Hard Left Turn: Dems vs Reality, Plus Interview with Nate Morris | TRIGGERED Ep.253

Text
Hegseth had an incredible press conference this morning on the recent strike against Iran, and he put the fake news to shame.
Plus, New York Democrats are going all in on communism for their mayoral nominee.
We'll give you the breakdown of where the city goes from here because now this lunatic says he also wants to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu in addition to all of his other insane views.
And later, Kentucky entrepreneur Nate Morris will stop by to talk about all the top stories and perhaps a political announcement.

Sponsors like All Family Pharmacy.
After everything we saw during COVID and the cover-up, saying we have trust issues with the so-called experts is probably an understatement, guys.
They used pressure, lies, red tape to block access to medications that were once easy to get.
That can't happen again.
And with all-family pharmacy, it won't.
All family pharmacy is redefining healthcare.
No waiting rooms, no delays, no insurance games, just direct access to over 200 trusted medications, including ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, antibiotics, emergency kits, and so much more.

And guys, with that, let's get into all of the top headlines.
And we begin in my former home of New York, where I used to joke, it's the People's Republic of New York.
That's why I moved to Florida four or five years ago.
Now, that seems to be coming even more true than ever before, where by now, I'm sure you've heard the news that New York Democrats this week voted for Zoran Mandani to be their nominee for mayor.
Now, this guy isn't just another radical Democrat.
He's a full-blown communist.
He's a true believer in that crap.
Every extreme position Democrats hold, he's adopted and ramped up to a level a thousand times worse.
And according to the voting data, he actually performed best with the higher income precincts across the city.
For example, Andrew Cuomo beat him in places like the Bronx, while Mandani dominated in place like the West Village and in Williamsburg, you know, where all the hipsters live.
Among lower income precincts, Cuomo won by 13 points.
Among higher income precincts, Mandani won by 13 points.
Check this out.
It is election day.
I'm on my way to vote.
I don't know that I have ever been more excited to vote for anyone than I am to vote for Soran Mandani.
I've got my buttons.
I've got my don't rank Cuomo t-shirt, but I haven't hidden because I'm going to a polling site.
Joran one, Brad two, Adrian three, Stringer four, Michael Blake five.
And whatever you do, don't rank Cuomo.
Vote for Jumani, vote for Justin Brannon.
We have a chance to make sure that our corrupt, sexual harassing, Trump donor supported, disgraced former governor is not elected mayor of New York.
And we have a chance.
Oh, we're within the polling site now.
We have a chance to elect Duran to have fast-free buses, to have rent-stabilized apartments with the rent frozen.
We have subsidized grocery stores, and we have free child care from ages six months to five years.
We have a guy who stands up to Trump, and we will have a guy who creates a city for all of us.
Make sure you vote today and don't rank Hormon.
It's wild to me, guys.
It's really, it's insane.
The richest demographics in New York are voting for someone who's going to destroy the city.
As a Florida resident, I'm worried we're going to get all the garbage that New York gets rid of.
They're going to end up down here.
This is a problem.
Now, Mondani's going to face incumbent Mayor Eric Adams, who's running as an independent, as well as Republican Curtis Silva.
And as Mayor Adams explained this week, many of Zoran's proposals aren't even within the mayor's purview.
Check this out.
But you're right.
The extreme arm of the party did go too far.
I say it all the time.
I didn't leave the party.
The party left me.
The party left working class people.
When they were starting to call in the President Hitler and other fascists, I said, that's not what working class people are concerned about.
We need to talk about affordability, housing, public safety, these bread and butter issues.
It has gone too far left, an arm of the party.
And far too many working class people, I say, saying, start talking about my issues.
This communist is a 33-year-old guy.
It doesn't seem like he's ever actually had a real job, but he's got a bunch of affluent white champagne socialists in his corner who either don't understand what they're actually voting for or they don't actually care.
Perhaps they don't mind if the city goes to hell as long as they get to virtue signaling that, you know, they're super woke, guys.
Because ironically, Democrats in New York say they care about lowering costs and improving the quality of life.
But they voted for someone who will not only exacerbate the problems Democrats have created for themselves in blue cities and states like New York City, New York State, California, and others.
Now, for Nandani's own ex-account on what he actually believes, he wrote back in 2020, quote, end cash bail, repeal the trans while walking ban, decriminalize sex work, permit safe injection sites, I assume for heroin, restrict solitary confinement, end cooperation with ICE, and repeal sentencing enhancements.
Oh, by the way, he also wants to arrest Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu when he visits New York.
