I don't know if it's true or not. Axios has said that the federal government is proposing a takeover of the communication infrastructure so that they can set up 5G everywhere.
Not just urban areas.
You won't be able to escape these transmitters even in the rural areas.
This is something that I find gravely concerning.
Gravely concerning. Because it has massive health issues.
We'll talk about that.
But it also has other issues in terms of crony capitalism.
Is this something that we want to have happen?
Did we want to...
Was it a good idea...
If Obamacare had worked...
Would that have been a good idea?
Of course, it's not going to work because the federal government is taking it over.
But this is being promoted, a takeover, a federal takeover, Of our communications, and we're going to show you how this has already been playing out.
This began under the Obama administration, and now the military-industrial complex is selling it to the Trump administration.
This is a sucker's bargain, if we go into this.
It's got massive health concerns.
It has massive concerns for our free speech and ability to communicate without government interference.
It is a bad deal all the way around.
And of course, a lot of crony capitalism involved here.

We're going to take a look at what's going on with DACA, the election meddling.
I mean, this is... We want to talk about the Russians hacking the election.
There's a news story out about the NRA supposedly got massive contributions from the Russian government, the National Rifle Association.
This is the hysteria about Russian interference in our elections.
We've got a new bill being sponsored by Marco Rubio and a Democrat saying we're going to do something about Foreign interference and hacking of our elections.
Well, you're concerned about foreign interference of our elections?
Then don't give amnesty to millions of people who come here in violation of our law.
That is the hacking of our election.
It is going on right now by the establishment Republicans and Democrats who approved this pathway to voters.
That's what this is.
And of course, it's cheap labor in the meantime for the big crony capitalists that are involved here.
We got some updates on the racketeering influence corruption scandals in Washington, D.C.
That's really what we ought to call it instead of Washington, D.C.
We just ought to call it Washington, Rico, because that's the best description we can have of that nest of criminals in Washington, D.C.
And we're going to tell you what happened a little bit over the weekend.
We're going to do a little bit of sports and weather news in terms of what happened with the Grammys, but not much.
We'll let you hear Hillary Clinton reading from the Fire and Fury fiction series.
But we're not going to spend too much time on that because we've got some serious issues to talk about.
The U.S. Air Force is going to begin massive GPS blackouts in the western United States.
This is the largest ever air war drill that they've ever had, and they're saying there's going to be rolling blackouts of GPS. So watch out for Teslas.
There's no telling where these things are going to be going as they flip off the GPS. And when we look at 5G, let me add one more thing here, too, because 5G, they're rushing to put 5G in.
And it's not just, it's being sold by the military industrial complex as something that is necessary to protect us against the Chinese.
But it is also being pushed as part of the UN Agenda 21, the UN 2030 Agenda, This is something that they always want to have in there for smart cities.
And we're going to tell you why the Internet of Things, the IOT they call it, the Internet of Things, which they want to include not only your kitchen appliances, but your car, is going to be part of the Internet of Things.
That IOT, that Internet of Things, is really going to become an Internet of tumors and oppression and tyranny.

I'm David Knight. Over the weekend, I saw an article, headline, that immediately grabbed my attention.
A Congress of roughly 50 baboons escaped a French suit.
And I always thought the French Congress was larger than that.
Now, I've known that you have these strange terms for different groups of animals.
You know, a group of ravens is called a murder.
Well, a group of baboons is called a Congress.
I didn't know that before.
And of course, other people did.
There's already a lot of internet memes saying, now it all makes perfect sense.
Why we called it a Congress.
So they got out of the zoo, prompted an armed police response, because they are very dangerous animals.
Like our Congress is very dangerous.
And this other unusual bit of news here.
A trans-age child rapist.
Now, what does that mean?
Well, let's unpack this.
Somebody who is a trans-ager is somebody who says, I'm a different age.
I see myself as being a different age than I really am.
So this guy who raped a nine-year-old boy says, I'm really a child stuck in the body of a man.
So I'm not really a man.
I'm not really a 38-year-old Joseph Roman.
I'm not a man.
I'm actually a nine-year-old boy.
And so when I raped three girls between the ages of six and eight, that was okay, because in my mind, I'm a young boy.
So that's okay, because we have to now, I guess, if we're going to be consistent with the rest of the political correctness that is going to be sold to us, we have to now let him go or give him a slap on the wrist for just being a child as he's doing this.
But, you know, what's not, what people are not looking at, and I pointed this out last week, I can't believe nobody else has really talked about this much, found an article, I haven't heard anybody focus on it, an article about how the State Department is spending about $600,000 To do gender confusion on Kenyan boys.
To tell them about toxic masculinity and transgenderism and gender fluidity and all this other kind of nonsense.
See, that's why we can't have nice things.
Because the US State Department is spending over a half a million dollars To confuse boys in Kenya.
We can't leave them alone. Can't leave those poor boys in that poor country alone.
We've got to go over there and mess with their minds with this kind of perverse gaslighting that is being done to our children in this country.
So we have this massive educational bureaucracy that is intent on doing it to our children, and not just our children.
It is a globalist agenda being perpetrated by our State Department under Rex Tillerson, the guy who took the boys out of Boy Scouts.
This guy who, as part of his administration of the Boy Scouts, did everything that he could from putting in homosexual scouts, putting in homosexual scout leaders, to putting in transgenders and saying, we're going to admit girls, whatever, in the Boy Scouts. Let's just confuse everybody's gender.
And as I've said before, the reason we had segregated groups between boys and girls, the same reason we did that with restrooms, It's because we're trying to minimize.
You can always have somebody who is a heterosexual who would abuse people.
But if you know that it's going to be more likely...
The vast majority of men, at least in the past, they're working on this, were heterosexual.
So if you want to try to minimize the chances of your young boy being raped by the scout leader, you separate people by the sexes.
And that's why we did that in the restrooms.
But they don't want to minimize that.
And they want to create this brave new world kind of insanity and promiscuity amongst the kids.
And so that's why we have our State Department.
It makes perfect sense that it would be Rex Tillerson doing that.
I mean, I knew about this when the rumors were circulating about Rex Tillerson.
I started putting it down on Twitter.
It's like, are we seriously considering putting a guy like that in the State Department?
Everybody was concerned that he worked for Exxon.
I said, yeah, I'm concerned about that, too, because Exxon...
has bought in completely into this global warming charade because it's in their best interest.
They would like to have a monopoly on a tightly controlled asset just like De Beers has a monopoly on diamonds.
It makes perfectly good sense if you stop and think about the economics of it.
There is no science involved in that that you can support.
You can easily deconstruct that science.
But this is the thing that I just cannot understand.
All this trans nonsense.
And it continues to go on in the military.
And speaking of the military, there is a massive GPS rolling blackout that will be happening in the western United States.
This is the largest ever air war drill.
They call it Red Flag 18-1.
And that's the largest red flag drill they've ever had.
Largest number of participants highlighting the balance of training efficiency with mission effectiveness.
Okay, well fine. It began on Friday and it's going to go through February the 16th.
What I find interesting is that there's going to be rolling GPS blackouts for vast portions of the western United States as part of this because they want to use GPS spoofing and jamming technology.
You know, the kind of stuff that many of us believe might have played a factor in some of these frequent naval crashes that we saw.
But this is being done with the Air Force.
And they said that they don't have any insight into what a GPS blackout might mean for the millions of civilians who live in the western region of the United States.
Well, you know, it's one thing if your map app on your phone doesn't work.
It's another thing.
If you turn over control of your car to a Tesla or something of that ilk and think that it's – I don't know how much they depend on GPS, but I just advise you to be on the lookout for Teslas.

And then, of course, over the weekend we had another terrorist attack, big terrorist attack in Afghanistan, in the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul.
A devastating car bomb attack.
Actually, it was an ambulance filled with explosives.
It was shortly after noon, and the police identified the man at a security checkpoint, but they were unable to stop him from carrying out his mission immediately.
Exploded this ambulance filled with explosives on a street that runs past a number of government offices.
It has killed more than 100 people, and now the injury account is up over 235.
Massive bomb there.
And that follows the previous weekend.
Where for a 15-hour siege, you had individuals who had taken over a Western hotel there in Kabul again.
And they'd taken their time singling out Westerners and people who were provincial leaders that had come to Kabul, Afghanistan for a meeting.
Took their time singling out these people and executing them.
Left 22 dead, including 14 foreigners.
And then this morning, again, in Kabul.
Eleven dead in an attack on an army garrison in Kabul.
This was near a military academy, and there were two militants who detonated suicide vests.
Two were shot, and one was captured.
So, eleven military personnel were killed in the assault.
And then the assault that we had in Somali, in the Somali Mall of America.
Ha! You've seen the pictures of the massive number of Somalis going through the Mall of America because Minneapolis has become one of the largest concentrations of Somali refugees in the country.
Many people who live there talk about the housing projects that we have built for them as little Mogadishu.
And one of those, a 20-year-old man, has now pled guilty to stabbing two men in the Mall of America.
He said he went to the Mall of America to answer the call for jihad by the chief of believer, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
May Allah protect him.
And by the Mujahideen of the Islamic State.
I understand that the two men I stabbed know and have explained the reason for my attack.
And I am here affirming that it was indeed an act of jihad in the way of Allah.
And he goes on to say, Americans will not be safe as long as your country is at war with Islam.

I was just talking about the Massive number of attacks that they've had in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Of course we're winning, right?
We're winning in Afghanistan.
I'm not sure what that looks like.
Here we are, beginning our 17th year.
I guess a little, yeah, we're about to get, we finished our 16th anniversary, I guess, last September.
So we're beginning our 17th year, and we're still there.
It's where empires go to die.
And we have a lot of those types of wars that are going on, not just in Afghanistan.
These endless regime changes that bring refugees into our country who hate us and hate our culture and the religions that it was based upon and so forth.
And they despise our law as well.
We'll be talking about that as well, the DACA election meddling, because that's really what's going on.
It's not the Russians who are meddling with our elections.
It's the Democrats and the establishment Republicans who are meddling with our future elections.
Well, they put out these phony bills and these phony investigations.
Why doesn't somebody investigate why we are incentivizing people to come to this country?
You can do everything that you want to with national ID cards and E-Verify and so forth to say that you're going to protect our jobs.
When anybody knows that if they can get past the border one way or the other, and by hook or by crook, they will.
Then they've got a free ride in this country.
You want to talk about this country being created by immigrants?
It was a nation of immigrants, we were told.
Yeah, it was. And you know what?
The immigrants who built this country had no entitlement safety net either.
They came here and risked everything.
So, if you want to reproduce that, then you tell anybody who comes here legal or otherwise, you don't get any entitlements for at least one or two generations.
See if they come then.
See if they want to come. If they want to come work, then fine.
Fine. I don't have a problem with it.

