	And now, live from the Infowars.com studios in Austin, Texas, it's your host, David Knight.
	Welcome on this Thursday, July 12, 2018.
	We're going to take a look at some new news that has come out about medical marijuana, as well as Monsanto's Roundup glyphosate.
	It's the substance, Roundup is the trade name.
	And as well as some information about opioids that have come up, we're going to take a look at what's happening with the vetting of Brett Kavanaugh, the Supreme Court Justice pick by President Trump.
	Amazing to see that we have Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein sending out messages to all of the people who report to him.
	It's a hundred prosecutors.
	He's got 93 U.S.
	attorneys.
	And he wants each of them to provide up to three federal prosecutors to assist the Justice Department in reviewing government records of President Trump's Supreme Court nominee.
	This has never been done before.
	Even the New York Times says this is a really unusual insertion of politics into federal law enforcement.
	This is something we've been seeing for quite a long time.
	Rod Rosenstein, Bob Mueller, James Comey have been inserting politics into law enforcement for quite some time over the last couple of years.
	It's actually not anything new, but it is stunning that this continues under President Trump's Justice Department, this kind of political persecution.
	And they came up with something.
	They came up with something.
	They actually found that Brett Kavanaugh spent tens of thousands of dollars buying baseball tickets for he, season tickets for himself and for his friends.
	And then they reimbursed him and he paid off the credit card bills.
	It's like, what's the big deal?
	But it's an opportunity to smear him.
	To make him look like he's addicted to baseball.
	Maybe he likes mom and apple pie too.
	I don't know what the deal is with this, but this is the kind of scrutiny and nonsense that's going to be provided.
	Let's not look at his Supreme Court decision, or his court decisions.
	Before he gets to the Supreme Court.
	Let's not bet him on those aspects.
	And again, I have problems with Brett Kavanaugh.
	I don't really care if he gets appointed, frankly.
	I don't think the Democrats are going to win.
	I think they're going to get smeared in the fall.
	I think it's going to be a big surprise.
	They've got quite a few seats that are in contention.
	They've got about 10 seats that are in contention, and they're not looking that good for the Senate.
	So I think that President Trump will be in an even stronger position after this election.
	And I would rather see somebody who's more conservative.
	So frankly, I don't care if Kavanaugh makes it or not.
	However, this is absolutely beyond the pale.
	So we're going to talk about that.
	We're going to talk about what's happened in NATO.
	This is President Trump has wound up NATO and there's some new things that have happened.
	And I want to talk about a little bit more detail than we did yesterday about the true mission of NATO.
	What can we learn about what they're doing?
	What are the true risks?
	What does Germany's actions really tell us about this?
	You know, we have some interesting statements made yesterday.
	I was absolutely amazed.
	After the show, I walked in to clean up my coffee cup in the break room and Shepard Smith was on Fox News doing the most boot-licking report on the military-industrial complex, NATO, that I've ever seen in my life.
	This is the guy Who has gone on record haranguing his fellow Fox News hosts that come on in the evening, the ones that people actually watch, unlike Shepard Smith.
	People like Sean Hannity, people like Tucker Carlson, saying they're not real reporters, I'm a real reporter.
	They just do opinions.
	Let me tell you, I'm going to play some of this stuff, and I'm going to comment on it, and you're going to see some of the most opinionated, statist shilling for the military-industrial complex you've ever seen.
	But it's not just him.
	It's 97 to 2 that the Senate said, we love NATO.
	We love the military-industrial complex.
	I'm going to give you some more data points about the way we spend money.
	We can complain about Europe not spending enough.
	I think maybe we're spending way too much.
	Way too much.

	President Trump is on his way to the UK after the NATO meeting.
	Actually, he might be there now.
	We're going to talk about what's happening there, what happened in NATO.
	You know, they're saying tens of thousands of people have signed up ...along with their Sadiq Khan Trump baby balloon to protest President Trump.
	But they had thousands of people that had signed up to protest him in NATO, at the NATO meeting, and they had just a couple of dozen people show up.
	So we don't know what's going to happen, what'll happen there.
	It really doesn't matter.
	The bottom line is, is that whether they like President Trump or not, Brexit is now more popular than it has ever been.
	Even as the establishment press and the establishment politicians are trying to push back on it, they have not had the fulfilled dire prophecies of economic collapse.
	As a matter of fact, as I read to you yesterday, by every metric, they are exceeding the EU average and doing much, much better than they did before Brexit was passed.
	Their economy is cooking and unemployment is down.
	And you have populist politicians who are working on nationalism, are winning elections across Europe.
	So maybe they don't like President Trump personally.
	Who cares?
	I don't care.
	They don't get a vote.
	But when they do vote, they vote for populism, they vote for self-rule, they vote to control their own economy, and it's working out.
	And that's even true in the UK, even though they may wind up finding tens of thousands of Antifa protesters, people like that.
	We'll talk about that later, again, what's happening with the Antifa protesters.
	We're going to talk about NATO, we're going to talk about what's going on in terms of Kavanaugh, as I've mentioned at the top of the hour.
	We have Rod Rosenstein asking all 93 U.S.
	attorneys underneath him To provide up to three federal prosecutors to review government records of Brett Kavanaugh.
	This has never been done before.
	The New York Times says this is an unusual insertion of politics into federal law enforcement.
	Fire him!
	Fire Rod Rosenstein!
	How many times does he have to intrude politics into federal law enforcement?
	His own politics.
	This is disgusting to see this type of thing happen.
	Former law enforcement officials told the New York Times it is flat-out wrong to have career federal prosecutors engaged in a political process like the vetting of a Supreme Court nominee.
	This has never been done before.
	A lot of things being done right now that have never been done before.
	Both by President Trump and by his opposition because they don't like the fact that he is changing things.
	So they're pulling out all the stops.
	Absolutely amazing.
	We're going to talk about that later.
	We'll talk about Schumer and his conspiracy theories.
	The conspiracy theories being put out by NBC in terms of how President Trump chose Kavanaugh and so forth.
	We'll talk about all that.
	And as I said before, I don't have a dog in this fight because I don't agree with Kavanaugh as a pick.
	We're going to have all nine justices, all from Harvard and Yale, all establishment people, as I said yesterday, played the clip from Judge Napolitano.
	He goes, this is a deep state pick.
	This is a swamp pick.
	This is exactly what President Trump said he would not do.
	This is not at all like Neil Gorsuch.
	There were two candidates on the list who were outside of the beltway, outside of Harvard and Yale.
	They had conservative credentials that were better than Kavanaugh.
	Whatever.
	I don't really care if he makes it or not.
	We're going to have more Republican senators after this next election.
	You can count on that.
	That's my prediction.
	No doubt about it in my mind.
	No doubt about it.
	And we'll give you some more data points as to why that's going to happen later on in the program.
	I want to start with some health news here.
	Because, yeah, it's important what's going on with NATO.
	It's important what's going on in the Global geopolitical scene.
	But also, let's talk about where we live, right?
	You struggle with cancer with your friends and your family.
	You struggle with autism, that epidemic that has now come.
	Cancer used to be rare.
	Autism used to be rare.
	They're not anymore.
	Why is that?
	And what can we do about that?
	We now have the state of Michigan has said that autism and arthritis are now listed as conditions that people can get and use medical marijuana for.
	The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs listed 11 debilitating medical conditions, including autism, arthritis, Parkinson's disease, Tourette's syndrome.
	They've now been treatable, listed as treatable by marijuana.
	Other things like colitis and inflammatory bowel disease, which makes a great deal of sense, folks.
	When you look at things that are chronic pain, When you look at things that have to do with your gut and digestion and so forth, we know that marijuana has been very, very effective in terms of helping people with nausea when they're undergoing chemotherapy.
	That was one of the first obvious uses of that.
	And I remember Peter McWilliams wrote a book, It's Nobody's Business If You Do, and he talked about a great deal of things from a libertarian perspective.
	He was a homosexual who had AIDS.
	He was a libertarian and he had to fight the California government, especially a particular judge who had a vendetta against him and against the medical use of marijuana.
	He said, I have to take these drugs because he had AIDS.
	He had to take drugs very much like chemotherapy for cancer patients and it made him incredibly sick.
	Incredibly sick.
	And the judge locked him up to keep him From getting medical marijuana and he choked on his own vomit and died.
	I mean, this is disgusting, folks, to do this to people.
	It's absolutely disgusting.
	Where is your humanity?
	Where is the idea that first we do no harm?
	And so, to see that it's useful for things like inflammatory bowel disease and colitis, that doesn't surprise me at all.
	It's also been listed to be helpful for things like cancer, glaucoma, ALS.
	It's also on the list.
	And as one person said about her son, 11-year-old son, who has autism, has had major issues with behavioral problems.
	She said, it is definitely opening the doors to be able to help many, many families.
	I honestly feel like it saved my son's life.
	Because of cannabis oil, he hasn't had encounters with the police in over a year.
	And it's changed our lives.
	You hear that?
	Maybe that's why it saved his life.
	I mean, if his issue is behavioral, and if he's having Police encounters, yeah, they could kill him.
	They could kill him over these behavioral encounters.
	It could save his life because of that.
	You know, the amazing thing is, is that the real side effect of cannabis for the longest time has been police encounters, hasn't it?
	They might kill you when they encounter you.
	They might lock you up for life when they encounter you.
	It's about time we stop kicking medicine out of people's hands and locking them up.
	And there's an article on Forbes that came out, why President Trump is positioned to be marijuana's great savior, and how the Democrats blew it.
	And I don't really care whether marijuana is safe.
	Let's talk about our health, our choice, and liberty.
	And so President Trump could be the great savior of liberty.
	He could be the great savior of reasonable health care that is affordable on many of these issues.
	And they lay the case out here.
	They said, It's an idea that may sound counterintuitive to many Americans, the fact that President Trump would save marijuana.
	They falsely believe that Democrats and their allies on the left have been the only ones championing legalizing cannabis.
	And that, quite frankly, is not true.
	And I'll tell you why here.
	They said that when they go back and they look at President Trump, of course, he made the statements saying that he would support the States Act This is a bipartisan bill that was introduced by Republican Cory Gardner, a senator from Colorado, and by Elizabeth Warren.
	Yes, even Elizabeth.
	He wouldn't support even a bill put out by Focahontas if it does the right thing.
	Good for Trump.
	And so they co-sponsored this thing called the States Act.
	It would exempt legal, state-licensed cannabis businesses from the Controlled Substances Act, which is nothing but a U.N.
	agenda.
	It was created, the four schedules were created in 1961 by the United Nations.
	They put marijuana in as a class one drug, saying it was highly addicted and it had absolutely no medical use.
	Big lie from the U.N.
	with their agenda.
	And ten years later, Richard Nixon, bless his heart, ...enacted that and called it the war on drugs.
	And we've been suffering under that ever since.

