Time Text
Alright guys, this is sort of one, again, I wouldn't normally opine on, but since it's sort of spiraling totally out of control, I'm going to talk about it.
This is going to be the Sharon Osbourne-Piers Morgan controversy for the Meghan Markle nonsense story.
You know, Piers, you know, essentially off his show now, and now they're trying to cancel Sharon Osbourne, and they put her show on hold for defending Piers Morgan.
Now, why am I getting involved in this?
Because those of you who may be longtime Apprentice fans, both of them.
Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne were on The Apprentice.
I got to know them.
I got to spend time with them.
These are decent people.
They're good people. And again, if you've been watching Piers for the last year, you know, he doesn't just, you know, throw out good stuff about Trump.
I mean, a lot of it's negative.
If I wanted to, I could probably do the try to cancel Piers Morgan thing, but I got to call balls and strikes and I'm not going to cancel someone just because I disagree with them politically on certain things.
In this case, He's 100% right and we're going to call it.
So he got in trouble on his show for saying he didn't believe Meghan Markle.
That made him a racist in today's world, right?
You didn't believe someone that said they didn't know who the freaking Prince of England was.
You didn't know. They didn't Google him.
He didn't believe that.
He didn't believe that she was shocked that there would be a lot of press following him around when she joined as a member of the royal family.
Shocking! She just wanted to be left alone, so she went on to Oprah in front of 50 million somewhat people.
So he didn't believe that.
Now, he got in trouble.
He owned it. He stuck to his guns.
That's what we gotta do, guys.
Don't let cancel culture cancel you.
Don't do the fake apologies.
We've seen that happen, too.
Guess what? It doesn't get you anything.
Stick to your guns when you're right.
He didn't do anything racist.
Then Sharon Osborne, CBS over in, I guess, the UK, yanked her show, The Talk, while it investigates the scandal of her defending Piers Morgan.
Someone that she knows because he was accused of being racist.
So you can't defend, in today's society, you can't defend your friend, who you know, Maybe.
You know that he's probably not a racist.
You can't defend someone because someone else accused him with no actual words.
There was nothing that he said.
But because he didn't believe Meghan Markle, he was deemed a racist by someone, that is enough to get you to be canceled if you defend that person.
So there's no due process.
There's no trial.
There's no anything. You're just cancelled because some person decided to call Piers Morgan a racist.
Therefore, in today's society, that's it.
You're out. You're a racist.
You're cancelled. You're done.
This is insane. I literally wrote a tweet about it.
I just said, this is getting insane.
Now other shows are being pulled off the air because someone who actually knows someone else doesn't believe they're racist simply because someone else accused them of it with no basis simply because he didn't believe someone else.
That's exactly what this is, guys.
There are people on Twitter right now who hate Piers Morgan that are saying like, oh man, I hate Piers Morgan with a passion.
I can't stand the guy.
And yet we got to defend him.
This can't happen anymore.
When is enough enough?
When is this BS going to stop?
When is it gonna stop?
You're investigating someone for defending your friend because you two have an opinion that he may not be racist just because someone else with no actual facts or evidence says he is because he didn't believe a ridiculous, asinine story, you know, put on Oprah with things that, you know, I don't know, half the world probably says, okay, she's probably full of it with the examples I gave earlier.
Give me a break, folks.
Enough is enough.
Don't let this stuff happen.
Don't let it happen.
You gotta push back. You gotta call out the BS. You gotta be vocal.
Or it's gonna keep happening, and one day it's gonna happen to you.
For doing nothing other than not being loud enough about something that is nonsense that someone else said based on absolutely nothing.
That's where we're at today, folks.
