	It's kind of interesting, as I've been gone, to take a look at the rabid feasting over gun control immediately being wiped off by this death of Jeffrey Epstein over the weekend.
	And I want to say that we told you so, and of course we did tell you so.
	We told you he'd be suicided.
	We got all these people putting out their conspiracy theories.
	People like Joe Scarborough.
	Oh, it's the Russians and many people in Hollywood.
	Russian, Russian, Russian.
	Well, there really is a Russian cover-up, a Russian conspiracy going on, but it doesn't have anything to do with Jeffrey Epstein.
	It has to do with a massive radiation accident, nuclear accident in Russia.
	Have you heard anything about that?
	Isn't that curious we don't hear anything about a major nuclear accident in Russia?
	We're just so caught up because, you know, Jeffrey Epstein is just so sexy.
	You know, all this talk about Victoria's Secret and vibrators and suicides and Clintonsides and so forth.
	Folks, the real story here isn't that the elites would kill somebody to keep something secret.
	This has been going on for quite some time.
	We have people who were speaking to Jeffrey Epstein before he died.
	Friends who said, yeah, I visited him.
	He was in great spirits.
	He was adapting to this and so forth.
	I had told the guards that somebody had attempted to kill him.
	He said he wasn't in any mood to commit suicide.
	He wasn't severely depressed.
	We've seen this before.
	Alex Jones interviewed the DC Madam, who had a lot of information, kind of like Jeffrey Epstein.
	On all the prurient habits of all these political elites and other elites.
	And he said, this is a very dangerous situation to her in her final interview before she was suicided.
	He said, you're not thinking about committing suicide.
	What is your mental?
	No, no, no, no, no.
	I'm going to fight this.
	You know, I'm absolutely not.
	No, no, no.
	She was very clear.
	Not going to commit suicide.
	We saw the same thing with Gary Webb.
	Dark Alliance.
	Where he was exposing the Deep State and how it had used the, gone from the Iran-Contra.
	That was only the tip of the iceberg.
	Iran-Contra.
	Yeah, we took Iran, the most dangerous country on earth, as we were told at the time.
	Still being told that.
	And we sold them weapons.
	Sold them weapons so that we could get money under the table to conduct a covert war.
	And then when that wasn't enough, we started the crack cocaine epidemic to fund that war.
	And when Gary Webb exposed it, he first got a journalist prize, and then you had the LA Times set up an entire department to discredit him.
	And after they assassinated his character, they assassinated him.
	We saw the same thing with Aaron Schwartz, the guy who fought and opposed CISPA.
	CISPA, remember that?
	Many times I brought that legislation up to protect corporations from any liability for turning over your private information to the government.
	Don't want to have that pressure.
	You know, it's kind of a difficult thing for some of these corporations.
	They have to weigh, well, if I turn over this information, and violate the security of these people. They could sue me and I don't really want to do that, maybe some of them say. The government's putting a lot of pressure on them and then they can say don't worry about any lawsuits, we're going to give you immunity protection. So you had CISPA offered a couple of times, you had SOPA, ACTA, PIPA, you had various forms of that legislation in the EU and then finally they got it through and we know where that is now.
	All right, we're going to be coming back.
	We're going to take a look at what happened.
	We're going to take a look at what was going on in that prison.
	But we're also going to take a look at what's brewing in China versus Hong Kong.
	That may explode any minute now.
	Again, many things happening internationally.
	What is this going to tell us, though, about the danger that we're in here domestically?
	And we're also going to talk about gun control.
	The GOP wants to control us.
	They're going to lose control.

	And again, as I said at the top of the hour, thank you to Harrison Smith and Greg Reese for doing a great job in my absence.
	I'm going to take a look at some of the things that developed while I was gone.
	The gun control issues following the mass shootings.
	I went up to Dayton.
	I had some difficulty getting the Getting the reports uploaded in that area.
	So I'm going to follow up on that today.
	I thought, well, let me just do it when I get back.
	It'll be a little bit easier for me to go through this information.
	But I do have some clips from the mayor of Ohio.
	Things that she was saying, you know, the Washington Post said, President Trump attacks!
	He goes to the places of the shooting and he attacks local officials.
	Well, those local officials were attacking our gun rights.
	And now we see President Trump and the GOP saying that they're going to threaten our gun rights as well.
	We have Dan Crenshaw coming out and saying, well, you don't really understand.
	Our red flag laws are not like the Democrats' red flag laws.
	To which I say, you don't understand.
	There's not a dime's worth of difference if you're going to turn our Second Amendment, God-given rights, into a government-granted privilege.
	That is not acceptable.
	I'll talk more about that later.
	I want to get first on the Jeffrey Epstein situation here.
	But folks, the bottom line is, I don't know how you feel.
	Maybe you think that Trump can do no wrong.
	I'm very concerned about the fact that when we get a Republican in, a Republican that we like, a Republican that does some good things, we go to sleep, don't we?
	He has gotten away.
	Already, President Trump has done more to damage the Second Amendment than Barack Obama did in eight years, Trump has done in two years.
	And I'm serious about that.
	Not only has he trash-talked as a Republican, as somebody that, oh, I am a friend of the Second Amendment, he has trash-talked our God-given rights and the Constitution that he's obviously never read, or doesn't care what it says.
	That is bad enough if he didn't do anything.
	Just trash-talking the principles that this country was founded upon.
	And I gotta say, because again, the Jeffrey Epstein situation is interesting.
	It is also important what it tells us about the elite.
	But before I get into that, I just gotta say, one of the things I did on vacation while we were driving, listen to a book by Daniel Suarez.
	about autonomous killer drones.
	And one of the key things, the key takeaways of this book, the perspective of it was, and I've talked about this before, that freedom exists when there is a rough parity between the power of the people, and I'm talking about the power of violence, violence.
	There is a tension, as Daniel Suarez pointed out in his book, there is a tension Between an implicit threat of violence on both sides.
	Behind every law, there is an implicit threat of violence that the police are going to come around and beat or kill you if you don't obey that law.
	Or throw you in a cell, or take your money, or whatever.
	On the other hand, with an armed population that has something of a rough parity, and yes, Eric Swalwell, it is a rough parity.
	You've got nuclear weapons, But have you won any of these wars since World War II, any of these asymmetric wars that the U.S.
	military has fought in country after country from Vietnam on?
	They could come in and they can wipe out an area.
	They can wipe out a conventional forces, but when they get to the asymmetric warfare stage, that's very problematic for them.
	I've had many times I've talked to reporters when I was with the Libertarian Party saying the same thing that Eric Swalwell said.
	You think you're going to use pistols to stop a massive, the biggest army in the world?
	It's like it's been done before.
	It was done at the Warsaw Ghetto against the Nazis, against a couple of Panzer divisions by unarmed Jews who had been rounded up into the Warsaw Ghetto.
	They started with a hammer.
	Then they got a pistol.
	Then they got more pistols.
	And then they held the city until they burned the entire city down.
	But if we look at, and again on that August 19th, you could say that the Germans won that conflict.
	But over and over again we have seen wars that have stalemated and drug on forever.
	Because a conventional army could not subdue a population that was armed.
	Doesn't matter if it's the Russians in Afghanistan or the Americans in Afghanistan.
	Doesn't matter if it's the Russians in Syria or the Americans in Syria.
	It is hard to put down an armed population.
	And so there is an implicit threat from an armed people that keeps the government in check.
	It is like mutual assured destruction.
	The tension between the Soviet Union and the United States during the Cold War.
	Nobody wanted to see a nuclear war.
	Both sides realized that it would be mutual destruction to start that.
	So nobody wanted to see that happen.
	Nobody wants to see a violent conflict between the American people and the government.
	But we're not going to unilaterally disarm any more than we would have unilaterally disarmed against the Soviet Union.
	That's what the people in the GOP need to understand.
	And so I have people send me a reply on Twitter.
	Well, what are you going to do?
	You're going to vote for the Socialists?
	No, I'm going to work for the Tenth Amendment.
	You know, the founders saw this situation a long ways off.
	They understood that there had to be a rough parity of power between the people and the government.
	Again, when you look at the history of weapons and how they were distributed, once the populists got power in terms of weaponry, you had an outbreak of liberty.
	That and the printing press and free speech, both of those, both of those are now under attack.
	Both of those are now being trash-talked by President Trump.
	Not only has he done nothing, To stop the control of speech by giant corporations who are allied with the military-industrial complex.
	But he's also talked about how we need to make sure that we watch and silence dangerous voices.
	Well, who decides who is dangerous?
	We look at the events of the last year, as we had our bannerversary last week.
	The banning of InfoWars.
	Followed two months later by the banning of over 800 independent sites.
	Then who knows how many of you have had your speech banned, maybe covertly, maybe overtly, by these corporate masters.
	As we look at that, as we look at the attacks on the First and the Second Amendment, and we look at the loose talk by President Trump about defending these, and the inaction that he has done in terms of defending our First and Second Amendment rights, we should be very concerned.
	It's not just President Trump trash-talking the Second Amendment, saying we'll take the guns and do the due process later.
	We've seen that.
	We've seen it over and over again.
	They take American children, separate them from their mama's arms, in the terms of Elizabeth Warren, pulling babies from their mama's arms, without any due process, without any explanation.
	Kidnapping them at school, in some cases.
	Never even showing the parents what the charges are.
	That's CPS.
	Of course they've done that for quite some time under the war on drugs to our property, our homes, our cars, our cash, our planes, or whatever, your business.
	They charge the inanimate object with committing a crime and they take it without any charges, without a conviction, without concern about excessive penalties.
	And so is it any stretch of the imagination that a government like this would take Other things away from us that are just as dear under these red flag gun laws.
	So when we look at this, we have to be very concerned.
	President Trump is not just trash-talking the Second Amendment.
	He's already trashed it, further than any other president, by executive order.
	Regulating something that was never regulated under even the Obama administration, an attachment to a gun, by executive order.
	And of course, Kamala Harris and the Democrats were quick to pick up on that.
	I told you about that as well.

