	We're going to be taking a look at the back and forth.
	Absolutely amazing that the Democrats and mainstream media for the most part.
	I mean, we had CNN, New York Times, ABC, C-SPAN, all these different organizations, many more, came out and said that Trump had called immigrants animals at a meeting where they were talking about sanctuary cities.
	Now, he was responding to a specific question.
	From a sheriff who said we're concerned about the sanctuary cities policies that are being put in here by the California state government because there's a lot of jurisdictions where they have said we're not going to be sanctuary cities.
	We're going to do just the opposite.
	They rebelled against the California state rules as Governor Brown has tried to turn the entire state into a sanctuary state.
	And the sheriff was specifically talking to President Trump about MS-13.
	And that's the context in which he called people animals.
	He's talking about MS-13.
	And the mainstream media cut that out to take it out of context.
	And they're still sticking with that.
	I mean, take a look at the headlines right now.
	New York Times, they talk about it.
	They still have it out of context.
	And then you have people like Nancy Pelosi.
	And people, entertainers, like John Legend, who come in and say, yeah, we know they're MS-13, but they're not animals.
	They're God's children.
	They're like little babies.
	John Legend says, oh, look at these little babies.
	I just wonder if they're going to grow up into MS-13.
	It's all about environment, he says.
	And we have to look at our complicity in turning them into MS-13.
	You know how they became MS-13?
	How they became such a dangerous organization?
	It was a combination of open borders, sanctuary city policies that gave them sanctuary.
	This is a criminal gang that came here, illegal immigrants.
	They were given sanctuary in California, in L.A.
	Now they are a national gang.
	They have a massive presence in New York and Long Island, where my wife grew up.
	Same county.
	There's over 400 MS-13 members there.
	Guess who their victims are?
	Predominantly Hispanics.
	Other illegal aliens, who are peaceful, who came here to try to escape MS-13, but because we don't have any control of our borders, we don't screen who comes in, they become the victims of these animals.
	And the other part of this that nobody wants to talk about is the war on drugs.
	That's their business model!
	You know, we had earlier this week, the Supreme Court came out And said that they were going to legalize online sports gambling, or they're going to legalize sports gambling.
	Somebody quickly came out and said, that's going to destroy the mafia.
	That's their core business.
	Yeah, you know, it isn't like people weren't gambling on sports.
	Most of the comments that I've seen in the mainstream media are whether or not it's a good thing to gamble on sports.
	I don't think gambling on anything is a good idea.
	I don't think using drugs is a good idea.
	But the war on drugs and prohibition of sports gambling haven't made a difference except to give a monopoly to the mafia or to MS-13.
	And now, of course, they see as marijuana has been taken away from the profit center of MS-13, some of these other drug cartels, they're moving to human trafficking.
	And we're talking about enslaving young children for prostitution and things like that.
	So it just continues as we look at this.
	We have created some very, very powerful gangs.
	They're going to be very difficult to shut down.
	They're not going to go away.
	MS-13 is not going to go away if you legalize gambling.
	That's not their game.
	And they're already moving into other issues.
	But it's going to be interesting to take a look at what these people say.
	We're also going to take a look at what's going on in Venezuela.
	We have an election tomorrow.
	And how did they get to where they are?
	And what does it tell us about our own elections?
	And what does it tell us as the Democrats embrace MS-13, that brutal gang of torturers and murderers, and the Republicans embrace Gina Haspel?
	Actually, it's bipartisan.
	The CIA and that brutal gang of torturers, murderers, and regime changers.

	We're gonna take a look.
	At the controversy about MS-13 and how the Democrats have embraced this tar baby.
	They just keep going further and further into it.
	But before we do, there's something kind of interesting that's come out in the trade war between the US and China.
	And as we look at all the different issues with North Korea, with Iran and so forth, I think China is our greatest threat.
	Economically and militarily, they are by far our greatest threat.
	Far more threatening than either Iran or North Korea.
	And so there's been trade talks between the US and China.
	President Trump has said we're going to equalize the tariffs.
	So you can cut these tariffs, but we're going to equalize it.
	If you put a 25% tariff on our steel, or our cars, and we only have a 2.5% tariff on your steel or cars coming into our country, then we're going to raise it up to 25%, at which point the Wall Street First crowd, the globalists, say, you can't do that, that's a trade war.
	And as we pointed out many times, the trade war has been going on for decades.
	This is just trying to stop it, trying to equalize it, trying to make it fair.
	And so there's been trade talks going on between the US and China in response to that after President Trump kicked that off by saying we're going to equalize our tariffs and Wall Street started screaming about trade tariffs.
	Interesting, isn't it?
	That they never scream about sanctions.
	Which are the first step to war.
	Wall Street loves war.
	Wall Street makes a lot of money off of war.
	And sanctions, where you say, we're going to make it criminal to trade with a particular country.
	We're going to shut down all goods and services of a particular type, or maybe all of them, to a particular country.
	They love that, because that's moving us towards war, and that makes money for Wall Street.
	So the globalists don't like that.
	They scream really loud about the trade war.
	But what it did was it opened up trade talks with China.
	Now when they sent a delegation there, they sent Steve Mnuchin and they sent White House Trade Advisor Peter Navarro.
	Now remember, at the beginning of this, there was the angry response from Gary Cohen, also from Goldman Sachs, just like Steve Mnuchin.
	And Gary Cohen was furious about the idea that we would equalize trade tariffs between the US and China.
	So much so that he resigned.
	President Trump jokingly called him, he said, he's a globalist but I still love him.
	Remember that?
	And then the press says, you called him a globalist and he's Jewish.
	That means that's a globalist is an anti-semitic term.
	We know that.
	They just keep spinning it that way.
	But it was, at that point, Goldman Sachs 0 and America First 1, with Navarro prevailing in that back-and-forth exchange.
	We're happy to see that.
	But then you have Steve Mnuchin and Peter Navarro.
	They went to China as part of the Trump administration's Negotiations.
	And as the AP is pointing out, shortly afterward, Bloomberg reported that Navarro would be excluded from meetings with the trade delegation from China.
	So this sent shockwaves throughout the ranks of many of the President's supporters outside of the White House.
	People like me.
	It makes me fearful that the Goldman Sachs wing is winning this war.
	The people who are Wall Street first, not America first.
	The globalists.
	The exclusion of Navarro, an academic who has written extensively on China and is considered to be one of the toughest China hawks in the administration, seemed to send a signal that the U.S.
	was softening its stance on trade with China.
	The Chinese only respect strength.
	When they look across the table and Navarro is sitting there, that's what they see, strength.
	Because they fear Peter, when they look across the table and they see Steve Mnuchin and no Navarro, all they see is weakness, said a former administration official to Breitbart News.
	And so, in the wake of that, the news that we got today.
	First, the U.S.
	official said yesterday that China was offering President Trump a package of trade concessions and additional purchases of U.S.
	goods that would cut the U.S.
	trade deficit with China by as much as $200 billion.
	Today, the Chinese government came out and said, no we didn't.
	We're not saying that.
	We didn't say that at all.
	It's gone back and forth.
	Kind of sounded like the negotiation between the Trump administration and North Korea's Kim Jong-un.
	I take it back.
	I didn't say that.
	I didn't say I was going to get rid of my nukes.
	When did I say that?
	Did I really say that?
	That's what Kim Jong-un is saying.
	And there's this report from Reuters, which I find interesting.
	The headline is, cutting $200 billion from the US-China trade deficit is a tall order.
	I don't think we could really do that, they say.
	That's not really possible.
	$200 billion in the trade deficit is a small portion of the trade deficit that we have with China.
	I believe it's over 800 billion.
	So it's only a quarter of the trade deficit.
	That's how much more every year.
	They're getting close to a trillion dollars, in terms of a trillion dollars of our wealth that is being transferred to China every year.
	And so to put this into perspective, and to get everybody's expectations down, and to get you to understand just how impossible it is for China to change this by 200 billion dollars.
	Oh, they just couldn't do that.
	They said that number would be difficult to hit, even over several years, let alone one year.
	said experts.
	It is larger than all the US agricultural and oil exports combined.
	But it's only a quarter of, less than a quarter, of what we are losing to China every year.
	And they said it would mean selling China nearly 9 out of every 10 aircraft Boeing made in 2017.
	And yet, 90% of the airplanes that Boeing made last year would be equivalent to less than a quarter of the amount of wealth that we're losing to China every year.
	See, when they talk about how impossible it is, they said, this is inconceivable.
	It's like Princess Bride.
	I do not think you know what that word means.
	This is inconceivable.
	It's difficult to achieve.
	The key issue is we don't want to sell what we want to buy and we can't buy too many farm products either, said the Chinese.
	So, that underscores, I think, the difficult position that we're in.
	And just how dire this situation is.
	That even reducing that annual deficit by a quarter is just inconceivable.
	Impossible.
	Can't be done.
	Can't be done.
	It won't do it.
	That's how we're getting poorer and poorer as every year goes by.
	Alright, let's take a quick look at what President Trump said that got the press so fired up.
	And putting out all of this fake news, false news, actually, lies about the president.
	Let's play clip number two.
	Yeah, clip two.
	All right, we'll come back to that.
	Except that we're even talking about it.
	It's so ridiculous.
	We'll take care of it, Margaret.

	There's going to be an MS-13 gang member I know about.

	We're stopping a lot of them.
	But we're taking people out of the country.

	So we're going to take care of it.
	We'll get it done together.
	It's so ridiculous.
	The concept that we're even talking.
	All right, and so Zero Hedge says, did CNN, New York Times, ABC, C-SPAN, all these other organizations, did they lie by omission?
	Yes, they did.
	Here's an example.
	You just heard the question.
	The sheriff was asking him specifically about MS-13, and he replied, and he said, these people are animals.
	How did they report it?
	AP, for example.
	AP, the Associated Press, which so many news organizations rely on as their source, their good source for the feed.
	They said, AP has deleted a tweet from late Wednesday on Trump's animals comment about immigrants because it wasn't made clear that he was speaking after a comment about gang members.
	They set the record straight.
	But it hasn't been set straight by these other news organizations.

	And of course, that's what we're seeing even in the Northeast.
	This gang that began in the sanctuaries of California has now gone national.
	And it's not enough that they're illegal aliens.
	It's not enough that they have tattoos all over their bodies declaring that they are MS-13 gang members.
	They have to be caught red-handed committing a crime before anything is done to them, and not even then, in some cases.
	And this is the way the media reported this, the way they lied about this.
	Again, that was Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims that you heard there.
	She was talking about MS-13.
	And so you have dozens of media outlets.
	Here's some examples of what they tweeted out.
	CNN, quote, we're taking people out of the country.
	You wouldn't believe how bad these people are.
	These aren't people.
	These are animals, unquote.
	And they said, during a meeting with public officials who oppose California's sanctuary policies, President Trump criticized U.S.
	immigration.
	That was CNN, making it appear that as they're just talking about immigration in general, all these immigrants are animals, according to CNN.
	That's not what he was talking about.
	ABC, same thing.
	President Trump refers to some who cross the border illegally as animals and not people.
	And then a quote from him, taken out of context, you wouldn't believe how bad these people are.
	Again, he is talking about MS-13.
	And they continue with their tweet.
	The president was holding a roundtable discussion with California elected officials who oppose the state's sanctuary law.
	So this is in response to all immigrants, right?
	They did put in their sum.
	They didn't say which sum that is.
	CBS, these aren't people, these are animals, quote-unquote.
	President Trump used the harsh rhetoric to describe some undocumented immigrants.
	MS-13 is just undocumented immigrants to these people.
	Yeah, wait till they chop your child or daughter up, as a father who came to this country from El Salvador, New York, said.
	He said, I thought we were escaping these monsters, these animals.
	I don't know exactly what he referred to them, but he had some pretty harsh criticism for them.
	They are animals.
	And it was, it's the Hispanic community, the undocumented immigrant community.
	That is bearing the brunt of this.
	For now.
	For now.
	Don't worry.
	They'll get around to the rest of us later.

