't talk about every single shooting that happens depending on, you know, unfortunately it's become a recurring situation and the problem is not the Second Amendment, it's what's happening in our society and many, many other issues that we've talked about from time to time, but it's not one that I covered, but two people were killed, six people were shot, six other people were shot.
And the perpetrator killed himself there, if I remember correctly.
But he said, my wife works at Abundant Life Christian School, and my two children attend there.
They just went through a tragedy that I never thought would happen at the school.
However, I saw God work and give strength to those that were involved more than I thought possible.
He said, God is good.
And I know your stories of how God guided you and your family fell on fertile soil and gave me strength.
I just learned I need to have bypass surgery due to major blockages in several arteries.
And so he says, I covet your prayers.
And so please pray for Rob and his family.
You know, Rob, we have to tell each other when God does wonderful things in our life, just like what Audi was talking about earlier.
And we need to thank God.
That's one of the ways that we thank God.
I'm looking forward to hearing your story about how God has continued to move in your life for your heart surgery as he did with this shooting.
That is one of the things that we're here for.
We're here as God's witnesses.
And so I thank you for your support and you will have our prayers for your swift recovery for safe surgery.
That's Robin family, so all of you please pray for him.
And let me just thank real quickly the people whose checks we got.
I'll just read their first name and last initial.
Stacey P., Helen T., Eric O., David and Ann Marie N., Aaron F., Joshua B., Jack H., Joni S. And again, Joni and Eric, this is the first time that they've contributed.
Very, very generous.
Thank you so much.
Jackie and Fred U., Dale L., Kelly and Phillip M., Matt H., who sent some stickers as well, the Sellers family, Aaron W., Michael T., David and Joan F., Thank you very much.
And they're from Canada as well.
Very generous.
As well as Laverne I, also from Canada.
Also, thank you very much.
Gary B., Imelda D., David and Susie S., Chuck and Robin C., friends of ours.
And thank you so much.
And they helped us with Karen and medical appointments as well.
TK from Ohio.
Thank you very much.
Samantha and Scott T. Marty T. of I'm Marty, who has done many matching funds for us.
Bethany from Michigan.
Robert and Laura B. Hunt G. Lois L. William G. Kevin K. Ashton B., who sent a Jimmy Stewart picture that I mentioned.
Shenandoah, thank you very much.
We will get that framed.
Alessandra R., Chuck and Robin.
I mentioned Chuck and Robin.
So thank you so much, all of you.
And we got an anniversary card as well from Helen.
Thank you so much for that.
Very kind of you to put that in there.
I wish I could say more.
It just doesn't seem like enough just to read people's names.
But thank you so much for all that you do for us.
We're very grateful.
Grateful to you, grateful to God for what you have done.
And Cecilia 14 said, David, I checked out Knights of the Storm after hearing you mention them.
Great show.
Yes, yes.
There's a lot of good shows out there that are not getting a lot of attention.
And these are people who are doing their work independent.
And not beholden to a political party or to some big corporation and their great sources of information.
Whether or not we agree, and I don't know of anything that we disagree on, but I'm saying, you know, whether or not we disagree, it's always important to have honest opinions.
And I really value honest opinions.
But I think we pretty much agree on everything.
But still, it's good to have a different set of eyes.
They'll see things that I don't see.
Let's talk a little bit about what is happening on the trans side.
And this is another thing that's got a lot of people excited about Trump.
And look, I'm glad that he's doing it.
It's way overdue.
But again, why haven't we responded to this stuff?
Why are we waiting for somebody to fix things in Washington?
That's my only criticism.
And as I mentioned before, for all the people who think that God...
That Trump is on a mission from God.
Well, I guess you could say that about anybody in one way or the other.
God has planned our lives for us.
But when you go back and you look at Trump, I've not heard him distance himself from any of the pushing of the transgender nonsense when he had the beauty contests.
I haven't heard Michael Flynn distance himself from pushing the DEI and Pride Month and pushing Chris Beck that they pushed into transitioning.
I haven't heard these guys pull back from that.
Or Melania pulling back from her celebration of the trans stuff at Mar-a-Lago.
So I'm glad that there's been some moves made for this.
But it's so blatantly absurd.
Why have we let them do this?
It's kind of like the same type of thing.
And we have people who will stand up and oppose it, and they get hammered down.
Like this story.
You've got a French gynecologist who has been suspended because he wouldn't treat a man who thought he was a woman.
And so, this guy, he refused to examine a transgender patient on the grounds that he was only qualified to treat real women.
That was his words.
Real women.
Oh, those are fighting words.
And so he not only got fired, but now they're talking about using criminal charges against him.