	As I was looking at the news, a couple of things stuck out to me last week while I was on vacation.
	Kind of the dog that doesn't bark story from Sherlock Holmes.
	You know, we had, in addition to three mass shootings in the last couple of weeks, we also had mass murder with a knife.
	There really wasn't much talk about that.
	I was really not surprised.
	Because even though the reports, the alleged reports about his motivation and what he was saying was that he was searching for Hispanics, that he was able to attack people for a couple of hours, killed two people, severely injured four people with a knife, that was not picked up.
	Now in other Events, anything that anybody had to say that remotely touched on immigration or Hispanics that was immediately used to attack President Trump, to call him a racist, to call his supporters racists.
	But in this particular case, no.
	Because it's not about Trump.
	It's not about his supporters.
	It's not about racism.
	It's not even about immigration for these people.
	It is simply about getting the guns.
	It is a harbinger.
	of what is about to happen. They want to make sure that you don't have any weapons to defend yourself.
	Very, very concerning to see how both the Democrats and now the establishment GOP, perhaps even President Trump, is going to be on board with enacting gun control.
	And of course this is not a political move by the GOP.
	They're not going to get any credit for any measures that they take.
	Anything that they do short of outright Australian-style gun confiscation is going to be condemned by the left.
	All they will be able to do is hurt themselves with their base.
	But I think that just as we see with universal basic income and the fear-mongering going on between that.
	I mean this is not something that came from Andrew Yang.
	The universal basic income Is a proposal that's being put out by everybody across the board.
	GOP as well as Democrat.
	Conservatives as well as Socialists are very concerned about the unrest.
	That is headed toward our society.
	50% or more unemployment in many industries.
	Across all industries at the same time.
	From the bottom to the top at the same time.
	This is not just something that's going to affect unskilled people.
	Artificial intelligence, automation, other issues are going to devastate things like the transportation industry.
	Many people are expecting more than 50% unemployment, but what a lot of people don't realize is how severely affected white-collar jobs are going to be.
	And so as a result, you've got people like Charles Murray, a conservative libertarian economist who wrote Losing Ground under Reagan to talk about how the welfare state had harmed inner-city families, how it had destroyed communities, now proposing that we put everybody On the welfare state.
	Why?
	Because they're very concerned about how rapidly this change is coming.
	That is why both the Republicans and the Democrats are now pushing for gun control of some sort.
	This is not about trying to placate people in the wake of a shooting.
	And so when I look at these stories, and I look at what happened in the prison, and I look at what happened as the The gun control narrative was being pushed very hard during the week.
	It's like, well, they don't want to talk about the knives, do they?
	Just like they don't talk about the knives in the UK.
	And yet you've got a lot of shootings going on in the UK as well.
	There, they're moving on.
	They're not really focusing on the tools.
	Here, it was, that was the issue on the gun side.
	The issue on the Jeffrey Epstein suicide that I thought was interesting was the fact that nobody is really talking about the Whitey Bulger murder.
	I've talked about that murder.
	Don't you find it interesting that as the Russia-gate conspiracy lies were starting to turn in the other direction, as it was very apparent to a large swath of society, to everybody other than the die-hard Kool-Aid drinkers at MSNBC and CNN and their small audiences, everybody else realized that this whole thing was a setup.
	It was a debunked conspiracy theory.
	Of the left-wing media.
	And as that realization happened, the next step was, people said, wait a minute, who's behind this?
	Who's behind this move?
	These people of the FBI, people like McCabe, and Strzok, and Comey, and even Mueller.
	And then as people started saying, maybe we need to investigate them, I find it very interesting, and I talked about it many times on the program before.
	The fact that Whitey Bulger, a guy who had a very long history of Bob Mueller and some corrupt agents at the FBI.
	Bob Mueller when he was with the Department of Justice in the Boston area.
	Whitey Bulger was a mafia boss that they used as an informant against other mafia organizations.
	But it went further than that.
	Whitey Bulger was not just an informant.
	He was the pet of these FBI agent controllers.
	They were giving him information to help him take out his competition and to make him more powerful.
	And some FBI agents went to jail over that.
	And Bob Mueller was right in the thick of all of that.
	And as this investigation began to turn, people began to ask questions about Bob Mueller and the corruption at the FBI.
	Whitey Bulger, who had been forgotten about for a couple of decades, he was a very elderly, I don't know, 80s, late 80s, I think.
	Very frail, very sick.
	All of a sudden he was now the center of attention for these people.
	And he was taken out of the prison where he was, transported to a prison that had a reputation for people being violently murdered within the prison.
	And he was taken to that facility and on arrival in a wheelchair He had some assassins who were already waiting for him.
	He didn't even get into the prison!
	They beat him with, I think it was a lock and a sock or something like that, but they beat him until you couldn't even recognize him anymore.
	And beat him to death, on arrival.
	Now, as I said at the time, that requires some coordination between a few people for that to happen.
	There has to be people high up in the Department of Justice, in the prison system, in the FBI, these other agencies.
	They have to be involved to transfer him for no apparent reason.
	No reason whatsoever.
	There has to also be people at that prison who are waiting to take him out when he arrives.
	And so we see this type of thing happening to people like Whitey Bulger.
	To me, the Whitey Bulger assassination was the dog that didn't bark.
	The media said nothing about that.
	There really wasn't any investigation of that.
	A few people raised some issues about it.
	I talked about it.
	But for the most part, nobody said anything about it.
	Just like nobody said anything about the two-hour rampage with a knife looking for Hispanics.
	No, no, no.
	No, we're not interested in that because it doesn't involve guns.
	And so we look at all this.
	Sarah Carter just had a story come out.
	A reminder, again, yet again, of our two-tiered justice system, where top FBI officials escape prosecution.
	How do they do that?
	Well, you can see it in the case of Whitey Bulger.
	You can see it in the case of Jeffrey Epstein.
	Yeah, we all knew that it was going to be Clinton's side.
	We all knew this guy was going to be killed.
	It's not any surprise any of that happened.
	What is surprising?
	Is that the elite have gotten so corrupt, so arrogant, that they do this overtly.
	Just like they are overtly taking our free speech and the free press and shutting it down.
	And they're about to overtly shut down our Second Amendment.

	Folks, you know, when we look at this, the issue isn't who killed Jeffrey Epstein.
	We all know who killed him.
	We all knew he was going to be killed.
	The issue is how bold these people have become in all of this, and how upfront everything is.
	And of course we've seen this through the moves by the FBI, the NSA, the CIA, in conjunction with foreign intelligence services to try to overthrow the election and try to come after, to try to frame President Trump and anybody who was affiliated with him during the election.
	But you know, just as a reminder, The fact that we've got James Comey laughing publicly about how we set up General Flynn, National Security Advisor.
	This is the story by Sarah Carter.
	She quotes Comey, says he admitted that he arranged the meeting with FBI Special Agents Joe Pientka and Peter Strzok directly with Flynn.
	He said it was, quote, something I probably wouldn't have done or maybe gotten away with in a more organized administration.
	He laughed about it.
	These people have not seen anything happen to them.
	They get away with it, which only invites more corruption.
	And it gets bolder and bolder.
	Take a look at Julian Assange, for example.
	Is anybody talking about Julian Assange anymore?
	No, we've completely forgotten about Julian Assange.
	The guy who exposed corruption.
	Yeah, see, you know, Jeffrey Epstein's about to expose corruption.
	And what was happening with the elites, either intentionally or unintentionally, Julian Assange was doing it intentionally, telling us the truth about these people.
	And so he's sitting in a prison.
	He just had his human rights lawyer, based out of London, go to the capital of Australia, had dinner with more than 30 MPs while she was there, trying to raise support for Julian Assange.
	And isn't it interesting that Julian Assange is accused of sexual assault?
	These people project their crimes, just like they did with President Trump and the P dossier, the dirty dossier, the filthy fiction, the imagination of the Clintons and their Epstein friends and their Harvey Weinstein friends, their Hollywood friends, and their corrupt imagination.
	They project what they would do in a similar circumstance, or probably have done, onto President Trump.
	Project their foreign collusion with Russians onto President Trump.
	There's always projection.
	But they did that to Julian Assange.
	And this is not just an injustice done to one person.
	An injustice done to one person, especially a high-profile person, is the beginning of a very, very rapidly spreading cancer that will metastasize to each and every one of us.
	We saw this when Alex Jones, the Banniversary last week, as I said, two months later, 800 sites, not all of them conservative, not all of them Trump supporters.
	Some of them were liberal.
	They all had the common thread that they opposed, the military-industrial complex they opposed, big pharma companies they opposed, the police state, the surveillance state.
	They were all shut down.
	Because it is a proof of concept.
	If they can get away with attacking and banning Alex Jones, then they can come after Julian Assange and they can throw him in jail.
	And if they can throw him in jail, they can throw everybody in jail.
	They can end free speech.
	And the fact that President Trump has not called off the dogs, the corrupt dogs, of the corrupt Department of Justice in the United States speaks volumes about President Trump.
	And his commitment to free speech and the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, to me.
	Maybe you want to give him a pass, and that's why this is such a dangerous time.
	If Obama was doing this, if Obama was talking about gun control, taking the guns, doing the due process later, if we even do it, if Obama had issued an executive order, To ban a gun accessory?
	We've never had a gun accessory banned.
	The ATF under Barack Obama did not even ban a gun accessory.
	But President Trump, to virtue's signal, did that.
	He did that by executive order.
	We've never had gun control by executive order before.
	Again, the people who should be defending this are saying, it's alright, it's alright.
	Our man is there.
	Trust no one that approaches the precious jewel of liberty, said Patrick Henry.
	And he was absolutely right about that.
	You should be suspicious of anybody that is in a position of power.
	Even if they don't do anything suspicious, you should always watch them like you would watch somebody if they were in a room with your entire life savings and a single gem sitting on a desk.
	You've got somebody coming in.
	Even if you trust that person, you're going to keep an eye on them, aren't you?
	Make sure they don't steal it.
	Swap it out.
	Put something phony in its place.
	And yet, because they're Republican, or because they're Trump, we give these people a pass.
	And we say, alright, he's got it covered.
	He's never going to betray the voters.
	He's never going to betray the Constitution, he swore to uphold.
	But he's already done it.
	And he's talking about doing it again.
	And we look at what's happening with the First Amendment, as well as now the talk about the Second Amendment, as Assange's lawyer said to these Australian people, what do our passports mean?
	What does it mean for press freedom?
	I think a lot of Australians are concerned about this, but not the Australian politicians.
	They're part of the Five Eyes, the Five Eyes Intelligence Service.
	Ms.
	Robinson, his lawyer, who saw him in Belmarsh prison a few weeks ago, said she had serious concerns for his health.
	She refused to answer questions about how sick he is, what treatment he's receiving, but she said there would be permanent damage from his time in the embassy.
	He's still in the health care ward, she said.
	Obviously, after more than six and a half years without access to health care and no area to exercise, there was a significant decline of his health.
	John Pilger said, I saw him in Belmarsh prison and his health has deteriorated.
	He was treated worse than a murderer.
	He has isolated, medicated, and denied the tools to fight the bogus charges of a U.S.
	extradition.
	I now fear for him.
	Do not forget him.
	Why are we doing this, President Trump?
	President Trump was helped by the information that came out about Hillary Clinton.
	The information that Julian Assange had the courage to put out.
	He said at the time, we know that Hillary Clinton wants wars.
	We know.
	That she is a criminal.
	We don't know about Trump, he said at the time.
	And now he is sitting in a prison.
	And I say we do know about Trump at this point in time.
	If you're not going to defend free press, if you're not going to defend the public's right to know about corruption, and this is why you can have somebody that everybody knows, like Jeffrey Epstein, is going to be killed by these powerful people in government.
	With their satanic, eyes wide shut, pedophile networks, and their sex slaves, and their sex temples, and their private islands, and so forth.
	You know that this is going to happen, and they do it because they know they're going to get away with it.
	When President Trump said, I'm so popular I could shoot somebody in the middle of the street and get away with it.
	Something to that effect.
	And I said, ooh, this is bad.
	This is bad.
	But these other people know this and have known this all their careers, that they can openly murder people now and get away with it.
	This is the real story of what's going on with Jeffrey Epstein.
	The fact that these guys can murder anyone, they can take any of our God-given rights, they can completely ignore the Constitution that they swore to uphold, they can commit perjury before Congress as we saw James Clapper do, And Congress never even talked.
	Nobody in Congress even talked about bringing him up on charges of lying to Congress.
	How many times have we seen those charges come up in a political environment?
	And of course that brings us back to General Flynn.
	In a casual conversation where he didn't know.
	He wasn't sworn in.
	He wasn't being deposed.
	He didn't realize it was an interrogation being conducted by Peter Strzok, James Comey.
	He was entrapped.
	And nothing that he had to say was of any substance.
	What James Clapper said was of substance.
	He was under oath.
	He was talking to Congress and he was talking to the American people and he got away with it.
	As I tweeted out over the weekend, I said, they never investigated Jeffrey Epstein's life.
	They will not investigate his death.
	And I'll tell you why Attorney General Barr, I don't think, is going to investigate this.
	There are connections between Barr's family and Jeffrey Epstein that are very suspicious.