	Let's talk about marijuana prohibition and how President Trump may end at least that insanity.
	I'm not talking about ending the entire war on drugs, but he has said, and he said this when he was campaigning.
	This isn't something that just began with him saying that he would probably support the States Act.
	That's a bipartisan bill by Senator Cory Gardner, Republican of Colorado, and Elizabeth Warren.
	Uh, who we all know, uh, that would basically get the federal government off the back of people who had states that had nullified this.
	And quite frankly, I think we don't need this.
	We've got the 10th amendment.
	I find it very interesting that even though Jeff Sessions wants to do something about this, nobody has done anything about this because states and voters, and this has happened with both legislatures and, uh, the voters themselves and referendum.
	They have legalized marijuana for medical use and for recreational use.
	So there.
	Take that, Washington.
	Take that, DEA.
	Take that, DOJ.
	Do something about it, please!
	Show us that you've got the authority to do something about that.
	They don't want that fight.
	They like to bluff and intimidate people, but when you call them on it, they back off.
	Another example I'll give you.
	The Pulpit Freedom Sunday.
	It was organized by a Christian group.
	They didn't like the fact that LBJ got angry at churches that opposed him when he was running for office.
	I think he was running as a senator at the time.
	Maybe he was a congressman.
	I don't remember.
	And so he decided that he would put a gag order on them using the IRS.
	And so that's the Johnson rule that was put in by the IRS.
	And so a lot of people said, well we think we ought to be able to talk about politics, because you know the liberal churches could talk about politics, it was just conservatives that were throttled.
	And so to call the hand of the IRS, because they knew that there was a direct violation of the First Amendment, both political speech and the free exercise of religion, both parts of the First Amendment, they violated with that rule.
	So what they did was explicitly On Pulpit Freedom Sunday, they would explicitly preach a sermon that was political and endorsed a specific candidate.
	And they recorded it on audio and sent the file to the IRS and said, do something about it.
	Put up or shut up.
	Stop intimidating people about this.
	And the IRS, for years, wouldn't do anything.
	First, it was four or five brave individuals.
	And then the protest grew and grew and grew.
	It got to hundreds of people who did that.
	And in the same way, we have seen now over 60% of the states legalize marijuana in one way or the other and defy the federal government to do anything about it.
	That's nullification.
	That's the way you take your freedom back.
	We don't have to have a law from Cory Gardner and Elizabeth Warren.
	That's fine.
	If you want to do that, that's fine.
	But we can take our freedom back that way.
	And I'll give you a third one.
	And that is the Gun-Free School Act that was a bipartisan effort with George H.W.
	Bush and Joe Biden.
	It was Biden's bill and Bush signed it after it was passed by the Congress, saying you can't have guns in schools.
	Well, everybody abided by that for about 14 years.
	Well, like 1992, I think it's 2006 or something.
	After one of the school shootings, people in Texas and other places said, you know what?
	We're going to vet and train teachers to carry concealed in our schools.
	And I don't really care if there's a federal law saying you can't have a gun within a thousand feet of a school.
	The safety of our children is more important.
	People have said our health is more important than what the federal government says.
	So we've nullified them on marijuana.
	We've nullified them on guns.
	We've nullified them on free speech restrictions.
	So come after us.
	Come after us.
	But this is something that President Trump It's getting out in front of us.
	Forbes talks about this.
	So during the 2016 campaign in Colorado, he was asked if his administration would crack down on cannabis.
	He says, I wouldn't do that.
	No, I think it should be up to the states.
	Absolutely.
	A year before that, in October 2015, President Trump at a campaign rally said the marijuana thing is such a big thing.
	I think medical should happen, right?
	Don't we agree?
	I think so.
	I think that should be a state issue, state by state.
	He says that he doesn't agree with full legalization.
	Of course he doesn't.
	Because he doesn't drink.
	Neither do I. I don't use marijuana either.
	I don't want to use marijuana legally.
	But if I need to use it or my family needs to use it for medicine, I'm not asking permission.
	Not asking permission.
	Sorry, Jeff Sessions.
	Not asking permission to the DEA or anybody else.
	It's none of your business if I do.
	He said if they vote for it, they vote for it.
	But they've got a lot of problems going on right now in Colorado, some big problems.
	But I think medical marijuana, said President Trump, 100%.
	So is this a Democrat issue, as many people think?
	They think really the Democrats and the left are the ones who are supporting this?
	Well, not really.
	The Forbes article points out that the state's Rights to Medical Marijuana Act is the only thing that was offered throughout the 2000s.
	Guess where that came from?
	Ron Paul.
	And also Democrat Barney Frank.
	So these are people that were not in the, I would say, mainstream establishment thought on this.
	Most of them support the war on drugs, just like they support NATO.
	And we'll talk about that coming up here in a moment.
	The Democrats, as I said, have been very slow to embrace reform.
	Chuck Schumer is opposing the States Act.
	It was put together by Elizabeth Warren and Cory Gardner that President Trump said he would support.
	Chuck Schumer does not.
	And he is the leader of the minority, the Democrat minority in the Senate.
	That's why they're going to be a bigger minority.
	And then they pointed out that all of the draconian measures that were passed under Reagan were heavily championed also by Tip O'Neill, who was the Speaker of the House at the time.
	So it was a bipartisan effort by the Republican President and the Democrat House Speaker to push this through.
	Dianne Feinstein has opposed every Easing of restrictions on the war on drugs.
	Every one of them.
	Every initiative in California, she has opposed.
	1996, she opposed the one that passed in 2016 that ended prohibition in the state.
	Dianne Feinstein has continually opposed that, but even Dianne Feinstein is starting to come around.
	Because she can see the handwriting on the wall.
	President Obama, they said, well, he's celebrated the cannabis industry and so forth, and they think of him as being the champion, but he never did anything.
	As Forbes said, he didn't have the political courage.
	No, it wasn't political courage.
	He knew that he could get away with it.
	He had gotten away with it as a kid of a CIA family.
	Talked about how he would smoke joints all the time.
	He knew nothing was going to happen to him.
	Nothing happens to the Bush family.
	They get caught with drugs or alcohol.
	They get a free pass.
	It's the way it is with all these people.
	The Kennedy family or the Obamas.
	Nothing happens to these people.
	It's the little guys that go to jail for extreme periods of time.
	While the Democrats control Congress and the White House from 2008 to 2010, not a single major marijuana reform legislation was approved of.
	So you think that they are supporting this?
	People on the left?
	They're not.
	In 2010, two years before Colorado and Washington voted to legalize, 54% of Democrats already supported full legalization, according to Gallup.
	But you couldn't find a single Democrat leader on the national stage that would support it.
	The President Trump does.
	And everybody understands that it's done now.
	I mean, you see Dianne Feinstein supporting it.
	You got Oklahoma, heavy red state, just supporting it.
	Alright, when we come back, we're going to talk about what is legal.
	Which is opioids.
	They love opioids.
	They hate marijuana.
	Doesn't that tell you something?

	Living in volcano may sound more dramatic than it really is.

