We Will Make Charlie Proud | TRIGGERED Ep.276

Time Text
Hey guys, welcome to another huge episode of Triggered.
And what a few days it's been.
I was in Arizona yesterday.
Um, I'm actually up in the woods now.
I had to get away and escape for a little bit after the crazy week that everyone's had.
But in Arizona yesterday for what was an incredibly powerful memorial service for my dear friend Charlie Kirk.
And now, again, back on the road, need a week to decompress.
This one hit me hard, pretty heavy.
But I thought it was an amazing event.
Uh and like I told you guys, I'm gonna find the time to check in when I'm traveling, whatever it may be to bring you the latest, so keep your notifications on because I may hop on at any time.
Right now, I'm on the road for like two months, so I'm just gonna keep up with the regular schedule shows.
I'm gonna try to do that as best we can, but I may be all over the place.
and so put those notifications on so you can jump on if and when I go on at a random time.
There's so much to say and reflect on when it comes to yesterday's service and really Charlie's entire life.
So we're going to play Some of the remarks from the incredible slate of speakers.
Um, I'll add some commentary, I'll give you a little insight on what it was like being behind the scenes.
Um, really a special day.
I mean, that's not really my strong suit as you'll probably hear because we'll probably play you my whole speech.
Um, because I think it was important to uh to get out there and honestly very cathartic to you know, just get all that out there, even if there was in front of like a hundred thousand people.
But yesterday really had something for everyone.
There was reflection, passion, poise, emotion from Susie Wiles to Stephen Miller, who was fire, um, Marco Ruby, though, JD, myself, Erica, and obviously my father, uh, and obviously some of the great people before that, Jack was over with Benny, you know, some of you know Charlie's dearest friends and the people closest to Turning Point.
Everyone reflected on Charlie's life in a unique and profound way.
Something that really stood out to me um as I was listening to all of that.
Um that was a long one, but uh, I was there for the whole thing.
Um, is that Charlie wasn't just talk, he was action.
Uh as JD said yesterday, he knew that America wouldn't be saved just by pulling together seminars and putting out memos.
It would be saved by being present on the ground each and every day.
Germany built an organization that reshaped the balance of our politics, certainly the youth movement.
And I would want I guess I think he would want to be honest about the evil that we face, but also to remember that for every evil and every hateful voice, there are millions of patriotic people ready to carry the torch and let his legacy live on.
So we'll get into all of those things.
We're seeing this legacy live on across the world.
In many ways, frankly, we probably could have never imagined.
Even my father and Elon sat down yesterday, uh, cordial-wise, and I saw him up in the sweep myself.
Um, that was a big deal.
Uh, even in death, Charlie was bringing people back together, uniting them for a common purpose.
So coming up, we'll play you all the sights and the sounds from yesterday, maybe the condensed versions.
I don't know if I'm sure some of you watched, but I don't know if all of you could have watched the whole thing.
Uh, and preview a few things coming up inside and outside of Washington.
So again, guys, make sure you're liking, sharing, subscribing so you never miss one of these major episodes.
I think the Thursday episode, I'm probably gonna have to do from like a remote bush camp up in the middle of nowhere in the Yukon.
Um Starlink.
It's gonna make me able to talk to you guys from camp.
So um we'll get there.

And as I said earlier, Charlie's legacy is living on.
I mean, that's pretty clear.
It's even more profound, patriotic, and powerful than we could have ever, ever imagined.
It lit a fire and sparked an energy and passion in so many young Americans, so many Americans in general, really young and old, uh, all across the world.
And every speaker yesterday had their own unique and powerful way of that message.
And as Turning Point's chief operating officer, Justin Stratus said yesterday, Charlie's last 31 years weren't just a career, guys.
They were his calling.
And he's 100% right.
Charlie stirred patriotism in us, but more deeply he stirred our hunger to live united under God.
He told us to stop and think, to use common sense to grow up and pitch in.
He asked us to hear the words that God wrote on our hearts.
This is not a message of comfort or safety or peace.