	One of the most interesting things I think about Jeffrey Epstein Is the fact that how this guy got to be so wealthy isn't really apparent to most people.
	He had one client.
	The guy who is the largest shareholder in Victoria's Secret.
	Bought him the mansion there in New York.
	And it was his only client.
	That guy was his only client.
	And that guy says, hey I dropped him a number of years ago.
	But somehow He's getting all this money from all these different places.
	And the strangest friends keep popping up around Jeffrey Epstein.
	We're going to take a look at that in just a moment.

	You know, as we look at this, we look at the statements by Hollywood, by Joe Scarborough, Russia, Russia, Russia.

	Rubio's no different from the Democrats.
	You got Joe Scarborough, you got all these Hollywood actors, you got Marco Rubio saying, Russia, Russia, Russia.
	Russia's doing this, Russia's doing that.
	Well, when there is really something to talk about that's happening in Russia, where there is a run on iodine pills, and they're out of them, allegedly, in the hospitals, you stock up on iodine, To try to fill up your thyroid's capacity for absorbing iodine.

	So there are thousands of these lawsuits that are backlogged and a Reuters journalist Who is reporting on that, and actually was going to be writing a book, was targeted by Monsanto.
	And I want you to listen to how they targeted her.
	If you don't think that freedom, especially free speech, is under attack, Monsanto paid Google to promote search results that were critical of her work.
	So we're talking about the anniversary of Alex Jones.
	It started with Alex Jones, and if you don't think that there is a connection between these people and between the military industrial complex and the police state surveillance state that is being built up here, they actually called their facility a fusion center.
	A fusion center!
	I remember it was 2016, I think, Glenn Beck I caught a little bit of his broadcast on the way home one night, and he said, a fusion center?
	What is a fusion center?
	Well, you know, he picks up a lot of stuff from Alex Jones, but he didn't pick this up.
	It was something that was exposed first by InfoWars back in 2009.

	There was a, the fusion centers, I should say, not the fusion report, but the fusion centers.
	are a cooperative venture between Homeland Security and local police forces.

	I was saying in the last segment before we ran out of time here, Monsanto had actually set up a fusion center so that they could control information and put out disinformation, the same type of things that are being done by our own government.
	When you look at this, when you look at the MIAC Fusion Center, putting out, being on the lookout for people with Ron Paul bumper stickers, they could be sovereign citizens, and they're dangerous.
	Kind of like terrorists.
	You know, when you put out that kind of stuff, and as I said, I heard Glenn Beck talking about it, I think it was 2016, it's like, Fusion Center, what's this?
	And they pull up Wikipedia and they start reading the Wikipedia definition, it's like, well, yeah, we reported on that.
	Alex Jones did, it was before I got here.
	Uh, seven years earlier, 2009.
	But this Fusion Center by Monsanto did lengthy reports, not only about this journalist, Kerry Gilliam, a Reuters journalist, but they also did reports about Neil Young, the singer, because he was also talking about glyphosate, very concerned about that.
	They also monitored U.S.
	Right to Know, a not-for-profit.
	They produced weekly reports on what that organization was doing online.
	See, if you don't understand that corporations have, isn't it interesting, these corporations have exactly the same structure to monitor their political enemies as the military-industrial complex and the police state and the surveillance state have to monitor theirs.
	Isn't it interesting?
	This kind of corporate fascism that is just fine with the left as long as it comes after people they don't like.
	They only get concerned about it when it comes after Neil Young.
	As a matter of fact, they also not only paid Google to promote negative information about this journalist, but they also pressured Reuters, hoping that they would reassign her, that they would shut her down, stop her from reporting about that.
	And she came back and said, I never imagined a multi-billion dollar company would actually spend so much time and energy and personnel on me!
	It's astonishing!
	See, we don't ever think that there are people on this earth that could do the kind of stuff that Jeffrey Epstein did.
	Or the kind of stuff that the killers did in Dayton and El Paso and the Garlic Festival in California.
	That type of thing is unthinkable.
	And it is also unthinkable to Americans that their country could orchestrate the types of atrocities that it does on a regular basis.
	That it could use false flags.
	That it could go in and starve to death a half a million children and Madeleine Albright would say, yeah, it was worth it.
	It was absolutely worth it.
	Or Hillary Clinton would brag, we came.
	We saw.
	He died.
	And a lot of other people died.
	And it's not just the Clinton side.
	It's the open murder that these people have committed.
	The endless wars for regime change that they never answer for.
	And so it's not unusual, is it?
	Should we be surprised?
	That when the government works in coordination with private entities, Internet companies that they have aided and assisted and given money to as part of the venture capital startup.
	When DARPA sets up the Internet, when psychologists put together the control mechanisms for the Internet, and these people set up, you know, as they shut down their LifeLog project, they ramp up Facebook so they can collect all the information that you're willing, so willing to hand over freely.
	For them to scrape off of the internet.
	Is it any surprise then to see even Monsanto?
	I mean, Monsanto's got a lot of connections into the military-industrial complex.
	They're the people who created Agent Orange.
	So why would we be surprised that they would have their own fusion center?
	An internal counter-intelligence organization.

You know, Attorney General Barr has said that what happened to Jeffrey Epstein, about two weeks or so after there was an alleged suicide attack, and we're going to talk about what that prison is like, that he was no longer on suicide watch, that in this very high security prison, that he was able to
	quote unquote commit suicide.
	Attorney General Barr said this is outrageous, we're going to look into this.
	Do you think that they will?
	I'm betting that they won't.
	If they didn't investigate his life, they're not going to investigate his death.

	But there is a connection in this case, and I don't think we should ignore it.
	Jeffrey Epstein, when he was about 20 years old and a college dropout, was hired by Bill Barr's father, who was headmaster at a very elite school.
	This is a school, the Dalton School, that has had alumni like Christian Slater, Claire Danes, actor and actress as Chevy Chase, also Anderson Cooper.
	This is a very elitist school.
	And Jeffrey Epstein was a 20-year-old college dropout when he was hired to teach at Dalton by the school's headmaster, Donald Barr, in the mid-1970s.
	Donald Barr, of course, the father of William Barr, the current Attorney General.
	And as some people have pointed out, one person who was there, graduated in 1976, he said Epstein was most remembered for his, quote, persistent attention on teenage girls in the hallway.
	He recalled a night when the young educator showed up at a party where Dalton students were drinking.
	He said, I can remember thinking at the time, this is wrong, it's weird, he said.
	Said another one, Paul Grossman, a 78 graduate, he said everybody talked about Jeffrey Epstein and why he was there.
	As the Huffington Post pointed out, he was their teacher, but he became a monster.
	Well, he was a bit of a monster while he was there, apparently.
	They said former teachers and alumni from the Dalton School in New York City have been reconnecting via long group email chains and Facebook comments to discuss memories of Jeffrey Epstein.
	They said that in conversation with 15 former Dalton students, parents and teachers, they said many of them were in awe that Donald Barr, who was very strict, very conservative, is now part of that story.
	They said the joke is This Epstein bar problem at Dalton.
	He stood out as a young guy in a weird coat.
	You noticed him in a weird coat.
	I wonder if it was like a trench coat or something.
	I don't know.
	He was hired to teach in his 20s, even though, as I said, he was a college dropout from both Cooper Union and New York University.
	He had dropped out of two college colleges.
	He didn't have a degree.
	He's actually failed out of two colleges.
	Why would he be hired?
	He only lasted for two years before he was hired by the investment bank Bear Stearns, after he tutored the chairman's son.
	Interesting.
	Barr liked to hire young people in their early to mid-twenties.
	We saw smart, energetic and full of potential, says Huffington Post.
	They said, however, it was unusual for the teacher to be as young as Epstein and to lack any credentials, any college degree.
	And of course, When we look at other issues with this, you know, we're told that Bill Barr is going to get to the bottom of all this investigation.
	Who knows?
	Maybe he will.
	Maybe even though he's been friends with Bob Mueller for a very long time, maybe he will actually investigate Bob Mueller.
	I'm not holding my breath, quite frankly.
	All this talk about this bulldog prosecutor that he's got, John Durham, John Durham was the guy who investigated the CIA cover-up of torture.
	Gina Haspel was in charge of that place and came in after a lot of that had happened, but she was the one who destroyed the videotapes of torture.
	Gina Haspel did that.
	And John Durham was the individual who investigated and let her off.
	And President Trump is the one who promoted her to the head of the CIA.
	So do you really think something's going to happen with that?
	Is this really any news?
	I mean, we've got all the allegations coming out about Bill Richardson, the former governor of New Mexico, one-time presidential candidate, Prince Andrew, other people in this alleged sex ring.
	Of course, Prince Andrew And the pictures of this woman, who is the accuser of Virginia Roberts, who is now married and has the last name Guffrey.
	A photo of herself with Prince Andrew.
	She says she was 17 at the time the photo was taken of the three of them.
	Said she has phone logs and so forth.
	Well, we have Buckingham Palace saying just the opposite.
	And of course, we should believe Buckingham Palace, shouldn't we?
	Buckingham Palace, who had such a deep relationship With somebody else that was kind of the British equivalent, I guess, of Jeffrey Epstein, Jimmy Saville.
	Jimmy Saville helped to facilitate things, kind of like Jeffrey Epstein, although not to the degree that Jeffrey Epstein did.
	And as we had the BBC after Saville died, a lot of people knew what he was doing.
	A couple of different Scotland Yard investigations that were started by the rank-and-file officers were shut down by the people at the top.
	You had the BBC, some people there at mid-level, had done a documentary talking about Jimmy Savile and his pedophile abuse.
	That was shut down by the higher-ups of the BBC.
	And going back to 2013, Buckingham Palace shut down any information about Jimmy Savile.
	So is it any surprise that you got Prince Andrews, as he's being exposed with this, He went to church with the Queen and his family in a photo-op just to show how innocent he is.
	Going back to 2013, however, the Daily Star had, at that point in time, just finished a seven-month battle with the government to try to get information They showed connections between Jimmy Savile and, I say Savile, I think it is Savile is the way the British say it, as in Savile Row.
	But anyway, they had papers from a 2009 police quiz that showed that Savile had been in contact with Buckingham Palace in a lot of different ways.
	26 pages!
	That exposed him as a pervert, a bully, and a liar, came back to the Daily Star after a seven-month battle with the government, with 96 redactions.
	Does this sound familiar?
	Do you understand that when the government redacts information, it isn't about national security?

