Twitter's Double Standard
00:03:11
|
|
| Well, guys, we've talked about the Taliban calling out social media, etc. | |
| But this one's actually particularly interesting because Twitter has come out and said the Taliban can stay on the platform as long as they follow the rules. | |
| Which is pretty amazing because I guess their rules don't apply to rules of decency. | |
| They threw off my father, the former president of the United States, because of a couple mean but probably also true tweets. | |
| But they don't seem to have a problem with the Taliban. | |
| A terrorist organization. | |
| Now, we've seen this before. This is consistent behavior with Twitter, right? | |
| You've seen the mullahs in Iran have terror. | |
| They can say death to Israel and the Taliban can chant death to America. | |
| That does not violate the rules. | |
| They want to obliterate. | |
| If they could, they would nuke Israel. | |
| The Iranians, of course, I'm talking about, but probably also the Taliban. | |
| That does not violate the rules, I guess. | |
| When they enslave Women and force them into a repressive situation where they can't speak, they can't think, that does not violate Twitter's rules or policy. | |
| When they rape young women and kill their families and turn them into sex slaves for their soldiers, apparently that does not violate the rules. | |
| Did I discuss throwing homosexuals off buildings? | |
| It's kind of a big one. You would think that would violate Twitter's rules, but you would be wrong, apparently. | |
| You would think that that would get you... | |
| Off of the platform. You would think that you wouldn't want to give a platform to someone that thinks that way. | |
| But you'd be wrong. | |
| So guys, we're living in the matrix, right? | |
| Let's think of a couple other things. | |
| We've seen and heard the stories about what they're doing right now. | |
| They are whipping people in the streets. | |
| They are opening fire on people in the streets of Kabul. | |
| They have cut off the access roads to the airport for people who want to get out. | |
| Effectively creating probably the largest hostage situation. | |
| Anywhere ever, perhaps. | |
| And apparently that does not violate the rules. | |
| So when Donald Trump put out a couple of mean tweets, it's off the platform. | |
| The leader of the free world, even while still president, was not allowed to have a platform on Twitter, but a terrorist organization. | |
| That has done all of the things that I mentioned above. | |
| Let's not even talk about what they're doing to some of the guys that are in Afghanistan right now that were helping American soldiers. | |
| I've heard about them burning their DOD IDs into their chests while then killing their families before killing the individuals to make sure they really suffered. | |
| That apparently does not violate Twitter's rules. | |
| So as long as they don't tweet anything mean, they can kill, rape, pillage, Do atrocities like you cannot imagine, and they're just fine. | |
| A meme tweet, even if it happens to be accurate, that'll get them thrown off the platform. | |
| You can't make this stuff up, folks. | |
