	I know this is the last minute, but given what's going on, I figured you're actually the guy.
	You understand markets.
	You understand business.
	We see the news coming out of the Middle East.
	How you doing?

	Thank you for that gracious introduction.
	The one inaccuracy is the billionaire part.
	I probably would have been saved with the 15 years of harassment of the USG, but I've still got time and I've got plenty of other shit.
	I figured it was close, so I gave you the benefit of the doubt.
	I think you did pretty well.
	A long ways off.
	I think you did fine.
	Don't be modest.
	It was a good ride, but you ride the waves and you ride the troughs.
	So, but look, I think the markets are reacting.
	The fact, seeing Kamala Harris describe a cloud computing or how she would deal with inflation, I think she's very much the mental equal of Joe Biden, who at 78 was clearly failing and going away.
	Kamala is just, she's just not there.
	She's clearly not, whether it's describing space travel, And it was amazing.
	It's embarrassing.
	At least Joe Biden has dementia.
	Kamala Harris, what's your excuse?
	For Joe, I understand.
	For her, and again, watching a media that was like, she's incompetent, she's the worst, they've been sort of, you know, what we'd say, you know, Screwing her over pretty bad in the background because it's true.
	No one believes in her.
	No one has any faith in her.
	All of DC understands that.
	But watching the media go from an unusual moment of like clairvoyance, a moment where they were actually objectively honest for the first time in decades about a Democrat, Joe Biden, And then to get Kamala as the nominee and then go full force.
	She wasn't the border czar.
	She wasn't liberal.
	She's a total moderate.
	She's totally not incompetent.
	The cloud computing thing, she has a deeper understanding than you could possibly imagine.
	And that's why she has no idea what's going on.
	That was a turnaround like I've never actually seen before in my life.
	I mean, I knew it was coming, but man, that was crazy.
	We've gone full Soviet.
	Where, you know, they just don't believe your lying eyes.
	It's like we're living through 1984, and they actually think we're that dumb.
	And sadly, there's enough low-information voters that actually might be affected by it.
	So, you know, we need to do a better job of making sure we turn out people that care about the economy, that care about their jobs.
	Even Jim Cramer today said, if you care about your paycheck, you have to vote for Donald Trump.
	Really?
	But the problem is when Kramer says anything, you usually want to short it.
	I'm like, oh, that's the kiss of death.
	You usually want to go the opposite.
	But I think even Jim Kramer understands.
	Yeah, listen, and honestly, that's what it is.
	The stock market on a day-to-day basis doesn't affect most Americans, but it does affect your 401k.
	You combine that with the inflationary properties that we see going on in the world, you see, you know, I go to look at a new car, I look at this, I'm like, man, I remember when cars were a third this expensive, and I'm not that old.
	When you look at the massive additional deficit spending that they've done for the last four years, the so-called Inflation Reduction Act, which has had exactly the opposite effect. And when you
	have 50% more money, so literally one third of our national debt has accrued over the last four
	years. It's a staggering bad figure.
	And so when you put that much liquidity in it, that's why we have inflation. And the sad thing
	is the federal government's not even reporting true inflation the way it's supposed to be,
	because they suppress the energy numbers, et cetera. But the sad thing is the people that
	are living that are getting crushed by inflation, they actually feel it, whether it's more for eggs,
	or meat, or gasoline, or electricity, or whatever. So it's just a pile of wrong.
	And on top of that, you're also going to see the effects of the failures in foreign policy. I mean,
	they've basically allowed the Hooties to win.
	They've shut down one of the world's major waterways, which is adding two months of travel, of transit time, coming from the Middle East or South Asia to get to the United States now.
	So it's just, it's wrong.
	And we are going to have cascading failure.
	And I think it's only going to get worse for them.
	Sadly for the average American taxpayer, it's going to be bad as well.
	Yeah, the lies about inflation.
	I talked about it on the show a bunch.
	You know, Paul Krugman.
	Inflation is actually doing great if you take out energy, transportation, food, and housing.
	And I'm like, what else is there?
	Like, if you're an ordinary American, what else is there?
