| Okay, guys. Well, it turns out the CIA, I guess, was woke all along. | |
| That may not come as much of a surprise, but the Central Intelligence Agency just put out this video. | |
| You must watch it. | |
| And then I'm going to come back and give you my commentary on it because this is ridiculous. | |
| I mean, this is like what you'd get if you had a bunch of woke millennials actually recruiting and working at the CIA, in which case we are in serious trouble. | |
| And China and Russia and our enemies are laughing their asses off. | |
| For example, a couple of quotes in the CIA recruitment ad. | |
| I am a woman of color. | |
| I think that's wonderful. I don't know what it has to do with recruiting in the CIA. I am a cisgendered millennial. | |
| I'm intersectional. | |
| Um, guys. | |
| If this is what we've got to offer, we're in a lot of trouble. | |

| I am a cisgender millennial who's been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. | |
| I am intersectional, but my existence is not a box-checking exercise. | |
| I am a walking declaration, a woman whose inflection does not rise at the end of her sentences, suggesting that a question has been asked. | |
| Okay. So what do you think? | |
| It's so bad. | |
| I mean, someone on Twitter wrote sort of an interesting quote. | |
| I thought it was pretty funny. He goes, the CIA, we're so desperate that we may even hire losers like you. | |
| I mean, what else are you doing? | |
| Getting angry with people on Twitter? | |
| If you're going to be a loser, be a loser at the CIA. And that's sort of what it screams to me. | |
| I mean, that they go through this thing, making sure that people don't think that you're like a diversity hire, that you're not checking off some box. | |
| Man, it seems like they're going through and checking a lot of boxes off, right? | |
| I mean, look at the part at 1 minute and 18 seconds in. | |
| The Intelligence Community Equal Opportunity and Diversity 2019 Exemptional Service Award. | |
| I mean, are we giving separate awards for those who do fit some sort of category? | |
| And what does that have to do with the CIA? Why do you make that a point? | |
| Does it scream to you as it does to me that you're basically saying, hey, you're not the best of the best, but you're the best of the people that check off a bunch of woke categories? | |
| I mean, that seems crazy to me. | |
| I would have thought that you literally couldn't join the CIA if you had an anxiety disorder. | |
| I mean, that would make a lot of sense to me. | |
| When you have a quote in there that says, my existence is not a box checking exercise, but then the person proceeds to tell you each box that they check Isn't that an issue? | |
| I don't even know what to do other than, you know, I would love to be a fly on the wall at KGB headquarters, not as a spy, but to see them snorting coffee out through their nose as they're laughing about what's going on at the people of the front lines of our intelligence community. | |
| How is this possible? | |
| How is it possible that this is real? | |
| Not a single word about patriotism or dedication to the United States. | |
| No, no, no. Now, I've got an anxiety disorder and I can still work at the CIA. Isn't that phenomenal, guys? | |
| Imagine what happens when all these new, like, woke CIA recruits decide what they're doing is wrong and they start petitioning to effect policy changes at the CIA. You think this is going to be good for our intelligence community? | |
| Or do you think you're going to have a bunch of people leaking information to our enemies, to the media, To anyone that'll listen, I mean, this stuff is so ridiculous. | |
| It's so scary. | |
| And honestly, guys, it should disgust us. | |
| The fact that all of these woke agencies, whether it's now the CIA, the FBI, you notice the people at the top, there's no pro-America sentiment. | |
| They are just the wokest people. | |
| They're the biggest bureaucrats. | |
| They don't have any of America's interests at heart, in my opinion. | |
| This is what's going on at our leadership in government. | |
| This is Democrat policy taking into effect. | |
| You're going to have the wokest, least aggressive, most sort of crybaby snowflakes at leadership in the CIA. And we're going to lose our position as the leader of the free world while others lap us and laugh their asses off, guys. Enough is enough. | |
| How is this even possible? | |
| And since when does diversity mean something you have to highlight to the extent that you're literally making it seem like someone wouldn't be qualified? | |
| This may be the most qualified person in the world, and yet when you watch that video, you're saying, hmm, I wonder. | |
| Whatever happened to just hiring the best? | |
| Not having to go through the checklist. | |
| Just hire the best person for the job and leave it alone. | |
| When you start doing this, you take away from those who actually deserve to be in those positions. | |
| Whatever they may be. | |
| Cisgendered, Latino, whatever. | |
| I don't think anyone cares. | |
| Neither should anyone else. | |
| We want the best people on the front line of defense. | |
| And I don't care who that person is. | |
| I just want them to be the best. | |
| When you do this, it makes me and a lot of other people wonder if we're actually getting the best. | |
| And that's the problem with it. | |
| This person could be the best, but this video makes it seem to me and many others that they're not. |
