	Waging War on Corruption It's David Knight.
	Welcome on this Tuesday, February the 13th, 2018.
	Lynn Ulbricht is going to be our guest today.
	That name doesn't sound familiar.
	She is the mother of Ross Ulbricht.
	If that name doesn't sound familiar, it should.
	This young man is serving several consecutive life sentences because of Silk Road.
	Now maybe you ring a bell with Silk Road.
	But what you need to understand, and what we're going to draw today, is the relationship between this and what we've seen at the Bundy Ranch.
	The relationship between this kind of corruption and persecution, not prosecution, but persecution by the Justice Department that has become a hallmark of the way our government operates.
	So regardless of whether or not you agree with the Bundys and what they were talking about in terms of the constitutional issues and the rightful use of the government, the rightful ownership of land, whether it should be owned by the federal government, which the Constitution doesn't provide for,
	or whether it should be owned by the states and by private individuals, which is really the way that it should be done, We're good to go.
	Use that and cover for the crimes of those that have been committed, crimes committed by the FBI and others in the course of their investigation.
	And then become part of an obstruction of justice themselves and not giving somebody a fair trial.
	And that's what we're looking at here with Ross Ulbricht.
	The same types of issues.
	Violations of the Brady Rule and so forth that we heard so much about in the Bundy Ranch case.
	But you also need to understand that behind this is Chuck Schumer, a guy who is desperate to get rid of Bitcoin.
	Because, of course, he represents the Wall Street bankers and people in New York.
	He was on a crusade to get rid of Bitcoin.
	He still is. And so as we see regulations coming down the pike over cryptocurrency, and as we see the government stepping up its efforts to take over control of the Internet, because they've lost control of too much of it, As we look at this case, we can see that in the future they may be gelling other people for merely operating a website.
	Or they may be gelling other people for having Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
	And they may be shutting down due process and real trials for other people.
	So regardless of where you are on these issues, of Silk Road, of the Bundy Ranch, do you want a fair trial?
	Or do you want to have nothing but corrupt kangaroo courts throughout this country?
	That's the real issue before us.
	So we're going to be talking to Lynn Albrecht.
	She'll be live in studio with us today.
	I'm looking forward to that. It is a gross case of injustice, just as we saw with the Bundys and people surrounding that as well.
	We're also going to be talking about the new infrastructure and budget plans that have just been reduced.
	They haven't reduced the budget plan.
	Not by any means.
	When I say reduction, I'm looking at the welfare reform.
	And I think there was one brilliant aspect of this.
	It really hasn't gotten much attention in the Trump plan.
	So we're going to talk about that. Also about the infrastructure plan.
	And... I think you're going to find it very interesting today because a lot has happened.
	You know, we look at the money side of this.
	There's an article, I believe it was on the Drudge Report today.
	Feds collect record taxes in the first month under the tax cut.
	Now, they've been running surpluses, not running surpluses, they've been collecting record amounts of taxes, but they've been spending record amounts of money.
	And so they've been continually running deficits.
	This is the first time we've seen a surplus And this is in January.
	So hopefully some of the reductions in government that President Trump has put in, with regulations and so forth, are starting to kick in.
	We're going to talk about the financial aspects of this.
	We're going to talk about the move by China that is coming up next month.
	We're only a couple of weeks away.
	From a move by China to directly attack the U.S. currency as a world's reserve currency.

	I'm David Knight. As I was just saying at the top of the hour, our guest today will be in studio, Lynn Albrecht, mother of Ross Albrecht, who was convicted and given multiple life sentences for allegedly running Silk Road.
	And so you have to look at this and say, well, if this was a fair trial, this is a guy who's going to jail for running a website.
	That should be the beginning of questioning what happens.
	But whether or not you agree with that, whether or not you want to put people in jail who engage in cryptocurrency, for example, because that's coming, folks.
	We're seeing a lot of regulations throughout the world.
	A lot of governments are very afraid of their fiat currencies coming under attack, competition if you will, from cryptocurrencies.
	So they're going to be arresting people for Bitcoin.
	You're going to see some of that happening.
	Do you want to have a fair trial?
	Regardless, as I said at the top of the hour, the Bundys who were put in jail for years without bail.
	Same thing happened here.
	The Bundys, who had federal agents committing crimes and going to jail for it in the case of Ross Ulbrich, Committing crimes, and yet that was covered up.
	The very people who were investigating, who created this case in Silk Road, were committing crimes and ultimately were punished for that.
	But they were not allowed to know.
	The jury was not allowed to know about that.
	They covered that up. Just as they covered up what Dan Love at the BLM had done.
	And projected his crimes saying, oh, he was, you know, the Bundys were dangerous people and they have to stay in jail for years because they were attacking the BLM. No, it was the BLM who was attacking them.
	And here they say, well, you know, they were doing this and that.
	It turns out that it was the federal agents who went to jail who were doing this and that.
	So we're talking to her about that.
	But the key thing is, regardless of where you are on these issues, do you want a fair trial?
	That's the key thing. And we're seeing the same people, Preet Bharat, Chucky Schumer, the corrupt Obama Department of Justice, and the corrupt Obama FBI and others involved in this.
	We can see that when they want to shut something down, they will use any means, any method.
	We don't want that. We want to have a system where we have honest, fair trials.
	That did not happen here. We're going to lay that out for you.
	It's very, very similar to what happened in the Bundy case, except we didn't have a whistleblower on the inside exposing this.
	And many, many people are appealing this to the Supreme Court.
	And this is something that is going to affect your life, not just Ross Ulbrich's life, not just Lynn Ulbrich, his mother's life.
	It's going to affect your life. If we have a corrupt criminal justice system, quote-unquote, if we have a criminal system in the Justice Department, it will affect you.
	We already have a lot of crimes being committed by the Justice Department.
	Civil asset forfeiture is one that they openly do all the time, and we don't have any call for reforming that by anybody.
	It's just amazing to me that that happens.
	But let's talk a little bit about money first, because we're also going to be talking about Bitcoin here and the attacks on the U.S. dollar.
	But first of all, we had record taxes in January.
	The first month under the tax cut, we ran a surplus.
	That's surplus. Remember all the complaints?
	Remember we had Rand Paul, just last week, went on CNN, and they were talking about the hypocrisy of the Republicans who wanted to raise spending.
	Don't look in that budget.
	We're going to drop that at the last minute, and don't you dare offer any amendments, any discussions.
	We've got several hundred pages, probably about a thousand pages of a budget, and we're going to drop it at the last minute, and we don't want any discussion or amendments.
	And so Rand Paul filibustered on it to say, this has to be said.
	We cannot continue to spend money that we don't have and borrow it from the Chinese, from the Saudis, from other people.
	And they didn't want to hear that.
	So he went on with CNN. CNN was happy to point out the hypocrisy of the Republicans, and it should be pointed out.
	Let's not cover for them on this because they're Republicans.
	They don't deserve to be covered for.
	And there's a lot of Republicans besides Rand Paul who spoke up about this.
	We're going to hear from some of them in just a moment.
	But CNN, I think it was Aaron Burnett that was interviewing Rand Paul, said, well, what about that hypocrisy of you voting for a tax cut?
	And Rand Paul said, well, there's a couple of issues here.
	Number one, you can balance the budget by cutting spending, not just by raising taxes.
	As the Democrats, that's the only solution that they see.
	But he said the other thing is that there's a built-in increase in the economy, which the Democrats don't believe.
	But we've seen this.
	Just the expectation of tax cuts and regulation cuts were spurring the economy along.
	And then we had the real thing happen.
	And so now we've seen a surplus.
	This is the... A surplus that has been the biggest jump, they say, in several years.
	If we look at what the New York Fed is saying, they're saying that Americans are optimistic about wage growth, more optimistic than they've been in years.
	They say U.S. consumers anticipate earnings will rise 2.73%.
	And I looked at that and I thought...
	Really? Somebody walks up to you on the street and say, do you think that things are going to get better next year?
	You might hear them say, well, yeah, yeah, I guess so.
	How much better? Can you quantify that?
	Well, I don't know, 2%?
	I mean, I would be surprised if somebody said something like that, 2%.
	I think my earnings are going to rise by 2% next year.
	But no, not 2%.
	2.73% is what they said.
	So where did this information come from?
	Well, it's a result of a New York Fed survey.
	The New York Fed.
	People that really do set monetary policy here.
	They said this is only the third month in nearly five years, 56 months, about five years, that they've been doing this survey where there were expected wage growth that topped expected consumer price inflation.
	So I don't know who they're talking to.
	But I can tell you this.
	What I suspect is that the Fed is putting this number out so they can make a case for raising interest rates, so they can make a case for killing the economy and the growth under President Trump.
	I mean, that's just my suspicion of what the Fed has done in recent years.
	I mean, you look at the political patterns and the timing of what Alan Greenspan did, for example.
	Dropping interest rates throughout the Clinton administration, Bill Clinton's administration, keeping them low for a while, and then raising them, as I said, a quarter of a step every quarter.
	Just looks like a regular staircase if you look at the...
	If you look at the chart, until they popped the bubble that they had created.
	So they create a bubble, make it look good for the guy that's in office.
	They did everything they could for Bill Clinton.
	They did everything they could for Obama.
	And now they're going to try to make a case to burst the bubble.
	Zero Hedge article authored by the Mises Institute.
	Yes, tax cuts really are the reason for your wage.
	Now, many people, like a particular individual to rugby at Reason Magazine...
	Our foundation, rather, is saying, wait a minute, wait a minute.
	You can't say that tax cuts have been in place long enough for this to be responsible for these announcements.
	And yet the person at the Mises Institute who's writing this says, well, actually, these bonus raises are perfectly in line with what economic theory predicts.
	Wages are equivalent to the expected increase in revenue.
	And so it's based on these expectations.
	And it's based on the fact that this has actually happened.
	We've seen a lot of good news just based on the expectation.
	Morgan Stanley looks at this and says, you know, it's kind of interesting that Bitcoin and the stock market's PE multiples, the price earnings multiples, peaked on the same day.
	Remember the old expression?
	In the stock market, you buy on rumor, you sell on news.
	Yeah, that's what we're looking at here.
	Equity market PE actually peaked back on December the 18th, the day before the Trump tax bill passed the Senate.
	So when the Trump bill passed the Senate, so there's a rumor, there was an expectation that we're going to get this massive tax relief.
	And they've been building for that since President Trump was elected.
	And so it peaked the day before.
	The day that it happened, the day the news came out, boom, starts to go down.
	And Morgan Stanley's Equity Strategy Group, the one who pointed this out, said, We always view the tax passage as a likely place for the rally to take a pause.
	Again, buy on rumor, sell on news.
	And the interesting thing, too, is that Bitcoin also peaked on that day.
	So, here's the warning.
	They say, alright, so now they're correcting things.
	Now they're selling. And they always overshoot on the downside.