And get this, he also wants hate crime prevention programs, which of course is just another word for censorship and political prosecution.
Check this out.
And I know that Jewish New Yorkers, like Jewish Americans, are fearful in this moment of anti-Semitism.
They're fearful, especially after the horrific attacks that we saw in Washington, D.C. and in Boulder, Colorado.
And they're fearful also in conversations that I have heard myself about life in this city.
I spoke to a Jewish man in Williamsburg not too many weeks ago who told me about the fact that he now locks the door that he used to close, that he used to keep open for years because of a fear of who may come in.
I spoke to a friend of mine after October 7th who told me about going to his synagogue for Shabbat services and hearing the door open behind him and turning around with a tremor going up his back, not knowing who was walking in and what they wished for them.
And ultimately, it's through the conversations I've had with Jewish New Yorkers that I have developed a proposal for the Department of Community Safety that would include an 800% increase in funding for hate crime prevention programs.
Because ultimately, we cannot simply say that anti-Semitism has no home in this city or no place in this country.
We have to do more than talk about it.
We have to tackle it.
And that's what we will do through this funding and through this commitment.
We will root out bigotry across the five boroughs.
This is what Democrats voted for.
This is apparently what they want for their cities.
This lunatic has also defended globalizing the intifada.
I mean, think about it.
In a city that's very Jewish, he wants to globalize the intifada.
I don't get it.
And yet they keep voting for their own demise.
He wants city-run grocery stores, you know, because socialism and communism and state-run agencies like that have worked out so well.
Imagine your local Publix or whatever shopping center you go to ran like a New York City DMV.
I'm sure it'll be awesome, folks.
And they argued that, quote, queer liberation means defund the police.
That's a quote from him.
I don't even know what that means.
What does that mean?
Queer liberation means defund the police?
I mean, this is not, you know, this guy's insane and clearly not very smart, but it doesn't matter.
People still buy into this stuff.
Believe it or not, some Democrats are finding a way to take it a step further.
For example, disgraced former New York Congressman Jamal Bowman says that the reason that black communities are struggling with things like heart disease and obesity is from being, and I quote, being called the N-word.
I'm not making this up.
I'm not sure what any of that has to do with obesity, but here he is in his own words.
And the problem is we are not dealing with America's original sin and its disease of hate and racism towards black and brown people and sexism towards women and anti-LGBTQ sentiment.
We are not dealing with that.
Your colleagues in the Republican Party do not hold each other accountable when it comes to the racism that comes from the party on a consistent basis.
Congressman, I mean, where are you on?
You can't be calm about this.
I'm a black man in America.
The reason why heart disease...
I'm white.
The reason why heart disease and cancer and obesity and diabetes are bigger in the black community is because of the stress we carry from having to deal with being called the N-word directly or indirectly every day.
If your colleagues would listen and try to learn and engage and grow and stop being so hateful, we could have a better country.
Jamal.
But unfortunately, we're still here.
Jamal Hates comes from one side.
Jamal, I feel your passion, and I understand where you're coming from sincerely.
I really, really do.
It happens on both sides, Jamal.
You might think it happens more on your side.
Jamal, when I leave the show, when I leave the show, Jamal, you should see my Twitter feed.
And they're acquitted.
Rodney King, Abner Luima, Eric Gardner, Trayvon Martin, black cops in Memphis.
It's not the same.
And I don't want to qualify or quantify pain.
That's not what I'm talking about.
Everyone goes through pain.
But the racism in this country is the disease that will destroy us.
And it's destroying us right now as we speak.
January 6th, everybody was pardoned.
Everybody's pardoned.
Riots in L.A., they're insurrectionists.
But we pardoned everyone January 6th.
This is America.
This is actually happening.
What's worse is in watching all of this lunacy, especially in New York, you know, Chucky Schumer, AOC, you know, these guys that are supposed to be the reasonable people there, and they're not saying anything.
This communist unseated Andrew Cuomo, who was pretty damn left?
He was a dictator during COVID.
He caused thousands of people to lose their lives.
And they're actually faking someone that is worse than Andrew Cuomo.
It's hard to believe.
But, guys, the left-wing lunacy does not stop there because there's now a left-wing group called the 4 AM Club, which claims that Kamala actually won the election in November.
And we're living in an alternate timeline.
But they don't exactly worry that their psychic energy will bring us back to reality anytime soon.
That ain't happening.
Again, I'm not making it up.
You can see it for yourself.
Left-wing version of QAnon is here, and they believe that Kamala Harris really won the election.
This group is called the 4 a.m.
Club.
Basically on November 6th, thousands of people were woken up around 4 a.m.