And, of course, we all experience this type of stuff as well with the lockdown thing as well.
But, you know, this guy who came into him, he doesn't need a gynecologist.
He needs a psychologist, doesn't he?
Actually, what he needs is an evangelist to tell him what God has done here.
Dr. Victor Akarian was accused of transphobia after he turned the patient away in August 2023.
See, not even that is right.
If he was afraid of trans, he would have done whatever this guy wanted.
The problem is that he wasn't transphobic.
He wasn't afraid of the guy.
So he used the offensive phrase, real women.
And so they're now going to bring criminal charges against them.
These are sexual Jacobins, quite frankly.
And what they're doing is they're trying to make a crime out of reality.
This is the old Orwellian technique where you must say 2 plus 2 equals 5. You must lie to yourself.
You must live by that lie.
You must engage and double think and double speak.
Yes, I know you can tell this person is physically a man, but...
You must believe and really accept the fact that he's actually a woman.
So we have some hospitals now that are stopping transgender surgeries on children after Trump's order.
What was Trump's order?
Did Trump say, if you do this, we're going to put you in prison?
No.
What did Trump do?
This is an extra credit question for the people of MAGA. What Trump did was he stopped paying the hospitals.
You see, if you pay the hospitals, You can, and these are hospitals in Colorado, Virginia, and in Washington, D.C. Folks, these hospitals killed people for money during the pandemic.
They would point at somebody and say, you got COVID, you got the cooties, and they would get $13,000.
If they could put them on a ventilator to kill them, they would get another $39,000.
And then they would get a 20% bonus while they're killing that person with a ventilator or with remdesivir or whatever.
Trump paid them for that.
These killers for hire were also being paid to do transgender stuff by the Biden administration.
And when Trump said he's not going to pay them anymore to do the transgender stuff, guess what?
They stopped mutilating kids.
They stopped mutilating and sterilizing kids.
Because it's all about the money.
See, the government doesn't have this authority, but they've got unlimited amounts of fiat cash that they've printed up.
And that's what's really going on here.
And look, I'm glad that this is being shut down from a pragmatic standpoint.
But are we going to obey Trump's law or God's law?
Right?
I mean, we need to push back against this because we don't want to live by lies.
We need to push back against this because we know what the physical world is.
We know what God has created.
And who gets the glory from this?
When Trump shuts this down, just like the abortion stuff, which, again, Trump, you know, we've had Republican governor, president after Republican president, point people to the Supreme Court, and they'll say, oh, they're going to overthrow Roe v.
Wade.
Never happened.
And when it did happen, Trump and these other people that he supported, like Blake Masters, just went crazy shutting down their websites, purging it.
Trump saying, well, you know, we're losing, we lost that midterm election because...
They overthrew Roe v.
Wade.
He didn't want it overturned.
And yet, what do we see?
We see people, especially Christians, just praising Trump.
Praising Trump for overturning Roe v.
Wade.
Praising Trump for not paying the trainees anymore.
Why don't we give God the glory for some of this stuff, and why don't we stand up with a backbone against these people?
And say, we're not going to play these games.
We're not going to allow this to happen.
We should have just laughed these people off the stage.
It used to always be a joke.
They would have men dress up like women.
And it is still a joke to me.
I'm not ever going to take this seriously.
So, you know, we don't need to have a president that's going to do it for us.
I'm glad to see this happen, however it has happened, but it doesn't need to happen that way.
As an example, An arrest warrant issued for a New York doctor.
He's been indicted in Louisiana for prescribing abortion pills.
You see, this is a state that is acting.
It's not Trump that is acting.
These types of things can and should be done in many regards by the state.
Now, this is going to be something that is going to bring up issues of jurisdiction and things like that.
But I think they've got a good case for this.

And this is one example of it.
Well, that's all we have time for today.
Thank you for joining us.
Have a good day.
Good evening.
Tonight's tale is a story of paranoia and a most unexpected perpetrator, the common cow.
Or, more specifically, what comes out the other end.
Yes, the air is thick with intrigue, as it seems that in our modern age of propaganda, even a humble bovine's backside can be branded a national security threat.
The menace is invisible, silent, yet deadly.
Carefully contrived to panic the masses into accepting the government stepping in, jackboots and all, with their solutions.
Because who better to stop a gaseous threat than a bunch of political windbags?
But one must wonder, is this truly about saving the planet, or are we simply being led to pasture?
Is it merely a MacGuffin?
The David Knight show serves as a breath of fresh air for those who still believe that truth can stand up to scrutiny.

So if you want to help others catch wind of the BS being shoveled out of Washington, please consider supporting the show.
And now back to our regularly scheduled program.
