	Today we're going to be talking about what's going on in Hong Kong, what is happening with trade.
	China is at the center again, and it has always been about China.
	It's not really been about Russia.
	Russia is very tiny in terms of population, in terms of economy, compared to the United States.
	When you look at cyber attacks, what China has done pales What has been verified by Comey and others pales, Russia's allegations pale in comparison to what China has been acknowledged to have done.
	No dispute about what China has done.
	And so the question is, what does this unfolding situation in Hong Kong tell us about our relationship with China?
	And what do the moves yesterday by President Trump tell us about what is ahead?
	So we're going to take a look at that.
	We're also going to have joining us today in studio Alex Newman from The New American.
	He is touring the country talking about how we can take back education away from the people who are trying to brainwash us.
	Remember that that's one of the things that was a key issue in previous conflicts between Hong Kong and China.
	China decided that they were going to change the textbooks to propagandize the children.
	About how wonderful communism was, how horrible freedom was, to sponge, essentially, even out of secondary references in classical literature, like Robinson Crusoe and other examples like that, to purge out anything that had to do with Christianity, God, Western civilization.
	And the people in Hong Kong did not want that.
	They protested in the streets, And the Hong Kong police and the administrator there, who is not chosen, by the way, by the people of Hong Kong.
	They do elect legislators, but they do not elect this leader, Carrie Lam.
	She is appointed by the Chinese communists, the mainland communists.
	So we're going to take a look at what's going on with that.
	We're going to take a look at how we can push back in the United States, because the same agenda It's going to be very amazing when you take a look at what the Chinese are doing in terms of education and curriculum there in Hong Kong.
	The same things that they're doing there are being done here in America.
	They've got a five-year plan!
	They've got a common core, and so do we.
	And the values that the Chinese Communist government is pushing to be taught to the Hong Kong children are the same ones that our foreign government in Washington DC, the same foreign values that our foreign government is pushing on Americans.
	On Main Street, pushing in your school.

	You had a man with a knife.
	Covered with blood because he had stabbed a woman.
	Yeah, this hero.
	Running through the streets with a bloody knife, screaming, Allahu Akbar!
	He was chased down by British and Australian people who, you know, because this is Australia, they only had a chair and a milk crate to protect themselves against a guy with a knife.
	They were able to do that, however, overcome him with A lot of people involved in that.
	And although you and I might think that we know what his motivation is, as it was reported by the press, this is what they had to say.
	The suspect is being led away, seen being led away by police.
	Police say they have not yet established a motive.
	They have no idea.
	Why a guy would stab a woman with a knife and run around screaming, trying to stab other people, screaming, Allahu Akbar.
	They just don't have a clue.
	We know exactly what's going on, don't we?

	We're going to be joined later in the program by Alex Newman of The New American.

	We're also going to talk about what's going on in China, both the tariffs and the protests and the moves in China.
	There are a lot of parallels to what is going on here in America, especially when it comes to education, when it comes to free speech, when it comes to being able to peacefully assemble.
	And these people are waving American flags, singing the American anthem, saying they wish they had the Second Amendment.
	We've got a whole generation of young Chinese individuals who have grown up learning how to deal.
	With being tear gassed.
	You've got people commenting on it, how they're looking at each other.
	Oh, that's a nice, that's a Model 6800, isn't it?
	I like that gas mask.
	I'm going to get me one of those.
	I mean, they know how to shut these things down with traffic cones.
	The front lines put a traffic cone over the tear gas, and then secondary guys come up with water and pour it through the top of the cone.
	If that doesn't work, of course, they've got their tear gas masks.
	The journalists are not faring so well, however.
	A lot of them have been injured.
	The Chinese communists have used their power to enact requirements in the educational and the curriculum that is being forced on the kids there, and that has led to earlier riots.
	But this is about them being able to extradite anybody that they disagree with.
	And of course it is a crime to criticize the government.
	They're gradually starting to assert their complete control over Hong Kong.
	That wasn't supposed to happen until 2047, but now they gave them a 50-year period of grace that they were going to have one country, two systems, but it doesn't look like they're going to really wait that long before they assert their power.
	And of course, again, many parallels to what's going on in this country.
	So we're going to have Alex Newman here in studio.

	When we get to that segment, I'm going to get to that in just a moment.
	I want to begin, however, with a story that was in Sydney, Australia.
	The knife man, with a bloody knife, bloody because he had stabbed a woman, running through the streets trying to stab other people, screaming, Allahu Akbar!
	Now, most of the press has focused on the fact that the people there in the streets, several British and Australian individuals, fought him off With a milk crate, with a chair, they pinned him down until the police could get there, the guys that have guns, so they can protect people.
	So a lot of people focused on that.
	And of course the obvious thing is that if this wasn't Australia, where they had confiscated most of the guns, you know there's still a lot of guns out there, but of course they would treat that far more, if they had somebody that defended themselves against this guy with a gun, they would probably treat that far more seriously than this guy.
	But the thing that stood out to me, Is the fact that they are dancing around this in the Australian and the British press, afraid to say that this guy is an Islamic terrorist, that he's a jihadi, when he's screaming, Allahu Akbar!
	What?
	They've got video of him doing that.
	And as it's being reported, they show him being led away by police and they say, the police say they've not yet established a motive.
	It's this political correctness gone wild.
	Absolutely gone wild.
	Take a look at the article that came out yesterday from Paul Joseph Watson on Summit News.
	How the police in the UK warned Facebook users that if they mocked a criminal's hair, this is a guy who was follically challenged, Going bald from the front back severely, but his hair in the mug shot was going straight up.
	See if you can find that picture and pull that up.
	And the police in the UK warned people.
	There he is right there.
	They put his mug shot out.
	Be on the lookout for this guy.
	Okay, and I don't know if that was a hair choice again or a bad mug shot.
	But as people started making jokes about it, like, police are combing the area, the police put out a thing.
	Please remember, harassing and threatening and abusing people on social media can be against the law.
	Be careful on social media.
	If you say something about someone which is grossly offensive, or is of indecent, obscene, or menacing character, then you could be investigated by the police.
	So now, making fun of somebody's hair.
	A criminal.
	That is on the run, is now a hate crime.
	A hate crime.
	Absolutely no room for comedy.
	And yet the police have the audacity to tell us that when somebody is trying to stab everybody, has already stabbed a woman, running around with a bloody knife yelling, Allahu Akbar, we're not to jump to any conclusions.
	And they want to tell us not to make jokes?
	They are the joke, quite frankly, and what we're looking at with this mugshot is nothing but bald-faced tyranny.
	Speaking of faces, the ACLU says that facial recognition software in California, they're talking about how they don't want to have it, and I agree with them.
	I don't think that we ought to be going into this system of Chinese surveillance.
	They're the people who have been chosen.
	To be the test bed for a social credit system, for a biometric surveillance of the entire population, being able to monitor and instantly punish people for any kind of infraction.
	You say the wrong thing, you do the wrong thing.
	You get penalties put against you so that you can't travel, can't get a job, so forth and so on.
	We've talked about that many times.
	But as this is being enacted in the United States, again, they've done the proof of concept in China.
	These same tech tyrants that are shutting down your free speech on social media and elsewhere.
	Have worked with these people in China and now they're working with the American government to put this in.
	Some of the people in California, the ACLU, good for them.
	I disagree with them on many issues.
	I agree with them on this issue.
	Pointing out that facial recognition software mistook one in five California lawmakers for criminals.
	So they showed them the faces of California legislators and it falsely identified, they said, one out of every five of them.
	Well, I looked at that story.
	My take on it was they missed four of them.
	If you look at their legislation, probably all five out of five of the California lawmakers ought to be recognized as criminals.
	Take Kamala Harris, for example.
	She was called out on USA Today.
	Peter Funt, an op-ed contributor, said Kamala Harris owns a handgun and that's disqualifying for a 2020 Democrat in my book.
	Apparently she thinks it's fine to own a handgun for personal safety.
	Now he pointed out that what she was doing was very hypocritical.
	How we have caught Kamala Harris time and again Lying, telling one story to one group, another story to another group.
	She's told people in the past, yeah, I'm sorry, I bought a gun when I was district attorney, I was dealing with a lot of dangerous people, I felt I needed it to protect myself.
	Shame on her!
	Shame on her!
	But then she goes to Iowa, she's talking to a more conservative crowd, right?
	And she tells them, I am a gun owner.
	I've purchased this for my own protection, even though it is now locked up.
	Well, if it's locked up, you're not going to be able to protect yourself with it, right?
	And so this guy is calling her out on her hypocrisy.
	In the same way that Tulsi Gabbard called her out in the debate for her hypocrisy.
	When it came to marijuana, locking up thousands of people, sending them away to jail simply because they had marijuana, then bragging about the fact that she used to smoke it in college while she was listening to a particular group.
	That, of course, was a lie.
	A lot of people focused on the fact that the group did not exist when she was in college.
	But it was virtue signaling.
	It was telling whatever one group wants to hear at a particular time.
	But it was the type of hypocrisy that we've seen from Kamala Harris in many different ways.
	So we're going to be talking when we come back about what's going on in Hong Kong.