	As Forbes was saying, President Trump is positioned to be the savior of medical marijuana.
	And he might do that.
	It's going to be something that is going to be big political gains for President Trump.
	There's no political downside to this.
	There is no political downside to allowing people access to effective, affordable medicine.
	There is a political downside to overriding the will of the people Overriding elections, overriding what state legislatures do, doing it unconstitutionally.
	I mean, for so many reasons, Jeff Sessions needs to be out of the Trump administration.
	But he is powerless, because if he could do something, folks, he would have done it by now.
	As I point out, that's nullification.
	Whether it's pot, whether it's guns, whether it's free speech, you can nullify the federal government.
	But let's talk about the real problem, which is not marijuana.
	The real problem, of course, are opioids.
	One in five deaths among young adults is opioid-related, says a new study.
	This is from Breitbart.com.
	They said a study by St.
	Michael's Hospital of Toronto that just came out in June found that one in five deaths among young adults in the U.S.
	is now related to opioid drugs.
	The percentage of deaths attributable to opioids in the U.S.
	increased by 292 percent From 2001 to 2016, that's a 15-year period, with one in every 65 deaths related to opioid use by 2016.
	Seventy percent of those who died were male.
	They said it exceeds the years of life that were lost each year from hypertension, high blood pressure, HIV, AIDS and pneumonia.
	The FDA held hearings on Monday That said, chronic pain advocates express concern that people who truly need painkillers are not getting them because the stampede to do something about the opioid crisis is mistakenly targeting prescription drugs.
	So here's the problem that they got.
	They have to allow opioids for the big pharmaceutical companies while they want to prohibit marijuana.
	As I began this segment, I said, They've just added more conditions to the list in Michigan that said these are conditions that can be helped by medical marijuana.
	We're going to allow people to get medical marijuana for these conditions.
	And one of those folks is chronic pain.
	We've had a lot of testimony about this.
	As a matter of fact, not only are opioids no more effective than over-the-counter pain medication, we've had many doctors Tell us that.
	There's absolutely no reason to take an opioid prescription.
	No reason whatsoever.
	We don't even need to have this discussion.
	It's simply because of the greed of the big pharmaceutical companies and the reps.
	Those people need to be thrown into prison.
	And so it is no better than over-the-prescription pain medication.
	And it's no better than medical marijuana for pain medication.
	And by the way, if you get addicted Guess what one of the most effective treatments are to stop the addiction?
	Medical marijuana.
	So it not only can keep you from getting addicted, it can help you to get over the addiction.
	But we talk about this and of course this has been something that has been the issue of the government coming in and stopping palliative care.
	People who are trying to take something for their the chronic pain conditions that they have because of cancer or for something else.
	And they say, well, we're worried about addiction and so forth, and so they highly regulate that.
	If you have a doctor who prescribes too much of that, they're always looking over the doctor's shoulder.
	They might pull his license or do other things to him.
	Now, of course, they're doing that to doctors who say, we're not going to give vaccines to people who've had an adverse reaction.
	So, oh, now we're going to look over your shoulder.
	Now we're going to pull your license.
	Now we're going to go back and look at everything that you've done before we pass this mandatory vaccination law.
	Ex post facto.
	Prosecution.
	Anyway, USA Today quotes the Florida House Speaker Richard Corcoran's defense of tough regulations on prescription opioids in the state.
	He said, is this an inconvenience that we have put on people?
	Yes, it is an inconvenience.
	Is it worth saving 50,000 lives nationwide?
	Absolutely.
	But as Breitbart asks, what if it's not saving 50,000 lives nationwide?
	Does it matter?
	That you put extra restrictions on people for IDing them?
	That you only give them one week of prescriptions at a time?
	Last year we had CVS say that we're only going to give you seven days worth of these dangerous drugs at a time, so you have to come back again in a week.
	It's like, so what?
	And now we've had Walmart do that back in May.
	The New York Times said prescriptions for opioids have been falling since 2012, even as the overdose death toll has continued to rise.
	Last week, Stat News reviewed social media posts from cancer patients and caregivers to bring attention to the vastly underestimated, under-reported, under-prescription crisis caused by regulations and policies that keep drugs from people who desperately need them.
	Well, simple fact, the matter is, you don't need those drugs.
	There are other things that are safer, more effective, cheaper.
	They don't make profits for the big pharmaceutical companies that give the money to the senators and the congressmen who keep this thing going, or the state representatives.
	They don't push the Federal Drug Administration.
	See, there should be, if we look at the 10th Amendment, we should not have a federal drug, the FDA.
	We shouldn't have the DEA.
	It's none of their business.
	If you want that, if you're foolish enough to want that, pass an amendment like we had the 18th Amendment that said we're going to outlaw alcohol.
	And we're going to monitor everybody's use of alcohol.
	They had to pass the 18th Amendment because they had the 10th Amendment.
	Well, where's the amendment to say that they can do anything about marijuana or any of these other things?
	Where is the amendment that says that I have to get the permission of the FDA or the AMA to medicate myself?
	It's none of their business!
	None of their business.
	When are we going to stand up for our freedom?
	I don't know.
	But let's talk about the other side of this.
	Of course, as we look at the opioids, they're being put out there, and then the glyphosate.
	So we now have U.S.
	cancer victims can sue Monsanto.
	We had a couple years ago, in 2015, we had the World Health Organization say that Roundup, that's the trade name of glyphosate, the chemical that's developed by Monsanto, said that it was a probable human carcinogen.
	They said, yes, it does cause cancer in animals and it is a probable human carcinogen.
	And as I've said before, my dog, That I had back in the 80s.
	Came down with the same rare form of cancer.
	And just as I had heard that, I heard a report about how you had all these farmers who were using glyphosates coming down with the same thing.
	Of course, my dog, I believe, got it from lawn treatment.
	Doing the weed killer.
	The neighbors putting it on their yard.
	We lived in the suburbs at the time.
	But after the World Health Organization came out, the regulators, who have been captured by big business in both the U.S.
	and the EU, concluded that it was safe.
	And so they re-licensed it for its uses in gardens and farms.
	Here in Austin, one of the few things they've done right, as CJ told me, they have banned Roundup in the Austin parks here.
	But now we had a U.S.
	District Judge Described the expert testimony as shaky, but crucially ruled that a reasonable jury could conclude, based on findings of three approved experts, that glyphosate can cause cancer in humans.
	Monsanto is fighting this.
	But I want to read you this statement.
	This was republished by Zero Hedge.
	This guy said, this wants to be published again.
	Let me tell you how this all works.
	He said, I worked with a bacteria from which the gene coding for the BT toxin was taken and inserted into corn.
	He said, did you know that this bacteria is nearly 100% identical to the bacteria that causes anthrax at the chromosomal level?
	Well, now you do, but you won't see that on any box of cornflakes.
	He said, they used to spray this stuff directly on the crops and you could wash it off.
	But then they got the idea that they would genetically modify it and put it inside the corn.
	And you can't wash that off.

	And there was one article that really hit home with me when I was in high school.
	I'd been reading it for years, but this one really hit home.
	And they were talking about the difference between the attitudes of people in Europe who had a more socialist outlook and the attitudes of people in America.
	And what they said, this guy who is a wealthy European, he said, if I park my nice car on the street, people will come along and key it or do other things to try to damage it.
	He said, but if you have a car like that in America, the people will walk by and say, someday I'm going to own a car like that.
	And see, that's the difference.
	They have envy.
	We offer aspiration.
	They tell you you're going to get your stuff for free, whether it's free health care, free education, free housing, free, free, free, free, free, right?
	No, we tell you we're not going to give you free stuff.
	We're going to give you freedom.
	And you can do what you want.
	You can try to obtain this stuff.
	You don't have to go out trying to collect toys for your whole life.
	That doesn't have to be the central part of your life.
	But we're not going to take stuff away from people because we had to do that.
	We had to take away those yachts within yachts from other people, then we take away your freedom as well.
	But let me give you an example of the hypocrisy of the left on these issues.
	We just had a guy, a former mainline, that's the name of the company, investment banker.
	He was known as the godfather of payday lending.
	He preyed on low-income borrowers.
	He was sentenced on Friday to 14 years in federal prison.
	He was stripped of over 64 million dollars in assets.
	The lawyers for this guy, who is now 77, said this is going to be a death sentence for him.
	A jury convicted him of 17 counts, including racketeering, international money laundering, and fraud.
	He had dozens of companies.
	He made $492 million off an estimated 1.4 million low-income borrowers between 2007 and 2013.
	That's just the period under the indictment.
	They took a forfeiture order, which they did.
	Hey, here's the important thing, folks.
	They forfeited his assets after the conviction.
	That's the way it's supposed to be done.
	I don't have a problem when somebody is convicted of criminal actions, taking away their stuff.
	I have a problem with civil asset forfeiture, which takes away your stuff without a conviction, doesn't even require that you be charged with anything.
	But they convicted them, they had a forfeiture order, they took away His 1.8 million dollar mansion, his multiple bank accounts, his small fleet of luxury cars, including $142,000 Bentley, also ordered him to pay a two and a half million dollar fine.
	But guess who else does this kind of stuff?
	It was Obama's Treasury Secretary, is now still doing this kind of thing, Tim Geithner.
	He's got a firm and I reported on this last week.
	You know, they're getting their money for 4%, they're loaning it out in the mid 30% range.
	This kind of stuff has been going on for the big banks for quite some time.
	Who was it that created the banks that were too big to fail?
	That was the predecessor to the collapse, the economic collapse.
	That was Democrat Bill Clinton.
	It was Bill Clinton who got rid of Glass-Steagall.
	Glass-Steagall was put in after the Depression to keep the banks from getting involved in speculative investments, like these derivative things that they cooked up.
	And so because he took away that regulation, they were able to do all that stuff.
	Yeah, it blew up on George W. Bush, and he could have put it back in, and he didn't, so fine.
	Blame him, too.
	But it was Clinton and his connections that took that off.
	And it was Clinton who started the rash of bank mergers.
	I remember when it happened.
	I was in North Carolina.
	They had Nations Bank.
	Very big bank.
	They merged with Bank of America.
	They took the name Bank of America at that point, and they moved their headquarters from California.
	Bank of America is headquartered in California.
	Once they merged, they moved it to Charlotte, North Carolina, which is where Nations Bank was involved.
	Now, the guy that was the chief of staff of Bill Clinton, a guy who was very big in North Carolina Democrat politics, Was the guy who pushed this through and green-lighted it.
	He was also very big in the banking community there.
	And when that happened, everybody said, this is going to result in a consolidation.
	We only have about a half dozen banks.
	And that's what happened.
	They became too big to fail.
	Too big to jail.
	They took off all the restrictions on it.
	Now we got Timothy Geithner, who was Obama's Treasury Secretary.
	These socialists, it's just like we saw in Venezuela.
	These socialist Take the property and then after Hugo Chavez took it, you know, he starts to hand it out to himself and to his cronies.
	That's the way these guys operate.
	It's absolutely amazing.