	Welcome back. We're going to be talking about the budget that President Trump has put out.
	Part of that is welfare reform, which I think you're going to be interested to hear this.
	I think it's actually a genius plan.
	Something that I've not heard Trump talk about before.
	And I think this is a great idea as part of the welfare reform.
	Also, the infrastructure plan.
	About what I'd expected.
	I'm not really on board with it, but it's not as bad as what the Democrats would do.
	I don't really...
	Well, we'll talk about that when we get to it.
	But also, we'll be talking about DACA, because that is also in the DOC, in the legislative DOC. So, that memo updates, and of course, Lynn Albrecht is going to be joining us to talk about The Silk Road case and her son who was given multiple life sentences for using Bitcoin and running a website.
	But it's also a tale of corruption in the same way by the same people that we have seen coming after President Trump and the Bundys.
	The parallels are absolutely amazing.
	And you need to hear this story.
	But let's get back to what's happening economically.
	As I said, we've seen a lot of interesting news.
	The stock market peaked just before the tax reform plan was passed, and so did Bitcoin.
	And as that became reality, we have seen both of them going downhill for since.
	And so when we look at what's happening, and we look at Bitcoin, for example, understand that Bitcoin is something of a hedge to the U.S. petrodollar, the fiat currency that we have.
	This is something, as I pointed out many times, you know, Kissinger and Nixon engineered us off of the gold standard, Bretton Woods 2, back in the 70s.
	And then they said, well, we're not going to back the dollar by gold anymore.
	We're going to create a petrodollar in alliance with Saudi Arabia.
	We were the largest importers of oil.
	They were the largest exporters of oil.
	And so what they did was they came up with an agreement that Saudi Arabia would buy our Federal Reserve paper, That they printed and in exchange would provide them with protection and defense and any and all of the military weapons that they wanted to buy.
	And so that agreement has been going for quite some time and it has resulted in the U.S. dollar becoming the reserve currency for the world.
	And by being the reserve currency for the world, we can just spend money like a drunken sailor and not suffer any consequences for a while.
	But that day is coming to an end.
	China has noticed. Russia has noticed.
	Many other countries have noticed.
	They want to, first of all, stop that advantage that we have.
	And then they want that advantage for themselves, obviously.
	So China is about to throw down the gauntlet to the petrodollar, reports RT. So the world's top oil importer is now China, not us.
	Because we're producing a lot more oil, thankfully.
	But now the world's top oil importer, China, is expected to launch its long-awaited, yet delayed, yuan-denominated oil futures contract at the end of March.
	In other words, the petroyuan to replace the petrodollar.
	The petroyuan is seen as Beijing's challenge to the U.S. dollar, the dominant global currency in oil settlement contracts.
	And it's interesting because the Chinese government has announced that they're going to sell these oil futures contracts, they're going to price them in yuan, and they will be convertible to gold.
	Now what did Kissinger do, right?
	He took us off the gold standard, put us on the petrodollar where we were joined at the hip with the Saudis, and then he opened up China as the manufacturing center for the open trade, world trade globalists.
	And they have prospered with that, and now they're going back and kind of setting up their currency on a quasi-gold standard.
	Isn't that interesting how they have gone full circle, taking everything away from the United States, including a sound currency, and now they are, did the Chinese figure out what was going on?
	They're pretty smart. Maybe they did.
	Maybe this was the plan all along by Kissinger and the globalists, but nevertheless we've gone full circle one way or the other.
	And so what they're saying is enabling the country's trading partners to pay either with gold, or they can convert it into the Chinese currency, or they can convert the Chinese currency directly into gold.
	In other words, folks, that's the same as saying that their currency is going to be backed by gold.
	Just as Kissinger and Nixon took us off of gold, they will now put the Chinese currency on gold.
	And they will use the leverage of what runs the world's energy, which is oil.
	It still is. It's going to be that way for quite some time.
	They don't have a reliable replacement for that.
	And so you're not going to have to keep your money in Chinese assets.
	You're not going to have to turn it into U.S. dollars.
	That's their plan. If they can't become the world's reserve currency, they will stop the United States from becoming the world's currency.
	And they hold a great deal.
	This is not a good thing economically.
	And this is why many people like John McAfee has said that his predictions for skyrocketing valuations of cryptocurrencies are based on the collapse of the American dollar.
	Because when you look at what's happening with the deficit, the way the GOP caved, the way the GOP took even the massive increases that President Trump had proposed for defense spending and bumped even that up.
	When you look at this, you've got a lot of people.
	We'll talk about that when we get to the budget.

	Saying this is the worst thing I've ever seen come out in terms of budgets.
	And we should be ashamed of ourselves.
	For Republicans saying we have to have a fiscal responsible government, fiscally responsible government, and then to vote for this budget-busting deficit budget is really a horrible thing.
	Because, you know, like I said yesterday, it's like Wile E. Coyote.
	We're at that moment where he's run off the cliff and he hasn't looked down and realized that there's nothing underneath him.
	But that day of reckoning is coming soon.
	And it may come when the dollar loses its power as the world's reserve currency.
	Because deficit spending is now back in style, says Politico.
	Yeah, let's go for it.
	Forget about it. You know, this is macroeconomics.
	You know, it matters if you run a deficit in your household.
	But if it's macroeconomics, if it's really big, the deficit doesn't matter.
	That's about as stupid as saying that gravity only matters for small objects around you, but if we get something as big as the United States, there is no gravity.
	I mean, that's the insanity of Keynesian economics, but it was created as an intellectual rationale for what they wanted to do, which is just print money without any connection to anything.
	And really, we had gone off the gold standard before it was made official.
	Everybody was complaining.
	About the fact that the U.S. government, the Federal Reserve, after World War II was just printing paper like there was no tomorrow.
	And they said, wait a minute, this isn't even remotely connected to gold.
	You said it was going to be connected to gold.
	And so they said, alright, forget it. We're off the gold standard officially.
	But we're still the world's reserve currency.
	And we'll use the oil industry to do that.
	Alright, so we're going to get to economics more later on.
	But this portrait that we saw of Obama and Michelle that everybody is talking about, I think the worst aspect of this Is this artist, Kehinde Wiley, I think is his name.
	The first African American to ever paint an official presidential portrait, which is filled with explicit racism in his past artwork.
	You take a look at this one picture here of a black woman with a sword in her hand who has just cut off the head of a white woman and is holding that head in the other hand.
	And the question is, who picked this guy to do the portrait?
	Well, I'm sure it was the Obamas.
	Because this is really the self-portrait of Michelle Obama, if you look at that picture.
	And the other question is, who paid for this official portrait?
	I think that's you, the U.S. taxpayer.

	You know, when you look at this, they like to say in these articles, well, you know, this painter, Kehinde Wiley, is famous for doing photorealistic human figures, distinct colors, and prominent use of floral backgrounds.
	Oh, there we go. Isn't that nice?
	Classic pictures and does them in a photorealistic environment, but then changes the people in there.
	Typically always black focused.
	Which is fine. It's okay to be black.
	It's also okay to be white.
	But they don't seem to think so.
	And the thing, when you look at this picture, pull that picture back up there again.
	When you look at this picture of the Woman holding the sword, arrogantly looking at you as she holds the head of a white woman she has just beheaded.
	This is based on The biblical story of Judith beheading an Assyrian general, except changing the people in there.
	But what this is about, folks, is this is about power transfer.
	And I think this is the real portrait of Michelle Obama, not the other one that is kind of monochromatic and people say, ah, it doesn't really look good.
	No, this is the real portrait of Michelle Obama.
	Remember when she said, for the first time in my life, I'm really proud of my country?
	Why is that? Because power had been transferred, and it was power that was based on race.
	And that's what everything the Obamas have been doing is based on race.
	Well, you say it's just artistic freedom, right?
	Since when has the left recently embraced any kind of artistic freedom or any kind of free speech?
	Not happening, right?
	Harvard, Berkeley rank among the ten worst schools for free speech.
	This is an article from the Washington Times, and this is data from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, also known as FIRE, F-I-R-E. That's the easy way to find them.
	The foundation's executive director said students, faculty, and administrators are going to, quote, greater and greater links to justify muzzling expression, freedom of expression on campus.
	Well, yeah, we've seen that over and over again, right?
	But they quantified it. They said, who is the worst?
	Well, The worst are Harvard and Berkeley.
	But rounding out the top ten in no particular order are Fordham University, Albion College in Michigan, Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, Drexel University in Philadelphia, Northwestern University in Illinois, Renesler Polytech Institute in New York, L.A. Community College, and Texas State University in San Marcos.
	Oh yeah, that's right. That's where we just had that A guy, the Aslan guy down there making threats, right?
	But Harvard and Berkeley are also in the top ten as the worst schools for free speech.
	Because, see, when the liberals will use free speech to get in power, then once they get in power, they take that away.
	Berkeley was where the free speech movement began in the 1960s, but they take that away.
	Then we have the lawsuits that are coming after Harvey Weinstein, and rumored that there are prosecutions coming as well.
	The Attorney General says, quote, we have never seen anything as despicable.
	And he's not talking about a Quentin Tarantino film.
	Now, if you think the Quentin Tarantino films are despicable, and I do, quite frankly, they are so despicable.
	Over the top and everybody goes, well, it was campy stuff and he's doing, you know, he's going back to the really cheap exploitation films and everything.
	Let me tell you something. That work of quote-unquote art...
	It's the expression of a very dark soul, just like this guy, the painter that we're looking at, but even more so with Quentin Tarantino and the guy who was his producer, Harvey Weinstein, for all those films.
	And that is coming out now, if there's any doubt about it.
	But if you had any discernment at all, when you watch these Tarantino films, you can see the darkness in them.
	No doubt about that whatsoever.
	Bill Murray has come out and he's talked about the GOP tax cuts.
	He thinks they're a good thing. Yeah.
	Good guy. He slammed identity politics and he applauded the reckoning against people like Harvey Weinstein and other sexual predators in Hollywood.
	He's been there. He knows what that's like.
	He knows how awful that is.
	And we know how awful it is because we have seen their films.
	I mean, so much of what comes out of Hollywood anymore, it just gets, every year it gets darker and darker.
	And you know this is coming from, like I said, a very dark soul, so it's no surprise to see what their private life is, that their private life is just as bad, maybe worse, than what they were putting out there for the public to consume.
	And they've been dragging America down into this dungeon where they live.
	This dungeon of sexual abuse as they go along.
	Let's listen to what Bill Murray had to say.
	So I wanted to ask you about the political discourse and where we are in terms of the country.
	It's a serious question for you, but I know you think about stuff like this.
	I mean, where are we? And how did we get here?
	And how did we get out of this? I don't know how we got...
	Well, you've sort of been watching it happen, and here we are, and it's Clash of Clans first thing in the morning every day, you know, where people are just going to war about so much.
	You know, it's interesting when this kind of movement happens, this kind of thing happens.
	It creates all kinds of sort of compost and fertilizer to make the next stage happen.
	So obviously things swing back and forth and they go this way or that.
	But it's what people do in that moment of not reacting but observing it and seeing it that changes.
	A lot of people felt like, okay, when this new politic comes now, It's going to make a new opportunity to join some people together.
	How can there be someone like Kristen Wiig that's really a funny person?
	How can Kristen Wiig make everyone laugh?
	She's not thinking about being political.
	She's thinking about what resonates and what is common to all of us.
	I think that that's harder and harder to do because people are trying to You know, try to win their point of view as opposed to saying, what if I spoke to everyone?
	My friend who's a great comedy writer, Jim Downey, he's accused of being a right-wing writer, a comedy writer, if there is such a thing.
	He says, no, no, I just think the way that the Democrats handle things is poor, where they try to pick out little pieces of a population that, well, we represent the Hispanics, we represent the LGBT or something.
	And they're not speaking to everyone at once.
	And it's almost demeaning to say, I'm choosing you because you're a splinter group or you're a certain minority group.
	There's almost a resentment that somehow you're separated again by a politician.
	You're my people.
	I'm in control of you.
	I represent you. Instead of thinking that each citizen has a right to be respected as a citizen for someone under the laws of the country.
	That is really, really important.
	You understand what he's saying? I've been talking about this as well.
	I mentioned the fact that the Democrat Party has really come to power using demographics.
	We're going to isolate this group and we're going to favor this group and we're going to punish other groups.
	And they've always been about that.
	They just change whichever groups they think are beneficial to them now or will be beneficial to them in the future.
	That's really what's going on with DACA right now.
	They want to replace the American population that's here.
	Legal immigrants and American citizens who have been here for generations, they want to replace us with people from abroad.
	That's going to be their new power base.
	And what he's saying, and I want to repeat that again, that's very important.
	He said the way Democrats are handling things is poor when they try to pick out little pieces of a population.
	We represent the Hispanics, I say, or we represent the LGBT or something else.
	And they're not speaking to everyone all at once.

	Hmm, kind of interesting. And then he talks about, how do you even do comedy anymore?
	We've had all these comedians.
	Not necessarily Trump supporters.
	John Cleese doesn't like Trump, but he says you can't do comedy anymore with the political correct environment that they have created.
	Identity politics, political correctness is killing us.
	They're even calling out Peter Rabbit, saying, oh, this is about food bullying and EpiPen.
	You can't even have a kid's film anymore with this stuff.