And those people were called to anchor in the higher timeline where Kamala was the winner.
The call was sent out and we received it.
It was founded by this woman who goes by Gia Prism on TikTok.
I am a psychic medium.
I'm a healer.
She sort of gives downloads, as she calls them, from spirit.
This contest wasn't right.
We will yet get a different result in the end.
I was shown him falling from something to do with blood on the brain.
Okay, I'm seeing lower level leaders will be removed before the top ones.
It bears a striking resemblance to QAnon, except everything has been feminized.
Instead of searching through Reddit boards and 8chan to find what they're looking for, they go deep within themselves, trusting their feminine intuition, their gut, the divine goddess.
The 4am clubbers, I don't think, are going to be scaling the Capitol anytime soon, but I do think they represent the next chapter in the story of political conspiracies.
It shows that the American population feels both completely out of control and lied to.
I know, I always say it, but these people are freaking nuts.
The left is just going further left.
They're not learning from the lessons of the last election and that Americans just want to be left alone.
They want to live their lives.
They want to have some prosperity.
They don't want to fund endless wars.
They don't want to fund transgender surgeries for minors without parental consent.
They don't want men playing in women's sports.
Everyone knows that.
That's where the base of America is, not the Republican Party, the base of America.
And yet the left continues to poo-poo that and just go further and further towards insanity.
And meanwhile, this morning, Defense Secretary Pete Hegsteth and General Dan Raisin Kane held a presser to combat the misleading and illegal leaks about the recent Iran strike.
And let's just say, Hegseth didn't hold back on dismantling yet another fake news narrative.
There are so many aspects of what our brave men and women did that because of the hatred of this press corps are undermined because people are trying to leak and spin that it wasn't successful.
It's irresponsible.
And folks in this room are privy to that information because of the proximity here in the Pentagon.
It's an important responsibility.
And time and time again, classified information is leaked or peddled for political purposes to try to make the president look bad.
And what's really happening is you're undermining the success of incredible B-2 pilots and incredible F-35 pilots and incredible refuelers and incredible air defenders who accomplished their mission, set back a nuclear program in ways that other presidents would have dreamed.
How about we celebrate that?
How about we talk about how special America is, that only we have these capabilities?
I think it's too much to ask, unfortunately, for the fake news.
So we're used to that.
But we also have an opportunity to stand at the podium and read the truth of what's really happening.
And the reality is you want to call it destroyed, you want to call it defeated, you want to call it obliterated, choose your word.
This was an historically successful attack, and we should celebrate it as Americans.
And it gives us a chance to have peace, chance to have a deal, and an opportunity to prevent a nuclear Iran, which is something President Trump talked about for 20 years, and no other presidents had the courage to actually do.
And moments later, General Dan Raisincane laid out in precise detail just how successful this mission really was, and it was powerful.
Let me talk about the graphic a little bit.
And the GBU-57, which all of you I know know is a 30,000-pound weapon dropped only by the B-2.
It's comprised of steel, explosive, and a fuse.
Programmed bespokely, uses effectively what tells the bomb when to function.
A longer delay in a fuse, the deeper the weapon will penetrate and drive into the target.
So on Ford, in June of 2008, you can see these three holes.
Depicted here is the main exhaust shaft with two additional ventilation shafts on either side.
The United States decided to strike these two ventilation shafts seen here on the main graphic as the primary point of entry into the mission space.
In the days preceding the attack against Fordeau, the Iranians attempted to cover the shafts with concrete to try to prevent an attack.
I won't share the specific dimensions of the concrete cap, but you should know that we know what the dimensions of those concrete caps were.
The planners had to account for this.
They accounted for everything.
The cap was forcibly removed by the first weapon, and the main shaft was uncovered.
Weapons two, three, four, five were tasked to enter the main shaft, move down into the complex at greater than 1,000 feet per second, and explode in the mission space.
Weapon number six was designed on each side, so there were six on each side.
Weapons number six was designed as a flex weapon to allow us to cover if one of the preceding Jets or one of the preceding weapons did not work.
If you actually want to know the fullback story, and I didn't know any of this, this goes back 15 years where they realized what was going on.
You got to watch General Kane explain the full thing in detail, just how precise this mission is, just how long they were looking at this site, just how they literally created munitions to be able to target this site in specific.
It's actually incredible, and it's actually a seriously good feel-good story.
Let me next move to a walkthrough of the GBU-57 massive ordnance penetrator weapon and share a little bit about the planners who did this and their work on the weapon.
First, let me set the stage for you.
There's an organization in the U.S. called the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, DITRA.
