Hello everyone and welcome to the Kimberly Guilfoyle Show, live on Rumble, where facts come first and where news is done right.
And we begin with a big breaking stolen valor scandal surrounding Democrat VP pick Tim Walz.
As it's now been uncovered that Walz falsely claimed on multiple occasions that he was a combat veteran in the War on Terror and that he served in Afghanistan.
As it turns out, those claims are false and Walz is refusing
...to answer direct questions about his service.
And that is not all.
The National Guard members who Walz commanded say he abandoned them right before the unit was set to deploy to Iraq.
Watch.
...to wage a public war of words against Tim Walz.
He abandoned us.
What the hell kind of leader does that?
As soon as the shots were fired in Iraq, he turned and ran the other way and hung his hat up and quit.
And it doesn't stop there.
Wallace even launched his political career back in 2009 by falsely claiming he was a combat veteran.
So where is all the outrage in the media?
Where are the tough questions?
Republican veteran candidates are routinely grilled about every aspect of their service, even when there's no controversy.
For example, 25-year Navy captain and Virginia Senate candidate Hung Kao had the press smothering him with questions about a brain injury and demanded medical records, and he was asked to provide documented evidence of every time he received incoming fire.
It's remarkable how shamelessly the left-wing media will smear the service of a Republican while making excuses for the stolen valor of a Democrat.
Joining me now is Virginia Senate Candidate, retired Navy Captain, Hung Kao.

Kimberly, thank you so much for having me on.
All right.
Well, I've enjoyed everything that you've been writing on X, etc.
You had a very revealing thread this week on how the media treated you and your service and contrasted that to this growing scandal surrounding Tim Walz.
What can you tell us?
Well, I came here as a refugee from Vietnam, and I got grabbed onto the American Dream.
I went to the top schools in the nation, but I paid back every single dime of that American Dream with 25 years of service in Navy Special Operations, where I served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia.
So I'm running against the other Tim from Minnesota, right?
So, also a governor who also ruined his state, and was also a failed VP candidate.
And so I said, you know, Tim Kaine and I received the same paycheck from the American people for 30 years, except he has millions of dollars to show for it and I have scars.
And so, of course, he goes crying saying, why doesn't he respect my service?
And so, of course, I came back and said, please tell me that you're not equating your service where you sat in a
We're good to go.
You know, furthermore, the men that Walt served with say that he abandoned them.
Can you even imagine this?
Before deploying to Iraq.
Have you ever heard of something like this from a commander?
You know, what does it say to you?
Well, we call it pulling a deployment muscle, right?
That's when someone's like, oh no, my neck, my back, my neck and my back, and they can't deploy.
And that's sad because your troops are leaning on you.
He's a senior enlisted leader, or he was supposed to be, for his unit.
And they rely on him.
The battalion commander relies on him to give him the feel of the ground, how the men and women feel.
And he's not there for them.
And so he left them to pursue a career in politics.
Well, that's because that's what he cares more about, right?
But now he has heightened scrutiny, and it just really exposes the double standard.
And let's talk about another Tim with a lot of problems.
Your opponent, Tim Kaine, okay, would know what it's like to be a weak VP pick, right?
Remember this?
What else should Virginia know about this guy?
I'm really not a fan of his, I gotta tell you.
But I'm a fan of yours.
Well, Virginia, no one in Virginia knows who he is.
The only thing they can remember is that this guy got stuck on I-95 with a bottle of Dr. Pepper during a snowstorm.
That's all they can remember.
So, of course, Ipe calls this out, and he's now running around using the taxpayers' dollars to, you know,
Like, fiddling on the roof, he's playing his harmonica around Virginia saying, hey guys, I'm still alive.
And this is the Tim Kaine, he's like a cicada.
He pops out every six years and he takes pictures with veterans, but on the other side, he's bashing us and he's not doing anything to help veterans.
Well, you know, he just, I don't know, he just seems like one of the phoniest politicians that I've ever seen.
It was a terrible VP pick, which reminds me much like this one in terms of the, you know, the parallels, because people see through it, you know what I mean?
And they think that they're above the scrutiny, that they can actually put forth false narratives, false backgrounds, and under false pretense.
And for me, it's just, I don't even know how to explain why
You know, Kamala Harris chose this guy, and he's like, like, being a weirdo.
It's bad enough we have her cackling, and then he's like, a buffoon, like, doubled over, laughing like crazy.
I don't even know what's going on.
Yeah, well, you know, they had an opportunity to pick a governor from a swing state that won that swing state by 15%, but they refused to do it because he was Jewish.
And so that shows you that they're answering the Hamas wing of their party, right?
And look, the difference between Donald Trump and Tim Walz is the fact that Donald Trump took a bullet for us and Tim Walz ran away from one.
That's exactly it.
That's the contrast.
Let's talk again about your service.
25 years.
You're endorsed by President Trump.
Congratulations on that.
He has the best taste.
What are you hearing on the ground in Virginia from voters?
Tell us how your race is going and also, you know, where people can go to get involved, to support you, to learn more about you.