	Let's take a look at the Democrats.
	Not just Ocasio-Cortez, but it's also Bernie Sandinista!
	He has now got a movement going in the DNC to push back against the superdelegates.
	And folks, this is why we have Russiagate that has been going on for such a long time.
	It's why we can't have nice things.
	It's because Hillary rigged the election.
	And then you had people inside the DNC blew the whistle on it, and she said, but it was the Russians who did it.
	Look, the Russians released this information, this true information about me that makes everybody hate me.
	It was the Russians who made everybody hate me by telling the truth about me.
	And so this is, as Politico is pointing out, a band of DNC superdelegates is about to stage a revolt against the Bernie Sanders-endorsed plan to reduce their influence in the presidential nominating process.
	The proposal, a priority of Sanders supporters, since his defeat, they said they would prohibit superdelegates to make up about 15% of the delegates.
	See, Hillary had the nomination wrapped up even before the first votes were cast, because she had the superdelegates.
	And she had also bought the DNC, like good Democrats.
	They had spent themselves into millions of dollars worth of debt.
	She said, hey, I've got a racketeering organization here that is flush with cash, the Clinton Foundation.
	Let's buy off the DNC.
	And that's exactly what she did.
	And of course, she's been making these relationships with people in the Democrat Party for quite some time.
	So, you know, actually, I think when you look at Bernie Sanders, The real irony here is, as I look at this old guy, he kind of reminds me of Lenin.
	The irony is, is that Russia is no longer communist.
	You know, the whole thing, better dead than red, that's what the left is saying now, because they put the, you know, red used to be the symbol of the communists and so forth, and so they have now labeled that as the conservative states and everything in a reversal to try to confuse everybody.
	But yeah, they hate everything red now.
	They say that Republicans are red and Russia is red, except that in Russia, they don't like the Communists.
	It's like only 30% of the people identify with Communism, far less than we have here in America.
	The New, Democrat, Socialist, Left, proud of their Communist background, are embracing all of that stuff.
	So I question whether or not, you know, we've got in Russia, a large number of people say, we would like to get rid of Lennon once and for all.
	You know, they mummified him, they put him in a glass coffin, they've got him in Red Square and so forth.
	I said, let's get rid of this.
	Come on.
	It's time we move on from this horrible period in our history.
	But I think that when Bernie dies, I think they might mummify him, put him in a glass coffin and put him in Harvard Square because there the left and the northeast can worship him.
	That's probably what they'll do to Bernie Sandinista.

	Let's talk about NATO.
	President Trump has wrapped up NATO.
	He's on his way to the UK.
	Actually, he might be there by now.
	We're going to talk about what's going to happen in the UK as well.
	But as I was saying at the top of the hour, we just had a gun buyback program in San Francisco.
	They're paying $200 for weapons, rifles, and so somebody took a block of wood, they zip-tied a pipe to it, a black pipe to it, there you can see the picture of it, and they sold it to the cops for 200 bucks.
	And I said, you know, maybe they can sell it to the German army because they're having to run around back in 2015 with broomsticks painted black to pretend that they had rifles they've got Commercial Mercedes that they were pretending were tanks.
	They've got six submarines none of which are working Maybe they can get a submarine from Elon Musk.
	You know maybe he can send it in from Thailand or something a little miniature ones It's pretty silly when we look at what's happening with Germany one of the wealthiest countries in Europe and the world and They don't want to pay for their defense.
	What does that tell us about this?
	You know when we look at NATO and There was a great quote last week Before President Trump went to the NATO meeting, Washington Post asked the question, will NATO survive Trump?
	And I would ask, why should it?
	What is the purpose of NATO?
	Do we want peace?
	Is that what it's there for?
	You know, we're supposed to have peace through deterrence.
	And so we have a big military, which is like mutual assured destruction.
	It's like, don't invade us.
	We can defend ourselves and so forth.
	That's that was the basis for which we created NATO.
	But we lose our sight on institutions so frequently.
	Take schools, for example, right?
	We have these factory system schools that are not conducive to education.
	I say that conclusively because we have, in the biggest, most expensive school districts, where they're spending the most on students, we have illiteracy rates that are nearly 100 percent.
	95, 98 percent illiterate.
	Can't do math, same percentage.
	And yet we just keep spending more and more money because we have become attached to the institution.
	We think that schools are education.
	No, they're not necessarily.
	And we need to rethink that assembly line institution that I think has out served its purpose and is a demonstrable failure.
	We're going to tell you why NATO is a demonstrable failure as well.
	But they also had this in the Washington Post article.
	This quote, European leaders worry that Trump could bargain away their security in the name of better relations with the Kremlin.
	Well, if NATO was set up to stop the Kremlin from invading the EU, wouldn't better relations with the Kremlin increase their security?
	This is the insanity behind all of this opposition to doing something about NATO.
	Having these people pay for their defense.
	Or letting us get out of it, defending them and so forth.
	This is hypocrisy, folks.
	You know, what if you could have peace without the war?
	Oh, you don't like that, do you?
	You don't like having peace without a lot of military spending.
	Yeah, we're talking about the trade issue, and that's really the bottom line here.
	We look at the educational failure of our institutions, our schools, how they fail to educate people.
	Let's look at how NATO has failed.
	We've got NATO tackling the Afghan conflict, reports the BBC.
	At the same time, they say Taliban militants have reportedly killed up to 30 soldiers in an attack on Afghan army posts this last Thursday.
	They are escalating.
	They're not winning this war.
	You have NATO's Secretary General hopes that the NATO bloc will agree to fund more of the same.
	We need to keep security forces in Afghanistan until at least 2024.
	They're never leaving if they have their way.
	Just keep doing more of the same.
	Britain's Theresa May.
	So brave.
	Such a saber-rattler.
	She has committed 440 more troops.
	Isn't that great?
	But non-combat roles in Afghanistan.
	No, it's American soldiers who will do the fighting for Theresa May.
	You'll put American soldiers on.
	We will be their unpaid mercenaries.
	As a matter of fact, like President Trump is saying, we get to pay to defend them.
	Isn't that a great deal?
	Is that a great deal?
	We're being stupid with this, as President Trump said.
	The U.S.
	is also committed to an extra 3,000 troops.
	So we add 3,000, they add 440.
	But we add 3,000 combat troops, they add 440 non-combat troops.
	But we add 3,000 combat troops, they add 440 non-combat troops.
	Does that sound like a fair deal?
	It's going to bring our total up to 15,000.
	Are we winning this war?
	Are we going to win it if we get even more troops?
	You know, that was the surge that we had, the genius idea that we had with Petraeus.
	Now that stuff has worked.
	Hasn't worked in Iraq.
	Hasn't worked in Afghanistan.
	17 years this has been going on.
	And they're going to just keep this going.
	Maybe they should talk to Vladimir.
	President Trump should talk to Vladimir Putin about Russia's experience in Afghanistan.
	Yeah.
	Take a look at that.
	Take a look at what happened to Russia.
	You know, Afghanistan has basically chewed up every empire that's gone in there.
	They chewed up the Soviet Union.
	They chewed up the British Empire at its strength.
	And we're going to let them chew us up as well.
	We'll just keep staying there.
	Just grind everybody down in Afghanistan.
	It's a slow burn.
	And we're going to stay there forever, apparently.
	So Trump is at NATO.
	He says he's fighting for a level playing field for our farmers.
	He says, I'm in Brussels, but I'm thinking about our farmers.
	Soybeans fell 50% from the 2012 to my election.
	He said, farmers have done poorly for 15 years.
	Other countries' trade barriers and tariffs have been destroying their business.
	I'll open things up better than ever before, but it can't go too quickly.
	I'm fighting for a level playing field for our farmers, and we will win.
	Well, this is happening.
	Because President Trump is pointing out part of what he was saying to Germany was that you guys here in Europe you got an 180 some odd billion dollar surplus with the United States.
	Germany and other countries have taxes in Europe.
	The tax tariffs that they put on cars are four times what we put on their cars coming into our country.
	For China it's 10 to 1.
	For Europe it's 4 to 1.
	Does that sound reasonable?
	And yet we're supposed to protect them.
	Here's what Wesley Clark said.
	He said, President Trump really doesn't understand the purpose of NATO.
	And listen to Wesley Clark, who claims to know what the purpose of NATO is.
	Doesn't seem that he really understands what this is about.
	For example, if you wanted to do something to deal with China's unfair trade practices, well, that's what NATO is about.
	Because it builds the bonds with Europe, and then you go to Europe and say, look, this is about security for all of us.
	We have to deal with these unfair trade practices before they get totally out of control.
	But instead, he picks a fight with everybody.
	Now, that may be good campaign rhetoric, but to try to do it all simultaneously is going to get tangled up over his own feet.
	It's not going to go where it should go.
	Well, as I just read to you, President Trump understands that there's a trade war with China.
	He understands that there's also a trade war with the EU.
	When they have four times the taxes on our goods that we do, when they have a $180 billion surplus instead of $800 billion with China, something needs to be done in both areas.
	As Politico points out, Germany, a wealthy country with a robust economy, is not among the handful of countries in NATO that even spend 2% of their gross domestic product on defense.
	Trump frequently complains that the U.S.
	has a trade deficit in goods with Germany.
	Germany alone, $65 billion.
	And they don't want to pay for their defense.
	And as I said yesterday, if they don't want to pay for their defense, then they don't feel threatened.
	And, uh, or they think that they can get us to defend, but they don't feel threatened because they have put themselves at the mercy of Russia.
	This is what president Trump was saying yesterday.
	He was making a couple of points.
	You know, we are about to become the biggest exporter of, uh, oil and petroleum based products.
	Thanks to the election of president Trump and getting Obama out who was intent on shutting down our vast supplies of energy.
	We have more in terms of even before we had.
	The additional discoveries of oil and the additional techniques to get it out with fracking.
	We had more petroleum-based fuel.
	Fossil-based fuel, they like to say.
	It's not fossil.
	Anyway, we had more coal than Saudi Arabia had oil.
	And then we got natural gas and we've got fracking and so forth.
	Why don't you buy your energy from us instead of from Russia?
	If you're concerned about Russia, why are you putting your lifeblood, your energy supply, at their mercy?
	Why aren't you spending money on your defense?