	President Trump says the U.S.
	has the dumbest laws on immigration in the world during a roundtable in Sanctuary City.
	That's how they report it.

	These are people who are lying to you, who are spinning the news, who are taking it purposely out of context.
	Absolutely amazing, isn't it?

	Trump lashed out at undocumented immigrants during a White House meeting, calling those trying to breach the country's borders animals.
	That's the New York Times.
	The headline still has that up there.
	All these people are still selling that lie.
	They're absolutely unashamed of the lie.
	This is about 12 hours or so after this has happened.
	Actually, a little bit more than this now.
	This is yesterday afternoon.
	They put this stuff up there.
	Andrea Mitchell.
	A tough takedown by the California governor after Trump calls people trying to get into this country animals and not people.
	There's the Federal Reserve Chief, Alan Greenspan's wife, saying that President Trump is calling all people trying to get into this country animals.
	You had Robert Costa of the Washington Post come out and say, President Trump has used the animal phrase going back to at least 2015.
	It links to a Washington Post story.
	What he fails to mention is that Trump used the word in reference to the illegal immigrant who shot and killed Kate Steinle.
	You think that makes a difference?
	Do you think that that guy's an animal?
	That guy who gamed the California quote-unquote legal system so many times?
	Stole a gun from an officer's car.
	Shot Kate Steinle.
	He says, it wasn't me, it was the gun, it just went off, you know, like lethal weapon style, you know, the guns just go off by themselves.
	He had nothing to do with it.
	Nothing to do with it.
	And he gets away with it, time and time again.
	The White House came back and Sarah Sanders Had a great takedown, as The Hill says, White House said Thursday that President Trump was clearly referring to members of the MS-13 gang, and you clearly heard that, we played that clip a couple of times, when he called some of the immigrants animals, and they argued the controversial label is more than appropriate.
	Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters, if the media and liberals want to defend MS-13, they're more than welcome to.
	Yeah, don't throw us into that briar patch.
	Frankly, I don't think the term the President used is strong enough.
	Said Sanders.
	She rattled off a list of heinous acts committed by the gang, including rape, beating a woman with a baseball bat, killing and decapitating a man.
	The term animal doesn't go far enough, and neither did that list of heinous acts that they did.
	You could spend a long time talking about what MS-13 has done to people in this country.
	And again, who are they doing it to, for the most part?
	Almost exclusively, the Hispanic community.
	All these Democrats who care so much for the Hispanic community won't protect them from criminals, just like they won't protect us from criminals.
	The government, especially the Democrats, is not there to protect you from criminals.
	Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims, again, said she was frustrated about how the laws have limited the ability of local law enforcement to enforce these immigration laws.
	And during a cabinet meeting on Thursday, Trump had something to say about it himself.
	He says, I'm referring, and you know I'm referring, to the MS-13 gangs that are coming in.
	I was talking about MS-13, and if you look a little bit further on in the tape, you will see that.
	I actually see it before he made his comments.
	So I'm actually surprised that you're asking this question, because most people got it right.
	Well, actually, most people didn't.
	They intentionally got it wrong.
	Even AP got it wrong.
	And then they had to do a retraction.
	And at least they did a retraction.
	These other news organizations that I just mentioned have not done a retraction.
	As a matter of fact, organizations like the Washington Post have doubled down on it.
	Anyway, he said, MS-13, these are animals.
	We need strong immigration laws.
	We have laws that are laughed at on immigration.
	So when MS-13 comes in, And when the other gang members come into our country, I refer to them as animals.
	And guess what?
	I always will.
	Breitbart has the story nine times that President Trump has referred to MS-13 gang members as animals.
	Going back, their first one is March the 10th, 2018.
	Actually, they've got these in reverse order.
	The first one was back in June 21st, 2017.
	There he said, they don't like to shoot people, they like to cut people.
	They do things that nobody can believe.
	These are true animals.
	We are moving them out of the country by the thousands, by the thousands.
	So that was June of last year.
	And then most recently in Pennsylvania, March the 10th, He said, places that I know so well are loaded up with MS-13.
	They don't use guns.
	They like to use knives and other things because it is much more painful.
	It is much slower.
	These are animals.
	We send these guys out and we liberate those towns.
	Every one of these nine times that he talks about it, he talks about the fact that they like to do this slowly.
	They like to torture their victims.
	You know, kind of like Gina Haspel, who was confirmed yesterday by the Senate.

	I went over the quotes, the headlines, the comments, the tweets from all these different news organizations, having a payday.
	Taking President Trump's comments out of context, so blatantly out of context as to lie, quite frankly.
	Saying that he's characterizing everyone, even trying to get into this country, as animals when he was talking about MS-13.
	I played that for you twice, but let's play for you what Nancy Pelosi said.
	Because Nancy Pelosi has actually embraced the MS-13 people.
	They're not animals, she says.
	They're God's children.
	Here's Nancy Pelosi.
	When the President of the United States says about undocumented immigrants, these aren't people.
	These are animals.
	You have to wonder, does he not believe in the spark of divinity, the dignity and worth of every person?
	These are not people.
	These are animals.
	The President of the United States.
	Every day that you think you've seen it all, along comes another manifestation of why their policies are so inhumane.
	That's right.
	Go ahead and embrace MS-13, Nancy.
	Embrace the lie of the mainstream media.

	Washington Post itself has talked about MS-13.
	Going back to November 2017, they didn't really see them necessarily as God's children at that time.

	Washington Post said back in November, as many as 10 members of the MS-13 street gang lured a man into a park in Wheaton, Maryland.
	They spoke with one another over walkie-talkies as he arrived.
	They stabbed him more than 100 times.
	They decapitated him.
	Then they cut out his heart, according to police documents made public in Montgomery County District Court.
	In July, Fox News gave this example.
	They said one of the targeted victims ran immediately and escaped, but the group of MS-13 members and associates attacked and killed Lopez, Tigre, and Villalobos using machetes, knives, and wooden clubs, said the prosecutors.
	The four victims were surrounded by more than a dozen MS-13 members, including the defendants.
	and engulf them in a horrific frenzy of violence as they were brutally bludgeoned, sliced, and stabbed to death.
	And of course, that was a different attack.
	They all seem to have that kind of a characteristic.
	The GOP Dems love their torture gang, MS-13.
	I'm going to tell you in just a minute here how much the GOP loves their torture gang, the CIA.
	Of course, it's a bipartisan thing.
	You had a lot of Democrats across the aisle to vote for our first person as head of the CIA that was already a known criminal before they became head of the CIA.
	That's the interesting new ground that we're breaking here.
	I see Breitbart talking about, oh, it's the first woman put in as head of the CIA.
	Well, yeah, that's true.
	That's the first time we've known that somebody was a criminal before they even got into that office where they torture people, murder people, assassinate people, and overthrow regimes and start wars.
	Maybe they've got a little bit more power and maybe a little bit more dangerous even than MS-13.
	Certainly as ruthless as those psychopaths there at the CIA.
	But it's not just Nancy Pelosi, of course.
	We've got Chuck Schumer.
	Jumping in and saying, when all our great-great-grandparents came to America, they weren't animals, and these people aren't either.
	You know what?
	Our great-great-grandparents weren't MS-13 either.
	They were not.
	But John Legend comes out, and John Legend is not trying to pretend that President Trump is talking about immigrants in general.
	He acknowledges that it's MS-13, and he defends it.
	He still defends it.
	He says, John Legend, the entertainer, says that to call these people animals even ms-13 if you know what they have done and he comes I says even human beings who commit heinous acts are the same species as us and not animals well I you know we have to take a look at do you really want to live next to these people John I know that you pretty wealthy entertainer
	And you've got security guards, and you've got gated communities that you live in, and you don't have to really worry about this as much as the rest of us who rub elbows with the people who are let in here indiscriminately.
	He goes on and said, you know, I'm in the hospital.
	I just had a baby.
	I'm looking at all these wonderful little babies here.
	And he says, I think it's society.
	I think it's their home life.
	I think that something like that, that changes a baby into a violent gang member.
	So, you know, it's not It's our fault, really, as society.
	We need more welfare services for people.
	We're told the same thing about Islamic terrorists.
	They just need to have more money, and they need to have a higher standard of living.
	Now, the official government story about 9-11
	is that the people who flew the two planes into uh... uh... into uh... the three buildings came down in new york by itself right uh... but those people in the official story were saudis and most of these terrorists that are uh... there were they were fighting in foreign countries their profiles on them are not that they are poor people uh... they're typically comfortably middle class
	Very comfortably middle class, especially in Saudi Arabia.
	So it really doesn't kind of hold up with that.
	He went on to blame the United States.
	He suggested, John Legend did, that American policy was responsible for the rise of MS-13.
	He said, we should particularly interrogate the role of American policy in helping to make MS-13 the organization that it is now.
	Clearly not understanding that MS-13 has, because of DACA, And the Obama Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, saying, I'm going to defer enforcement of immigration laws, defer enforcement of the border.
	MS-13 sped up the number of MS-13 gang members coming across, because most of them are very young.
	A lot of these crimes that are happening in Long Island and Maryland and elsewhere, Are young gang members coming after other kids in the Hispanic community who are in high school?
	Sometimes it's because they won't join the gang.
	Sometimes it's because of rivalries for boyfriends or girlfriends that they kill these people.
	But they have actually stepped this up.
	They're coming into this country.
	They haven't been raised in this country.
	They're not Americans.
	They're foreign citizens who have come here.
	Foreign citizen gang members who have come here, taking advantage of the Obama policies that, by the way, are being continued by the Trump administration.
	This is not something that President Trump is powerless to do anything about, any more than he was powerless to get us out of the Paris Climate Accord or the Obama-Iran deal.
	DACA is exactly the same thing.
	And if President Trump wants to stop DACA, he could do it just as quickly as he did those other two, just as easily as he did those other two.
	The issue is that he and the Republican Party don't want to stop DACA.
	They want it to continue to go on.
	That's the big problem.
	But the real issue is not that we are turning them into it.
	The real issue is the open borders, the refusal to deport these people, even when we know that they're illegal and MS-13 gang members.
	And the fact that we had sanctuary cities in L.A.
	that allowed MS-13 like a virus.
	You know, leprosy can easily be cured if you have good hygiene, until it gets to a certain point.
	And once it gets to a certain point, once that bacteria gets to a certain point, you really can't control it with anything.
	You really can't.
	And so he continues on.
	He wrote a bunch of tweets out there dehumanizing large groups of people.
	You know what?
	Hispanics are the group that is being dehumanized by this.
	And Tucker Carlson jumped in on it last night.
	He said, MS-13 is a living reminder that the left's position on immigration is fundamentally a lie.
	He said, why would the left be defending the country's most violent street gang?
	Trump has made them irrational.
	That's part of it.
	But the left also senses a threat to its basic worldview.

