| Well guys, I liked it a lot better when our president got back American hostages without giving up anything. | |
| And especially without giving up international arms dealers. | |
| People who are serving time for conspiring to kill Americans and working with terrorist organizations. | |
| Remember when President Trump freed three students from China? | |
| Yeah. Didn't give up a Chinese arms dealer to get that. | |
| He got three Americans freed from North Korea. | |
| Didn't give North Korea their wish list. | |
| Just got them. He freed two people from Egypt, Aya Hijad and her husband. | |
| Didn't trade them an Egyptian arms dealer or a terrorist or someone who would then go back to work for those regimes against American interests, right? | |
| So we gave Russia their biggest arms dealer back in exchange for Brittany Griner, an American hating activist. | |
| But again, like, you know, it's probably a great trade, right? | |
| That guy The merchant of death is probably, as we speak, starting work arming Russian troops in Ukraine. | |
| So we are literally freeing a Russian arms dealer while simultaneously spending billions upon billions of dollars arming the Ukraine, sending them billions. | |
| So now we're giving their enemy one of the most notorious arms dealers in the world. | |
| I'm sure there won't be a problem there. | |
| I'm sure it won't drag this out. | |
| I'm sure it won't rack up more bills as Russia is able to get more stuff and be able to do it. | |
| And I'm sure the merchant of death isn't going to work for his buddy Putin who just got him out of a 25-year jail sentence early, right? | |
| He's going to do whatever he can. | |
| That's what these guys do, okay? | |
| So I liked it better when we freed Americans because they feared our strength, not because they saw our weakness. | |
| I like that a lot better, okay? | |
| But again, our enemies have now been emboldened. | |
| Our enemies, not just Russia, see that, hey, if you kidnap someone in America and they check off a bunch of the boxes and they can be woke, media heroes love, we can get America to do anything. | |
| Remember, I thought we didn't deal with terrorists, but that's basically what we're doing here. | |
| Now, of course, we don't get back The Marine, right? | |
| He didn't check enough woke boxes, probably. | |
| I'll say probably because they'll say, no, that's not accurate. | |
| So in my opinion, you know, we didn't get back the guy that was a cop for 15 years that enlisted in the Marines in the mid-90s that deployed to Iraq in 2004. | |
| We didn't get back the American hero. | |
| We got Brittany Griner, who hates America because she checks off a bunch of boxes. | |
| Now, we can be happy to get back any American hostages, as I was when my father did it, as I am now. | |
| But when I look at... | |
| What actually happened and what the trade is? | |
| It's insane. | |
| And we're emboldening our enemies to capture Americans, to hold them under dubious charges, as they did with both Brittany and Paul, obviously. | |
| I don't think it's crazy, but I do think there's a level of arrogance that probably Brittany Griner had going into Russia thinking she could get away with these things. | |
| Because in America, as a female celebrity, minority, lesbian, She's probably and can probably felt and probably could actually be above the law, right? | |
| Paul Whelan, he's not going to get those benefits. | |
| You know, that's... He's just a Marine. | |
| It's a little different. | |
| But our arrogance created that there. | |
| So she goes abroad and assumes she can get away with it. | |
| So that's terrible too. But... What do you think? | |
| El Chapo's probably like, oh, we should just capture some Americans. | |
| They'll just give us whatever we want. | |
| Probably not me. They'd let me rot like they would Paul. | |
| But, you know, we check some boxes. | |
| It creates a terrible and dangerous precedent for Americans abroad. | |
| I thought we didn't negotiate with terrorists, but apparently we do. | |
| Again, as long as they're media darlings and check a bunch of woke boxes, you know, so that we can satisfy the PC police and our media. | |
| It's a scary precedent. | |
| I imagine it's going to create a lot more issues for Americans. | |
| Abroad in the coming years when they know they can take advantage of these systems and really parlay that into huge wins for themselves, their governments freeing their scumbag buddies all around the world. |