	Let's take a look at this article about alcohol and cannabis, comparing the two, before we go to the Olympics, because...
	There is a bit of a connection here, I think, perhaps.
	As we look at some of the stuff coming out here, you have to ask yourself, what were these people on?
	These commentators, the people creating the graphics and so forth.
	This is a story from the Daily Mail saying, unlike booze, marijuana does not affect the size or the integrity of white or gray matter in the brain.
	Even after years of exposure, gray matter enables the brain to function, while white matter controls communication between nerve clusters.
	I remember as a kid in junior high school, As part of their anti-drug education, they would show us the pictures of a guy, the brain of somebody that had been taken out.
	It wasn't Steven Paddock, of course, but they would show us a picture of someone's brain that had been removed who was a chronic alcoholic and show it compared to a normal brain, kind of like the Frankenstein thing.
	Abinormal here and the other brain.
	But seriously, it was amazing how the brain was physically affected, how it had shrunk, how it had changed color and so forth.
	I mean, there was a significant physiological thing you could see there.
	And then they talk to you about other drugs and so forth.
	You know, I'm of the school that I don't want to do anything that damages my brain.
	I need every bit of it.
	I could use more, actually.
	But I don't want to do anything that's going to affect my brain.
	But when you look at the law enforcement out there, look at the fact that they don't do anything about the opioid epidemic.
	I mean, where is the Department of Justice in terms of shutting down these big pharmaceutical companies that are pushing this drug on us?
	Just prohibit it. You think that works?
	It didn't work with alcohol prohibition, did it?
	It hasn't worked with marijuana prohibition, has it?
	But you keep telling us that it will.
	And you keep funding law enforcement.
	You keep funding your drug wars.
	I think so, you know, put your money where your mouth is.
	Put your laws and your police where your mouth is.
	If you think that prohibition works, then stop it for the opioids.
	But you won't do that, will you?
	So anyway, another example of how alcohol is the most dangerous drug that we have.
	They said while marijuana may have some negative consequences, it definitely is nowhere near the negative consequences of alcohol.
	I'm not recommending that you do either.
	I am recommending that we get off of this addiction to prohibition that we have and trying to solve all of society's ills by government and government at the highest level in Washington.
	That's true insanity.
	I guess we've got a lot of people who are brain damaged if they think that's going to work after 47 years of the drug war.
	But let's take a look at the reporting of the Olympics.
	We have an ABC affiliate in Chicago as they're reporting on the Olympics.
	They put up not Pyeongchang, but P.F. Chang, the food market.
	Of course, obviously, that's something that you would do normally, right?
	I told the guys in the crew, I said, I will never complain about you guys ever again, but they do a great job.
	They've never done that to me.
	Not yet, anyway. So, you know, we look at this, and we look at the fawning that is coming out of North Korea by the media.
	And, of course, I talked about this a great deal yesterday.
	The fact that if they can't tell the difference between P.F. Chang and Pyeongchang, they're not going to tell you that this sister of Kim Jong-un that they are worshipping is actually the vice director of the Workers' Party of Korea propaganda and agitation.
	Oh, what would she be doing there at the Olympics?
	Maybe propaganda and agitation?
	And who's helping her and assisting her in that?
	CNN and NBC, the people who are funding the Olympics?
	As I pointed out yesterday, 80% of their funding is coming from the broadcast revenue.
	And even as they see their ratings dropping significantly from previous years, they are doubling up.
	Doubling up on the amount of money that they spend to buy these Olympic contracts.
	It was $4 billion the last time they got it for several Olympics, and now they've just negotiated another contract for nearly double that, nearly $8 billion that NBC is paying to cover this.
	And that's 80% of the revenue of the Olympic Committee.
	And of course, the venue and everything that's there, that's all on the host country or the host city that is doing that.
	But as much money as they spend, and you look at this, they're...
	I did that report yesterday.
	I talked about how the mainstream media is carrying the torch for the Olympics.
	It is a love affair.
	And carrying the torch for North Korea.
	But really, that torch, I think, is fueled by cash from NBC. And even though they spent massive amount of cash on Megyn Kelly, $25 million contract, they left her behind.
	Whoa, what does that tell you?
	Bad news for Megyn Kelly.
	And yet, look at her set.
	Pull up the picture, pull up the next article there about Megyn Kelly.
	She's got video walls that make it look like she's in Pyeongchang.
	It looks like windows.
	So here I am. I'm in a big studio with glass windows.
	And see, you can see PyeongChang in the background here.
	Well, no, actually. Megyn Kelly is closer to P.F. Chang than she is to PyeongChang.
	And then they sent Katie Couric.
	And she actually delivered great comedy for us.
	She said, as you know, Holland, because she was talking about how the Dutch were doing really well in skating, she said, as you know, as you know, it has lots of canals that freeze in winter, so for as long as those canals have existed, the Dutch have skated on them to get from place to place, to race each other, and also have fun.
	She's just making this stuff up.
	And they called her out on it.
	It's like a great series USA Today ad of tweets out there.
	Katie Couric talks about why the Netherlands is so good at speed skating.
	This is why folks, this folks is why Americans are less bright about the rest of the world and spreading fake news.
	And so then people put up Some tweets.
	And here's this one right here. You've got a windmill in the background.
	You've got a big crowd of speed skaters in front of it.
	And the caption, Rush Hour in the Netherlands.
	Another one. This is true.
	This is me skating to work at the Cheese Factory last Friday.
	Or a typical morning commute for the windmill workers of Amsterdam.
	And then another one.
	Yes, a few of us skate to work the five days that we have ice on average.
	The other 360 days we either stay home or sometimes we use bikes, cars, or trains to get to work.
	And then finally, we've got this map.
	And a guy has drawn a route all over Holland.
	He goes, busy day ahead. I've got meetings in 11 cities.
	Better sharpen my ice skates.
	And Katie Couric wasn't the only one.
	Another guy delivered for us.
	And he was subsequently fired.

	This is another person reporting for NBC News.
	Joshua Cooper Ramo.

	So, in other words, it's like saying, yes, we all love Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin.
	Well, actually, they do love Joseph Stalin and the left-wing media.
	They've never, never brought themselves to criticize what he did.
	Or Mao. Just like the people.
	I was surprised when we went to China to adopt my daughter how many massive posters and memorabilia there is of Chairman Mao, even though he killed tens, many tens of millions of people.
	The estimates are all over the place, but there's no question that he caused massive starvation as well as political oppression on the scale that we had with Stalin and with Hitler.
	And so, you know, these guys, they are examples for us.
	You know, Hitler made trains run on time, and perhaps so did Japan, as they did a bloody occupation of Korea.
	That guy is no longer with NBC. That was bad enough, stupid enough.

	We're going to get into the budget, into DACA, into the infrastructure plan, into the memo as we come back in the next segment.
	But here at the top of the hour, I wanted to cover a story that came out last couple of days.
	And it's about a former district judge and school board member who has been convicted.
	He pled guilty.
	I'm sorry, not convicted. He pled guilty to 21 counts of human trafficking.
	This happened last Friday.
	This judge threatened young women and girls under the age of 18 with arrest in order to force them into sex.
	On one occasion, a victim was living on his property, and he was going to evict her if she did not have sex with him.
	And he also gave numerous victims heroin.
	And he also gave numerous victims heroin.
	This is a guy who was a judge in a district court.
	And he was also very big in county politics.
	Oh, by the way, this town is California, Kentucky.
	Just in case you stay away from any town that would name itself after California because you're likely to end up with judges like this.
	But he was a Republican.
	And they tried to taint President Trump with him.
	Oh, he was the county chair.
	He was the chair of the Trump campaign in that particular county of Kentucky.
	Look, this is a guy who was filthy, very connected in politics.
	And so, and I've just got information here that the judge has refused to withdraw the arrest warrant for Julian Assange.
	Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
	We'll have more information on that coming up in the next segment as well.
	But going back to the story about the judge, 21 counts of child trafficking.
	And again, President, how many counties do you think there are in the U.S.? Probably thousands, right?
	Several thousand. Do you think Trump knew this guy?
	You know, you try to taint him with that.
	Certainly he was connected to the Republican Party, and we've seen this happening in the Republican Party.
	We had Dennis Hastert, who was groomed to become a Republican congressman.
	They knew that he was involved in pedophilia.
	That went back a very, very long time, to the point that he was a wrestling coach in high school.
	They selected this guy.
	Then they moved him all the way up to Speaker of the House, left him there longer than any other Republican.
	I think anybody else has been Speaker of the House, I think, including Democrats.
	But certainly longer than any Republican has been Speaker of the House.
	So this is something that is a bipartisan issue.
	But let me talk about something else here that's coming out of Delaware.
	You know, I just talked about Delaware last week and how the governor there wanted to sign a bill that said that your kids in kindergarten through 12th grade can decide whatever gender they want to be, whatever race they want to be, And they can change their name and they don't have to tell the parents about it.
	We will be the protection between you and your parents.
	And I talked about how outrageous and insane that was.
	And now, coming out of the same state, coming out of Delaware, we have a bill coming from a Democrat.
	It's called the Delaware End of Life Options Act.
	And what he is pushing is assisted suicide.
	It has an amendment which says that intellectually disabled, terminally ill people may be killed.
	And he says, these are people who can't legally enter contracts.
	Oh, therefore, if you can't legally enter a contract, you need to be killed, right?
	They can't control where they live.
	They can't make their own medical decisions.
	Hey, is he describing dreamers?
	Or is he describing people that he wants to kill?
	See, here's your compassionate Democrats, right?
	They hide behind this veneer of compassion.
	They can't control where they live.
	They can't make their own medical decisions.
	They can't vote pursuant to the Delaware Constitution.
	It doesn't even require approval of a guardian, as would corrective surgery or treatment, to cure somebody or to alleviate their pain.
	Okay, this is coming out of Delaware.
	And there was an interesting article on Dresch today saying that Florida has the most number of convicted felons who are not allowed to vote individually.
	You know, we have a chart here from a stately showing what each state has the most of.
	Like, Texas has the most pet tigers per capita.
	It's kind of weird. But Delaware has the most sex offenders per capita.