It's a message of love, a love of God's will.
Charlie's life was anchored by that love.
Every day he left his home, the comfort of it, his wife, his children to face criticism and threats and angry mobs, and ultimately death.
He loved God more than he loved safety or applause or even his own life.
That's because the last 31 years weren't his career.
They were his calling.
Charlie's legacy is this.
He showed us how to be better people.
He gave voice to truth, and he followed God's will.
Later on, Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke of Charlie's willingness and his eagerness to talk with those who disagree with him, and how his faith gave him the power and the motivation to build a movement way beyond himself.
Check out Marco Rubio.
His deep belief that we were all created, every single one of us, before the beginning of time by the hands of the God of the universe, an all-powerful God, who loved us and created us for the purpose of living with him in eternity.
But then sin entered the world and separated us from our Creator.
And so God took on the form of a man and came down and lived among us.
And he suffered like men, and he died like a man.
But on the third day he rose, unlike any mortal man.
And then to prove any doubters wrong, he ate with his disciples so they could see and they touched his wounds.
He didn't rise as a ghost or as a spirit, but his flesh.
And when he returns, because he took on that death, because he carried that cross, we were freed from the sin that separated us from him.
And when he returns, there will be a new heaven and a new earth, and we will all be together, and we are going to have a great reunion there again with Charlie and all the people we love.
Thank you and God bless you.
I also saw so much of this firsthand.
Going onto campuses with Charlie, going into very hostile territory where, as I mentioned in my speech, even the police told us they couldn't guarantee our safety.
I told some of those stories yesterday.
Check this out.
At Michigan State University, five minutes before we were supposed to go on stage, the state police told us, and I quote, we can no longer guarantee your safety.
Because the left-wing activists, they were going crazy.
It was rough.
That sounded like a great reason to pack it up and head out.
But it was one of the many times that I would agree with Charlie, who said, no way, we're going out there anyway.
Thank you.
At one of the last events of the 2024 campaign at Arizona State, some lunatic called it a threat to try to keep us from going on the stage.
Again, we went out there anyway, without fear.
Charlie led the way.
His message was clear then and his message is clear now.
We won't back down.
We won't be intimidated.
The Bible says over a hundred times in the pages of scripture, "Do not be afraid." And a hundred thousand people here today are a signal to the World.
Our message of faith.
family and country will not be silenced.
APPLAUSE Hopefully, hopefully we have the whole clip about me calling out DJ today.
I had to do a little ad lib impromptu.
I figured in a room that was uh pretty mournful, having a little bit of fun with that is in there.
So I want to try to get that clip in here as well.
Um, and at his core, Charlie was guided by his Christian faith.
And to say Charlie knew more about the Bible than me, as I said in my speech, is an understatement.
That's like saying, well, actually, let me just play the tape.
We had some fun with this one too.
To say Charlie knew more about the Bible than me is an understatement, folks.
It's like saying Donald Trump knows more about being president than Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris.
No kidding.
We don't win, guys, in 2024 without turning point.
And Charlie delivering the youth vote.
It doesn't happen.
So the work they did was so critical in every swing state.
Their work got the message out, whether through knocking on doors, through on campus events, or even through memes.
Something I may know a thing or two about, as I discussed again yesterday.
So maybe this is the good chance to play that clip.
Sorry, I had to go, had to go off script for this one.
Uh, even my father and Dana White, they're laughing about it.
So I guess it went pretty viral, so couldn't have been too much of fail.
Maybe not appropriate, but appropriate's not really my thing, but I think everyone in that room probably appreciated uh a little bit of levity.
Let me know what you think.
Who's seen me on social media knows I'm far more likely to crack a joke or get myself in trouble for hosting some grossly inappropriate memes than I am to shed a tear.
I know this because I've even gotten the call from that guy a couple times.
You know, done.
Done.
You're getting a little aggressive on social media, Don.
Relax.
Thank you.
Charlie's legacy must be that when they took his life, a million more Charlies stepped up to fill the void.