	But right now, I want to focus On a couple of articles that Eric Peters has at epautos.com about electric cars.

	Yeah, it's good to be back.
	Actually, I had an interesting vacation.
	One of the things we were able to stop by and take a look at was the Corvette Museum up in Kentucky.
	That's neat, isn't it?
	Yeah, that was very interesting.
	Very interesting to see the design.
	It really makes you appreciate how much goes into the design and construction of a car, especially a sophisticated one like Corvettes, which typically incorporate many state-of-the-art things.
	of the different technology that's got to be packed into that, then in addition to that all of the art to try to make it look attractive and so forth. It was very very interesting and then of course they had that sinkhole that took out a lot of those very rare Corvettes and that was a kind of reminder of what eventually happens to all of our work no matter how hard we work no matter how sophisticated it is it's going to wind up in a junkyard someday.
	Unfortunately this is true. Yeah, yeah.
	I mean, it was a real reminder of, you know, how short and futile life ultimately is when you see those gorgeous cars and then you see a bunch of them just smashed flat.
	I mean, it was absolutely amazing what happened.
	They left them, several of them, the way that they were as they restored part of that area there in the museum.
	But let's talk a little bit about the other aspects of this.
	You know, one of the other things that I was impressed with was how difficult it was in a big company like that to actually get something like a big project like that, like a Corvette, produced, especially in today's environment at GM where they really don't want to, like the rest of the automobile manufacturers, we're seeing all of them, do not want to build cars anymore, especially private cars, but especially internal combustion engines.
	They're all pushing very hard for electric cars, and we know what is driving this.
	We know that it is the government offering them carrots and sticks in that direction.
	Yeah, well, the Corvette is kind of a red barchetta in real life.
	It's something from a better vanishing time when cars were about passion and not about controlling people and about freedom.
	which they increasingly no longer are, and I guess GM management reluctantly decided, well, we got to keep this thing around for window dressing reasons, at least for the short-term future.
	However, what they've done is to increase the price of the car such that it becomes ever more an exotic, more and more out of reach of the proletariat, which Corvette did not used to be.
	Yeah, that's right.
	So that kind of brings us to Jay Leno, a guy who I enjoy looking at his collection of rare cars.
	He has seemingly bottomless pockets.
	to get the most rare cars and to reconstruct them too. He does a great job of reconstructing a lot of rare cars.
	But he's now holding forth about how wonderful electric cars are and you've got an article about that. Tell us about that.
	Well, he's not only holding forth about how wonderful they are, I was startled because I always thought that Jay was a car guy and understood how cars work.
	And he made a number of really fatuous statements, including, I never have to do anything to my Tesla.
	Well, you never have to do anything to an internal combustion-powered car either, generally, for the first three or four years, other than very basic maintenance.
	And as the car ages, you still have to do things to electric cars, too.
	And in addition to that, you have to do different things to electric cars that you'll never have to do to a non-electric car, such as spring for several thousand dollars' worth of dead battery after about eight years.
	Yeah, exactly.
	Yeah, the engine isn't going, the batteries, which essentially are the engine, it's not going to last like a diesel would.
	And as you've pointed out many times, a Volkswagen is ready to roll out a diesel engine that would get about 100 miles per gallon.
	And diesel engines are legendary for how durable they are, because they have to be able to deal with high compression.
	They have very robust engine blocks and they can last a very, very long time.
	That's exactly what the government does not want, because the government is trying to squash Let's talk specifically about some of the points that you made in terms of comparing things.
	Because look, I have no problem, and I'm sure you don't either, if somebody wants to get an electric car, go get an electric car.
	Just don't make me pay for it.
	And one of the things that you pointed out is that they're getting a free ride right now, a free lunch.
	On motor taxes and other things, your fuel taxes, and that's going to end, isn't it?
	Of course it's going to end.
	It has to end.
	The way that roads are paid for, both new roads and the maintenance of old roads, is through the motor vehicles, motor fuels tax, which is, what, 50 cents or so on every gallon of fuel that you buy.
	And currently, there is no such tax on electricity, on the kilowatt hours that go to power an electric car.
	Well, if you think about the future and if we come to this point where electric cars are half the market or two-thirds of the market, they're going to have to put those taxes onto the electric car.
	And I think they'll end up being higher taxes than what we currently pay because in addition to dealing with the maintenance of the roads, you're going to have to figure out how to pay for all of the additional electrical generating capacity that's going to be necessary to power all of these hypothetical electric cars.
	Yeah, I think that's very interesting because we have all these people, especially environmentalists, who are very, very angry about cryptocurrency.
	They're talking about how much energy is being spent to run computers that are, you know, processing transactions for Bitcoin, for example.
	And they talk about different search engines and how much energy is being used by Google to power search engines.
	Well, when you've got to power all the vehicles off the electric grid, that's going to require a tremendous increase in capacity at the same time they're trying to cut down the amount of capacity that we have by eliminating fossil fuels on that end.
	Yeah, there is nothing in the average house That will consume nearly as much electricity as an electric car.
	A typical electric car has a 400 volt battery that draws a tremendous amount of energy to recharge.
	So I think it would be analogous to running your air conditioner full blast at the coldest setting plus turning up your stove to the highest setting and running your washer and dryer continuously for say eight hours as far as what it's going to end up costing you to keep this thing going and then add the taxes on top of that.
	Well, you know, Jay, as you quoted him here, said, I've had it for three years.
	I've never done anything.
	There's no fluids to change.
	There's nothing.
	Well, you know, as you point out in the article, if you charge it off your house current, it's going to take about eight to 12 hours to juice it.
	OK, that's one fluid you've got to put in if you want to count it that way.
	But you also talk about the other fluids.
	That still has to have.
	Talk about some of those.
	Well, electric cars have a cooling system, which they need to keep the temperature of the battery at a certain point.
	That also needs to be changed.
	And, of course, they have hydraulic brakes, just like any other car.
	The braking system on an electric car is largely the same as that on a standard car.
	It does have a regenerative braking feature added to it, but it's still a hydraulic braking system.
	It's not an electric braking system.
	And, of course, all of the suspension parts and all of the other wear items also wear out.
	And you get to the biggie, ultimately, which is the battery.
	You know, and nobody wants to talk about this.
	And batteries, over time, as they are charged and discharged and recharged, they lose their capacity to hold a charge.
	This is admitted.
	It's not speculative.
	Everybody who knows anything about batteries will tell you this.
	Well, of course, anybody that's got a phone or a laptop, they see how that happens with their phone.
	It happens pretty rapidly with the phones.
	They start to lose their battery capacity.
	Just think when that happens with your car.
	That is a big and expensive proposition.