But you tell them they don't get any benefits.
The entitlement program, the welfare state, is killing us along with that warfare state.
The warfare welfare state is destroying the West, destroying America specifically.
And if we don't get a handle on these things, there isn't going to be any country left.
And it's really coming to a head very rapidly.

You can accelerate the collapse of the state by not only having the entitlement state.

But let's take a look at something else here.
I talked about what was going on in Afghanistan.
I talked about what was going on in the Somali of America, Mall of America, because that's where we have little Mogadishu that we have now created thanks to our refugee immigration policies.
There in Minneapolis. And you got one guy who stabbed multiple people in the Mall of America and said, yeah, I did it because it's jihad.
And we're at war with you guys.
And we're going to be at war with you guys.
And then in Chatham, New Jersey, Chatham Middle School in Chatham, New Jersey, they have a lawsuit that has been brought about for telling the students there that Islam is a true faith.
This was not just an offhand remark.
As the New American reports, it was very detailed in what they told them.
And I find it interesting that this federal lawsuit that's been brought in New Jersey, saying that the First Amendment, the separation of church and state, was violated by the teachings here.
I find it interesting that the ACLU is not involved.
Who? You know, I mean, they're always Johnny on the spot.
You can have somebody who is a teacher go to an event off campus after hours and make some Christian remarks and the ACLU is right there on them.
But if you have a teacher Propagandizing kids and proselytizing them for Islam, ACLU is not there.
This was brought by the Thomas Moore Law Center, not by the ACLU. They don't care if you are proselytizing for Islam.
And what did they tell them?
This was a 7th grade World Geography and Cultures class.
It ignored Christianity, Judaism, and other religions while teaching that Islam is objectively true.
And they point out particularly egregious is a video the children were shown entitled, What is Islam?
A Brief Introduction for Non-Muslims.
And it presented as facts these things to the students.
Quote, Allah is the one God who created the heavens and earth, who has no equal and is all-powerful.
Quote, Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the last and final messenger of God.
God gave him the noble Quran.
Lo, we have sent three, O Muhammad, with the truth, a bringer of glad tidings and a warner.
What is the noble Quran?
Divine revelation sent to Muhammad, last prophet of Allah, a perfect God for humanity, etc., etc.
They said the video is very slickly produced, very persuasive as they are.

And, of course, the ACLU has no problem with this.
Only the Thomas More Law Center does.
This is what is being done to your kids, along with the training nonsense, the gender confusion, the gender gaslighting, the Brave New World curriculum that they have there.
And what did they focus us on?
Well, in California, what they're really concerned about is waiters offering their customers plastic straws without being solicited, being asked for plastic straw.
If you ask for a plastic straw, yes, they can.
But if you offer it without being asked for a plastic straw...
Now you've got the Democrat majority leader in California's house.
Calderon is his name.

This is what they're concerned with.
This is the way they distract us with this kind of nonsense.
And with the kind of nonsense that we saw at the Grammys and so forth.
This kind of faux culture war stuff.

The real culture war is happening in your kid's school and you don't even see it.
Because everybody's looking at the stupid stuff they're doing at the Grammys.
The Los Angeles Times has even gotten behind the movement.
Reports Reason endorsing straws on request policies in an editorial that warned that repetitive sucking...
May cause or exacerbate wrinkles on the lips or around the mouth.
I mean, that should cause people to panic in LA. And it's not clear whether that wrinkling coming from repetitive sucking is before or after cosmetic surgery.
So you're warned, all you people in LA, you better crack down on this.
And they've got celebrities. They've got a celebrity astronomer.
I'm afraid we've got a lot of those.
A celebrity astronomer and a star from Entourage, which I have no idea and I could care less what Entourage is.

Have appeared in videos where an octopus slaps them in the face for using a plastic straw.
Well, of course, octopus doesn't need a straw.
He's got suckers all over his arms.
But we need to have straws, and we have the freedom to have straws.
And another reason why we're being distracted here, because they don't want us to pay attention to the real stuff.
A good example here is Theresa May in the UK. She's got a lot of issues going on with Brexit.
A lot of people are calling her Theresa Maybee or Theresa the appeaser.
As my guest last week, a member of European Parliament, was pointing out.
And now, to get rid of people looking at that and the crisis that they have in their socialized medicine, she's now talking about how maybe they need to take action to ban Bitcoin.
That's the way you get people to avoid looking at what you're really doing.

Tomorrow is the State of the Union from President Trump, expected to talk about the infrastructure bill.
Which has now grown from a trillion dollars to 1.7 trillion dollars because what they're doing is they're combining private-public partnerships, relaxing the restrictions on crony capitalism.
I have some concerns about that.
That's something that was always talked about by President Trump.
It's not a reversal like the DACA proposal is a reversal of what President Trump had spoken about.
And again, you know, when you look at an election, you're never going to agree with somebody 100%.
You look at some existential things and some of the other stuff that is happening there, you say, well, you know, that's something the other guy would do anyway.
So it's really kind of off the table.
Things like the using massive privatization of our infrastructure and giving ownership of it over.
Think about the toll roads that have been happening here.
That's a big trend that is happening.
Turning Americans into renters is really what that's about.
We've seen this happen recently.
Several decades ago, in the third world, as you had the International Monetary Fund going in and giving massive amounts of money to third world countries to build an entitlement state.
And as everybody said, they criticized McNamara for doing it.
Robert McNamara, the genius behind Vietnam.
Then, for the globalists, began to take over a lot of the developing countries, make sure they didn't develop.
They were not investing in their infrastructure.
Instead, what they were doing was they were investing in an entitlement program, and they called it rent-seeking.
But even if you build your infrastructure, If you build your infrastructure not with borrowed money that the government borrows and then operates and then people are going to be able to freely use it, but if you build your infrastructure and you create roads and bridges and toll bridges and toll roads and so forth that people are going to have to pay for in perpetuity to these Foreign corporations, then you really are turning your people into renters, and you really are rent-seeking.
So that's one aspect of what's going on.
But another troubling thing that has come up here is 5G. This has been a centerpiece for a U.N. agenda to confine us and to control us.
They called it U.N. Agenda 21.
An agenda for the 21st century.
Then they got more specific about their timing.
They've always been telling us that it's going to happen between 2020 and 2030.
And so then they started talking about the UN Agenda 2030 for sustainability.
And a key part of this, besides smart cities, is the Internet of Things.
The Internet of Things that would include your automobile.
That would run off of 5G technology.
And so we're going to talk about this.
We're going to talk about the political aspects of this, the economic aspects of this, the military aspects of this, and the health aspects of this.

And now we're going to talk about something that I think is a threat to the free speech of our country and to your free communication with other people.
And that is the takeover of of our communication infrastructure by the federal government.
They have been looking for ways to do this in so many different ways.
The FCC has been hard on this back in the Obama administration.
I'll show you that.
But now we have, as being reported by Axios, they reported a, this is a report they published last night.
Axios claims that the White House national security officials are considering an unprecedented federal takeover Of a portion of the nation's mobile spectrum network to protect against Chinese attacks, is what they're saying.
Hinting at upcoming trade wars between the two superpowers.
So it's not just a national security issue.
But they're saying, well, this may be part of an escalating trade war between China and the United States.
But let me tell you something.
This is about far more than a trade war.
This is about far more than national security.
It's about far more than better cell phone service.
This is an enabling technology of the smart city IoT, this Internet of Things, but I'm going to tell you, it's the Internet of Coomers, And it is the internet of tyranny as they envision this.
I'm going to lay this out for you.
But it's part of this UN Agenda 21, and they're not going to just leave the people in the cities as the only victims.
They're going to roll this system out into the rural areas as well.
Yes, this is going to be for everybody who can suffer under this.
Going back to 2016, August 2016, the LA Times...
Is 5G technology dangerous?
Early data shows a slight increase of tumors in male rats exposed to cell phone radiation.
Now, we've had all of these stories.
You've seen them on the Drudge Report for the last several days about spermageddon.
Are we going to have a sterilized population within a couple of decades?
Looking at how just over the last few decades we've seen a 60% decline in sperm.
This is not the first time we've had that reported.
There's been multiple reports of this.
They're just bringing it up again.
And when you look at the first test that they did with this, That it seemed to focus more on tumors in men.
They said this is very strange.
Or actually not men.
It was male rats. They were not testing humans yet.
You will be the guinea pig because they're not going to do any safety tests on this.
They're just going to roll it out.
And you better not get in the way, said Obama's FCC chairman.
I'll tell you that in just a moment.
But let's go back to the health studies that hit in August of 2016, about a year and a half ago.
Concerns about the potential harmful effects of radiofrequency radiation have dogged mobile technology, they said, since it hit in the 1980s.
And this is all the concerns about people saying, hey, if you hold your cell phone close to your head, yeah, we've seen a high increase in tumors, brain tumors.
Guys, don't keep your cell phones in your wallet because it has an effect on you there as well.
And now they're looking at 5G technology.
I'm going to tell you how that is different.
It's not just fifth generation.
The 3G, 4G, 5G is not generation.
It was gigahertz.
And this is microwave technology.
But once they go to higher frequencies, things changed significantly.
They say industry and federal officials have largely dismissed the fears of cell phones giving people tumors, although we have a lot of lawsuits that are being currently filed on that.