	The media tell you every day that every immigrant, whether they're legal or not, is a future brain surgeon or tech company founder.
	Therefore, immigration controls are unnecessary.

	But MS-13 is the worst of the worst.
	And they're going to double down, and they're going to defend that in their mental illness.
	And so are the Koch brothers.

	Alright, let's go to the breaking news out of Venezuela.
	and uh... here's what's happening in kitchens across minnesota the on the line here not
	krakow uh... pop as i eventually as margaret thatcher said In socialism, you run out of other people's money.

	Eventually, you run out of other people's money, and in Venezuela, you're running out of snap, crackle and pop.
	This is a very large factory.
	Kellogg.
	People showed up to work and they didn't have any advance notice.
	They saw a note taped to the fence.
	Said the company had ended operations.
	They said the current economic and social deterioration of the country has now prompted the company to discontinue operations.
	And as New American points out, Kellogg's had been making cereal in Venezuela since 1961.
	At one point, they were the largest foreign presence in South America after Mexico.
	But they had to shut it down because of a lot of factors that are unique to the socialists.
	You know, they're going to say it's not their fault, of course, right?
	It's not the socialists' fault.
	They've been overcome by circumstances.
	And it's probably those evil capitalists.
	As a matter of fact, they're saying, well, why did they do this right before the election?
	These people are trying to make sure that I don't get reelected.
	No, the reality is it's the hyperinflation.
	And as Kellogg said, they can't bring in the raw materials to make the snap, crackle, pop.
	Because they've got currency restrictions from Maduro.
	So they can't pay for the raw materials to come in to make the cereal.
	This led to critical shortages.
	And also, the people who are there don't have the money to buy the Snap, Crackle, Pop.
	That's the reality of the situation.
	They may run out of other people's money, but they never run out of excuses.
	And then, that happened at the beginning of the week.
	Now, after that, a couple of days after that, the government said, we have now handed over control of the factory to the workers.
	The workers will continue to make snap, crackle, and pop.
	Except they won't have any raw materials, and they won't have any customers who can buy their products.
	Good luck with that.

	You know, some other companies that have gone out of business in Venezuela are Bridgestone, Kimberly-Clark, General Mills, and Colgate-Palmolive.
	And it's not Venezuela's fault.
	Even though they have a massive amount of, their economy is running, 95% of their income is from oil.
	And thanks to the policies of the military industrial complex and President Trump, we now have, with the Iran situation, we have a massive increase in the price of oil.
	Saudis aren't going to do anything to bring that down.
	That's exactly why the Saudis wanted this to happen.
	And so, oil has gone up over $80 a barrel.
	OPEC's not doing anything to increase production.
	Venezuela is going bankrupt because they can't produce something that they have in massive quantities.
	They just can't get this stuff out of the ground.
	They don't know how to do it.
	The socialists don't know how to do this.
	But instead, they're going to blame not socialism, they're going to blame the U.S., even though the U.S.
	policies are helping them.
	So it's the hyperinflation, it's the hungers, everything else is armed gangs.
	You've got Colombian guerrilla groups operating unchecked on the borders.
	You've got pro-government militias terrorizing urban areas.
	Police are standing accused of extrajudicial killings.
	Four of the ten most dangerous cities in the world are now in Venezuela, according to a Brazilian think tank.
	That may be why Brazil is trying to make sure that they don't get a massive flood of people across the border.
	You know, Venezuela has, well, one, the president's not going to close the border.
	The Brazilian president said closing the border is unthinkable, channeling Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.
	But the governor of one of the provinces that they're going into said, we can't handle this.
	So we had more than 50,000 people flee Venezuela last year into our province that only has 500,000 people.
	So, we can't handle an influx of people that is equal to 10% of the existing population here.
	We can't provide them health care.
	We can't provide them housing and education.
	You know, they're going to pay for the schools.
	Just like we have to pay for the schools of all the DACA dreamers who come here.
	Even the MS-13 members who are sent here by their gang.
	We have to pay for their education.
	That means that your property taxes go up.
	That means that your American dream shrinks if it doesn't disappear altogether.
	And so this Brazilian governor says that we can't handle this.
	They've got 800 Venezuelans coming across the border every day.
	But you know we had the U.S.
	caravan from Mexico.
	That was about 1,500.
	That was about what comes across the border every day in terms of the number of people that we actually find.
	The ones we don't know about, that's even higher.
	And what do we see in Venezuela?
	They said there's videos that have surfaced coming out of a prison.
	They had what was going to be the largest shopping mall in the capital of Venezuela, Caracas, has now been turned into a prison for political prisoners.
	That's socialism for you.
	They've got political prisoners in this building that was built to be a mall.
	They are demanding That there be a stop to the torture there.
	I said, not only are we political prisoners that are being held here.
	They said there's one of them is a former mayor of San Cristobal.
	Another person was, he was arrested for refusing to follow orders from Hugo Chavez.
	So he's been there for a while.
	Another one is a student opposition leader.
	Another one is an American hostage.
	At least one of the prisoners has received a brutal beating for demanding his rights.
	I think they probably call that in Venezuela enhanced discipline.
	If they're smart.
	Maybe they'd take a lead from the CIA and just call it enhanced discipline instead of beatings.
	But the place is so corrupt that the prisoners can get videos out of there.
	Because they can bribe the police to get the videos of the beatings and the torture out of there.
	And they don't have to worry about the person running the torture site deleting the videos like Gina Haspel did.
	See, that's a big part of the problem.
	We have the same type of thing here.
	When we look at the future here, when we look at the way that Bernie Sanders and so many millennials are embracing this socialist system that has done this in Venezuela, and then we look at the conservatives and the GOP because of partisanship and because of an idiotic idea that even if it was true, it would be despicable to say that we're going to torture people because it's effective.
	But it isn't effective.
	They don't want to listen to the generals and the admirals who say it's not effective.
	109 of them.
	And so we embrace that here in America, don't we?
	We're in the process of embracing socialism that has put these people, these political prisoners, in this former shopping mall.
	And we are embracing With the promotion of Gina Haspel, the kind of violent terrorism.
	But unlike Venezuela, we have people in our system that will protect their crimes.

	You know, he says he's going to, dropping all these hints, that he's going to be running in 2020.

	And they were talking about a book that came out.

	And the headline says, Bernie encourages everyone to read a book that pushes him to run in 2020.

	We had activists on Monday begin six weeks of protests calling for new welfare programs to help millions of people in America who live in poverty and other social change.
	Things like voting rights laws changing.
	We don't want to ID anybody and we want people who come here from foreign countries looking for a free ride.
	We want them to be able to vote for the Democrats as well.
	And so this is what's happening across the country.
	Seven state capitals, Washington D.C., the so-called Poor People's Campaign.
	And we've had the Mises Institute talk about on Zero Hedge the fact that millennial candidates are embracing socialism while Venezuela is choking on it.
	One of them right here in Texas.
	Running for office over in the Houston area, Franklin Bynum was unchallenged.
	Don't even have a Republican running against him.
	And he won the Democratic nomination to become a criminal court judge in Houston.
	He's a vowed socialist.
	And he's not the only one in Texas.
	At least 16 other socialists appeared on the ballot in primary races across Texas.
	As I point out, socialism has oozed out of the college classrooms and into the ballot box.
	He said, yes, I'm running as a socialist.
	He told the New York Times, I'm running as a far-left candidate.
	What I'm trying to do is to be a Democrat, who actually stands for something and tells people, here's how we're going to materially improve conditions in your life.
	He's a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, the DSA.
	They said it's growing by leaps and bounds after Trump's election, even in conservative states like Texas.
	Their membership has increased from about 5,000 to 35,000 nationwide.
	Said our message of socialism resonates with millennials who are making less money than their parents did and are less able to buy a home and are drowning in student debt.
	Well, you just wait.
	You may be drowning in student debt, but you're going to be drowning in the debt of the welfare state before long.
	It's not just going to be your student loan.
	It's going to be those public pensions and everything else that the Federal Reserve, as I talked about the other day in Illinois, gave us an idea of where this is going.
	This one person named Zack Meier said their student loan payment was a burden of $1,000 a month and it convinced her to become a socialist.
	There you go.
	Let's just make that go away.
	We'll just make it go away.
	We'll give us all of our socialist students a free ride on the loans.
	We'll forgive all that.
	We'll give them all $15 an hour.
	You know, that's exactly what the socialists in Venezuela did.
	In response to all this panic, they decided that they would print more money and they would raise the minimum wage.
	It's the Bernie Sanders program!
	It's exactly what the Democrat Socialists are offering us.
	The New York Times also, you know, they love all this stuff.

	And I reported earlier this week how, at a meeting, the Chicago Federal Reserve Board proposed how to take care of the bankrupt public pension system in Illinois that's bankrupting the state.
	They said, we got an idea.
	Let's put a 1% tax on every house.
	So if you're looking at something that's around the median price of a house, about $250,000, that'd mean you'd pay an additional $2,500 per year on your tax.
	We'll do that.
	We'll put that on for at least 30 years, they said.
	Well, if you look at the debt of the typical Illinois resident, it's $11,000 of debt for every resident.
	So maybe what they're doing is they're multiplying that out by the number of people in a household, but it isn't going to go away.
	It isn't going to go away.
	You think that you're going to just wish away your student debt, your student loan?
	You're going to find yourself fighting with the retired government employees for the pension as to, because they want to get paid as well.

