| Remember, folks, when you've been reading a lot lately that Trump was right again and again and every conspiracy theory ends up being debunked and turned around and the science changes? | |
| Well, here's another one where my father was 100% right. | |
| Yet again. | |
| We're going to go back to a little flashback where he addressed the UN talking about our dependence on foreign oil, our allies' dependence on foreign oil, whether that be NATO or whether that be OPEC taking advantage of our stupidity. | |
| And yet here we are in the midst of a crisis. | |
| The highest price for gas ever on a national average recorded just with this week. | |
| It's only going to get worse. | |
| And the one place we won't touch our own backyard. | |

| And maybe when the critics continue to mock him and make up things, you look to this example | |
| as men as well as countless others and realize that he was right about everything. | |

| In America, we believe strongly in energy security. | |

| We have become the largest energy producer anywhere on the face of the earth. | |
| The United States stands ready to export our abundant, affordable supply of oil, clean coal, and natural gas. | |
| OPEC And OPEC nations are, as usual, ripping off the rest of the world. | |
| And I don't like it. | |
| Nobody should like it. | |
| We defend many of these nations for nothing. | |
| And then they take advantage of us by giving us high oil prices. | |
| Not good. We want them to stop raising prices. | |
| We want them to start lowering prices, and they must contribute substantially to military protection from now on. | |
| Okay, so that's my father at the UN calling out OPEC, calling out the energy producers, who he's right. | |
| We spend countless dollars defending, but when we say, hey, produce some more, Well, we're not going to do that because we're more than happy to have oil and gas breaking $130, $150, $2,000. | |
| They don't care. They're thrilled. | |
| As long as we're dependent on them, they'll take advantage of us no matter what. | |
| He was right. | |
| And the fact that our leaders and our politicians haven't said enough is enough, haven't put aside their ridiculous and asinine plans, While simultaneously destroying our economy, hardworking men and women, their livelihoods, their means of transportation should tell you all you need to know about D.C. That's why you elected Trump in the first place. |