	Welcome back as we take a look at what is building up in Hong Kong and as it appears that the Chinese Communist government has gone from using the Hong Kong police to using the organized crime triads to attack protesters.
	Now it appears that they're going to be sending an armed convoy amongst other things to attack the people there.
	And as this has been building up We saw the headline yesterday, which is now out of date, Politico saying Trump is harsh on China, except when it comes to democracy.
	Now China is the country that we ought to be harsh with.
	China is far more of a threat to the United States than Russia or Iran or North Korea.
	Quite frankly, North Korea is kind of the cat's paw for China.
	But they are a threat to us, economically, politically, And President Trump is right to take them on when it comes to trade.
	He's absolutely right.
	And it is not a Trump trade war.
	We've said this many times.
	What President Trump is doing, as he came back to this, he said, look, we're not going to have this imbalance that has been set up by the globalist elite.
	We're not going to have you charge us 25% on goods that we sell to you.
	and then have us charge you nothing or two and a half percent which is what is typically typically two and a half percent versus 25 percent. He said you can come down to our level we can go to zero if you want we can have real free trade if you wish or we can come up to your level. He said we're not reducing it he says alright well I'm holding all the cards you have about an 800 billion dollar I think is what it is maybe I'm wrong on the numbers there but it's
	a giant many many times the amount of goods that they buy from us versus what we buy from them them.
	Many, many multiples.
	I think it's about 800 billion dollars a year that we have as a trade deficit with them.
	So he's holding all the cards, really.
	And yet, he folded.
	Some of this yesterday.
	We'll talk about that as well.
	But when it comes to democracy, many of us, including me, are very concerned that he's remained silent.
	President Trump talks harshly as part of his negotiating tactic.
	He talks harshly to many people about many things.
	I'm not saying that we start a war with China over Hong Kong.
	I think we ought to put America first.
	But when you take a look at what has been done by the military-industrial complex, In Iran, pushing in the US military in that very small area, hoping for a conflict, as they try to provoke something there with Iran.
	I understand that China is much more formidable.
	We do not want to have a war with them, even though these guys want to pick a fight with Iran.
	I don't want to pick a fight with anybody, quite frankly.
	But I think what he could do is he could shame them, instead of remaining silent, I'm very concerned, and always have been from the very beginning with President Trump, that he is more concerned about a great American empire than he's ever been about any principles of individual liberty.
	He has trash-talked the Second Amendment more than he has trash-talked China this last week.
	As he said about China trade, he said, it's been an anchor on us, it's killing us, it won't hurt US jobs, but he hasn't said anything.
	About what they're doing to the people there in Hong Kong.
	And this is going to escalate as China moves to take over Taiwan, which they will be doing.
	What are they going to do about that?
	Again, I want to put America's interests first, but that doesn't mean that we remain silent.
	It doesn't mean that we want to make America a great empire, necessarily, either.
	Because when your focus is on making America a great empire and a powerful country, you have to understand, don't you, that what the founders did, that power corrupts.
	And if your focus is on power and on nationalism and power and so forth, instead of individual liberty, what you're going to wind up doing is becoming a tyrant at home as well.
	And we see that in many different aspects of the way the American government deals with its people.
	So as we look at this, I was absolutely amazed to see that the UN was actually more outspoken about this than President Trump was.
	The UN, which typically takes the side of China, urged Hong Kong to exercise restraint as they are building up a military to invade the area.
	More about that, but first let's talk about the change in the tough talk about tariffs that happened yesterday.
	The stock market, business interests are very happy about this.
	They want to have not free trade.
	They keep saying, we want to have free trade.
	No, they don't want free trade.
	They want China advantaged in trade.
	These people have already moved their manufacturing facilities and so forth abroad and that's their business model.
	They don't want to see that interrupted.
	And so they continue to talk about how they want to have the status quo preserved and that's what President Trump apparently is about to do.
	He is now back down.
	He said he's reconsidered the original September the 1st tariff start date because of the potential effect on American consumers during a critical shopping period.
	He said we're doing this for the Christmas season just in case some of the tariffs would have an impact on U.S.
	customers.
	Well I'm very concerned about that.
	I mean we've seen The impact that it's had on American farmers.
	And the American farmers have stood tough.
	They are the backbone of this country and they have a spine.
	But President Trump is going wobbly on this particular issue because, you know, Christmas and consumer goods.
	And also, two-thirds of the merchandise not being taxed until December includes things like cell phones and laptops.
	Who would that be helping?
	Are we putting the interests of Apple Computer over the interests of the American farmers?
	Are we going to let them shoulder the burden while we take care of Apple and make sure that everybody gets a nice Christmas gift?
	Quite frankly, I think it is Merry Christmas to President Xi.
	Merry Christmas to China.
	As a matter of fact, they came back and mocked President Trump over this.
	The official mouthpiece in China Came back Global Times.
	It is state owned and anything that they say is essentially what the government is saying.
	They came back with Chinese quote-unquote experts who said that the sudden postponing of impending tariffs showed the maximum pressure tactics of the US are losing their bite when it comes to China.
	They said the latest development shows the U.S.
	maximum pressure tactic is not working.
	The quoted expert quote-unquote also said given Washington's flip-flop approach in trade negotiations, Trump is looking for a way out.
	So that's the way it's being spun by them.
	And what they're saying is that the clearly What President Trump is doing is directed at China, according to Axios, a list of goods from China that will not be subject to a 10% tariff until December 15th is made up of products where 75% or more of the 2018 U.S.
	imports of that product came from China.
	So this is definitely pulling back.
	They hope, the U.S.
	hopes, that China will reciprocate by buying U.S.
	agricultural products in the coming weeks, but that may not happen.
	May not happen.
	We'll have to wait and see.
	When we come back, however, we're going to talk about the moves by the Chinese Communists against the people in Hong Kong and the parallels to what is likely to happen here in the United States.