	You know, it was a week ago that Julian Assange went to court.
	They made arguments saying he should be allowed to go.
	He's already been confined to the Ecuadorian embassy longer than he would have been sent to jail for avoiding this arrest warrant that we had in the U.K., And immediately the mainstream news media came out and said, he goes back to the Ecuadorian embassy.
	They refused it. They refused it.
	He said, no, it's going to be another week.
	Well, we've now had the judge make her statement.
	And she has decided that she's going to not take away the arrest warrant.
	Julian Assange will continue to face detention if he leaves the Ecuadorian embassy in London after a British judge upheld a warrant for his arrest.
	She was not persuaded, reports the Guardian, not persuaded by the argument by Assange's legal team that it was not in the public interest to pursue him for skipping bail.
	They quit providing information about how many millions of dollars they spent to try to guard him, to keep him from escaping the embassy.
	Yeah, it is not in the UK's special interest here.
	Not in the interest of the taxpayers.
	But it is in the interest of their government, their surveillance state, that is closely aligned with the deep state surveillance here.
	It is really America that is imprisoning him.
	And President Trump needs to shut this down.
	These are the same people coming after President Trump.
	And Julian Assange has done amazing service to not only this country, but to the world.
	He has exposed and brought to light information that they have tried to hide, and that's why they hate him.
	But we have to have that kind of transparency.
	We must have that kind of transparency.
	Everybody, Republican and Democrat, ought to support his release, ought to support the fact that we cannot allow a government to hide everything from us, which is what they want to do.
	We saw that with the most recent memo.
	There was absolutely no reason for that to be classified.
	And that, I thought, was the most amazing revelation, that that Nunes memo was classified as top secret.
	This is really criminal, what they're doing to Julian Assange.
	The best reporter, his organization, WikiLeaks, they have released so much vital information to expose the crimes and the criminal inside workings of not only our government, but Hillary Clinton and others, the Clinton Foundation.
	And this guy ought to be given a medal.
	He ought to be given the Nobel Peace Prize.
	He ought to be given the Pulitzer Prize.
	And instead he gets detention.
	Summers said the years that Assange has spent inside the embassy, that's his lawyer, were adequate.
	punishment for his actions inside a report by UN committee which said the Australian national was being arbitrarily detained he was framed by Sweden Sweden dropped the investigation for him that was the basis of the arrest warrant by the UK and yet even just as we see with President Trump even as they drop the fundamental charge it's still the prosecution the persecution continues right there is no obstruction of justice There is no Russian collusion.
	Yet the special prosecutor continues to go along and continues to investigate and so forth.
	There is no charge against Julian Assange from Sweden.
	And yet the British continue to say, we're going to arrest him if he comes out.
	Because we had this charge once upon a time, an extradition charge from Sweden.
	And even though that's been dropped, and even though there's no criminal charges against him in Sweden, we're going to still go against it.
	Because they've got a different agenda, folks.
	We all see that. We all see that.
	President Trump should shut that down.
	Really should shut that down.
	If he wasn't concerned about too many powerful people in the intelligence community, he would shut that down.
	The information that he exposed of Hillary Clinton just at the State Department was the thing that really got him on their list.
	And we needed to know about that.
	And there's a lot of things.
	He played a vital role.
	Role in the election, keeping us from getting that criminal as president.
	As Julian Assange said, I don't know about President Trump, but I do know that Hillary Clinton is a very violent criminal.
	And the world is going to be worse if she becomes president.
	And so yeah, he exposed a lot of information that we all needed to know.
	It wasn't hacking our election, it was informing our election.
	That was the service that he provided.
	Alright, let's talk about the budget situation.
	And as a prelude to this, we've got the Department of Education saying, we're done being involved with transgender students and bathrooms.
	The Department of Education has decided that it will not investigate or interfere if any transgender students complain that they're being barred from bathrooms that match their chosen gender.
	And I was just talking about that, the Delaware situation where the governor is pushing, ready to sign a law, saying that once you surrender your kids to the school, because that's the way they see it, they're going to act in place of the parents.
	And they're going to tell the kids, you pick whatever gender you want to be, whatever race you want to be, you pick your own name, and we will stand in the gap and protect you from your parents.
	That's the Delaware governor.
	And then I just told you about the law that they have to kill anybody that they think is mentally incompetent.
	These compassionate Democrats out there.
	And coincidentally, Delaware has the most number of pedophiles, of convicted sex criminals, per capita of any state in the country.
	No coincidence there, is there?
	Because the bottom line is when you start pushing this transgender stuff, what you're doing is you're pushing the idea that these kids who can decide what gender they are, well, they can make a decision about sex, too, right?
	I mean, if you can decide, if you're mature enough to understand all these issues involved in gender and kindergarten, well then, as a kindergartner, you can give your consent.
	You can want it, as Quentin Tarantino said, right?
	Covering for his friend, covering for Roman Polanski and these other people.
	You're a consenting kindergartner.
	No, there is no such thing.
	And if they can't consent to sex, which they can't, then why would they understand all these issues about gender?
	That's going to...
	You can't have those two conditions existing at the same time.
	They're going to use that to overthrow the statutory rape laws that we have.
	because they've already set up pedophile crimes so that there is a very, very short statute of limitations so these people can get away with it.
	But let's go back to what the Department of Education is doing.
	They said that the restroom complaints from transgender students are not covered by a 1972 federal civil rights law called Title IX.
	And the spokesperson from the Department of Education says, The law says, Title IX says, that it prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, not on the basis of gender identity.
	Understand? Your gender identity is not your sex.
	Let's not pretend that it is.
	But here's the problem.
	And this reflects on this whole budget discussion.
	Why do we even have a Department of Education?
	Why can't we get rid of a Department of Education?
	Look at the mischief that they're involved in here.
	Pushing under Obama these transgender bathroom issues.
	It's because we gave them the power.
	And when you give that much power to an agency that shouldn't even exist, that's the logical consequence of that.
	So let's get the Fed out of Ed.
	There's a slogan for you.
	Maybe we could do a t-shirt. Get the Fed out of Ed.
	Out of education. The federal government has no role in education.
	It exists only to push an agenda.
	A social behavioral control agenda.

	Nobody who is in Congress right now grew up with a Department of Education.

	Let's take a look at what's happening in Washington as far as spending goes on the priorities of the two different parties.
	A good example of this is the Unaccountable Consumer Financial Protection Board or the Consumer Phony Pocahontas Board because Elizabeth Warren had a great deal to do with creating this.
	This is a story from The New American pointing out that this organization was created in 2010 You know, I was talking about the Department of Education, just part of this.
	That was something that was created by Jimmy Carter in the middle of his four-year administration.
	President Reagan campaigned on the fact that he was going to get rid of the Department of Education, but he nurtured it into a full-blown bureaucracy instead, and it's been growing in its influence and its spending ever since, in a very bad way.
	And the same thing has happened with this CFPB, 2010.
	You know, it's a good thing, isn't it, to have education?
	Well, that doesn't mean that we necessarily have schools like we do.
	It doesn't mean that the federal government dictates what's going to be taught or dictates what's going to happen in the bathrooms and so forth or dictates a curriculum like Common Core.
	In the same way, we want to have protection of consumer finances, right?
	We want to protect them from being exploited.
	This is something that was welcomed by big business and big banks.
	The people that were supporting Dodd and Frank and Pocahontas, Elizabeth Warren.
	And it's fairly recent, 2010.
	It's already turned into a monster.
	Let me give you an example from the New American story.
	The CFPB didn't take very long to become notorious.
	One of its first acts was to completely and lavishly renovate its own headquarters.
	Sounds just like a government bureaucracy in Washington, doesn't it?
	Which, in typical Washington fashion, succumbed to ever-rising cost estimates.
	So, first they're going to have a lavish renovation.
	And then they have cost overruns and budgets exploding.
	It then began participating, remember this?
	Operation Chokepoint.
	Remember that from a couple of years ago?
	That was Obama's attempt to strong-arm banks into closing accounts of legal businesses that happened to be operating in markets that they didn't approve of, like guns.
	Remember? When they tried to tell banks, these are people who are selling ammunition, they're selling firearms, so we don't want you doing business with them.
	The same thing that they're now trying to do to Bitcoin, right?
	So it's called Operation Choke Point.
	You have a firearms business.
	We're going to choke you out of the banking system.
	That was being run through the Consumer Financial Protection Board.
	And then they go on and quote from a Reason article.
	It said, unlike other independent agencies that are not under the direct supervision of Congress or the President, Remember as you had the guy resign from the Consumer Protection Board and the number two said, I'm in charge here.
	Then Al Haig and President Trump said, no, you're not.
	I'm going to pick the next person there.
	And then there was an argument and a lawsuit and so forth.
	That's the arrogance of this bureaucracy.
	And so they're not under the direct supervision of Congress or the President.
	There's other agencies that aren't either.
	But the CPFB was given a single director.
	Other agencies that aren't under the direct control of Congress or the President have at least three or five commissioners.
	But this one got a single one.
	In theory, that was meant to insulate the Bureau from political influence.
	But in practice, it made the director one of the most powerful people in the federal government.
	So powerful that the deputy director said to the president, you don't get to pick who's running this agency.
	I'm going to...
	It's like some kind of a hereditary seat or something for her.
	She was the number two.
	She immediately takes office.
	That lack of accountability, points out New American, has led predictably to a series of scandals No one in Congress is able to hold the agency accountable.
	And it's no wonder that they have abused their power and misused hundreds of millions of dollars.
	And I'll give you just one example from this lengthy article.
	From 2014 to 2017, the CFPB spent $11 million each year to rent office space in a building that was owned by an Obama fundraiser.
	That's right! The rent was nearly a million dollars per month paid to an Obama fundraiser.
	That's how Washington works.
	So let's take a look at the budget.
	Because, you know, there's absolutely nothing, according to Democrats, that can be cut.
	We can't do that. And if you talk about cutting taxes, they become deficit hawks.
	You can't do that.
	You're stealing money out of the Treasury, said Bernie Sanders.
	Chucky Schumer, this is theft.
	They're stealing our money. We need this money to buy votes.
	We need this money to hand out to our donors million-dollar-a-month rental contracts.
	So you can't do that. We got the top Democrat on the House of Representatives Budget Committee, John Yarmuth, said these cuts to critical federal investments are so extreme they can only reflect a disdain for working families.
	Oh no, that's your amnesty for illegal aliens.
	That's the disdain for working families.
	And a total lack of vision for a stronger society, he said in a statement.
	Well, what is it that is so bad about all this?
	And will Aaron Burnett Call the Democrats out on their hypocrisy about the tax cuts.
	Of course not. Now they're concerned about too much cutting.
	Because Aaron Burnett said, hey, you know, you guys are Rand Paul.
	You're complaining, and you should, about the hypocrisy of Republicans who said we need to cut spending.
	And yet you guys cut tax revenue.
	And he says, well, you know, you can cut spending and you can cut tax revenue.
	That's one way to get there.
	But now we've got President Trump's budget proposed yesterday.
	And as Reuters is summarizing it, it calls for cuts in domestic spending and social programs like Medicare.
	And it seeks a sharp increase in military spending and funding for a wall on the Mexican border.
	How about taking some of that military spending and...
	And instead of continuing these wars that we've now lost count of, how many of them we have, most of them futile efforts to occupy a country like Afghanistan or futile efforts to have regime change in Syria.
	I mean, they may eventually achieve that goal.
	They may drive Assad out, but they're not going to get any kind of society or peace in its place.
	It's just going to be another center of instability like they've created in Libya and Afghanistan and elsewhere.
	But let's bring the troops home.
	As Rand Paul said, let's have a parade, celebrate the victory, call to victory, and let's make this wall, how about making the wall, defense bending?
	I mean, can we make the case that we should defend our borders?
	Can't President Trump, by executive order, say, let's build the wall as a defense program?
	I mean, we can build missiles, we can put them in the sea.
	Mattis is wanting to do that.
	Sea-based, intercontinental nuclear missiles to defend the country, but we can't defend the borders.
	Take the troops to the border, and unless and until you build the wall, we use the troops to protect the American border.
	How about that? How about that?
	I mean, wouldn't that be a good idea?
	We have massive accumulation of military-style weapons right there at the Mexican border have been discovered.
	We've had more people killed in Mexico with the drug war that we have pushed along with the United Nations.
	And interestingly enough, in this budget, we have an increase for the United Nations.
	In Trump's budget, an increase in funding for the United Nations.
	Why? Because they said we've got to fund the war on drugs.
	Yeah, the war on drugs, folks, is a UN agenda.
	Why are we buying into this insanity?
	Why are we buying into this insanity that sets Mexico and Central America on fire, as well as our own country?
	And if they've got a war where tens of thousands of people are being killed there, far more than are dying in Afghanistan, for example.
	Why can't we use the American military as a human wall and use defense spending to build a wall on the border?

