	He's not sorry when snowflakes can't handle the truth.
	It's your host, David Knight.
	Well, we got a lot of updates over the weekend in terms of politics, in terms of the Mueller the double standard that we see in investigations, and Rudy Giuliani trying to walk back some damage that he may have done to President Trump.
	I guess when we look at some of the things that he said, we have to say, who needs prosecutors when you get defense attorneys making wild statements like that?
	But we're going to take a look at some of that.
	But more importantly, we're going to take a look at where your rights are.
	We're going to take a look at what happened at the NRA convention, some of the things that were said back and forth.
	We're going to look at the First Amendment being used to defend the Second Amendment.
	We're going to take a look at what President Trump said, making the case that the Democrats are going to take away your rights.
	Of course, he's right about that.
	There's no question about that.
	We're also going to take a look at the clip that we're going to play on Friday.
	We were unable to play some clips on Friday because we lost partial power here.
	We still had radio broadcasts, but we didn't have visual broadcasts with the ability to play clips.
	It was kind of, I guess, a test of our emergency broadcast system.
	We're going to up that game.
	But we're going to play what Alan Dershowitz said about the current state of the left.
	And it's appropriate to take a look at this because Friday...
	It was the 48th anniversary of the shooting at Kent State.
	Remember that time when the left used to be anti-war and pro-civil liberty?
	Not anymore. Not anymore.
	They're far more critical of civil liberty than the right is now, unfortunately.
	It isn't that the right has gotten much better.
	It's that the left has gotten much worse.
	And the same thing can be said about war.
	These are people who are constantly pushing for war, just like many in the Republican Party.
	So we're going to take a look at that. We're going to take a look at the status of Gina Haspel.
	She is now in the sights again.
	On Friday, it looked as though she was going to remove her name from nomination for CIA director because of her involvement in CIA torture.
	And we're going to talk about that again.
	Because, you know, there's a letter out there, 109 former generals and admirals making the case that we don't want to have this.
	We'll talk about the efficacy of it.
	We'll talk about the morality of it.
	We'll talk about the legality of it.
	Is it just that she was tough on terrorists, as President Trump said?
	I don't think it's that simple.
	I think that when we look at what happens with terrorism, it isn't...
	I understand that if we label somebody as a terrorist, that we want to punish them, and we should.
	No question about it.
	We should stop their plans.
	But a lot of these generals and admirals who signed this letter, many of them were very concerned about the fact that intelligence, quote-unquote, intelligence that was obtained by the means of torture was used to take us into Iraq falsely.
	When we look at the charges that got us into Iraq, the charges of weapons of mass destruction and other things, it wasn't just politicians.
	Like George Bush and Benjamin Netanyahu who were lying to us, or Secretary of State Colin Powell, or the CIA people who were there.
	It wasn't just them. It was also part of those lies were also part of the intelligence, the faulty intelligence that was obtained and underscored, getting the answers that they wanted from people that they were torturing.
	As many people who have been there and have pointed out the fact, you can get somebody to say anything you want to make the torture stop.
	So we're going to take a look at all that.
	We're going to take a look at the economy because it looks as though within the next five days or so, by the end of the week, that is the deadline that President Trump has imposed, self-imposed deadline.
	For determining whether we're going to stay in the Iran deal.
	It's looking as though we are not going to stay in that deal.
	So regardless of what you think, we're going to take a look at the backdoor diplomacy by former Secretary of State John Kerry trying to undermine the current administration.
	It seems like many in Washington don't believe that we had an election, doesn't it?
	People in the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, the State Department, they continue on with the policies of Barack Obama, just as they continue on with the policies, the immigration policies of Barack Obama and his Homeland Security Secretary.
	And they're joined by bureaucrats in the judicial system that say that, well, the memo from a former Homeland Security Secretary or even an executive order by President Obama cannot be undone by the current president or the current Homeland Secretary.
	And we're going to take a look at what's going to happen to the economy, possibly, if the sanctions come back from the Iran deal going away.

	To give you a feel for the current state of California, How the Marxists, the Antifa people are winning the culture war, the cultural Marxism in this country.
	We have George Washington University.
	It's now become a very leftist establishment government school.
	And, of course, George Washington University, named after George Washington, the general, now says that they've got the students there petitioning to get rid of the offensive mascot known as Colonials.
	And if you look at the picture, it's got GW and it looks like a cartoon character Colonial, kind of like a cartoon character George Washington.
	But that is offensive to these students at George Washington University.
	It tells you what they are being taught, doesn't it?
	More than 200 George Washington University students have signed a petition calling for the school to adopt a new mascot and a new nickname because the current moniker Colonials is, quote, extremely offensive to them.
	They said, quote, the historically negatively charged figure of Colonials has too deep a connection to colonialization and glorifies the act of systemic oppression.
	Yeah, that's what George Washington was about, wasn't it?
	Systemic oppression. That's what they want you to believe.
	This is a movement that has begun with Nikki Haley and her purge of all things American and historical, because she saw a Confederate flag in the background of a mass murderer.
	So therefore, everything must be purged.
	And we'll get to Nikki Haley and her Indian connections here in just a minute.
	The colonial mascot was adopted in 1926 to honor the school's namesake, George Washington, reports Fox News, and is intended as a reference to colonial America and to the Continental Army.
	Colonialists, terrorists, murderers, in a lot of places that is what colonials mean to people, said the Marxist students.
	That's exactly what they are.
	And so let me tell you a little bit about an article that came out over the weekend.
	I was going to talk about this even before this George Washington story came up.
	It was a great article by an individual who goes by the moniker Dr.
	D, reprinted in Zero Hedge, The Beginner's Guide to American Political Ironies.
	Let's talk a little bit about slavery because that's where they always like to focus, on the slavery.
	Let's give you a couple of ironic twists here.
	Who wrote, we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal?
	Thomas Jefferson, a slave owner.
	Who was one of the most ardent abolitionists?
	That'd be Alexander Hamilton, the guy who was celebrated on Broadway musicals.
	Was he a slave owner?
	Yes, he was. How about Martin Van Buren, a Democrat who created the first concentration camp for Cherokee Indians in 1838?
	And guess what? Those 17,000 Cherokees owned 2,000 slaves themselves.
	See, it's not always that simple, and it gets even more complicated.
	What was the Lincoln campaign of 1860?
	It was non-interference and state slavery.
	Remember those Lincoln-Douglas debates?
	Where Abraham Lincoln said things that were so provocative that he would be banned on Facebook, Twitter, everywhere else because what he said was wrong.
	What he said was wrong in terms, it was racist and it was in defense of slavery.
	That was Abraham Lincoln and the party platform, his campaign platform was non-interference in state slavery.
	Who was the best known confederate general?
	Stonewall Jackson, or you could say Robert E. Lee.
	Stonewall Jackson probably. What did he do when he sided with the Southern cause?
	He freed his slaves.
	Stonewall Jackson freed his slaves.
	Oh, and by the way, he also illegally had a Sunday school, he was a Sunday school teacher who also taught black people to read so they could read the Bible.
	That was Stonewall Jackson.
	So the stereotypes that we're fed by people like Nikki Haley don't really hold true in terms of slavery.
	Let's take a look at war.
	Let's take a look at some of the more political ironies of war.
	We had Woodrow Wilson.
	He ran as an anti-collectivism, limited government, anti-monopoly, anti-bank candidate in 1912.
	He created the Federal Reserve, however, and is known for founding the modern welfare state.
	He was re-elected on the slogan, he kept us out of war, and then he immediately forced us into World War I.
	As a matter of fact, it was Woodrow Wilson who prosecuted and successfully put in jail and hit with a massive fine a director who created a movie about the Revolutionary War.
	And he called it the spirit of 76.
	Woodrow Wilson felt that that was too critical of our British allies that he wanted to get into war.
	So he actually threw that director into jail and gave him a massive fine.
	The Supreme Court upheld that.
	Said that films had no First Amendment protection.
	And that held as a precedent until the 1950s.
	That's why the Supreme Court should not be the ultimate and final say of various laws.
	Also in war, we had FDR. Who campaigned against Hoover for being the greatest spending administration in peacetime of all of our history, but he outspent Hoover when he got elected by a factor of ten.
	Did Roosevelt's New Deal, the Great Stimulus, the spending program after that time, end the Great Depression?
	No, it was still going strong in 1939.
	What did Roosevelt campaign on to get re-elected?
	He campaigned to keep us out of war in Europe.
	And then finally, to just show that the media at least remains consistent.
	Who was Time Magazine's Man of the Year in 1938?
	Adolf Hitler. Who was Time Magazine's Man of the Year in 1939?
	Joseph Stalin. Who was Time Magazine's Man of the Year in 1942?
	Joseph Stalin.
	That's right. That's the media.
	That's the politicians on war and peace, promising peace, promising non-intervention, doing exactly the opposite so many times.
	And the fact that slavery is not so easily categorized into different political parties or regional differences...
	And when we look at where we're going in the future, there he is, Time Magazine, worshipping Joseph Stalin.
	As we look at the future, there is absolutely no understanding of the American public as to what the original design of this country was about.
	The people who created this country were concerned more than anything about stopping the consolidation of power in Washington.
	So they divided the federal government into three pieces.
	And then they divided power between the federal government, between the states, and between the people in another three pieces.
	And yet all of that has disappeared.
	Now we have a top-down system of government where everyone sees themselves as just being various power centers, not as being separate power centers.
	The 9th and 10th Amendment are laying there.
	They're still there. But for the most part, people are not using them, except when it comes to things like medical marijuana.
	Or marijuana in general.
	And we have some news coming up on that today as well.
	But it's also the Electoral College.
	All of the complaints from Hillary Clinton maintaining that she won the popular election, and of course many of us disagree with that.
	We questioned some of the electoral totals that were coming out of a few areas that were Democrat strongholds, whether or not those were legitimate or not.
	It has become a rallying cry for the Democrats to do away with the Electoral College.
	Why do we have the Electoral College?
	We have the Electoral College so that we don't have one or two urban centers where population is centered, controlling the rest of the country.
	We're pretty close to that already anyway, even with the Electoral College.
	The Electoral College says we're going to round off the vote state by state because, again, the states were to be a separate power base.
	But now we have Connecticut passing a bill to give electoral votes to presidential candidate that wins the popular vote.
	Connecticut State Senate Saturday voted in favor of a measure to give the state's electoral votes to the presidential candidate who wins the popular vote.
	They will become the 11th state to do that in addition to the District of Columbia.
	And it was passed in the Senate 21 to 14.
	The House has already passed it.
	The Democrat governor is expected to sign this.
	And what this is going to mean is that with these 11 states in the District of Columbia saying they're going to do this, they now have 172 electoral votes involved in that scheme to overturn the Electoral College.
	270 are needed to have a majority.
	And think about this. What it means, at the very least, is that in those states, they will overturn, possibly, the majority of the voters' choices in those states.
	There's other issues, of course, with Electoral College.

