| Guys, today we're going to talk gas prices because they're going through the roof. | |
| Listen, I got to be honest. | |
| You guys obviously know my background and you know my family. | |
| And therefore you understand if I'm sitting at the pump and I say, wow, that's a big difference. | |
| That changed. | |
| If Donald Trump Jr. | |
| notices that, imagine what everyone else in America is experiencing. | |
| I mean, you know, I know and I recognize that I'm blessed and I'm fortunate to come from a wealthy family. | |
| And if I'm sitting there being like, man, that's a pretty significant difference. | |
| That's a pretty big change. | |
| Imagine what it's doing to just a hard working class family when they go to the pump and you've seen in some cases, you know, 35 cents a gallon change in the last couple of weeks alone. | |
| I saw some stat that said the national average was down to about $2.10 a gallon around in November. | |
| Where is it now? | |
| Like I said, if Donald Trump Jr. | |
| is shocked and has a little bit of a sticker shock, and I do think about these sorts of things, you know, imagine what the average family making fifty, sixty, seventy thousand dollars a year feels when they go to the pump. | |
| Imagine what that does to small businesses that rely on delivery. | |
| And this is all because everyone knows what the Biden administration is going to be trying to doing to energy. | |
| You see that. They'll shut down our pipelines. | |
| And understanding that gas pipelines may not have anything to do with fuel prices, but energy in general, if you're limiting that, it creates a problem. | |
| It creates price increases, right? | |
| So when Joe Biden kills your jobs, eliminates American pipelines, by the way, has no problem with Russian pipelines, it seems. | |
| There's no problem with the Nord Stream 2 pipelines from Russia to go into Europe. | |
| The same European countries that get the benefit of that, like Germany, want us to pay for their protection through NATO to save them from the Russians who they're going to be giving billions of dollars to in these pipelines. | |
| Joe Biden doesn't have a problem with that. | |
| I wonder if Hunter's on the board of Nord Stream 2. | |
| Maybe that's the quid pro quo. | |
| I don't know. I'm not saying it, but it would sound very familiar and it wouldn't surprise me even in the least at this point. | |
| But guys, watch what's going on. | |
| These policies, they are a tax on you. | |
| They are a tax on the hardworking men and women in this country where that makes a difference. | |
| And when those numbers go through the roof, it puts serious, serious Restrictions on your ability to spend on other things, on being able to take care of your family. | |
| Watch it because it's only just begun. | |
| Don't forget, we're like 40 days into this presidency and you're already seeing a significant price increase. | |
| Again, enough where the son of a billionaire is like, man, that's kind of a difference. | |
| That's kind of a big deal. | |
| I get that. I understand the irony. | |
| I understand everything about it. | |
| You don't need to tell me how privileged I am. | |
| I get it. Trust me, it's 2021. | |
| I hear it every day. | |
| And I'm not even disagreeing with it. | |
| I get that I've been blessed incredibly. | |
| But if I'm noticing it and it's sticking out in my mind, imagine what it's doing to the average American. |