	Welcome back as we look at what is happening, what is building up in Hong Kong.
	Reason Magazine has a headline, Hong Kong protesters use umbrellas, lasers and respirators to evade surveillance and tear gas.
	They point out that there's been massive protests in the past, 2003, 2014.
	They've had situations, as I've pointed out before, where the Chinese Communist government has tried to impose their propaganda on the children of Hong Kong, and the people have pushed back.
	Said, you're not going to do that.
	They've come in, they've smashed up.
	Newspapers and presses, physical newspapers and presses.
	You know the same type of thing that's being done by the Internet surrogates for our government here, as they shut down free speech and free press on the Internet.
	Well, they did it on the Internet there in China first.
	The Great Firewall of China has been legendary for quite some time, blocking what people could see.
	When that wasn't enough in Hong Kong, they actually sent in their thugs To bust up the printing presses in various places.
	And to impose a curriculum to control the minds of the next generation.
	A tactic that we've been using here in America for quite some time.
	But as I point out, they've never seen this type of sustained protest like they have right now in Hong Kong.
	This has gone on for many, many weeks.
	The tenth consecutive week of protests.
	And it has gotten violent, not really so much on the part of the protesters as it has on the part of the police and the triads, the gangs that have been used as surrogates.
	We'll get into that in just a moment.
	So what is going on there?
	Well remember that Hong Kong was a British colony for about a hundred years.
	There was a, well they called it a lease if you will, but it was a lease that was negotiated by the British military and their Navy At the point of a gun to the Chinese nation at that point in time, and they gave them a lease to Hong Kong for a hundred years.
	Well, the British did not have the will or the power to try to keep Hong Kong free.
	As a matter of fact, one of the reasons that Hong Kong was so incredibly free, and it was an example used by Milton Friedman in his series that went back, I think it was in the 1970s, He had a series called Free to Choose.
	He talked about how freedom wins, how it helps people to prosper.
	It's not just a nice thing to have, but it actually affects your quality of life in every possible way.
	So he looked at a free economy versus a government-controlled economy, and his prime example he kept coming back to all the time was Hong Kong.
	Hong Kong was incredibly free because the British didn't want to be bothered with it.
	After they started shutting down their empire, they pretty much just left Hong Kong the way that it was, kind of laissez-faire.
	And mainland China wasn't really a power for quite some time.
	They did not want to challenge that whatsoever.
	And then as they started to rise in power, they were content just to wait for the lease to expire, and then to say, all right, now you've got to turn it back, and that's exactly what they did do.
	Unfortunately, you've got everybody in Hong Kong, millions of people, Who are used to living in a situation that is far freer than what we have here in America.
	As a matter of fact, my personal experience, when we adopted my daughter from China, we spent some time in Hong Kong.
	And it's one of the best cities I've ever been to, in terms of a large city.
	Everybody there was incredibly nice, very friendly, that we met.
	Yeah, yeah, they got crime, sure, but very different from what we saw.
	In big cities like New York or London or Chicago, everybody was very friendly that we met.
	They would see us walking around, we're looking at a map, they walk up to us speaking perfect English, offer to help us find things.
	That was the experience, our personal experience in Hong Kong.
	And that's what happens when people live in a free environment.
	And now what we have is a situation that they called it, they said, well, we'll give you 50 years and we'll gradually transfer this and then after 50 years we will incorporate you into Communist China.
	Well, the people in Hong Kong are not too happy about that and they certainly aren't happy about the process and how it is accelerated.
	They were told it was going to be one country, two systems situation.
	They have the ability to elect their legislators, but not the executive.
	The executive is appointed by the communist Chinese.
	And again, as they've made demands in the past over curriculum and other issues, they've had these demonstrations and conflicts to the extent that now you've got a generation of people in Hong Kong that are not only used to being free, but they're used to fighting for their freedom, unlike Americans.
	We don't do this anymore.
	We don't value our freedom enough even to take our kids out of school for the most part.
	Hong Kong protesters, as Reason reports, are on another level.
	They're using lasers to avoid facial recognition?
	Yeah, you got all those facial recognition cameras everywhere?
	We just shine a laser into them.
	We could learn a lot from these people, quite frankly.
	Pay attention.
	They've been dealing with this before we have, so learn some of these tactics, because you're going to need them here in America if you don't get a president who values individual liberty, the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution.
	And apparently we don't have that.
	We don't have either political party that values this.
	Nobody in any of the parties.
	A cyber war against Chinese artificial intelligence conducted by shining the lasers into the cameras.
	They also know how to deal with tear gas.
	As Anthony Darparan pointed out, he said tear gas simply doesn't scare Hong Kong protesters anymore.
	They have protective gear and they know how to handle it.
	It's a sad state of affairs when a whole generation of Hong Kong youth are experts on the various models of 3M masks and respirators.
	Hey, is that a 6800 he says?
	Oh, that's nice!
	And they know how to handle the tear gas grenades, the shells that are sent after them.
	They run up, they put a traffic cone over them so the fumes can't disseminate, and then they have a second wave of people who come through and pour water through the holes of the cone to put out the tear gas.
	And sometimes when that doesn't work, they put wet towels are applied directly when the cones can't be located.
	So they have developed techniques and we need to learn from them.
	Because we have a right under our Constitution to peacefully assemble and to redress our grievances.
	But governments don't like that.
	That's one of the reasons.
	The founders knew that.
	They had to fight their own government to get their freedoms in the first place.
	And so we don't want to do this again.
	And so we're going to put these conditions in here to say, don't you get it?
	You're here to protect our God-given rights.
	If you become an obstacle, if you try to take them away, then you delegitimize yourself by that very act.
	Because the Constitution that you have to swear to uphold at every level of our government, not just the federal officials, every state and local official has to swear to uphold the Constitution.
	When they violate the Constitution, They violate their authority.
	But they will.
	They will.
	They will be doing that.
	And so when we look at the examples of why these people are upset, here's one.
	This is what's being done in China, reported by the Barnabas Fund, a Christian ministry that looks at Christian persecution.
	They said that they've got popular stories from Western civilization that are being put in the new Chinese school textbooks for fifth grade pupils around the age of 11 so that they can understand other cultures but they don't want them to understand us too well. And so when they put in classics like Robinson Crusoe, The Little Match Girl, things even from Anton Chekhov's story, Vanka.
	It's not just, you know, Hans Christian Andersen, William Defoe, Daniel Defoe, rather.
	Anyway, Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe.
	In these older writings of Western civilization, there would be references in there to the Bible, to God, to Christian beliefs.
	Those are being purged out by the Chinese government.
	Can't have The western God in there, because the Chinese communists are jealous about any God.
	They see themselves as God.
	All tyrants do.
	They want to be omnipotent, they want to be omniscient, know everything about you, and omnipresent, and they don't like any competition.
	Marx didn't like it, neither does President Xi.

	Now, in the Chinese version, they found it necessary to expunge that, right?
	They said that he saved a few books.

	Does that sound like something that would be imposed by the Department of Education, or certainly by Some curriculum organization in California or the universities?
	Oh, we don't want to put out anything that has to do with Christianity.
	So let's just change that from Bibles to some books.
	Hans Christian Andersen's story from 1845, The Little Match Girl.
	In that he said, when a star falls, a soul goes to be with God.
	The Chinese changed that to leaves this world.
	And Anton Chekhov's story.
	Vanka receives a similar treatment, reports WND.
	There is a section about a prayer in church that was eliminated, and every mention of the word Christ is erased from Anton Chekhov's story, a Russian writer.
	Because what we're talking about here is Western civilization that was based and thoroughly integrated with Christian values.
	A single word search for the Bible online has now dropped to zero in China.

	They had things like Tokyo, Japan, Milan, Italy.
	Both Beijing and Shanghai were listed as part of China, but Hong Kong and Macau were listed separately on the shirt as Hong Kong and Macau individually, and to make matters worse for the Chinese Communist government.
	Taipei It was listed the capital of Taiwan.
	Taipei was listed as Taipei, Taiwan.
	Oh, they really hate that.
	As a matter of fact, when we were some friends who adopted from China along with us, her family was from Taiwan.
	And she had that on her autobiography, how they were from Taiwan, they immigrated to the United States and so forth.
	The people who helped with the adoption, who are processing the paperwork for them and so forth, said you better take that out.
	If they see you put down that you are Taiwanese, they will throw away your application.
	And that was more than a decade ago.
	They want to take over Hong Kong, they want to take over Taiwan, they want to take over the Philippines.
	This is why China is our greatest competition.
	And it is surprising to see that President Trump is not using this opportunity to criticize them.

	As they are using the police there against the protesters, as I pointed out, they know how to deal with this.

	And these are engineers that have spent their entire... I mean, they've spent a great deal of time preparing for this career, a great deal of time in school.
	They landed a great paying job.
	With a company that has great benefits, but they're not going to stand by and see Google become a dictatorship over us.
	This is what this guy said.
	He said, I've been collecting these documents for over a year.
	The reason I collected these documents was because I saw something dark and nefarious going on with Google.

	And the judge demanded that he have psychiatric evaluation for a year, even though the psychiatrist said there's nothing wrong with him psychologically.
	He merely donated too much money to the wrong candidate, right?
	The candidate that they don't like.
	And so they use these allegations of psychiatric concern.
	We're so concerned about you.
	Yes, we're all sympathetic to your mental wellness, and we just want to make you safe.
	And as I point out yesterday, the same thing was done to Adrian Schoolcraft, the New York Police Department whistleblower, who was taping what his superiors were doing, the corruption that they were doing, and when his superior found out that he'd been wearing a wire And doing that, they came to his apartment.
	They said, you've been wearing a wire, haven't you?
	Search this guy.
	Yeah, he's got a wire.
	Okay, we know what to do with this guy.
	We're very concerned about your wellness, they said.
	Same thing that Google is saying.
	They took him to, they committed him to a mental institute.
	His father, who was a retired cop, where did he go?
	He couldn't find him.
	He goes to his apartment, starts searching his apartment for clues.
	He finds a recorder that Adrian Schoolcraft had left on the shelf That's the one they didn't get.
	And when he heard that they'd committed him, he started searching and found him in an insane asylum.
	This isn't America!
	This is New York Police Department!
	But this is also Google.
	You've got to be very concerned about these people.
	And it is not just Google that is trying to control our information, just like Communist China, and control our elections.