Welcome back. Let's talk about this 5G thing.
This is something that just surfaced in the last 24 hours.
We've been seeing the talk about a new infrastructure bill.
It's going to be part of the State of the Union.
It was originally talked about as being a $1 trillion bill that would have to have corporations involved in this because we're broke.
We're borrowing money from the Chinese for everything.
And the Federal Reserve. And these globalists that you saw at Davos.
They hold the purse strings.
And we just keep pushing the debt through the Federal Reserve on to future generations.
But there may not be any future generations as we continue to make people here in the West sicker and sicker with the toxins in our food, our drink, and the radiation that we're now planning to nationalize as part of this 5G network.
This has a lot of different components to it.
First of all, when they start talking about the federal government, this is a...
A report that came from Axios last night.
We'll see what happens with the White House tonight.
But this is a long-term plan of the military-industrial complex and the deep state.
This bridges multiple administrations.
And the question is whether or not Trump will buy into this or not.
Whether or not he'll try to sell this to the American people.
And will the American people, even though this is a deep state military industrial complex agenda, a UN agenda, a globalist agenda, even though that's what it is, will the people who would normally take the safety off of their guns, will they just complicitly sit back and say, oh, Trump's got it.
He's okay. If he says it's okay, I'll trust him.
That's my concern.
And so that's why I'm talking to you about this.
Understand we're talking about several different things if this memo is correct.
And I'll tell you what the memo, what Axios says the memo says.
White House national security officials have put this out, part of the military-industrial complex.
First of all, they want to nationalize an industry.
Do you see a problem with that?
I do. Next, they want to control our communications.
And not just control our communications through infrastructure and a network, but control the content.
And I'm going to show that to you as well.
Then they want to implement a smart city population control, controlling what people do.
But then, and we're going to focus on this first, there's the health issue.
And I believe that that's another type of population control, as in soft kill.
That's another aspect of this.
And it's all going to be done without your consent.
Without any information, without any testing, proper testing of this, because we've already had, as I started to talk about with the LA Times article of a year and a half ago, we've already had some testing that looks very, very concerning about 5G technology.
They said, of course, this is going to be essential for autonomous vehicles and for a spy grid.
And they're saying we've got to have...
This is how the military gets into it.
We've got to have this to protect us against Chinese hackers.
Yeah, okay. So we're going to...
Because we want to protect ourselves against communist authoritarians who don't have the best interests of Americans at heart.
We're going to create a nationalized industry, communist, and we are going to turn it over to the people who want to control all of our communications, and we're not going to do this, and we don't really care what health effects or what economic effects or what political effects it has on the American people.
Sounds like a great plan for security, doesn't it?
A national toxicology program, researchers, and this was done in May of 2016, took a look at 5G. And what they did was they took rats and they exposed them to nine hours of radiation a day.
Now, they did this and ten minutes on, ten minutes off.
Ten minutes on, ten minutes off for nine hours.
Let me explain to you something.
It's going to be far worse for you and I when we're the lab rats.
We are going to be getting this continuously, not for nine hours a day, ten minutes on, ten minutes off.
Okay, so that's really probably only four and a half hours of exposure.
We're going to be getting this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
And this is what they found.
They found increased incidences of rare brain and heart tumors.
At about the federally allowable level of cell phone radiation for brain exposure.
And here's the most interesting thing about this.
The rare incidences of the rare types of brain and heart tumors that they were able to create in these rats by exposing them to 5G technology was only found in male rats.
In male rats.
You want to talk about spermageddon?
This is the...
Hollywood must be jumping with delight at the prospect of this.
This is one way to get rid of toxic masculinity.
5G. You can make it toxic to be a male.
The American Cancer Society said that this marked, quote, a paradigm shift in our understanding of radiation and cancer risk.
They said this is the worst we have ever seen in terms of cell phone radiation studies.
It's 5G stuff. So what is our proposal?
Our proposal is to blanket the nation with 5G. And to do it, not even waiting for...
We can't wait because we've got to get this done by 2020 to 2030 time frame.
So we can't wait for private business to do this.
They just aren't doing it quickly enough.
And, you know, if private business did it and it was a slower rollout, people might get a clue as to just how bad this is.
But we start seeing epidemics of infertility and tumors in men.
And everybody will be saying, gee, what's going on?
This is awful. Maybe we should have some charity events to raise awareness for the sufferers of these diseases, but they won't look at the cause.
In July of 2016, the U.S. became the first nation to allocate a large swath of airwaves for 5G. Those airwaves could become available to consumers by 2020, and this is the timeline they're now talking about in this memo.
And, of course, the wonderful thing about this is that you can participate on Facebook and Twitter and you can watch movies now ten times faster than you can even with 4G. Entertaining ourselves to death.
The FCC, back in 2016, under Obama, voted unanimously to allow wireless providers access to high-frequency airwaves.
But here's the problem.
They can't carry data very far.
Because I said, remember we have, and you've seen this with your phones, right?
You got 3G, you got 4G, now you're going to have 5G. The G doesn't mean generation.
It's not third generation, fourth generation, fifth generation, which I wasn't really following this that closely.
That's kind of what I thought. No, that was actually the frequencies at which they work.
3G, 3 gigahertz, or if you prefer back to the future's pronunciation, Gigahertz, Marty.
Anyway, the 3 gigahertz or 4G is 4 gigahertz, gigahertz.
And when you get to 5G, what is it?
It's not 5 gigahertz.
It is 25 gigahertz.
They make a big jump in frequency.
It's 25, it's the mid-20s up to over 100 gigahertz.
And the problem comes from that high frequency.
By going to that high frequency, just as you think about your audio speakers, right?
You've got the big bass woofers, and they don't have to be directional.
You don't have to really worry about where you put those.
But you've got to aim the tweeters that are putting up high frequency stuff.
You've got to aim those pretty carefully.
And if you get away from the tweeter and you're not in line with that, you don't hear the high frequency as much.
Well, same thing is happening. With these microwave things.
It becomes more and more directional as the frequency increases.
And so what they're going to have to do is they're going to have to have repeaters everywhere.
And right now, it may be a priority for you, as it is for my family, if we're looking for a home.
We want to make sure that we don't build a home underneath electrical power lines.
And we want to make sure that we don't build our home right next to a cell phone tower.
Because, you know, the radiation decreases with a square of the distance, just the way that it works.
So, if you get, you know, move twice as far away, the radiation is a quarter of what it was.
And then it continues on with that.
So... We did not want to get close to a cell phone tower.
Well, guess what? You are not going to be able to avoid being close to a radiation emitter under 5G. They will be everywhere.
They'll be all up and down the street about as frequently as you see telephone poles right now, holding up the power lines.
They call them telephone poles.
I guess they're electric utility poles now.
We don't use telephone wires anymore.
But anyway, as frequently as you see these poles for utilities...
You will see these repeaters.
And they will be repeating inside apartment buildings, inside homes.
Wireless companies will have to install thousands of these.
They're going to be about the size of a smoke detector.
And they point out that by the end of last year, there was 308,000 wireless antennas on cell phone towers and buildings last year.
And that would have been 2015.
That was double the number that they were in 2002.
It is going to go up exponentially, exponentially, with 5G service.
They're going to have to have a station needed for every 12 homes.
And they're going to put them in rural areas.
You think you're going to be able to get away by moving out to the country?
No, no, no, no. They want to blanket the country in 5G. And we're going to talk about the political issues, the economic issues, coming up.

We're talking about 5G, and I spent the last segment talking about how this has been a dream of the deep state and how the military-industrial complex is reportedly trying to sell President Trump on this.
This is something they've been working on for quite some time.
It is a critical technology to support their smart cities initiative.
The United Nations, the globalists, the deep state have been pushing that smart cities initiative.
And it is built on an internet of things, the IOT. And let me tell you what those things are.
You may think that those things are your smart appliances or your autonomous automobiles.
But no, the IOT... Those things are going to be rare tumors for the brain and the heart, as they saw in their initial tests.
And, of course, they've shut that thing down and kind of kept that quiet.
Came out about a year and a half ago.
But only in males, interestingly enough.
Interestingly enough. But let's just rush on with this and let's roll out a national initiative here.
We're going to nationalize our communications infrastructure.
I'm opposed to that in principle.
We're going to talk about the political aspects of this, but let's get back to this report from Axios.
They say, Trump national security officials are considering an unprecedented federal takeover of a portion of the nation's mobile network in order to guard against China.
Now, these are the same people who turned over our economy, our manufacturing base to China.
How did they do that?
Well, they took somebody like Richard Nixon, the most stridently anti-communist politician they could find, and they used him as a beard.
Because, you know, if they had come up with a program to turn over our economy to China, And it was being sold by some kind of a lefty socialist.
The people on the right would have said, wait a minute, wait a minute, we're not going to do that.
But they all just laid down and said, no, I'm sure this is okay.
Richard Nixon doesn't like communism, so he's going to be looking out for our interests.
And you don't fall into that same trap this time.
Don't let this happen, because you think that President Trump is looking out for your interests.
Whether he knows this or not, you need to make yourself aware about this, and you need to pick up the phone and start calling people on Capitol Hill.
People ask me, well, what do I do?
Well, pick up the phone and complain about it.
Tell your neighbor, tell your congressman, in case your congressman doesn't care, tell your neighbor.
You get enough people to call these baboons.
That's what a group of baboons is called.
It's called a Congress. You call these baboons, your local baboon and the other baboons, and you start laying into them about...
The fact that you don't, and you can pick whatever you want, because we've got something here that is about controlling you and controlling the population, your movement, your speech, and so forth.
It's about soft kill.
It's about population control.
It's got health issues. It's going to control our content.
It's going to nationalize an industry.
So pick something.
It is a target-rich environment.
And you can pick up the phone and give them a call about each and every one of those things.
I'm calling today because I disagree with the idea that the federal government should roll out a 5G network because I disagree with nationalizing industries and having them under the control of central government.
Next call. I disagree with this and I'm calling today because I don't want the FCC controlling our content and our access to communications from the central government.
Next call. So forth.
You understand what I'm saying here?
We've got our hands on a PowerPoint deck and a memo, said Axios.
Both of these have been produced by a senior National Security Council official.
And they were presented recently to senior officials at other agencies in the Trump administration.
And what I'm saying is that before they buy into this and publicly make a statement...
And then get themselves into a position where they would have to back down and walk it back, and they're not going to likely do that because it would be embarrassing for them politically to say, you know what, I really didn't look at the issues here.
Yada, yada, yada. Get involved now.
It's like getting involved in the primaries before you don't have a good choice.
Before these guys lay down this course of action and then say, well, I've put my reputation on the line.
I'm not going to back out. I don't really care.
We'll kind of address it some other way down the road or something.
Tell them you don't want this.
And go down the list of issues.
I'm going to go into the rest of these issues when we come back.

That were severely abused by our legal system before they came after the Bundys.
As a matter of fact, the Bundys and supporters went up there to try to help them, to try to keep them from being drug off to prison.

They peacefully went to prison, but it doesn't mean that it was right.
And so we want to get an update on that situation from a lawyer who knows these land use issues and the thing that began the basis of the takeover there in Oregon of the Malheur Wildlife Refuge birdwatching station where they were camping out.
That became a big issue for the national media saying, look at these terrorists taking this over.
Well, it wasn't terrorism. What was terrorism?
It was a murder of LaVoy Finnecombe.
And his family, last Friday, I think it was, it might have been the previous Friday, put in a wrongful death lawsuit against the FBI and others.
So he may have some information on that as well.
But we're going to talk to him about the land use issues, and we're going to get an update on this gross misuse.
Appropriation of the law and law enforcement that happened with the Hammonds.
Tell you what happened with that.