	And as I said before, what is the purpose?
	Is it to have peace?
	Is it to stop Russian aggression?
	Are they really afraid of this?
	The Germans say they're afraid of Russia.
	But they spend nothing on defense.
	They say they're afraid of Russia.
	But they become dependent on them for their energy.
	I mean, forget about having an EMP attack, right?
	All they need to do is just turn off the valve on the pipeline and you turn out the lights in Germany and Europe.
	They're not afraid of Russia.
	Come on.
	It's a phony situation.
	There's no threat there.
	As a matter of fact, if you have economic ties with Russia, that means that they're less likely to do anything aggressive.
	That's a good thing to have there.
	So you got Angela Merkel pushing back against Trump.
	Saying we are not totally controlled by Russia.
	Yes, you are if they control your energy They do control you and you are not worried about Russia.
	So shut up about all the Russia phobia stuff out there folks And this is all the globalists have done since Hillary Had some whistleblowers inside the DNC tell the truth about her corruption.
	Oh, is it Russians Russians?
	We'll get into this in a moment But it's actually the Germans themselves who would like the US to pull their troops out of Germany There are 42% in a new poll said they supported American withdrawal, while just 37% want the soldiers to stay.
	21% were undecided.
	I remember back in the 1980s, a friend of mine who was in Germany, he was in tanks, command of some tanks, and they were doing war games, and he was telling me, yeah, well, we had this war game situation, and these other guys were over here, and I wanted to cut them off, so I took a shortcut through a farmer's field, tore that thing up with my group of tanks.
	And he said the farmer came out, he was shaking his fist and holding his fingers up, like, you're gonna owe me, you know, it's gonna cost you.
	Because they had to pay him for all that stuff.
	They had to pay him for tearing up the streets when they would do that with their war games and everything.
	They're not, a lot of them are not happy.
	Not just the left-wingers that are there.
	There's a lot of people that aren't happy with that.
	I'm not happy about paying for that.
	I'm not happy that we're paying for their defense against something that they don't believe is a threat.
	If they believed it was a threat, They would buy guns for their soldiers, they would buy submarines for their Navy, they would buy tanks instead of their pretend defense with broomsticks and Mercedes and inoperable submarines and so forth.
	And so that's the reality that's there.
	Now Trump, as he left, was saying, let's forget even about, you know, even though Germany won't spend even 2% of their GDP, On this, that wealthy country that has a $65 billion trade surplus with the United States.
	They won't pay even 2% for their own defense.
	Trump suggests that NATO allies should double their defense spending target to 4%.
	Now, we were talking about the economic issues.
	You heard Wesley Clark say, well, President Trump doesn't understand what NATO is about.
	He could go there and he could get them to help him with trade against China.
	It's like, was that what NATO was about?
	NATO was originally to stop the Russian threat.
	It's a defense organization.
	But if you're going to talk about it being about economic issues, then maybe you could talk to your NATO allies and tell them to stop charging four times the amount of tax on American goods that we charge on their goods because we're paying for their defense.
	But no, we can't do that.
	And folks, this is about the real trade issue is really about the arms trade.
	I'm afraid that's the situation.
	I don't know that we're going to pull any troops out of Germany.
	I don't know that we're going to reduce any of our spending.
	I believe that the slavish devotion to NATO, and even all of the talk about getting them to spend even more, is really simply about getting new customers for the military-industrial complex.
	As I said yesterday, of course, the largest military, by far and away, is the United States.
	I don't know if it's still true, but for the last several years, the United States has spent more money on defense than all the other countries combined.
	Still pretty close to that.
	But if you look at number two, it's China.
	If you look at number three, it's Saudi Arabia.
	Who does Saudi Arabia?
	How do they spend money on defense?
	Do they build jet planes and ships and so forth?
	No, they don't.
	They buy all that stuff from the U.S.
	military-industrial complex.
	If Europe and these other NATO allies, especially these new small countries, up their defense spending, they don't have a military-industrial complex in their countries.
	They're going to be buying all that stuff from America.
	So this is really what this is about.
	It's really about the arms trade that's there.

	It was confirmed by Military.com.
	They said this year 25 of the cups had to be replaced for a total of $32,000.
	Now over the last three years they have spent $56,000 on broken coffee cups.
	But it's worth it folks because these are not just ordinary ceramic coffee cups.
	These coffee cups can reheat coffee or tea.
	On the refueling tankers.
	I think we still do better than that, don't you?
	I mean, this is like this article that we had a couple of weeks ago.
	The $10,000 toilet seat.
	It used to be, the scandal was, the Pentagon was spending $600 on toilet seats.
	And we're like, are you crazy?
	$600 on toilet seats?
	Now it's $10,000.
	For the old B-52s.
	We got the B-52s.
	They've been in service for decades.
	They say, well, we can keep these things going.
	We still have a mission for them.
	We can just keep fixing them and everything.
	But even to fix and replace the toilet seat on the B-52s, it was $10,000.
	And one guy said, well, I could 3D print these things.
	I could probably do it for $1,000.
	But these guys have the copyright on it, or they have some kind of a I don't know.
	They've got it copyrighted or patented or something like that.
	There's something special about these toilet seats.
	Don't ask me what they do.
	Maybe they heat the seat up just like these ceramic coffee cups.
	I don't know what it does.
	It doesn't even have a function.
	It's just that they have an agreement with this company that they bought the B-52s from that they would be the ones to resupply the toilet seats.
	Now, if that is happening with toilet seats, what do you think is happening with all the other spare parts that are there?
	I mean, go back to Iran-Contra.
	We were funding that war just out of selling Iran spare parts for the stuff that we sold them.
	So it's a pretty lucrative market there, isn't it?
	And $56,000 and three years for coffee cups.
	And again, they say, hey, we could do a 3D thing.
	But you can't do 3D, because they own the copyright.
	This is what the military-industrial complex wants to do.
	We can easily get Germany up to 4% of their GDP if we start selling them $1,200 coffee cups.
	This is what this is really about.
	But as President Trump was at the breakfast and saying, which is true, that Germany and EU have made themselves captive to Russia by buying their energy from them.
	There is the viral And, of course, the left is making a big deal out of this.
	John Kelly, as President Trump is saying that, is looking down and going, oh, shaking his head.
	And they say, well, he wasn't upset with what President Trump was saying.
	He was upset about that European breakfast that he's got there.

	He wasn't just upset about President Trump's comments about being captive to Russia.
	But President Trump was right about that.

	I don't know about that.

	We've got Mattis, Defense Secretary Mattis, has been seen as a key ally of NATO, trying to keep this together.
	And in that context, he has been losing influence with President Trump as well.
	Increasingly, reports antiwar.com, Mattis is seen as having fallen out of favor within the administration.
	Despite his high-ranking position, the indications are that Trump doesn't like him and generally doesn't listen to him on contentious issues.
	Like NATO, for example.
	But you have all these generals, these politicians, people like Paul Ryan.
	This is what Paul Ryan had to say about NATO.
	I subscribe to the view that we should not be criticizing our president while he's overseas, but let me say a couple of things.
	NATO is indispensable.
	It's as important today as it ever has been.
	We're reflecting that in a resolution we're bringing to the floor today, and I think the Senate did a resolution as well.
	As respect to Nord Stream 2, I saw the President mention that.
	We've been bringing that up with our allies as well.
	We have concerns about Nord Stream 2.
	And so every time I've met with our allies in Europe, I've raised those same concerns about Nord Stream 2.
	And the President is right to point out that our NATO allies need to adhere to their commitments, which is 2% of GDP for defense.
	Germany is the largest economy in the EU.
	Germany should be committing 2% to defense like they agreed to at the Wales Conference.
	So, NATO is indispensable.
	It is not a relic of the Cold War.
	It is indispensable.
	And yet, as I pointed out, it is not indispensable.
	And we need to be able to distinguish between the goals and the institutions.
	Institutions become indispensable when our thinking becomes calcified.
	Here's one of the reasons why we have the major Overturning in all these different societies every 70 to 80 years.
	All these things that become indispensable at some point in time.
	People wake up and say, this is really dumb.
	Why have we been doing this?
	Why did my grandparents do this?
	Why are we still doing this?
	It doesn't make any sense.
	And then you have a major turning.
	When people realize that the schools don't have anything to do with education.
	That NATO doesn't have anything to do with defense.
	And yet, Paul Ryan And the Congress and the Senate are all on board.
	97 to 2 in the Senate.
	Of course, the one vote that is missing is John McCain.
	Who were the two that did not say that NATO was indispensable?
	This is being done while President Trump is over there.
	This is being done, you know, we heard Paul Ryan say, well, I subscribe to the view that we should not be criticizing our President while he's overseas, but we're going to hold a Vote here saying that we like NATO, that NATO is indispensable, and we're going to undermine what he is saying over there at the same time.
	And so both he and the Senate did that.
	97-2, we had Mike Lee and Rand Paul voted against the measure.
	Rand Paul said in a tweet, why is the U.S.
	Senate pushing to expand NATO when most of them aren't even paying their fair share?
	I stand with real Donald Trump, Rand Paul said in a tweet.
	Mike Lee didn't say anything about it as I asked him his comments on that.
	But Rand Paul said more than just that tweet.
	Rand Paul wrote an editorial that appears in USA Today.
	Now USA Today put an editorial out there saying Donald Trump's tirades weaken NATO and please Vladimir Putin.
	Again, if we can have peace without having war, if we can have peace without impoverishing ourselves by buying $10,000 toilet seats and $1,200 coffee cups from the military-industrial complex?
	Why wouldn't we do that?
	Why would we extend the tension and bring back the Cold War?
	Well, the obvious answer is because it helps the military-industrial complex.
	So, Rand Paul came up with an opposing view.
	What they'll do is they'll say, well, this is our view at USA Today, but we'll give somebody else an opposing view.
	Well, that was Rand Paul.
	He said we should be aware of Russia's perspective.
	Rand Paul says whether or not to expand NATO.
	He's not even questioning the existence of NATO.
	I'm doing that.
	But he says whether or not to expand NATO is a question that deserves debate.
	Does adding countries like Albania and Montenegro increase our security or does it ensnare us in possible regional disputes?
	This is something that Patrick Buchanan has said for a very long time.
	We have created all these treaties with all these different countries.
	You know, NATO originally began in six or seven countries in response to the Russian aggression under Stalin after World War II.
	It was a real threat.
	And what we've done is extended it to country after country after country, saying we will go there and we will provide your defense if you are ever overrun.
	And so we've set up all these tripwires.
	So that we can get into wars with everybody, because we always want to be the first ones in line whenever there's a war.
	And so this is what Rand Paul is saying.
	But adding countries like Albania and Montenegro, as I said before, they don't have a military-industrial complex.
	Where are they going to get their weapons that they buy?
	They're going to be buying them from the American military-industrial complex.
	This is a big jobs program for the military-industrial complex.
	Adding more countries, telling the countries that are there, up your spending, get up to 2%, and oh, by the way, why don't we go for 4%?
	And we've got the guns instead of the broomsticks, if you really want them, Germany.
	We make them, and we make the tanks, and we make the submarines, and so forth.
	Rand Paul goes on to say, to understand what NATO expansion does to our relations with Russia, one must be at least aware of Russia's perspective.
	Such awareness does not mean that we agree with their point of view.
	In other words, He knows that everybody's going to say, you're a Putin puppet.
	He's been called that.
	Everybody's been called that if you disagree with the neocon policies.
	Of course, one of the first people out there will be Lindsey Graham saying things like that because John McCain is sick right now.
	He said, but such awareness does not mean we agree with their point of view, but rather that we are aware our actions lead to reactions, that NATO expansion does not occur in a vacuum.
	We once had robust and thoughtful debate in our country over diplomacy and our desire to avoid war.
	However, both parties now tend to shake their fists and declare to our adversaries, take this sanction, take this expansion of NATO, take this travel restriction.
	Under the misguided notion that our unilateral actions will lead to capitulation.
	Instead, we're often seeing rising tensions, increased nationalism, and ratcheting up of the Cold War-like fever.
	And that's because the military-industrial complex wants profits.
	That's why the Democrats, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, remember they had their Russian reset button?
	They had lost that profit center for the military-industrial complex of long-range nuclear weapons Of big naval projects and so forth, big Navy projects.
	They added the profit centers for fighting the war of terror.
	They militarized the police, but that's not as much money as you can have if you've got a big Russian threat.
	So they had to revive the Russian threat.
	They had to revive the Cold War.
	And now they're expanding it into these smaller countries.
	That's what Rand Paul is pushing against.
	But let's take a look.