	Hong Kong protesters wish they had the Second Amendment.
	The world witnessed the biggest protest here in Hong Kong in decades, and yet the top leader here in the city, Carrie Lam, is defiant and defending the extradition bill.
	Tell us how.
	I'm gonna stop the video because there's a lot of music and text on here.
	It's not good for radio.
	We got a lot of radio listeners, a lot of podcast listeners.
	I'll just tell you this.
	They don't want the Second Amendment so they can shoot the Chinese soldiers any more than we want the Second Amendment so that we can shoot American soldiers or American bureaucrats who come to take away our guns or our other liberties.
	It is a deterrent to that type of action.
	When you have The ability to defend yourself, just as our military understands, we understand that the key to peace is to have a strong deterrent.
	And that is true domestically as well.
	If they had the Second Amendment, if they had the ability to own guns, these people who have bravely fought tear gas using umbrellas, who have fought facial recognition using lasers, and they've done this now for 10 weeks.
	They've been beaten by the police.
	They've been beaten by thugs there.
	Journalists who are documenting the protest that have been largely peaceful.
	Nevertheless, on the side of the Hong Kong police, it has not been peaceful.
	As they try to redress their grievances, they have been attacked with tear gas, with pepper spray, and with masked mobs that have beaten them with sticks and with iron metal rods, the triads.
	A peaceful protest had concluded on July 21st when the protesters made their way to the mass transit rail platform to head home.
	As they approached the platform, That was located in a shopping mall.
	A mob of an estimated 100 to 150 people wearing surgical masks and carrying metal rods began beating anyone they saw wearing black, which is the color of the protests.
	Authorities told the police that 45 people were hospitalized in the aftermath of the incident.
	Police took over a half hour to respond.
	People called them immediately with emergency on the cell phones.
	They took over a half hour to show up.
	When they did show up, videos were taken.
	By witnesses showing the police talking to members of the mob, chatting calmly together, as the beatings continued.
	You understand that?
	The police only arrested 12 of the 100 to 150 people, but they confirmed the protesters' suspicions that they were linked to the Triads, Hong Kong's notorious organized crime groups.
	And so when you look at this type of situation, If people have the ability to defend themselves, it is a deterrent from tyranny.
	Just that simple.
	When you have a situation as we have seen repeatedly, as we've gotten involved in wars of conquest for regime change, we've not been able to win those wars when the people have weapons.
	Look at Afghanistan, for example.
	So when you have an armed populace, it not only allows you to fight off tyranny, but it can prevent The type of initiation of force by the government that you don't want to have happen.
	It's very important to have that.
	So when we look at what is going on in China, the Chinese communists are now putting together their military forces to go in and do what the police, what the triad organized crime thugs with their metal pipes have not been able to do.
	They're going to send, they're going to escalate this violence and they are using their ability to control the press And lie to the people in China.
	The Communist Chinese Party propaganda outlet is lying to the 1.3 billion citizens there, telling them that in Hong Kong the protesters are radicals and thugs and they deserve everything that they're going to get.
	They have shut down the airport.
	And as they did, they put up signs saying, so sorry for the inconvenience, we're fighting for our freedom here.
	We're fighting for our lives.
	And yeah, it does inconvenience people a little bit, doesn't it?
	You know, we had some people that were inconvenienced by the American Revolution, by the Boston Tea Party, and so forth.
	Sorry about that, but freedom is more important.
	And that's exactly what these people were telling individuals.
	As Pat Buchanan said, The real issue here, before us, is the expansion of China.
	Pat Buchanan said, China, not Russia, is the greatest threat to America.
	And not just economically, not just with trade.
	Yes, it is a threat.
	But as he pointed out, in June, a Chinese vessel rammed and sank a Philippine fishing boat, leaving its 22 crewmen to drown.
	Some of the fishermen were later rescued by Vietnamese boats.
	The President of the Philippines now has backed down, even though the Chinese are creating an artificial island to create a military base in their territorial waters.
	And then you have China's claim to Taiwan.
	Once they are emboldened with what they're going to be allowed to do in Hong Kong, without even a word of protest from President Trump, they will then move against Taiwan.
	It's just a matter of time.
	They've even said that.
	They have now said that they are not going to allow Military ships, U.S.
	ships, the USS Green Bay, the USS Lake Erie were scheduled to arrive within the next few weeks in Hong Kong.
	They've been doing this for quite some time but they've now been told that for the next few weeks they're not going to be allowed to have any U.S.
	Navy ships make a port of call at Hong Kong because they're going to be busy.
	They've got some things that they need to do there.
	And so as Pat Buchanan points out, so we have everybody freaking out over Russia this and Russia that when in reality the greatest cybercrime of the century was Beijing's theft of two in 2014 of personnel files of 22 million people Employees of the U.S.
	government and the Pentagon, many of them holding top-secret clearances.
	FBI Director James Comey said at the time it was a treasure trove of information about everybody who's worked for, tried to work for, or works for the U.S.
	government.
	A very big deal from a national security standpoint, from a counterintelligence perspective.
	They are the biggest threat.
	And the same types of threats that the Chinese people are seeing, we're being threatened by our own government here in the United States.

	We've interviewed him many times and one of the issues that we've talked about with Alex has been education.
	And as I pointed out earlier in the broadcast, Alex, we now see the same types of things being done in China by the Communist China.
	Chinese trying to impose their curriculum not only on people in China, but also on people in Hong Kong.
	That's been one of the issues that they pushed back against in previous uprisings, demonstrations.
	Western civilization classics to kids in fifth grade about 11 years old, things like Robinson Crusoe, Little Match Girl, but they have to sponge out of that any reference to God or to Christianity, which really percolates through those writings in the 1700s and 1800s, because that was part of their culture.
	That has to be a sponge, and they have a five-year plan to promote the core values of socialism.
	And as we were talking about this during the break, it's pretty much like our core values of socialism, they're being promoted with Common Core here in the United States, isn't it?
	That's exactly what's happening here in the United States, expunging all reference to God.
	I mean, you look at, for example, when they do talk about the Mayflower Compact in the Common Core history books, they'll say, we undertook a voyage dot dot dot to America.
	You know, why did they undertake Du Bois?
	Well, for the glory of God, for the spread of the gospel, for the advancement of the kingdom.
	That's why they said they undertook Du Bois.
	You can't tell the kids that, because First Amendment, Congress shall make no law.
	Unbelievable what's happening.

	But in one of the videos produced by the Common Core people, They proudly explain that kids in Seattle and Chicago will be learning the same thing as kids in Shanghai.
	They used Shanghai twice as an example.
	And that's what we're seeing now.
	It's a global education system.
	God is being completely driven out.
	Liberty, the concepts that have underpinned Western civilization, completely removed so that we can all move into the new world order as they proudly describe it.
	And we have seen this in so many different areas.
	I mean, first we saw the Great Firewall of China, where they controlled what people would be allowed to see and hear.
	That happened overtly this last year with the banniversary of Alex Jones and Infowars, which was last week.
	They started doing that openly.
	They've been doing it more covertly.
	And now we've had yet another whistleblower come out to Project Veritas, going on record, because as he started giving them some documents, saying that he was concerned about how they were controlling not only our free speech, but how they were going to control elections, they decided that they were going to have a wellness check on him.
	So they called the police, using a psychiatric tactic that we've seen used by tyrants everywhere.
	Soviet Union, yeah, but also here in America.
	I mean, they did that to Dinesh D'Souza, they did it to New York Police Department whistleblower and so forth, but him actually kidnapped him out of his apartment and took him to an insane asylum and his father found out about it and got him out.
	So this is the type of thing that is a very common situation.
	So it's not just the problems that we talk about all the time.

	I mean, that's always been the hallmark of a revival, the fact that the father's hearts are turned towards their children.
	If you don't care about your own kids, you're not going to care about the country.

	I mean, if you are going to just go with the default decision, it's going to be your own fault when you wind up having kids that are completely alienated from you.
	You have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.
	How did they begin to think like this?
	How did our culture get this way?
	And you're going to have to live As a punishment, you're going to have to live not only with these kids who now hate you, but you're going to have to live with a country that is going to not respect your freedom or your humanity.
	And people say to me, oh, but I can't afford to take my kids out of the public school system.
	I'm like, oh my goodness, are you kidding me?
	You can't afford to leave them in there.
	Wait until they come back and they're addicted to heroin.
	Wait until they come back and they want to have their genitals mutilated so they can go into the other restroom.
	That's what you can't afford.
	Wait until they hate you and they hate your church and they hate our country.
	Then you're going to see what it really means to not be able to afford something.
	That's what's happening to our kids.
	I tell parents, sending your kids to a public school, there's a small chance they might make it out halfway okay, but you're playing Russian roulette with five bullets in the chamber.