Right now, I want to talk about what's going on with 5G. And if you just joined us, I've already talked about the health concerns with it.
This is based on a memo.
It was reported by Axios last night that the national security officials in the Trump administration, and I would say these are Deep state officials.
Because this is something that has been talked about over multiple administrations.
And it ties into smart cities.
They're talking about nationalizing aspects of our communication, which means that they're going to control content.
And Obama's FCC people have already, we've seen this multiple ways, trying to take over the actual content.
Not just what the FCC's position in the past.
They created the FCC to allocate frequency spectrum for radio, for television, and so forth.
You had a finite spectrum that was allocated for different uses.
And so what they did was they would manage that.
It would become a property that was auctioned off.
You know, kind of like they have mining and logging and mineral rights and so forth.
They auctioned those off. Those became property rights that people had.
But they had the FCC would administer that, but now they have decided that they're going to get into content.
And we saw this with the fact that they wanted to put people in newsrooms and study how people were doing content creation and so forth.
That is not anything that the government should have any involvement with whatsoever.
The government should be completely neutral to content.
They should not be studying how it's created so that they can then manipulate it.
We should not have the federal government using propaganda radio.
They made that legal here in the United States.
They had prohibited it when they created the propaganda networks during the Cold War.
Said you will not do that at home.
But just like the FISA situation, when they said, you know, we're going to let you spy on foreigners and foreign countries without a warrant.
And we're going to let you propagandize people through Radio Free Europe, Voice of America, and so forth.
But you're not going to do that at home.
You don't do that at home. Well, you know what?
The instruments to fight wars abroad always become instruments of tyranny at home.
The founders of our country didn't need to know about radio technology.
They didn't need to know about cell phone technology.
They knew about human nature.
Human nature means that the weapons of war and getting involved in wars abroad are going to eventually result in tyranny at home.
And so let's go back to what this is.
This is being sold as something to guard against China.
And as I said, don't take your guard down.
Remember that it was the anti-communist Richard Nixon that they used to send our manufacturing base to communist China.
And so now what we're looking at is nationalization of the communication grid with 5G so that they can impose a control On the existing population.
And as I pointed out when I was talking about the medical issues.
So they can institute population control and soft kill for the rest of us.
That's another part of it.
Kill the people who are here.
And then also tumors that affect only men.
As we see sperm counts plummeting.
This is probably a part of that.
And so what this basically amounts to is Obamacare.
But for the communication industry and for free speech, it is never a good idea to nationalize an industry.
And so what Axios is pointing out as I looked at this, I said the two main points in this document says America needs a centralized nationwide 5G network within three years.
Got to have it right now.
Because they had these plans that within between 2020 and 2030, they were going to control everybody with this UN agenda 21 or the agenda 2030 for sustainable cities and smart cities.
So we've got to have it now. They said there'll be fierce debate inside the Trump administration.
And there will be people on the outside.
This is one thing that will help us.
It's going to really gore the ox of a lot of multinational communications companies who have already been investing in this.
And they're basically going to see that investment taken over and wiped out by the federal government.
So let's hope that those types of things, even if you don't pick up the phone and call your congressman, Call this Congress of baboons.
If you don't call them and express your dismay and displeasure at nationalizing an industry, at controlling our communication content, at implementing control of the population, at implementing population control and soft kill, if you don't call them and complain about those things being done without your consent, without information, without studies being done, then maybe...
The competition between the big multinational corporations will slow or stop this.
Who knows? So here's the two options that were laid out by these documents that Axios got.
Number one, the U.S. government pays for and builds a single network, an unprecedented nationalization of an historically private infrastructure.
And that's what I'm concerned about with this infrastructure bill.
The $1.7 trillion, at least $0.7 trillion of it.
It's about private-public partnerships, but that's the topic for tomorrow.
The second option would be an alternative plan where wireless providers build their own 5G networks.
That has already begun. They're already doing that.
A source familiar with the document drafting says that option two, where you have private industry billing this, is really no option at all.
Because they said a single centralized network is what is required to protect us against the Chinese and other bad actors.
Why are the Chinese bad?
Is it just because they're Chinese?
Is it because they're taking our jobs in industry?
Yeah, I mean, they're taking our jobs in industry, but, you know, they're bad actors because it is an authoritarian dictatorship still run by a communist central committee.
People tend to think of the Russian government as a continuation of the Soviet Union, when in reality there's only about 30% of the people there who support the old communist system.
Most of them would be better voters for us to have than the people that are coming in here illegally, because they've lived under communism and they don't like that system.
But in China, even though the people don't like communism, the communists have maintained a very strong central control.
They're still doing their five-year committee plans.
Traditional, old, mainline communism.
Still going on in China.
And you've still got this guy, Xi, who sees himself as a new Mao.
I guess we'd call him a neo-Mao.
A neocon, you've got a neo-communist, Xi.
And so, you know, these people are a centralized network to combat, to turn our country into communism and a communist dictatorship in order to fight a communist dictatorship.
They've always said the problem with war is you become what you fight.
And this is a plan to become what we fight.
And it's being sold, however, as a 21st century equivalent to Eisenhower's national highway system, which we would never be able to build today because our corruption in our departments of transportation, the cost overruns, the kickbacks to the people the cost overruns, the kickbacks to the people who are building the road and everything.
they couldn't possibly afford to build a national highway system.
This is why they're looking to have it funded by multinational corporations abroad and turn us all into renters.
Because of the internal corruption and cost overruns.
We can't bill something like that.
But they're going to push this as a 21st century Eisenhower information superhighway.

I'm David Knight, and we're talking about the proposal...
It's part of the infrastructure, perhaps.
We'll have to wait and see what happens.
We have a lot that's going to be talked about in terms of infrastructure with the State of the Union.
That's already been tipped.
And then last night, we had Axios saying they have some documents from the national security individuals inside the Trump administration saying that they want to nationalize the wireless communications industry, put out the next generation 5G. We've been talking about how that is a bad idea from a health standpoint.
It is a bad idea from a governmental standpoint, from a freedom standpoint.
It's a bad idea all around.
I've been telling you about 5G. What is it?
It's a very, very high frequency microwave communication.
They've already done some tests that caused the American Cancer Society and others to be very concerned.
They said it was the most concerning test we've ever had in terms of health effects of cell phone radiation.
And they found that just by exposing rats to Nine hours a day, ten minutes on, ten minutes off.
So it's only about 50% of the time that they were actually exposed to this.
They found very, very rare tumors developing in the brain and the hearts of male rats.
They said, well, we should look at this some more.
But then the military says, no, no, no, no, no.
We've got a schedule here.
We've got Agenda 21 supposed to be coming in 2020 to 2030.
Let's roll this out. Let's roll it out nationwide.
And they're going to have to be putting these transmitters about the distance of utility poles right now because at these high frequencies that they're operating at, these microwave transmitters, they are going to have to put them everywhere.
Every 12 apartment units in an urban area is going to have to have one of these things.
You want to talk about smart meters? You're worried about smart meters and the health effects of that, the privacy effects of that?
This is way beyond that.
Way beyond that. And they're not going to leave the rural areas alone either.
This has got to be a national rollout.
This is why the government has to get involved.
And they portray this now as a national security issue.
Putting China out there as the big boogeyman.

I mean, we're back to the Russians did it, the Chinese did it, scaring everybody into giving up their freedom, giving up their liberty, giving up their free speech, and giving up their health protection for all of this.
And so to protect ourselves from the Chinese communist authoritarians, we will become communists by nationalizing an industry, and then we will become the authoritarian tyrants By using it to oppress our people.
That's what the internet of things is.
The IOT as you see it.
It's an internet of tumors and internet of tyranny as I said before.
And it brings up questions as to what is the proper role of government.
And these are questions that need to be discussed in light of what is going to be coming up with the infrastructure bill in general.
Even before this 5G thing came out.
We need to be talking about whether or not we should be turning over our infrastructure to multinational corporations abroad.
And then turn the American people into renters.
We've got the generals at top, and we've got the foot soldiers coming in through the borders.
That's the globalism that's happening to us.
And this is something that the UN and these globalist corporations have been fighting for, starting for quite some time.
And I just don't understand why, if it is a bad idea...
For the government to control healthcare, and it is a bad idea.
Why do we turn over our free speech to them to manage and to control the infrastructure?
So there's a couple of things that may get in the way of this if you don't bother to call and complain to the Congress.
As I said earlier, a group of baboons is called a Congress.
I can't get past that.
It is so epic because that's exactly what they are.
A group of baboons.
With big red behinds.
Disrupting private investment.
That's going to be one of the obstacles of this because you've already got a lot of corporations that have invested a great deal of money in it.
So you've got some of the corporations like Verizon, AT&T have put a lot of money in this.
Others, like T-Mobile, haven't.
And so what that would do is give a competitive advantage to T-Mobile.
They would be able to jump into a...
An infrastructure that was paid for by the federal government and AT&T and Verizon would lose their competitive advantage for having invested in this.
So that's one hopeful sign here.
Also, it will get some pushback from the satellite industry because it uses that same spectrum.
And so that's going to interfere with what they want to do.
Thirdly, it has a very short time frame.
They want to get this done in three years.
Because again, remember the Agenda 21 stuff was supposed to happen between 2020 and 2030.
That was when they were supposed to get us packed into the cities, when they got us under their complete control.
Remember the military axiom?
Okay, communicate, movement, communication, and shooting.
Those are the three things that they have to control in a population to control the population.
So here's the communication part.
The movement part is also tied into this 5G because it's the 5G that's going to be used to control your movement with autonomous vehicles.
They can't force you otherwise into their public transportation, so they will use the carrot and the stick.
And this is the tool that they use to force you into the vehicles.
But they have a very short time frame.
They said even with private sector resources and competitive incentives to move as quickly as possible, they think that it will take nationwide carriers close to a decade to build out a full 5G network.
Ten years. That isn't much time.
And oh cool, we're still inside that 2020 to 2030 time window, aren't we?
Still on schedule. Still on schedule.
Even if they do it without making it some kind of a national security emergency.
Which is what the Pentagon, the military-industrial complex, is trying to sell it as.
And then, of course, there's massive political blowback.
As a lot of people don't really like to have control usurped by the federal government.
There's going to be a lot of people who say, you're going to be using eminent domain.
We don't like you using eminent domain.
And again, when we go back and we look at the health risks of using ultra-high microwave frequency antennas that are going to be right next to you, you can't get away from these things.
Remember, when you get away from the other ones, the intensity decreases with a square of the distance.
But they're going to put them right next to you.
Everywhere you go. Right next to you.
Even in the rural areas. Tom Wheeler, Obama's FCC chairman, said, stay out of the way of technological development.
And they said, this is secretenergy.com.
They said, that sounds like a threat, doesn't it?
He's also said, it's going to be a game changer.
National priority. Tens of billions of dollars to be spent.
This is before Trump came in.
This is why I'm saying this is a deep state initiative.
Don't let them push this through with the generals that are in the Trump cabinet.
Don't let them gaslight President Trump.
You let him know, you let the congressman know.
You don't want to have any part of this.
No part of the country will be safe from this.
And at a July 14th press conference back in 2016, they had a Bloomberg news reporter, Todd Shields, had his press credentials confiscated by members of the FCC security force.
What was his offense? To Wheeler, who was chair of the FCC. Wheeler said, I'll give you back your credentials, but you better, quote, behave responsibly.
So when they take over our communications, and our communications are run by the FCC, you better behave responsibly.
Because if they don't like what you're saying, they will shut you down.
This is going to go far beyond the tyranny that we're currently seeing with their surrogates at Facebook, Twitter, and Google.

