On right now this week, the Canadian journalist, activist and filmmaker Josh Sigurdsson joins me in the studio.
We talk about Trudeau, Ukraine, the madness of the last two years and the role of the alternative media.

Josh, welcome to the Right Now studio.
It's great to meet you in person.
I'm normally looking at you on that screen over there.
Oh, it's brilliant. I love being here.
It's a beautiful set you have here.
It's great to have that professionalism in independent media.
Yeah, I found that that's something that me and my brother spoke about it at the time that a lot of people throw at the alternative media is just, oh, it's a YouTube video or it's just done on Zoom or Skype.
So to try and make it look a bit more professional.
So, first of all, you're Canadian.
I don't know if anyone's ever told you that.
You're a Canadian.
What do you think about Trudeau and what's happened to the country of your birth over the last couple of years?
I've seen it coming for a long time.
I went after Stephen Harper before Justin Trudeau.
Everyone knew for years before Justin Trudeau was Prime Minister that he would be Canada's Obama.
That he would be this establishment figure that would pretend to be anti-establishment.
We'll get in and push the New World Order agenda, the technocracy agenda, the transhumanist agenda, which he didn't waste a single day doing the second he was in office.
He ran as fast as he could to try and push forward crazy new policies.
I should point out Kind of like Joe Biden in the US, there's no way he's writing his own policies.
I doubt the guy can even tie his shoe.
But with that said, he was the perfect face for the establishment because for years, even rather intelligent people would say, yeah, well, I just like him.
He seems like a nice guy.
He's the kind of guy I want to get a beer with.
Look at his haircut, all that kind of stuff.
And he was a perfect person to put in that place.
Now, very few people like him.
When I confronted him in 2017, and I Famously called him a scumbag, mostly because he winked and smirked at me after I asked him a very serious question.
And at that time, the government had come up to me and told me what questions to ask him, which I wasn't in favor of.
I like to sleep at night. At that time, when I confronted him, everyone loved him so much that I couldn't walk down the street.
People threw sandwiches at windows at me.
A guy punched me. People were spitting on my shoes when I'd walk down the street.
I couldn't go anywhere. One of the main reasons I ended up leaving Canada was that and exposing a child trafficking ring back in 2017-2018.
And at that point, it was too dangerous for me to go anywhere.
He got a restraining order against me and I had to hightail it out of Canada.
So I left early on.
I'm happy I did. It was one of the best things I ever did was getting out of Canada.
Great Canadians out there, but that country needs to fall.
It cannot be saved.
And it's absolutely pathetic what's come of it.
It is basically much like Australia and New Zealand.
It has fallen into the hands of the globalists to such a degree that 90% of people will beg and protest for their own enslavement.
When they got rid of mask mandates at one point initially in 2021, before they brought them back inevitably, which they will again, people were protesting in the streets that they wanted their masks back.
I mean, this is the level that Canada has gotten to.
I've been recently pleased by seeing the truck convoy protests there, but I knew it wasn't going to work.
The same thing was tried in Italy back in 2021 when the ports of Trieste were shut down and all these dock workers spoke out against vaccine mandates and they ended up stopping the supply chain for some time, which also plays into the establishment.
And they were arrested and replaced.
And so I assumed that that would happen in Canada.
And now they have all these new autonomous vehicles coming in to replace human drivers.
It all fits into the New World Order technocratic agenda.
So, honestly, Canada is a write-off in a lot of ways.
The people aren't, but the country is.
And I don't think there's any saving it personally.
That's my take on it.
I've lived in Mexico for two years and for almost three years before that I lived in Las Vegas.
So I try not to spend much time in Canada.
It's depressing to be there and it's sad to watch these robots that call themselves humans and how they react to tyranny.
It's sickening. Watching Trudeau, I must admit, hypocrisy is something that It eats at me.
And so to watch him stand up and say, you know, I stand with the freedoms of the Ukrainian people without a hint of irony was insane.
What is your take on what's happening in Ukraine at the moment?
Well, in Ukraine, I think this is the perfect agenda for the Great Reset.
People... Rightly call out Zelensky, who is obviously a murderer and obviously on par with dictatorship.
The US overthrew the government in 2014 and installed puppets.
So there's no doubt about that.
But then people rush to then say that Putin must be a good guy.
Well, Putin is one of the biggest allies of Israel.
He's one of the biggest allies of China.
What's happening in Ukraine right now has absolutely nothing to do, at the end of the day, with Russia and Ukraine.
I feel bad for the people on the ground, and I'm trying to get there right now, actually, in the next week or so.
But the reality is this is about China.
This whole thing has always been about the new world digital currency system.
They'll switch to what they call the special drawing rights at the IMF and replace the global currencies with a basket of currencies based on a social credit score, based on vaccine passes, carbon credits, etc.
And so when I see what they're doing in Ukraine, I figure that this is the move from one establishment to another.
I feel as though the U.S. is in on them being replaced by this new system.
It'll seem like Russia, but it'll be China, it'll be Israel, it'll be these globalist systems that will replace an old system with a new one and gain order out of chaos.
At the end of the day, The currency system is collapsing, and they have to move into the next step on the ladder.
And for a long time, I think they have kind of pushed this divisive tactic in the media.
In Britain, you had the Tavistock Institute.
In the U.S., you had Operation Mockingbird.
The idea is to divide people against each other by throwing things into the media, manipulating the minds of the masses, and then figuring out how to build the future based on the reaction of people.
It's psychological practices.