	If you go back and you look at the college papers and the thesis of the Lyft CEO, he was trained as an urban planner and he makes it very clear that he believes the guy who owns Lyft Understand, believes that cars are one of the most evil inventions of mankind.
	That cities are the greatest invention of mankind.
	But that is exactly the opposite of what most Americans believe.
	most americans are very happy to have a car that would allow them to live outside of a city in the suburbs or further out so that they could uh... commute yes it was time that was uh... involved in that but that gave them a freedom to live at a higher standard of living and uh... in the manner which they chose but the urban planners don't like that they call that urban sprawl and they have been intent on stopping that in every way possible whether it is choking off the transportation of access that we have on highways by
	not maintaining them by not expanding them You know, one thing, Eric, that I think that Elon Musk got right, he talked about the fact that our cities have grown in three dimensions, but our roads are still in two dimensions.
	That's true.
	That's what he was talking about going underground.
	But you go back and you look at the futuristic projections of what people in the twenties or thirties or fifties thought the cities would look like, or even going further than that in the science fiction of Blade Runner and other things, Minority Report, you see multiple levels of transportation, whether they're on roads or whether they're flying cars.
	But we don't have that, and they don't expand the transportation in any way, shape, or form.
	Well, there's a reason for that.
	That would facilitate mobility, and that's the last thing that they want.
	Yes, that tells us everything about it.
	And then when we look at Jay Leno, one last thing here that I think is very appropriate here.
	Again, Jay Leno represents a class of elite people who are going to be able to afford any kind of plane or car that they want to have.
	There's absolutely no restrictions on what he has and that's what you and I are very concerned about.
	The fact that the common man The Hoi Poi that they don't have too much respect for, that we're going to lose our mobility.
	Of course, the elites will not lose their mobility.
	They'll have every choice in the world.
	They'll be able to afford the hypercars, the supercars, the one and two million dollar cars that have thousands of horsepower, whatever, because they'll be the only ones on the road for the most part.
	Well, and they won't even have to think about it.
	I've never met Jay, but he strikes me as a guy, he's probably not an evil guy, but he's so affluent and He hangs out with people in that class of financial privilege, that for him, $30,000, $40,000 is the equivalent of you or I buying a $2 cup of coffee.
	thousand dollars is the equivalent of you or I buying a two dollar cup of coffee. It's just it's nothing to them. And I think if you're in that if you're in that mindset you lose touch with the things that matter to the rest of the the hoi polloi us who actually do have to worry about spending an extra $15,000 on an electric car versus an otherwise equivalent non-electric car.
	Yeah, but they're not going to be impacted by this whatsoever, and they can virtue signal to everybody about how efficient these things are.
	There is a lawsuit that has been filed against Tesla and Elon Musk that you report on about range reduction.
	Tell us a little bit about that.
	Well, this is a very interesting story.
	It turns out that Teslians, as I like to call them, aren't just tethered to the power cord that powers their car, they're also tethered to Tesla.
	Which retains the ability to control their car.
	And what happened was, apparently, according to this lawsuit that's been filed by a Tesla owner, in order to deal with the recurrent problem of Teslas lighting up when they're being charged, they sent out what they style an update to all their cars.
	to change the operating parameters of the battery to make them so that they would charge more conservatively.
	And the result of that is that the range that was touted when the people bought the car turns out to be considerably less. They woke up one day and found that their car would go about 40 miles less far than it used to go, just like that, because Tesla sent out an update over the air.
	Wow.
	And that was done because they were concerned about the safety of rapid charging or overcharging on the batteries and the fire issue that that might create.
	Right.
	And the broader point here is that at any time, unless you figure out a way to somehow, I guess, remove the antenna or disconnect your car, They have the ability to monkey wrench under the hood of your car, so to speak, and do whatever they want to in terms of adjusting the range either more or less or not at all.
	Think about that in the context of, say, the social credit scheme that they have in China and that they probably are going to try to erect here.
	You post something that they find objectionable online, you make a tweet that somebody doesn't like, and they can just brick your car via an update.
	Oh yeah, absolutely.
	And even the idea, that has always been put out as a feature by Tesla.
	I've always looked at it as a bug.
	I don't want my computers or my phones being updated without my explicit authorization because I have seen that break things too many times.
	And one of my biggest gripes right now is how they've gradually been putting that in under the radar.
	Updating an app here or an app there without my authorization.
	All of a sudden, I see the interface change.
	It's like, I didn't authorize this.
	Who did that?
	And that really infuriates me.
	I can't imagine somebody doing that to a car that I'm inside.
	Well, sure.
	And it's an assault on the very concept of ownership.
	You know, allegedly, this is your vehicle.
	You paid for it.
	You're making the payments on it.
	And yet, the company is still asserting its ownership via control over what is supposedly your car by, without your permission, without your knowledge even,
	Yes, and as we change over into the mindset of Silicon Valley, what we see as a part of this update process, as I look at it, it's no longer kind of the planned obsolescence that we would see built into manufactured goods, you know, in the mid-20th century, where they'd say, well, we're going to make sure this thing doesn't last more than three or four years.
	Instead, it's kind of a update obsolescence.
	They plan to update and essentially mess up your older phone or your older computer and it's like, well, sorry, that's more than five years old.
	We don't support that anymore.
	When's that going to start happening with the electric cars and the automatic updates?
	Well, sure it will.
	There's no question that that sort of thing is going to happen.
	And another aspect to this, too, is that if you disconnect your vehicle from the hive mind Uh, if it's no longer supported, uh, you've effectively cratered your resale value of the car.
	Uh, you can no longer get the things that are necessary.
	They've made it such that if you want your car to work, you got to get these updates, you know, just like a cell phone.
	And if it's not updated, it's, it's essentially a useless thing.
	So this car, you either accept that it's going to be controlled by the company that you bought it from, or, uh, you're going to accept that, uh, it's worth say 30 or 40 or 50% less than what it would otherwise have been worth.
	Wow, wow, that's amazing.
	But they do have an issue, and that is an issue with all electric cars, that one of the, as we compare electric cars to gasoline cars, and look, they've got their pluses and they've got their minuses of different cars, and again, I don't have, I'm not here to tell anybody what kind of car they should get.
	People's decisions are going to be different from my decisions, based on what they need out of their life.
	I just don't want to have to be charged to subsidize somebody else's choice.
	And I don't want to be, I don't want to have my choice banned by the government.
	That's my issue with all this.
	And the fact that Tesla, Elon Musk, is getting so many subsidies from the government.
	But there was, as they updated this to try to address a perceived safety issue that they don't want to talk about, we just had a video Being released out of Russia, just a couple of days after they were starting to talk about how the NTSC here, the NHTSA rather, was going to be investigating some crashes with Tesla, we see this video.
	Roll that B-roll there.
	I'm sure you've seen this, Eric.
	This is somebody driving by, you can see the traffic jam here, and as they drive past this car, It is a raging inferno and it begins to pop and explode even more as they go by this thing because these electric fires are very difficult to put out.
	And then there's the other video which shows, this is not, there it is right there, there's the raging inferno as it's going there and pops and explodes even more.
	But what caused this?
	There is a video after this one that was of the fire.
	There was a video of what actually caused the accident.
	Roll that video.
	It was just, they just barely grazed a parked garbage truck or something that was on the side.
	It wasn't even going very fast.
	And perhaps the driver did it, perhaps the autopilot did it, but it just grazed that.

	You've got gimmicks and their downside.
	Because, you know, when I look at the mainstream automobile review publications, They typically aren't talking about the things that people talk about with cars and trucks anymore.
	I mean, I just recently saw a truck review where they didn't even talk about its towing capacity or its hauling capacity.
	They were just talking about the radio.
	Yeah, the radio or the infotainment system or the apps or all of the, as they style them, assists, which are really driver preemption features.
	Yeah, yeah.
	Talia, you mentioned that it used to be difficult 20 years ago to get a car that didn't have air conditioning.
	Now it's not even possible to do that.
	And then power everything, right?
	Well, the tragedy is the car should be going down in price dramatically.
	Instead, they're going up.
	Cars are a very mature technology and all of the Uh, the bugs have largely been worked out.
	Any new car that you buy is going to start immediately.
	It's not going to stall in the middle of the intersection.
	Uh, and it will probably go for almost 200,000 miles before anything major goes wrong with it.
	Um, which brings up a problem though.
	Uh, how do you get somebody to buy a new car?
	If they've already got this car that's going to last them 15 or 20 years, uh, and it's running perfectly well, uh, after a hundred thousand miles, what are you going to do to entice them to buy a new one?
	Well, you come up with some gimmick, uh, typically an electronic gimmick of some sort.
	So they've done things like replace the old physical ignition key with an electronic key fob and a push button ignition and made a much more elaborate system, a much more expensive system out of a very simple system.
	They show the videos quite a bit.
	It's become very popular in the UK especially for thieves to go up close to the front door where somebody might have their car hanging and grab a signal from that key fob and then transmit it to their partner who's standing beside the car and get into the car, take stuff out of it or steal the car.
	Sure, a physical key can't be hacked.
	Somebody actually has to physically take your key or physically jimmy a lock and then physically jimmy The ignition in order to drive away in the car but with these these fobs all they have to do is hack into whatever the code is just like a garage door opener.
	You've probably heard about guys who go around using the factory codes to open people's electric garage doors when they're not home, get in their house and steal everything they can.
	Same principle with the car.
	Mm-hmm.
	And instead of having a key that cost maybe five or ten bucks to replace when you needed to get a new one, now you've got this key fob and some of the latest ones actually have their own built-in LCD screen, if you can imagine it.
	Yeah, these key fobs... Not my car!
	It can cost $100, $300, or even more than that for a replacement key fob when you inevitably lose it, run it through the wash, or it just breaks.
	Wow.
	You know, one of the things you talked about is how, you know, power accessories that used to be luxuries, now everybody's got power windows.
	That's one of the things I noticed, you know, when we were going through the Corvette Museum, going back and looking at the old cars and seeing some roll-up windows and things like that, having to explain it to the kids, not having seen anything like that before.
	But now it's taken a little bit more of a sinister turn.
	You know, here in Texas we have flash floods that happen periodically, and it's not uncommon for people to get their cars washed off the road.
	If you're in a car that's got power windows, you can't roll those down like you could a roll-down window, and you can't get the door open because you've got water pressure on it.
	And now it's gotten even worse.
	I don't know if you saw this or not, you've probably seen this, Eric, but they're talking about how because of all of the proliferation of side airbags, Now they're making the side windows with laminated glass, so you can't even, it became very popular in Germany and other places to carry a little tool with you so you could shatter the side glass and get out.
	Now you can't do that with the laminated.
	Yeah, there's all these unintended consequences.
	Another one that's related to your example, The windshields in modern cars, a lot of them, have some built-in technology that makes them inordinately expensive, sometimes on the order of $1,000 or more.
	To replace a windshield, if you get a stone chip in the thing, and it won't pass state inspection because you've got this little minor crack in it, the aftermarket used to make replacement windshields, which were much cheaper than the factory windshield.
	But now, because of this very specialized and proprietary technology that the manufacturers are building into their windshields, Things like the sensors for the various assists that we've been talking about that scan the road ahead of you.
	That's integrated into the windshield.
	So if you have to replace the windshield, you've got to replace that along with it.
	And only the original manufacturer makes it.
	And because the price is extremely high, and that's one of the things, by the way, too, that's driving up the cost of insurance.
	These very minor accidents now can incur thousands of dollars worth of damage to vehicles.
	and that's being reflected in the cost of people's insurance.
	And all of this is moving to the point where they're essentially making private ownership impossible for the average person.
	One last thing, we've got just a couple of minutes left.
	That is the Automatic Start Stop, and I love the acronym that they came up with that, A.S.S.
	The beautiful thing is I don't think anybody realized it.
	They let that term out, and it was too late.
	They called it automated stop-start, and I looked at it and thought, well, that acronym is AFT, and it's an accurate acronym.
	Very appropriate, yeah.
	Absolutely.
	Yeah, because, you know, what would you want to do except add a lot more wear and tear to your car by constantly starting and stopping it?
	Yeah.
	Well, it's wear to the battery.
	You know, 12-volt starter batteries that are in almost all cars were designed to start the car.
	That's it.
	Not start the car a dozen times a day.
	If you did that to your battery, you do that to your battery with these systems, your battery is going to wear out faster.
	Uh, whatever, uh, nominal savings on gas that results from shutting off the engine at every red light and every time traffic comes to a stop is gonna more than be made up for when you have to buy a new $100, $150 battery, uh, every three years instead of every five.
	Yeah, well not to mention lubrication issues and things like that that might be minor, but then there's also the case that we had a couple of these cases of people actually being killed by the ASS system, right?
	Yes, well that's another problem and it ties into the push-button ignition system.
	It's very easy with cars that have push-button ignition and the automated stop-start system to forget that the engine, even though it's not running, We'll turn back on.
	It'll leave the ignition in the run position and get out of the car, because you don't think the engine's running, walk away from it, maybe close the garage door, go inside your house and forget about it.
	Meanwhile, five minutes later, the car comes back on and it's very quiet, so you don't realize that it's running and it's pumping carbon monoxide into your house.
	Yeah, we just had a couple, and it's not the first time this has happened, we just had a couple who were asphyxiated.