	They go straight out of their indoctrination camps, we call public schools, colleges, and into the socialist camp.
	And when we look at how this is going to turn out, of course, everybody is looking at Venezuela.
	Venezuela is not the only example.
	They always say, well, it's not a good example, say the American socialists.
	No, it is a good example.
	North Korea is a good example.
	East Germany was a good example.
	Those are very good controlled experiments.
	Because there you had a country, a population that was exactly the same in terms of their culture, their work ethic, everything else.
	I mean, you know, we always have experiments where we control for nature versus nurture and circumstances.
	Well, that's what we did when we split East and West Germany and we split North and South Korea.
	And we know what a socialist, authoritarian, command-control system does to people.
	We don't have to guess, and we see it happening again in Venezuela.
	And the other part of it is the torture of political prisoners that is happening there.
	As I talked about this, several of the opposition leaders, people who were mayors, for example, who spoke out against Hugo Chavez, still in prison under his successor, who is now going to be running for re-election this weekend.
	They appeared in videos circulating on social media demanding an end to daily torture and to the release of those who have not been convicted of any crime.
	Oh, this could never happen in America, right?
	Let me tell you.
	It wasn't just the Bundys and the people who were there, some of whom, the Bundys eventually got released.
	They were in jail for two years, but some people surrounding that event are still there.
	We've got New Jersey weed man, Ed 4chan.
	has been in jail for quite some time without trial, without bail.
	We've got that in our Constitution.
	How can that happen?
	Well, New Jersey said we're going to have bail reform.
	We're not going to, because we don't like the idea that some poor people can't afford bail.
	So we're going to just say that everybody gets out of jail free, unless the judge decides that you're not eligible for bail, in which case you're going to stay in there indefinitely.
	You won't be able to buy your way out with bail at all.
	You won't get a bail hearing.
	Period.
	It's a much worse system, quite frankly, because it then depends on the arbitrary judge.
	It gets even more arbitrary.
	And so we have a lot of political prisoners.
	People who do things that the government finds dangerous.
	Like talking about our right to own property when we're talking about being out west.
	Or your right to be able to decide what you're going to put into your body.
	Which is the situation with the marijuana activist Ed 4chan, New Jersey weed man.
	So yeah, we do put people in jail that we have not convicted of any crime and we leave them there for very long periods of time.
	We've got Marty Gottesfeld.
	who was trying to help a young girl who was medically kidnapped by Boston Children's Hospital, affiliated with Harvard.
	And because that's a very powerful institution, he's been in jail now for a couple of years without bail.
	Can't get out.
	Hasn't been tried yet, but they're going to keep him there.
	Allegedly, He hacked their system while they were doing a fundraiser.
	That was the crime for which he's been in jail for two years.
	He went up against the power structure.
	Is that that much different than Venezuela?
	Somebody going up against Hugo Chavez?
	You just keep them in jail.
	And there they torture them.
	We would never do that here, would we?
	Wait a minute, didn't we just have the Senate bipartisan citizen confirm Gina Haspel?
	As Breitbart said, first woman to serve as a CIA director.
	She's the first known criminal to be confirmed as a CIA director.
	The other people, we had to wait until the evidence came to light about their criminal actions.
	But, for Gina, we already know, coming in, she's a criminal.
	You know, so we've got the left that's out there embracing socialism.
	We've got the left that's out there embracing the animals of MS-13.
	And the right is embracing socialism light And we're embracing the animals of the CIA.
	Who's more dangerous?
	Who's more powerful?
	The CIA or MS-13?
	Yeah, MS-13's bad.
	But you don't even see all the stuff that the CIA is doing, because we've got people like Gina Haspel deleting those records.
	See, here in this prison in Venezuela, they can bribe the guards because everybody needs the money.
	Socialism has taken hold there.
	They need the money so they can take videos, they can get their demands out, they can actually put them on social media.
	When we saw what happened at Abu Ghraib, we saw the depravity and the sadistic attitudes of these people who were prison guards there at Abu Ghraib.
	Some of them went to jail.
	Their defense was, well, you know, these guys, after they've gotten out, they're very ashamed of themselves.
	Their neighbors say, yeah, he's a really decent guy.
	I don't know what happened.
	He must have just been swept up in the Mormont or he must have been, you know, following orders.
	Yeah.
	That happens.
	Two-thirds of the people in every country, as we found from Milgram experiments, it may even be worse now with social media.
	Two-thirds of the people will just follow orders.
	They don't care.
	They don't have a higher moral standard.
	They'll do anything.
	That's why it's so imperative that we have to have moral leaders.
	And maybe we should start by putting moral leaders in the Senate, because we just had a bipartisan vote that put Gina Haspel in.
	The U.S.
	Senate yesterday confirmed her as the next CIA director, despite deep reservations among some lawmakers that her past involvement in harsh interrogation of terror suspects was a red flag.
	Well, it also might be a red flag that she obstructed justice.
	See, if these people at the Abu Ghraib prison went to jail for pictures of their sadistic, sexual, and it's not even torture, I would just call it harassment.
	Those people were sent to jail.
	Can you imagine if we actually had the videos that Gina Haspel destroyed?
	What would happen to, let's say, Gina Haspel?
	Or to other people?
	She should be in jail.
	In the end, the support came from Senate Democrats to put her over the edge.
	We had Rand Paul and Jeff Flake vote against it.
	But there were six Democrats.
	They said, this is not the nearest of Trump nominee confirmations.
	She got a higher majority than Betsy DeVos or Jeff Sessions or Scott Pruitt.
	They all had smaller margins of victory.
	Isn't that amazing?
	And as the CIA and President Trump were launching an all-out charm offensive, They also got support from James Clapper.
	This tells you everything.
	The liar.
	James Clapper, the liar.
	Who was exposed by Ed Snowden.
	Just about a month after he lied to everybody.
	And committed perjury, by the way.
	You know, James Clapper is another guy who should be in jail.
	He lied under oath to the American people about what he was doing to the American people.
	And the Republicans let him get away with it.
	That statute of limitations expired a couple months ago for that crime.
	So he didn't go to jail.
	Instead, he helped his buddy, Gina Haspel, get confirmed.
	And so did President Trump and the Trump administration.
	People like Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who I normally agree with, who I normally have a great deal of respect for.
	I'm very disappointed in what the Trump administration has done here.
	Rand Paul says, and again, ask the question, was she involved in a secret spying operation?
	You know, we got James Clapper who is pushing for her.
	John Brennan loves her.
	She was very close to John Brennan.
	She was very high up.
	As Rand Paul said, you know, I'm concerned that there are reports that John Brennan, and by the way, remember, it was Rand Paul who filibustered.
	He didn't filibuster this.
	It was too wide.
	There's no point in filibustering it.
	They probably could have overridden his filibuster right away with 60 votes.
	That's how pathetic the situation is right now in Washington.
	But Rand Paul filibustered John Brennan.
	He was called a clown or something like that for doing that by John McCain.
	John Brennan was the apologist for Obama's drone assassination program.
	Gina Haspel is the apologist and the obstructionist for the torture program.
	And so, as John Brennan is promoted, and as Rand Paul says, I'm concerned.
	There's reports that John Brennan, the former head of the CIA under Obama, was cooperating with British intelligence to spy on the Trump campaign.
	This is a big deal!
	I think Gina Haspel is a close acolyte of John Brennan.
	That means a follower.
	So I think some have called her a protege.
	He said there's some accusations that it might have actually been orders by President Obama's administration, either through John Brennan or others.
	Yes, he was at the very center of this as it was going on.
	And he's taken the lead as he's become a talking head, John Brennan has.
	Friend of Gina Haspel.
	She followed him, as a matter of fact.
	And it goes a little bit deeper than that.
	I'll tell you the connections in Washington.

	As Rand Paul was asking questions, saying, you know, we've got this guy, John Brennan.
	He's kind of at the center of the effort by the intelligence community and the FBI to overthrow the election.
	To try to run a coup against President Trump.
	And yet Gina Haspel was very close to him.
	What is the relationship here?
	Should we even think about this?
	He asked this well before the Senate overwhelmingly confirmed her to head the CIA.
	Nobody cares.
	Nobody cares.
	They don't care about that.
	They don't care that our intelligence community is involved in a coup.
	I mean, we got people, the FBI put moles in the Trump campaign.
	We got the CIA and the NSA running ops on people in the Trump campaign.
	And nobody cares about this?
	We take somebody who was in the center of all this and we make them the head of the CIA?
	Is this insane or what?
	Very troubling.
	And also troubling, I find, is the fact that the American public has embraced this because they have the mistaken belief that this torture program was effective.
	It wasn't effective, folks.
	And if you think that it was effective, and you think that that excuses what was done, then there isn't any hope for this country.
	But let's take a look at Gina Haspel.
	And I just mentioned the questions that Rand Paul made about her connections.
	to John Brennan.
	Zero Hedge has an article about this.
	Was Gina Haspel, Trump's new CIA chief, involved in secret spy op on the Trump campaign?
	They said, yesterday we profiled a puff piece that was planted in the New York Times.
	Attempts to mount a public defense of the FBI ahead of a much-anticipated report by the Department of Justice's Inspector General Horowitz.
	His first report Is expected within weeks.
	He's also investigating the FBI's conduct during the election.
	Said it's fairly certain that the FBI embedded at least one mole, possibly more, inside the Trump 2016 campaign.
	The New York Times piece that they're talking about reveals that the FBI launched Operation Crossfire Hurricane against Trump.
	Sending anti-Trump agent Peter Strzok to London 90 days before the election to meet with Alexander Downer.
	According to the New York Times, Strzok and Downer met to describe the meeting with Trump campaign advisor George Papadopoulos, in which Papadopoulos purportedly said that he knew that the Russians had Hillary Clinton's hacked emails.
	The meeting with Downer was described as, quote, highly unusual, unquote.
	And they said it helped to provide the foundation for a case that a year ago Thursday became the Special Counsel Investigation.
	So here it is, the very center of the Special Counsel Investigation.
	The people whose emails we have seen, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, these people going to London to get together with all these people, creating the Putting together a case to start this phony Russian collusion investigation.
	They said that there were only about five Justice Department officials that were aware of the full scope of the case.
	Moreover, we know that several other meetings of high-profile individuals involved in the anti-Trump effort occurred in London, where former MI6 agent Christopher Steele is based.
	So, what does this have to do with Gina Haspel?
	Well, Jack Posobie laid it out a couple of days ago.
	And here's what he put in the tweet.
	He can fit it all in one tweet.
	There's no excuse for the Senate or for President Trump not to know this.
	No excuse.

	Crossfire Hurricane was a code name for Brennan and Comey's operation in London.
	Next part.
	Strzok, Steele, Downer, Papadopoulos, Misfud, Halper and Page meetings were all based in London.
	Who was the CIA London chief in 2016?
	Gina Haspel.
	Gina Haspel.
	So when you look at it, Brennan is right at the center of all this stuff against the Trump campaign.
	And as Zero Hedge points out, Paul Sperry said on Wednesday, two former colleagues of ex-CIA director John Brennan have contradicted his claim that the unverified Steele dossier was not part of the U.S.
	intelligence community assessment on Russian interference in the 2016 election.
	So just like James Clapper who lied to the American public about dragnet surveillance and was exposed as a liar in about a month by Ed Snowden.
	By the way, that was five years ago.
	So here we are on the five-year anniversary of Ed Snowden showing us how criminal The intelligence agencies were.
	We basically ignored it.
	Yeah, they passed a little head fake bill that did absolutely nothing to stop these people.
	And then what happened?
	After that, we saw them within three years, they were involved in operations to overthrow Trump's campaign.
	And then when that didn't work, they were in operations to overthrow the election of 2016.
	And now we've got one of this group as the head of the CIA.
	Brennan was feeding some of the dossier material to President Obama and he was passing it off as credible.
	While Brennan was feeding Obama unverified information from the Steele dossier, his acolyte, Gina Haspel, was running the London CIA station in very close proximity to the entire cast of characters in the alleged setup.
	So the question is, is Gina Haspel complicit in this coup attempt?
	Or is she simply incompetent?
	That's the question, if we look at this.
	But that's okay.
	They confirmed her, and we're all happy about that, because that's what President Trump wanted.
	So, must be the right thing.
	She even wrote the Senate and said, the enhanced interrogation program is not one that the CIA should have undertaken, said Gina Hespel.
	Well, if that's the case, I guess maybe that's why she destroyed the evidence for them.
	And then they said, oh yeah, she did exactly the right thing.
	Did exactly what we wanted to do.
	I guess if it was moral, and if it worked, my question would be, why aren't you continuing it?
	Don't we want to be tough on terrorists?
	Don't we want to do whatever it takes, even if our government becomes terrorist?
	Even if we become Venezuela, where we start to lock up political prisoners, we don't turn them loose, we don't give people bail, and then we can torture them in prison as well if we want to, because that's where we're headed.
	That's where we're headed.
	Most people in America don't even realize that the government takes your property.
	Most police departments, state police departments, are funded by stolen goods, that they never charged anybody with a crime, let alone found them guilty, in clear violation of the Constitution, in clear violation of human rights, spelled out and protected in our Bill of Rights.
	That doesn't mean anything anymore to anybody in this country.
	So you don't think that this is going to come back against us?
	You don't think that what we sow we will reap?
	Oh, we will.
	We're going to get it real good and hard.
	You know, I look at people looking at the fifth year anniversary of the Snowden leaks, and they say, how a whistleblower changed the world.
	I don't think it really did change.
	Here we are five years after Ed Snowden.
	I wish it did.
	See, we were telling you this stuff was going on before.
	We hope that maybe when people saw the evidence, They would want to change.
	They didn't want to change, even after they saw the evidence.
	He said, speak not because it is safe, speak because it is right.
	That's what Ed Snowden said.
	And he's been fighting for freedom from government oppression, government oversight, government surveillance.