	You know, with regard to the masses of people who are lost, we have no control over that anymore than Aaron did.
	These people who started dancing and worshipping a golden calf.
	There are just some people who are just that way.
	No ears to hear, no eyes to see.
	After I retired from pharmacy, I obtained a degree in education, teaching chemistry and physics to high school students.
	And homeschooling was brand new.
	And I knew that some of the kids, because I'd get visitations by them and their parents at the high school to answer certain questions and work out certain formulas that the parents just couldn't quite help the child with.

	You know, you'll find Christian-focused ones, art-focused ones, music-focused ones.
	You know, we have one where different parents volunteer.
	So, you know, one dad teaches computer programming to the kids because that's his deal.
	We have a mom who teaches Spanish to the kids because that's her native language.
	My wife teaches reading to the littlest ones.
	I teach American history.
	So that's one option.
	Another option that we're involved in is classical conversations.
	That's a little bit more structured.
	It's a nationwide thing, but the kids come together once a week and interact with other children.
	But the reality is, there have been studies on this, and you find the data over at the National Home Education Research Institute, that's NHERI.org, and they've looked at the socialization of homeschooled children.
	What they've found is that homeschoolers perform better on every single metric.
	So they have less problem behaviors, less dependence on their peers, better communication skills, Better able to interact with children and adults of all ages.
	So, really, you know, homeschoolers do better on every metric, including the socialization.
	And in today's world, you know, back in the 70s, 80s, when homeschooling was kind of a new, well, at least a revived thing, because it had been... You were pretty much on your own, yeah.
	Right.
	People were isolated.
	You had to hide.
	You know, CPS would come and grab your kids.
	So, you know, you didn't have that option.
	My first exposure to homeschooling was with the Libertarian Party, and they had the guy there that was one of the founders.
	And Carl Hess.
	And he was a speechwriter for Barry Goldwater.
	And his mom homeschooled him in the 30s.
	And he said, we were constantly changing our home just to keep one step ahead of the truant officer, but she was determined that she was going to raise him to think independently.
	And this is the guy that wrote the line, extremism and defense of liberty is no vice, you know, so anyway.
	So yeah, it panned out for him, but it was a risky thing for him.
	Yeah, and that fight is coming.
	I was telling you during the break, I came from Sweden, I lived there most of the last decade, certainly not on purpose, and it's like coming from the future.
	They criminalized homeschooling there a few years ago, and even before that, they were kidnapping homeschooled children.
	Dominique Johansson, this was a homeschooled child, the parents didn't give the proper permits or whatever, and they tried to leave the country because the government was harassing them.
	They actually sent armed storm troopers onto this airplane, Turkish Airlines.
	Their family was on their way out to India, where the mother was from, and they grabbed that child, and the parents haven't seen him for years now because of homeschooling.
	And that fight is coming to America, so we need to be on our guard.
	But, you know, you said something, I think, really insightful.
	You almost can't do worse.
	And I tell parents at these talks, you know, you can put your kid in a closet for 12 years, and I'm only half-kid.
	I'm kidding.
	And they would do better than 12 years in a government school.
	Because the government school will indoctrinate them, will dumb them down.
	They've got 100 years of psychological research now to manipulate the children's behavior, to manipulate their values.
	And then what we see is these kids come out, they can't read, they can't think.
	They know everything about the gender spectrum and, you know, alleged man-made global warming, but they know nothing about how to think, about what the Bible says, about what our Constitution says, our history.
	And that's what they really need to know, how to do math and how to read so they can educate themselves.
	It's a tragedy of immense proportions.
	And, you know, for parents who are concerned about the socialization, there are more homeschool resources today, more co-ops than probably at any time in human history.
	So do a quick search.
	It's really expanded.
	And we do that as well.
	We do the homeschool co-op.
	And that gets them a circle of friends.
	It also gets them exposed to a lot of other things.
	The other side of this, you're talking about, well, we can't do worse.
	You know, kids who are in school, they have their own special set of problems that they deal with.
	And one of those is the age segregation and what that breeds in school.
	I know because I went through the system.
	You wind up with a system where you have contempt for kids that are just a year or two younger than you.
	You're absolutely in awe of somebody that's a year or two older than you.
	You can't talk to an adult.
	That's not the situation with the homeschoolers that we know.
	They talk to kids of all ages.
	They talk to adults just as they would anybody else.
	And that's why we say, you know, socialization, that's something that they actually excel at.

	My husband and I have two small children.
	We have a four-year-old and a soon-to-be two-year-old.
	And the questions are rising.
	What are we going to do?
	Are we going to continue to do private school?
	Are we going to continue to homeschool?
	But I wanted to bring a quick one up.
	I recently took my children to the library.
	And we're here in High Point, North Carolina, and it's a predominantly conservative area.
	We're here in the Bible Belt.
	We're part of a great church community.
	I mean, God forbid there's not a church every 15 feet out here, but... We took them into the library, and this was maybe a couple days after the El Paso shooting.
	And this is in the children's area, in the public library, and there's several computer stations where kids can navigate their way throughout the library.
	And right away, you're immediately propagandized with mass shootings in America, Books with titles like how white nationalism is taking over the US, everything is anti-Trump, everything is anti-family, anti-America.
	I was like, we've got to make this a quick trip, kids.
	So I take them upstairs, I say maybe we can go upstairs and get a quick movie.
	And staring me right in the face, I couldn't believe it, was the American flag hanging next to the Communist flag.
	At my point.
	And I walk up to it.
	It drew me in, because I said, what is this?
	And I walk up.
	Nobody said anything.
	There was a lady behind the desk, but she heard me.
	I said, is this for real?
	I mean, and then I got home and I told my husband, and I said, you know, I don't even want to guess at what's going on in the public school system right now, because if this is what's going on in the library, then, you know, we just we don't want any part of that.
	Well, I tell you, you know, I'll let Alex comment on this, but I'll just say this.
	I never did run away from what the public was teaching, or what the public was saying, and what the narrative from the establishment was.
	We would always teach that, and then we would counter it.
	Which is exactly what they do in the schools to what you're teaching your children.
	your values. They deconstruct your values. So when you have them with you, what you can do is you can deconstruct the propaganda that is being put out by the establishment press. That's basically what I do here on this program. It's what I did with my kids for years and years. Your comments, Alex.

	And, you know, I think parents need to understand this.
	If that's what's happening in the library, where parents can come in and see, I mean, it's the same politicians, the same bureaucrats who run the public school system and the libraries and, you know, all the rest of the bureaucracies.
	What do you think they're doing when parents aren't looking?

	What do you think they're flashing on the computer screens that your children are using at the public school system?
	And the sort of stuff you described is exactly what we're seeing.
	And the same thing with the Drag Queen Story Hour, where they're bringing, you know, here in Texas, one of them was a pedophile, a convicted sex offender, child molester.
	They're dressing these guys up as women with makeup, and they put demon horns on, I guess just so you know, they come straight from the pit of hell, and they come in and they read LGBT stories.
	And this is happening in libraries, and it's happening in public school classrooms.
	Kindergartens, first grade, second grade, the propaganda.
	is off the charts.
	And, you know, you come from a conservative community.
	That's one of the points that I make to people, is that, you know, you think you're in Oklahoma, you think you're in South Carolina, so you're okay.
	No, right?
	This is a nationwide phenomenon.
	This is not isolated to California and New York and Illinois.
	Education in the curriculum has been taken over by the federal government.
	A long time ago.
	And we should have shut down.
	Reagan said he was going to shut down the Department of Education.
	It was less than four years old when he took office.
	He campaigned to shut it down.
	Instead, they didn't do anything.
	And they nurtured that demon in the crib.
	And now it's going global.
	Global too.
	We've got a whole article in here.
	I spent a good amount of time on it in my talk.
	The globalization of this all.
	We now have a world core curriculum.
	People don't realize the UN has a world core curriculum and the resemblance of the common core is more than coincidental.
	And the guy who wrote this thing, Robert Mueller, he was the Assistant Secretary General of the UN.
	People should read what he wrote.
	He called the UN the body of Christ that was going to bring us to this new planetary human evolution.
	And in the teacher's manual for his World Corps curriculum, which he said should be used in every school on the planet, he said the underlying philosophy upon which it's based will be found in the books of Alice Bailey.
	You know, to most Americans that means nothing.
	Well, the entire leadership of the UN knows exactly who she is.
	She was the founder of the Lucifer Publishing Company.
	So these people have a very evil agenda.
	We're involved in a spiritual battle.
	And parents, you don't want to feed your children to the enemy.
	The children will come out the other end completely destroyed.