His message was clear back when I was back when I first met him, and his message is even clearer now.
We can never ever back down.
We can never surrender, and we can never lose sight of our mission.
At Arizona State, some lunatic called in a threat to try to keep us from going on the stage.
Again, we went out there anyway, without fear.
Charlie led the way.
His message was clear then, and his message is clear now.
We won't back down.
We won't be intimidated.
And one of the most important points yesterday, I think, was made by Erica Kirk, who showed so much courage.
That's not easy, guys.
It's not easy to do it.
If you didn't just lose your husband, the father of your two young kids 11 days ago.
No, it was hard no matter what.
But she showed a lot of courage, just even being able to get up there.
Because after Charlie's assassination, we didn't see violence.
We didn't see rioting.
We saw revival.
We saw people go to church.
We saw turning point chapters popping up all over the place.
And as I posted on X, that is the biggest fact-check true I've ever seen.
Most of all, God's mercy and God's love have been real revealed to me these past 10 days.
After Charlie's assassination, we didn't see violence.
We didn't see rioting.
We didn't see revolution.
Instead, we saw what my husband always prayed he would see in this country.
We saw revival.
That sort of all tells you everything you need to know, right?
Things aren't being burnt down.
We're not destroying property.
There's no looting.
We're seeing a new American revival happening right before our very eyes.
That's a big deal, guys.
That's exactly what we need.
People are finally waking up across the board.
Because as my father said, Charlie's murder was not just an attack on one man or one movement.
It was an attack on our entire nation.
I actually believe it was attack on our entire civilization.
Check out DJT on Charlie here.
Every single American should take a long hard look at the twisted soul and dark spirit of anyone who would want to kill a young man as good as Charlie to kill anybody, but to kill a man like this, he didn't deserve this.
He didn't deserve this.
Our country didn't deserve this.
And anyone who would make excuses for it are just out of their mind.
Charlie's murder was not just an attack on one man or one movement.
It was an attack on our entire nation.
That was a horrible attack on the United States of America.
It was an assault on our most sacred liberties and God given rights.
The gun was pointed at him, but the bullet was aimed at all of us.
That bullet was aimed at every one of us.
Indeed, Charlie was killed for expressing the very ideas that virtually everyone in this arena and most other places throughout our country deeply believed in.
But the assassin failed in his quest because Charlie's message has not been silenced.
now is bigger and better and stronger than ever before and it's not even close this isn't just about singing kumbaya it's about understanding the moment that we're in and understanding what exactly we are up against because i think we've lost sight of that That's why probably got in trouble.
Probably by some people.
I guess some people understood it, but when I said, you know, watch the video of Charlie getting shot.
I can't do that.
It's terrible.
It's like, no, no, no.
You have to.
And it is brutal and it is gruesome.
But you have to understand exactly what we are up against.
Because it is not the same as you and I in a disagreement.
It's sick.
It's deranged, and it's evil.
And actually standing up for this country and the values that make this nation so great.
That's a big deal.
Stephen Miller did not hold back.
He was fire.
Sending a message to the extreme left that they have no idea the dragons they have awakened.
Check this out.
Hello, turning point.
Hello, Patriots.
Hello to our fearless president Donald J. Trump.
And hello to millions of Americans all across this land who are gathered in sadness and sorrow to mourn Charlie Kirk, but also to dedicate ourselves to finishing his mission and achieving victory in his name.
Thank you.
The day that Charlie died.
But those tears have been turned into fire in our hearts.
And that fire burns with a righteous fury that our enemies cannot comprehend or understand.
When I see Erica and her strength and her courage, I am reminded of a famous expression.
The storm whispers to the warrior, the storm whispers to the warrior, that you cannot withstand my strength.
And the warrior whispers back, I am the storm.
Erica is the storm.
We are the storm.
And our enemies cannot comprehend our strength, our determination, our resolve, our passion.
Our lineage and our legacy hails back to Athens, to Rome, to Philadelphia, to Monticello.
Our ancestors built the cities.
They produced the art and architecture.
They built the industry.