You know, I ran for Congress in 2022 and I didn't win, but I moved that needle 13 percent in Northern Virginia, which includes Loudoun County, where they were, you know, the school boards were attacking the parents.
And so that's a Biden plus 19 that I took down to six points.
And you know, that's why they asked me to run for U.S.
Senate, because the South, you know, starting in Rappahannock County, Fauquier County, and Prince William County, all the way down, they love President Trump.
I mean, down in Southwest Virginia, there's still Trump 2020 signs, and then they just change the number 2024.
They love President Trump because they know what
You know, that he's, you know, under President Trump, we had peace and prosperity.
But under Joe Biden, the world is on fire.
And so, you know, this is why we're going to win this race, because with President Trump coming on behind us, and the way I was able to move north of Virginia, we're going to win this race and get this country back in line.
No, you're absolutely right.
And you've also said that America saved your life, which I think is a very beautiful statement.
And you talked about your family being, you know, from Vietnam.
Talk more about how that drives your mission.
You know, this country gave us everything and I paid back with blood, sweat and tears.
And, you know, I hate the fact that illegal immigrants are coming back across this country unchecked.
I mean, my family waited seven years in line for our citizenship.
In fact, my father was so proud.
of being an American citizen, the last thing that hung over his bed before he passed away two years ago was his naturalization certificate.
So my voice to everybody else is, hey, don't come to America if you're not willing to, you know, obey the American laws and embrace the American culture, because I did.
I love this country so much, I wrote a blank check up to and including my life.
Yeah, and that's so true.
So I like that in the background.
So it says, call me an American.
Tell me about that.
Well, when I ran against the lady in the 10th district last year, she kept calling me everything from a extremist, you know, ultra-MAGA, super-duper, you know, right-wing.
She even called me a white-adjacent supremacist or something like that.
You can't make this stuff up.
I mean, what?
And I said, you know what?
That's a new one.
I deserve to be called an American.
I earned that title of being an American.
And so, you know, that title, that book is almost kind of big, you know, flipping the bird to her because, you know what?
Joke's on you because I'm proud of that title of being called an American.
Yeah, that's for sure.
So I want to talk about the state of Virginia, okay?
And, you know, and President Trump also had Glenn Youngkin in consideration for VP.
You know the state very well.
The northern part of the state is more DC-centric, is that correct?
And then you have the rest of the state.
What do we need to know?
Well, it's very DC-centric, but there's a lot of immigrants up here.
And they came here for the same thing I did, which is God, family, and country.
And they're seeing what I'm seeing, which is the left has turned this country into what we ran away from.
We don't want an authoritarian regime.
We don't want to be told what to do.
We just want to be left alone to thrive as Americans.
And so that's why I was able to move that Northern Virginia needle 13%
In 2022, and we're going to move it even further because they see now, their eyes are open and they understand that, look, under President Trump, we were thriving as a nation.
Under President Biden, the only person that was better off than they were four years ago today in this country is an illegal alien.
So, and let's discuss, you know, talk about what your top issues would be in the Senate.
The first thing is to secure that border.
We have to secure that border because, again, we have millions of illegal aliens coming across the border every day.
We have tens of thousands of military-aged males that are coming across here.
We just found out this young lady, a beautiful black woman from 18 years old from Chesapeake, Virginia.
Her name is Lauren Nicole Leonard.
She was murdered.
By an illegal alien.
A few months before that, in my own county up here in Loudoun County, a grandmother of eight, a 54-year-old grandmother of eight, Marjorie Waldecker, was run over and killed by an illegal alien.
We have to stop this influx of illegals in this country.
And then we have to get this economy going.
And that starts with energy independence.
Because that's what drives everything else.
If it costs more for farmers to farm their lands and truckers to move the goods to the stores, then what do you think is going to happen to the consumers?
No, you're absolutely right.
I mean, how are things going as well for your race and what can people do to get involved?
Look, if you can't vote for me, I can definitely vote for you, because my vote in the Senate will help all Americans.
And I'm asking for you to give me the ammunition I need to fight.
Because, look, I've been shot at, I've been blown up.
What can they possibly do to me?
So, you know, I'm not afraid of anything.
I'll fight for you every day, but give me the ammunition to fight.
And the only ammunition, unfortunately right now, is the money.
The money to overcome the Democrat left-wing media.