	You see, okay, it seems like it's okay.
	The last bullet point here says, create opportunities for open and honest conversations about race, gender, social class, cultural and beliefs that lead to equity for all families and students.

	Now if you look on the fifth paragraph here, he says, no, third paragraph, fourth paragraph, he says equity is the focus for Thursday, August 29th.
	He says he's excited to welcome national experts on diversity, multiculturalism, and social justice.

	Oh yeah, I mean, they had the plans drawn up for a NAFTA highway and all this other stuff.
	Right through Texas!
	Yeah, they had the CFR, you know, and these other individuals were putting together think tanks.
	One of them had Ted Cruz's wife, and they were talking about how they were going to use the Department of Homeland Security to patrol the border around Mexico, America, and Canada.
	They were going to have a common border that went around those three countries.
	So many different areas.
	They had already laid out the blueprints and the plans and they were implementing it and you guys were able to stop it because if people understand what is being done, then they can, they're not going to like it.
	And that's the whole thing about what's going on with education.
	If they understand what this plan is, who's behind it, what the agenda is, what it's going to do to your children, you're going to stop this if you understand And if you give this to people and they understand what this is about, they're going to stop it as well.

	Well, I'm a boomer grandma, and I homeschool my grandchildren.
	Of course, their mom and dad have to work.
	And I have used books that I learned from when I was in school in the 50s and the 60s.

	And there are wonderful workbooks nowadays that you can even buy at Costco at this time of year from pre-K all the way to 8th grade.
	It has every subject you can imagine.
	The children get socialization when they go to the YMCA or when they go to the zoo or the science center.
	They go camping.
	We learn all sorts of things every day about butterflies.
	My three-year-old grandchild knows the difference between a norwall and a sperm whale and a leatherback and a tortoise.
	These are things that you learn every day.
	Learning is an experience that's done every day.
	And when the two older children, who I thought were basically 3rd grader, 2nd grader reading, even though they were 10 and 9, were actually evaluated by the teacher that has to be done here in Western Pennsylvania, she evaluated them as 5th graders.
	Wow, that's excellent.
	You're a good example, Phyllis, of the saying that education is not the filling of a bucket, but it's the lighting of a fire.
	If you have a passion for learning, you're going to transfer that to your children.
	And they're going to be free to be able to explore what they want to.

	I say, hey, if your son and your daughter-in-law or, you know, your children need to both work to be able to make ends meet, you can play a huge role in there.
	First of all, in talking to them and explaining them the urgency of getting the kids out.
	And second of all, in supporting them.
	You know, maybe one of them can work part-time and you can step in and homeschool for a day or two and volunteer.
	Take them to the museum, take them to the zoo, teach them stuff.
	And, you know, that's so important to get the knowledge passed down through the generations.
	And to have a relationship with them.
	Exactly.
	You know, that's one of the key things when people talk about socialization.
	I always say, well, you know, you think about this.
	When your kids go to school, we talk about the rigid age segregation year by year.
	So often, you see the kids who are very close before they went to school, they become alienated from each other.
	They become bonded to the kids within their school.
	They become more closely bonded to their teachers than they do to their parents.
	More closely bonded to their classmates than they do to their siblings.
	And that's one of the strong points of homeschooling.
	Absolutely it is.
	And, you know, Phil has had another great point there, too, about these older textbooks.
	I just love that.
	That's exactly what we do.
	In fact, we've gone, our math program that we use, we started off using one from the University of California that's more than 100 years old, and it's phenomenal.
	My wife's mom is a public school teacher, was a public school teacher, and she talked to my oldest son, who was, I think, seven at the time, said, this kid's doing math on a sixth, seventh, eighth grade level, and we almost put no effort into it.
	It's just because we're using better tools.
	Yeah.
	We've got all kinds of resources like that, and I do encourage people, don't use the garbage that's being printed today that's aligned with Common Core.
	Do your research.
	There's a lot of great resources out there.
	We have the Freedom Project Academy.
	It's a school I work with.
	We've got our whole textbook list, so if you want to look at that, see what would be a good resource for your children, you can pull the book name right off there and order it yourself.
	You know, Alphaphonics is a great tool for teaching reading.
	We had my six-year-olds reading a King James Bible by the time they were six years old.
	Very little effort.
	Idiot-proof.
	And it's differences in just the way that they approach things.
	For example, you know, we're talking about math during the break, and I said I always struggled with math.
	I was worried about going into engineering, and it was because of the way that it was being taught, the new math.
	I found a textbook that was from the Naval Academy about trigonometry, and that was great, and it really lit a fire in me to want to learn more.
	And it was all about word problems.
	It was actually practical applications as opposed to theoretical proofs and theorems and so forth.
	It's like, well, you know, you see this ship over there, you measure the angle, what's the distance and so forth, or it was about ballistics, it was about spherical navigation, you know, on the globe.
	So it had all these real-world practical applications.
	It got much deeper into trig than they did in their superficial texts, but it really lights the fire when you can see something like that.
	Same thing with reading.
	you know, phonics versus C&C approach, that type of thing.
	Tried and true approaches are very valuable. But let's get to some of our other callers who've been holding.
	Let's go to Kyle in South Carolina. Go ahead, Kyle, thank you for holding.
	Alright, so how do we combat all the liberalism in the schools? Good question.
	And you know, what I say to parents is you need to treat these buildings as if they were on fire, right?
	The very first step when you see that the building's on fire is you grab your child and you get them out, right?
	So that's the first step.
	Once you've done that, then we can start thinking about the fire.
	And I use the fire, I think it's an appropriate analogy in more ways than one, but it's even more serious than that because a fire will just hurt you physically.
	Uh, what's happening in the public school system will hurt you physically, mentally, spiritually, academically, intellectually, in every possible way you're going to be hurt.
	So step one, rescue your children from the fire.
	Step two, now let's think about the fire.
	What do we do about the fire?
	And then we call the firefighters.
	And it'll still burn down the community.
	That's why you talk about, you know, first you rescue our children.
	Now we got to save the community as well.
	Exactly.
	And so, you know, the way I see it now, the idea that we're going to be able to reform these public schools, I think is, is a dream.
	It's not possible.
	And the reason why is they're doing exactly what they were designed to do.
	You know, people think the schools got hijacked.
	They didn't get hijacked.
	The people who created them wanted exactly what we're seeing now.
	John Dewey was a self-declared socialist.
	He wanted communism.
	He went to the Soviet Union and wrote about how great it was.
	This is the guy who's credited as being the founding father of our public school system.
	He wrote the first Humanist Manifesto.
	We reject the existence of God.
	We want to get rid of the profit motive.
	We want equal distribution of the means of production.
	This is communism.
	It always ends the same in every place.
	So, you know, if you take your car to the mechanic and it's working perfectly and you say, fix it, he's going to look at you like there's something wrong with you.
	Because the car is running just fine.
	That's exactly the situation.
	So I think we need to abandon the sinking ship that are the public schools.
	Get as many children out as we possibly can.
	The system couldn't survive 20-30% of the children leaving.
	The whole thing would collapse.
	Parents would wake up to what was going on.
	It makes me think back to Gideon, too.
	God used Gideon and 300 men to destroy a massive army.
	We don't need to get every last child out of the public schools.
	If we get 20-30% of them, the whole system will collapse.
	People will realize we've been had.
	We'll have a renaissance of liberty, of learning, of intellectual pursuits.
	That's why it's so important.
	That's what's important with this magazine.
	Whenever you hear somebody, a politician or somebody in the media saying, our schools are failing.
	No they're not!
	They're succeeding.
	They're doing exactly as you pointed out.
	What they were designed to do.
	They're not failing.
	You're failing to understand what the problem is.