	We're finally on our own This summer I hear the drumming Four dead in Ohio Gotta get down to it Soldiers are cutting us down That's right, it was 48 years ago on Friday.
	We didn't have time to get to it on Friday's program.
	We got preempted with a little bit of technical difficulty.
	But it's been 48 years since Kent State.
	Four dead in Ohio.
	We can sing about it, but nobody is doing anything about it.
	48 years and nobody has faced any penalties for this.
	Had U.S. troops shooting dead student protesters.
	Remember when the left was anti-war?
	Remember when the left was pro-civil liberties and free speech?
	Not anymore. As a matter of fact, I got a clip from Alan Dershowitz wringing his hands on MSNBC. And then the MS about the lack of respect for civil liberties, how they have fallen in line with the police state worshiping the government.
	That's the left today. Alan Dershowitz says, what's the matter with you people?
	And as he's saying this, you can see as we play this clip, it's coming up here, the people at MSNBC are just shaking their heads like, I can't believe he's saying this.
	Because they have now embraced every aspect of statism.
	You know, it's kind of interesting when we go back and we look at history.
	I was just talking about Woodrow Wilson and how he campaigned one way.
	He was the guy who kept us out of war, but then he did everything he could to get us into war.
	As I point out, even jailing a filmmaker who made a film about the spirit of 76.
	And what Wilson did was he split the liberty movement at the time.
	Prior to that, if you called yourself a liberal, you were for economic liberty and you were for civil liberty.
	Because Wilson was pushing for war and because he had a lot of business interests who wanted to make money in the war.
	That was a big part of the budding military-industrial complex that constantly pushes for war.
	So because of those two things, you had the people who were anti-war start to look at this and start to make alliances with socialists and so forth.
	Furthermore, it was J. Edgar Hoover and the Palmer Raids that were a brutal violation of civil liberties that continued to push these two groups apart.
	So he had a fracturing of what we used to call the liberal movement, the classical liberal movement.
	It fractured into two parts.
	One part, the business interests would still look at economic liberty.
	The other people would look only at civil liberty as they moved towards the socialists in terms of economics and so forth.
	That was the fracturing, thanks to Woodrow Wilson, thanks to World War I and the way that he pushed us into that.
	But now, as we look at this, 48 years after Kent State, it seems as though the right is still hostile, still embracing a lot of these things that they were 48 years ago.
	The left has gotten far worse.
	Not embracing free speech, civil liberty, or anything.
	Not protesting wars.
	They're fine with all of that stuff.
	They're fine with a military-industrial complex.
	All those politicians have been bought up, and the people who follow these little clubs, it's almost like they're following a soccer club in the UK, or a football club, they call it there, or following their team sports here.
	If the guys at the top say, yeah, this is what we're going to do, they just all fall into line and do whatever anybody says.
	Let's go back to Kent State for just a moment before we get into some of this other stuff here.
	As I point out, it was May 4th, the anniversary was last Friday, May 4th, 1970, when Kent State happened.
	However, no group or individual has ever faced a single consequence for opening fire on innocent students and killing them.
	Although eight of the National Guardsmen Who opened fire that day were indicted by a grand jury.
	All of the charges were eventually dismissed.
	The families of the victims were given $15,000, a statement of regret, and essentially told, get on with your life.
	Counterpunch pointed out the U.S. government took complete control of the narrative in the press.
	Oh, where have we seen that before?
	And of ensuing lawsuits.
	Over the next 10 years, authorities claimed there had not been a command to fire at Kent State.
	And that the Ohio National Guard had been under attack and that their gunfire had been prompted by the sound of sniper fire.
	American leadership obstructed justice, obscured accountability, tampered with evidence, buried the truth.
	The result of these efforts has been a very complicated government cover-up that has remained intact for more than 40 years, reports DC Clothesline.
	And then they also say a crucial piece of the conspiracy.
	Hey, folks, this was a conspiracy, isn't it?
	When the government obstructs justice like this and the murder of four individuals...
	Why isn't the left interested in this?
	This is a real crime.
	People really died.
	People who were in agreement with them on policy issues.
	And this is real obstruction of justice they could take a look at.
	The crucial piece of this conspiracy to obstruct justice was apparently uncovered in 2010.
	It played a pivotal role in exposing crimes to the U.S. government.
	Audio recordings were analyzed and subsequently found to record the guardsmen being given orders to murder the protesters.
	And yet today, we have Alan Dershowitz, let's start playing a little bit of this clip, going off on MSNBC, saying, why do you people So, fall in line to the government.
	He says, you understand, as the founders did, don't you?
	That the government, whether we're talking about judges, or we're talking about prosecutors, or we're talking about the police, or we're talking about anybody in government.
	Government is made up of people.
	They can be wrong, they can be corrupted.
	Here's Alan Dershowitz on MSNBC. And we should use means that are proportionate to the serious crime.
	Of course, I don't know what was in the warrant.
	And of course, I don't know what they're looking for.
	But it's the role of the civil libertarian to be skeptical and not to trust judges and not to trust prosecutors.
	If men were angels, as Madison wrote, we wouldn't need a constitution.
	We need a constitution because we as Americans don't trust authority.
	And we as liberal Democrats used to not trust law enforcement.
	Now it's the conservative Republicans that don't trust law enforcement and the liberal Democrats that are all saying, we trust law enforcement completely.
	The statutes are in place.
	The rules are in place. These rules are only as good as the people who enforce them and only as good as the motives of the people.
	I have to tell you, I do not trust the government.
	I do not trust judges.
	I do not trust prosecutors when they are zealously seeking to go after a particular target, in this case, Donald Trump.
	Nobody would have been going after Michael Cohen, if he weren't Donald Trump's lawyer, that's the reality.
	People don't investigate campaign contribution lapses or campaign law violations generally about people who aren't in the public light.
	And I just worry that when you have somebody with a target on his or her back, whether it's Hillary Clinton who could have been elected and the same thing would have been happening to her, or Donald Trump, That civil libertarians ought to express concern.
	That's all I'm doing is expressing concern and distrust of government.
	I don't want to live in a surveillance state.
	Now watch what this guy does from MSNBC. They can't stand us.
	Shaking his head. You're misrepresenting one thing.
	Which is you're assuming this is a campaign finance violation that is the reason why we're here.
	But this wiretap required criminal conversations within recent months long after the campaign ended.
	So you have to assume that there are other crimes that are being investigated that give rise to the wiretap.
	And I can't respond to the rest of what you're saying because you're basically just saying that our criminal justice system is completely defunct and decrepit and should not be adhered to.
	And there's no response to that.
	If you don't trust judges, if you don't trust...
	Okay, hold it right there. We've got to go to break.
	You hear that? See, if you criticize the government, you're just saying the whole justice system doesn't work.
	No? We're saying that it is composed of individuals.
	And when those individuals have an agenda to go after the man, bring me the man and I'll find the crime.
	As a matter of fact, Dershowitz later on even quotes that from the Stalin regime.
	That's what we've got. And subsequent to him saying that, we had a judge slap down more as well.