	It would come home from work, it would be operating, go to bed, it was still operating, and this would repeat day after day.
	His neighbors in Sacramento's Upper Land Park neighborhood wondered what it was doing.
	It just doesn't feel good.
	It kind of hovers around.
	You don't know what they're looking at.
	You'll get used to it.
	You'll be over our house until 3 o'clock in the morning for like two or three nights in a row.
	You're just walking at night or whatever and all of a sudden it's like... And it like hovers.
	Then, just this week, they learned it's being flown by the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency.
	I think you're raised doing the drones.
	Why?
	Why?
	What's the logic?
	The agency manages two nearby public housing communities.
	The complexes have seen serious crimes in the past, including a fatal shooting in January and a triple homicide in 2016.
	We initiated the drone program in order to try to enhance the safety and security for our residents.
	Housing Authority officials say the five-foot-long aircraft operates between 6 p.m.
	and 6 a.m.
	and it has already spotted illegal dumping and trespassing.
	Pilots have established a protocol to protect privacy.
	The drones are programmed so that they do not catch any footage until they get to about 200 feet in the air.
	The Housing Authority says the program is legal but some neighbors have doubts.
	We feel our privacy is being invaded.
	And opponents say this type of surveillance technology doesn't belong in a residential setting.
	This is not an appropriate way to police the community.
	That's right.
	They don't need a search warrant.
	They're conditioning the people there.
	This is an organization called the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency.
	But they say they're doing it for law enforcement.
	You know, they want to make sure that You don't have somebody trespassing on your property.
	Well, maybe they're trespassing on your property.
	Maybe they're trespassing on your rights.
	But you're not going to listen to the police scanners, but they will watch everything that you do.
	And they will do it, buzz your house all night.
	A little drone above your house doing that.
	You know, the US has spent 2.8 trillion dollars on terrorism fight since September 11th.
	That's a lot of money.
	A lot of money.
	Since September 11, terrorist attacks, the Washington-based Stimson Center think tank said that the spending on the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, in addition to homeland security efforts overseas and domestic, $2.8 trillion.
	That's more than the gross domestic product of the UK.
	It's not as much as the Pentagon lost last year, though.
	They lost six and a half trillion dollars.
	So that's three times the gross domestic product of the UK.
	The Simpson study finds a variety of weaknesses and definitions, tracking and consistencies that limit accuracy and contribute to a lack of transparency regarding the current data.
	And one of the authors said, we're moving in the wrong direction.
	They found that counter-terrorism spending is more than ten times higher than before September 11th, 2001, with no signs of falling.
	Of course, we've created a new profit center.
	We no longer just have the military-industrial complex.
	We have the police-state-surveillance complex, and it's a very lucrative business.
	But now they've gotten back the profit center that they lost When the Soviet Union fell.
	They wanted those intercontinental ballistic missile systems and they've got that going again now too.
	We've restarted the Cold War.
	So that's great.
	I mean, you know, Wall Street loves this.
	The bankers love this.
	The Washington establishment loves this.
	We look at how they are monitoring us and they spent so much money, nearly three trillion dollars on all this.
	Are we getting our money's worth?
	You know, we had this massive leak of CIA documents We've had hackers break in and get the data of federal employees.
	And we've had even the CIA's, you know, Vault 7 and all that stuff, the owner's manual of how they're going to spoof people and make it look like they're Russians doing certain things, or North Koreans, or Chinese, or whatever.
	They've got the usual suspects.
	They can spoof all these different agencies.
	WikiLeaks revealed The manuals, so you can see what their capability was.
	They didn't put the code out there.
	The code, however, did get put out there by other people.
	Where did all that stuff come from?
	Is the CIA really that competent, the NSA that competent, when their manuals and all their software code can be stolen?
	And when you look at how it got stolen, as we've got the guy who now, after all this time, it's been well over a year since all this stuff went out into the wild.
	Well over a year.
	Now they have identified a former CIA intelligence officer.
	He's suspected by the government of leaking classified information to WikiLeaks.
	But as Motherboard says, this is some of the worst OPSEC I've ever seen.
	In other words, this is incredible that this guy was able to get away with this.
	For years he was putting stuff up on a public board and the CIA had absolutely no clue.
	This massive surveillance state that you have surrendered your money and your privacy and your liberty to is absolutely incapable of protecting even themselves.
	Even themselves.
	And so this guy uploaded CIA-related source code to a personal website that was linked to his real name.
	And the super sleuths at the CIA couldn't find it.
	This is what the investigation of Motherboard shows.
	For years the site was available to anybody on the Internet and the server that hosted it was seized by the government.
	So the government had seized this site because they'd found child pornography on it.
	This guy had posted all of this CIA source code under his name on a site that was seized and under control by the government and it was there for years.
	Instead, it's worth pointing out that regardless of whether he leaked classified information to WikiLeaks or if he's guilty of any crime, he was sloppy in the way that we'd probably prefer intelligence officials with security clearances to not be.
	Well, what about the people who lost all this stuff at the CIA?
	All these people who were in charge of keeping it secret, they weren't paying any attention to him, and once they realized it had gone missing, it took them a long time to find out that this guy had put it under his name In an unprotected area, the Daily Beast reported on Wednesday that he posted snippets of CIA code called OSB Project Wizard in 2013, five years ago, before it was posted to WikiLeaks.
	The government's complaint also notes that it seized a server that hosted a website called The Crypt, a version of The Crypt hosted by the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine.
	Anybody can go to the Wayback Machine, right?
	It's all public.
	Shows that in February 2014 he uploaded at least five copies of Project Wizard to the site, which was available on the public internet and was not password protected.

	Now I said in the last segment we have spent since 9-11 on our surveillance state.
	2.8 trillion dollars.
	And of course that includes things like the Iraq war.
	And a lot of people haven't really talked about what happened in Iraq this last week.

	I mentioned it earlier this week.
	New American had an article that came out today about it.
	You know, we have the people there who are the anti-American Shias, the Shiites, who are aligned with Iran.
	Iran has had major victories with the political parties in Lebanon and now with Iraq.
	This last week.
	It's been that way in Lebanon for a while with Hezbollah, but now in Iraq.
	This guy who was elected there.
	You know, it was quite a while ago that George Bush said it was mission accomplished.
	But this guy, Muqtada al-Sadr, was elected there.
	He's an anti-American Shiite cleric.
	Yeah, kind of like the Ayatollah Khomeini.
	Supported by Iran.
	And a clear winner in the country's fourth parliamentary election since the overthrow of Saddam Hussein.
	This is a guy who is also in alliance with the Iraqi Communist Party.
	And a lot of veterans who are looking at this are not happy about this.
	As they point out, nearly 5,000 U.S.
	soldiers died in the Iraq war.
	Another 32,000 were injured.
	Life-altering injuries, losing limbs and so forth.
	A lot of people, their lives have been altered because of PTSD, things that they saw, suffered there.
	That's not counting the hundreds of thousands, maybe, according to some counts, over a million Iraqis who died.
	And you know, it was all about these weapons of mass destruction that didn't exist.
	These weapons of mass destruction, the story that was fed to the public and fed to people internally, you know where a lot of that intelligence came from?
	Gina Haspel.
	A lot of people in the State Department.
	So we found out a lot of this intelligence about the weapons of mass destruction was a product of torture.
	We knew we'd been had.
	Now, they may be trying to cover their tracks there, but that's one of the reasons why you got 109 ex-generals and admirals that don't like Gina Haspel, don't like the torture program.
	It wasn't effective, folks.
	The torture program got us into Iraq.
	All you people out there who are saying, well, it's great, and these terrorists are animals, and we need to do whatever we can to these animals.
	Just do it for the thrill of getting even with these people.
	It got us into the Iraq war.
	It's a big part of the lies that got us into the Iraq war.
	Military journalist Tom Ricks said, when I saw that the movement led by radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr was the big winner in Iraq's recent elections, my heart kind of sank.
	I don't really care one way or the other about him, but I thought of all the American troops who fought and saw comrades die, trying to corral him back in the spring of 2004, and I wondered what they thought.
	Bill Edmonds, who served in the Army Special Forces in Iraq, wrote in his book, God Is Not Here, he said, it's like all the pain and the loss were for nothing.
	But what is happening here in America?
	You know, it isn't just our foreign wars that never end, in Iraq and Afghanistan.
	That never end and never produce anything that benefits America.
	We don't define what winning is.
	We don't define what the end point is.
	There isn't any end point, folks.
	Here's a clue.
	They're not getting out.
	They're getting in.
	To more wars.
	That's what's really going on.
	And it doesn't matter who's president.
	It keeps going.
	And so now we've got this story coming out about Google's selfish ledger.
	And as The Verge and others, and these are linked on the Drudge Report, one of them, TechSpot, So it's interesting to see how concerned tech companies like Facebook, Twitter, and Google have become about user privacy.
	Because the big talking point on data collection is that big tech companies only want to use our data to improve the user experience.
	It's kind of like Mrs. Robinson.
	You know, we'd like to know a little bit about you for our files.
	We'd like to help you learn to help yourself.
	Look about you.
	All you see are sympathetic eyes and those eyes are watching your every move.
	Everywhere.
	The all-seeing eye.
	The Total Information Awareness Eye.
	Remember that was what they called it?
	Right about the time of September 11th, everybody said, ooh, this is kind of creepy.
	When I talked about this five weeks ago, I talked about the fact that they had that creepy logo, the all-seeing eye on top of the pyramid, looking at the world, calling it Total Information Awareness.
	As some people said, they might as well have used the motto, we spy on absolutely everybody.
	And that was well before we had the Snowden leaks.
	That was a dozen years before the Snowden leaks.
	The Information Awareness Office, Total Information Awareness, first they tried changing the name, and then they said, well, we're just not going to do that anymore.
	DARPA had a project that was called LifeLog.
	And what it would do is it would create a log of everything about everybody.
	You know, kind of like what Facebook does.
	And it's interesting that they shut that down just as Facebook was starting.
	And as Facebook was starting, who was funding Facebook?
	Well, you know, there's money from the CIA's venture capital firm, In-Q-Tel, and then there are people that were the leaders of DARPA and these other intelligence agencies that were sitting on the boards of these other venture capital funds that started these social media companies and so forth.
	It's all just coincidental, of course.
	And it's all deniable, of course.
	As it would be.
	And so, you know, I'm just kind of suspicious of these kind of coincidences that happen there.
	Maybe you are too.
	I don't know.
	But it just happens that that whole LifeLog program and the Total Information Awareness program, they were shut down when we got Twitter and Google and Facebook doing all this stuff to people.
	And so you got this Selfish Ledger.
	It's a short film.
	The Verge found it, somehow, said Google has been thinking about using total data collection.
	How is that different from total information awareness?
	Well, see, it's not done by the government.
	It's okay if it's done by a private corporation.
	They can have the private corporation censor you.
	Right?
	They can enact draconian censorship.
	They can set up social credit scores.
	Oh, we would never let the American government do it like they do in China.
	China is the beta test, but the way it's being implemented here in the United States is through Google and Facebook and Twitter and other people like that, of course.
	And this was deliberate.
	This isn't something that just happened.
	They're now letting it come out.
	Because they don't have to hide it anymore.
	Look, we just confirmed Gina Haspel.
	There's no stigma about spying on the American people.
	James Clapper got away with committing perjury about it.
	And he's one of the people pushing for Gina Haspel to get in.
	John Brennan and his drone assassination program.
	He became CIA director.
	And all these people got involved in trying to overthrow the election.
	President Trump.
	That's okay.
	There's no stigma.
	There's no legal consequences for any of this stuff.
	So let's just have it out there in the open now.
	We got Google.
	X. Google X. Now they just call it X. I guess you could say this is the X-Files.
	Yeah folks, the truth is out there.
	And people don't believe it.
	They look at this stuff.
	You tell people this stuff that is happening right before their eyes and they look at you as if you're talking about flying saucers.
	Maybe more people believe in flying saucers and believe that our government is a bunch of criminals.