	And their own home because of that ass system.
	Sure.
	Yeah.
	Not to mention all the gas that's wasted from all the idling engines.
	Yeah.
	Maybe that's what it stands for.
	Right.
	Asphyxiate.
	It's almost like some kind of bad comedy writing that these Rube Goldberg-esque contraptions now are being put in.

	And I have to say, you know, we have these people who are supposed to be amateur athletes.
	Can they distinguish whether or not they're amateur athletes or amateur politicians?
	And why are we giving these people money?
	This particular individual, a guy named Race Imboden.
	That's his name, Race.
	I guess he played the race card, didn't he?
	He took the knee, kneeled on his metal.
	This is a guy that is part of the men's foil team.
	Foil team.
	Fencing.
	Going to the Olympics, the Pan American Games or whatever, working as part of the Olympic team, that's about as professional as a fencer is ever going to get.
	There isn't a National Fencing League.
	There's not that NFL.
	They don't have one of those.
	Nobody is going to stadiums to watch people fence.
	And so their entire existence is because of this government-sponsored situation.
	And yet, you know, he wants to be a, not an ambassador, but he wants to be a, not a goodwill ambassador, but he wants to be a politician.
	Why are we paying for this?
	Where is the authority under the Constitution for the U.S.
	government to field professional athletes?
	This is one of the criticisms when I was growing up.
	They always, whenever they would lose to the communists, To the Russians or to the East Germans, they say, well, you know, they have, it's supposed to be only amateur athletes, but they've got professional athletes because they, they're paid to do that full time.
	Well, that's what you've got going on here, right?
	I mean, they may not be, may or may not be doing this full time, but that is their entire existence.
	Is out there as part of that team.
	And the money that you and I are giving so that we can be lectured to by these spoiled brats who are living off of your tax dollars.
	He said, racism, gun control, mistreatment of immigrants, and a president who spreads hate are the top of a long list.
	I chose to sacrifice my moment today at the top of the podium to call attention to issues that I believe need to be addressed.
	I encourage others to please use your platforms for empowerment and for change.
	Well, again, you know, where is the authority?

	But you know what's even more pathetic?
	An amateur politician who thinks that he is a faux athlete.
	Somebody like Andrew Yang, coming out over the weekend, calling Donald Trump a fat and a slob, and challenging him to a push-up contest.
	This is Andrew Yang.
	This is the universal basic income guy out here.
	And he's now trying to fat-shame President Trump.
	What does this guy weigh?
	280 or something?
	He said, I challenge Donald Trump to any physical or mental feat under the sun.
	Yes, that's how we choose our presidents now, isn't it?
	Reality TV show, athletic competition, arm wrestling, physical feats.
	He said, he's so fat, we should have a push-up contest.
	Maybe that is one contest that Andrew Yang could win.
	He's not going to win any other contest.
	He might be able to beat me at golf, although I've heard that he cheats.
	Nobody wants a president, he said, who can't run a mile, I think.
	Well, I don't know.
	Maybe they do.
	Yeah, maybe it's not about that at all.
	Maybe if we just had a president who took his oath to the Constitution seriously.
	Maybe if we just had a president who understood that the Constitution is the actual king in our country and that these people are just merely temporary stewards and unfaithful stewards of that.

	But again, you've got politicians who are doing the same thing, people like Andrew Yang, and he's going the other way.
	You've got athletes who want to be politicians, and now you've got a wannabe politician who can't make up his mind whether or not he wants to be an amateur athlete, and he thinks that The presidential race is going to be determined somehow by some kind of a Pan-American game.
	We're going to have push-ups, running a mile, maybe a golfing contest to challenge President Trump.
	So he's out there trash-talking President Trump.
	But of course it's okay.
	Nobody's going to criticize him for trash-talking President Trump.
	And yet, when he talks about gun control, We see him breaking down in tears at an Iowa gun control forum.
	I wasn't surprised to see this, quite frankly.
	I don't think Andrew Yang really can handle the arena.
	This is a guy who, when I found out that he was going to be running, he was one of the first guys to announce that he was going to run for president.
	And his central issue was universal basic income, which is nothing other than universal poverty, universal welfare for everybody.
	Trying to placate people so that they can soft kill us after they destroy all of our jobs with automation.
	Now he's talked about how that is an issue.
	He says, look, you're getting angry.
	With the immigrants who are coming in here, they're not stealing your jobs as much as the robots in the factory.
	And that's true, and it is a real problem.
	But giving everybody a poverty-level income of $12,000 a year isn't going to do anything to stop the unrest that we have.
	And that's one of the reasons why they're talking about gun control.
	When you got doctors and lawyers and Indian chiefs and we got people at the CEO level all the way down to the entry-level person across every different industry at the same time losing their jobs to automation to artificial intelligence.
	We've never seen that kind of disruption in society and it is all coming as we are reaching a cyclical point in societal changes.
	Talked about this many times.
	How Strauss and Howe went back and said, look, about every 80 years, there is a major restructuring of society.
	It is usually accompanied by war.
	And it is frequently accompanied by economic unrest as well.
	And it is kind of a generational cycle.
	And they went back 500 years.
	Showing how that it happened.
	So you have four generations, each of them about 20 years apart, and based on where they are in the prosperity and war cycle, it just kind of keeps feeding that cycle.
	And we are in the middle of that cycle right now.
	began most likely back in 2008-2007 with the global recession that happened and one of them is still alive.
	He said, at the time, he said, well, I think it'll probably end maybe 2029.
	All of the elites understand that.
	That's why they keep talking about 2030.
	2030, that's when they hope to have their control mechanisms put in place.
	And again, they talked about this decades before it happened.
	These are the guys who coined the term millennial.
	Talking about different generations.
	So when you look at this, yes, I would like to talk to Andrew Yang about that, but he's afraid to even talk about universal basic income and defend that.
	I reached out to him when nobody was talking about him or about that issue.
	I said, come on the show.
	At first he said he would, and then he backed down.
	If Andrew Yang can't come on, he's the smartest guy in the room.
	He keeps telling everybody, right?
	Well, look, I'm not that smart.
	If he can't handle a debate with me over somebody who's going to challenge him on the basic false assumptions of universal basic income, if he can't come on and defend that, he can't defend it with anybody, and he hasn't had to defend it with anybody.
	Why?
	Because everybody left and right, Republican and Democrat, see this as a way to placate and to control the population.
	And they want it to happen.
	And they're not going to be very critical of Andrew Yang.
	As a matter of fact, they shower him with love and he is crying about gun control.
	So that's the other issue.
	I've talked the first part of this program about Jeffrey Epstein and why I thought it was interesting.
	Not so much because of the connections to the Clintons.
	Yes, we all know about the Clinton body count.
	That's been well documented.
	We all know about the many people that have Died under mysterious circumstances or been suicided.
	But when we look at how openly this is being done, even when they fail the first time, even when he's in a prison, they say, well, we're going to do it anyway.
	Nobody will do anything about it because they can get away with it.
	Look at what Hillary Clinton has gotten away with.
	She got away with Benghazi.
	She got away with the Clinton email scandal.
	She got away with violating national security at the highest level we've ever seen.
	And you understand that the real issue about national security is protecting these people.
	We saw that when President Trump declassified those documents, that they were fighting tooth and nail at the FBI and the Department of Justice.
	Don't declassify that!
	That's going to harm national security.
	And there was absolutely nothing in there that would expose people who are working undercover against terrorists or in other countries or against drug cartels or anything.
	There was nothing in there that would endanger anybody.
	And there was nothing in there that exposed any technology or any tactics or techniques or anything of the intelligence community.
	And so President Trump declassified it.
	And we're able to see that it was absolutely nothing there that was of any concern except that it exposed the crimes and the high crimes and misdemeanors of the people of the Department of Justice and the FBI.
	That's why they didn't want it exposed and that is why they're trying to cover up so much stuff in terms of national security.
	Jeffrey Epstein was the kind of national security that they really care about.
	Somebody who exposed the elites and they got rid of him very easily. So when we look at the gun control obsession that we had and again I was up in that area of the country so I went to Dayton at the site of the shooting that we had in Dayton where nine people were killed I believe was the the final count and many others wounded.
	Saw the memorial that was there.
	Actually caught a little bit of what the mayor had to say, and I want you to hear, as the mayor, this is the day after President Trump was there.
	And President Trump was criticized by the Washington Post, by the New York Times.
	The headlines were things like, Trump trashes local leaders.
	Well, what were the local leaders actually talking about?
	They were trashing President Trump, but they were also trashing something far more precious, and that is our individual liberties.
	Let's play that clip.
	My focus is getting something done around gun control so this terrible, tragic incident in Dayton may not have to happen in other places.
	And then grieving and bringing our community to deal with mental health and the work that they'll need to recover.
	Yep, yep, yep.
	So she talks about mental health and she went on to talk about, and I posted a little bit of that, people saying, well, you know, what should we, what resources do you have here at the local level to help us?
	Oh, we got all these psychiatrists online and so forth.
	I said at the time, it is so sad to see how there is no moral base anymore in America and there is no spiritual anchor in America either.
	When you have something like a lot of people who die, whether it is from a natural disaster, or whether it is from some satanic shooter like it was there in Dayton, some satanic socialist fan of Elizabeth Warren, as angry as she was, but armed, rather than just talking like Elizabeth Warren, when you see something like that happen, everybody runs to the government to solve their problems.
	And I thought, how sad is that?
	She was bragging about how they had psychologists lined up to give people counseling.
	A psychologist who, you know, the very word says that they study the soul.
	These are people who deny that you have a soul.
	They don't have anything to offer anybody.
	And neither does the government.
	They can't keep you safe.
	They couldn't keep Jeffrey Epstein safe.
	You want to turn over everything to them?
	Give up all your liberties?
	Well, you're no better off than Jeffrey Epstein in a prison.

	Richard Proctor has a doctorate in political economics, and he's written a lot of books about economics for the common man, and now he's focusing on the Constitution as well.