One other quick question I just have for you that one of our viewers has is, you know, Fairfax County has been the center of the fight over schools.
You know, what have we been hearing from voters?
Well, I was the first class to graduate from this amazing school called Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
We were, for decades, the number one school in the country.
The left has turned that school around because they wanted more meritocracy.
They saw too many Asians in there, so it went from 75% Asian to 55% Asian because they wanted more diversity.
We're good to go.
Yeah, well that's the problem, and it's very upsetting.
I would love for Virginia to just have a fabulous, strong patriot like yourself, so we hope we can make that happen.

And it tells me that President Trump is right, once again, as he usually is.
He said it best himself just this past week in Pennsylvania.
He said,
Fight, fight.
You watched President Trump today take questions for over an hour from any and every reporter that was there.
Kamala Harris couldn't even do that for five minutes.
Kamala Harris is really, she's an actress, you know?
She would be much better suited for the Hollywood donors, just to go back to Hollywood and be an actress because she loves to play a tough girl prosecutor up on that stage.
I know you know a thing or two about being an actual tough prosecutor.
She just likes to play one up on a stage.
We're good.
You look at J.D.
Vance yesterday.
Shows up on that same tarmac, right?
Walks over to her plane, says, you know, your press corps, they look a little lonely.
Why don't I take a few questions from you guys?
But you and I both know what's really going on here.
What's really going on here is that you have a liberal mainstream media that is permitting this.
They are letting her get away with it because they know that when Kamala Harris has to take a tough question, or she has to sit for a tough interview,
The truth of who she is is going to be revealed and people are going to find out why she had to drop out of the 2020 primary so darn fast and couldn't even crack 2% in her own party's primary way back in 2020.
Couldn't make it out of Iowa because the second the truth about who Kamala Harris is exposed,
She can't take the heat.
But that's okay because, as usual, we're going to go ahead and do the liberal mainstream media's job for them.

You know, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, they are a match made in heaven, right?
Birds of a feather usually flock together.
You've got Kamala Harris, who bailed out the rioters,

That was somehow going to fix anti-racism or whatever the soup of the day was.
But these people, like we've been saying, Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, birds of a feather, liberal birds of a feather who flock together, they will turn this country into San Francisco, like you said.
You've got the liberal mainstream media giving her the Hillary Clinton treatment.
You've got them trying to turn Tim Walz into a Midwestern moderate dad.
They are anything
But Kamala Harris, right, has said when she was Attorney General that she would like to make sure that every prison inmate who wanted gender reassignment surgery had access to taxpayer funds to do so.
They want to give taxpayer funds to illegal immigrants to pay for their healthcare.
Meanwhile, every day President Trump meets people out on the road telling him,
I'm a senior and I'm having to come out of retirement because I can't afford my bills, I can't afford my medications.
Kamala Harris wears a $62,000 Tiffany necklace around her neck every day and she's out there telling everybody, biodynamics is great, we're so proud of it, it works great.
Meanwhile, average American family, right?

And let's talk about President Trump, who's never afraid to do an interview, answer a question, do a press conference.

Give us a glimpse into where you think this race goes over the next, I think it's like, 88 days now.
Right.
Well, as you said, President Trump is a great American warrior, right?
This is a man that took
A bullet for democracy?
Of none other than Donald J. Trump.
As we remember, the last time President Trump was on a debate stage, the Democrat nominee for president had to drop out of the race entirely.
I believe that is unprecedented in American political history.
But here's where I think this race goes.
President Trump, as I said, great American warrior who always keeps that focus on the American people.
As he said, it is fake, fake, fake versus fight, fight, fight.
I see these dynamics reminding me so much
I don't
Yes.
Really good.
Right?
One of the few people who actually do accurate polls, Rasmussen, right?
You see, the reason why President Trump continues to go up in these polls in all of these battleground states is because what you see is what you get.
Like President Trump said a long time ago, he said, I don't have time to be politically correct in this country.
We don't have time for this, right?
We have a country to save.
The American people know there's only one person who can do that.
That's President Donald J. Trump.
And so we are going to continue to run, yes, against Kamala Harris, but we're going to continue to run against the liberal mainstream media that carries water for her, the Democrat Party, the entire system, the entire swamp, all in full force.
I think it's 2016 all over again, and thank God for Donald J. Trump.

What updates can you tell us?
Well, you saw President Trump at that press conference, right?