	I was just playing for you in the last segment.
	Alan Dershowitz taking MSNBC to task, saying, I don't trust the government because it's made up of people.
	And quoting the founders, Madison, saying, if we were angels, we wouldn't need government.
	But because men are not angels, we have to be careful about what the government does.
	Now, in the context of what Dershowitz was talking about, he was talking about the government doing a prosecution of President Trump because of who he is.
	It's a political persecution that's going on.
	Clearly, the right can see this.
	And this is why he says the right is starting to get skeptical of this.
	But the left is loving it because it's not their guy.
	And I hope that we can maintain this understanding of what is going on.
	I hope that some politicians can see what's happening, because they're the ones who are truly in the crosshairs.
	They will be the first ones up against the wall, as we see with President Trump right now.
	And yet there is no movement to push back the fundamental abuses of the intelligence community.
	You know, as I pointed out in the last segment, we had Woodrow Wilson essentially divide the liberty movement into people who supported economic freedom.
	But not, you know, they were the pro-war people.
	And then the people who were anti-war and forced civil liberties because they saw the abuses of J. Edgar Hoover and the Palmer Raids and so forth.
	So they became strong supporters of civil liberty.
	But then they hated the business interests, the military-industrial complex.
	They pushed them towards a socialist in terms of their...
	Their disdain for economic freedom.
	You know, when the founders of the Libertarian Party, Nolan, came up with a Nolan chart.
	And in it, he asked people basically ten questions.
	Ten questions on economic freedom, ten questions on civil liberties.
	And then would plot where you were.
	If you didn't agree with any economic or civil liberties issues, you'd get down there at the bottom in the authoritarian, you know, zero, zero.
	They rotate that 45 degrees, so you wind up with your left and right quadrants there for people who...
	Like that left-right situation.
	But you find that people like Stalin and Hitler, who were loved by Time magazine, they both wind up down there in the authoritarian quadrant because they don't want you to have any kind of freedom.
	But the question is, today when we look at this, Do we have any Democrats who support civil liberties?
	Do we have any Republicans who support economic liberties, really?
	I mean, when you can go in under the war on drugs and you can take away anybody's property without even charging them with a crime, let alone finding them guilty, do you really have any respect for private property, for economic liberty, if you can do that sort of thing?
	And that's just one example.
	We can come up with many of those.
	And when the Democrats support this police state because it is for their own political good.
	That's what Dershowitz has taken a very important stance and a good principled stance on this to say we do not want to criminalize our political differences.
	And that's what we're doing. And as we criminalize those political differences, we're throwing away the last shreds of the Bill of Rights in doing this.
	Which brings us to the NSA. The NSA, as we have both Democrats and Republicans, saying, yeah, we're going to let the NSA do whatever it wants.
	You know, because 9-11.
	They can do anything.
	Anybody. But of course they were doing this a long time ago.
	That's why we had the FISA court in the first place.
	Because we already had the NSA and the CIA spying on American citizens illegally, unconstitutionally in the 1960s.
	So in the 1970s they said we're going to make it clear that they can't do that except in foreign countries and against foreign citizens.
	Not even in Americans in foreign countries without a search warrant.
	And instead what we've had is the FISA court Turning into an enabling mechanism for domestic spying.
	And what we see now is that this last year, the NSA has tripled its collection of U.S. phone records.
	It's gone up to 534 million from 151 million the previous year.
	And this is now the second full year of the system that was passed after we had that reform.
	Remember when we had the reform? The USA Freedom Act.
	I called BS on that when it first came out.
	I said this is exactly what's going to happen.
	All they did was expand the powers to do this.
	And they told you that it was a reform.
	It wasn't a reform. So U.S. lawmakers passed back in 2015.
	The USA Freedom Act, they were going to limit the ability to collect such records in bulk, but instead they have tripled in the second year of its implementation.
	That's the way these things go.
	And then to give you an example, just happened a couple of months ago.
	We had Devin Nunes and the House Intelligence Committee holding back the political abuses against their own party, against President Trump and against other Republicans.
	Holding back those abuses until they could pass a reauthorization of this kind of spying and loosen the restrictions on that.
	Those are Republicans. And no Democrats complained about that either.
	So you have both the Democrats and the Republicans throwing us under the bus in terms of this.
	There's one or two Republicans or Democrats who have a problem with this.
	Rand Paul, Ron Wyden, don't like this aspect of it.
	But other than that, the vast majority, the Republicans, even the conservative Republicans, the Freedom Caucus people for the most part, people like Devin Nunes, they are there.
	To push the surveillance state further and further.
	Again, three times the amount that they had picked up the previous year.
	And they point out, as they talk about this, well, the content of the calls itself is not collected.
	It's just the metadata that's supposedly anonymous, but it can easily be used to identify an individual.
	Of course it can. That's why they're doing it.
	But they're also interested in the hive mind, as I always point out to you.
	You know, it was the pen numbers that they collected back in the 1960s.
	They took it to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court, as they frequently are, was wrong on this, just as they were wrong to throw a filmmaker in jail for making a movie about the spirit of 1776, back during the Woodrow Wilson administration, when he was trying to get us into war on the side of the British.
	No, no, we can't do that. Throw the filmmaker in jail.
	And now they tell us, even though we know better, That these PIN numbers, that this metadata, oh, that's nothing personal.
	Nothing personal. We're just doing it for national security, right?
	The numbers show that the scale of warrantless surveillance is growing at a significant rate, but the ODNI still won't tell Americans how much it affects them.
	That's the Senior Counsel of the Project on Government Oversight.
	I'm telling you how much it'll affect you.
	And I'm telling you that the politicians who refused to enact the Bill of Rights to bring it back, and we're going to talk about that when we get to the NRA segment, one of the students who has started the walkout last week in support of the Second Amendment, Government can violate your rights, but they can't take them away.
	See, we still have these rights.
	Even if they were to, say, we repeal the Second Amendment, all that does is repeal our government's acknowledgement of fundamental rights that were given to us, inalienable rights that were given to us by God.
	And that just means that this government is illegitimate.
	But when they take away our privacy, as they do in so many ways, and as they turn against the administration, I just want to remind you again what Michael Hayden said.
	This is not about protecting you from criminals.
	It is not about protecting you from terrorists.
	It's about going after interesting people.
	Here's Michael Hayden one more time.
	This is not about guilt.
	In fact, let me be really clear.
	NSA doesn't just listen to bad people.
	NSA listens to interesting people.
	That's right. It's not about guilt.
	It's not about people who are committing crimes.
	It's about interesting people.
	People like President Trump.
	Politicians that they don't like.
	Politicians that get in the way of the military-industrial complex.
	And now we have that same Michael Hayden, former CIA director, former NSA director, has said in a new interview that he would advise people against working for the Trump administration.
	Because that would make you an interesting person to the deep state.
	He said the longer they were in the administration, the more their personal credentials are being threatened.
	Hmm. Oh, how does that mean that they're objects of investigation because they're interesting people working in the Trump administration?
	He said at what point do you stop being a guardrail and become an enabler and a legitimizer?
	And I would ask Michael Hayden, at what point do you stop becoming so-called law enforcement and become a traitor to our country?

	His new book, The Assault on Intelligence, American National Security in an Age of Lies.
	He says it's a critique of Trump.

	Alright, let's talk about the confirmation hearings for CIA Director and nominee Gina Haspel coming up Wednesday.
	And again, she was tied to the torture that happened within the CIA, the so-called enhanced interrogation, waterboard torturing.
	She went to the White House on Friday.
	President Trump was at the NRA meeting in Texas, in Dallas.
	She went there, essentially, to back down, and the White House begged her to stay.
	It was essentially some of the people there at the White House, White House staff, they got President Trump on and he also told her to stay.
	As the Seattle Times points out, Gina Haspel sought to withdraw over the questions about her role in terror interrogations on Friday.
	Some White House officials worried that her role in the interrogation of terrorist suspects could prevent her confirmation by the Senate, according to four senior U.S. officials.
	She told the White House that she was interested in stepping aside Let's air this out, folks.
	Let's talk about this. Let's talk about whether this is being tough on terrorism or whether it's a stupid policy in terms of its efficacy and whether or not it is morally and legally reprehensible.
	That needs to be aired out. I'm glad that she's staying in this.
	We need to have this discussion.
	And we need to see where these senators side on this issue.
	She was summoned, however, to the White House on Friday for a meeting.
	And at that point, she said, well, I'm going to get out.
	And taken aback by this, they said in the Seattle Times, had White House aides, including Legislative Affairs head Mark Short and Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, rushed To Langley, Virginia, to meet with her in her CIA office late Friday afternoon.
	Discussions stretched several hours.
	See, she doesn't really want to answer questions about her actions, and there's a good reason for that.
	But the White House, for some reason, is adamant to have her there.
	Now, this is a problem I've had with President Trump from the very beginning.
	I disagreed with him on this issue.
	I made it clear. We don't have to agree with the candidates on every single issue.
	And it clearly was Hillary Clinton didn't even rise to the level of consideration.
	Nevertheless, I think on certain issues we need to speak out if the candidate is wrong.
	Especially if they take a position on issue to get elected and then they change their position after they get elected.
	But even on issues that we don't agree with them on, I think we need to speak out if it is something important.
	To me, I think this is a very important moral issue.
	But I think it also has issues in terms of undermining our effectiveness to fight terror.
	And I'll tell you why in just a moment.
	But first, what happened there is we had White House aides go there and talk to her for several hours.
	And President Trump called her.
	And they talked her into staying in.
	And we had President Trump this morning tweet out, my highly respected nominee for CIA director Gina Haspel has come under fire because she was too tough on terrorists.
	Democrats want her out because she's too tough on terror.
	Is that right?
	Was she too tough on terror?
	We had, remember, 109 retired U.S. generals and admirals urged lawmakers to reject her nomination.
	They signed a letter detailing their objections to her.
	These admirals and generals are tough on terror.
	They don't think that Gina Haspel was tough on terror.
	And let's not talk about the moral and ethical issues here, because morality and ethics isn't really held in too high a regard anymore in the American public, especially in political circles.
	So let's just talk about the efficacy here for a second.
	Whether or not this really works, is it really tough on terror?
	Let me tell you why this is a bad policy.
	Number one, it produces bad results, bad intelligence.
	When Gina Haspel got the information from these people she was torturing, that information was used to push us into the war against Iraq.
	And some of the Pentagon officials who saw that it was a product of torture, Felt right away.
	They were angry. They said, we've been deceived because she got this from torturing people.
	They understand that anybody will say anything to give you the answer that you want if you torture them.
	Yes, I did it.
	Yes, I did it. Who'd you want?
	What'd you want me to say? Here's another aspect of why it is not good policy and why it is not being tough on torture.
	If U.S. troops are captured, it puts them in greater danger, doesn't it?
	Because now we have normalized this monstrous practice that we used to execute people for.
	That's right. The Japanese who waterboarded American soldiers were executed.
	It also becomes a propaganda tool for terrorists.
	Is that being tough on terror?
	When you give them a propaganda tool?
	When you give them a tool for recruitment?
	And then I would say this.
	It also further corrupts and criminalizes the CIA as if it needed to be further corrupted and criminalized.
	It has been a corrupt criminal organization from the very beginning.
	And all this does is encourage them when we take somebody who is most associated with this terror program and put them at the head.
	That gives a rubber stamp to this corruption instead of trying to reform it.
	Finally, let's take a quick look at the morality of this.
	It violates U.S. and international law, as if that mattered.
	It violates the Nuremberg Accords, and it violates God's law.
	God's law. We have already thrown out all the conditions for a just war, that we have to be attacked.
	That the attack is ongoing.
	That we don't continue the war after we have the upper hand.
	That we don't hurt innocent people.
	All of those types of things we don't care about anymore.
	The same types of rules that you have if somebody breaks into your home.
	If they're running away and they're not a threat to you anymore, you're not allowed to shoot them and kill them.
	But we've gotten rid of all of those moral considerations, haven't we?
	Do you really want to have God against you?
	It's the same issue that we're looking at when we look at abortion.
	You have these generals saying, we didn't accept the just following orders justification after World War II, and we should not accept it now.
	The generals and the admirals, 109 of them, said waterboarding and other forms of torture or cruel and inhumane treatment are and always have been clearly unlawful.
	Individuals in the service of our country, even at the lowest level, especially at the highest level, have a duty to refuse to carry out such actions.
	We'll see what the Senate does with this confirmation.