The FBI now tells us that the founder of RT beat himself to death in his hotel room.
I'm going to give you the details of this.
We see this kind of stuff happening all the time from the FBI. Oh, we lost the texts.

Claiming that the RT founder beat himself to death in his hotel room.
First they told everybody that it was a heart attack, and then they said, oh, no, no, he died of blunt trauma.

Alright, so this is something that just came out yesterday.
FBI releases docs claiming that the RT founder beat himself to death in his hotel room in November of 2015.
This has been going on for a long time.
The Free Thought Project reported that Mikhail Lesin, former head of media affairs for the Russian government and the founder of Russia Today, RT, was found dead in a hotel room that he was staying in in Washington, D.C. Authorities announced that he had died from a heart attack.
However, the results of his autopsy, released months later, indicated a far more sinister cause of death.
The heavily redacted FBI documents that were just released add to that story.
So they've just now released the heavily redacted FBI documents.
They detail the FBI investigation into his death.
They were just released Saturday morning in spite of the fact that the investigation ended in October of 2016.
So here we are, a year and four months later.
We see the FBI redacted documents, and here's what we've learned.
In spite of the original cause of death being originally noted as a heart attack, a few months later, the District of Columbia's Office of Chief Medical Examiner and the Metropolitan Police Department said that, quote, blunt force injuries of the neck, torso, upper extremities, and lower extremities contributed to his death.
And then he had a heart attack, maybe, huh?
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner released the cause and the manner of death from Mikhail Lesin.
They said the cause of death, blunt force injuries of the head.
Okay, so he was beaten to death.
No, he did it to himself!
He did it to himself, according to the FBI. And they lost all the texts.
All the Samsung texts.
They're gone. And they can't find Hillary Clinton's emails.
And on and on and on from the FBI. Now FBI investigators have released the results of their investigation claiming the blunt force trauma all over his body was self-inflicted.
They claim that he got so drunk that he repeatedly and violently fell on things until he killed himself.
You remember when they had the spy in the bag thing?
Some guy that worked for British intelligence.
And they found the guy zippered up in a bag.
And dead in the bag was in the bathtub in his apartment.
But no worry, because there was no foul play involved there.
And as everybody went hysterical laughing at the absurdity, not about his death, it's a tragedy, but at the absurdity of the lies and the fact that these people think we will believe anything because the government says so.
Give me a break.
Give me a break.
And they even got a contortionist.
I'm serious. They got a contortionist to say, look, I can actually, you know, somebody who's like double-jointed.
You've seen the people doing this stuff on YouTube.
You know, they can dislocate their elbows and stuff, you know, do a Houdini act type of thing.
They got a contortionist to actually say, look, I can get in the bag and I can actually zip it.
To which I did a report when that all happened.
I said, okay, fine. Let's see him do that now without leaving any fingerprints.
This is the insanity that we see all the time.
I mean, we just had a situation, I think it was last weekend, the weekend before that, the billionaire couple in Canada.
He was a pharmaceutical guy.
He had been involved with the Clintons, with Haiti and other things.
He had had a big, big heavy hitter contributor both in Canada and in the United States with the Clinton Foundation.
And with the misappropriation of funds being looked at very closely, this couple suddenly turned up dead.
And it was originally sold to everybody as a murder-suicide that he supposedly, this guy who had some health issues, he was in his mid to late 60s and so was his wife.
And she was a bit on the heavy side for a guy who's not very strong.
But supposedly, even though there was no indication they'd been married for decades, there's no indication of any marital issues.
He'd supposedly killed his wife and then committed suicide.
First, he killed his wife, supposedly by strangling her and then tying her to a railing and throwing her over, had her dangling above the pool, it appeared to be saying.
And then he did the same thing to himself.
And as some people pointed out, well, you know, that'd be pretty difficult for him to pull off physically to be even capable of doing that, even if he had the motive to do that.
But here's a guy who has one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world.
And he knows what these drugs are for.
If he wanted to do a murder-suicide, don't you think he would use some pharmaceuticals to do it?
Wouldn't that make sense? And then the pictures, because this house was listed on the marketplace, the pictures came out of the railing and the pool.
And it wasn't a railing up above a pool where they would be dangling by the neck and hanging down like you see the pictures of the drug cartels killing people in Mexico.
It wasn't that at all.
They had been bound and they had, there were signs that they had been bound prior to that and then removed.
And then they were both sitting, she was sitting in a pool of her blood and they were both sitting there leaning up against the railing and then strangled against the railing.
How did he do that to himself?
Oh, maybe the same way this RT founder beat himself to death, beat himself to death in the apartment.

We're just talking about the curious case of the man who beat himself to death in his hotel room and happened to have connections to RT, according to the FBI. Maybe we should call them the FIB. I've mentioned that many times.
The FBI has turned into the FIB. And of course, as my crew reminded me, I should not fail to mention Gary Webb, who was reported after he exposed the crack cocaine rigging of the CIA and others.
The Iran-Contra thing.
After he exposed all that, he had the mainstream media push back against him.
After he won some awards, he had a concerted effort from the LA Times to discredit him, to cost him his job.
He was on his way with a new book, making a comeback, and then he committed suicide by shooting himself twice in the head.
Kind of like this guy who beat himself to death.
In the hospital, enemy of the state.
And I should also mention that the family of the billionaire couple that was originally reported as a murder-suicide, they hired private investigators and they put pressure on the Canadian investigation and now they have said that this was a murder.
But they don't know who would do it.
Maybe we should ask the Clintons.
Maybe we should look at the long history of the Clintons.
And we're going to take a look at some updates as to what's going on with the FBI Department of Justice coup that was put together.
But before we do, I just want to point out, you know, Scott Adams, I've talked to him multiple times, been a frequent guest here, and with Alex Jones, the creator of Dilbert.
And he is a master at communications, at motivations, at why people do certain things.
And on his blog, he was talking about this release the memo thing.
And it really got my attention because I've talked about this from the very beginning.
Release the memo, who are they begging permission for?
Because they are in charge.
The Intelligence Committee could release it.
They could declassify anything there.
President Trump could declassify the memo.
You could have any member of Congress, as Glenn Greenwald and Judge Napolitano have pointed out, any member of Congress could, with impunity, read the memo on the House floor, read it in the public record for everybody, and they would not face any prosecution.
And you've already had these people say, well, there's nothing in there that reveals sources or methods, so really, what are we waiting for, right?
Well, they want to put this out, and this is the genius of Scott Dilbert.
He said, how do you defend yourself?
against charges that are not true and people throw out an allegation and they say prove that this isn't true Well, you can't disprove a negative like that, right?
We saw that with the attacks against Judge Roy Moore.
You throw something out there and the person makes the allegation, prove that you didn't do this 40 years ago.
They don't have to prove that you did it because they're women.
They're women. And we're in a Me Too moment here.
So they don't have to prove it.
You have to disprove it.
Well, you can't disprove it.
And the people with the biggest microphone win, right?
Even if he comes out and says, well look, she lied about this, she lied about that, she lied about that, this other one lied about this.
Even those are just details.
We don't want to see those details.
The person with the biggest megaphone wins.
The biggest bullhorn.
The people with the biggest bullhorn can sell the bull.
And so that's really been kind of the situation.
So you've had all the mainstream media out there coming after Trump.
Prove that there wasn't Russian collusion.
Prove that you didn't have anything to do with it.
Well, if you didn't have anything to do with it, how is he going to prove it?
How is he going to disprove that, right?
And so he said it's kind of a masterstroke that the Republicans would come out and say, hey, we've got proof that they did it.
And we've got it here in the memo.
But I can't show up to you.
It's top secret. And I'm like, yeah, that's probably what they're hyping.
I know that there's stuff there.
I'm certain that there is stuff there.
But I don't know why they're hyping it.
I don't know why they won't release it.
And now we got this being pushed back, same approach that he was just talking about.
Mark Warner said, you know, we've had some new information that was released at the end of the year.
We had some document dumps at the end of the year.
They produced very significant revelations that have opened up a lot of new questions.
So he puts out these vague generalities about, oh yeah, so this means that this investigation is actually real.
And I have this information, but I cannot allow you to see it.
He's doing the same release the memo game that the Republicans...
They do that to Trump, and the Republicans come back, and we've got some information, but we can't show you.
Now Mark Warner is doing the same thing.
It was a coordinated attack to discredit and impede this investigation by Trump zealots, but I can't show you the information.
Can't show you the information. Well, I think there really was a criminal investigation.
Criminal actions being done by the FBI, by Rosenstein, by Mueller, by Comey and others.
I mean, we've seen what Comey did.
You can't say that Hillary Clinton committed multiple felonies and then you're not going to prosecute her.
That wasn't even his responsibility to do it in the first place.
But there's so much about this that doesn't pass the sniff test.
There is no special prosecutor law.
I've mentioned this over and over again.
Nobody wants to talk about this.
Nobody. Nobody.
Nobody wants to talk about the fact there's no special.
Why isn't that an issue?
If you're going to have a special prosecution, shouldn't you have some rules, some guidelines?
Shouldn't you have legal authority for that?
They did at one point in time.
They came up with that.
It went to the Supreme Court, and it was upheld 8 to 1.
Justice Scalia said this is going to turn into a witch hunt.
And after they had done it for about 15 years, they said, you know what?
It turned into a witch hunt.
Let's not do this again. They let it expire in 1999.
So there is no controlling legal authority for this, and he can do whatever he wants, and it is a witch hunt.
It's a witch hunt without even the pretense of rules.
Why is the Justice Department doing that?
It's the same questions I have about DACA. DACA is not a law.
DACA was a memo by Janet Napolitano when she was Homeland Secretary saying, I'm not going to enforce the border laws.
I'm going to defer acting on the border laws as Homeland Security.
She was in charge of enforcing the borders.
So she does that. Now we have to pretend that DACA is some kind of a foundational document.
That it is more important than our Constitution or anything else.
This is worth shutting the government down?
They can hold the wall and all border security hostage to amnesty and citizenship for DACA recipients?
Because of a memo that the Homeland Security Secretary under Obama said, I'm not going to enforce the law?
I just don't understand why we get held hostage to this.
Why you've got Jeff Sessions saying he's going to argue about We're not repealing DACA. There isn't anything to repeal.
There was a memo by the former Homeland Secretary saying she wasn't going to enforce the law.
So you just say, well, here's our new memo.
We're going to enforce the law.
And that's basically what Trump said back in September.
He said, I'm going to enforce the law. So if you don't like that, you better change it.
Why do we have to argue that in the Supreme Court?
No law has been changed.
The law was enforced prior to that.
Making a special case and saying there's a certain class of people for whom we're not going to enforce the law smells like what Comey did with Hillary Clinton.
I don't like double-speaking politicians who say they're going to throw the people who are here illegally out and say, but we can't because they're kids or whatever.
You know, it's just too tough to do that.
I don't like double-talking politicians, and I don't like double standards in the law either.
I don't like saying, well, we've got one law.
For Hillary Clinton and another law for the rest of you.
And I've got one law for the DACA people, these dreamers.
That's a fantasy.
There was a dream act that never got passed.
But then they named the people that they wanted to include in their dream act, they named them dreamers.
So we got this fantasy group of people who aren't even American citizens and the rest of everything we do needs to be held hostage to them.
I just don't understand it.
I mean, this truly is an Alice in Wonderland that we're living here in Washington, in the Washington Rico area.
The FBI, as now reported, had previously looked at setting up a special prosecutor for Hillary Clinton and decided, nah, we're not going to do it.
They even had a name. They had U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald's name.
This has now come out of some texts that have now surfaced between Peter Strzok and his lawyer mistress.
Fitzgerald was a special prosecutor who brought charges against Scooter Libby.
And he also led the prosecution in New York of crime boss John Gambino.
And they said in their memos that, yeah, we're talking about having this guy, but it didn't happen.
And this is some of the memos that have now been released.
They have released 7,000 to congressional investigators.
Just 14% reports to Washington Examiners Byron York.
That's out of the 50,000 texts.
So they've released, well, 85% of them have not been released.
And now the FBI says they can't find the text messages of Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
Isn't that convenient? Maybe they're in the apartment where the former founder of RT beat himself to death.