	Because I don't have much else in my life.
	What an elitist ass to actually say, if you take out those things.
	Because is he that?
	That's why your dad is popular, because he speaks to the average person's concerns and he sees how nonsense the system is when you have elitists, the spokesmodels for the New York Times, just trying to lie to us that often.
	Enough.
	Enough is enough.
	Eric, we're finding out about what's going on in the Middle East.
	Obviously, you were one of the biggest civilian contractors over in the Middle East for many years.
	You were a former Navy SEAL.
	There's reports now that say U.S.
	personnel were injured in a rocket attack in Iraq, and that now more attacks from Iran are imminent.
	I guess, you know, they raised the red flag over one of the big temples.
	This is a response to all this stuff in Israel.
	I mean, obviously it's a really complex thing, even how now Iraq is still in this.
	What can we expect?
	What is going on that, you know, that most people aren't understanding in this?
	Because obviously all of the chaos over there, which I don't think would have happened under my father,
	because it didn't.
	We actually solved peace deals in the Middle East.
	But a lot of that chaos is coming back to hurt Americans because it hurts us in energy pricing, which is something that gets us every day at the pump.
	But instability in the region, Iraq and Iran, you know, rocket attacks, all of that raises the price of oil, costs us more at the pump each and every day.
	But what do you see going on?
	What can we expect to happen in the near future?
	It's worse than that.
	It's the collapse of American credibility and deterrence.
	When our enemies don't respect us, let alone fear us anymore, they take shots at America.
	The Navy has fired a billion dollars worth of missiles at Houthi drones provided by the Iranians.
	They say it's a billion.
	It's actually five billion because that's the replacement cost for all those missiles that they acquired with zero effect.
	The Iranians have effectively taken over Iraq.
	They have a 250,000 man militia called the Hashd al-Shaabi, which is just like Hezbollah in Lebanon.
	That's who's shooting drones and missiles.
	Correct, again, because the United States does not understand how to absorb power.
	And we have an extremely risk-averse CIA and national security bureaucracy, which never... It's like the Iranians are like a batter that's crowding the plate.
	And now they're fully occupying the plate, and nobody's giving them a brushback pitch.
	And so, but worse, the failure in the Ukraine war and the overuse of sanctions, the Russian economy is stronger than ever.
	They're doing well.
	The ruble is strong.
	The Russian economy is growing.
	I think it's growing at three times what Europe's is.
	Because they have a manufacturing thing and now they actually have an excuse to manufacture it so between our sanctions which raised oil prices so much they're like net neutral in terms of expense on the war because the oil prices went up so much they export it to China and India and whoever else will take it and in the meantime they've built up their industry creating their war machine it's like it's the dumbest thing in the world like we're literally we're creating The strength of our enemy, which is, you know, I imagine I was no Navy SEAL like you, but I imagine tactically probably not the smartest thing in the world to do.
	It's never a good idea to walk into battle shooting both in your feet first.
	But worse than that, our way of life has been subsidized by the fact that the dollar is the world's reserve currency.
	That's why we have $34 trillion in debt, because Congress continues to print more and more money because we can.
	But the more that we de-dollarize the global economy because of sanctions and because of the lack of credibility, Now you're moving away from the petrodollar, where China, Russia, India are trading completely outside of the dollar exchange.
	It's going to become a catalyst moment where America is going to have to suddenly go on a diet, a pretty severe one, and actually live within its means because we can't print unlimited dollars.
	I come back to the fact is America at the local level and the state level are pretty good shape because the states have to live within their means.
	They have to balance the budget.
	We have a problem in America because we have a hyper bloated federal government that has just run away because the idiots can print themselves.
	They never have to make a guns or butter decision.
	They just print money endlessly, which has made everything the federal government does hyper bloated, hyper ineffective.
	And it's almost like sprinkling fertilizer on every woke bad idea that's come out of every bad faculty conference room in every bad American university.
	And the federal government just subsidizes it and subsidizes it.
	So again, the next administration, hope to God, puts the federal government on a diet across the board.
	America as a population has an obesity problem.