Erica stands on the shoulders of thousands of years of warriors, of women who raised up families, raised up cities, raised up industry, raised up civilization, who pulled us out of the caves and the darkness into the light.
The light will defeat the dark.
We will prevail over the forces of wickedness and evil.
They cannot imagine what they have awakened.
They cannot conceive of the army that they have arisen in all of us.
Because we stand for what is good, what is virtuous, what is noble.
And to those trying to incite violence against us, those trying to foment hatred against us, what do you have?
You have nothing.
You are nothing.
You are wickedness, you are jealousy, you are envy, you are hatred.
You are nothing.
You can build nothing, you can produce nothing.
You can create nothing.
We are the ones who build.
We are the ones who create.
We are the ones who lift up humanity.
You thought you could kill Charlie Kirk?
You have made him immortal.
You have immortalized Charlie Kirk.
And now millions will carry on his legacy.
And we will devote the rest of our lives to finishing the causes for which Charlie gave his last measure of devotion.
You cannot defeat us, you cannot slow us, you cannot stop us, you cannot deter us.
We will carry Charlie and Erica in our heart every single day and fight that much harder because of what you did to us.
You have no idea, the dragon you have awakened.
You have no idea how determined we will be to save this civilization, to save the West, to save this republic.
Because our children are strong, and our grandchildren will be strong, and our children's children's children will be strong.
And what will you leave behind?
Nothing, nothing.
To our enemies, you have nothing to give, you have nothing to offer, you have nothing to share but bitterness.
We have beauty, we have light, we have goodness, we have determination, we have vision, we have strength.
We built the world that we inhabit now, generation by generation, and we will defend this world.
We will defend goodness, we will defend light, we will defend virtue.
You cannot terrify us, you cannot frighten us, you cannot threaten us, because we are on the side of goodness, we are on the side of God.
And to my friend Charlie, to my brother Charlie, I know you are looking at us right now.
I know you're watching Erica right now.
I know you're watching your children right now.
And I promise you, my friend, I promise you, my brother.
We will prove worthy of your sacrifice.
We will prove worthy of your time on earth.
We will make you proud.
We will finish the job.
We will defeat the forces of darkness and evil, and we will stand every day for what is true, what is beautiful, what is good, and we will achieve for our children, for our families, for our civilization, and for every patriot who stands with us.
God bless you.
God bless Turning Point.
God bless Erica.
God bless the Kirk family.
God bless our heroes.
And God bless the United States of America.
Thank you.
I don't want to hear any BS about both sides.
It's not both sides, guys.
It's one side.
One side wants to save America and the other side wants to apologize for America.
One side wants to burn down your street.
Our side wants to rebuild it.
That's a fundamental difference, guys.
We got to make sure we understand that.
One side wants to have a debate and dialogue.
The other side wants to shut it down with threats of violence.
As JD closed out his remarks yesterday, may our Heavenly Father give us the courage to live as Charlie lived.
That is what we must do for Charlie.
You ran a good race, my friend.
We've got it from here.
So guys, we've got it from here.
But that doesn't happen by sitting on your butts.
We have to act.
We have to be out there.
We have to stay engaged.
We have to understand what's at stake.
And we must never, ever, ever give up.
So guys, thanks so much for joining us.
Uh it's really all of you who are the engine behind all of this and this movement.
It's all of you who make the mission possible.
So guys, keep sharing.
Keep getting this message out.
Like, share, subscribe.
Do it right now.
It takes two seconds.
Let's get more and more motivated to continue Charlie's incredible work.
Support our great sponsors who are in this fight with us.
Support those who support you.
Um I have just I hope you all just have a great rest of the day and the week.
I'll talk to you on Thursday, I think.
Like I said, I'm gonna be uh in hunting camp.
I needed to get a little get away and get a little bit of a break.
So I'm gonna be in hunting camp, so hopefully the Starlink's working.
I'll get up there.
Uh we'll talk then.
But I really appreciate you guys and all that you do.
Uh I hope you have a great evening.