Don't know. But here's what Trey Gowdy had to say.

To Hillary Clinton, Podesta, and others, giving them two weeks to respond because it appears that they committed perjury under oath about the origins of this dossier.

As I was saying just before we went to break, the FBI is now saying they can't find Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's emails.
And of course, there were emails going back and forth between Peter Strzok and his lawyer mistress saying, well, you know, let's talk about the scenario that we laid out in Andy's office.
And when Trey Gowdy, I think it was Trey Gowdy, who went on CNN or MSNBC, one of these, anyway, I think it was Trey Gowdy, and he said something about Andy, and he goes, I don't know about Andrew McCabe.
She said, wait a minute, are you saying that was Andrew McCabe?
Well, no, I would never say, well, you just implied that it was Andrew McGaib.
And I said at the time when we watched that, I said, well, maybe he's talking about Andy from Toy Story.
Who knows? What Andy could it be?
What Andy could it be? And of course, we're not going to be allowed to see his emails.
Let's not pretend that they have lost the text messages.
The FBI is simply stonewalling.
And the question is, why?
Why? It's obvious that they're trying to cover up something, and I think we all know what they're trying to cover up.
I wish they would release the memo, but let's talk about Trey Gowdy.
He gives some hints about what may be in this FISA memo, as he is questioned about it yet again.
Here's Trey Gowdy. This memo is nothing but a distilling, the reducing of thousands of pages of documents provided to us by the department and the bureau.
So there's nothing in this memo that the department is not already aware of.
If you think your viewers want to know whether or not the dossier was used in court proceedings, whether or not it was vetted before it was used, whether or not it's ever been vetted, if you are interested in who paid for the dossier, if you're interested in Christopher Steele's relationship with Hillary Clinton and the Democrat National Committee, then yes, you'll want the memo to come out.
If you're Adam Schiff, who is...
Consistently wrong when it comes to issues of disclosure.
He didn't want us to find out any of this information, Chris.
He fought. In fact, GPS went to court.
Fusion GPS went to court to keep us from finding out that the Democrats paid for the dossier.
So, if you're Adam Schiff, of course you don't want the information to come out.
You didn't want us to find it in the first place.
This memo answers what I think are really legitimate questions, and I do think the FBI should look at it before it is released.
And I have provided that counsel to Chairman Nunes, and I think that he has taken that under advisement.
So I want to play face-up poker.
I want the Bureau to know everything that's in the memo.
I think you'll be surprised.
It is not a hit piece on the department and the FBI. I would not have participated in it.
Okay, and again, if the DNC or political opponents paid to have a fictitious document created, a dossier, that immediately lends it credibility to call it a dossier.
But if they come up with this fictional piece of filth and then they use that as a basis to shop around a search warrant from from FISA in order to spy on the Trump people, both before the election, during the transition time and afterwards, both before the election, during the transition time and afterwards, that's a big deal because now you've got a search warrant that's based upon a lie.
And not only that, but a lie created by political opponents.
And you've got all of these political connections between these people in the FBI and the Democrats, especially the Clintons.
So that is a big issue.
And yes, the American people should know about that.
And this is what I've been saying for two years, that we've got a politicized intelligence agency that has now openly come out to throw an election.
That's why this should be looked at.
That's why this is far, far worse than anything like Watergate.
Watergate, you had a couple of burglars.
I've been saying this for the longest time.
I said it to Megyn Kelly. It was like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
What about that Putin interview I had?
I said, well, what about... Brennan and Hayden and Clapper and these other people who are overthrowing our government here in a coup while they're spying on Americans.

Release the memo. And Trump has ignored the Department of Justice, has said that releasing this memo would be extraordinarily reckless.
And he said they told Sessions that he wants the FISA memo released.
Well, you know, President Trump could also do that.
He doesn't have to ask anybody permission.
The people in Congress who are saying, we've got to release the memo, hashtag release the memo, they could release it too.
I find that very suspicious that they won't do it.
I think they need to just release it.
Let us know. As people have said, President Trump ought to release it.
If it wasn't so long, he could put it out on Twitter.
What is it?
256 characters long or something extended it.
But anyway, he could put it out on Twitter.
It would take forever, but he could have somebody do it for him.
Or he could read it at the State of the Union address tomorrow night.
Whatever. I mean, he doesn't have to get Sessions' permission.
Sessions works for him.
He's the president. He can declassify this.
Congressional leaders, Senators Chuck Grassley and also Lindsey Graham, have written six Judiciary Committee letters.
And they've written these letters to John Podesta.
Donna Brazile, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Robbie Mook, the DNC, and Hillary for America, Chief Strategist Joel Benenson.
So they've sent these people letters, and they've asked each of them for some clarification.
We need a little bit more about what you said under oath.
I think that's going to be kind of interesting.
GOP congressional investigators have written these six letters to individuals or entities that are thought to be involved in funding and creating and distributing the dirty dossier, the filthy fiction from Fusion GPS.
And it was used by the FBI, Department of Justice, and so forth.
And this is interesting because people like Podesta, for example, in this Zero Hedge article, had pointed out Podesta denied under oath to the Senate Intelligence Committee that he knew about the dossier's funding.
Oh, that would be troublesome, wouldn't it?
If it were to turn out that they had evidence that he did know about that, which appears to have come out.
That's why the senators have written these letters to him and to others.
Current and past leaders of the DNC, including Debbie Wasserman Schultz, have also denied that they had any knowledge of the document's funding, and yet...
We have seen evidence that the DNC did, in fact, fund it.
Podesta met with Fusion co-founder Glenn Simpson the day after the Trump-Russia dossier was published by BuzzFeed.
And so they send these letters out and they say, you know, we'd like to know a little bit about this.
Number one, the source of the Fusion GPS and Mr.
Steele's funding. Can you tell us a little bit about that?
Number two, the degree to which his claims were or were not verified.
Number three, the motivation of Mr.
Steele, his clients, and his sources.
And number four, representations about their contacts with the press.
So they're putting a pretty fine line on it, and they're giving them just two weeks to comply with the request.
So that should be very interesting.
Meanwhile, we have, and I just played that clip for you with Trey Gowdy.
Saying, wouldn't you want to know if we had this phony dossier that was the basis for this whole investigation, was based on a phony dossier that was shopped around, that was created by the opposition?
Wouldn't you like to know that?
Why don't we release this memo?
Well, while he's saying that, I thought it interesting that both Trey Gowdy and Lindsey Graham have been defending Bob Mueller.
Lindsey Graham said he's doing a good job.
Doing a good job on Sunday.
He said, oh yeah, if he fired Mueller without cause, I mean, Mueller's doing a good job.
I have confidence in him to get to the bottom of all things Russia.
All things Russia. There is no limit to all things Russia.
They're now saying that the Russians funded the NRA. That's being reported by NPR. The National Rifle Association has connections with Russia, so we've got to take down the NRA. It never ends.
And then Lindsey Graham went on to say, and Don McGahn, if the story is true in the New York Times, did the right thing.
And the good news is the president, listen, what he's talking about is one of the President Trump's White House counsels threatened to resign if President Trump fired Mueller.
I mean, it's not a problem that Mueller obstructed justice by hiding 9-11 documents.
Nah, it's not a problem. Or his involvement in Uranium One or the fact that the FBI under Mueller would put a gag on somebody who put a gag order on him, make him sign a non-disclosure agreement, threaten him to go to jail if he talked about the dirty dealings and the fact that the FBI already knew that there was corruption with the company that bought Uranium One before it was approved by all of the usual suspects who are now involved in this investigation.
Russiagate conspiracy theory.
That was also Mueller.
But he says, all this stuff about the FBI and Department of Justice having a bias against Trump and Clinton needing to be looked at, I never believed it affected Mr.
Mueller, says Lindsey Graham.
Why golly, he's a good guy.
You can trust Bob Mueller.
And then Trey Gowdy says the GOP needs to stop the hyperbole and leave Mueller the hell alone.
Wow. Wow.
What's going on with these guys?
What does the FBI have on Lindsey Graham?
Do they have anything on...
I can come up with a lot of stuff I can imagine they got on Lindsey Graham.
But what do they have on Trey Gowdy, if anything?
Why would he say that? I don't know.
I don't know why he would say that.
As I said, they were trying to now allege a link between the NRA and Russia.
Because this is all about the fact that we've got to pretend that there was election meddling going on.
Marco Rubio has introduced some legislation.
Marco Rubio. I mean, he wouldn't be anti-Trump at all, would he?
He's introduced some legislation to talk about the fact we've got to combat election meddling.
Because all them Russians.
And he did this.
At an event for the Council on Foreign Relations, no connections to see here, right?
Says, yeah, I'll be, I'm sorry, he didn't do that at the, it was Vice President Joe Biden who endorsed that legislation at the Council on Foreign Relations.
And said, yeah, we really should do that.
You know, we want to talk about all of this Russian conspiracy theory.
And we want to use this as a beard to try to remove Trump from office.
Let me tell you what's really going on to hack the election.
It's called DACA. It's called DACA. If the Russians really wanted to hack our election, what they would do is they would come over one at a time Across the border.
They could come in through Mexico.
They could come in through Canada. Doesn't matter.
None of our borders are really secure.
They could come over one at a time.
Like I mentioned with the Nazis.
I said, you know, all this stuff with Churchill fighting them.
You know, the movie that just came out, The Darkest Hour.
They could have easily conquered Britain without firing a shot if they just waited a while.
You know, they just draw the line there in France and just wait for a while.
And then gradually, one by one, send over German Nazis and they could, when they got enough people there, they could vote Hitler into office or people that would be Hitler-like.
And again, the Russians could do the same thing here.
Just send a bunch of Russians over and wait a while and we'll make them citizens.
They can go on welfare until they've been here long enough that we just don't have the heart to send them back.
See, when you do that...
You can talk about all the security measures that you want to.
You can talk about the wall.
You can talk about all these other things that they're doing.
But if you were going to put the incentive out there to people that if you come here, come here illegally in whatever numbers you want to come here illegally, that you can go on this entitlement program.
And I've had people leaving comments on videos saying, yeah, you know, I'm a university student and I'm seeing how they get preferential treatment.
Cuomo wants to let the Dreamers go to college for free.
Not the Americans.
Not the American citizens whose families have been here paying taxes.
No, the Dreamers can go to college for free, but only the Dreamers.
And I've had a lot of people leaving comments saying they're getting preferential treatment.
They get preferential treatment for employment and other things.
So we have two classes of citizens.
And if you're an American citizen or you're a legal immigrant, you're in the lower class.
The dreamers, they are the preferred ones.
The people who are foreign citizens criminally trespassing here, they're the ones who prefer.
They have an entitlement.
We have a two-tiered system.
Just like we have one system for Hillary Clinton and her friends, We have another system for the foreign illegal immigrants.
And they get away with things that you don't get away with as an American citizen, just like Hillary Clinton does.
And when I look at all this stuff, no matter how many walls you build, no matter how many policemen you buy, if you give them that incentive, that entitlement...
It's not going to work out well for us.
And as I'm looking at this, I've got to say, this is looking more and more to me like the war on drugs.
The war on the border.

