| Wow, guys. This one's pretty embarrassing. | |
| But it probably actually shouldn't surprise us from mainstream media these days. | |
| CBS News, 60 Minutes. | |
| You know, one of these places that used to be sort of lauded as a place where you'd get information, but now you just realize it's just a propaganda arm for mainstream media and the Democrat Party. | |
| They did a whole piece And the tweet about it is the historic chaos in the House of Representatives this week embarrassed not only a party, but an entire nation. | |
| A small minority blocked the House from electing a leader or even swearing in its own members. | |
| So you can actually be on either side of that debate. | |
| And whether you were for Getting McCarthy in there or for someone else and still think that the idea that public debate in a democracy or a republic like America somehow embarrassed an entire nation is truly one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. | |
| I mean, you can be a Democrat and still probably understand that maybe the notion of debate is actually perhaps what we need more of in Congress. | |
| The only thing that seems really embarrassing to me is that CBS is dumb enough to publish this kind of stupid take. | |
| I mean, think about it. The implication being that The only acceptable form of democracy or governance would be one in which lawmakers have pre-baked decisions, they act like drones, Negate their entire constituency, thoughts, ideas, debate, argument, and they just go along with the talking points because that's exactly what CBS does. | |
| That's exactly what the Democrat Party would want. | |
| I mean, perhaps that's the difference between the Democrats and the Republicans. | |
| The Democrats, if they get a little win, they take it and they just get together and it doesn't really matter. | |
| Republicans will sit there about the ideas. | |
| I'm actually happy with the results of what happened. | |
| I think Kevin will do a great job. | |
| I think some of the concessions That the Republicans got also from him to make that happen are also going to put forth an agenda that's better for Republicans and conservatives. | |
| That's like not a negative thing. | |
| So I guess this is just like a news show doing the bidding of the DNC. These people are jokes. | |
| They're not journalists. They're propagandists. | |
| This is the same group, I think, right? | |
| I'll ask you, I'll ask him a question so that I don't get in trouble if I'm wrong, but they wouldn't confirm the Hunter Biden laptop either, right? | |
| I mean, it's embarrassing to have debate. | |
| You don't just take the talking points that the Democrat Party gives you and run with them. | |
| Terrible. Who would ever want that? | |
| We didn't just rubber stamp the person who's third in line to the presidency. | |
| I don't know. I like Kevin. | |
| I was actually in support of him because I know he's going to do a lot of things. | |
| I know what he was working on because I have people that I'm friendly with that I trust that were in on those conversations way before these debates ever happened. | |
| So that won't be popular with some people. | |
| But I get that. | |
| I believe it. But I don't think the concessions are bad. | |
| I think they're actually going to be very positive for our cause. | |
| And I think he's also a guy that'll do the work and wants that job. | |
| And there's a lot of that work and that job that ain't so fun. | |
| You're doing fundraising dinners 365 days a year. | |
| It's brutal. So I think this stuff's a positive. | |
| But remember, if you're getting your talking points from the media, if you're from, you know, 60 Minutes, you just want to rubber stamp whatever the DNC says, and that is the gospel, and that is what the American people want, even if the American people have no idea what the hell they're talking about in that situation. | |
| We need more debate, not less. | |
| We need probably more of it to be public so we actually see who's defending what and how. | |
| I think that's actually a positive, but not if you're a propagandist, not if you're one of the commies in mainstream media, and maybe not if you actually have a clue about what democracy actually means. |