DITRA does a lot of things for our nation, but DITRA is the world's leading expert on deeply buried underground targets.
In 2009, a Defense Threat Reduction Agency officer was brought into a vault at an undisclosed location and briefed on something going on in Iran.
For security purposes, I'm not going to share his name.
He was shown some photos and some highly classified intelligence of what looked like a major construction project in the mountains of Iran.
He was tasked to study this facility, work with the intelligence community to understand it, and he was soon joined by an additional teammate.
For more than 15 years, this officer and his teammate lived and breathed this single target, Ford, a critical element of Iran's covert nuclear weapons program.
He studied the geology.
He watched the Iranians dig it out.
He watched the construction, the weather, the discard material, the geology, the construction materials, where the materials came from.
He looked at the vent shaft, the exhaust shaft, the electrical systems, the environmental control systems, every nook, every crater, every piece of equipment going in and every piece of equipment going out.
They literally dreamed about this target at night when they slept.
They thought about it driving back and forth to work, and they knew from the very first days what this was for.
You do not build a multi-layered underground bunker complex with centrifuges and other equipment in a mountain for any peaceful purpose.
They weren't able to discuss this with their family, their wives, their kids, their friends, but they just kept grinding it out.
And along the way, they realized we did not have a weapon that could adequately strike and kill this target.
So they began a journey to work with industry and other tacticians to develop the GBU-57.
They tested it over and over again, tried different options, tried more after that.
They accomplished hundreds of test shots and dropped many full-scale weapons against extremely realistic targets for a single purpose, kill this target at the time and place of our nation's choosing.
And then, on a day in June of 2025, more than 15 years after they started their life's work, the phone rang and the President of the United States ordered the B-2 force that you've supported to go strike and kill this target.
Yesterday, I had the incredible honor and privilege of spending time with these two Defense Threat Reduction Agency officers who've given so much.
One of them said, quote, I can't even get my head around this.
My heart is so filled with the pride of being a part of this team.
I am so honored to be a part of this.
To you both, thank you and thank you to your families.
Operation Midnight Hammer was the culmination of those 15 years of incredible work.
The air crews, the tanker crews, the weapons crews that built the weapons, the load crews that loaded it.
These illegal leaks were meant to mislead the public.
We've seen it time and time again.
It's the same Russia, Russia, Russia playbook.
But the good news is, I think the public finally sees the right through it.
The same reporter, Natasha Bernstead, is the person who pushed the Hunter Biden laptop is Russian disinformation.
She's the one that broke this story about it not being a successful strike.
So you know exactly where she stands.
You know who she works for and you know what their motive is.
And it's not for the good of the American people, folks.
Because my father's national security agenda is working and both our allies and our adversaries are taking notice.
For example, NATO's allies are finally stepping up and doing what Trump says they need to do, which is to pay their fair share.
In fact, the NATO Secretary General apparently referred to my father as daddy the other day when he was asked about it in a press conference.
Here's how he responded.
Go ahead, give my mic.
Hello.
Deborah Haynes from Sky News.
Mark Ritter, the NATO chief who is your friend, he called you Daddy earlier.
Do you regard your NATO allies as kind of children?
No, he likes me.
I think he likes me.
If he doesn't, I'll let you know.
I'll come back and I'll hit him hard, okay?
He did it very affectionately.
Daddy, you're my daddy.
Do you regard your NATO allies, though, as kind of like children in the...
Sometimes you have to let people fight a little bit.
As a father of boys, you know, they got a lot of fight a little bit.
Someone gets an age, and then daddy has to step in with some strong words, perhaps some strong actions, and take care of business.
At least the world is recognizing who's their daddy.
And later, the White House put out this video to the tune of Usher's song, Hey Daddy.
I thought this was a great troll.
Watch and enjoy.
I just want to get your attention.
You wanna be all up in your head Yeah So hey, isn't you say daddy's home Home for me And I know you've been waiting for this love in all day You know your daddy's home And it's time to
say, yeah But you ain't got to give my love away So hey, hey, hey So what you say Hey, hey, hey I ain't got to do a lot of flexing
Shawty, you already know what it is So what you say Hey, hey, hey Call me daddy, babe You better know what you like Hey, hey, hey So what you say you you And on that note, guys, we'll wrap up the news and get to Nate Morris.
But first, remember to support our great sponsors, okay?
These guys took a lot of risks supporting this programming.
Support the people who allow us to have these kinds of conversations, who allow us to get that news out there.
Make sure we do that.
Guys, we're going to be talking about making America healthy again.

Joining me now, CEO of Morris Industries, Nate Morris.