This is the man who had no fear showing up to CNN.
As I said, the last time he was on that debate stage, agreed to it in hostile CNN territory.
The Democrat nominee for President, Joe Biden, had to drop out of the race, somehow managing to still be the current sitting President of the United States.
There's a tough question that Kamala Harris should have to answer.
Won't.
So, we'll see.
As I said, Kamala Harris, fake, fake, fake.
She's a real good actress.
She's real good at putting up a tough fight.
But President Trump also said earlier, just a couple of weeks ago, you know, I'll put up my record against hers, point by point.
Let's go.
Let's go on the border, right?
President Trump wants to secure our border.
Kamala Harris, borders are, has allowed upwards of 10 million illegal immigrants into this country.
360 names off the terror watch list.
30 tons of fentanyl.
That's enough fentanyl to kill every American citizen.
Multiple times over, let's go on the economy.
Kamala Harris says Bidenomics, Kamala-nomics, really, is working just fine.
People remember that Trump economy.
They remember President Trump saying, drill, baby, drill, right?
You've got Kamala Harris saying, no matter what kind of flip-flopping she does, saying that she'd like to ban fracking.
So President Trump, I think, is happy to go up point by point, point by point, record by record, up on that debate stage, anytime, anyplace.
Anywhere.
And you know, he may have the honor of defeating not just one, but two Democrat nominees in one political year.
A historic feat.
I like that.

I want to get your reaction to this, you know, growing scandal involving Tim Walz.
You know,
In the military, we have 14 leadership traits and one of the biggest ones is integrity.
If you don't have integrity, you don't have character.
The statement that he makes there is that he served, and I'm not sure if I heard it right or not, but that he served in the Army.
I don't know if he distinguished that it was the Army National Guard or not, because there is a difference there, but that he served for over 20 some odd years, and he served in war.
Well, he didn't serve in war.
He stayed home when the rest of his unit deployed, and I've read a lot of things about it.
That he's also made the statement that, you know, he didn't join the National Guard to go to war.
Like a lot of people, they joined for whatever other reason that benefits the schooling and all of that stuff that the government gives us as veterans, which is terrific, but
The one thing that you have to understand if you put your feet on them yellow footprints and you raise your hand and take that oath is that you will defend this Constitution, the Constitution of this country.
Yeah, you're absolutely right.
And you know what message, Mark, does it send to actual combat veterans when they hear Tim Walz talking like this and offering no corrections or apologies?
Well, it just shows him for what he is.
I mean, he's a hack.
He's what we call a strap hanger.
He's one of those guys that likes to go around and tell people of what he's done.
I mean, there's pictures floating out there that I've seen on the internet of him wearing a ball cap that has a Special Forces logo on it.
You know, he ain't saying that he's special forces, but by wearing that, he's indicating that he is to people.
I know.
I hate that.
And that's just as bad as him saying that he is.
It's awful.
I really can't stand it.
It makes me sick to my stomach, you know, especially, like, real heroes like yourself, you know, that, you know, fought,
Save lives, put it all on the line, and you have people like this, who literally is now the vice presidential nominee.
I mean, what a disgrace.
And his own troops saying that he abandoned them when they were getting deployed?
It's reprehensible.
Talk about how this story is playing, you know, in veteran circles, in veterans groups, in group chats, etc.
What's the narrative?
What's the dialogue on this?
You know, for true warriors, it's outrageous.
It's an outrageous lie.
It's a lack of integrity.
And it really shows his character.
You know, he's not that person that you would want to depend on in a fighting hole next to you because you don't know what he's going to do.
And to think that he has the audacity to come out and say that or at least imply that he was a war hero or a warrior.
He's not a warrior.
He's just a hack.
Well, that's the thing.
And there's been no, you know, corrections, no apologies, no nothing about this.
It's just like we're supposed to sweep it under the rug.
This is why Don and I, and you were talking about it, people have to come out like yourself and talk to the folks about it because otherwise, you know, the mainstream and legacy media won't cover it.
No, they won't.
They won't.
And if we're not careful, we're going to get... He's as far-left Marxist as Harris is herself.
I mean, you know...
And this is what is in the military, especially in the National Guard troops.
You've got a leader like this that is, you know, a card-carrying Marxist, I'm sure.
I mean, he is now if he wasn't then.
And that just really scares me as to the direction this country is going.
We need to have someone in the office that's going to bring us together, that's going to fight for the American people, and most importantly, defend the Constitution of this country.

And you know what makes me think, and so many people I talk to, you know, if this guy is willing to lie and to try essentially to profit from a false narrative of stolen valor, what else is he willing to lie about, right?
I mean, this is a very, like, morally disqualifying, you know, fact.