	We don't think that this is really a working relationship.
	Plus, we have a trade war going with them.
	The president will succeed, whether it's temporary or whether it's lasting, realigning U.S.

	It's going to happen, and Republicans like Corker better quit kidding themselves that they have some tether on this guy.

	Okay, who are... Who is this world order?
	Who are these globalist elitists?

	What has she done for America other than push an open borders policy?

	So he attacked them and said, oh, they just give opinion.

	This is opinion that is coming from Shepard Smith.
	He attacked our closest allies.
	He berated and insulted them.

	And of course, Huffington Post loved that because he was so critical of President Trump.
	But you hear the old Cold War propaganda, all this stuff.
	Yeah, it has expanded.
	And that's one of the problems.
	As Pat Buchanan and Rand Paul pointing out, we've set up tripwires everywhere.
	This doesn't serve the interests of anybody except the military-industrial complex.
	All this stuff like, I've got your back, you've got mine.
	How did that work out for us?

	You heard Shepard Smith say, the whole idea, I've got your back, you've got my back.

	What has NATO done?
	Well, they intervened twice in the Yugoslavian Civil War after the Soviet Union fell.
	They were deterrent to Stalin's aggression, but they had two interventions in Yugoslavia.
	After September 11th, they invoked the Article 5 of NATO's Mutual Defense Clause after September 11th.
	And so we got these NATO countries involved in Afghanistan and Iraq, also in Libya.
	Oh, we've done a great job, haven't we?
	Afghanistan, Libya and Iraq.
	And then they're trying to say we need to get involved in Syria as well.
	We had Senator Graham has visited Syria just last week.
	He attacked Trump's plan to pull troops out of there.
	Because we can't pull troops out of Europe.
	We can't pull troops out of Afghanistan.
	Not even out of Syria.
	And what is the justification for us being there?
	You have rebels who are trying to overthrow Assad.
	And we are funding ISIS and these other rebels.
	That is an established fact.
	I'll tell you about that in just one moment if you need some more data points.
	We've got more data points about that.
	We used to have John McCain going over there and posing with Al Qaeda and ISIS terrorists.
	Now we got Lindsey Graham because John McCain is sick.
	So he made a surprise visit last week.
	He gave a speech to attack President Trump.
	They said even though there's no official plan to pull out, Graham was saying that we have to stay there to help.
	It'd be terrible if the U.S.
	didn't have troops in Syria in the future.
	How would the United States survive if we didn't have troops in Syria?
	See, these things are not existential threats to us.
	As a matter of fact, they make the world more dangerous.
	When you look at what NATO did in Libya, that is why they have the massive, uncontrolled immigration into the EU right now.
	And it isn't just stupid policy, it was deliberate policy.
	Make no doubt about it.
	Zero Hedge had an article two days ago.
	Secret 2006 US government document reveals a plan to destabilize Syria using extremists, Muslim Brotherhood and elections.
	We were not invited into Syria to make the area more stable.
	At the beginning we played the clip from Wesley Clark saying President Trump doesn't really understand NATO.
	NATO could help him with trade and China and so forth even though we have a massive Trade deficit with Germany, with European Union and so forth.
	But Wesley Clark had told us that there was a plan to take out all these different countries.
	You know, it's gone right down the list.
	Almost the same time frame that he had laid out.
	Seriously, Wesley Clark?
	They got to you, I guess, huh?
	Anyway, the Activist Post reports that the goal to impose hegemony across the world by the Anglo financier system, and that had a lot to do with what happened in Libya, folks.
	Omar Qaddafi was no longer a threat.
	Yes, he had been a terrorist.
	We put him in the box.
	He gave up his nuclear weapons, which is what they're trying to intimidate Kim with.
	Actually, the military industrial complex neocons, who don't want anything to happen there, are telling him, we're going to give you the Libya treatment.

	The truth is, previous administrations were also heavily involved in planning for serious destruction.

	Gonna get his reaction to the Hammonds.
	Of course, it was something that he and others from the Bundy standoff Went there to try to get justice for the Hammonds.
	They have now been pardoned by President Trump.
	Of course, they had to pay $400,000 in fines.
	I think they ought to get their money back, too.
	This is a political persecution.
	You understood that from the very beginning, but Ammon, Bundy, and others suffered a political persecution.
	It is a tactic by the Department of Justice, by the FBI and others, to keep people locked up, to try to put pressure on them, To accept a plea bargain so they don't go to court.
	But the Bundys did not succumb to that pressure, even though Ammon was physically attacked.
	We're going to have him join us, tell us about the standoff there, what can be done to help the people who are still in jail, and get his take on what happened with the Hammonds as well.
	We have a Democrat who's been caught on video saying, this is what I cannot say in public.
	It's reported by WND, a Democrat.
	A congressional candidate was caught on video confiding to her supporters that she wants to ban assault rifles, but she can't express her stance in public for fear of losing the election.
	She said, and I said, they, meaning guns, should be banned.
	This is Tedra Cobb, the Democrat candidate in New York's 21st congressional district.
	She said, and I said, you know, people were getting up to go to get their lunch because it was a buffet, and I just said to her, I want you to know, Cindy, I can't say that.
	And she said, well, I want you to.
	And I said, but I won't win, said Cobb.
	And I said, Moms Demand Action says, do not say that you want an assault rifle ban because you will not win.
	This is what they will not say.
	They will not say that they want open borders, even though they want open borders.
	They will not say that they want gun bans.
	But we know that's what their policy is.
	And we know that they will endanger children.
	They will endanger the children in the schools so they can get their gun ban.
	They will endanger children at the border so they can get their open borders.
	And so this is what we have reported here in Austin as well.
	A few years ago we went to a rally for gun control.
	It was the Mayor Pro Tem that was there.
	And there was a counter protester saying we're not going to allow you to ban Guns.
	And he pointed to him.
	He was the only protester.
	He was surrounded by hostile people who were trying to cover up his sign.
	And he said to him, you hang on to that sign.
	We're not coming for him right now, but you're going to need that sign really soon.
	Yeah, they occasionally will let their guard down just as she did and say, this is really what we're coming after.
	They don't support freedom.
	As I pointed out before, they support free stuff.
	Take a look at what's going on with the TSA screeners.
	We just had a case coming out of the Third U.S.
	Circuit Court of Appeals, and we don't have any Democrats out there.
	Talking about your right to privacy?
	No, no, no, no, no.
	That's just if you want to kill your kid.
	They'll leave you alone with that.
	They'll actually help you with that.
	But you want to be able to travel privately?
	No, no, no.
	Can't have that.
	In a two-to-one vote, the U.S.
	Third Court of Appeals in Philadelphia said that TSA screeners were not, quote, investigative or law enforcement officers.
	And therefore, they were shielded from liability.
	Now think about this.
	This is a particular case where a woman, Nadine Pellegrino, she's a business consultant from Boca Raton, Florida, she and her husband had sued for, now these people are not investigative law enforcement officers, but she was arrested, she was imprisoned, and she was prosecuted by these people who are not investigative or law enforcement officers.
	So she sued them for false arrest, false imprisonment, and malicious prosecution over a July 2006 altercation at the Philadelphia airport.
	So I guess maybe the charge that she should have come after them in court with was kidnapping.
	Right?
	If they're not law enforcement, are they kidnappers?
	Because they imprisoned her.
	Because she complained about this stuff.
	According to court papers, she had been randomly selected For additional screening at the Philadelphia airport before boarding a flight.
	She was then 57.
	She objected to the invasiveness of the screening.
	But as the conditions deteriorated, she was eventually jailed for 18 hours and then later criminally charged.
	But these people are not law enforcement officers and they're not investigators.
	So what are they doing violating our Fourth Amendment rights to privacy?
	To searching us.
	Without a search warrant.
	Without having probable cause.
	She was selected at random!
	There's no probable cause in that.
	See, the principles on which this country was founded were that you would have to go before a judge and you would have to say, I have a reason to believe that this person and their personal effects need to be searched.
	And you would be specific as to the reason and the place and the person and so forth, but they just selected her for random.
	So we don't have Any rights anymore, do we?
	As a matter of fact, let's play that Supreme Court clip.
	We had the individual that was talking about Katie Tour.