Good to have you back on the show, buddy.
It's great to be with you, Don.
Thanks for having me.
Well, first and foremost, I hear you have a little bit of an announcement that we're going to break here tonight.
Absolutely.
Well, Don, after careful reflection and prayer, talking to my wife, Jane, I've decided to run for the United States Senate to replace Mitch McConnell here in Kentucky and finally bring this seat back to the people.
You know, as I started having these conversations about the United States Senate seat here in Kentucky, everybody said, Don, that this is McConnell's seat, that it belongs to him.
And that seat belongs to the people of Kentucky.
And I am proud that I'm a ninth generation Kentuckian.
I was raised by a single mother.
When I came into the world, my mother was on food stamps.
And we've been fighting and scrapping for everything we have, like most Kentuckians.
19 of my family members worked in an auto plant.
And I've been able to live the American dream because of how great this country is.
And as you know, Don, I made money in garbage.
There's nothing more American than making money with trash.
And I think we've had a lot of it build up in Washington, D.C. And I think it's time to take out the trash in Washington, D.C. and bring something new.
Somebody from the outside, somebody that's not a career politician, and most importantly, someone that's only beholden to the people, not to McConnell cronies and the people that have been occupying this seat through McConnell Inc.
over the last 40 years.
So I'm so proud to stand with your father and make this announcement today.
Well, listen, that seems like a great reason to run.
How is it that a place like Kentucky, and I've spent a lot of time there, I'm a Duke of Hazard.
I'm a Kentucky colonel.
I'm all of those things.
Former Governor Matt Bevin made me that.
So, you know, I've spent a lot of time in the area.
I know a lot of the people, about as MAGA as it gets.
How is it that a guy like Mitch McConnell could actually hold on to that seat for so long?
How are they able to maintain that power?
And how do we break it so that the representatives of Kentucky actually represent the sentiment of the people of the constituency and not that of the swamp?
Well, Don, Mitch McConnell has been obsessed with two things in his career, money and power.
And prior to coming on the national stage, the number one issue that Mitch McConnell cared about was getting more money in politics for his own preservation and his own survival.
And we have a chance now through what we've seen, the success with your father, being an outsider, being a business guy, also the vice president J.D. Vance.
And we need people that don't owe anything to the swamp.
And we need people that have had real jobs before, that have met payrolls and that have had to fight in business and actually understand the challenges of everyday Kentuckians and everyday Americans.
But Mitch McConnell has made it his life goal to gain as much power and as much money as he can.
And that's how he's been able to remain in power because all the lobbyists, all the operatives, all the cronies for years, they have depended on Mitch McConnell to make their living.
And now we have a chance, Don, to have a clean break, get it right, and really take this back to the people of Kentucky where it belongs.
So Nate, what are the issues that you care about most?
And I assume that's aligned with the people of Kentucky.
Well, I think first and foremost, Don, under Joe Biden, our country was invaded.
We saw 20 million illegals come into this country, and we have not been able to control our border since Mitch McConnell has been in power.
Mitch McConnell has voted for amnesty over and over and over again.
And just recently, Don, I called for a moratorium on all new immigration until we deport every single one of these illegal immigrants that have invaded our country.
And what that means, Don, is there's no carve outs.
There's no special exceptions, no special consideration for DACA or other measures that the left tries to insert into our politics.
We have got to get all these illegals to go back where they came from so the American worker and the American families can be Protected.
Because look, Don, we know if you don't have a border, you don't have a country, but also you don't have an economy if you don't have a border.
And I think Mitch McConnell, it's shameful that he's continued to allow these poorest borders to happen under his leadership over the last 40 years he's been in office.
So, what do you think Mitch McConnell's legacy is at this point?
I mean, it certainly has changed over time.
And as of late, it's just been, I guess, you might as well be a Democrat.
But what do you think that is right now?
Well, everyone has an expiration, Don.
They have an expiration date just like the things you find at the grocery store anywhere else.
And Mitch McConnell has hung around way too long.
And I think your father put it best, the stench of Mitch has been, it has been something that you cannot ignore.
And I think that if he'd left office years ago, I think history would have been a lot more favorable to him.
But unfortunately, he's going to be known in Kentucky and around the United States for sabotaging your father's agenda and the Trump agenda and the MAGA agenda from voting against his picks for the cabinet to doing everything that he can to put a thorn in your father's side.
And look, what I'm very excited about is your father is undefeated when it comes to defeating political bosses.
You know, he beat the Clintons.
He beat the Bushes.
He beat the Bidens.
James Comey has certainly gone away.