	Good to be here again.
	You guys have been out of the circuit on a vacation, and I haven't.
	Yeah, it was a short vacation we took, and it's nice to be back, actually.
	But let's talk a little bit about what's going on with the courts.
	Was talking about what was happening with gun control, concerned about the fact that we have Kellyanne Conway, we have President Trump and many others signaling that, well, we've got to do something to make everybody feel better.
	And so we've got to enact some more infringements on the Second Amendment and so forth to make everybody feel good.
	And I said, this is really dangerous, and it is a real betrayal of his oath to the Constitution.
	And one person came back and said, well, you know, what are we supposed to do, vote for the Socialists?
	I said, no.
	We enforce the Constitution and the Tenth Amendment.
	That's really, I think, the rightful remedy for this type of thing, if we really understand what the structure of the federal government was, the deliberate structure of the founders, and if we understand the impact of the Ninth and Tenth Amendment.
	Oh, absolutely, especially the 10th Amendment.
	States have lots of rights that they've given up.
	They've just backed away.
	If we're not interested, we're just going to do what you tell us to do.
	And a part of that is because we accept money from the government, and if the government says, well, if you don't do what I want to do, I'll cut you off, then we're stuck.
	That's right.
	What we need to do is stop accepting money from the federal government and begin to enforce what the Constitution actually says.
	That's right.
	We have a long shopping list of favors that the local government and the state government want to hand out to people.
	They don't have the ability to print money and to go into debt indefinitely and that ability may not last forever even for the federal government but currently they can basically just keep printing money and they don't have to have any accountability.
	Everybody at the state and local level does have to be accountable to a budget and so that is a very effective carrot to get these people to essentially turn over all of their power to the federal government to abdicate that power.
	And we've seen that power abdicated by the Congress, we've seen the power abdicated by the President, and they've been abdicating that power to the bureaucracy, but especially to the judicial branch, haven't they?
	Yes, and in 92, the Supreme Court said that if we take any money from the federal government, we must do what it tells us to do.
	So there you have the Supreme Court backing up this garbage.
	Absolutely.
	Yeah, and as I've looked at this, you know, the case is still being made again.
	You know, this tenuous case, we see it made every time we come around.
	I said, look at President Trump has put in two Supreme Court justices Kavanaugh and Gorsuch.
	We don't even know how these guys are really going to pan out over a period of time, right?
	They've just been put in and that is the problem that we see with this all the time.
	That is not a reliable way to... that's not the structure of the government and the Constitution and even if it were, you don't really have any control because we've seen time and again that a president will appoint somebody and then that guy will basically go off, typically go off in a statist, leftist direction.
	It typically doesn't work the other way.
	I've never seen a justice who was appointed by a liberal president suddenly become conservative and start ruling according to the text.
	But you know, David, we've got to remember for positive that they don't have any, 90% of what they do, they don't have any authority to do.
	It's not in their jurisdiction.
	Third article is very clear.
	Their jurisdiction does not include any of this stuff.
	We don't have to worry about a balanced court.
	The court's supposed to be justice according to the Constitution, not according to what they make up as they go along.
	It doesn't matter.
	And if a justice is not following the Constitution, he needs to be impeached.
	Come on.
	These guys go to Europe and they learn what they want to do.
	They come back home and pretend like they're following the Constitution.
	They should be impeached.
	This is terrible, we've never impeached one of them, but my oh my, have we lacked our responsibilities?
	Oh yeah.
	Well, you know, they go back and they refer, we've talked about this before, Marbury v. Madison, where they gave themselves the right to review everything and give it a thumbs up or thumbs down based on their opinion as to whether or not it applied to the Constitution.
	But of course, after that, we still had Andrew Jackson say, well, they've made their opinion, they've put out their opinion, let's see them enforce it.
	But basically, everybody is abdicated to that.
	But there's something else involved as well, isn't there?
	And that's maritime law.
	Talk a little bit about that.
	Oh yes, maritime law.
	Now, that's really crucial.
	That's something that is just not known.
	Maritime and Admiralty Law are two of the functions of the Supreme Court.
	Now, when it was written down, the Constitution, this was in 1787.
	Yeah, 1787.
	I get the dates sometimes mixed up.
	This was in 1787.
	They knew what Maritime Law, Admiralty Law was.
	It was on the high seas.
	It was outside the landmass of the United States.
	It was on the oceans.
	And the captains had pure authority on the oceans.
	I mean, if a captain tells somebody to do something he doesn't do it, he'll throw him in the brig.
	There's no court, there's no discussion, there's no jury.
	They just throw him in the brig.
	That's Admiralty Law.
	Oh yeah, we want a system like that, don't we?
	Absolute authority, authoritarianism, dictatorship.
	I mean, you have to have that on a ship, especially if it is a military ship.
	But we don't want our civilian government organized along those lines.
	And you know what's interesting is our police departments are.
	Isn't this amazing?
	Police departments wear uniforms that are quasi-military.
	They have names that are military.
	They form a hierarchy that's military.
	And they are admiralty laws now.
	They do that.
	For example, let's just give one small example.
	Somebody next door to you, or even down the block, says you're mistreating your children.
	And they tell the family services guys.
	So the family services get the police.
	The police come to your door, knock on your door, and take your children without any due process whatsoever.
	That's admiralty law, and that's what we're in in many cases.
	And we've allowed it to be because we just don't understand what those things mean.
	So here we have people being prosecuted and have their children taken away, and that's prosecution.
	They're losing benefits.
	That's this prosecution.
	Everything is lost because some anonymous person whom they will not identify says, you're doing something that's wrong.
	And are you?
	Nobody knows.
	There's been no testimony.
	There's been nothing.
	There's been no court.
	But the police, in admiralty law, are still there taking your children away under force.
	Yeah, and what they'll do is they'll label it, sometimes under the War on Drugs, they'll call it civil asset forfeiture.
	They'll say, well this is something, these are rules that were enacted by the administrative state.
	It's a civil law, so you don't get any due process under the Constitution, you don't hang a presumption of innocence, that type of thing.
	They might, yeah exactly, or they might call it family court law, but it still goes back to that admiralty law issue, doesn't it?
	Yes it does, it's supposed to be on the high seas, it's supposed to be what the captain of a ship does, not what That's not what some neighbor down the street does.
	And when you go into a court, I didn't know this for a long time, but if you look at the court flag, if it's fringed in gold, it's Admiralty Court.
	Right there advertised.
	Yeah, this is their secret code.
	It's kind of like a secret handshake at the Lodge, right?
	And of course, the CDC, they all wear these naval uniforms as well, don't they?
	That should worry us quite a bit there.

	We're talking to Richard Proctor about the Constitution.

	We're talking about the power of the judiciary, and as we look at this debate, which has taken a temporary pause here in light of the sensational death of Jeffrey Epstein, which, as I said earlier in the program, I have no doubt That he was murdered for what he knew.
	I didn't get into the information I have about the prison there that makes that pretty much a given.
	But as we look at what is going to be coming back with a vengeance, and that is President Trump saying that he's going to convince some people to do some things that they don't want to do.
	And that means people in Congress.
	We're going to have great legislation after all these years.
	And saying things like, well, you know, we're going to have to trade out some of this stuff for safety.
	We've heard this over and over again.
	Look, I'm the most... I'm the person who supports the Second Amendment more than anybody else.
	I have heard that from every Democrat politician, and it usually precedes some new proposal about how to limit our fundamental God-given rights.
	That is what always follows from that.
	So when we talk about red flags, We see a president talking like that.
	We see a president doing gun control by executive order.
	That is a red flag in and of itself, to me.
	And as some of the people are pushing back against this, with Gun Owners of America, another organization, the Firearms Policy Coalition, points out that President Trump was talking about taking the guns and doing the due process later.
	Well, too often we find that there is no due process that ever comes later.
	Whether they're taking your property, your kids, or your guns.
	And so, you know, that is really the question that we've got here, Richard, as we're looking at this.
	And the NRA is coming back and saying, well, Trump is the most pro-Second Amendment president in recent American history.
	He nominated Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh.
	He got to the Supreme Court.
	He removed the U.S.
	from the U.N.
	Gun Ban Treaty.
	We look at these types of things, and these are situations that never really should have even been an issue.
	I mean, we shouldn't have that much power in the Supreme Court, and we shouldn't have treaties that overthrow our Constitution, should we?
	Oh, absolutely.
	It's very clear.
	Everything is very clear.
	Article 3 and Article 6 are very clear on those subjects.
	But you know, Dave, one of the most important pieces of this gun control stuff These gun mass murders are always, I don't want to say always, let's just say almost always, in those gun-free zones.
	Which are really killing free zones, is what they really are.
	That's right.
	Yeah, the killer had tweeted out, he said, guns everywhere in America, the guns on every corner, everybody's got a gun.
	But he was the only one with a gun that day, until the police officer with a gun showed up, after about a minute, after he'd killed nine people and wounded, you know, quite a few others.
	And it's nothing, you know, we blame an inanimate object for what people do.
	You know, we better ban cars.
	You know, there were Thousands, thousands of, hundreds of thousands of deaths last year because of misuse of cars.
	So we better ban the cars.
	Be careful Richard, they're going to make that argument.
	They're going to come for the cars next.
	Seriously, I mean, they are going to do that.
	That's how it goes, isn't it?
	Yeah, oh yeah.
	Well, you know, there's an article on Breitbart, FBI reports, if you total it up, more people killed by hammers and clubs than with rifles of any kind.
	And this guy, again, this guy in Dayton, had a tweet, and it said, hammer, brick, gun.
	Now, I don't know what he meant by that, but any of those items could be used to kill somebody.
	So if you're going to red flag somebody, they're just worried about the gun part of it.
	Nobody talked about this person who went on a killing spree, killed four people over two hours, and wounded another two people with a knife.
	Nobody talked about that, because that's not part of taking the guns away from people.
	Yeah.
	In Brazil, when I lived there, I had a machete.
	Oh, dear me.
	I carried something in my back pocket that was about 12 inches long.
	Yeah.
	Just for grins, that's all.
	You know, peel an orange or something.
	Guns can do stuff, but so can knives.
	So can everything else we have.
	Bathtubs do that too.
	Oh, we gotta look at everything.
	Yes, oh yes, absolutely.
	You know, when we look at the situation with the UN Gun Ban Treaty, that was actually before I came to work here at InfoWars.
	And that really isn't something that President Trump, he has done many good things, but that is not one of his accomplishments that the NRA cited.
	That UN Arms Trade Treaty,
	uh... blew up in their faces because of the fast and furious uh... debacle and that was something that was part of the gun walking program that was not only the democrat administration but the republican administration had been a part of that they were smuggling arms across the border trying to create a crisis so they could then use that to say well in order to stop the transfer of arms across the border we're going to have to track every single gun every single piece of ammunition anybody who approaches any of that
	We're going to have to back that up in terms of total surveillance of any gun owners in the United States.
	But it all blew up in their face because of the Fast and Furious issue, and that happened in 2012.
	You know, it's an interesting thing.
	If the government hasn't got something to talk about or to make havoc, they'll make the crisis for themselves.
	Create the crisis and then solve the crisis with a way that takes freedoms from us.
	That's right.
	Even the New York Times said that Fast and Furious situation was a false flying operation.
	And it was.
	It was an operation to create a crisis so they could use that to impose gun control at the UN level.
	So I'm glad that that's gone.
	That's not really an issue.
	But then we have other treaties that are imposed on us, like NAFTA for example.
	NAFTA, the biggest issue with NAFTA, and again it remains an issue With this USMCA, as President Trump calls it, the new agreement that he came through with.
	It's got a different mixture of trade agreements that have been negotiated in this multilateral trade treaty.
	But it also, the real issue there is sovereignty.
	Because you've got a multinational group and they have a A international court that is going to adjudicate disputes and so forth that can actually impose its power to override any legislation that is done at a national level.
	Oh, you know, you're coming right on the things that if I get started on, I'll just come unglued.
	That court in Brussels, oh my, you know there's three guys in the judiciary thing, you don't have any appeal, you can't do anything about it.
	And by the way, how are we going to get there?
	And then they get to, you know, Europe to defend ourselves.
	And then to make even matters worse, you remember not long ago they started having all these NAFTA roads going through the United States.
	They went up through Texas.
	Oklahoma stopped theirs at the border.
	Those were international highways.
	If you were on that highway and got in an accident, your trial, your court case, or whatever it is, is in Brussels.
	Yeah, that's where they're gonna go.
	So when we look at this, again, the question that is brought up by some of the people, and we'll talk about this when we come back, Robert Spitzer, who is a professor at SUNY Cortland, that's the State University of New York in Cortland, said, well, you know, these extremist gun owners, you know, who actually believe that owning a gun is a right and not a government-granted privilege, he calls them extremists, he said, They may be unhappy with Trump, but where else are they going to go?
	I've had the same question asked to me as well.
	And I think we need to go back to the design of the Constitution.