	Over the weekend, we had news surface that former Secretary of State John Kerry is operating behind the Trump administration's back.
	This is not the first time we've seen the deep state of both parties operating behind President Trump's back.
	Of course, we had John McCain conducting his own foreign policy with ISIS terrorists in Syria.
	We now have John McCain working with the Iranians.
	Regardless of what you think of this Iranian deal, regardless of whether you think that it should go forward or whether it should be repealed, I'm very troubled by the open rebellion against the Trump administration.
	And this extends from John Kerry down to lowest-level federal judges who say that President Trump cannot reverse I'm not going to enforce the immigration law.
	I'm not going to enforce the border. We're going to defer action on those issues.
	And then when President Trump comes in and says, I am going to enforce those, you have federal judges in New York and California say, no, you're not.
	No, you're not. No law changed.
	The border didn't change.
	The law didn't change. We had a change of administration, but the federal judges say, no, you didn't.
	We are still in control.
	In the same way that John McCain and John Kerry think that they're still in control.
	So he's still conducting foreign policy with the Iranians.
	I find that absolutely amazing.
	But beyond that, what other effects is this going to have on the United States as...
	It appears that by Friday, which is the 12th, we will have a decision by that day or earlier as to whether or not we're going to stay in this Iranian accord.
	If we get out of the Iranian accord, here is what's going to happen economically.
	In a few days, we'll decide whether or not we're going to lose a few million barrels of oil a day that are being produced by the Iranians.
	Because part of that agreement, the economic side of this, was to allow Iran to sell their oil, which is currently at 3.8 million barrels a day, up almost 1 million barrels since the sanctions were lifted.
	If the U.S. decides to reimpose sanctions, the oil market could lose about 1% of total global production.
	Now, that doesn't sound like a lot. When we talk about it in terms of millions of barrels, that sounds like a lot.
	But when we talk about it in terms of percentage, it says, well, 1%.
	However, as they point out on MarketWatch, even though the 1% doesn't sound like a lot, with the overall market facing an average deficit increase, Of 700,000 barrels per day, any loss of Iranian supplies would add a significant premium to oil prices.
	Which brings us to Saudi Arabia.
	Saudi Arabia, leader essentially of OPEC, We're good to go.
	But then also linking us to Saudi Arabia and putting us under a great deal of their control.
	The shock that went through the system as OPEC artificially inflated prices because they were operating as a cartel.
	We know what happened with that.
	We ran into stagflation.
	Stagnant economic growth and very high inflation in the United States.
	And now, after more than a year of assessing how effective OPEC and friends have been at keeping a lid on supplies, it's fair to ask how much more energy they can produce, asks Bloomberg, as if Bloomberg is taking the position.
	That Saudi Arabia is going to help us out with this.
	Maybe they don't remember the 1970s when our head-chopping allies tried to decapitate our economy and nearly did.
	Nearly did. And so they're saying, rather than make up for the unexpectedly large drops in production from Venezuela and Angola that allowed OPEC to claim record compliance with their output cuts, Saudi Arabia has preferred cutting its own supply.
	See, they continue to cut their supply.
	And we'll see what happens.
	Looks like they're trying to make the price go way up, wouldn't you think?

	Before we get to Michael Snyder and start talking about politics, there's a couple of articles here that kind of impact on victimization of the most helpless in our society.
	Women and children. We have a pedophile hunting policeman in Australia.
	This is a guy who, as we saw with the Jimmy Savile case in the UK, he was...
	In the upper levels of government, he was very well connected with the royal family, with politicians.
	They had several investigations that began into that celebrity's pedophilia that were shut down by the higher-ups at Scotland Yard.
	The BBC reporter started to do a story after he died on his crimes, and then that was shut down by them as well.
	And so we see this happening over and over again.
	We had a former Australian detective, Dennis Ryan, was driven out of the police force back in 1972.
	The guy is now 86 years old, 50 years later.
	When he... Tried to bring a pedophile priest to justice.
	So now it's almost 50 years later.
	And they have awarded him an undisclosed sum.
	Now they have gotten serious folks in Australia about pedophiles.
	First of all, they removed the statute of limitations, which has been put in there by a lot of people and powerful, a lot of politicians are pedophiles.
	And you can just look at the statute of limitations of three years that we see typically.
	And that's pretty much global.
	Australia removed that statute of limitations, and now they are reversing, throwing this guy out of the police force because he went after a pedophile.
	He said, when I heard the news, I nearly jumped out of my socks.
	As a detective in the 1970s, he tried to charge Monsignor John Day with sexual offenses, but he was blocked by senior police officers.
	He was ordered to drop the case, you know, kind of like what happened with Jimmy Savile.
	He blamed the decision on his superior's allegiance to the church.
	See? This is when allegiance to a church or allegiance to a political party or to power or to money or to anything else gets in the way of your morality.
	And we can look at this with the CIA torture program as well, can't we?
	When an allegiance excuses torture or excuses child abuse.
	Former Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Mick Miller said there had been, quote, misconduct by senior Victoria police officers, including dereliction of duty, conspiracy, to pervert the course of justice and inciting other members of the police force to join the conspiracy against Dennis Ryan in order to conceal the crimes committed by Monsignor John Day.
	John Day never faced police charges.
	He died in 1978.
	So they effectively protected him.
	Last month, the state premier, Daniel Andrews, described Mr.
	Ryan as, quote, an absolute Victorian hero.
	Not in the sense of the time period, but in the sense of the...
	Victoria is the region there.
	Ryan said, I was delighted, extremely pleased, and thought that waiting 45 years is enough.
	But I'd give it all back, he said.
	If the people who are now adults, these children who were molested by these priests, didn't have to go through what they did.
	It has lived with me forever.
	It is a burden and I will never forget it.
	He says he continues to suffer occasional nightmares.
	Just from thinking and knowing what these people did.
	And for those 40 plus years, nearly 50 years, he lived with the knowledge that the police...
	Effectively covered it up and let him get away with it as well.
	But look at what's happening in the Finnish court.
	In a case that has now triggered public outrage, says RT, a top Finnish court has upheld a ruling that sex between an asylum seeker and a 10-year-old girl did not constitute rape.
	See, in this case, they're not covering for a church.
	They're covering for a different religion.
	The religion that is now being protected is not the Catholic religion, but the Islamic religion.
	The Finnish media identified him as Yusuf Mohammed Abudin, an asylum seeker.
	They did not reveal his country of origin.
	He was convicted of aggravated sexual abuse, although the prosecution had sought a harsher sentence on charges of aggravated rape.
	However, the court left the original verdict unchanged.
	Both a district court and an appeal court convicted the asylum seeker of aggravated sexual abuse and gave him a three-year prison sentence in 2017.
	They didn't recognize the incident as rape, saying the girl wasn't forced into the sexual act.
	This is a 10-year-old girl, by the way.
	Said she was not forced and she was not overcome by fear.
	Folks, there is a reason that we have a thing called statutory rape.
	We understand that children cannot make a consensual, cannot consent to sex.
	They're not mature enough to do that.
	And the reason you are seeing this is also the reason that you're seeing the transgender gender confusion pushed on kids who are kindergarten age.
	Because if we can say that they can make up their mind what gender they are, when clearly they don't even understand what gender is.
	That far, when they're that young, that naive, that far before even puberty, how do they understand gender?
	How do they make that decision?
	Well, clearly they don't.
	And we've always understood that.
	We've always understood that it was taking advantage of children if you forced yourself upon them or deceive them or seduce them below a certain age.
	And yet now that is what our government is doing with institutionalized education.
	It is child abuse.
	And when we allow that to happen, what we do is we are setting up in our country the same thing that happened in Finland.
	To say, well, it's a 10-year-old girl.
	I mean, you know, she decided back when she was in kindergarten that, you know, she could be a girl or a boy or whatever she wanted to be.
	And so, they can make those kinds of decisions.
	That is why this transgender movement is a pedophile movement, at the very least.
	Let's take a look at what's going on in India, Nikki Haley's current country, and it's what's currently going on in India.
	Because as I pointed out an hour ago, talking about the war on American history, talking about how Nikki Haley was the one who spearheaded that, By attacking any symbols or statues that had to do with the Confederacy.
	And as I pointed out, Abraham Lincoln ran on a policy of recognizing state slavery.
	and you had Confederate generals who freed, like Stonewall Jackson, educated black children and adults to read, freed his slaves and so forth.
	It's not that clear cut as Nikki Haley would have you believe.
	But, of course, she didn't grow up here in America, I don't think.
	Maybe she was born here in America, but her parents were immigrants from India.
	And what is going on in their country right now?
	We've got a 16-year-old girl who was raped at a wedding.
	Her attackers were then fined $750 and, according to the BBC, ordered to do 100 sit-ups.
	This is from Jonathan Turley.
	He said, These guys who got fined $750 and had to do some sit-ups were so outraged that they beat the parents and then burned the rape victim alive.
	That's India today.
	So, Nikki, don't lecture me about your misunderstanding of our history 150 years ago.

	Because if you don't get involved at the primaries, you're not going to have a choice when it comes to the general election.
	You're going to have a choice between two deep state globalist candidates if you don't get involved in the primaries.

	But right now, Focus on Michael Snyder for congress.com.
	That's the important one for the next eight days to take a look at.