And I look at Mitch McConnell as the final boss for your father to defeat.
And I think he's going to do it right here in Kentucky and elect an America first candidate to carry on his legacy in the bluegrass state.
So maybe talk about that.
Some of the other contenders for this Senate seat, obviously it's a Senate seat, so it's going to be a big deal.
They're going to put a lot of money into this thing.
Talk about some of the other candidates in there.
Are they tied to Mitch McConnell?
And how so?
Will they just be an extension of Mitch Inc.
going into the future?
Absolutely.
And one of the deciding factors for me, Don, is someone from the outside and someone who's a business leader.
I couldn't sit back and watch Mitch McConnell's cronies take this seat.
You have someone like Daniel Cameron, who completely botched the governor's race two years ago, had your father's endorsement, squandered it.
He's a McConnell scholar at the University of Louisville.
Mitch McConnell made him who he is today.
And he famously said that Mitch McConnell changed the trajectory of his life.
And this is a guy who owes everything to Mitch.
He was his general counsel.
Mitch McConnell's chief of staff ran his campaign for attorney general and the governor's race.
And again, he's going to be a rubber stamp for McConnell Link if he were to get in there.
I think Andy Barr is another great example.
I mean, he recently said on the live TV that Mitch McConnell is his mentor.
Of course, your name continues to get floated around as a person on a long list of candidates to run first to succeed Mitch McConnell in the U.S. Senate whenever that time does come.
Have you considered at all looking at a vacancy?
Should it open in the U.S. Senate?
I liked what my mentor, Leader Mitch McConnell, said when he announced that he was not going to seek another term as leader of the Republicans in the Senate.
He said, I think that my adversaries will be disappointed that I still have gas in my tank.
And I've thanked Leader McConnell for his service.
And as long as he wants to remain in the Senate, I'm with him because his legacy is big.
And so I don't presume anything.
And he plays the long game.
And he has a legacy as big as Kentucky and beyond.
And he was going to wait and see what McConnell did.
And that was going to determine what he decided to do if he was going to get in the race.
And John, you may remember we were the first to call for Mitch McConnell to resign and retire from office very early on and say, look, Mitch, you've got to go.
Your time is up.
And I'm very proud that we were calling for his retirement before anyone else.
And the other two guys were sitting around waiting to see what was going to happen, what he was going to do to make their decision.
And I think you've got somebody in Andy Barr who is in favor of birthright citizenship.
He's been in favor of gun control.
He said that January 6th, that your father was to blame for January 6th.
And I think that this is something that's very alarming to most people.
And look, I think we also have to think that after your father's term concludes, this Senate seat is going to go on for a very, very long time.
And Andy Barr is the kind of guy that after your father leaves office, you know, he's going to return to being that establishment moderate squish that continues to go along to get along in the swamp.
And that's not what we need.
And both of these guys, Don, are lawyers.
We don't need more lawyers in politics.
And we need people who don't need the job, people that have met payrolls, people that have come from the outside.
And I think that's what we can bring a new and fresh perspective and something that's a complete contrast to both of these guys.
You know, it's just, you know, for the people of Kentucky, you know, you mentioned some of the politics and being, you know, beholden to some of your forebearers there.
But, you know, what are the other things that make you different than the other guys in this race, Nate?
You know, look, Don, I think I have a true Kentucky story, like most Kentuckians, raised by a single mom.
I'm a ninth generation Kentuckian.
My family descends from Morgan County.
It's the county next to Brett where JD's from.
Yeah, you actually have a very similar sort of life story to J.D. Vance.
You know, if you look at it, I sort of like having that kind of representation, people who've actually been through some real life.
You're exactly right.
And, you know, JD and I became very fast friends because of that commonality in our background.
We've both been fighting most of our life.
And this country gave us everything, Don, and the ability to live the American dream.
And I started a company with $10,000 on a credit card, took it public at $2 billion on the New York Stock Exchange.
And only in America can something like that happen.
But through my public education, most of my families worked in an auto plant, 19 of them.
My grandfather ran a local union who helped raise me.
And these are the kind of experiences that I think most Kentuckians have.
They're fighting.
They want to get opportunity.
And unfortunately, career politicians and the people that have occupied the swamp for a very long time, they've sold us out, Don.
The elites have sold us out, whether it be sending their jobs to Mexico or to China and hurting families like mine that are dependent on manufacturing jobs to make their living.
And those are the people that I want to go to Washington and fight for their interests and fight for the average Kentuckian that's trying to make it.
Yeah, you mentioned sort of the business side of things.