	Let's drill down into this budget a little bit and get some details because we've got the Democrats saying, oh, this is horrible.
	It's going to eviscerate the welfare state.
	Always pushing for more spending.
	And then President Trump is pushing For increased military spending, this is his budget.
	We just had a budget that was passed last week, and we're going to get to the difference between those two budgets.
	Passed last week, and he had a lot of people, Jim Jordan, Mo Brooks, and others, Rand Paul, saying, this is not what we're about.
	Well, President Trump cut that budget by $57 billion.
	It calls for spending that is $57 billion less for fiscal year 2019 than was mandated in the two-year budget deal that was just passed by Congress.
	So let's talk about how he gets these cuts.
	First of all, Medicare spending.
	Cut by $236 billion over the next 10 years.
	You might say, wait a minute, wait a minute.
	Medicare spending. They point out this is going to be done with reforms rather than cutting benefits for the elderly.
	Do you think that there's that much over 10 years?
	I mean, we're talking about $23.5 billion a year.
	Do you think you could cut that much from the bureaucracy?
	That's why I began with that story about the Consumer Protection Financial Board and how lavish their spending is.
	There's a lot that can be done to cut the bureaucracy in Washington without cutting the benefits for the recipients.
	And so I'm not skeptical that could be done at all.
	I think that could be easily achieved.
	But again, when we look at this, when we look at the, as they point out in Reuters, they call it a sharp increase in military spending and funding for a wall.
	Let's combine those two.
	I mean, why isn't putting America first?
	Why isn't putting America first putting America's borders first?
	Why can't we put our borders before we put Afghanistan's borders?
	Understand that all of this open-border stuff, all this Dreamer nonsense, all this DACA nonsense, this is about an invasion.
	It is about a regime change that is being plotted by the globalists.
	It is an order of the first magnitude in terms of our security.
	As I said before, these three things, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, these multilateral, supranational trade agreements...
	Both the Trans-Pacific and the Trans-Atlantic partnerships, those were designed to destroy America's sovereignty, to take away our ability to work and to manage which industries and which countries were going to be allowed to thrive and which ones would be destroyed.
	And so it is imperative for the existence of our country to continue, for that to be taken down.
	And Trump did that, day one. TPP was an existential threat, and so was the Paris Climate Treaty, because it did all of that, plus it added a global tax for a global government.
	But the open borders are also an existential issue.
	And although most of the Republican voters who elected President Trump don't understand the existential threats of the Trans-Pacific Partnership or the Paris Climate Treaty, they understand they're bad things.
	They don't like them. TPP, that's a bad deal.
	Or Paris Climate Treaty.
	Something that Obama's doing and, you know, it's climate change stuff.
	I don't believe in climate change. I don't want to see that.
	Well, they don't understand the existential threats necessarily for those two things, but they do understand the existential threat from open borders.
	And the defense of this country should be defending us against existential threats.
	That's why I say, use the military budget to build the wall.
	Bring the troops home.
	Put them on the border while the wall is being built.
	If you tell people that we're going to give you a path to citizenship if you're here and you came here illegally...
	Then what you're doing is, has been called in the past, the Obama effect.
	When Obama used the memo from Janet Reno to say, we're not going to enforce the law that we swore to upheld.
	We're not going to enforce the immigration law.
	That's the responsibility of Homeland Security.
	But we're not going to do that. We're going to defer action.
	That's just saying we're not going to do our job.
	We're not going to enforce the laws.
	And when they did that, it created a massive exodus across the border.
	Even Two years later, in 2014, Hillary Clinton was even saying, we can't tell people that if you get across the border, you're entitled to stay here.
	We can't do that.
	We cannot do that.
	It's absolutely insane.
	And so it is an issue that is an existential threat.
	And if we cannot summon the Defense Department to physically do something when there is an existential threat to this country, then what are they for?
	What are they for? Oh, that's right.
	It's a tool of the global government, of the military-industrial complex.
	It's not about our security at all.
	And that shows that it's not.
	But that's really what they ought to do.
	They ought to combine those two things together.
	Really put America first.
	But let's take a look at something that was really good that I had not seen before.
	Maybe you've seen it. White House wants to deliver food to the poor.
	I don't think anybody's seen this because I'm going to tell you what happened to some stocks as soon as this was announced.
	This is new. White House wants to deliver the food to the poor.
	Blue apron style.
	In other words, instead of giving people a cash voucher that can then be subject to fraud and abuse, here's your EBT card.
	Budget Director Mick Mulvaney described the Trump administration's proposal to replace nearly half of poor Americans' monthly cash benefits with a box of food.
	We're told that that's what this is for.
	And so let's just give them the food.
	We can buy the food in bulk.
	We can give it to them.
	Make sure that they're not using this on the black market.
	Make sure they're not buying, I don't know, lobster or whatever in the grocery store.
	Check out, you know, we've had a lot of people talk about this.
	I saw this person getting all these luxury foods and paying for them with an EBT card.
	You've heard that story. Many times you've heard that story.
	Well, instead, he said, let's use the USDA America's Harvest Box.
	He said it's a bold, innovative approach to provide nutritious food to people who need assistance feeding themselves and their families.
	And all of it is homegrown by American farmers and producers.
	And so it would affect households that receive at least $90 a month in food stamps.
	So instead of giving people food stamps or EBT cards, give them the food.
	Give them the food. The box would be valued at about half of the SNAP recipient's monthly benefit.
	The remainder of their benefits would still be given to them on EBT cards as before.
	And they said it would save nearly $130 billion over 10 years and reduce the potential for fraud.
	See, this is a great idea.
	This is a great idea.
	This is what I would expect.
	From somebody who is an outsider, somebody who is a businessman like Trump, this is a brilliant idea.
	I love this idea. Families would not know what food they would get in advance, they say, the naysayers, and they wouldn't have any choice regarding what they receive.
	Well, you know, there's an old saying, beggars can't be choosers.
	We are trying to eliminate fraud and abuse, and that's the bottom line.
	I said, oh, this is a risky scheme that threatens families' ability to put food on the table.
	The families aren't putting the food on the table.
	The taxpayer is putting the food on the table.
	And the taxpayer has a right to make sure that their money is not being wasted or that they're not being defrauded.
	And in the wake of this, this is why I say that I think this is a brand new proposal here.
	Shortly after 1 p.m.
	Eastern Time yesterday, as information of this program came out for the first time, Shares of Dollar General and Dollar Tree tumbled.
	They say it's one of the biggest shake-ups of the U.S. food stamp program in the five-decade history.
	Good, because it hasn't been working very well.
	People need to be fed?
	Let's give them the food.
	Fine. Okay? That's not the responsibility, I don't think, of government.
	Certainly not the responsibility of the federal government.
	But if we're going to do it, let's actually give them the food.
	And not food stamps.
	Not some kind of pseudo-currency that can then be used.
	Alright, so let's take a look at what else is in the budget.
	That's, to me, the high point of the budget.
	That is a brilliant idea.
	But let's look at some things that are not so brilliant.
	Not such good ideas.
	As I said before, the funding for the UN is actually going to be increased under Trump's proposal by 4.5%.
	And they explain the increase as saying that it supports America's interests, such as...
	Drug control. No, that's the United Nations interest.
	It's the United Nations that created the schedule of drugs and put all of these drugs in each of the schedules for us.
	And they did it 10 years before Richard Nixon copied it verbatim and called it his war on drugs.
	No. This is the United Nations are the ones that are behind this insane prohibition program for which there is no constitutional authority, by the way.
	So they've increased the budget of the UN. And then we have, alongside that, we do have some real cuts.
	31% to the EPA, 29% cut to the State Department, 20% cut to both the Department of Labor and the Department of Agriculture.
	So there's some really good stuff in here, but you know what they didn't do?
	They didn't defund NPR! But President Trump did in his budget, which is $57 billion less.
	He did propose... Mike in Arizona, you're on the air worldwide.
	Go ahead. Oh, Alex, you can rant any day of the week.

	Welcome back. We're going to look at the budget a little bit more, and then we're going to take a look at DACA, because that is being rammed through very quickly through the Congress this week.
	Very important issue, as I said before.
	It is an existential threat to this country.
	We've had the Obama effect.
	We said, ah, y'all come.
	We're not going to enforce any laws.
	We're not going to enforce the immigration laws.
	We're not going to protect the border. Y'all come.
	And they did. Massive numbers.
	We had no control over who came in.
	Even people who want to support illegal immigration need to understand that if you just have wide open borders, MS-13 follows them in.
	And we've seen that in spades in Virginia, in Long Island, New York.
	We've seen massive numbers of MS-13.
	They estimate that in Suffolk County, they have 400 MS-13 gang members in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
	And who are they attacking?
	Right now, they're attacking fellow Hispanic immigrants.
	Illegal aliens who came here who were in taxpayer-funded schools are being attacked by MS-13.
	Why? Because we have no borders.
	That's why I said this is an existential threat.
	If we're going to have a Defense Department, it's absurd that we don't defend our borders.
	So it's absolutely crazy.

	All right, let's go back to this.
	I just mentioned before the Congress couldn't even defund NPR. Now, President Trump has proposed defunding NPR. This is something that they've been talking about, the Republicans have been talking about for 20 years.
	I've got comments from a couple of congressmen here talking about that.
	And you would think, as they point out in the American conservative, they say, you would think That at least with the sexual harassment that we've seen at the Center for Public Broadcasting, which funds NPR, the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and so forth. You hear that repeated, that mantra repeated all the time on public television.
	You would think that with that sexual scandal that they just had there, that now would be the time to strike.
	But no, the Republicans chose not to do that.
	Now, President Trump has proposed eliminating federal funding for PBS, for NPR, But understand that you'll have some big pockets liberal globalists like George Soros probably pick up the funding for that.
	That's fine. At least they can do it on their own tab.
	At least we don't have to be propagandized with our own money.
	But let's play what Jim Jordan said about the GOP budget.
	Not Trump's budget, but the GOP budget.
	Trump's budget is slightly smaller, but here's what they had to say about it.
	It's still a bit too large. Here's what I know, Chris.
	This was not consistent with what the American people elected us to do, not consistent with what we told them we were going to do.
	And in your first segment with Mick, look, he said we don't have 60 votes in the Senate to get some things done.
	And I'm all for changing the Senate rule.
	But last time I checked, Democrats don't have 60 votes in the Senate either.
	And last time I checked, there's more Republicans in the Senate than there are Democrats, more Republicans in the House than there are Democrats, and there's a Republican in the White House.
	So this deal, which increased spending $300 billion, second largest spending increase in a decade, second only to the stimulus, was not what we said we would do.
	And we're going to have to fight harder now as the Freedom Caucus and conservatives to get things back on track.
	When you say that there are more Republicans than Democrats and a Republican in the White House, are you saying, in effect, the Democrats won and the Republicans caved?
	No, I'm saying the swamp won and the American taxpayer lost.
	And here's the frustrating thing.
	We were so poised to win.
	Three weeks ago, we sent a bill to the Senate.
	Chuck Schumer shut down the government, didn't pay our troops because he said amnesty was more important.
	Earlier last week, the House sent the same bill, the exact same bill to the Senate, except we did one thing different.
	We funded the military for the entire year.
	And instead of standing firm in that position, our leadership said, no, no, no.
	Let's do what Washington always does.
	Let's just spend more on everything.
	Let's just grow government, give in to the Democrats instead of fight and stand firm and do what the people elect us to do.
	They gave in to the Democrats and we got this boondoggle that we passed.
	I didn't vote for it, but that passed on Friday morning.
	And again, as I said before, that's a bit too big, isn't it?
	That's way too big.
	We got the federal government doing all kinds of things it doesn't have the authority to do.
	All kinds of things that it doesn't do well.
	And we continue to fund that.
	And we continue to elect Republicans who say they're not going to do that.
	And as I point out last week when this happened, I said, look at the spirit of bipartisanship exhibited here between Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer, where they both fund big pork barrel projects in their districts or their states.
	And the same thing happened with many of these other people who are key votes in this.
	This is not a Republican-Democrat issue.
	This is the... The entirety of the Democrat Party and the majority of the Republican Party that just wants to continue to grow government.
	The only people there who want to cut it are the House Freedom Caucus.
	The rest of the people are just co-opted by this corrupt system.
	They are the swamp. And here's what Mo Brooks had to say.
	I'm comfortable with Paul Ryan. Do I have reservations about busting through the spending caps last week in non-defense matters?
	Absolutely. I mean, here's where we proposed a budget last year and we fought over it with the Democrats.
	The Democrats wanted a budget up here.
	The compromise was way up here.
	That's craziness. And yes, so I have reservations about the threat that poses to the United States of America going forward.
	I have reservations about the impact that's going to have on the stock market.
	You've already seen a depressing effect there.
	I have reservations about escalating interest rates that are going to make it more costly to do business for people to buy homes.
	There are a lot of cascading effects.
	To what was done last week, in my judgment, it was the worst piece of legislation I have voted on since I've been in the United States Congress, and there's not another bill that's a close second.
	That's how bad that debt junkie's dream bill was last week.
	But it passed. I wish it hadn't.
	We are where we are. And for the record, Mo Brooks said he wasn't just...
	All right. He calls it a debt junkie's dream.
	And we're talking about dreams.
	Let's talk about the dreamers. You know, he also said in that interview, he said, we're turning the U.S. into the world's orphanage.
	Into the world's orphanage.
	That is the perfect distillation of what we're talking about here, folks.
	Not only are we on the path to insolvency and bankruptcy, but that's the key way that it's being done.
	We talked about Cloward and Piven.
	The economists who said, you know, you can't have a welfare state and open borders at the same time.
	It'll bankrupt the country.
	So let's do it!
	Because we're socialists and we want to destroy America so we can rebuild our socialist utopia.
	And that's exactly what we're doing right now.
	We're following their blueprint.
	We're turning the U.S. into the world's orphanage.
	We're turning the U.S. into the world's school.
	And what's even worse is what we're teaching them in the school.
	We're creating monsters in the government schools.
	Their agenda of social engineering is a horrible thing to teach people.
	I mean, the worst thing...
	I'll tell people, Central America, Mexico, don't send your kids here.
	We're teaching them the worst stuff in the world.
	Yeah, they get a free education.
	The worst stuff that they could possibly put in somebody's head here.
	But yeah, we are the world's orphanage.
	Let's take a look at the way this is working out.
	You know, everybody can come here and the governor of New York wants to give illegal aliens, dreamers they call them, want to give them free college education.
	Because they're going to be the vanguard of tomorrow's socialist majority.
	And so let's start by giving them the free education.
	Let's give them in-state tuition.
	Because, hey, they're not from America anyway, so, you know, they go to any state they want to and they get free in-state tuition or in-state tuition subsidies, rather.
	But free tuition in New York if the governor there, Governor Cuomo, has his way.
	Well, look at the way that American students, college students, are treated in Sweden.
	We have an American student, Miranda Anderson, was told to leave Sweden after she didn't have enough money in her bank account for a very short period.
	They're required to have...
	You're going to go to school in Sweden.
	You're going to pay for your education.
	You're going to pay for everything.
	And you've got to have...
	More than $10,000 in your bank account.
	$10,126 is the minimum amount you can have in your bank account.
	She had transferred some money to her parents' account in the U.S. for safekeeping.
	And her balance dropped temporarily under that $10,000 limit.
	And they said, alright, gotta go.
	You don't have enough money to go to school here in Sweden.
	But what do we do? We beg the world to send us their children so we can educate them at the expense of the American taxpayer.
	Yeah, we are the world's orphanage.

