Guys, Joe Biden just got dealt a big L. He took a big loss and actually came from a Democrat.
Amazingly enough, his appointee, Joe Biden's appointee for the Office of Management and Budget, Neera Tanden, was shut down by none other than Democrat Senator Joe Manchin.
Now, Joe is from West Virginia, so I imagine the Democrats there still have a little bit more sense than like the California and New York Democrats.
These are still people that are probably working class, hardworking, blue-collar Democrats, so that's probably why he did that.
But this is a woman that has gone as far as calling Mitch McConnell Voldemort, just toxic and partisan tweets, so many of them That she had to take down.
She got in a fight with Bernie Sanders and his supporters online calling them all sorts of ridiculous things.
So this is the kind of partisan hacks That Joe Biden's appointing and nominating.
Joe Biden's not actually going to even pull the nomination.
He's going to try to probably extort that vote out of someone else on the Republican side to get this partisan in there.
But OMB is like a serious thing, right?
They got to deal with both sides of the aisle.
They got to deal with budgets, with money and trillions of dollars.
If you put someone in there that is such a flagrant partisan, someone that clearly hates the other side and all of their followers, how is that person going to work and reach across the aisle?
It doesn't work.
It won't happen. So it's nice to see that there's still at least one Democrat in Congress that has a little bit of common sense, that has a little bit of rationale.
And you know what, guys?
I call balls and strikes.
I gotta give Joe Manchin credit for doing the right thing and preventing a partisan hack From getting into office.
We can't have people that are supposed to be working across the aisle have that kind of toxic relationship with the other side.
When you see the tweets, when you see some of the commentary that was made, you'll realize this isn't just someone arguing on Twitter, having some fun.
This is someone that fundamentally hates the other side.
The only problem is the other side is about half of the country.
Probably be more if the information wasn't being manipulated in terms of what they see.
And if they saw what these people, if the news media did their jobs and showed what these people were all about, if they showed the intense level of hatred and partisanship rather than covering it up.
You know they'd do it if it was a Trump guy.
You know they would do it if it was a Trump nomination.
But when it's a Biden nomination, all of the negative gets swept under the rug, just like all the other lies.