I mean, you know, he could have really
Took a step back and identified exactly what he meant and been more particular in that statement, but he chose not to, which again tells you more about his character that, you know, you can't believe a thing that he says.
He's going to say whatever he wants in front of whatever group he is.
No different than what Joe Biden has done his whole life.
What Kamala Harris has done with her is putting on this fake idea of who they are.
To appease the crowd that is in front of them, and that's it.
And, you know, that's the worst type of person that you can have because if you can't trust somebody, if you can't trust somebody's word, then what good are they in any other aspect of their life?
No, I know.
He's unfit to serve, in my opinion, as Vice President of the United States.
So is she, for that matter.
I mean, just look at that.
That's not calling names.
That's just calling out facts.
And that's how I feel very strongly, you know, about it.
I feel like we're in a very serious moral crisis, economic crisis, national security crisis, you know, in this country.
Talk to us about that.
Yeah, you know, we've got fighting-age men from several different countries that don't like us coming across our southern border.
We have leadership that is in office that is failing the American people to stem that tide of that invasion.
We are spending money like it's free.
I mean, you know, there's really no money behind it.
It's just a number that's on a spreadsheet somewhere that
They are donating out to various groups under the guise of either climate change, which is then going to radical groups that are helping.
I mean, I was just listening to a statement by Malcolm X and it was very interesting how he depicts the Republican white man versus the Democrat white man.
In that statement, and he says, you know, the biggest difference is the Democrat white, white man, male is there just to try to utilize the black man to gain their own purpose.
And that's what it's, you know, it was interesting that that came up at the time that it did right before we got onto this.
No, it's it's unbelievable.
How do you see the race going at this point, especially they have to consider this a massive setback, that these are very dishonest people that are immoral and should not be running the country.
Yeah, I think so.
I mean, you know, you know, they talk about democracy and they keep throwing this word out there as well.
And we're not a democracy.
We are a republic that operates under democratic principles.
And if we're not careful, we are going to have a democracy, which in the history of the world, every democracy has led to a dictator.
And they always try to throw that onto Donald Trump and us.
And it's really the same thing that we've seen throughout.
I mean, since 2015, 2016, you know, everything that they say that Donald Trump has been doing is the stuff that they've been doing themselves, and they're just projecting their wrongs and their ill wills against him.
Well, you're absolutely right.
Unbelievable.
I can't stand people who project.
It's like they've got it all messed up with them.
They try to project it onto you.
It is so like pathetic and weak and ridiculous.
I just, I can't, we cannot allow these people to get in office.
We will not recognize this country.
We will not be safe at all.
You know it, what you just highlighted from a national security perspective.
I mean, she was the border czar.
Like, what a disaster.
I mean, she's responsible and Biden for all of the illegal drugs coming in, the loss of life, a terrible homicides that have occurred, gang members coming in, you know, human sex trafficking.
Terrible.
And now, you know, how do you sleep with one eye open?
I bet.
Um, because you're just waiting for the other shoe to drop about which one of these nefarious evil characters that have come in from all these different countries, right, taking the path of least resistance, thanks to this reckless administration, are just sitting there, you know, lying in wait, worrying, you know, waiting to just do something.
And I had Bernie Kerik on the other day.
He's like, Kimberly, you know, we don't, it's not about another 9-11 with airplanes.
The people are already here on the ground.
That's the problem.
Yeah, and it's not about, you know, six or eight or ten of them.
We're talking thousands, if not tens of thousands or more people that are fighting age men from countries that hate us, that want to do us harm, and we are not doing anything about it.
I mean, Kamala Harris is just as bad as Tim Walz is.
She says whatever she wants in front of people.
She's now trying to say she's the prosecutor
Trying to stand up and saying, follow me.
When you look at her, you look at her record of throwing people in jail for everything, for misleading with evidence, for tampering with evidence is, you know, in my opinion, some of the stuff that she's done from what I've read about.
And it is just, it's horrendous that the, you know, cause we're not really talking here to the left, the far left.
What I'm talking to is the people that are still in the, on the,
Left side of center that need to recognize what is going on in this country.
And as you said, you know, we are not seeing the country that I grew up in that my grandfather grew up in for sure.
No.
You know, my great my grandfather fought in World War Two for this country.
I had three uncles that fought during Vietnam.
This is not the country that we fought for.
No, you're absolutely right, but we've got to rise up and fight again.
That is a fact, so keep getting the word out there.
Let's expose these people for the frauds that they are.
Stolen valor is unacceptable in each and every situation, and this is one of the most serious we have seen.