	But second of all, just like you said, you know, they have a church building that's open five or six days a week.
	There's nothing going on there.
	Maybe a Bible study Wednesday night.
	Put that building to use.
	You know, there's more churches in America than there are public schools.
	Build a school there if you need help.
	That used to be what churches were known for.
	Education.
	That used to be their main thing that they hung out on.
	Yeah, and that's what we need to get back to.
	And you know, if a pastor says, well, I got a small church, we can't do that.
	We've got the Freedom Project Academy.
	It's an online K-12 Christian school.
	We can partner with your church.
	Bring a school right in there.
	You just need some computers and adult chaperone and some children.
	And then, you know, if you're a small church, get together with 10 other pastors.
	Set up a school there.
	There's infinite numbers of resources now.
	As you mentioned, the homeschool curricula that are out there are great.
	Pastors can put those right into the school.
	And you can get parents and grandparents to volunteer their time to do this.
	It doesn't have to be a multi-million dollar operation.
	So the listeners, if you guys know pastors who aren't sounding the alarm, who don't have a Christian school, go talk to them.
	Get them a copy of this magazine and get them involved in this fight.
	They are going to be the most important factor here.
	If we can get the pastors to speak out, parents will wake up, grandparents will wake up, and we'll fix this.
	Train up a child in the way he should go.
	You know, I remember a pastor talking about taking his kid decades and decades ago to school, and they were talking about this wonderful education program that they had, and they were talking about how it worked and everything.
	He raised his hand and said, I'm sorry, what is the purpose of this?
	And that just kind of stopped them cold.
	Because the teacher didn't know what the purpose was, right?
	And it's like, well, if you don't know what the purpose is, you're not You know, you have to have an end in mind, okay?
	And so nobody better than the pastor is to have that end in mind.

	At the last graduation ceremony for my college that I went to in California, the guy that was giving the speech talking about how diverse of a school we are, how Half the school's Hispanic, 70% are female, and he's talking about being pro-abortion and pro all these liberal agendas.
	And a friend of mine kind of does a little, you know, boo to himself, and everybody's giving him a dirty look, and just talking to people that I know there.
	If you say anything that goes against what they say, they don't want to associate with you.
	I have a friend that's an environmental science major, and I was trying to explain to her that the rate that the Earth's warming up might not be what everybody's saying it is.
	She says, well, I'm an environmental science major, so I know what I'm talking about.
	Like, well, you don't have a degree in it, you know, it's just what your professors are telling you.
	Why don't you look something up, you know, outside of what they're telling you?
	And she kind of just got upset and walked away.
	So it's just interesting that they say that there's such a diverse school, but they're really not interested in diversity of thought.
	That's right, yeah.
	I'm always reminded of the Wright Brothers, who are homeschooled, who decided that they weren't going to trust the conventional wisdom about lift ratios have been calculated, which is what the establishment was doing, so they did their own experiments, and they created their own tables, and they got something that worked.
	So you should always, especially if you're doing science, you should always question the established consensus.
	That's what science is.
	It's about skepticism.
	It's about going back and re-evaluating this.
	But your comments, because I know that you grew up in Mexico.
	Yeah, the whole diversity thing is such a hoax.
	I grew up, spent seven years in Mexico, more time than any other place.
	I've lived in Brazil, South Africa.
	Globalism, I've seen diversity, people expect me to be the biggest globalist.
	The reality is I'm an Americanist because I know what we have here and how amazing and how valuable and how important it is to preserve that.
	And so when these people talk about diversity, what they really mean is get rid of Christianity, get rid of Western civilization, and you have to agree with us.
	And that's the opposite of diversity.
	Diversity is, you know, freedom of thought, freedom of speech, different opinions, different, you know, debate, discussion.
	And they want to shut all that down and just, you know, divide us up based on what, how much melanin you have in your skin.
	I mean, it's just, it's absurd stuff.
	And we need to call them on this.
	They're not pro-diversity, they're anti-diversity.
	Best example of that is Europe.
	Look at how they're trying to take that rich tapestry of all these different cultures and architectures and music and language and dumb it down into this common gray area.
	That's exactly what you're seeing.
	And that's what they'll do to the world if they get their way.
	You know, we won't have a diversity of cultures and intellectual pursuits and histories and heritages.
	We'll just be one giant blob of really serfs, of slaves under their global totalitarianism.
	And they want to bring people in with this open borders agenda because then that allows them to basically hit the reset button.
	And we're going to now, this is a new situation, coming into a new country.
	We're going to now define for you what education is.
	We're going to define what science and culture and so forth is.
	That's why they have the open borders.
	That's why this is so important for them.

	I have five kids.
	They're kind of spread out.
	My oldest are in their 20s.
	My youngest are in their early teens.
	They're really, really pushing the homosexual agenda in school.
	As a matter of fact, my second oldest daughter, she is really confused.
	It's really horrible.
	Screams at me about rights and all the stuff they steal out to her in homework even.

	And thank goodness she's kind of made sense of it all and she's back into liking boys now.
	But she was going back and forth, liking boys and girls.
	Here in Canada, the education system is hilarious.
	I'm not going to say tree-hogging things, but, you know, environmentalism to scare people.

	They're not interested in teaching Johnny how to read and write.
	As we said before, they're doing exactly what they were designed to do.
	They're not failing.
	They have a different agenda, and it is about completely rewriting our culture, our history, and about gender confusion now.
	That's a big part of it, isn't it, Alex?

	I gave a speech on education in Calgary not too many months ago.
	And Canada is a little bit ahead of us, but we're seeing the same things.
	And if you want to see what the future looks like, if we allow this to continue, you can look up at Canada.
	In Alberta even, which is one of the most freedom-minded provinces out there, they're forcing the Christian schools to stop teaching that marriage is between a man and a woman.
	They can't teach that God created the male and female anymore.
	That's hate speech now.
	In Sweden and in the UK, they're now putting pastors in prison for pointing out obvious biological facts, for pointing out that God defined marriage as a man and a woman.
	These people are not tolerant.
	Oh, they're the opposite of tolerant.
	And they accuse you of being bullying and so forth and yet they bully anybody that they disagree with.
	They do not tolerate anything that they disagree with.
	Oh, they're hateful in the extreme.
	I wrote an article about a drag queen they brought in Colorado to a middle school for career day and they rounded up this big mob of haters and they started bombarding me.
	You should kill yourself because you're not tolerant.
	Wait a minute, you don't see the irony here?
	I should die because I don't agree that we need to present drag queens to middle schoolers?
	It's sick, and we need to realize everything we love, everything we hold dear is on the line, and the only way we're going to fix this is the education.
	It transcends all the other issues.
	Gun rights, saving unborn babies, reducing the size and scope of government, preserving our Constitution.
	We're going to lose every one of those battles if we allow them to brainwash 87% of our kids, which is how many are in the public schools right now, and we have a real chance at preserving our culture and our liberties if we manage to rescue our children.
	Your analogy was spot on.
	You've got to get your kid out of the burning building, and then you've got to stop that fire from destroying the entire community.

	It's not been widely reported, and I haven't seen the media asking any of the candidates who have been building hate against ICE facilities called on to deny this, but yesterday, around 3 a.m.
	in the morning, yesterday morning, shots were fired in the windows of a U.S.
	Immigration and Customs Enforcement office near San Antonio.
	FBI Special Agent in Charge Christopher Combs called it a targeted attack.
	He said to fire indiscriminately into any building, especially a federal facility, is not an act of protest.
	It is an act of violence.
	And in this case, it is an act of violence that could have resulted in the assassination of a federal employee.
	Uh, and so they're going to be investigating this, but of course the press is not going to be reporting it, and you're not going to see anybody asking any of these candidates, anybody like Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders or Cory Booker or Kamala Harris, AOC or Ilhan Omar.
	You saw the questions asked of them.
	Will you disavow this guy?
	Basically repeated all your talking points as he attacked a nice facility and was subsequently killed as he was attacking it.
	And they just stared straight ahead and would not respond.

	And of course, if you spend so much time in school, as many of these kids do, they probably don't know who you are.

