Something I saw this week, which, on a positive note, because, you know, people think that failure is, and things going wrong, is a terrible thing.
And, you know, it can be.
Yes, it can be.
And that you basically have to give up then because Well, you know, I've failed.
But it's not failure that stops you.
It's giving up when you fail.
Because the more that you try and you seek To do it again and do it again.
That failure becomes experience.
And if you use it right, it becomes determination, which eventually gets you to where you want to go.
And that kind of thought struck me this week when I saw this video.
This is a girl hurdler.
And they start off, and then she falls at something like the very early first hurdle, second hurdle.
And everyone else is running past her.
Now, you would think, because I mean, what is a hurdle race?
A hundred meters or something like that?
It's very quick.
And you think, well, she'd just get up and say, oh God, failed, hit the bloody hurdle and that stuff.
She didn't.
She gets up.
And she wins.
And that, it was such a fantastic portrayal of just because things go wrong doesn't mean they can't go right if you don't give up.
Have a look at this.
That's no, but you say yes.
Don't let the negativity take over, do your best.
The road you're paving causes feelings that are hard to express.
But I promise you that at the end lies the success.
Your chest is heavy, all the burdens you carry.
I'm slowly taking a tone on your mental inside.
I want you to give me a promise and you to truly be honest.
That giving up is never going to be what you decide.
I know that you've been running your whole life.
Walking through the darkness with practically no light.
Feeling depressed, under pressure, a low life.
Like there's no one to help you to get through all the cold nights.
Look in the mirror, tell me what do you see?
Oppressed and climbing to the absolute peak.
Don't need excuses, cause you are now weak.
So chain up and be the very best you can be!
Yeah, I saw that online this week as well and it's amazing because so many people, as soon as they're faced with any kind of challenge, they just give up or they think, actually that's not for me and go and do something else.
But anything that actually means something in life generally takes a bit of dedication and a bit of hard work and it's not always plain sailing, whatever that is.
So, it's a good lesson to learn.
Yeah, and often people give up when success is just around the corner, but they've just given up before they get there.
I mean, when you think of my life in the 1990s, when I could walk down any street in Britain without being laughed at, And you see how that's transformed on a vast scale since then.
Because you keep going.
You don't give up.
You know, this arena that we're in is not for weak minds and it's not for jelly backbones.
It's for people that won't give up, no matter what the The pressure to give up and the disappointments you have, you keep going and eventually you get somewhere.
One thing's for sure, if you don't keep going, you're going to get nowhere.
Yeah, absolutely.
100%.
And with what's coming, if we don't make a difference, giving up is certainly not an option.
Well, stiff backbones is going to be an essential part of human life in what's coming.
There's a lot of things that I've said over the years which were perceived to be crazy.
and then suddenly they start to move mainstream.
I'm waiting for someone to convince me that we don't live in a simulation.
What is real?
How do you define real?
If you're talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, taste and see, then real is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain.