	Welcome back, I'm David Knight, and joining us in this next hour will be Lynn Ulbrich.
	She is the mother of Ross Ulbrich, who is at the center of the Silk Road trial.
	He's now been sentenced to multiple life sentences in a case that looks exactly like the Bundy trial, except there wasn't an honest person in the federal government, in his case, to blow the whistle.
	But the parallels are amazing.
	So even though the issues are completely different, the underlying issues are completely different, the federal government will pull out all the stops to get the conviction that they want.
	So we're going to be talking to her about both of these cases and how important it is, regardless of what you think about either one of these issues.
	You may disagree with the Silk Road website selling things that the government doesn't approve of.
	You may disagree with the statements of the Bundy family on the Constitution and the way the Bureau of Land Management is acting and conducting itself.
	But the issue is bigger than that.
	Because if we don't have a real Justice Department, if we don't have a real legal system, if they can do anything they want to, they will do anything they want to to you as well.
	So that's a very important interview that is coming up in this next hour.
	Let's continue on with what is going on with the DACA Dreamer issue.
	That is going to be happening this week.
	This is something that we'll be going through this week as John Cornyn, one of the big players in this, said that they're rushing this to a vote on Thursday.
	So today is Tuesday. Thursday they're going to rush this through and as John Cornyn is saying this is going to be done or not done this week, people better get to work because the clock is ticking.
	And I would say to you that if you don't want to see this country destroyed, you better get to work.
	Better pick up the phone and call them.
	I don't think enough people called on this budget buster deal that went through, and now we're stuck with that.
	And we didn't put any pressure, the public did not put any pressure on these Republicans who continually violate their campaign promises and do whatever they wish once they get to Washington.
	And we better not let that happen With the amnesty bill, the deficits are bad enough, but we cannot afford to become the world's orphanage, and that's really what they're talking about here.
	You know, you saw Senator Mo Brooks saying, they came to us with a budget that was here, and then we expanded it way up here with our counteroffer.
	That's the kind of negotiating tactics we're seeing here on DACA as well.
	They come in and say, well, we want amnesty and citizenship for.8 million.
	And then Trump comes back and says, no, we'll do 1.8 million.
	That's our negotiating tactic here.
	And so this is the framework, and we've got the GOP senators now introducing the Trump immigration framework that would provide a path for citizenship for 1.8 million immigrants brought to the country illegally as children in exchange for a $25 billion border security.
	Why do we have to bribe the Democrats to defend this country, as I said before?
	Bring the troops home, put them on the border, build the wall out of the defense budget.
	This is, if we ever had an issue for defense, this is it, folks.
	But they're not going to do that.
	They don't want that to happen.
	We've got the GOP Congress still running Nancy Pelosi's priorities, says Congressman Tom Van Flynn.
	I'm sorry, not a congressman.
	He's the current chief of staff for Representative Paul Gosar.
	He said that, On Breitbart.
	And that's exactly what we're doing.
	They're the ones who are running the government.
	It's their priorities. DACA is the priority of Nancy Pelosi, of Chuck Schumer.
	And we've now made that our priority.
	That is part of our framework.
	And this is starting to look like a game of hangman.
	That's the way that these bills are starting to come together.

	It's something that we've heard before from the Gang of Eight.
	Remember a few years ago?
	It's back in 2013.
	The Gang of Eight, people like Lindsey Graham and others who are now still the ones calling the shots on immigration.
	The Democrats and establishment Republicans who gave us that failed bill, the Gang of Eight, they now have something called a trigger scheme.

	They're pushing this for Thursday, and of course one of the guys pushing it the hardest is Senator John Cornyn.
	He is from Texas.
	Cornyn is the Republican whip, and he's whipping everybody into line on this immigration legislation.
	Some of the other key players, according to The Hill, are Senator Dick Durbin, who wants amnesty, Tom Cotton.
	A guy who says, oh, we're going to have a lot of law enforcement someday.
	Someday. That's always been the promise.
	It's been the promise since the mid-1980s.
	They never deliver on that promise.
	Never. Never.
	And let's not get fooled again on this.
	We've got Jeff Flake and Lindsey Graham.
	You know, the open border guys, they're the movers and shakers on this as well.
	Tom Tillis, that guy's a piece of work from North Carolina.
	This is a guy who never saw big government, multinational corporations that he didn't like.
	The Republicans got their majority for the first time in 2010.
	Never had a majority since Reconstruction.
	They pulled in Tom Tillis, a guy who had only been there in the House for like one or two terms.
	And they leapfrogged him and put him in the position of Speaker of the House over a very honest, small government guy.
	Tom Tillis ran through toll roads owned by foreign multinationals into North Carolina for the first time.
	At the behest of people like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the American Legislative Exchange Council and so forth, Alec, he was rewarded then by being run as a U.S. Senator, and he has been reliably anti-Trump Globalist since then.
	And of course, he's a key shaker in this.
	Susan Collins, Joe Manchin, also some key people.
	And of course, Chuck Schumer.
	Chuck Schumer is going to be a part of our story when we talk about Silk Road coming up in just a moment as well.
	But one of the things that they're offering us is something that we've seen before.
	You know, we're told that we're going to get border security.
	And so we say, well, I've heard that story before.
	It never happened. Oh, we're going to have a trigger.
	We're going to have a trigger. So that...
	You can be assured that we're really going to get this.
	This is something that was offered by the Gang of Eight as well.
	The amnesty trigger. The trigger in the 2013 plan pushed by the Gang of Eight was intended to mute public opposition to the bill's huge amnesty for all illegals in the United States, reports Breitbart.
	It allowed senators to say that the final parts of the amnesty would be withheld until government officials certified that the border security supposedly met the strict criteria outlined in the Senate amnesty bill.
	But the 2013 trigger was a fake because the criteria were so vague they could not have stopped the political and business pressure to complete the amnesty.
	And so when you hear people saying, well, it's okay, you were asking for.8 million, I'll give you 1.8 million.
	Dreamers. It was never a Dream Act.
	Oh, they're DACA recipients.
	DACA was never a bill either.
	It wasn't an executive order.
	It wasn't a program, as USA Today reports it.
	It was a scheme by Obama implemented by Janet Napolitano, his head of Homeland Security, saying we're not going to enforce the law.
	That's all it is. Why can't we just say we're going to enforce the law?
	Why can't President Trump's Homeland Security say we're going to now enforce the law?
	End of story. End of story.
	Like he said when he was running, you're going to have to go back home, you're going to have to get in line.
	We'll take into consideration the fact of what you did when you were here in the United States, but you have to go home, you have to go through a legal process.
	Why can't we do that?
	Why can't we honor our campaign commitments here?
	And as I point out, swing voting senators are being led by Maine's Senator Susan Collins, one of the big shakers there.
	Her home state is losing investment and losing residence to other warmer states.
	Where the annual wave of one million legal immigrant workers and consumers mostly choose to live, only 95 of the 690,000 DACA illegals are based in Maine, where Susan Collins is.
	So why is she pushing for this so hard?
	She's got 95 people that would be affected by DACA out of 690,000.
	95! Not 95,000, not 9,500, 95 out of 690,000 are there in Maine where Susan Collins is.
	So why would it be in her interest to push so hard for this?
	Because this is a globalist scheme.
	This isn't about supporting the people of Maine.
	There isn't any big concern in Maine for this.
	As a matter of fact, Maine is losing influence.
	But they're pushing this.
	So, as we look at this, and of course, what it's going to do, it's going to transform America because they're going to be given voting rights, right?
	But in some ways, we've already got them voting, right?
	We just learned that the mall shooter, who's the 20-year-old Turkish immigrant...
	Who was arrested Saturday for the Friday night shooting and killing of five people in Burlington, Washington Mall.
	We've now learned that not only is he an illegal immigrant, but he has voted in three elections.
	Of course, that doesn't happen.
	Doesn't happen according to the Democrats.
	Let's talk about some other Democrat crimes here.
	You know, we got the Schiff memo that came out.
	And they're saying, well, we're not going to release that memo because it's got some information in it that the Department of Justice and the FBI doesn't want out.
	And we've had Joe DiGenova, a former special counsel who went after both the Teamsters and former New York Governor Elliot Spitzer, said on Monday as he's being interviewed on a radio program, he said, we're going to see the Democrat memo, but it will be heavily edited by the FBI and the Department of Justice and the CIA. but it will be heavily edited by the FBI and He said the most important part of this story is that on Friday, February the 9th, Rod Rosenstein and Christopher Wray wrote a letter to White House counsel Don McGrath.
	And here's what it had to say. He said they couldn't agree on the publication of the Schiff memo because it contained national security and law enforcement concerns.
	Law enforcement concerns.
	And so what he's saying here is that this would compromise prosecution of certain people who are being investigated right now for crimes if this memo were to be put out.
	So that is important information.
	He says, if there's a criminal investigation underway and release of some of the information in the memo by Mr.
	Schiff will affect the criminal investigation, he says, I wonder who they're investigating.
	And the answer is pretty clear.
	They're investigating the people at the FBI and the Department of Justice who provided false information to the FISA court over a number of years, including Carter Page.
	Carter Page. As we talked about that yesterday, I think it's very key.
	People are beginning to talk about it.
	We had Matt Bracken on.
	You can see that interview on Real News with David Knight, our YouTube channel, talking about the fact that the person whose name has not been mentioned is the guy at the FBI who is in charge of counterintelligence.
	The name that shall not be named.
	Comey would refer to him by his office as he was dumping this stuff on him.
	And it looks like he decided he's not going to be the fall guy.
	Nobody has been talking about Bill Priestap.
	And he may be the one who turns this around.
	And it may be that Schiff was not only trying to push back against the Nunes memo, but maybe he's trying to give some cover to some of these people who are being criminally investigated.
	Meanwhile, we see a very unusual message sent by Susan Rice on inauguration day.
	And it's kind of weird because it's like a memo to herself.
	Note, we're going to do this by the book.
	And she mentions that phrase several times.
	Note to self, follow the law.
	And I guess that's very important when you're part of the Obama administration.
	They don't follow the law.
	But it's kind of unusual.
	And as senators who are investigating this said, why would you do that?
	It strikes us as odd, says Chuck Grassley, among your activities in the final moments on the final day of the Obama administration that you would feel the need to send yourself such an unusual email purporting to document a conversation involving President Obama and his interactions with the FBI regarding the Trump-Russia among your activities in the final moments on the final day So what she's trying to do is to pretend that she is memorializing a conversation where they said, we're going to do this by the book.
	We're not going to be prosecuting anybody illegally.
	No, that is really what they were doing.
	And we can see that from a previous email on January the 5th.
	We've got to be mindful of the incoming team that there's a lot of information that we do not want to turn over to the Trump administration.