	But I would like to comment on a concern that a previous caller had about the socialization of his children in the public school system and my response David would be do you really want the kids in the public school system socializing your children? I don't. Yeah just go back and read Lord of the Flies if you want to know how that turns out.
	Well, I've never read it, but that's one of the reasons my wife and I decided to send our kids to a private Christian school, even though I've got three... I'm a public school teacher, I don't work full-time, but I do know what goes on in the public schools, and we decided about ten years ago to send our two kids to a very good Christian private school.
	And at the time, David, and this is my main point I would like to make, We didn't know if we were going to be able to financially handle the added expense that we would incur as a result.
	But you know what we did?
	We dedicated it to the Lord.
	And as a result, the Lord gave me the financial capacity to fulfill that very important transition.
	Oh, that's real important.
	That's right.
	Yeah, that's right.
	You know, if you trust God, we have seen in our lives, just as you have many times, if you take that step in obedience, God will make that up.
	Absolutely.
	Absolutely, yeah.
	So it is a matter of faith.
	And it is a very important step that, you know, unfortunately we do have to make.
	And there may have been one time where the government was able to educate our students with relative effectiveness under the benevolent influence of Christianity, but that's no longer the case in our country, David.

	And if you don't put your children first, you aren't going to have a future.
	And cultures that succeed, Parents put their children first.
	If you don't put your children first, if you don't want to have children, you are a dying culture.
	And your family is dying.
	That's the takeaway that you need to think about here.

	I just got my kids enrolled into a charter school and it's through Hillsdale College and it's a classical education kind of like Alex Newman talks about and really good curriculum and all that.
	So if anybody wants to look into it.
	Well, the Barney Charter School Initiative.
	And there's so many of them out there.
	You talk about Hillsdale.
	Ron Paul's got a curriculum.
	There's a lot of different approaches that people take.
	And just take a look at it and what is appropriate for your children and their style of learning.
	See, that's one of the biggest problems with the government running schools.
	They have a one-size-fits-all.
	And it's kind of the same thing as if you imagine if the government was going to clothe your children.
	And you send them to the government to get clothes, and they have the same size shoes for everybody, the same size pants and shirts for everybody, and it's not going to fit everybody.
	And that's going to be what you're going to find with education.
	You need to take a look at this, what works for your family, what works for your children.
	You need to understand that you're not going to be sitting there at a podium lecturing the kids sitting in chairs like you went to school.
	It's going to be a more informal situation.
	You don't need to reconstruct school at home.
	Now some people do that and they do that successfully.
	They can get online curriculum and they can basically have their kids log on to a classroom environment.
	That's fine if that works for you.
	You don't have to do that.
	That's one of the things that I think misconceptions that drive many people away from homeschooling is that they think that they have to be exactly what they experienced and that's not true.
	There's a whole line of education called unschooling.
	Which is really kind of more along the lines of what my family did.
	We didn't have anything that was really rigidly structured.
	So whatever style fits your family, Ron Paul has got an educational and constitutional curriculum as well.

	Just to remind you that we have yet another Project Veritas whistleblower who has blown the whistle on what's going on at Google.
	This is a person who had leaked internal documents to Project Veritas.
	And has now gone public and on the record.
	Why?
	Because people at Google figured out who had leaked the document and then, as he points out, he was identified by an anonymous account he believes belongs to a Google employee.
	That anonymous account identified him on social media as a leaker.
	And then subsequent to that, he was approached by law enforcement at his residence in California, and according to the San Francisco police, he said it was a call from Google saying that they wanted a wellness check on him.
	Notice how similar this is to the red flag gun laws that have been proposed by Lindsey Graham, by President Trump, and by others in the Republican Party, as well as the Democrats.
	A wellness check using the beard of the psychiatry concern.
	We're concerned about your sanity, we have to tell you.
	That's always been the tool of tyrants, as I've said.
	And isn't it interesting that they use it to come after, here in America, not only your Second Amendment rights, but also your First Amendment rights.
	And we've seen this happen, as I pointed out yesterday, with Dinesh D'Souza, who was sent to prison because he gave too much money to the wrong person.
	And part of that Was to pretend that he needed psychiatric help, even though he had a psychiatrist to examine him.
	So there's absolutely nothing wrong with him.
	He gave $25,000 instead of $2,500 to a candidate.
	That's typically done with a fine, but that was in his case.
	He got a jail sentence and a psychiatric condemnation.
	And that's what we have to be concerned about.
	This is what he said about the police visit.
	This is what you can expect if we go down this path of red flag gun laws.
	You can expect the kinds of red flags to be used against any kind of individual liberty, any kind of conduct.
	That the authorities don't like and understand that these corporations like Google are exercising near-governmental authority.
	It is a private-public partnership to control us.
	These people are going to be running smart cities.
	Google has already set up a Sidewalk Labs, a prototype smart city.
	They want to control your physical space the same way they're controlling the Internet.
	But this is what he said.
	He said the police said they got in the gate, the police.
	They started banging on my door.
	The police decided they were going to call in additional forces.
	They called in the FBI.
	They called in the SWAT team.
	They called in a bomb squad.
	Why?
	Because he had been swatted, essentially, by Google.
	He said, this is the way that Google tries to intimidate their employees that go rogue on the company.
	And what he was concerned about, as he pointed out, he said he was concerned that they were not only going to use their power to tamper with the elections, but that they would use that tampering with the elections to essentially overthrow the United States.
	Peter Thiel has also said that globalist Google is in bed with the Chinese military and they must be investigated by the FBI and the CIA.
	He said he described Google's political culture as globalist, as post-national, and he said they are incredibly insular and incurious about real problems outside their own Silicon Valley bubble.
	And that's true.
	That defines our educational institutions as well.

	I mean, the best thing to do would be to call Homeschool Legal Defense Association if people want to know what the laws are in their state.
	And you always ought to support that organization.
	They help to establish the legal right to homeschool in many different places.
	They've come to bat for anybody that gets into legal issues.
	If you've got a disgruntled neighbor that doesn't like you and calls CPS and says, oh, these people are abusing their kids because they're homeschooling.
	Home School Legal Defense Association will be there for you.
	So always, if you're doing that, call them for legal advice.
	I can't give legal advice, but I can just say this.
	What you do inside your family and inside your home, you can represent that to people on the outside in a number of different ways.
	But that's as far as I'm going to go with that.
	You can certainly do cooperative types of things, informal relationships.
	I mean, if you have some kind of a A situation that is for hire, where you're paying people to do that, that's going to be very difficult to do in many states because then they're going to require accreditation or something like that.
	But if you've got kind of just an exchange for services where you have a network of people, that works out great in a number of different ways, as Alex Newman was pointing out.
	You bring together parents who have expertise in different areas and you can exchange those periods of time with each other.
	You can bring in the kids and it's just a social thing at that point.
	It's not being done for profit.
	You can approach that.
	But again, if you want any legal advice, the people to talk to are the Homeschool Legal Defense Association.
	And congratulations to you for what you've been able to do.
	It's always important for people to hear a success story and to know that they can really do that in the modern world.
	It still is possible to take control of your life in many different ways and to have a freer lifestyle.
	Always go back to Harry Brown's book.
	How I found freedom in an unfree world or something like that.
	It was a great example of how to get outside of the system and try to find freedom as you live in this society that we have that's constantly trying to enclose itself around us.

	I was homeschooled from Grace.

	my mom just kind of let me do it myself and because I was a kid I never really did it.
	And I did maybe about six months worth of schooling in that entire three-year period, but every year at the end of the year I took the test and I passed it with flying colors.
	Yeah, because you can't really do much worse than what they're doing in the schools.
	Exactly right. So then I got put into a Christian school and even in the Christian school there was just there's just not enough care.
	I mean, the largest class graduated with my class with 16 kids and everybody passed with honors, but all these kids were cheating and they were just, there's terrible kids because most of the, you know, all the kids get kicked out of public school.
	Parents push, push them into a private school.
	A lot of these kids were actually Satanists.
	There's one guy, his parents were, you know, in a Satanist band and they're bringing him to a Christian school and it's like, whoa, it just blows your mind.
	But I just wanted to tie that in with, Um, the education that not only our kids are getting, but adults are getting.
	Because I had a friend, I had a friend that recently went into the, uh, police force and he was a very constitutional man.
	He knew about, like, you know, the Clintons.
	He was pretty well plugged into the things going on.
	But after, you know, weeks and weeks of this, um, training education, I guess you can call it, he starts telling me things like, oh, well, you know, Oath Keepers and Sovereign Citizens, those are domestic terrorists.
	Yes, exactly.
	I'm like, no man, those are your people.
	Those are the officers that are actually doing the Lord's work.
	Well, you know, it's the Ash Experiment all over again, you know, that's been proven.
	It's a psychological tactic, and they understand that even if you know the obvious answer that they would give people about how long a line is, they know that if everybody else in the group goes the other way, that they can pull about two-thirds of the people that other way.