We're going to be talking in this segment to Todd McFarlane.
I'm going to talk to him about land use issues that have been affecting ranchers, miners, loggers across the country.
It's been at the heart of what happened at the Bundy standoff, also in Oregon, with the occupation there of the Malheur.
There has been a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of Lavoie Finicum.
He may have some information about that.
But I wanted to get into the story of the Hammonds because that's a story that although people are somewhat familiar, there's been a lot of disinformation about what happened with the Bundys, and we've tried to address that here many times.
There hasn't really been that much discussion about the story of the Hammonds.
And so I wanted to get him on to talk about that because when you see these individual issues, then that lays down the broader principles that these people are being persecuted for, that they're suffering for, and that is bringing that into view.
So I want to talk to Todd McFarlane.

He's a seasoned veteran of the conflicts between ranchers and the federal government over land and resource issues.
So joining us now is Todd McFarlane.
Welcome, Mr. McFarlane. Thank you.
Let's talk a little bit about, before we get into the principles involved here, let's talk a little bit about the particular case.
Give the audience a little bit of a background for the Hammonds.
What happened? What sent them to prison?
I know they were charged with terrorism charges and everything, but let's talk a little bit about the events that led up to it, especially the prescribed burns, which is something that's standard for ranchers.
People who live on the land understand that, but most people who live in Sure.
I'll try to do that in a nutshell because they are somewhat complex and kind of cover the span of a fair number of years, over a decade.
And so to kind of break that down into a nutshell, it'll take a minute.
But Dwight and Stephen Hammond were ranchers.
Their family owned a ranch in Harney County.
Oregon, outside of Burns, it was a neighbor, too, and it joined the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
And one of the things that they, and I think a lot of the ranchers in that area would say, is that the federal government, for a long period of time, had been trying to push them out, had been actively trying to acquire their ranches and get them off the land.
And, of course, a lot of ranchers It basically went along with that.
Cliven Bundy said the same thing in Clark County, Nevada.
20 years ago, there were 50 ranchers in that area, and it got down to the point that he was the last one.
And many of them had been bought out, pushed out, regulated out of business, and that is the common complaint, but the same theme that applied to the Hammonds in Harney County, Oregon.
And it's a gradual process.
Let me interject here, Mr.
McFarland. It's a gradual process.
I've talked to loggers, I've talked to miners, and it's always the same situation.
They gradually restrict their property rights that they've held in many cases, multiple generations, some of them 150 years.
They gradually start ramping those things down to where they become useless and starve them out of business.
And then when you've just got a couple of them left, then they start using some real heavy-handed tactics on those people.
That's exactly right.
It's the epitome of the old boiling frogs analogy.
It really is, and you're absolutely right.
They take those right very gradually, and we just get boiled slowly is what it boils down to.
So Harney, or excuse me, Hammonds, they were some of the few that weren't going along with basically the federal government's agenda, so they started pushing back a little bit, and as they did, as is often the case, they were singled out for retaliation.
They were picked on, and if you go back and study this case, there's no question that that happened over a long period of time.
Every time They wanted to do something like get a temporary permit to trail their cattle across the refuge.
The refuge managers and BLM managers and the Department of Interior would not cooperate.
They fenced them out of an important and critical water hole on their ranch, for example.
They did a lot of things like that, basically, because Hammonds weren't going along with everything just to get along like a lot of the other ranchers in the area were.
And so that became a pattern.
I think it's important that people understand that they were basically just trying to stand up for themselves, stand their ground, and keep going in the ranching industry, which isn't an easy thing to do anyway.
Absolutely. Yeah, they're doing...
Going back again to the Bundys, I mean, they're trying to raise cattle out in the middle of a desert.
It was really difficult. And what they did was they said, well, we're going to restrict the time periods in which you can graze your cattle, and we're going to not let you graze your cattle during the most critical time for you to graze your cattle.
So they gradually would restrict that down to the extent that as Clive and Bundy looked at it and he said, look, they're not trying to manage anything except try to manage me off of the land.
And he said, I'm not going to pay them fees because I'm not really even constitutionally required to do that.
And we'll get into those constitutional issues.
But then tell us what happened with the Hammonds.
Right. So I think really what it boiled down to is the BLM, the federal government, was just laying in wait, basically, watching for the right opportunity to really pound.
And that opportunity presented itself with a couple of wildfires in that area.
And I know that not everyone is familiar with the kind of devastating wildfires that we can have here in the West, especially on these Wide open, what are often referred to as public lands, which include mountains and deserts, and a lot of times a lot of fuel for a wildfire that if the conditions are right,
and we've seen that increasingly be the case over the course of the last few years, but that area of southeast Oregon is especially prone to those kinds of fires.
And so, anyway, on at least the occasions that we're talking about, there were two fires.
But a lot of the attention focused on one of the fires, and as one of these big wildfires was approaching the Hammond Ranch, and there's some discrepancy basically in the evidence and the versions of the story, but they started a backfire on their own ranch,
their own private property, to try to protect We're good to go.
And I don't think there's any conclusive evidence to show exactly which of those backfires actually led to the 139 acres of BLM land or forage on BLM land that was basically consumed by water.
And what a tiny, minuscule portion of the land that they claim to be owning.
And that's a constitutional issue that we'll get to.
But for those of you who have said, and we've got to take a break.

I just wanted to put a bookend on this and say, as you're looking at how rapidly this would be able to spread across the prairies, just think about the California fires that we've recently seen.

He's an attorney, rancher, and writer.
He's been at the forefront of these conflicts that have been happening between the federal government and people who are ranchers, miners, loggers throughout the West.
It's a very important issue.
There's some very important constitutional principles involved here.
There are things that are going to affect you If you live in a suburban or an urban area eventually as well.
Right now they're on the front lines of this oppression.
But I wanted to talk to him and we've been talking about the situation with the Hammonds in Oregon.
And again, this was the family that was unfairly being persecuted.
And I don't use that word lightly.
They were being persecuted by the federal government.
I wanted him to lay out the specifics of this story because you have to understand how this affects individuals first.
To get an idea of why the principles behind this are important.
Because principles always come in and affect our individual lives.