	She is the mother of the man accused of creating and running Silk Road.
	The website that was anonymous, it was consumer-driven.
	There were very few restrictions placed on items that were bought and sold there, but they did have some prohibitions.
	Anything that was intended to harm or defraud somebody, such as child pornography, assassination, or weapons, you could not do that on the site.
	But of course, when you're on the internet, people can do all kinds of interesting things.
	But here's the deal. Whether or not you agree with the idea that people ought to be able to buy and sell stuff without government telling them what they can buy or sell.
	And I mean, we're having this discussion right now with marijuana, with medical marijuana, with marijuana as a recreational drug.
	Should the government have that authority to tell us what we can buy or sell?
	What we can put into our body?
	Can they tell us what we cannot use as medicine?
	Can they prohibit certain things for us to use?
	If they can, then they can also tell us what we must put in our body.
	So that is a very important issue in and of itself.
	But regardless of what you think about those issues, just as it doesn't matter what you thought about what was going on at the Bundy Ranch, you may have thought...
	That Cliven Bundy was some kind of a millionaire rancher.
	That was the story that was put out about Cliven Bundy.
	I was there. I can tell you he's not a millionaire by any means.
	I don't know if he's even a thousandaire.
	I mean, they are really working very hard, struggling to get by, and the government was prosecuting them.
	But the issues in that Bundy case, the issues in the Silk Road case, the issues in what we're seeing in the coup against President Trump, they're all the same issue.
	And you're going to have a problem in your life or somebody that you know in your life if we don't control this cancer, this cancer of an out-of-control government, of a dishonest justice department and investigators.
	And that's what we're going to see are the parallels in this case.

	And we've got a lot of people who have signed on to a petition to take this to the Supreme Court.
	They have a writ of certiori.
	Is that the right way to put it?
	A cert petition to the Supreme Court.
	It was put out late December.
	It has been supported in five amicus briefs by 21 groups from both sides of the political spectrum because this is not simply about running a website or about the legal ability to have cryptocurrency.
	That's a big part of this case, folks.
	We've got a young guy here who is facing multiple consecutive life sentences because he was operating a website and because he was using Bitcoin.
	And we're going to see more of this coming because the same people who came after Ross don't want you to have Bitcoin.
	They want to shut down all cryptocurrencies.
	And so here's some of the groups that are there on the right-wing libertarian side, I guess we'd have.
	Reason Foundation, the Cato Institute, Downsized D.C., They have the Competitive Enterprise Institute, American Conservative Union, and FreedomWorks.
	And there's also several participants on the left as well that are arguing before the Supreme Court that this cannot be allowed to stand.
	The way this case was conducted is a threat to each and every one of us and to our liberty.

	Because they used Ross's case as a, he was put out there as an example.
	You better not do this. You better not have an anonymous website.
	You better not have an anonymous cryptocurrency or we're going to make an example out of you.
	And I think that's really where this began.
	Tell us a little bit about that. Yeah, Chuck Schumer was definitely the impetus behind the investigation and calling for the site to be taken down and even calling attention to it.
	He was a ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee.
	And I do believe that it had to do with Bitcoin, this sort of rebellious, odd alternative currency.
	Very few people had heard of at the time.
	Well, he's from New York. That's where Wall Street and the big banks are, right?
	The New York Fed. They don't want Bitcoin.
	They don't want any competition to their banking system, to the fiat currency that's operated by the Federal Reserve.
	So Chuck Schumer is their man.
	Yeah. And so, interesting coincidence.
	The judge in Ross's trial and sentencing was recommended by Schumer to her position on the bench.
	Preparara, the lead prosecutor, was Schumer's special counsel for years and years.
	Mm-hmm. Ross was tried in New York, even though he was arrested in California.
	The Southern District of New York apparently wanted this case.
	And apparently when they want something, they get it.
	And it was all about that.
	And, you know, at first when people would say, well, he's a political prisoner, I thought this might be hyperbolic.
	Except then I saw the other sentences of Silk Road defendants.
	For instance, the biggest drug seller on Silk Road got 10 years.
	The biggest cocaine and heroin seller got 5.
	The biggest meth seller got 3.
	And what's most shocking to me is that Blake Benthal, who took over and made a copycat site that the...
	Feds called identical and was actually bigger in terms of listings and sales.
	Silk Road 2.0. Silk Road 2.0 served 16 days.
	He's free. Wow.
	And I don't know where he is, and I don't know why, but...
	And Ross, your son, got double life sentences sequential.
	Plus 40 years. Plus 40 years, just in case.
	Just to make sure. And without the possibility of parole, because parole was removed from the federal system in 1984.
	So there is no parole for anyone in the federal system anymore.
	No chance of, you know, redemption whatsoever.
	And I was just telling you during the break before you came on how we just saw a situation with a Grammy Award winning Tejano singer who rapes his niece We're good to go.
	Where we see Ross denied bail, just as we saw the people in the Bundy trial here.
	And here's the common thread, folks.
	Those cases could not be about any more divergent issues.
	the use of land or the abuse of BLM authority versus the ability to operate an anonymous website to sell things that would be prohibited or illegal by the government to operate and use a cryptocurrency.
	I mean, you know, you got one guy that's operating in crypto space and another guy that's operating out in the middle of the wilderness in Nevada.
	But the common thread here is that if you're doing something that the federal government doesn't like, they will pull all the string.
	They will ignore all the laws.
	They will violate the laws.
	They will cover up crimes committed by their investigators.
	And that's a big part of this appeal.
	They did the same thing here with your son's trial at Silk Road that they did with the Bundys, where you've got corrupt agents who committed crimes, and in the case of your son, actually went to jail, went to prison for this.
	and they had control of the website that he was accused of controlling, committed these crimes, went to jail for it, but the jury was not allowed to know that.
	Just like they were not allowed to know about the crimes of the BLM and all of those crimes of the BLM were projected onto the Bundys in the same way that I believe many of the crimes of these criminal agents were projected onto your son.
	But they cover it up because they have an agenda and they feel threatened, their power feels threatened by an individual, whether it's in cyberspace or the desert of Nevada.

	Welcome back. We're talking to the mother of the man accused of creating and running the Silk Road website, now serving multiple life sentences, plus 40 years, no chance of parole.
	This is a life sentence for a very young man.
	What was his crime? Well, he was involved in cryptocurrency.
	That's coming, folks.
	And he was involved in having a website where you could buy whatever you wanted.
	But the key that we have to pay attention to here is what's going on with the Constitution, what's going on with the NSA, Bill Binney, and we want to talk about that a little bit.
	He came on the program with Alex Jones and talked about the abuse of the NSA and also what's going on in our judicial system because these are things that we keep seeing repeated everywhere.
	And we are all at risk when we have a legal system that comes after an individual for whatever reason, whether they go after President Trump because they don't like his politics or they go after Ross because they want to make an example of him and threaten people who are operating anonymous websites and using cryptocurrency.
	If they decide that you're on their hit list, they're going to get you one way or the other.
	And they've got multiple ways to come after you.
	So let's talk about the NSA aspect of this first, Len, because we had Bill Binney come on and talk about how dangerous these documents are.
	And again, these are documents.
	When we reveal this stuff, everybody said, that's not news.
	That's been around since July.
	Well, nobody talked about it, did they?
	So it is news if they weren't talking about it.
	And it's also news that the Congress, Republicans and Democrats, would cover up this memo And not talk about even the Nunes memo talking about misconduct of the FBI and the Department of Justice until after they'd reauthorized some of these same things and loosened the restrictions that had already been violated by the NSA. But let's talk a little bit about how that kind of spying manifests itself in your son's trial.
	Yeah, well, when I heard Bill Binney on the show, I thought, that's exactly what the Supreme Court petition spells out that the government did in Ross's case, which is basically using, and they can do this to any of us.
	That's right. This is not a theory.
	It's already been done to your son.
	Yeah, and President Trump apparently.
	And they've probably done it to many, many people.
	That's right. With using just an email address or a phone number, they can get the IP address and use that to access and put pen traps on your devices, on the router in your home, and without any oversight from the Fourth Amendment,
	as the law stands now, without probable cause, without a warrant, We're good to go.
	So regardless, you get somebody that they don't like for whatever reason, and it lets them operate like Joseph Stalin.
	Bring me the man, I'll find the crime.
	And that's precisely the way that they can use this.
	This is why it's dangerous. Always in the past, you would have to get a search warrant under the Constitution.
	You'd have to show evidence of a crime.
	So you'd be investigating a crime, not a man.
	But now we don't have that anymore.
	That's what's so dangerous about the FISA violations that we saw with Trump, the NSA violations that Bill Benny pointed out, and the fact that we have both Republicans and Democrats covering this up.
	Yeah, it's extremely alarming.
	And, you know, how many of us would be perfectly happy to have the government rifling through all of our internet browsing and information?
	I mean, it's endless amounts of relevant and intimate information that's available.
	That's right. And, you know, do I want them knowing what political groups, for example, that I'm interested in?
	Would that put me on a list somewhere?
	You know, medical information, personal information.
	I mean, it goes on and on.
	And all the apps we use.
	That's right. All are open season right now.
	And James Clapper has been at the center of this, and he's been doing this for over 20 years.
	It's called geospatial intelligence, activity-based intelligence, where they map what political groups you're in.
	They can look at your metadata.
	They keep saying, oh, we don't have to get your phone conversations and everything.
	We're just looking at metadata.
	Now that's one of the most important things because they can tell what your religion is, what your political affiliation is, they can tell all kinds of things about you, and then they can use that to come after you specifically.
	But we've got organizations on both the left and the right that are asking the Supreme Court to take a look at your son's prosecution because it was a persecution.
	As I mentioned before, we've got groups like the Reason Foundation, Cato Institute, we've got FreedomWorks, we've got the Competitive Enterprise Institute, so forth, and many groups on the left that are looking at this.
	Because this affects the Constitution, let's talk about the Fourth Amendment and how they went after, Ross, the internet traffic and the violations there of the Fourth Amendment.
	Yeah, and I also want to just say, they can also use this to blackmail judges, congresspeople, all of that.
	It's not just, you know, regular people.
	They can use it for influence in that way.
	Oh, absolutely. And we've had Michael Hayden brag about that.
	We went to this Washington Lee College talking to the legal students there, and he said, we don't.
	We're not interested in bad people.
	We're interested in interesting people.
	And they find you interesting if you are a congressman or a Supreme Court justice or a president or if you're somebody who is threatening their authority.
	And that's the key thing.
	Cryptocurrency, that's a threat to their authority.
	Anybody that deals with cryptocurrency, they could be looking at something like Ross went through here coming up in the future because there is no limit on their power if they don't have to follow the law.
	Absolutely. So talk a little bit about what they did in terms of the internet traffic interception.
	Yeah, well, they got Ross's email address.
	They have what I consider a parallel construction cover story.
	I think the NSA was involved.
	Edward Snowden even came out publicly and said that in Ross's case, he's unthinkable the NSA was not involved.
	In any case, they did get the email address.
	Using an email address, they can get the internet protocol address or the IP address and At that point, they can locate you geographically in your home.
	Apparently, they had a directional antennae.
	On the home, without a warrant.
	This is all without a warrant. They could even tell what room he was in on his computer.
	But from that, they get a MAC address, which they put on his devices.
	Each device has a unique MAC address.
	So at that point, it is analogous to a tracking device, like a collar on an animal, where no matter where you are in the world, they will know where you are, what you're doing.
	Any electronic device, then they can track you.
	Yeah, a phone, a tablet, a laptop.
	And this is all without a warrant.
	This is all without probable cause, which essentially is...
	The probable cause is having a really good reason, as you pointed out.
	And if they had gone into his home or any of our homes and took, say, a physical file cabinet, it's no question that they would need a warrant and probable cause.
	I don't even have a file cabinet anymore.
	I mean, all my stuff is on digital.
	That's it. Exactly. We just had the New York Times come out and say, you know what?
	Print journalism is going away in at least the next 10 years.
	So you're not going to have papers there.
	We don't use papers in our life that much anymore.
	Right. And so all of our personal effects...
	Which is what the Fourth Amendment is truly about.
	They maintain this fiction that because the founders of the country didn't have iPads, therefore we have no protection against any electronic devices.
	But it really is about your person, your place, your effects, your personal papers and so forth.
	Any records about you.
	And so that is the kind of legal fiction that the government uses to get its nose under the tent and to escape the rule of law.
	So when we look at this...
	And again, we mentioned Schumer, not because this is a partisan issue, but because his particular interest in Silk Road, in your son, is shown throughout this timeline.
	And it shows that he was in it to get a guy, not to come after a crime.
	If it hadn't started with Schumer, if it had started with law enforcement or something, they'd be investigating a crime.
	But Schumer, a politician who's representing banks and other people, he wants to get after – he wants to get this guy.
	And so then he uses these devices that have been given to him as we ignore the Fourth Amendment.
	We're going to talk about the Sixth Amendment in the next section because we're getting close to our break here.
	But we're going to talk about the trial.
	We're going to talk about the fact that he didn't get bail and so forth coming up in the next thing.
	All the abuses of the legal system, which is really going to be the core of the appeal here coming up because the Supreme Court doesn't really care about the Fourth Amendment.
	They've made that abundantly clear, haven't they?
	I'm hoping they're going to care in this case.
	They've already accepted another case, a Fourth Amendment case, Carpenter.
	So it's a similar...
	It's a phone. It's tracking someone with a cell phone.
	But actually, this is even more invasive because it's all your internet and browsing and your apps and all of that.
	And we should remember that the very reason that we have the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act...
	Was because we had the Church Committee hearing in the Senate.
	We had the Pike Committee hearing in the House.
	They knew back in the early 1970s that the NSA, the CIA, were already spying on Americans in violation of the Constitution.
	They said, you can only do that with foreign individuals.
	We're going to create this thing, but they use it as a tool to spy on us anyway.