	Our federal government is the most obese and it needs to go on a severe curtailment.
	Yeah, I mean, listen, obviously, you know, I understand sort of the disastrous notion of sort of losing the petrodollar.
	That said, what you're saying is, you know, we're funding, here's, you know, $25 billion to, you know, trans programs in Pakistan and, you know, all these things that don't do anything for America and, frankly, don't do anything for anyone that's trans in Pakistan because we all understand it's just a big rift.
	But the one thing that's good about it is we'd actually lose the ability to do all that borrowing.
	The problem is the interest that we have on the stuff that's already out there would be a total disaster if we can't continue sort of this vicious cycle of never-ending spending.
	So the one thing, maybe it actually forces us to be honest, but the other implications beyond that are so dangerous and so scary, I don't think people even understand how bad it is.
	And we've The Biden administration, along with Kamala Harris, obviously, has enabled the world to do that.
	They've enabled them to put us in a corner, to not respect our authority, to not respect our power, because the morons in the White House right now, both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, neither of them know how to actually wield that.
	We have immense economic strength that we can wield like a sword, but we don't because they don't even understand what they're talking about, let alone how to do it.
	They hyper-obsessed and were super provocative to Ukraine unnecessarily to Russia over Ukraine.
	Started this catastrophic war which has done nothing but kill hundreds and thousands of Ukrainians and Russians completely unnecessarily.
	Again, if the leftist media had not come up with the Trump-Russia lie, the election collusion lie in 2017, I think your dad could have made a deal and brought Putin Way closer to the orbit of Europe and the United States.
	It is for for a hundred years was a strategic goal of keeping German industry away from Russian resources.
	That was always our interest.
	Now all we've done is the stupidity of the neocons and the Biden administration is push Russia into the arms of China.
	So massive Russian resources into industrial powerhouse China and the Chinese Communist Party which is clearly the enemy of our republic.
	And so They're threatening Taiwan, they constantly encircle it, they're constantly, so they're moving, they're salami slicing, they're actually taking over significant island presence across the South Pacific, islands that people might remember like Guadalcanal and Niwatak, these places that our Marines and soldiers fought for in World War II, the Chinese are pushing in with black bag diplomacy because their State Department is asleep at the switch, focusing on woke and the wrong things instead of actually helping people
	Basic things like electricity, and fresh water, and trade, and jobs.
	So they're actually doing an encirclement strategy, island by island, diplomatically, and building bases.
	Not just the ones they built in South China Sea, but all the way down to nearby Australia.
	As you're moving west, they are significant presence all through Africa, dominating the mineral trade.
	And all the talk of strategic rare earth minerals, Essential for basically anything that's electronic that enables our life the way we have it.
	All of it gets processed in China.
	They own it.
	Right.
	The Middle East, they're pushing into significant areas of influence because the US has been so stupid in our conduct.
	The US has been pushed out of Niger and Burkina and Mali.
	We had bases that were just taken over by the Russians.
	That we spent billions of dollars for because of incompetence, and nobody ever gets fired.
	So we've had these long-running, slow-burning wars that cost a lot of money, and nobody's ever said, finish this thing, or get out.
	It's just all managed nonsense, and it all becomes a grift with a massive, very unhealthy NGO industry, which constantly feeds more donations back to Congress, a military-industrial complex that pays politicians way too much, To keep on spending.
	It is terrible.
	And now you see Venezuela, um, had another election and the socialist dictator Maduro backed by China and Russia and Iran is ignoring the actual results.
	And he's, I mean, he's going to stay there and they're using that Venezuelan, those, those, that money they make from there to spread socialism all through South America.
	So it is, the Maduro doctrine is dead.
	And we so desperately need a clean-out, a shake-up in foreign policy.
	It's like a really dirty rug that needs to be taken out and beaten because, you know, the foreign policy of America should be that our friends love us.
	And our friends, they want to love us, but they're wondering, we're like self-immolating.
	We're like setting ourselves on fire with the stupid things we do everywhere.
	Our rivals should respect us and our enemies have to fear us.
	And clearly none of those three things is really the case anymore.