Tell us a little bit more about that background in business, because I think it's so fundamentally critical to have people in positions of power who are deciding trillion-dollar decisions who actually have signed the front of a paycheck, not just the back, who have actually had people's lives and livelihoods dependent on their success and showing up and getting it done every day.
It seems like something the politicians sort of take for granted, but they've never actually done it in the real world until they have the power of the pen in politics, but not in real life.
Yeah, that's exactly right, Don.
I mean, you look at both of these guys that are in the race now, Andy Barr and Daniel Cameron, they've never had a job outside of politics.
They need this job.
They need to get promoted to the United States Senate because they don't have any other options.
I'm here because I want to serve.
I don't need the money.
I don't need the job.
My wife and I have made the decision that we want to serve.
We want to fight.
We want to give something back to Kentuckians that are like us, that are fighting every day to live the American dream.
And look, as an entrepreneur, you get hit every which way, whether it be from the SEC, whether it be from big government, more taxes, all the things that can go wrong when you're building a business.
And guess what?
When you got to make payroll on Friday and sign those paychecks, sometimes it's very, very difficult.
And you got to fight every day to make sure that your employees have got health care, they've got the things that they need for their families.
And I don't think there's anything better that you can do for somebody than to give them a job and give them opportunity.
And I've lived that firsthand.
I've created thousands of jobs in my career.
And again, in a very, very tough industry.
I know, Don, you're a fan of the Sopranos.
You know, the trash business is probably the roughest business in the world, occupied by the roughest people.
And we were known as the disruptor in the Tony Soprano industry.
And I think that's the kind of toughness we need in Washington, D.C. to go and shake it up and stand with MAGA and stand with your father to get his agenda done.
Now, you've said that basically the future of Western civilization is online regarding the fight over the border and mass deportations.
What did you mean by that?
Look, America is the final hold, if you will, for Western civilization.
We lose America.
We lose the West.
Europe's gone.
We know their borders have been completely porous.
They've been invaded.
I think JD famously said that the United Kingdom is going to be an Islamic state in the next decade.
All that's coming here, Don.
And we've lost our border, and we've lost the ability to protect Western civilization when you don't have a border.
So it is America's responsibility, I believe, for our sovereignty, our people, for Western theology, Western civilization.
We're going to lose it if we don't keep our border and we don't do everything we can to deport these 20 million illegals that have invaded our country.
We've got to stand strong because now is when it counts the most.
And for the last 40 years, when Mitch McConnell's been in power, he could have fixed it.
He could have done more.
He could have said, we need to study this issue.
We need to get involved.
We need to get aggressive, whatever it takes.
Because if we lose our border, Don, we lose our country.
We know this.
Hey, what do you think about what we've seen with lawfare and judges blocking the Trump agenda?
What would your solution for that be if you were in the United States Senate?
Look, I think it's really simple.
If you're a judge in our country, you got to follow the Constitution.
You're not elected politically.
You're not a political figure.
You don't interpret the law to satisfy a political agenda.
And if you do, we are going to defund you.
And if you don't get the message after that, we are going to impeach you.
And that is the only solution.
Our judges are not there to carry out a political agenda.
They're not there to carry political water and score points for politicians.
And just because they don't like an administration, like we're seeing with your father, which is so unfortunate, that we've got a lot of these judges.
And by the way, a lot of these are the ones that Mitch McConnell takes credit for, these Rhino judges that have slipped through the cracks that are trying to hold the MAGA agenda hostage.
And if they don't get the message, they need to be defunded.
And if that doesn't work, they're going to have to be impeached.
Yeah, not only is he not helpful on the Senate side of things, but he seems to be encouraging this kind of behavior, not going with, again, what I would imagine the vast majority of Kentuckians are all in favor of these kinds of things and the MAGA policy.
And I can only tell that because we've won the states with some of the biggest margins of any state in America.
That's exactly right.
And look, I think one of the things that's so challenging is that, you know, Mitch McConnell likes to take a lot of credit for the courts.
He likes to say he's responsible for the Supreme Court.
We know that it's your father that created the Supreme Court that's ushered in a wave of conservatism for a generation.
But some of these judges that he's hand-selected are the ones that are giving us so much problem.
And we need to look very, very closely.
And again, if they don't get the message, they got to go and they got to get defunded.
Nate, where do you stand on RFK Jr. and the Maha agenda, the Make America Healthy Again agenda?
What does that mean for Kentucky?
Look, I think it starts with clean water, clean air.
We've got to protect our people.
And I think RFK has been a breath of fresh air.
He's been a disruptor.
He's changed the conversation.
