| It will come as a major shock to all of you, but the defund the police movement seems to be failing. | |
| It is seemingly being replaced with a refund the police. | |
| Now, I don't know who could have seen this coming. | |
| I have no idea who could have predicted that cutting police budgets would lead to increased crime in major cities across America. | |
| Who could have possibly imagined that that would be the end result of cutting police budgets, forcing good cops into early retirement? | |
| But this is exactly what's happened. | |
| LA County wants to increase their police budget by 36 million because of a large spike in crime after the defund the police movement took place. | |
| I'm shocked. | |
| I had no idea. | |
| I mean, getting rid of the police that are patrolling areas that are infested with crime, I can't imagine that that was not effective. | |
| How stupid are these people? | |
| Last year the radical left convinced so many Americans that the problem in some of these urban communities where there were high crime areas was actually the police and not criminals. | |
| And morons and even morons on the right went along with it because they were too afraid to be called a name. | |
| They were too afraid To be called something terrible that has nothing to do with the conversation at hand, for not blindly going along with something that any moron, frankly, any kindergartner could tell you would not be a winning strategy. | |
| You see it continuing to this day. | |
| New York City is trying to revoke the immunity for police so they can be sued personally and individually. | |
| That's going to drive good cops into early retirement because they're not taking that risk. | |
| to do their jobs. If you speak to cops in New York City, they're already telling you, hey, crime numbers aren't down. | |
| We're just being told not to enforce the laws anymore, not to arrest people for doing things that they would have been arrested at any other time. | |
| And that gives Democrat politicians the ability to say, no, no, no, crime is down when it very clearly Isn't. | |
| So, you see this movement happening. | |
| You see it happening in Minneapolis, where they wanted to increase their budget by $6.4 million. | |
| Houston wants to up their budget because crime is going through the roof. | |
| Portland's own mayor, the arsonist of some of these riots, and the original person encouraging some of this stuff, is calling for an increase in police budgets and wants more police on the streets because their idiocy has not worked. | |
| Again, folks, the inmates are now running the asylum. | |
| The arsonists are calling the fire department. | |
| And anyone with a brain could have actually seen this coming. | |
| But because the left doesn't have a brain, because they go and follow nonsense talking points like sheep, You had that spike in crime that probably forced more businesses to leave that will be a blight on many of these communities for years to come because people aren't going to go back when they know they can't live there safely. | |
| Stop being stupid. | |
| Stop blindly following it. | |
| Stop worrying about that the left's going to call you a name and therefore you have to do something that you know is absolutely asinine because you don't have to do it. | |
| You can think for yourself because that's the wonderful thing about living in America. |
