Ukraine's Top Priority
00:03:02
|
|
| Well, guys, huge news for Republicans. | |
| Huge, huge, one would say, with a capital Y. According to Mitch McConnell, Ukraine is the number one priority of Republicans. | |
| Not gas prices, not like 7%, probably more, inflation prices. | |
| Not the spikes in violent crime that are destroying our formerly great cities. | |
| Not even the 20,000 or so illegals per day crossing the southern border. | |
| Definitely not the fentanyl scourge that is crushing... | |
| Everyone equally, right? | |
| Whether young, old, rich, poor, none of that. | |
| You know, the southern border, all the stuff, the human trafficking, that's not our number one priority. | |
| But the Ukraine is. | |
| That's weird. That's weird. | |
| And it's news to me, folks. | |
| I had no idea that that was Republicans' number one priority. | |
| I mean, I'm out there a lot. | |
| I go all over the country. | |
| I speak to Republican groups everywhere. | |
| And I don't know that a single one of them has actually told me That's our number one priority. | |
| In fact, many of them can't believe we're blowing $130 billion, just so we're clear. | |
| $130 billion, approximately, with the new $45 billion that they've just given, is literally more money in one year. | |
| Then the combined amount of military aid to Afghanistan from 1946 to 2019. | |
| Just for a little perspective, okay? | |
| So when Mitch McConnell tells us it's the number one priority, nothing that actually affects you at home, nothing that hurts your wallet, affects your child's future, their education. | |
| No, no, no. The number one priority is Ukraine. | |
| And that's weird. Again, I've traveled the world. | |
| I have yet to meet a single Republican whose number one priority that is. | |
| I have not met one person. | |
| It's probably not top five for most Republicans around the country. | |
| But none of this should surprise us. | |
| Because that disconnect between a DC swamp creature who's just trying to get the military industrial complex rich You know, pay back his lobbyist friends, send more missiles to start a nuclear war with Russia. | |
| I mean, what could go wrong, folks? | |
| Of course that's their number one priority. | |
| You know what isn't their number one priority? | |
| You, the American public, your children, your livelihoods, your and their future. | |
|
Don't Be Beholden
00:00:31
|
|
| That's clearly not a priority, because it's Ukraine. | |
| And you all saw it this week with the Zelensky photo op, okay? | |
| Remember that, folks. | |
| DC isn't your friend. | |
| You don't want someone beholden to DC. You don't want someone beholden to the billionaire donor class. | |
| These kind of nonsense, that kind of ridiculousness, that's the logic it gets you. | |
| You're last. | |