	Tell us a little bit about this. It's coming up a week from tomorrow in Idaho, and people have got early voting that can happen right now.
	They can go out and vote right now.
	Oh, they absolutely can.
	People can vote in my election, in my primary election today.
	Now, I'm running for Congress in Idaho's first congressional district, which if you look at Idaho, it's from the very top of the panhandle, all the western counties down to the southern border of the state.
	So in Idaho, we've got two members of Congress and two senators.
	And if you go out to East Idaho, we've got a globalist there who already has the seat in Congress.
	His name's Mike Simpson. And you know what?
	No one is running against him in the primary.
	So the globalist there is going to win by default because no one even got on the ballot to challenge him, David, which is a real shame.
	And now in my district, all the western counties, I am running against.
	It's an open seat because Raul Labrador has moved on to run for governor.
	So seven people running to replace him.
	I'm one of the seven. And this point is going to come down to between me and this other guy who's a big-time globalist.
	If it wasn't running, then the globalists would win by default.
	And at that point, we'd have two globalist senators, two globalist members of the House or representatives.
	Globalists would be running everything in Idaho, and yet it's one of the most highest concentration of patriots in the entire country.
	This is why people need to get involved, David, because with Donald Trump in the White House, this is our window of opportunity to take our government back, whether we have four years of Trump, eight years of Trump.
	If we don't take advantage of this opportunity, and right now there's not enough people running around the country.
	I was literally pleading and begging with people to run around the country, and we've got some good people running, but not enough.
	We're certainly not challenging most of the seats or every seat.
	And if we don't take advantage of this opportunity, then we're going to miss our last best chance to take our country back.
	Absolutely. And we have to point it out, you know, well, we'd say not four or eight years.
	We've got either two or six years of President Trump left at the max.
	And then what do we do after that?
	You know, we can't put, you know, all of our hopes on one individual.
	We have to have a broader movement.
	And the only way that's going to happen is if we get involved and we elect people who are going to support limited government like you are at the primary level because otherwise, as you point out, we're just going to have the choice between twiddledy and twiddledum in terms of the, you know, well, do you like the R or the D flavor of this?
	But there's not really going to be any substantive change.
	I had people contact me from Virginia saying, look at this, a GOP party in Virginia didn't even run enough candidates to even have a mathematical chance of taking the legislature here in this particular case.
	So just by... We're surrendering to this in many cases, and so I'm glad that you stood up to this, Michael.
	Congratulations to you. We really do appreciate you standing up, taking this on, and fighting to do something about this.
	Tell us a little bit about some of the issues that you're running on, because you've got some different issues that a globalist candidate is going to come out with.
	Yeah, in fact, let me show you.
	I've got right here. This is my campaign brochure.
	If you look right inside, it says, abolish the Federal Reserve.
	Now, you know, since Ron Paul, have we heard candidates?
	I mean, sometimes candidates will be like, well, maybe we should audit the Federal Reserve.
	No, we need to shut the Federal Reserve system down.
	We already know it's bad. Because it's at the very core of our long-term economic and financial problems.
	Literally, the process of creating money creates debt, is designed to create government debt.
	That's why the size of our national debt has gotten more than 6,000 times larger since the Federal Reserve was created in 1913.
	Totally out of control.
	I also want to abolish the income tax.
	you know, Infowars platform, whatever you want to call it, where the income tax also came in in 1913, where they want to, you know, you know, take all of our money.
	Yeah, it was a package deal.
	And that's how they fund all this government debt is then by taking our money.
	It's a way to transfer money from us to the government and then the government to the banks and the wealthy elitists that control all of our money.
	But that's just the financial system.
	I also want to go to war with the vaccine industry, the big pharmaceutical companies, even the cell phone companies when they want to bring in this 5G bombard us with microwave radiation everywhere.
	All these things that most of our politicians are too afraid to talk about, never want to get into, don't want to ruffle any feathers.
	Well, I'm not going to Washington to be a cog in the system.
	I'm not going there to do what leadership wants to tell me what to do.
	I'm going there to turn the system completely upside down because people hate Congress, David.
	That's right. Today, in fact, I just got done with a two-week tour.
	I was going all over Idaho's 1st Congressional District.
	And everywhere I went, I asked people one simple question at the beginning of every meeting we had.
	And we had two or three meetings a day.
	I say, if you approve of the job Congress is doing, if you think Congress is doing a wonderful job, just go ahead and raise your hand.
	And you know what? All those meetings for two weeks, two or three meetings a day, not one person raised their hand the entire time.
	Yeah, they've got congressional approval rates that are typically below 10%.
	They're in the single digits.
	Yeah. And I saw, I think it was either Politico or The Hill, they were saying, look at this, you've got Republicans running against Republicans.
	Republicans control the House and the Senate and the presidency, and you've got Republicans who are running against it.
	Well, you would be one of those guys, because you don't agree with what the establishment...
	We know that the establishment Republicans, people like Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan, are no different from the Nancy Pelosi's and the Chuck Schumer's on the big issues, whether it's the Federal Reserve and the way that we're structured economically, or the military-industrial complex, or the open borders.
	There's no disagreement with them.
	They'll find some wedge issues, like abortion and like gun rights and so forth.
	And those are important issues.
	But on the other existential issues of our country, they are in 100% agreement.
	Oh, yeah, because ultimately both parties are run by the globalists and have been for a very long time, David.
	And so people need to realize, people are so frustrated with how Congress works.
	People hate Congress.
	And so, for example, if I go to Congress, what happens is lobbyists come into your office and they sit there and they don't openly bribe you right there.
	But it's understood. They tell you how you're supposed to vote, how they want you to vote.
	Then if you do what they want you to do, it's understood you're going to be invited across the street to some of these big clubs, big places where they hold these receptions.
	So you're going to get an invitation to a reception if you vote the right way.
	And you go there and there's magically going to be all these campaign checks there waiting for you.
	Because you're going to be rewarded for doing the job that you're supposed to do.
	So it's a form of legalized bribery, but it goes on all the time.
	Everyone very well understands how it works.
	And that's why our members of Congress are far more responsive to the lobbyists and the special interests than they are to us.
	Because they know whoever raises the most money almost always wins, more than 90% of the time.
	So money makes the world go round in Washington, D.C., and even in Idaho.
	You know, where it's a very close race.
	But now some Washington, D.C. PACs have come in and are pouring tremendous amounts of money into one of the people out of the seven.
	They picked their guy. The establishment has picked their guy, pouring tons of money.
	They're running tons of commercials for him, trying to literally buy this election.
	But we're not going to let that happen.
	That's right. The only time we've seen that not happen was with President Trump.
	And he was able to transcend it.

	He's running for Congress in Idaho.
	And exercising his responsibility and his duty as a citizen to do something.
	We're just talking about the fact that so few people will get involved and we wind up with no choice at all by the time we get to the general election.
	It is very important that you pay attention to the primaries in your area and in Michael's case in Idaho, the primary is a week from tomorrow.
	So very timely, Michael, for you to come in.

	And let's talk a little bit about, as we were ending up the last segment, you were talking about the pressure to compromise.
	And I think we really need to underscore that, because that's how we wind up getting people who go to Washington and do exactly the opposite thing.
	There's so much pressure on them, as you pointed out.
	You know, the lobbyists are going to come, and they're going to say, well, this is what we would like for you to do.
	And you know that on the other end of that, there's going to be a carrot, okay?
	And that carrot is going to be money that they're going to give you so that you can get re-elected.
	But that is the fatal compromise.
	It's a compromise for journalists.
	It's a compromise for politicians.
	You always say, well, if I maintain my access by playing the game, then I can do good further down the road.
	But it never works out that way because you just keep going from one compromise to the other, and eventually you wind up totally compromised, don't you?
	Yeah, David, it starts right when you get there.
	In fact, I recently talked to Raul Labrador, who's the current member of Congress from my district.
	And of course, he's moving on to run for governor.
	But I talked to him and he said when he first got to Washington, he got a letter informing him that he needed to raise $200,000 for the NRCC, the National Republican Congressional Committee, which is a PAC. But that's just the base level.
	That's just what's expected of new members of Congress.
	If you want to move up and they always give you this carrot, hey, you want to move up, you want to be on a good committee?
	Well, that's going to cost you $400,000.
	Yeah, if you want to be chairperson of a B-level committee, then that's going to cost you $800,000.
	And someday, if you want to be chairperson of one of these top committees, you see these chairpeople of the top committees, they've had to raise $1.2 million a year for this NRCC, which is a Republican PAC. And so the whole thing is about money.
	It's not even for your own campaign. It's just for the party.
	It is. You pay the party for your appointments.
	Right. Yeah, you're proving your loyalty.
	So everything is about the money and everything is about getting you to compromise from day one the moment you get there.
	But of course, I've taken a pledge in this campaign that I'm not going to play that game.
	I'm not going to raise that money. I'm not going to make those phone calls because they expect you to be on the phone four hours a day raising that money.
	So I made a pledge. I'm not going to do that.
	I asked everyone else in this race to make the same pledge.
	Not a single one would because they understood how the games played and they're all going to go along.
	I think we're good to go.
	Then it gets back to this closed game of who can raise the most money and so forth.
	And that's a key thing.
	One of the other things that concerns me over the weekend is when I see John Kerry conducting foreign policy with Iran directly.
	This former Secretary of State, who is now no longer Secretary of State, but he thinks he's there.
	And all these other people who were part of the previous administration, they all still think that Obama is in power.
	We've got federal judges saying, we've got the Homeland Security Secretary wrote a memo, Janet Napolitano, that was called DACA, Deferred Action.
	And so she took deferred action on the borders and on our immigration laws.
	Nothing changed, but the federal judges say, well, we're not going to let the current DHS secretary or the current president change any of that stuff.
	And you've got John McCain conducting his own foreign policy a year ago going to Syria and talking to the ISIS people.

	I mean, what's going on in Washington, Michael?
	Yeah, David, it's absolutely insane because you've got the globalists and they're desperate to maintain control.

	You look at the court system, globalists are in control.
	We should talk about the courts in a minute, how we can restore power there.
	The federal agencies, because federal agencies are some of the most powerful.
	In fact, federal agencies today make far more rules, regulations, and law than Congress does.
	People don't understand that. Globalists are in control of the federal agencies, even the military.
	Because under Barack Obama, he purged most of the good officers, high-level officers that were still there.
	The military is pretty much dominated by globalists at this point.
	So globalists control pretty much everything except the White House.
	And that's why they're desperate to get rid of President Trump, the whole Mueller investigation, huge witch hunt, and we can talk about that too.
	But they want to get rid of Donald Trump, get back control of the White House, so they get back control of all of D.C., all of our giant federal government, which is the biggest government mankind has ever seen, the total opposite of the very limited federal government that our founding fathers intended.
	That's why we need to go to D.C. and restore our constitutional republic, which today, David, is hanging by a thread.
	Absolutely. You know, when we look at John Kerry, Honestly, I think they ought to take a look at the Logan Act.
	This is a guy who is now a private citizen trying to conduct foreign policy as if he was a government official.
	But going to the fact that this is the biggest government that mankind has ever seen, William Benny has said it is the most dangerous government we have ever seen because of the surveillance of American citizens.
	He said we are already far, far worse than the Stasi was because of their technological capability.
	And so at the center of all this, not only are the John Kerry's and the John McCain's conducting their own foreign policy, even John Kerry, who's not in office anymore, but of course we have the FBI, the Department of Justice, the intelligence services out there engaged in trying to establish a coup against President Trump.
	And then over the weekend, we've got Michael Hayden saying, if you're working for the Trump administration, you better think about that because we're going to come after you.
	It's not only going to be the end of your career, but we're going to start investigating you.
	I mean, how blatant do they have to be in terms of corruption, in terms of an absolute police state, beyond the coup?
	I mean, this is the end result of this surveillance state that we've seen for quite some time.
	Threatening people in the Trump administration.
	It sure is. And this is why I want to shut down the NSA because unconstitutional spying on Americans, Democrats and Republicans, both totally in favor of it.
	It's violating our constitutional rights.
	But what you're talking about with the CIA, the NSA, all these intelligence agencies is the deep state.
	And they've been propagating themselves literally for decades, for generations, where if you go in and you want to work for the FBI or the NSA and then you say, well, I'm an Alex Jones listener, well, you're not going to have a shot.
	You're not going to get hired. They only look for people that agree with their worldview, that are globalists themselves.
	So globalists have been, you know, every layer of those agencies is globalists.
	That's why they need to be completely cleaned out because they are literally at war with Donald Trump.
	Because they recognize that Donald Trump hates their worldview.