	Meanwhile, we have, you got it?

	I do want to start with you, though, J.D.
	Based on where Americans stand on the issues, and Americans have really moved in a much more progressive direction over the years, do you think it's appropriate to continue to take such a strict, originalist view of the Constitution, given it's 2018 and not 1776?
	Well, I don't know that Americans have become more progressive on everything.
	Certainly, times have changed since 1776, but how you interpret the Constitution is all very different.
	All right, let's hold it right there.
	She says, you know, isn't this really kind of outdated, this whole Constitution thing and everything?
	See, the principles aren't any different.
	They didn't have airplanes in 1776.
	They didn't have x-ray machines.
	They didn't have all these other things to snoop into our lives, but human nature doesn't change.
	The nature of tyranny doesn't change.
	And the whole idea that the government shouldn't be able to treat us as slaves and put their hands on us for no reason at all, anytime they wish, that hasn't changed.
	There have always been people who have done that.
	As a matter of fact, it had been done to the founders.
	They had been subject to these same types of invasive searches by British troops.
	It's one of the reasons we have the Fourth Amendment and other things like that.
	Because human nature doesn't change.
	Just because you've got a different type of gun, it doesn't change the nature of self-defense, doesn't change the nature of tyranny that comes from standing armies, and doesn't change the nature of tyranny that comes from these blue-gloved TSA agents.
	And it's everything that they know.
	I mean, look at this.
	Check in with a smile.
	Marriott and Alibaba are using trial facial recognition.
	As we're talking about the TSA, don't forget there's Michael Chertoff.
	Who helped usher in these screening machines, as I pointed out yesterday.
	I want you to hear what he had to say about how you have turned over your freedom to these people with little brother in your pocket.
	We are actually surveilling ourselves.
	We're doing a lot of the collection that we used to imagine would be the government, as individuals.
	We go around, we take selfies, we photograph each other, we upload things to the internet.
	Other things are being collected on us, for example, video cameras, locational data on our cell phone, and all of this winds up in what they call the cloud, which is the servers which maintain all of this data.
	And so the person who operates the server can look all across these various uploads and construct a very accurate picture of everything we do every day.
	And that is why we have actually become little brother in the place of big brother.
	See, what he's just explaining there is how James Clapper lied to you.
	How Michael Hayden lied to you when they said, that's just the metadata.
	It doesn't mean anything.
	We're not actually listening to your phone calls.
	No, the metadata, the geospatial intelligence that he was just describing to you, that is far more important than the actual text or what you're having to say in terms of predicting you and following you.

	I'm David Knight, and we have on the line with us Eamon Bundy.
	We just had him on last week, and I wanted to get him on again in light of the Hammond pardon, because we talked about that as being something that was rumored about a month ago, and it was a possibility.
	But there are other people who are still in jail, and as we saw with the Hammonds, it was very important for a lot of people to come together And approach President Trump and the administration to bring that case before them.
	He's got a lot of stuff on his plate.
	There are a lot of things that are happening all the time, and it's very important for them to hear from a lot of different sources about what is really happening.
	So I want to bring this up again.
	I wanted to get Emmons take on the pardons, and I want to talk about Todd Ingle and Greg Burleson, who are still in jail, even though the prosecutors Willfully misled the court.
	It resulted in a mistrial and a dismissal for Ammon and for his father Clive and his brother Ryan and others in the second trial.
	But there were people who had already been convicted and who were still in jail even though the issue is the same.
	It's the same information.
	It was the same stuff that was being withheld from the juries that came out from a whistleblower with the BLM.
	So joining us now is Ammon Bundy and you can find them on Facebook, At Bundy Ranch.

	Thank you for having me, David.
	Tell us a little bit about your feelings about the pardon of the Hammonds that just came out in the last two days.
	Well, David, as you know and many others know, about two and a half years ago, I became aware of the Hammonds, a little over two and a half years.
	I could see what was happening to them was the same thing that had happened to my family and many others here in the West because of this federal land control of our land and resources.
	And I could see that, you know, the Hammonds were being unjustly dealt with, that it was just exactly what, you know, the same tactics that they had been imposing upon all the ranchers and miners and loggers and so forth.
	The land users here in the West.
	And so I began to speak out as much as I could.
	I got international attention and.
	But.
	No one with power would listen to me.
	Yeah, and they just wouldn't say, I mean, I tried to get the county sheriff to look at the facts and the evidence and he rejected me and I tried to get the county representatives and the state representatives and even U.S.
	Congress.
	Look at these issues and they wouldn't, they wouldn't do it.
	They were afraid and also they were intimidated by the FBI.
	And so I guess this now comes full circle and I'm grateful that president Trump looked at it.
	He looked at the evidence that we were trying to present.
	We were back over two and a half years ago.
	So he saw that it was unjust, that it was not right, that it was prosecutorial misconduct, and he pardoned him.
	And...
	Yes, and we're looking at pictures right now as you're speaking.
	They were flown back, I believe, by the guy who owns Lucas Oil.
	He flew them back home, I think it was yesterday.
	And it took a very long time.
	You were in prison a great deal of time.
	As we spoke last week, you were talking about how you were beaten in prison.
	You talked about what they did to you physically in prison, trying to intimidate you guys, I'm sure, into taking some kind of a plea bargain, right?
	Yeah, that's correct.
	That's what it's designed.
	The system has become, the judicial system has become a system which basically Crashes a person into committing, uh, admitting to something that he did not do so that the prosecutors can get a win.
	Yeah.
	And the Hammonds went through that same thing.
	You know, they, uh, Stephen Hammond just a week or so ago, or a couple of weeks ago, marked his fourth year in prison.
	And I spent two years, my father spent two years, uh, several of my brothers and many of my friends spent, you know, two years and they're still, Todd Engel and Greg Brilson that are in there still and now they're marking, you know, over two and a half years in there.
	And why?
	Because they said and stood up and publicly, you know, stood for people like the Hammond.
	And that's the thing that we see increasingly is that they ignore so many things in the Constitution, even the most obvious things.
	About the fact that you have a speedy trial.
	They keep people in for several years.
	I've seen this over and over again.
	And even, I talked to a New Jersey weed man about his particular situation.
	They came after him.
	He was a marijuana activist.
	They kept him in jail without bail, saying that it was part of the New Jersey bail reform.
	But they didn't give you guys bail.
	They can hold anybody in there if it is an important case to the government.
	They want to make sure the people don't get out.
	They want to make sure they can't communicate to people and they want to intimidate them into accepting a plea bargain and most people do.
	I mean it's almost a hundred percent of the cases now people will accept a plea bargain rather than go to trial.
	They don't understand the power of a jury trial and you guys were hanging tough but you had to stay in there for a couple years and now we've got a couple guys Who are still in jail, as you mentioned, Todd Engel and Greg Berlson.
	Tell us about that particular case.
	Again, let's talk about the fact that the judge there, Gloria Navarro, who dismissed your trial, which means that there's not going to be a retrial.
	First, she declared a mistrial because of the whistleblower evidence.
	Then they declared a dismissal.
	And yet, the people that we're talking about, Todd Engel and Greg Berlson, are still in jail even though they hid evidence from the jury that would have shown them to be innocent.
	Yeah, so 98% of people charged by the federal government take plea deals.
	And then out of the 2% that go to trial, only 3% of those people win in trial.
	And we think, well, that's because they're all criminals, but that is not true because the pressure that they put on the 98, well, all of us, that caused the 98% to take pleas is, I can't even explain it to you.
	I mean, I was not able to have hold and touch my wife or children for two years.
	I wasn't even able to see them except through a visiting video camera with horrible sound and horrible video.
	That's the closest I was able to get to my family.
	Phone calls, we spend over $100 a week in phone calls, and to get any type of nutrition that you really need, you have to buy it through a common third, which is about three or four times the cost of a normal product, you know?
	And people, so you get to the point, and families get to the point where they just can't make it anymore.
	They just can't You know, they just can't, they just break.
	And then the prosecutors the whole time are saying, hey, if you don't take a deal, we're going to go for 20 years.
	Or we're going to go for, in our case, 106 years.
	Or we're going to go for five years.
	But if you take a deal, then we'll give you two.
	Or we'll give you ten.
	And so, they finally just say, hey, I can't take it any longer.
	And see, this is what the issue is.
	Regardless, and you guys did this over principle.
	You did not do this over money.
	And people should be concerned about this because of the system that you just described.
	It comes against everybody, especially people who take a political position.

	Most people succumb to the pressure.
	It's really not a justice system anymore.
	They torture people to get the result that they want.
	Then they rig the jury trial, if you're one of the two percent that goes for the jury trial.
	And then even after they say it's a rigged process and they declare that the government hid information, That the government lied to jurors in previous trials.
	The same information was used in the conviction of Todd Ingle and Greg Burleson.
	They're still in jail, even though the judge said that they should be dismissed.
	And so there is more work to be done, even though the Hammonds have been released.
	And we're very grateful that that has happened.
	Grateful to President Trump, as well as everybody that has worked to get this information out.
	And of course, the Bundys worked very hard, along with LaVoy Finnegan.
	He was ultimately killed in terms of trying to get that information out to the people in that area.

