Guys, let's talk about hypocrisy on social media and the censorship of conservatives.
So this was something that was pointed out to me by the guys at Recoil Magazine.
You know, obviously I'm a big Second Amendment guy.
I think you all know that. If you don't like it, I'm sorry.
You gotta deal with it. I believe in freedom.
But more importantly, this is about sort of the censorship of conservatives and the way That there is not an objective standard put forth when either fact checking, analyzing things, or whatnot.
So Recoil Magazine sent me this thing.
I saw the post. They tagged me in it.
And they lined up two quotes.
They actually took a sort of old famous quote that was then jumbled.
And they attributed one to Joe Biden and one to Donald Trump.
And they posted them to see what would happen.
The quote was, you know, a take, again, it was just a word salad based on all of the words of that old saying.
Remember, it's sort of a conservative mantra, you know.
Give a man a fish he eats for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime.
It's sort of an allegory, a little story about self-sufficiency and getting people to the point where they're self-sufficient.
But what they did was they jumbled up the words, right?
And then they did a post attributed to Donald Trump and a post attributed to Joe Biden.
They said, buy a man, eat fish, he day, teach fish man to a lifetime.
That's what they turned it into.
And they attributed one to Donald Trump and one to Joe Biden.
The exact same word salad, just different attribution.
Guess which one was fact check as being incorrect?
Yeah, the one for Joe Biden was fact-checked as being incorrect.
The Donald Trump one was left alone.
Now, mind you, they were both incorrect.
They were both not right.
They were not attributed to those people.
They were not something that those people ever said.
They're not either of those people using the original quote about teaching a man to fish.
None of it. It was just a word salad.
But the one that made Donald Trump look like he has marbles in his mouth, Like Joe Biden so often does.
That was left alone as though it was real.
That was left out there in the ether for everyone to assume maybe he did say that.
Huh. Maybe there's something wrong.
Now the one with Joe Biden where you actually probably wouldn't be surprised if he did screw up the quote that bad given his general level of incompetence in terms of getting his words out and articulating them well.
It wouldn't surprise you, but that one was instantly fact-checked.
Check out the pictures.
I'm going to post them up throughout this post because it's the perfect example.
The exact same thing for the exact same sort of level of people.
Only one side gets the fact check.
Only one side is tried to be made whole.
By the fact checkers.
And that's the problem with the system.
When you're playing on an uneven playing field, it really sort of sucks.
So check it out. I think you'll appreciate it.
Thanks to the guys at Recoil for posting it.
Because it's important to get it out, and it's important for us to all understand the amount of crap that we are up against as conservatives.