	Mueller needs to be fired, and they need to end this investigation.
	And then the guy who's going to win if I don't win was right next to me.
	They asked him about it, and you know what he said?
	He said, you know, I haven't really been following that.
	Ha ha! And he said it three times, not once, David.
	He said it three times, probably because he didn't want to answer.
	Because as a globalist, he knows he's going to go in there and he wants to stab Trump in the back and get rid of him.
	But he didn't want to come out and tell the voters this.
	But he's literally surrounded himself with never-Trumpers.

	I would think that he would see this coming, the threat to not only free speech, But the threat to President Trump himself and his political aspirations in 2020.
	Yeah, President Trump, we are just urging you to wake up and see the threat.
	Because social media was so key to the Trump campaign in 2016.
	It's got to be in 2020.
	And yet President Trump's engagement on Twitter and Facebook, both down close to 50%, according to Gateway Pundit.
	So this is a threat to you, President Trump.
	You need more good people in Washington, President Trump.
	Just one tweet from you and I will win my race in Idaho.
	So we need your help, President Trump.
	But we're just encouraging everyone to stand up because without social media, we can't get our message out.
	And if we would have got Hillary Clinton in 2016, if we would have got Hillary Clinton, Infowars would not have made it through eight years of Hillary Clinton.
	We are in a life or death battle for the future of this country.
	We're in a life or death battle for our republic, which was established by our founding fathers.
	Generations of Americans have fought and bled and died for liberty, for freedom, to protect our republic.
	We could choose to be the generation that sits back, that doesn't do anything, that doesn't go vote, that doesn't get involved, that doesn't stand up and fight.

	Right now, we are at a situation in history where we've had the monopoly, or the oligarchy, if you will, of the mainstream media, like the ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, That power has been broken by the power of the internet, by the alternative media, by social media.
	And now what they're trying to do is to take that back with a system of censorship that accuses people of bullying others, and by setting up a new oligarchy...
	Of these social media big three that are going to sit in judgment of what people have there.
	And it's not just President Trump.
	It's the people in Congress, the Republicans in Congress, who are sitting there doing nothing.
	We've had some of them say, hey, maybe we need to take a look at this and tell them that they've got to stop this censorship of people.
	Instead, the government is telling them, oh, you better censor people.
	I mean, it started with China. It started with the UK. But we've got people in America saying, we want you to shut down people that fit this profile.
	So they're busy out there creating algorithms and saying, yeah, yeah, we'll do exactly what you say.
	We don't have anybody on the other side saying, stop the algorithms, stop the censorship, stop deciding what you think people should see and hear.
	Yeah, we've got these multi-trillion dollar corporations, David, which are coming, which are trying to impose censorship right now.
	I mean, you've got Facebook, these other companies, which created enormous empires by giving everybody a say.
	But now they say, we want everybody to have a say, except Trump supporters, except patriots, except conservatives.
	And guys, this is the biggest threat to free speech we've seen in decades.
	Because they're threatening the voters' free speech.
	They are. In the past, we didn't really have a voice because we didn't have social media or any way to share information.
	So they could put blinders over our eyes, blinders over our ears, and we didn't have a voice.
	When we got social media and the internet, we had a voice, but now they're trying to put blinders over our eyes, over our ears again on social media and put a gag in our mouths because we're not going to be allowed to share information with each other.
	Oh, absolutely. And this is why Infowars is so important.

	And without the alternative media, candidates like me are not going to have a chance because the mainstream media in Idaho is trying to marginalize me.

	So that means more than 80% of registered voters are gonna stay home.
	So if we flip that around and 80% of you Info Warriors go out and vote in Idaho, we only have to get the 30,000 votes to win because it's a super low turnout scenario.
	So if all you guys go out there, you vote.
	You can literally, after listening to this program, you can go vote this afternoon all over Idaho.
	It's usually at your local county courthouse where the early voting location is.
	Or if you wait till May 15th, it's your regular voting location.
	But go out and vote because this is our chance to do something at the ballot box.
	If we don't do something in these two, four, six years right now and take our government back, we're going to lose this opportunity.
	It'll be gone forever. The global are going to win.
	We'll shut down Infowars, and then they're coming for you.
	That's right. It's a crisis situation because crisis, again, going back, it was Doug Casey who pointed out the Chinese character for crisis was danger plus opportunity.
	We are setting at this crux, at this critical moment that is both dangerous and a great opportunity, as you pointed out.

	We try to encourage people to participate in this.
	The reality is that, as Michael just said, 80% of the people aren't going to participate.

	Right now. And you can make sure that you've got somebody who is going to support your limited government policies, going to fight against the corruption of the Federal Reserve and the income tax and the deep state bureaucrats that are there as a permanent government.
	Right now is a time in every one of these races.

	They say, well, you're not a legitimate charity.
	No, things like the Southern Poverty Law Center are, however.
	As a matter of fact, they give the Southern Poverty Law Center the ability to determine which groups are allowed to participate in the Amazon Smile program.
	And a spokesperson for Amazon could not say whether or not Amazon considers the Southern Poverty Law Center to be an unbiased arbiter of the truth.

	Can you imagine that? Oh yeah, we can't really say whether or not they are unbiased.
	Well, that tells us all we need to know.

	What they do is they now say, oh, well, this is hate speech.

	A 16-year-old boy who went to Speaker's Corner.
	Now, if you don't know what Speaker's Corner is, every time I've been to England, I always make a point of going to Speaker's Corner there in Hyde Park.
	Sunday mornings, they have people literally get up on their soapboxes.
	I think that's probably where that expression came from.
	They go out there and they just take a box and stand on it.
	You can stand anywhere you want to in Speaker's Corner.
	You can say anything you want to.
	In the past, you could criticize the queen.
	You could criticize the government.
	You could talk religion.
	Anything that you wanted to talk about.
	And you would try to get an audience.
	And people would gather around you and they would yell back at you and disagree with you and so forth.
	Last time I was there, in 2001, the early part of 2001, I could already see that this was coming to an end.
	We had one guy that was standing up there.
	He was a Christian. He was trying to share the gospel with people.
	And he had the biggest crowd of anybody that was there.
	And they were Muslim hecklers.
	Wanted to shut him down.
	Angry that he would have anything intolerant of what he had to say.
	As a matter of fact, as we were standing there listening to him and listening to the interaction and how they were shutting him down, not allowing him to speak because they don't want to have a debate, they had the police start silently gathering around.
	And talking to each other in their microphones, expecting things were going to come to blows.
	At which point I told my family, all right, this is time for us to move on.
	But now what is happening is you have the police come to this individual who was debating Muslims in Speaker Corner.
	They come to his house because they were not happy about the facts that he stated about Islam.
	They threatened a 16-year-old.
	So it's gone from a situation where the police were there to protect speech...
	To where the police in the UK are there to threaten free speech.

	Alright, very important.
	He said, the people of this hall have never taken our freedom for granted, ever.
	And you've never stopped fighting for our Constitution, our sacred rights that are given to us by God.
	As a matter of fact, we had one of the organizers of the event last week, it was last Wednesday, that over 300 schools had students walk out for 15 minutes in silent support for your right to defend yourself, for your liberty. We had students who went out at hundreds of schools to beg the government to take away their liberty and to take away your liberty.
	But these are students who took the opposite standpoint.
	And the student who organized this, Will Riley, went on with Neil Cavuto on Saturday, and he had this to say.
	As far as how I'm concerned with this issue, it's not about me getting to keep my guns.
	I don't have any. It's about people's rights.
	And so I think that's how we need to focus on this.
	You know, people forget that the right to bear arms is just that.
	It's a right. It can't be taken away by repealing the Second Amendment.
	You can only violate a right.
	You can't take it away. Absolutely.
	And he went on to say, to defend the right of 18-year-olds to own a gun, which is something that I wish that we had Republican governors and presidents a little bit more firm on, because this is, anytime you start to infringe upon our basic rights, again, that's why it said infringe.
	They knew that nobody was going to come in and with one fell swoop take away and confiscate everybody's guns, because people would resist them.
	They already had. And they knew that people would resist them in the future.
	No, it will be a process, a gradual process of infringement.
	Gradually moving the fence, if you will, onto your property.
	Let it sit there for a while.
	It's like, okay, we've established that infringement.
	Let's move it a little bit further and a little bit further.
	It's a death by a thousand cuts.
	That's what they talk about in the First Amendment.
	They said Congress shall make no law bridging freedom of speech and free exercise of religion.
	They knew that those types of things could be done just with a law.
	But with the Second Amendment, they would have to do it by process of gradual infringement.
	And so when we look at this, Will Riley, who is absolutely right, government can violate a right, but they cannot take it away, he said.
	He defends an 18-year-old's right to buy a gun, which unfortunately we've got a lot of Republicans who don't want to do that.
	A lot of people want to compromise on that.
	He says, if you're someone who is allowed to vote, allowed to serve in the military, I think you also should be allowed to own a gun.
	Absolutely right. Take a look at how this plays out in Massachusetts, for example.
	The Huffington Post is very happy about the fact that Massachusetts has the toughest gun laws in America.
	And so they talk about one individual, a 30-something man, who sought to buy a rifle in Massachusetts in late September.
	I said if he'd been living in almost any other part of the country, he could have done so easily.
	His record was free of arrests.
	He didn't have any involuntary psychiatric commitments.
	And by the way, folks, this is a major loophole against our rights.
	I have absolutely no problem with taking away guns from people who are criminally or mentally unstable.
	Absolutely don't have a problem with that.
	But they need to have due process.
	And quite frankly, as we have seen over and over again, if you are mentally unstable to the point of being violently dangerous, simply taking away somebody's gun is not going to solve the problem, is it?
	Take a look at what's going on and we're going to take a look at what's going on in other countries because President Trump brought that up in his speech to the NRA. Whether it's knives or whether it's acid or whether it's bombs or whether it's cars, if somebody is mentally unstable, they don't need to be at large.
	And so we need to have a reasonable due process.
	We don't take away the guns and do the due process later.
	We do the due process and we have to be very careful that we don't wrongfully commit somebody involuntarily.
	That is a very dangerous position that is being embraced by the Republicans, embraced by the NRA. Because nobody wants to defend an insane person's right to own guns.
	And it would be insane to do so.
	We need to make sure that we know who really is insane because insanity has always been the accusation of tyrants against political opposition.
	Just take a look at Stalin's Soviet Union and every other piece of tyranny, of modern tyranny.
	They use psychiatry.
	To take people away and to do it with very little burden of proof.
	So there needs to be a very rigid standard of this.
	They need to have their full due process to be allowed to confront the charges against them, to call witnesses in their defense, to have an open trial.
	Not to have some kind of ex parte, which means that you don't even participate.
	You're not even there. You don't even know about it.
	They decide this in your absence.
	That is the way that this is going to be used in a very dangerous way.
	So I absolutely understand and agree with the fact that we don't want mentally insane and criminally dangerous people to have firearms.
	We don't want those types of people to be loose on the streets.
	That's the issue. So it shouldn't be about just taking the firearms from them.
	But anyway, as I point out, this guy had no arrest record.
	He had no involuntary psychiatric commitments or anything else.
	He could have walked into any other gun store anywhere else and filled out a form and walked out with a weapon in less than an hour.
	Or in some cases, maybe two or three days if the FBI wants to take their time with it.
	But he couldn't do that in Massachusetts.
	And so Huffington Post is very happy about that.
	Huffington Post is happy about the fact that each applicant must complete a four-hour gun safety course.
	Okay, well, whatever.
	Okay, now you're starting to get into a privilege here, but also get character references from two people.
	Ooh, it's harder to do that than it is to become a voting citizen here.
	You know, Switzerland has the requirement that you have to get character references from people before you can become a citizen there.
	But yeah, you've got to get character references from two people to get a gun.
	You have to go to the local police department for fingerprinting and a one-on-one interview with a specially designated officer who will decide whether or not he thinks or she thinks that you should be allowed to have a gun.
	This is not called a right.
	This is called a government-granted privilege.
	They can refuse to grant the permit.
	A right infringed is not a right.
	It is a privilege if you need prior permission.
	And this applies to the entire spectrum of regulatory oversight from the bureaucracy.
	You no longer have the presumption of innocence.
	And if we allow this to happen with gun control, we will allow it to happen with parental control as well.
	There will come a time, and we already have a lot of examples of this, depending on where you are.
	If you want to school your kids or you have to get some kind of a permission from people.
	If you want to adopt, you have to convince them that you are innocent.
	If you want to be a parent, this is something that is creeping and pervasive across a lot of different areas.
	We have lost The importance of presumption of innocence, precisely because of the bureaucratic rules that don't give you due process, that don't give you the ability to have a presumption of innocence, a trial, or even protection against excessive fines.
	All of that comes through bureaucratic regulations and rules that they say, well, it's not a law, so it's not a crime, so you don't get the Bill of Rights.
	We really have to guard that this doesn't happen with the Second Amendment.

