| It's a shame that we have to laugh at these things, but there's times where you wonder, how do you not? | |
| How do you get through the insanity of what's going on? | |
| And this one comes from The Washington Post. | |
| You know, the Jeff Bezos Amazon Washington Post that has been one of the left's leading propaganda outlets for the last few years. | |
| And this one you literally almost can't make up, especially when you get into the reasoning. | |
| And it's an opinion piece by one of their columnists, Megan McArdle, who writes, why eggs are cheaper than you think. | |
| Eggs. They're cheaper than you think. | |
| Like, even if you're paying multiple times what they were a few months ago, even if, magically, when we call it out, the conspiracy theorists wondering what the hell's going on, and then, you know, the egg farms are burning down across... | |
| It's sort of weird how this is all happening. | |
| Again, you're a conspiracy theorist. | |
| But why eggs are cheaper than you think? | |
| Because things are better than what your lying eyes are telling you. | |
| And this is what the Washington Post Opinion person says in the thing, right? | |
| Even at today's elevated prices, right, it doesn't matter. | |
| If you can't help but cringing when you see the cashier ring up eggs that cost twice as much as they did a year ago, it might help to remember that however poor you feel, your ancestors would have taken one look at your grocery cart and declared you rich beyond their dreams. | |
| This is a real thing in the Washington Post. | |
| It may cost a lot, but if you were from the Stone Age and you saw what we were living in, you'd probably say this is wonderful. | |

| This is their reasoning to justify the insanity that's going on. | |
| We've seen the same stuff happen on other things as it relates to inflation and oil prices. | |
| They've come down from yesterday, not from when Joe Biden took office, but let's just massage the statistics. | |
| So yes, Your ancestors who lived in caves would think that you're blessed to actually have eggs and to be able to shop for them, no matter how expensive they are, even if it's bankrupting your family, even if the asinine policies of the left, even if the farms that do this stuff are burning down, like, you should be grateful, you ungodly peasants, you! | |