	As we look at this new program on Google, their total data collection program.
	Sounds kind of like total information awareness that the CIA and DARPA, the NSA were talking about.
	And then they had to get rid of that.
	Public had reactions to that about 17, 18 years ago.
	We didn't want to go down that road.
	But now we're okay with it after 9-11.
	Amazing.
	How a staged event can affect people's mentality in this country.
	And as they're saying, it appears, what if, as we look at this, as we look at this information that came out, The Verge got this film from Google, talking about this called the Selfish Ledger.
	They said, what if there's an ulterior motive to big tech's data collection?
	That they're not just trying to help us, not trying to make our life better.
	Maybe they don't want to just improve our experience online.
	Maybe they're not even just interested in making money.
	You know, they're doing a lot of stuff that makes it harder for them to make money.
	You know, when YouTube demonetizes conservatives across the board, that's cutting into their revenue as well.
	There are companies out there who don't mind putting ads on conservative content, but they don't want the revenue.
	They want the control.
	It's far more important for them to do... It's kind of like you see this... You've seen this a long time in Hollywood.
	Hollywood could make a lot more money doing family films than they do with R-rated films.
	R-rated films just don't make that much money.
	And yet, that's what Hollywood wants to do.
	It's important to them to make R-rated films.
	They're taken seriously by their peers when they do that.
	They consider themselves to be artists.
	They think they're being commercial sellouts if they do family films.
	Or if they do a big blockbuster film.
	So they'll do something really edgy, really perverted, really violent, whatever.
	And it doesn't make that much money.
	But they're willing to do that because they're doing it for their cause.
	Now, Google and Facebook, they have some allegiance, I think, to the organizations that help to fund them.
	Organizations like DARPA, like the CIA's venture capital firm, Incatel.
	But they ask, what if they're secretly looking to control the world?
	Not about helping us.
	Not about helping us help ourselves, or about making money.
	They just want to control us.
	What if that's the case?
	That's asked by TechSpot.
	They said, according to the short film Uncovered by the Verge called Selfish Leader, Google has been thinking about using total data collection and social engineering to modify the behavior of entire populations.
	The nine-minute video examines the possibilities of using big data to guide users into conforming to a predetermined agenda.
	Folks, they've been doing this through our school system for a long time.
	It's just gotten a lot more scientific and technical and broad-based for the entire population.
	For your entire life, they want to be able to do this.
	I've talked for a long time about how the fastest growing part of the intelligence community is geospatial intelligence.
	James Clapper, that's where he's spent most of his time hanging out, with geospatial intelligence.
	And the sub parts of geospatial intelligence are things like activity-based intelligence, ABI, HDA, human domain analytics.

	Yeah, they want to be able to identify who you hang out, who are your friends, what are your political beliefs, what are your religious beliefs, what organizations do you belong to, where are you at any given point in time.

	That's what the geospatial intelligence is about.
	It's about total knowledge and total control.
	Knowing everything about everyone and mapping it out so that they can completely dominate the human domain.
	And they've got Google and Facebook are doing it for them.
	Facebook is keeping the life log on you.
	And Google is out there working on how they can sell you this agenda.
	That's why the metadata is the most important thing.
	It allows them to monitor and to manipulate the hive mind.
	And then they can also overthrow elections and those interesting people.

	It was made two years ago by Google X that they now just call X. The head of design, Nick Foster, fellow researcher David Murphy, did this, they said, for internal use at Google.
	It is now out.
	And in it, they envision a future where massive amounts of data are collected on users and stored in what he refers to as a ledger.
	The ledger contains a user's actions, decisions, preferences, movements, and relationships.
	Folks, it is not a coincidence that this corresponds to geospatial intelligence that James Clapper has been one of the leaders on for the last 17 to 18 years.
	All this stuff began at that time.

	They started pushing geospatial intelligence, which basically looks at your actions, at your decisions, at your movements, at your relationships.
	What religious and political groups do you belong to?
	What do you think?
	Where do you go?
	Where are you at any given point in time?
	That's your activity-based intelligence, your human domain analytics.
	That's all been there for a while.
	This is, it's amazing when you look at this, how this aligns with the intelligence community's goals.
	So if these people aren't shills, if they aren't their surrogate, their crony spies, then It's just unbelievable how this coincides.
	And then, of course, artificial intelligence will analyze this data.
	William Binney has said that what we have already is far worse than anything they had in East Germany.
	He spent decades looking at East Germany for the NSA.
	And what they had there was they had more than half the people spying on the other half the people and creating all these ledgers, just like Google is doing, Except they didn't have any way to go through it algorithmically.
	They didn't have any artificial intelligence.
	They had so much information that they really couldn't glean anything from it.
	They really couldn't mine the information out of that data.
	But now we have AI and we have computers that can do that.
	That's why the metadata is so important for their control.
	You know, they're looking at this.
	They want you to conform to their predetermined agenda.
	When asked about the film, a spokesperson for X, their X-Files, told The Verge, we understand if this is disturbing.
	It was designed to be disturbing.
	These people love to just put it in your face, don't they?
	Just like Eric Schmidt saying, we're going to go right up to the line of creepy and maybe just a little bit over.
	Yeah, we designed this to be disturbing.
	This is a thought experiment by the design team from years ago that uses a technique known as speculative design to explore uncomfortable ideas and concepts in order to provoke discussion and debate.

	Just like Obama said, I'm never going to sign that NDAA.
	That says that we can detain, that the military can detain any of you U.S.
	citizens without charging you of a crime, that we can detain you indefinitely, that we can transport you, that we can do a rendition out of this country to some other area, like, you know, maybe Thailand, where Gina Haspel used to hang out, and we can do whatever we want to.
	We'll never do that.
	Don't worry about that.
	Google says the same thing, and the person who's writing for TechSpot says, well, I find this explanation somewhat hard to swallow.
	I know of no company that spends time, resources, and money on research that has no intention of acting upon it.
	And I don't know any government that spends hundreds of billions of dollars on projects to manipulate our minds, to implant memories, to transfer memories, to erase memories.
	I don't know any government that spends that kind of money in terms of tracking its population, manipulating its population.
	I don't know of any government that would spend that kind of money and then never use it.
	You don't think these people are trying to overthrow the election, President Trump?
	You don't think they would use any of that technology for that kind of stuff?
	And for all the Democrats out there, you don't think that some Republican down the road isn't going to do that to you, to your political party?
	They control us because they divide us and because we are loyal to politicians and to parties and we just allow the deep state and the bureaucracy and these intelligence community creeps to continue doing this without any checks.
	The Verge says it's an unsettling vision of Silicon Valley's social engineering.
	The data of our actions, our decisions, our preferences, our movement, our relationships, our geospatial intelligence, is something that could conceivably be passed on to other users, much as genetic information is passed through the generations.
	Yeah, they talk about it in the video there that you see a little bit of that.
	They start talking about DNA and aspects of this.
	Folks, what they're doing is they're getting the DNA of the crowd.
	Of the herd, of the hive mind.
	And what they're doing is they're doing DNA modification too.
	They don't, they're closing the loop on this thing.
	They want to know that if they put out a narrative about something, whether it's a war or whether it's some kind of a terror attack or whatever, you know, they have a shooting and they want to push gun control, they want to know if you're buying the narrative.
	Do you believe all that stuff about Las Vegas?
	They want to know.
	They want to know.
	If you don't believe that, let's try a different version of the story.
	And then maybe a third version of the story.
	Do you buy that one?
	How about that?
	All right, well, let's just move on to another event then.
	They're not buying any of these versions of the story.
	So they need to know if the lies that they're feeding... I started out the program talking about how they're lying about what President Trump said yesterday.
	Saying that he's calling all immigrants, animals, anybody outside this country, they're all a bunch of animals.
	No, he was responding to a specific question from a sheriff saying they don't allow us to do anything about these MS-13 gangs.
	What's going on with this?
	He goes, yeah, those people are animals.
	And he said that nine times, talking about how brutal they are, hacking people to death.
	They don't just shoot them.
	They make sure the people die very slowly.
	Just like some of the other drug cartel gangs in Mexico that like to skin people alive or put them in vats of acid and so forth.
	Yeah, they are animals.
	But they will spin this narrative and they want to know if you're buying that or not.
	And then they'll double down on it.
	Or they'll change the story.
	As I say, building on the ledger idea, Google would, in theory, according to the video, they would prompt users to select a life goal.
	And then we will help you.
	To help yourself.
	If you tell us a little bit about you for our files.
	The examples that they gave, they said, well, this would reflect Google's values as an organization.
	For example, they would urge you to select when you're making your purchasing products, purchases, when you're purchasing products, they would say, well, why don't you get something that's more environmentally friendly?
	Or something from one of our sponsors or whatever.
	Yeah, they're pushing their political goals.
	And the political goals aren't simply going to be about recycling.
	It's going to be things about gun control.
	It's going to be things like open borders and the other goals of the globalist elite.
	That is what they're really pushing.
	And we look at what the Pentagon is doing.
	The Defense Department is now funding a project that officials say could revolutionize the way companies and federal agencies and military itself verify that people are who they say they are.