	I want to take a look at a couple of other things that happened at the NRA convention and things that happened across the country in terms of our struggle to maintain our liberty to defend our lives.
	That's what we're really talking about here.
	And after we do that, I'm going to lay out the case.
	That John Kerry is the best example of violation of the Logan Act, what he did in terms of going to Iran, trying to save the Iranian deal.
	The best example is exactly what the Logan Act was written about.
	It has never been enforced.
	We've had people say, well, you know, it should be enforced, and we have said it.
	It should be enforced against the Bilderberg Group, because you've got people there meeting privately.
	And doing things that are against the policy, presumptively.
	We can't get that information against the policy of the American government.
	And we've had people who have opposed Trump saying, hey, I think we've got some violations of the Logan Act.
	Clearly they did not. And those two cases are not clear-cut.
	This case with John Kerry is exactly...
	What happened with George Logan in 1798?
	I'm going to give you the parallels of this and tell you why John Kerry should now be prosecuted.
	For the first person to be prosecuted for the Logan Act, he followed the pattern exactly down to the wire.
	So we'll get to that in just a moment.
	But let's finish up with the NRA with the Second Amendment.
	And one of the people who was speaking there was Stephen Williford, 55, of Sutherland Springs, Texas, the hero who stopped the shooting there at that church.
	And if you remember, it was...
	It was Mark Collins, former pastor at that church that I talked to on that Monday morning following the shooting on Sunday.
	He broke that news here on this program, even though we had CNN and the rest of the mainstream media saying that the killer was stopped by a man with a shotgun.
	It was Mark Collins who was there, who knew the people, who knew Stephen Wilford.
	He said, no, no, no, it wasn't a shotgun.
	It was an AR-15. As a matter of fact, he was very distraught because he didn't have a loaded magazine.
	It took him a while to load it and that was what he was concerned about.
	Nevertheless, as soon as he could get it loaded, this plumber with no military experience He was an NRA member.
	He was a trained NRA instructor.
	As soon as he was able to get that magazine loaded, he ran barefoot to confront this guy who we already knew was in full body armor.
	This is what Stephen Williford, the hero of the Sutherland Springs, Texas shooting, had to say at the NRA convention this weekend.
	My daughter came into the bedroom and she said, "Dad, there's a man in black tactical gear shooting up the Baptist church." Every one of those shots to me represented one of my neighbors, one of my friends.
	And I ran as fast as I could.
	Immediately, he came out of the church shooting at me.
	He hit the truck in front of me, hit the car behind me, hit the house behind me, and I hit him.
	He had an AR-15, but so did I. And it's not the gun, it's the heart.
	It's a matter of the heart.
	I'm not the bravest man in the world or anything, but I was here.
	I was here, and I could do something.
	Absolutely. It is not the weapon.
	All these people say, well, only the military should have that.
	He was never in the military. He learned how to shoot because he was in the NRA, and because he trained himself.
	And it is not the weapon.
	It doesn't matter whether the weapon is a gun or whether it is a knife or whether it is acid or a bomb or a car.
	It matters who the person is.
	That's what he said. It's about the heart of the person.
	He had an AR-15, and this hero had an AR-15.
	I'm glad he did. I'm glad he had the equal weapon.
	Of course, there was still an inequality in terms of body armor.
	He was able to shoot through the body armor, hit him in the side, get him in a gap between his body armor, wounding him in the side, perhaps fatally wounding him there.
	He said, we are the people, he told the NRA, Stephen Wilford of Sutherland Springs, said, we are the people that stand between the people that would do evil to our neighbors.
	I'm nothing special.
	Look at you guys. Every one of you guys would do what I did, he said to the crowd.
	The difference is the person.
	And we've pointed this out in terms of the situation in London.
	You've got people there in spite of the gun control laws.
	You've got people who are engaged in drive-by shootings, just like they are in the areas of our country that have the tightest gun control laws.
	As Trump was there, he saluted the NRA. He said, elect Republicans to save gun rights.
	This is going to be a key issue in the election, folks.
	A very key issue. He said, the Second Amendment will never be under siege as long as I am present, said President Trump.
	And repeated his strong support for letting highly trained teachers carry concealed weapons.
	And then he went on to talk about London and talk about how it is a war zone.
	Here's President Trump on the knives of London.
	I recently read a story that in London...
	Which has unbelievably tough guns.
	A once very prestigious hospital right in the middle.
	It's like a war zone for horrible stabbing wounds.
	Yes, that's right.
	They don't have guns.
	They have knives. And instead, there's blood all over the force of this hospital.
	They say it's there.
	As a military war zone hospital.
	All right, let's hold it right there.
	It's a heavy echo on that clip there.
	But what he's saying is they don't have guns, they have knives.
	And they say it is as bad as a military war zone in the hospitals.
	It's not President Trump who's saying that.
	For all those people who are going to try to fact check him and say that this is fake news.
	I have read to you over and over again the quotes from the doctors in the hospitals saying it has now become common.
	But they're seeing this with teenagers on a regular basis.
	The doctors who said it is like a war zone.
	And that's not only the knives, but it is also the drive-by shootings that are happening in an area where they are proud of the fact that they have gun control.
	And President Trump went on to talk about France.
	He said that fewer people would have died in Paris November 13, 2015 if Parisians had been allowed to be armed for self-defense.
	He's absolutely right. But the Daily Mail reports that the French foreign minister, Le Drian, responded by expressing firm disapproval of Trump's suggestion that allowing people to be armed for self-defense would have made them safer.
	Yeah, of course not. Of course not.
	You can't be allowed to defend yourself.
	Trump referenced the attack as proof that gun control does not control bad people.
	He said, Paris, France has the toughest gun laws in the world.
	Nobody had guns. He talked about how the gun-free status of patrons allowed the attackers to methodically kill at will.
	And he's absolutely right. He said they took their time, they gunned them down one by one.
	But if one employee or just one patron had had a gun, or if one person in this room had been there with a gun, the terrorists would have fled or been shot.
	But the French foreign minister said, free circulation of weapons in society does not constitute a rampant against terrorist attacks.
	To the contrary, it can facilitate this type of attack.
	That is absolutely not true.
	Terrorists will not have any problem getting guns.
	There is a vibrant black market where they can get anything they want, including heavy-duty military weapons in Libya.
	We created that black market for them.
	We went in there and took out Qaddafi, or they can go any other number of places where we've had regime change, where our foreign policy has created those types of black markets.
	It's not a problem for them to get that stuff.
	It's not a problem for them to bring it into these countries.
	How did they get these guns?
	And why is it that nobody in France is allowed to even have a peace shooter to defend themselves?
	And it doesn't have to be a gun.
	It's the people. Maybe what they need to have is try to enact some controls at their border so they can keep bad people out.