He's been very, very provocative.
But I think for working and average families, I think he speaks to them to say, I'm going to stop ingesting all these toxins, all this bad stuff.
We saw another example of this in East Palestine when your father went out there that were the forgotten Americans just because of maybe the way they looked or the location that they were in our country, That they didn't get the protection they need.
And I see a lot of these challenges in East Kentucky.
We got to get them clean water.
We got to get them access to clean air.
And I think RFK has done a heck of a job in talking about these issues in a way that nobody has in a very, very long time.
And we've also, we can't be prescribing hormones to kids.
We know that this is a disaster.
This is awful and it makes no sense.
And we've got to stop that immediately.
And I think RFK's really put a strong line in the sand to say, we're not going to tolerate it.
I agree with you 100%.
I'd say, you know, at its core, public service should be about improving the quality of people's lives.
How does that drive your mission and your campaign going forward now that you're announcing?
Look, I think about all the opportunity, Don, I've been given.
And I think about the public school teachers I've had, ministers, coaches, people that have helped me along the way.
And we all stand on the shoulders of somebody else who's helped us.
And I've been very fortunate to live the American dream here in Kentucky.
And I want to fight for families like mine.
And I believe the working class, the people like my family that work in the auto plant, they have been left behind until your father came along to say, we're going to empower you.
We're going to give you a platform.
We're going to speak for you in a way that nobody's spoken for the forgotten Americans in a very, very long time.
And that's been so exciting to me because I think, look, at the end of the day, we all want to live the American dream.
We all want to get access to the American dream.
And the American dream for a long time, it seemed impossible for a lot of people.
And it seemed like it was going away.
And it seemed like unreachable to a lot of folks.
And I think now is the time that we're hopeful.
You know, Don, my mother used to tell me we may not have a lot of money, but it's free to think big.
And your father has encouraged us to think big again and to get excited about our future.
And I want to bring that kind of energy to the United States Senate.
I want to bring that kind of passion for the working class.
And I think the world is our oyster if we continue driving the MAGA agenda.
And we can be anything we want to be.
And it's really up to our imagination and our commitment to the dream and fulfilling that.
I agree.
Listen, my father's famous saying was, hey, if you're going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big, right?
That's right.
That's right.
How do you combat?
Obviously, you're not going to be running against Mitch McConnell anymore, but you're still running against that machine.
What's your plan for that?
Because obviously in Kentucky, whether it should or shouldn't, I'd say it shouldn't anymore because he doesn't deserve to have the power or the credibility that he does anymore.
I think that probably holds true with the average voter.
But with the political machines in the state and in D.C. that are going to be funding a lot of these things, that's still going to be an issue.
How do you handle that, Nate?
Look, Don, as you know, I've been very aggressive in my rhetoric against the McConnell machine, against his policies, against the sabotage of your father's agenda.
And I've been the only one that's actually been as aggressive as we have.
And it comes at a great price.
You know, just last week, Andy Barr hosted a fundraiser with a lot of McConnell donors.
And I think the McConnell machine has decided Daniel Cameron can't win.
So we're going to go to Andy Barr.
We're going to ride that horse as long as we can.
And you're going to see more and more of these establishment of figures move from Daniel Cameron to Andy Barr because they believe that's their best chance.
And there's going to be lots of pearl clutching because of the rhetoric we're going to have against Mitch, Mitch and his boys, both of these guys.
And I think that this race is going to be very, very simple.
It's a referendum on Mitch McConnell's record.
It's a referendum on Mitch McConnell's legacy.
And you've got two McConnellites that owe everything to Mitch McConnell versus the outside business guy that's running as the MAGA candidate.
And I think that contrast is going to be very, very striking to Kentuckians all over the state because they've had enough.
They've had enough of Mitch.
And as you know, you know, Mitch McConnell, famous, we would say, if someone throws a pebble at me, I'm going to throw a boulder back.
They're going to come after us, Don.
They're going to get very, very aggressive, but we're ready.
And I know that this is the fight.
And this is what it takes to fight for the average Kentuckian and to finally give this seat back to the people and give it back to the people that have been waiting for generations to have representation that's ready to fight for them in Washington.
Nate, where can we go to learn more?
Don, you could come and visit me at natemorris.com.
And to all your listeners out there, we need your help.
We need your help in fighting the McConnell machine.
Please donate.
Please get involved.
Even if you can just give a dollar, we need your help and we need your investment in this race because it's going to take everything we have to defeat the McConnell machine once and for all and give this seat back to the people where it belongs.
Well, Nate, I really appreciate it.
Thank you so much.