There was information that was coming out about the Texas Santa Fe High School shooting. It's near to Galveston and earlier we had just heard that there was
	information that there was a shooting there. Now we have had the police department there say that there are multiple fatalities, eight confirmed dead at the shooting. There has been information that a shotgun was involved, so we're waiting to get information about that. But actually we have Council Ned is going to be now joining us at this point in time.
	He's an Archbishop.
	He has served as the Rector of St.
	Albans Anglican Church in Pine Grove Mills, Pennsylvania.
	He is co-chair of the Project 21 Black Leadership Network, and he is also a Pennsylvania State Constable.

	Thanks for having me on.
	Your comments on what's going on here and what needs to be done.
	Well, what happens in an investigation like this, but in your viewpoint, what needs to be done to protect schools?
	Because we've had a couple of these attempted school shootings that have been shut down in just the last week.
	This apparently was one that got away from the people there if they in fact did have officers on the scene.
	Well, I think probably the best... There's several things that communities and schools can do to ensure the safety of the people who are there.
	And, you know, one of the big things is officer training.
	The old paradigm was that if there were an active shooter situation, the first responding police officer would set a perimeter and wait for the SWAT team to show up.
	But now, through programs like through the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, And I've gone through this active shooter program, but they train the officers to go in and subdue the shooter immediately.
	And that's what we saw earlier this week, as opposed to the pattern of behavior that we saw at the Parkland High School shooting, where the officer stayed back.
	It's very important that they go in and engage the individual immediately.
	Nobody was hurt when the officer did that earlier this week, unlike Parkland.
	Exactly.
	And so, you know, while there's things that officers need to do to make sure that they're current and know the most recent training on how to deal with these situations, but there's also programs in place for schools, whether it's a lockdown, whether it's a lockout, but there are things that can be taught to schools across the country to sort of minimize the loss of life and to help the first responders get there and subdue and deal with the shooter.
	And you know, when we look at this, what is your opinion in terms of having teachers armed to be able to protect the students?
	You know, vetted and trained, just like law enforcement, but also carrying concealed so that nobody knows who is carrying weapons there.
	Well, I personally think it's a good idea because, you know, as I've said repeatedly, it's not the job of the police to provide personal protection for each individual.
	And so, you know, there are lots of places around, throughout America that are protected.
	You know, federal office buildings, courthouse, numerous other places.
	Why aren't the schools protected?
	Why aren't the most innocent in our communities protected in the same way that politicians are?
	Yeah, absolutely.
	And, you know, we have seen this.
	I don't know if you saw the scene that came out of Brazil.
	There was an off-duty police officer there, female.
	I think she was in her 40s.
	It was a 20-something year old guy who had a pistol drawn on people.
	It was a bunch of mothers, for the most part, and their children coming out of a school One of the mothers was a off-duty police officer.
	She had a pistol in her purse and she knew how to use it.
	She pulled it out and opened fire on the guy and took him into custody.
	Basically, he eventually died from the wound.
	She shot him a couple of times.
	He tried to shoot back, but he was unable to do it.
	But it was a perfect example of how effective it can be to have somebody who is vetted and trained and not identified as a police officer because they're not in their uniform protecting people at a school from a guy with a gun.
	Yeah, no, I'm familiar with that video.
	I've seen it multiple times.
	You know, she prevented a tragedy on that particular day, and she was to be applauded.
	Yes, yes.
	And when we look at this, you know, this goes back, the whole concept of making schools gun-free zones, that goes back to a bipartisan effort from Joe Biden and George H.W.
	Bush, and they passed that Gun-Free School Zone Act back in the 90s.
	And yet, even though that was on the books in Washington, we had here in Texas and other places, we had local jurisdictions come in and say, no, we're going to protect our schools.
	So, in spite of the fact that there's some federal law that I don't think stands up to the Constitution, you had the local sheriffs and the local school board saying, we're going to vet teachers, the ones who want to do this, we will check them out psychologically and so forth, and then we will train them, and they will be able to carry weapons without any identification.
	You know, without any uniform so that any people who are up to something won't know who is carrying weapons and who isn't.
	And they've been doing that in a lot of Texas jurisdictions for quite some time, for about 10 years.
	Yeah, in the age that we're living in, I think it's very difficult to justify not having people on site who can protect not just themselves, but protect the students, protect the innocent among us.
	Yes, yes.
	You know, as we have this story breaking, we had a story that came out just yesterday out of Memphis, Tennessee.
	This is another shooting.
	This is a father and a daughter.
	They go to McDonald's and all of a sudden he's got five guys who jump him.
	They're choking him.
	He's getting hit in the face.
	He's got his daughter in his arms.
	Had her all the time.
	And so this 21-year-old father is able to put his girl and toss her into the back of the car and grab for a gun that he had in the car.
	And he was able to fight these guys off and defend his life and his daughter's life.
	He shot a couple of them in the leg.
	They fled away.
	But you know, when we look at the situation and what is going to follow in this school shooting in Houston, it's important to remember That good people with guns need to be able to defend themselves and their families.
	And that's exactly what this father did in Memphis, Tennessee.
	Yeah, there are lots of cravenly and cowardly people out there who are specifically seeking to prey on those who can't defend themselves.
	We've got a constitutional right to defend ourselves and to protect ourselves.
	Whether our local governments recognize it or not, that's one thing.
	But the fact is, we've got a constitutional right and we have an obligation to protect ourselves.
	And especially in this situation that you just mentioned, the guy had a small child with him.
	One, children shouldn't be subjected to that.
	Children don't need to see that.
	But two, who knows what would have happened next?
	But the fact is, you know, he was able to fend off his attackers and protect his daughter.
	You know, that's what we need to be able to... that's what we simply need to be able to do.
	And that's what people don't see when they look at these shootings in the schools.
	They don't want to talk about measures that they could take to make the students safer, whether that is having armed teachers or whether it's having security perimeters at the place.
	They don't want you to talk about that.
	They want to just ban guns so that people like this father aren't going to be able to protect themselves.
	When we come back, I want to talk to you about your perspective on law enforcement because you're coming at this after having been an archbishop and so forth and you've talked about how you feel like it is a vocation and also you have some interesting ideas about where you would like to see policing taken.
	A different way of interacting with the community.
	I think it's very important that we always be reforming our human institutions.
	We need to take a look at what their mission is.
	We need to take a look at the way that they interact with the public.
	And we're going to talk to Councilman Ned when we come back about his vision for that.

	And now, covering the ongoing fight for the heart and soul of America, broadcasting from deep in the heart of Texas, it's David Knight.
	you Welcome back, I'm David Knight and we're talking to Archbishop Council Ned, who is also a Pennsylvania State Constable.
	He's had an interesting journey, his life.
	He's co-chair of the Project 21 Black Leadership Network.
	And in an op-ed piece that he wrote for the Daily Caller, he said it took him nearly five decades to realize his lifelong calling that law enforcement had on him.
	He said, at 46 years old, I became the oldest rookie officer anybody could remember.
	I was once a congressional aide.
	I was also a teacher.
	At the late age of 29, I became a seminarian, and while I spread peace through my church congregation, I now also serve warrants and perform peacekeeping duties as a Pennsylvania State Constable.
	And so, he talks about police work, and he has a very different take on it, I think, that needs to be heard.
	Because, you know, Archbishop Ned, or I don't know if we call you Constable Ned, which one?
	You call me Council.
	Okay.
	Well, Counsel, what we have seen with some other cases, your case reminds me in terms of the things that you're talking about, a reduced police role in regulatory enforcement, increased training to recognize autism and other cognitive disabilities because we've had a lot of tragedies with the police not recognizing what somebody is, that they have cognitive disabilities, and executing people because of that.
	But also building stronger bonds within the community.
	All this type of thing is something that I saw in somebody else who became a police whistleblower in New York City.
	A guy by the name of Adrian Schoolcraft.
	His dad was a police officer and he really felt a calling towards being a police officer.
	And he didn't want to get involved in all this regulatory enforcement.
	He wanted to walk a beat in New York.
	And that's really the way that we used to see the police.
	They would be in a community and they would get to know the community there.
	So talk to us a little bit about your vision of a reduced police role and regulatory enforcement.
	Well, so, you know, we've seen lots of instances throughout America where essentially there are lots of federal agencies now that have decided that they need their own law enforcement arm.
	And so, you know, the Department of Education's got a SWAT team.
	Yes, they do.
	But, you know, we've seen in increased instances around the country of, you know, whether you're talking about something going on in inner city Washington, D.C.
	or whether you talk about something going on with cow ranchers in the West, you know, there's a there's a number of people who, for whatever reason, feel disenfranchised.
	And then so you pile regulations on and you put throw law enforcement into this situation where they're not Keeping the peace, or protecting communities, or doing some of these other things, but they're enforcing regulations, you're creating a hostile environment.
	There have been numerous instances, and I could probably name a dozen, where The federal government, some sort of agents of the federal government, who happen to be law enforcement, came in and, you know, they might have exacerbated the situation, whereas a simple phone call to the local sheriff could have gotten the same result without a loss of life and without engendering ill will.
	Oh yeah, we saw that.
	That was a good example.
	That would be Waco.
	Or also what happened with the Bundy Ranch.
	You had even people who were at the same level as Dan Love, who was the special agent in charge there, in a different adjacent jurisdiction said, what is he doing?
	He's escalating this.
	It doesn't make any sense what he's doing here.
	And we had the BATF do that at Waco.
	When a sheriff had had multiple interactions with the people there and could have gone out there, served a warrant, they'd had situations like that, they'd gone to court, they'd been found not guilty, but they showed up in a massive show of force and things just blew up.
	Yeah, you know, one of the things that they teach all law enforcement officers is de-escalation training.
	And you know, sometimes you get sort of caught up in this loop where things keep getting ramped up, ramped up, ramped up, but then the next officer on the scene comes down and, you know, he can deescalate the situation.
	You know, I can think of an instance in my mind that just happened really recently where, you know, I had a hostile guy in front of me, the backup showed up, and I don't mind looking like the bad guy if it's going to de-escalate the situation.
	So he said, you know, he de-escalated the situation by making me look like the bad guy.
	I didn't take it personally.
	I wanted the situation de-escalated, but he and I were having this issue and he wasn't backing down and I was just trying to get the job done.
	But, you know, the fact is de-escalation should be the first tool.
	If there's an easy way to handle something, go the easy route.
	And, you know, and it ultimately comes back to treating people the way that you want to be treated.
	That's really the important point.
	You know, when I look at the case of Adrian Schoolcraft, he was working in the New York Police Department.
	He put a bug on himself to record conversations because he couldn't believe what they were being told at the time.
	They were being told to go out and just round people up and we'll figure out what the charges are later on.
	And they would go around and they would harass people for petty regulatory violations.
	If they had barbers who were smoking in their barbershop, they would hand them a ticket.
	If they stood outside their barbershop and smoked, they would hand them a ticket, not for smoking, but for loitering on the sidewalk.
	And he said, I don't want to do this.
	And they said, all right, you don't want to do this, you're going to walk a beat.
	And he said, great, that's what I want to do.
	He didn't want to hand out tickets for petty regulatory violations to make money for the city jurisdiction like they wanted him to.
	He wanted to be there to help the community when there was violent crime and things like that.
	To actually get to know the people on his beat and to be able to help them.
	And that's really what policing should be.
	You know, I realize now that, relatively speaking, cars are a lot cheaper than they were, say, 50 or 60 years ago.
	But, you know, the fact is, you know, officers need to get out of their cars.
	They need to learn to know the people in the community.
	They need to meet the parents and meet the little kids.
	And when the kids start to get older and get into the teenage years, there's actually a relationship and a bond between, you know, these individuals and the officer, because, you know, it's It's hard to be mean to somebody that you've known and have a cordial relationship with for 10, 15, 20 years.
	And you know, that's a lot of what's been lost in policing.
	You know, one of our recommendations in our blueprint for Our blueprint for a better America is, you know, inviting police officers to your church.
	Have them come on Sundays in uniform.
	Spend some time there.
	That way there's a police presence in the church.
	They're getting to know the people in that church and in that community.
	And, you know, it engenders goodwill, but then also it provides a greater modicum of security.
	Because as we've seen with some of the church shootings, You know, a lot of the megachurches have police officers there, armed security, magnetometers, and all those sorts of things, but that's cost prohibitive for most churches across the United States.
	But, you know, inviting the police officers in to spend time and worship and get to know people, I mean, there are lots of simple things that you can do to improve relationships between police and any community.
	You know, when you're talking about the fact that it's easy for them to put police in cars and just have them drive around, at that point you don't have any relationship with the community.
	And all you're seeing are vehicle violations.
	You know, that's basically all they're responding to.
	And so they're not there if there's some kind of violent crime or to deter a threat from violent crime.
	They don't know who the people that live in that community are, so they recognize if there's somebody who is a problem, who might be suspicious.
	You know, they know all the shop owners.
	They know the people who are there in the shops.
	And so that has really changed things.
	I remember when I went to England about 40 years ago and and how friendly the Bobbies were who were unarmed and they were walking around or they were on Bicycles, but typically they were just walking around and when I went back about 20 years after that They had started adopting the American model and so they were carrying guns and they were riding in cars Predominantly and it really did change things in London Yeah, you know, when you're in a situation where you're forced to be cordial, you have to be cordial.
	You don't want to, you know, the situation with the Bobbies, they don't have, they weren't carrying weapons at the time.
	So, what had to happen?
	They needed to be more cordial, they needed to de-escalate situations rather than trying to increase tensions, and you use a lot more tools.
	You use whatever tools are at your arsenal, whatever you have at your disposal.
	And if you're not carrying a weapon, then yes, you need to be more cordial, but I would argue that We all have an obligation, all law enforcement, no matter who they are, to be cordial and literally treat people the way you want to be treated.
	You know, I think a lot of this, too, comes down to training, and we're going to take a break here, but when we come back, I want to talk to you a little bit about where some of the rapid changes that we've seen in policing are coming from.
	Because, you know, we've seen a move in the opposite direction.
	We've seen military equipment being given to police departments, and we've also seen militarized training being given to police departments.
	As a matter of fact, The New Mexico State Police Academy, one of the officers that have been training for decades, said, I'm not going to teach this curriculum.
	It is a shoot first curriculum.