But let's get back to the Hammonds and just to pick people up, Mr.
Mr. McFarland was talking about how they'd had a history of encounters with the BLM and other government agencies who were working to manage people off of the land.
That's basically what's happening, just as they did with the Bundys.
Clive and Bundy was, I think, that had like 53 different ranchers in that area.
The other 52 were gone.
He was the last one.
And they were trying everything they could to squeeze him out bit by bit.
And if you stand up for your rights, and you say, wait a minute, I have a right to this, Because they do have property rights.
And that's what people, I think, in urban and suburban areas don't realize, is that on a piece of federal land, they claim federal jurisdiction.
We can talk about those principles here in a moment.
But let's say whether it belongs to the state or whether it belongs to the federal government or is being managed by the federal government, because I don't believe that the federal government has a legal right to own these lands, and probably Mr.
McFarland doesn't either. But let's say that it is government land.
You can have people with surface rights for grazing, for water.
You can have people that have subsurface rights, mineral rights.
They can have logging rights.
All this can be on the same piece of property.
And each of those types of rights are just as important as the property rights that you have for your suburban home.
And if they don't honor this, they won't honor that.
And as we've seen with the out-of-control forest fires in an area that I'm very familiar with back in Gatlinburg, after the government mismanaged that, and I've had the logger there when we went up to cover what had happened in Oregon, talked to a lawyer there, not a lawyer, a logger who was there, talked to a lawyer there, not a lawyer, a logger who was there, and he'd had everything that he had worked for his entire life had been destroyed because the government did not properly
My uncle was a forestry professor, and decades ago, decades ago, he talked about the new policies and how it was going to do precisely this.
And the logger knew that as well.
And we've seen that in Gatlinburg.
And they respond and say, well, you shouldn't be building anything that is anywhere even close to national property because they're not going to manage it very well.
It's going to be very dangerous for you.
Well, there's an alternative. But they won't manage it.
They have a different agenda. So let's go back to this story, Mr.
McFarland. We were up to the point where the fire had occurred.
And to protect their land, they set a small backfire.
There's a question as to whether or not it was their backfire or the one that was being set by the BLM to try to control this out-of-control fire.
But only 139 acres were burned.
Yes, so the forage on 139 acres of basically arid desert property, it was ultimately, evidence was presented that less than $1,000 worth of sagebrush, basically, was consumed in that fire.
But I think you hit the nail on the head that there was a pattern of persecution, which then resulted in a prosecution.
And they were charged with something like nine counts.
destroying federal property by arson is what it boils down to.
And so prosecutions like that, they go on for years.
They wear you down.
They cost a lot of money.
And that's basically what was going on with the Hammonds.
I think one important distinction mentioned, and I think it's absolutely true, that a lot of people don't know this story about the Hammonds.
I think it's fair to say that they were typical kind of ranchers out in the middle of nowhere that weren't particularly up to speed on social media and all of that sort of thing.
They weren't doing a great job of telling their story.
They were probably a little bit embarrassed about it.
They didn't want everybody to know what their problems were.
But the bottom line is they weren't near as good at getting the word out as, say, the Bundy family or Lavoie Finnegan, who had kind of started to embrace social media and alternative media and that sort of thing to kind of tell the story.
And so that's why the Bundys and Lavoie Finnicum went up there to help them to tell the story.
That's exactly right.
And so to make sure we don't leave too much out, they were prosecuted.
They were worn down.
And finally, they were in the middle of a two-week trial, ultimately, in Pendleton, Oregon.
And again, this came several years later after all of this persecution, including the prosecution.
And I think there's plenty of evidence that it was genuinely a malicious prosecution.
I think if you look at all of that, I think there was every bit as much prosecutorial misconduct And it took a very long time for that to come out in the Bundy case.
Exactly. That this information came to light, but we do know that there is a history of all these different organizations conducting punitive persecutions of people and rigging the trials, and I believe that's what happened with the Hammonds as well.
Right. I think there's plenty of evidence to support that, but the bottom line is they didn't have all the support that has in subsequent years kind of coalesced to help People like the Bundys and LaBoy Finnecombe and others, you know, they didn't know how to recruit and solicit that kind of help at the time.
And so I think really, well, let me just make sure I finish the story about the trial.
They ended up, after being completely worn down, during the middle of the trial, they ended up entering into a plea bargain agreement under which all of the charges except one count Of destroying federal property by arson would be the Smith.
They would plead guilty to that count.
And in exchange for their plea agreement, and this gives you some idea of just what the government was trying to do there, the government insisted on a fine, believe this or not, on a fine of $400,000.
Whoa. $400,000, a fine for destroying less than $1,000 worth of federal sagebrush.
And they also insisted that, and again, this is very telling, they insisted that the Hammonds give the federal government a right of first refusal to acquire their entire ranching operation in the event the Hammonds decided they wanted to sell it.
Because that's what they were after in the first place, was to take their ranch.
That's what we were after from the outset.
Yeah, and so either with a massive, excessive fine, and that's another key thing.
I mean, another aspect of the Constitution, when we see these excessive fines being imposed by these bureaucracies, they say, well, that's not protected under the Sixth Amendment because this is just a rule that was violated, and we're a bureaucracy and so forth, and so those protections don't apply to us.
That's exactly right.
And so... They agreed to all of those egregious terms, you know?
They were willing to take the medicine and just man up, cowboy up, we call it in the West, and deal with it and try to move on with their lives.
And they were kind of throwing themselves at the mercy of the judge, Judge Michael Hogan there in Pendleton, Oregon, when it came to sentencing in terms of the prison sentence.
And they were subject to, because this Destroying federal property by arson was subject to terrorism enhancement.
So under the... Oh, wow.
Wait a minute. We don't have...

I'm David Knight and we're talking to Todd McFarlane, the story of the Hammonds.
It was the situation that the Bundy family and LaVoy Finnegan and others went to try to help these people because of this great injustice, and he was just laying this down.
It was a period, a long period of abuse.
We're, when they stood up for their rights, the BLM got even more oppressive because they wanted to get everybody off of the land.
And as there was a massive, fast-moving prairie fire, We're good to go.
And the court came after them and said, we're going to fine you $400,000.
Now, these are people who don't have a lot of money.
They'll probably have to sell their ranch to pay for that, I guess.
But so they also said, and write a first refusal if you sell your ranch.
So we're going to put a massive fine on you.
If you can't cover that fine, that excessive fine, which under the Constitution should have been prohibited in the first place, but we're going to put a massive fine against you.
If you can't come up with the cash and you have to sell your property, we're going to take it.
And, of course, that's what they were after to start with.
But then it got worse, and we had to go to break, just as Mr.
McFarland was telling us, the next shoe to drop.
What was it, Mr. McFarland?
What happened next? Right.
So the next part of it involved incarceration.
Of course, that was going to be a question in their sentencing.
And like I mentioned, they...
They agreed to plead guilty to one count of destruction of federal property by arson, which was subject to terrorism enhancements, minimum mandatory sentencing under the federal sentencing guidelines, which Judge Michael Hogan,
when he applied that and looked at the whole situation, he'd heard all the evidence at the trial, and his position was, in light of everything else, that it was a complete Injustice to impose the sentence that would have otherwise been required under the minimum mandatory sentence.
So he sentenced Dwight Hammond, the father who was 73 years old at the time, to serve three months in prison.
Stephen Hammond, who was 40-ish at the time, to serve a year in prison.
Otherwise, they would have both been required to serve a minimum mandatory sentence of five years.
But he just found that to be completely excessive under the circumstances.
The judge. The judge did, yes.
And so, now here's the next part of the persecution.
That was the sentence that he handed down in most cases.
The federal government or whomever that was prosecuting it would just take that, whether they completely agreed with it, whether that's what they liked or not, and just roll with it, especially under the circumstances.
But that wasn't good enough for Amanda Marshall, who was the U.S. attorney in Oregon at the time.
She appealed the sentence, claiming that Judge Hogan had abused his discretion in following the federal minimum mandatory sentencing guidelines with precision And the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ended up overturning that decision and ordering them back to prison.
They served the term that they were sentenced to originally, and that's when the uproar really happened, was when Hammonds then were sentenced to return to prison to fulfill the full five-year sentence.
And that's basically the point we're at right now.
So they've been in since January, back in I should say, since January 2016.
And of course, like you've mentioned, that's why Ammon Bundy went there.
That's why LaVoy Finnegan, everyone else went there in the first place to try to show support, see what they could do to bring attention to this gross injustice that was occurring to the Hammonds And to tell people what kind of people the Hammonds were.
They're so meek that they said, you know, they said, we're going to stand here and not let them take you to prison and draw attention to this.
They said, no, we don't want to have a problem.
We'll just go to prison.
It was so sad. That's exactly right.
To have a session, a large number of people there.
It was even supported by the sheriff in that county.
He was going to be speaking and introducing them because these issues affected ranchers, miners, loggers, all these people in this area.
And that was what made them so dangerous that they killed LaVoy Finnegan.
Tell us how people can help the Hammonds now, because right now they're in the crosshairs as well.
How can people help them?
That's exactly right. And that's really, I mean, their story has been on the back burner now for the last couple of years.
Well, all these other stories, the Bundy trials, the LaVoy Finnicum assassination, all of those things kind of stole the limelight.
But now there's kind of been a little bit of a conclusion to some of those things.
And so we're back to the Hammonds trying to push their case to the front burner to see if we can't get the attention of President Trump at this point.
That's kind of the last-ditch effort.
He has the power to pardon them or to commute their sentence.
We're not even asking that he pardon them.
We're asking that he simply commute the remainder of their sentence and release them and allow them to go back home, back to the ranch, and try to pick up where they left off.
So we've got a new petition out there.
Protect the Harvest and its representatives, including Dave Duquette are actually going to be in Washington, D.C. for the State of the Union address, and they're going to be hand-delivering a petition to President Trump, along with the other supporting materials, asking him if he would please intervene here.
He has the power to do that.
And see if he can't do something to help out the Hammonds, who we believe deserve that help as much as anybody else out there.
Oh, absolutely. Let me ask you, because we talked about social media and how the word was able to get out with the Bundys, and we're happy to have been a part of that.
But let's talk about social media.
Is there something like a hashtag or something that people can push us around or things that they can share on Facebook?
Sure. And unfortunately, at this point, the Hammond case is still kind of running behind the curve when it comes to social media.
But I sent to Jennifer, your producer, this morning some links to the petition to some other information on Range Fire and Protect the Harvest, including links to those petitions.
And so anyone can go to those links and those websites.
They can sign the petition.
They can share it on Facebook and otherwise.

We've talked a lot about the specific way that these policies work their way, and these insidious policies work in individual lives.
Let's talk a little bit about the principles behind this, because you've been on the forefront of the government abuse of so-called public lands.
Let's talk a little bit about some of these principles and what's at stake here.

Yeah.
Yeah, go ahead.
I mean, what people are looking at here, and this is an issue that has been raised by the Bundys, is that it's not simply a management situation here, and it isn't something that is rightfully done by the federal government.
Again, when we look at all these different issues, not every problem should be solved or can be solved by the federal government.
Many issues are better handled at a local or a state level.
And that was one of the things that the Bundys were saying.
That would be better handled at the local level.
But there's no constitutional authority for this, is there?
Well, unfortunately, and one of my concerns, you know, the founding fathers, when they set the whole thing up originally, we were supposed to have this Ideal system of separation of powers and checks and balances.
And the states were supposed to be able to have a check on the federal government.
But as things have evolved, that check basically no longer exists in any effective way.
So the federal government and its agencies can basically just run roughshod.
And the state and local governments very rarely even attempt to stand up and push back And protect their citizens.
Certainly that was the case with the Hammonds in Harney County.
The government didn't, I mean the governor didn't care.
The local county commissioners and the county sheriff, they didn't care.
They weren't doing anything to help protect the Hammonds.
They were just basically rolling out the red carpet for the federal government to do whatever they wanted to do.
And I think If we talk about the principles, and that's one of the concerns that I always have, is it seems like so much policy in this country is dictated not by principle, but by personality.
Who are the personalities involved, you know?
I absolutely agree. Who are they connected to, you know?