	In the last segment, I was talking about what President Trump said in terms of our ability to defend ourselves.
	We had the hero of the Sutherland Springs church shooting who showed up with an AR-15 to stop the bad guy with an AR-15.
	President Trump talked about what was happening in London as well as in France, the knife attacks in London as well as the gun attacks that are happening in London, and the terrorist attack in Paris where he said if anybody there was allowed to have weapons, they could have stopped that before it went on as long as it did, allowed these people to have a very long time to murder people one-on-one.
	The French foreign minister very angrily pushing back on that.
	But here's the reality, folks.
	As they're debating whether or not something like this could actually help to defend lives, we have a 70-year-old grandmother showing the French foreign minister just how wrong he is.
	A 70-year-old grandmother shot an alleged home intruder in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Saturday morning.
	Leaving him hospitalized.
	This is reported from Daily Caller.
	Maxine Thompson woke up about 4.30 in the morning.
	She heard a loud banging noise.
	She looked out her window. She saw a man pounding on her door, trying to break in.
	She told him to stop.
	Go away. But then he smashed a window, and he entered her house.
	Thompson grabbed her handgun and fired shots at the suspect, according to Fox News.
	First I thought I was dreaming, and then I looked out the window outside, and I was still hearing the banging, banging, banging.
	So I yelled to whoever, who's that on my front door?
	Get off my door! Get off my door!
	I shot at him. He turned around and he ran.
	And when he ran, I ran down the steps behind him and shot at him some more.
	She better not confess that.
	Kill him before he kills me.
	That was what was going through my mind, said the 70-year-old grandmother.
	The man that she stopped was a 45-year-old male.
	Do you think she would have been able to fend him off with her bare hands?
	70-year-old grandmother against a 45-year-old male who just kicked in the door, broke the glass and entered?
	Of course not. It is the equalizer for people who are elderly or for women.
	And so that's why when you take away our ability to defend ourselves, you are putting the weakest among us.
	At the most, vulnerability.
	She was worried that the suspect could have killed her, she said.
	And she warned others not to break into people's houses.
	She said, after everything was over, then I did get a little bit shaky.
	He could have killed me. Stay the hell out of people's houses.
	That was her bottom line.
	And make sure you have the ability to defend yourself.
	It is the equalizer.
	And then there's a case of the billboard that we have seen, calling the NRA a terrorist organization.
	And now, a group to defend not only the NRA, but our God-given rights to protect ourselves, recognized explicitly in the Constitution, a pro-gun group, Claude Taylor, who is chair of what they call the Mad Dog Political Action Committee, funded a billboard to start a conversation.
	To push back on this other billboard.
	See, if they were Soros, or if they were the Antifa left, what they would do is they would buy out that other billboard, or they would cover it up.
	Now, their tactic is to open up a debate using the First Amendment to defend the Second Amendment.
	The tactics that we have seen as we have protested The genocide of black babies at Planned Parenthood.
	What did they do? They showed up, and these are people who had, as we showed, they had been at all these marches in the past with their hammers and sickles defending Marxism and so forth.
	They showed up with their black signs that said absolutely nothing.
	And they would go there and hold their signs up.
	And my wife was there with my daughter.
	And they would put their signs down.
	They would go down low. When they go low, they go low.
	When they go high, they go high.
	They just wanted to cover up what other people were saying.
	Censor what other people were saying.
	That's the way the left operates today.
	But these people who are pro-liberty show up to defend their right to defend their lives.
	And they said there's nothing wrong with using the First Amendment to protect the Second Amendment.
	So they're buying a billboard to go directly underneath this other billboard to give another point of view.
	Let both of them be out there.
	Again, if it was George Soros, he would have bought that billboard and shut it down.
	Or would have paid to just put a black sign over it.
	And then we have one of the Parkland kids saying in the same vein, arming teachers is a plot from the NRA.
	Here's that kid.
	The president's suggestion that more guns in school would make students feel safer.
	Yeah, I think that's an absolute crazy assumption that that would work.
	I know plenty of teachers who really think that there are many things that we can do to protect our schools rather than putting more guns into them.
	It's honestly, I think, a plot for the NRA to just sell more guns.
	We're not helping our teachers and students.
	It's a conspiracy theory. We're really just putting more fear into them by making schools like prisons.
	Okay, so there he is selling his tinfoil hat conspiracy theory.
	It's a plot by the NRA to armed teachers.
	No, it's a very effective way of defending people.
	If you have people who are there, who have been vetted, who have been trained, and they have the ability to defend their lives and the lives of those around them, that is very effective.
	But, to them, it's a conspiracy.
	Just like we have the conspiracy theorists who have been having their way at the FBI, the Department of Justice, the CIA, the NSA, for the last year and a half to two years, coming after President Trump.
	Yeah, that's a big conspiracy theory as well.
	We're going to get to that in a moment. When we look at, however, the people that they want to have all the guns, the government, maybe they might want to take a look at it and how this has worked out for some of the people.
	You know, it wasn't that long ago, these same people who say that they don't want any citizens to have arms were complaining.
	They would say, oh, Black Lives Matter, hands up, don't shoot, right?
	They were concerned about the abuse of police power.
	Now they're not concerned about that anymore.
	They just want to take away the guns from everybody and turn them over to the government or turn them over to President Trump.
	He's the head of the government, ultimately.
	So they want President Trump, the guy that they said is Hitler, to have all the guns.
	They want the police that they said are shooting them down in the streets, they want them to have all the guns.
	It's absolutely insane.
	Now, these people need to be maybe committed for some kind of a bipolar mental condition because they don't seem to be able to keep their stories straight.
	But we do have problems with police raids, and many times they do involve them going to the wrong address and not only scaring people but sometimes executing people.
	In this particular case, it didn't turn into an execution, fortunately.
	But in Chicago, we had an 18-year-old, Nassim Stevens, woke up early Wednesday, last Wednesday evening, by Chicago police officers who busted down his bedroom door with their guns drawn.
	He said he was face down with officers pointing guns in a police raid, but it was the wrong home.
	He said, when I heard it come open, there was an officer standing here, here, and here, he said, pointing to where they were standing.
	They told me to lay on my stomach and put my hands behind my back.
	He said he was home with his 15-year-old brother when the officers busted into the home, served a warrant.
	They actually had a warrant. And again, this underscores why we need to take a look at how our government is interacting with us.
	Do we want to have no-knock raids?
	In so many different cases.
	Now this is a situation of kidnapping.
	Perhaps that was legitimate to have a no-knock raid and kidnapping.
	And nobody was killed in that.
	But when you have situations where they break into homes for the war on drugs, that is where this has typically happened.
	And where you have so many cases of people being executed by the police.
	And another example of police overreach and government overreach.
	We now have a new ordinance in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
	Where if you sell, for example, old records or old comic books or maybe even antiques, you're going to have to get fingerprinted.
	Yeah, that's right. They decided in their wisdom in Allentown that they were concerned that pawn shops were being used to fence stolen goods.
	So they said, we're going to enact a law so that all second-hand retailers have to take photographs and collect thumbprints from customers before they purchase or exchange any merchandise.
	So the result of this is that people who have never been fingerprinted in their lives will be fingerprinted.
	You'll have people who buy the merchandise.
	As one guy says, look, I trade in merchandise of old record collections and so forth.
	He goes, if somebody refuses to be fingerprinted and they have a good reason not to want to do that if they're just selling records to me and they have really good stuff, they're going to go to another town or they're going to sell it online.
	He said some people have privacy concerns.
	Where is this information going?

	The company's founder told the Washington Post, quote, it would be both naive and counterproductive to say that law enforcement shouldn't have these new technologies.
	Ha! Yeah, it would be naive to think they aren't going to take them.
	And they're going to make you pay for your enslavement.
	Yeah, it'll be there in your taxes.
	They'll borrow the money from the Chinese and the Saudis.
	They're going to have these, and I think they're going to need them.
	We can't have police in the 2020s policing with technologies from the 1990s.
	That's right. We've got to go full 1984 in the 2020s, don't we?
	That's what he's talking about.
	It is full Orwellian surveillance.
	This guy, this president of this company, his name is Rick Smith, he is nothing but a self-serving prostitute.
	The military-industrial complex has become the police-state complex, or really, as they more accurately point out in this Free Thought Project article here, the prison-industrial complex, because that's what this is ultimately about.
	Creating violations so they can send you to prison, so they can steal your money, that sort of thing.
	There's 42 groups that have written a letter to this company, Axon, Pointing out the police state dangers associated with such a program, calling it categorically unethical to deploy.
	You don't need a board of ethics to take a look at this.
	We know that it's unethical.
	But they're not the only company that's doing this.
	Of course, there is a vast industry that is set up To make money off of suppressing you.
	Once we lost the Cold War and they lost that big profit center of the intercontinental ballistic missiles, which they're busy to re-engage.
	That's why we have the reinvention and restart of the Cold War.
	But they went into technology to keep you under control.
	That's a growth market, folks.

	Except they're going to take it away from you at will if you have this kind of state involved.
	And, of course, it's also going to go to breathalyzers.
	And they're going to continue to take the legal limit down.
	They're not happy with the breathalyzer limit of.08.
	Many states want that lowered.
	So that if you just have one bottle of beer or one glass of wine, that you'll get the full ramifications of a DUI. And so they ask in Free Thought Project, do Americans have a God-given right to privacy?
	Are we allowed to keep our DNA, our fingerprints, our biometrics to ourselves?
	Or are we going to have a full-on spying police state?
	Remember the time when Americans were walking around with explosives in their pocket?
	No. No, it never happened.
	But in the wake of 9-11, they gave themselves the power to inspect us as if that was something that was happening on a regular basis.
	Now, the time we've got left, we've just got a couple of minutes here.
	One of the things that really amazed me this last weekend was to see John Kerry trying to salvage the Iranian deal that he helped to create.
	And I'm going to tell you that I do not think that it is a stretch to say that this guy has violated the Logan Act.
	Let me give you the background of the Logan Act.
	In 1798, we had George Logan.
	He was a state legislator from Pennsylvania.
	He was a Quaker. He was a pacifist.
	So he worked against the John Adams administration, the second president, to undermine negotiations with France as a private citizen.
	He was a private citizen.
	He was not authorized to conduct foreign policy, even though he was a state legislator.
	So he's working against the administration.
	In response to that, they pass the Logan Act.
	Now, nobody has ever been convicted or charged with the Logan Act.
	The Democrats a year ago were suggesting that people in the Trump administration should be charged with that.
	That was wrong. But I'm telling you, this is exactly why the Logan Act was created.
	The Logan Act criminalizes negotiations by an unauthorized person with a foreign government that has a dispute with the United States.
	Does that apply? In this case, John Kerry is not authorized to do this.
	John Kerry is not Secretary of State.
	We do have a dispute with the Iranians.
	And he is, his purpose in doing this is to undermine the government's position.
	This is exactly what the Logan Act was about.
	And I'm not the only one saying this.
	We've got people who are foreign policy experts at the Brookings Institute saying this is really strange.
	Said it is unusual for a foreign secretary of state to engage in foreign policy like this as an actual Democrat and as a quasi-negotiator.
	This is foreign policy expert Michael O'Hanlon of the Brookings Institute who said this.
	And he went on to say, And let me tell you how widespread this is.
	And an EU official, Frederica Mogherini, and French President Emmanuel Macron in both Paris and New York, where they discussed the sanctions and how they could preserve this.
	And as Zero Hedge points out, this type of rogue diplomacy is very rare for a former Secretary of State.
	Yes, it is. And he is not Secretary of State.
	You don't stay Secretary of State for life, having been Secretary of State.
	And what he is doing is trying to undermine the current administration.
	But how is that any different, as I said before in this program, how is that any different than federal judges saying that the current DHS Secretary and the current President Cannot overturn a memo or an order from the previous administration.
	The same people doing it.
	See, they don't believe that, you know, this is essentially, folks, this is not my president taken to the level of former government officials saying this is not our president.
	And people who are in the current government, the Department of Justice, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, the judiciary, also saying that.