	I meet with more people and leaders around the world and they say, my God, please, please make sure Donald Trump wins because we just can't take, we hate to see America destroying itself.
	This is not the America we've known and loved for the last 80 years.
	So, at the same time, I think, you know, something that's actually become unpopular with the general public is war and the never-ending wars, and yet it seems like most of Washington, D.C.
	is actively trying to get us into one.
	I mean, you know, but then you read the articles, and it's, you know, transadmiral this, and, you know, we really focus on DEI, and, you know, I put out a comment.
	That's probably like a year or two ago.
	It was a while.
	I said, hey, listen, I got buddies in the teams.
	They literally tell me they spend more time doing diversity training than they do shooting, and I'm like, What does it do for you?
	And they go, nothing, but we gotta go.
	The boss says we gotta go, we gotta go.
	I posted that, and I got killed in the press.
	Dodd Jr.
	said this, and then a bunch of, you know, Rob O'Neal, and Carl Higby, and these guys are buddies of mine that are actually SEALs.
	They're like, no, this is really happening.
	We hear it every day.
	You know, are we even prepared to fight the wars that we're clearly being dragged into at this point?
	It does not feel like it.
	Like, you know, the military readiness stuff, I don't know if obviously there's some badass door kickers out there, I'm not saying that, but when I look at some of the people who are leading them, when I look at the comments they make, it's like, you know, it's like they work at like woke Disney, not the army, right?
	It's different.
	It makes no sense.
	I guess they're looking for a board seat eventually, but like, it's insane.
	There's a reason that our recruiting numbers are so far off, because young men and women want to join to serve in a cause that's greater than themselves.
	They're not joining, the right people are not joining, when the military is touting sex change surgeries and all the other stuff, the nonsense.
	People join to want to be warriors.
	The Navy, 2017-18, had multiple fatal collisions between a warship and a commercial ship.
	This is a ship, a warship, a Burt-class destroyer with a probably $400 million radar that can see airborne, see targets up to 400 miles, yet they collide with a commercial container vessel that runs into them and almost sinks it, and it kills multiple crew members.
	That happened three times.
	Then the Bornholm-Rochard, a big helicopter carrier, catches fire while it's in San Diego dry dock, or pierside.
	It took them almost two hours to start getting water on the fire.
	Eventually the entire multi-billion dollar warship was totaled because they couldn't put the fire out because The damage control systems were not maintained properly and incompetence, so you lose a multi-billion dollar warship because of just pure freaking incompetence.
	Pearside, the operational rate of the Air Force, of the F-35, the most expensive weapon system in human history, is only 29%.
	29% of all the F-35s are ready to fight tonight.
	There are dozens of those aircraft that have been delivered, supposedly parked, because they can't get the software upgrades.
	To even make those things mission capable.
	They call that the F-35 Lightning II, but you can't fly it within 25 miles of a thunderstorm because the electronics were short out.
	But we have, you have to be very careful that spending a lot of the military does not equate to buying capability.
	Right.
	If you don't have the hardware and the hardware, the mental The mental tenacity to employ those weapons in the most savage, clever way possible, all you're buying is inventory and targets.
	And the military is really missing how advanced warfare has gotten, how it's accelerated because of the advent of small drones.
	The cauldron of learning that's come out of the Ukraine war of basically taking a $800 drone, putting a shape charge, Dropping it to the belly and letting someone fly that up to 10, 15, 20 kilometers away and drive it in the back of a tank.
	It is hugely asymmetric.
	We had 60% of the casualties in the Iraq and Afghan war were caused by roadside bombs.
	Now the enemy can fly that improvised bomb at you at 60, 70, 80 miles an hour, even in a highly jammed environment.
	The U.S.
	military is not anywhere near ready for that.
	As much as the Israelis spend on air defense and technology and all the rest, they've mastered the way to shoot down incoming ballistic missiles and the Iron Dome shooting down rockets, but 50% of the loitering munitions that are launched by Hezbollah north of the border are getting through and smacking targets inside Israel.
	It is a big freaking problem.