	We're talking to Richard Proctor about the Constitution, about economics.

	Richard, you know, when we look at the situation that we're in, as many people have said, you know, you don't like what President Trump is doing?
	Where else are you going to go?
	What else are you going to do?
	And I look at this and I think about the fact we understand that liberals for the longest time have looked to not only the government to solve every one of their problems, but they look to the federal government to solve every one of their problems.
	They not only say there ought to be a law about everything that they don't like...
	But they want to make a federal case out of everything.
	But now, I think, Richard, the conservatives have done the same thing.
	We think that the only way that we're going to be able to solve the problem is by electing the right person president.
	And that somehow, by having the right president, we're going to get control of the Supreme Court.
	Even the NRA pointed that out.
	They said, look at this, they appointed Kavanaugh and Gorsuch.
	They even understand that the true power lies in the Supreme Court.
	And if you're going to go that route, it's kind of like pushing on a rope to try to elect a president who's then going to appoint people who are going to be reliable over a lifetime appointment, which is what they're doing right now, if we don't go back and reassess what we're doing.
	So they're being misdirected even in the wrong way.
	Even if they think that they can solve all the problems in Washington, they're being misdirected as to how to do that.
	Ronald Reagan said Washington is not the solution, Washington is the problem.
	The founders said that Washington was going to be a problem, and they tried to divide power with the Constitution, divide power within the different branches of government, and divide power between the central government.
	And the states that delegated that power in limited amounts to the federal government.
	So how, Richard, do we actually take this power back if it isn't by electing the right president?
	Well, the president's a nice guy and all that kind of stuff, and we've given him more power than he has, and he's taken more power than he has.
	But here's a thought.
	Here's a thought.
	If we don't... The only way to get people elected is through a political party.
	That is the only way.
	The system is set that way.
	Now, it wasn't supposed to be, but it is.
	So we've got to live with what is.
	The only way you can get anybody elected is to be in a political party.
	So now everybody thinks we've got to have a Republican or a Democrat, or some people say I'm going to be an Independent.
	An Independent isn't a political party.
	They can't elect anybody.
	So we need to be associated with a party that believes in the Constitution.
	I'm very keen on the Constitution Party itself.
	Interesting name, isn't it?
	I'm very keen on that party.
	It's all over the United States.
	It's still fledgling.
	It's not growing like it should.
	In this climate, we should have droves of people wanting to be more constitutional.
	If we just followed the Constitution, each state could get its power back without any laws or any amendments.
	But we don't because our people aren't constitutionally oriented.
	So, here's a whole group of people that are beginning to grow and beginning to be heard and beginning to do more that are constitutional folks.
	They want to have the Constitution.
	I have run in the state here, under the Constitution Party, for auditor twice, treasurer once, and I'm going to run for treasurer again, because I believe in the Constitution, I believe in the things the Constitution represents, and so I want to be a part of those kind of people.
	At the state level, you're running for a state office.
	Yes, I run for state offices.
	And that's the key thing, too.
	We are so focused on it.
	And again, we talk about the general programs.
	We talk about things on this news broadcast because we have a national, we have an international news broadcast.
	And so what we're trying to do is talk about problems that are common across the board.
	But these problems really have to be solved on a state-by-state or local jurisdictional level.
	One by one, yeah.
	They have to start taking their power back.
	Yes, that's where it begins.
	That's what I teach.
	That's what I teach.
	How to get the states to get their power back.
	And when the states get their power back, then the federal government loses power.
	And I like that.
	Because they're not supposed to have it.
	It's not right.
	But the only way you can do that is to be a part of a group of people that are trying to do that.
	Well, you know, one of the things that I think is very helpful, and it's one of the reasons why I highlighted it so much, is the fight for medical marijuana, or even recreational marijuana, regardless of what you think about those issues.
	And this is where we lose a lot of conservatives.
	We have seen a peaceful nullification of federal overreach, which is what the marijuana prohibition was.
	We've talked about this before, but now people have a concrete example that if they care about a particular issue, and if they care about their individual liberty, that they could stand up and do that.
	And so I look at that and I say, well, why don't we have a movement of conservatives to say, we're going to do that to, our issue is that we want to stop abortion.
	So why don't they do that to stop abortion, rather than do it to stop federal prohibition of marijuana?
	I mean, we could easily do that.
	Yeah, but not state by state.
	Now, people try to do abortion, but then they bow to the Supreme Court, who out of its own jurisdiction says you can't do that.
	Well, that's garbage.
	The Supreme Court has no authority whatsoever over any state law or any state constitution.
	It's not in their jurisdiction.
	So why do we let them have it?
	It's not there.
	That's right.
	When you had the recent law that got everybody so upset in Alabama coming back and saying we're going to basically come back with a law that looks exactly like the Texas law that was supposedly struck down by Roe v. Wade.
	And, you know, we all went along with the gag and let them do that.
	But the bottom line is they came back with that law and they said, we're going to challenge that.
	But then they don't challenge it.
	Instead, what they do is they send it back to the Supreme Court and say, well, the personnel have changed.
	Maybe we'll get a different answer.
	And that is a definition of insanity, trying the same thing over and over again and hoping for a different result.
	Yes, it surely is.
	And that's what we're doing.
	That's what we're doing.
	Let's just go back to what the Constitution says.
	Then we don't have to try anything.
	Let's just do what the Constitution says.
	And then get ourselves around with a group of people that are trying to do what the Constitution says.
	Now, for an example, I put a pitch in here, okay?
	My book, Saving the Constitution, is becoming a part of the Constitution Party's book Book encouragement.
	They want everyone in their party to have a copy of this book and read it.
	That's the only important part.
	If you don't read it, it doesn't matter.
	They want to have the Constitution restored.
	Let's get behind that.
	Let's get the Constitution where it belongs and stop fooling around with the Supreme Court stuff out of their jurisdiction hoping they'll do something.
	No!
	Tell them their jurisdiction isn't there.
	Period.
	And I think it's very important for people to understand, again I go back to the issue of marijuana, because when you start talking about state nullification, people start getting concerned about that.
	They say, well, you know, that could lead to a civil war and so forth, because there's a lot of talk about nullification.
	Prior to the Civil War, and yet, when I've talked to the people from the Tenth Amendment Center, they point out, well look, you know, you've got a couple of options.
	You know, one option is you don't stop the concentration of power, and it accelerates as we've been seeing it accelerate, and you wind up with tyranny.
	The other extreme is that you have a civil war, but the middle point, which we would all like to have happen, which is altering the way the government is peacefully and doing it legally and constitutionally, is with nullification.
	And we've now seen that happen.
	As much as Jeff Sessions wanted to push back against marijuana, he was afraid to do that because it would expose his hand.
	People would see that the federal government had, that the emperor had no clothes when it came to The 10th Amendment on drug prohibition.
	That's right.
	And many other issues.
	There's all kinds of issues they could do.
	I mean, the guys did it with a rail, R-E-A-L-I-D, in the early part of the century.
	And they nullified the stuff and it went away.
	There was no Civil War and nobody fought anything and nothing happened except the state said, we're not going to do that.
	So the federal government backed off.
	That's how we should do it all.
	And we don't send it to the Supreme Court hoping that they'll do what we want them to do.
	We don't worry about them.
	They don't have the right anyway.
	Just do it in the state.
	That's right.
	It's going to take state officials who will stand up.
	It's going to have to be a bottom-up grassroots revolution.
	Again, it is absolute folly to think that the powerful politicians, this corrupt organization who can murder anybody that's going to expose their criminal actions at will and not ever pay any penalty for it.
	It's absolute insanity to think these people are going to give up any of the power and money that they have worked so hard to get.
	And that they can get away with absolute murder to do it.
	We're going to have to take it back at the grassroots level, and we can do that.
	And we can do it, but we must do it with an organization that has the ability to have party members elected.
	If you don't elect people of that caliber, you won't have that caliber.
	You can't guarantee it in any of the current political parties that are known about.
	So you get yourself involved in a party that's trying to do those kinds of things legally and quietly.
	And I tell you, that's why it is so important for them to shut down free speech on the internet.
	Free speech on social media.
	Because they've been able to do that with third parties in debates.
	And you know this if you've been involved with a third party, Richard.
	You know that the way I saw it in North Carolina, They would have the debates being run by the State Press Association.
	And they would say, well, we only want Democrats and Republicans, and we're a private organization, so we can do whatever we want.
	And that is the same cookie-cutter approach that they're using to shut down the ability to get that information around the establishment roadblock.
	And so we've got to find a way.
	It ultimately gets back to free speech to get that message out.