	We've talked...
	Briefly, there's so much to this case.

	And it affects all of our kids.
	And I told Lynn, I said, I'm so sorry this has happened to your family.
	We have to all understand that our children are threatened by a government that is out of control, that is lawless.
	They can do anything they want to to anyone for any reason.
	If you're involved in some activity or some group that they don't like, they can single you out as an individual.
	They can single out President Trump.
	They can come after you. They did that to Ross.
	They did that to the Bundys.
	And we're going to see now, because we talked about the Fourth Amendment.
	We talked about how using primitive wired phones in the 1960s, we had the NSA and the CIA spying on people.
	The Congress is very alarmed about that.
	They said, we've got to stop that somehow.
	So we're going to create the FISA situation, the FISA court and everything.
	Then they used that as a tool to expand the powers of the surveillance.
	The very thing that was supposed to constrain them, they used as a tool to expand their powers.
	But let's talk now. We're good to go.
	They brought up in the trial, one of the inappropriate things in the trial was to bring up his political beliefs and say, hey, this guy is a libertarian.
	He's anti-government.
	We found that out about him.
	And so let's enhance the punishment for him because he's a libertarian.
	Of course, they can do that for religious groups.
	We've seen the Southern Poverty Law Center label the Family Research Center, a Christian group, label them as a hate group.
	And the FBI would use those labels from the Southern Poverty Law Center.
	So anybody...
	Could be labeled by this.
	And to bring these political beliefs or religious beliefs in to try to enhance the sentencing here is one of the issues that you're talking about here.
	But let's talk about the trial itself, the violations of the Sixth Amendment.
	He was held for a very long time without bail.
	He was deprived of a witness list.
	So he had a group of witnesses, which under the Constitution, you are allowed to confront your accusers.
	You are allowed to bring in people who are witnesses on your behalf.
	And then you've got, like in the Bundy trial, we had Gloria Navarro say, no, you can't do that.
	Said that to the previous trials, multiple trials.
	She said that to the Bundys. I mean, Gloria Navarro was not the reason that the Bundy, it wasn't because they had a good judge or an honest judge.
	She had deprived them of the witness list.
	It was because they had a whistleblower.
	You didn't have a whistleblower in your particular case.
	Hopefully it's going to go before the Supreme Court.
	But talk about some of the other things that happened in this case where she ran roughshod over this.
	Yeah. Just a quick correction.
	It was in the sentencing that she brought up Ross's philosophy.
	And used it to justify this draconian sentence that she gave him for all non-violent charges, by the way.
	First-time offender. Actually, in the trial, she did not allow his libertarian views to be known to the jury.
	And that he had these ideals.
	It was all about... And a lot of things weren't allowed to be made known.
	But anyway, including corrupt agents.
	But anyway, as far as the Sixth Amendment issue with the Supreme Court...
	Basically, it's saying that we have the right by the Sixth Amendment to be judged by a jury whether or not we are guilty.
	Not by a judge when it hasn't even been charged at trial in front of a jury.
	And that's exactly what happened.
	And this was, well, actually, there were several issues, but the main one is that the government alleged that Ross planned murders for hire, and then they dropped the charges.
	And there's one indictment left in Maryland.
	It's been there for four and a half years now.
	It's based on the evidence by the corrupt agent now in prison.
	Let me interject this from the materials you sent me.
	This is a quote from Timothy Howard, assistant U.S. attorney of the Southern District of New York.
	And, again, it was Chuck Schumer's appointed judge who came after him.
	It was Chuck Schumer who wanted him and singled him out, used any means to get him.
	And this is what Timothy Howard, the assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York said.
	Now, to be clear, the defendant has not been charged for these attempted murders here.
	You're not required to make any finding about them.
	And the government does not contend that those murders actually occurred.
	Mm-hmm. And yet, everybody that sees a Silk Road case, oh, it was a murder for hire that Ross has sent multiple life sentences for.
	No. They said, oh, I don't think these murders ever even occurred.
	And he had nothing to do with it.
	Right. And, yeah, exactly.
	And actually, journalists now could just call it murder, even though no one was murdered.
	You know, why bother to be accurate?
	Anyway, so the case, which is so broad, the petition, which is so broad-reaching, is saying...
	Yeah, Ross deserved a Sixth Amendment protection.
	We all deserve Sixth Amendment protection.
	And this judge just decided that even though a jury never ruled on it, she's decided it's true.
	And she used it to justify this draconian sentence of hers.
	Unbelievable sentence that, you know, worldwide shock.
	And the appellate court in Second Circuit in New York said, yeah, those murders for hire kind of justifies this sentence.
	And it was never charged or proven by a jury at all.
	This is outrageous. No.
	That's amazing. Never came before the jury.
	Well, they got to talk about it and said, just trust us, it's true.
	But it wasn't something they had to rule on.
	She allowed that, too. But, like you quoted, but no, it was never proven by a jury at all.
	And apparently, this is very common.
	I had no idea. I said to the trial lawyer, I said, but wait, how can they do this?
	And he goes, oh no, they do it all the time.
	The judges do this all the time.
	They decide something's true when it either has been acquitted or it hasn't even been charged, like in Ross's case, and they use it.
	This is very, very concerning.
	This is why it affects everybody.
	This is why everybody needs to pay attention to this case.
	So I talked about the fact that she went through the witness list and said, no, you can't have that person, you can't have that.
	Same thing that we saw in the Bundy trial.
	Also, you have corrupt agents, and that activity is hidden from the jury in both cases, except in your case it was even worse, because in the case of Dan Love, he was dismissed, he had some criminal charges, but they didn't actually send him to jail.
	In your case, the corrupt agents stole a great deal of money, operated the same website that they accused your son of operating, and they went to jail for this, and all that was hidden from the jury.
	That's correct. They had free reign on the site, unfettered access.
	They could even act as Dread Pirate Roberts, who's the handle of whoever was running the site, whenever.
	I mean, I believe there were many.
	And they could even act as that character and do whatever they wanted.
	They had passwords, PIN numbers, all this stuff.
	Could change evidence, change chats.
	And even after trial, it was discovered by the defense that another agent who claimed to be an agent deleted evidence.
	And it was found in the discovery evidence there that it was tampered with.
	And the jury was shown tampered evidence.
	And yet, we have to have another trial to bring that forward, as well as another dread pirate Roberts logging in after Ross was in prison.
	So it's like, who's that?
	He's in prison. He was in solitary.
	Yeah. And under very strict surveillance.
	So there definitely wasn't Ross.
	And so there's all these questions that I believe for sure there was at least one other corrupt agent.
	I think probably more. There's a lot of money unaccounted for.
	There's all kinds of things that are just kind of kept undisclosed.
	Yeah. Yeah. Huge sum of money.
	Kept undisclosed. Kept sealed.
	They seal things. They won't let you have it, you know.
	And so who knows what's in there.
	They dumped a massive amount of information on the defense one week prior.
	We saw the same thing in the Bundy Ranch trial.
	And of course, all this comes to the Brady rule, which was quoted again in the Bundy trial.
	And let me read this to people.
	The Brady rule says, and this is a ruling by the Supreme Court...
	If a prosecutor suppresses evidence that is favorable to a defendant, it violates the Due Process Clause of the Constitution.
	That was done in your son's trial just as it was done at the Bundy Ranch.
	Because this is the way the Federal Department of Justice operates.
	And that's why people need to understand.
	We're seeing a pattern of behavior here in all these different trials.
	Same thing happening to President Trump that's happening to these other people.
	Very corrupt system that we've got here.
	It is. And, you know, that's really scary.
	I feel like our country is being hijacked, and we're losing our freedoms very rapidly.
	And, you know, it's one thing, you know, look, I'm not saying...
	I think the drug war is very bad, because I think it's really not about drugs.
	I think it's about government power and money.
	That's right. But people need to realize, you know, and I'm not saying, oh, everything on Silk Road was good.
	There were many legal things, by the way.
	But... That's not the point here.
	You're making the real point, which is that we're losing our freedoms and we have a draconian justice system that is caging people at a very alarming rate.
	Life sentences have quintupled since the 80s.
	Well, we have a private prison business that we need to keep going.
	And public. Yeah, exactly.
	It's not even the private. That's what I was about to say.
	There's a lot of people, and all these bureaucracies are about building empires and about growing the number of people underneath them.
	I talked to a friend of mine who had been for a long time in the military, and when I had my own business, first thing he wanted to ask was, you know, not what I do, how much money I make or what.
	He wanted to know how many people I had working for him.
	Because that's the way people think when they work for the government.
	How big are the number of people that you've got working for you?
	But it's also about the money. I want to read, before we run out of time, this quote from Forbes magazine talking about your son's case.
	It said, this ruling is bad news for future entrepreneurs seeking to build online marketplaces at any moment.
	The U.S. government could tell a story that the online marketplace is part of a giant conspiracy by helping illegal transactions.
	And on that theory, they could seize the business, threaten the founders with a prospect of years or decades or multiple life sentences in jail as they did your son.