	Ammon, what has your life been like since you've been out of jail?
	You talked about the fact you couldn't see your family, your children for two years except through an awful monitor.
	You were suffering from malnutrition and especially your dad, who's in his 70s, was being starved as well.
	You have to buy your own food at an expensive price there in prison.
	Tell us a little bit about things that have happened since you guys have been out.
	What are you doing now other than Advocating for Todd Ingle and Greg Berlson and others.
	Tell us a little bit about your normal life.
	Have things returned to normal for you?
	You know, David, I don't think they'll ever be normal.
	But they have been enjoyable to be with my family, to be with my little children.
	I have six children ages 15 to 3 years old.
	And so two years of my three-year-old's life, I was in prison.
	And I was able to come home to him on his third birthday.
	And we also, my family, my dad, my brothers, we're the breadwinners.
	And so we've had to, you know, immediately go back to work.
	It was two years our family went without income.
	So we're back to work and, you know, trying to put the pieces back together.
	But we feel very blessed and, I mean, none of us, you know, none of us lost our homes and, you know, we're still happily married and our children are healthy.
	That's great.
	I'm glad to hear that.
	Let me ask you about the Hammonds.
	It's a great blessing.
	It's been a wonderful blessing.
	That's great, that's great.
	Let me ask you about the Hammonds, because I know that they had a $400,000 fine against them.
	That was an effort by the government to try to take away their home.
	What is their situation as far as that aspect goes?
	Are you aware of what's going on with that?
	I actually don't, although I'm very curious if the pardon requires the government to pay the damages back to the Hammonds, because I know the Hammonds spent Uh, close to a million dollars in direct legal fees.
	That's not including the indirect.
	Uh, they also lost three quarters of their ranch, um, and was restricted to parts of their private property ranch.
	Graves that, uh, that the federal government said that they could not use because it was adjacent to other properties.
	Um, and then, Just the overall damages to, you know, being in prison for, you know, as long as they were.
	I sure hope that they are, their damages are restored to them quickly.
	They've suffered enough.
	Yes, yes.
	It has been a horrible ordeal for them and for your family as well.

	Do we have Ammon back on the line here?
	Yeah.
	Okay. Go ahead, Ammon.
	You know, Stephen, to answer that question, it actually hits at the crux of the whole problem here.
	And that is that these lands need to be controlled by the local people and not by, you know, some bureaucrat 3,000 miles away who do not know who we are, who do not understand what we do with those lands.
	And so they need to be controlled and under the jurisdiction of the local people.
	And also, along with that, because we have established rights, the people have established rights to use, to access, to enjoy, to hunt, fish, camp, hike, to ride ATVs.
	They've established those rights.
	But there's also other rights, such as grazing rights, logging rights, and these are property rights.
	And all these rights need to be protected.
	And they all need to be protected by the local jurisdiction.
	And what's happening is Washington, D.C., agencies such as the Bureau of Land Management are saying that these lands belong to them.
	And therefore, they can do whatever they want.
	They can close whatever road they want.
	They can take whatever they want.
	They say because the real estate belongs to them, they also own all the land and the resources, the grazing rights.
	And it actually legally, historically, factually, And morally, and constitutionally, is not correct.
	So, what we have to do is we have to establish control and jurisdiction over our local lands and control them by the local people.
	That's absolutely right.
	You know, they have, as you point out, they maintain the fact, well, we own this land even though the Constitution says we're only supposed to own the District of Columbia and certain forts and ports and so forth.
	Then they legislate without us ever electing them.
	They come up with their own rules and they're constantly adding more rules, as Stephen was And then they've got their own army, don't they, Ammon, to patrol this.
	I mean, this is like an entire new government, and we've got all these different competing governments.
	Every one of these bureaucracies is like his own little self-contained empire, and they're all building their empire, continually taking our rights and infringing on our rights, saying they own our property, that they own us, that they've got their own army to enforce us.
	This is the crux of the issue, and this is happening It's very important what's happening with the BLM, but I want everybody, whether you live in a rural area, rancher, logger, miner, farmer, whatever, you don't have to be to see that this is the same type of thing that is happening even if you live in the city.
	This is the same type of thing that's happening with every bureaucracy in Washington, D.C.
	Yeah, kind of to add to that, David, because you're exactly right, people need to understand that the courts And the elected representatives always follow the people, historically.
	And so, but what we've been duped into believing is that we have to run to the courts and we have to try to get our elected representatives somehow to defend our rights first, and it's not our, you know, it's not our right or duty to defend them first.
	And let me just give you an example of what I'm talking about.
	What I'm saying is that people have to... Well, hang on.

	Ammon, you wanted to, you were giving an example, and we're going to go to some of these questioners here who are holding online.
	Go ahead.
	Yeah, so I'm going to point to the civil rights issues when it comes to the black community.
	Because in the 13th Amendment, making slavery illegal or unlawful was ratified in December 6, 1865.
	But if you remember, the civil rights riots and issues really came about a hundred years later.
	Yeah.
	And so, if they were truly given freedom in 1865, then why are they still having to fight, stand up for their freedom in 1960s?
	And why did they ultimately get the courts to start ruling their way?
	It's because people like Rosa Parks That's right.
	If you don't do that, it's nothing but a piece of paper.
	you know i'm not going in the white man's bathroom i'm not drinking in a white or i'm gonna drink in the white man drinking fountain they started demanding equal rights even though a hundred years later it was given to them if you don't do that it's nothing but a piece of paper and they will not enforce it then the court follow and then the then the elected representatives follow and that's the same with these land issues do not let them close your roads
	Do not let them put signs on your land.
	They do not own it.
	They have control of it, but they do not own it, and it is unlawful what they're doing.
	That's right.
	Absolutely right.
	And a couple of other examples.
	I mean, we've been talking about medical marijuana.
	Look at the fact that we have this war on drugs that was created by the United Nations, even though it was put in 10 years later by Richard Nixon.
	We've had 60% of the states say we're going to allow medical use of marijuana.
	They haven't done anything about that.
	We've had pastors say that you're not going to take away our tax deduction if we talk about politics.
	They haven't done anything about that.
	We've had people come in and say we're going to protect our children with armed teachers that have been trained and vetted and they haven't done anything about that.
	That's a clear violation of a law that was enacted that was in violation of our Second Amendment.
	So if we stand up For our liberty, they will stand down.
	That's a very good point, Ammon.
	Let's take a call, a question from Haboo in Wisconsin.
	Go ahead, Haboo.
	Yeah, thank you, Mr. Knight, for this opportunity.
	And hello to Mr. Bundy.
	Yeah, you know, just two very quick points.
	The shining light or the optimistic part of this is that juries in the Mountain West, in your part, the region of the world of this country, are not afraid to nullify, you know.
	Unlike many juries in the rest of the country, they stand up and they make their votes count, so to speak.
	And the second thing is, after the last trial was dismissed with prejudice, I just heard in the news that it has been resuscitated again.
	Could you please shed the light of the state of affairs with the federal government giving you more grief?
	All right, very good question.
	And I think they came back for a second hit, and I think Judge Navarro shut them down a second time, but they just keep coming, right?
	Yeah, they filed for a motion for the judge to reconsider her Decision on dismissing the case she denied that and of course they might appeal that but You know either way this is just really bad for them because they if they blatantly lied they withheld the sculptor evidence they you know withheld evidence to the jury and from From you know the defendant
	And so if they want to go at it again, let's go at it again because we literally have a book full of discovery of their misconduct, their lies.
	But I don't think that the government, the court, are going to allow that to happen because it's just too much exposure for them.
	Yeah, they were caught with the whistleblower releasing these documents.
	They were caught lying about their actions.
	They did have snipers there.
	They finally had to admit that.
	They wouldn't let people know about the special agent in charge who had been convicted of crimes himself.
	They wouldn't let anybody talk about any of the actions of the BLM, and they lied about what the BLM was doing.
	So, yeah.
	Don't throw me in that briar patch, I guess it was.
	I know you don't want to have that fight again, but it's gonna really, really be bad for them if they were to bring that up again.
	Let's go to Matthew in Florida.
	Go ahead, Matthew.
	Matthew there?
	Yes, I'm there.
	Okay, go ahead.
	Ask your question to Ammon Bundy.
	Hey Ammon, you kind of answered a little bit of my question, but I was just curious.
	What type of dirty prosecutorial tactics did they use against you?
	Did they not have transcripts of certain hearings and court proceedings?
	What other tactics did they use against you?
	Okay, Eamon, go ahead.
	Well, I would love to go into specifics and maybe we could do that sometime, but I just don't have enough time.
	I'll just be general here, maybe hit one or two.
	When we talk about our judicial system, if you want to call it that now, the 3% that actually go to trial, what happens is the prosecutors, in conjunction literally with the judges, do not allow the jury to hear the truth.
	And they do that...
	What went on in our case is very common.
	It's just they don't get caught very often.
	And we just kept pushing until we exposed it.
	And this case had a lot of publicity, so we had the power to do that.
	But they withhold evidence from almost every trial in order to win.
	They did it with a hammer.
	They withheld evidence that the BLM actually started those fires.
	We have witnesses that testified that they saw the BLM with drip torches around the Hammonds' home on the 2006 fire.
	And we have radio transcripts of them.
	They would not let that in the Hammonds' trial.
	Wow.
	And so, those are the types of things that have been going on, and are not just isolated to our case.
	Yeah, yeah.
	Withholding evidence that would prove them innocent.
	You know, just yesterday I was talking to Eugene Warwick.
	This is a guy who worked in Chicago.
	And this is why I say, if we have a corrupt justice system, it doesn't matter whether you are a truck driver in Chicago or whether you are a farmer or a rancher in Nevada.
	It's still that corrupt judicial system.
	And what they had in his case, Ammon, was he had one
	Against the city of Chicago in terms of patronage they would not give him the reward and then they altered the transcripts and when he stumbled on a situation where he found the original transcripts with the sticky notes saying how they were going to change it and then the altered transcripts that they got back from that he said well I understand there are tapes or something somebody told him there were audio tapes and the judge says no I'm not going to give you those audio tapes which is a clear violation there but he actually got the judge to admit
	That there were audiotapes, and even to say that he wasn't going to give them the audiotapes.
	That's the amazing corruption.
	You're talking about going to a jury trial, they withhold evidence, witnesses, and transcripts showing that they set the fires there at the Hammonds, and they won't allow that information into the trial to the jury.
	And I think that's another reason why jury nullification is very, very important.
	That's the other place where they lie to everybody.
	They don't tell the jury that they're there to judge not only the facts of the case.
	They tell them exactly the opposite.
	No, you can't judge the law.
	You're only there to judge the facts of the case.
	You can't say anything.
	If you don't disagree with the law, the way it's being applied, you don't have anything to say about that.
