| Guys, it's time to open our schools now. | |
| It's getting ridiculous and we've been sold a bill of goods under pseudoscience totally manipulated by the teachers' unions. | |

| We can't afford to destroy their educations. | |
| Getting our schools open safely and effectively. | |
| This is a national emergency. | |
| I'd be working with the leaders of Congress now, today, to pass emergency packages for schools so they have the resources they need in order to be able to open safely. | |
| It's been almost a year since schools shut down because of the pandemic. | |
| And this is still what they look like today. | |
| Empty. Where is Joe Biden? | |
| He's so passive. | |
| You can't just say open up the schools and then go hide in the oval. | |
| You got the teacher union and the Democratic leadership in bed with each other. | |
| And bottom line is, they care about power and control. | |
| This is the same teacher union that do not want school choice. | |
| School choice is the key to break the poverty cycle. | |
| For so many poor children, and in so many communities of color, it's unacceptable. | |
| These are the kids for whom school matters the most, and they're being deprived of it. | |
| They are really hurting and destroying these kids. | |
| It took years to get him to a place of success, and now, in one year, damn it! | |
| If your child doesn't do math and reading on grade level by grade four, The prison system is already tracking those numbers and they take those statistics and they decide how many beds they're going to need in three years based on that number. | |
| A quarter of students learning from home during the first grading period failed two or more classes. | |
| By grade four, the reason that's a metric is because anything past that school accelerates at that point. | |
| You start going into the middle years and by then kids are so far behind that they'll just drop out. | |
| Those same politicians who took nearly a million dollars from the teachers union lobbied the Chicago mayor to keep schools closed. | |
| Obviously she's the head of the CDC, but we're going to wait for the final guidance to come out so we can use that as a guide for schools around the country. | |
| But the CDC director says while vaccinating teachers is important, schools can safely reopen before teachers get their shots. | |
| The new CDC report says it's safe to reopen schools after months of COVID closures, with or without vaccinating teachers. | |
| How are you going to do over the loss of social interaction, the developmental loss of these children? | |
| Do you have any idea the numbers we're seeing in suicide increases among high school kids, drug use increases? | |
| Books will be written, papers will be presented years from now about a lost generation. |