	Alright, so that was President Trump speaking about the recent school shooting that was close to a town close to Galveston here in Texas.
	Again, what he is saying is this has been going on for too long now, that his administration will be getting involved in protecting schools.
	Frankly, I don't think that this has been going on for a very long time.
	I think this is relatively new development, and I think we need to ask why it is in America that we're now having so many school shootings.
	When I was growing up, Councilman Ed, we didn't have that kind of thing.
	So something has changed about the people.
	We had firearms that were being carried into high schools when I was in high school.
	You could go there, you could take your firearm as part of various classes that might be It might be a military, pre-military training, or it might be something else.
	You could take your gun with you on the school bus to class.
	Why is it that we're having these kinds of shootings now?
	I don't necessarily, I understand that President Trump needs to and should offer his sympathy here, but I don't think that this is something that Washington has a solution for.
	As a matter of fact, it was Washington that gave us the gun-free zones.
	It was local communities that gave us the armed teachers to protect our schools.
	Yeah, one of the high schools I went to actually had a rifle range in the basement.
	And, you know, I've got parishioners who used to carry their guns to church because they'd leave school, or carry their guns to school because they'd leave school and then go hunting immediately after.
	That's right, with ROTC they didn't just carry wooden guns, they actually were able to train and shoot with guns.
	Yeah, exactly.
	You know, I think that a lot of what we're seeing now is essentially copycats.
	A lot of, you know, And they get a lot of attention, don't they?
	Boy, I tell you, they become celebrities, you know, overnight and I think that really is something that's the media that is really kind of feeding this a lot.
	But yes, but also it's important to note now that law enforcement's making a point of and encouraging the media to not to name the names of these shooters.
	Let these people die in obscurity for the horrible crimes that they've committed on our most innocent people in our communities.
	Don't name these shooters on the news.
	We don't want to feed into what they want.
	Their desired outcome is to be all over the news and have everybody in America know their name.
	I'm not playing that game, and I hope the media doesn't play that game.
	I agree with you.
	I really like what you've got here in your blueprint.
	It's called Blueprint for a Better Deal for Black America, because you're part of Project 21.
	But you know what?
	This is a blueprint for a better America regardless.
	One of the first things you've got on here in terms of your specific proposals and police enforcement of regulations such as smoking bans and children's lemonade stands.
	I can tell you, Counsel, that when I was back in North Carolina on a snow day, we had a dead-end cul-de-sac that had a hill on it and kids were out there sledding and their parents were standing there in the streets watching them and everything and there wasn't any problem with that but then the local police force came up and started bossing everybody around Threatening to arrest the parents and everything.
	The parents had blocked off the street.
	There wasn't anything there.
	And there wasn't any race issue there.
	I mean, everybody that was there was white in this neighborhood, and the police officers are white.
	And it ended up, it was reported in the local paper, that the neighborhood parents and kids started throwing snowballs at the police officers.
	I mean, that's how this thing broke down, because they were just intruding in themselves, kind of like in a children's lemonade stand.
	I mean, we've seen that type of thing too much.
	Yeah, exactly.
	I mean, again, that's local regulations run amok.
	And, you know, I don't fault the police officers because they're doing the job, but also, you know, maybe the kids shouldn't be throwing snowballs at the police officers.
	But, you know, in, you know, sort of the real world in the America that I'd like to see, you know, maybe the police officers would have just ended up in a snowball fight with the little kids.
	And that would have engendered a lot of goodwill in that community.
	That's right.
	That's right.
	And one of the things that you're talking about, and you alluded to this briefly earlier, Was the idea that we've got so many of these regulatory agencies, it can be the EPA, it can be the IRS, it can be, as I pointed out, the Department of Education.
	It was a couple of years ago, actually maybe longer than that, it was before I came here to InfoWars, they had a situation where a family was drug out And the wee hours of the morning out of their house because the Department of Education was looking for a deadbeat mother who hadn't paid her student loans.
	And she had abandoned the family as well, but they drugged the husband and the kids out, had them face down on the ground with a no-knock SWAT team raid.
	And everybody's asking, how in the world does this happen with the Department of Education?
	It's absolutely insane.
	A lot of our problems are coming from this militarization of these bureaucracies.
	A lot of our problems are coming from Washington, not our solutions.
	Yeah, I mean, my gut instinct is that there was maybe a lot more to that situation than that.
	But if there weren't more to that situation than the one you just laid out, why couldn't that be served as a daytime warrant?
	Why couldn't you just walk up to the, you know, during normal hours and, you know... And why do we have a Department of Education with a SWAT team in the first place?
	You know, I mean, can't that be handled better by local law enforcement?
	Precisely.
	Because I know the local officers, the sheriff's officer, whomever, probably knows that family.
	They deal with them on a regular basis and can probably get you more intelligence than this no-knock warrant where you're literally swatting the entire family in the middle of the night.
	And that's one of the articles that you have as part of your Better Deal for America here.
	You've got prevent swatting to remove the threat of civilians incurring physical harm and property damage when police departments are pranked into mistakenly dispatching tactical units when no threat exists.
	I mean, part of this is our over-reliance on no-knock raids that have come about in recent years.
	It's really exploded.
	You know, there have been an increased number.
	And, you know, again, I understand, I obviously understand the concern for officer safety.
	I've been involved in several instances over the last 18 months that, you know, I wish I hadn't been involved in.
	But, you know, officer safety is a concern, but then also common sense should probably rule the day in a lot of these instances.
	And, you know, that story you just were telling about the Department of Education SWAT team, I don't think it had to go down that way without knowing any of the specifics.
	There's probably a half dozen other ways that could have been handled.
	Yeah, you know, when we look at the way that things are evolving, as we're going to break in the last segment, it was that case a couple years ago that was outside of, it was in New Mexico, and it was just outside of Albuquerque, up in the hills, and they had a homeless man that was up there, and there was a long-time encounter with him and the police, and he was mentally disturbed, and they wound up executing him.
	And a lot of people were very concerned about the way that went down, and then it wasn't very long after that, that at the New Mexico State Police Academy, you had a guy who was a veteran instructor there, and he said, I'm resigning because I don't want to teach this new curriculum that is coming out of Washington.
	He said, it's a shoot first curriculum.
	And he said, that's not the way that we've always taught policing.
	So something is fundamentally being changed, and it is changing from Washington, I think.
	Yeah, so there are situations where you need to be able to shoot first.
	Like I said, you know, the old paradigm when there was an active shooter situation was to set a perimeter, wait for SWAT to go in.
	But now, again, officers need to be trained in this day and age to go in and actually deal with the problem themselves.
	Because, you know, as we saw in Columbine and Sandy Hook, you know, waiting 20, 25 minutes for the SWAT team to mobilize and get on scene, you know, countless lives can be lost.
	But, you know, again, that sort of training, in my opinion, is just one of the many tools that law enforcement officers have at their disposal.
	You know, I don't think they're going to be employed all the time under every circumstance, but again, it's another tool in your arsenal.
	And, you know, training is sort of the backbone of everything that law enforcement officers do.
	And so you've got that kind of training, but also, again, de-escalation training.
	I'm learning to deal with people with mental illnesses and mental deficiencies.
	You know, I just literally came back from a training on that just last month.
	But, you know, when I look at this program, I think you've got a really good program here, this blueprint for a better deal for black America.
	I think that's a better deal for America, as I said, of any color.
	And I would encourage people to look at this because it's about more engagement with the local community.
	About keeping things local, about having the police actually partner with people to teach them how to defend themselves.
	We've seen Sheriff David Clark say the same thing.
	He said, look, we'll get there as soon as we can, but you need to understand you are the first responder and we will help you to provide that.