	Our military is not ready for it, the IDF is not ready for it, and I really hope the The Biden administration does not blunder into a war with Iran because there's a lot of people will die.
	A lot of our people will die.
	And the sad thing is the idiot elites in Washington have no skin in the game.
	It's not their kid that's out there standing the post.
	And so they make very casual decisions without having any understanding of blood and iron and suffering that goes with that.
	Scary stuff.
	We actually need to put some adults back in charge.
	We were told that that was what was happening with the Biden administration.
	That was clearly a lie.
	But I do have to ask you, Eric, because I know you did a lot of this, obviously, with Blackwater.
	You did a lot of protection details.
	You had former serious operators that worked for you all over the world.
	I imagine you did that far more efficiently than the United States military, which is why you were able to do that.
	I have to ask you about the Secret Service.
	Have you seen any assurances from this new director that they're even making any changes needed to ensure that what happened to my father a couple Saturdays ago doesn't happen again?
	And frankly, how did it happen to begin with?
	I know those guys well enough, you know those guys well enough, you and I both know that if they're actually doing their jobs and it's not Almost, at this point, almost has to be intentional.
	You know, I don't think it's a long shot to say, like, you know, a roof that is not guarded within 150 yards of the, you know, leading, you know, candidate of one side who has a full detail, who's the presumptive nominee at the time, yada, yada, yada.
	That does not happen.
	Have you seen anything out of it that believes that it wouldn't happen again?
	What about the official story to you doesn't make any sense?
	I'd love to get your whole take on this before you have to go, because I know you're rushing off to get on a flight.
	I don't think there was multiple shooters.
	Because if there was, again, it was protective detail.
	Even when the first shots go, his ear was hit, other shots were fired.
	As brave as your father was, standing up with that Fierce fight, fight, fight.
	God bless him for that kind of reaction.
	His detail should have had him out of there.
	He should have been down, behind cover, and moved away where nobody can hurt him anymore.
	But he stood up, and his whole upper torso and his head were wide exposed.
	So if there was a second shooter, somebody would have been shooting.
	A catastrophic failure of advance, of counter snipers, of coordination.
	I mean, the fact that nobody's been fired, There should have been public firings list.
	You absolutely need the disinfectant of transparency and truth to say, hey guys, we screwed up.
	We're the Secret Service.
	We are charged with protecting the most important leaders in our country and we screwed up today.
	This is what we've done to fix it.
	And it's all just a big CYA exercise, which is really frightening, which tells me they haven't learned a lesson.
	The fact that the Muppet that took over for the one that finally quit said, well, maybe Donald Trump shouldn't do any more outdoor events anymore, basically abrogating any responsibility.
	That is not the confidence you want.
	And again, look, There's some great people in the Secret Service.
	100%.
	I feel terrible for them that their professional reputation has been sullied by complete idiots that have infected the organization and dragged the credibility down.
	But to me, it's just another federal agency where they're used to no accountability, no corrective action, and it's just go along to get along.
	Whether you're the DOD and how you screw up the pullout of Afghanistan or get enrolled by the Iranians in Iraq, Or the Houthis in Yemen, or Somalia by al-Shabaab, or you get pushed out of Niger by some jihadis.
	It's just, it's like America is getting used to having its lunch money taken by every little shithead bully and bad guy, and enough is enough.
	And look, there's There's plenty of very capable Americans that know how to defend our interests and to make our enemies respect us, and to do so in a practical and cost-effective way.
	We're not looking to start more wars.
	The business of America is business, not war.
	But if our enemies choose to fight, then we have to remind them that we know how to do that too.
	And do that in a resounding way that they start to look up things like Scipio Africanus or Germanicus, because that's the lesson we want to teach them and leave them.
	Well, uh, yeah, listen, I think you're 100% right.
	Maybe we have to get you involved.
	I'm sure.
	I'm sure the military industrial complex will be thrilled.
	But, uh, you know what?
	Guess what?
	I bet you could do whatever we're capable of doing for about 15 or 20% of what they're spending.
	And, uh, you know, maybe we could then educate our kids and take care of our vets and do all the other things.