And I believe now that everyone is divided over the vaccines, now they'll fraction that off more and divide people over war.
And people become very patriotic if their city is being bombed.
The same people who hated the Ukraine government a few months ago that lived in Ukraine are now fighting for it.
So, I mean, I honestly think this is the perfect agenda for them and we will end up with a global digital currency system being pulled out of the rubble of this chaos that they are creating and, you know, they're very proud of it.
When I saw that the Israeli government asked Zelensky to surrender, it all clicked in my head.
I knew there was some kind of globalist agenda happening But it clicked.
This isn't just a distraction from the COVID hysteria and tyranny over the last few years.
This is the move into the New World Order.
They want Ukraine to surrender because it's this bastion for the Western globalists, and it's a move into the Chinese New World Order system.
I think we have a very short amount of time to act on this.
And that's why I wanted to go to Ukraine.
It's because I want to see for myself on the ground what's actually happening.
And I realize it's dangerous.
In fact, it's probably pretty stupid.
But, you know, I just don't trust anything I read online or see online or in the media.
And the only way to find out is to go to the site yourself and see.
100%. So many of the things that have come out of Ukraine, visually, have since then proved to be complete nonsense.
So you'd be right to do that.
I think when I see people in the West, particularly, that are kind of pushing for war, they're pushing for Britain to get involved.
I keep seeing it all the time.
Same with America. It's because perhaps with the First World War and Second World War, we won that.
We win world wars and I don't think they realise that should it go to a Third World War, it's not a war we're meant to win because China, as you mentioned, is the blueprint.
I'm just trying to get your thoughts on this because you've been doing this for a long time.
You've been travelling around, meeting people.
What do you think it is psychologically that allows people to have seen through COVID, to see through the narrative completely, that have now been completely sucked in by Russia and Ukraine?
I know many of these people and I can't quite figure it out.
Yeah. Well, I would say that it's like going for a very long run, and you've succeeded that run.
You got to the end. And then someone says, OK, now you have to do the run again.
People use too much energy on these things.
They wake up to this. It's shattered their whole perspective on the world.
And then for it to be replaced by another thing that they now have to learn about.
People are lazy. Let's be honest.
We've entered into a very coddled culture over the last hundred years.
And since World War II, basically, people have become more and more coddled and more and more spoiled.
Because tyranny comes under the guise of convenience.
So what we've seen is people have bent a knee to the system because they can't imagine having to...
Well, the latter is these people that take care of me, that mind my life.
They are evil and they're trying to kill me.
People don't want to imagine that.
Now, once they finally figure that one out, then they're told, well, now you'll be charged with treason.
If you go against this new narrative, they're trying to slap people in the face and push them down and destroy their hope.
I think one of the biggest things this whole agenda has been around is replacing humanity.
It's a Tower of Babel. They are trying to destroy what it means to be human.
And with that, they are trying to destroy the soul.
They're trying to destroy hope left in people.
And Hopium is a very dangerous thing, but we have to understand that good overcomes evil eventually.
And no matter how bad it's going to get before it gets better, we will win this one eventually.
But with that said, we have a tough road to go down and some people have to just swallow their pride a bit and understand that we are walking into the mouth of the beast here.
And yes, we are tired and we have fatigue from what we've been dealing with for the last two years now.
To move from that into this new system, another big problem, another multiple-year scenario where life is terrible, that is something that a lot of people don't want to have to understand, but that is where we're going.
And the sooner we understand that and prepare for that, the better we will feel.
Those of us who were prepared for the plandemic, We're prepared enough to make certain arrangements in our lives to make sure that the last two years weren't as terrible for us.
I went to 21 countries now since March 2020.
I never got a test. I never got a jab.
How did you do that? Because I was going to ask you that.
Yeah, well, so there are very difficult ways around this.
In fact, right now, going to Ukraine, I'm supposed to be in Poland right now, well, technically Ukraine.
I was going to Warsaw and then going in, and they had a bunch of restrictions.
They were talking about three tests.
I haven't taken a test yet.
I will not get a test, and I will not get a jab.
So I had to sacrifice going into a war zone because I don't want to take a test.
People are like, ah, you wimp.
Why didn't you... Well, I'm going into a war zone.
I'm not a wimp. I just don't want to sacrifice my principles.
For example, going into the US, you're supposed to be jabbed and tested, which tells you a lot about the jab and the test.
And they didn't ask.
No one asked. I just went in.
No one said anything. I went to Iceland from there, and Iceland has zero restrictions.
So I went there and no one asked.
And I was supposed to be asked getting into Scotland recently.
Nobody asked. I've just been going into these places.
No one asks. It's hilarious.
I think it's more fear, more bark than bite, as they would say.
I've been able to get into Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, Germany, Egypt.
I could go on and on and on.
I've never really had much of a problem.
I've had a few cases of having to cancel flights.
Last moment because I couldn't get on.
But generally speaking, I haven't had any issues.
The way that they program and rule people is by fear.
And most of the time, they don't have the resources to actually bite.
They can only bark. So that's what I've found traveling around the world.
It's much like the UK when you drive down the street and there's speed cameras everywhere and about 90% of them don't even have cameras in them.
It's a little bit like that. Yeah, absolutely.
A lot of police officers, if you'll see carrying guns in the streets, don't have bullets in those guns.
It's something that I've learned a long time ago.
The reality is, if you can scare people, and this is one of the ways that they program us today with social media, the new social credit system already exists.
It's Facebook. It's these big social media companies.
What it does is we end up being programmed by those social media companies to self-censor, to worry about groupthink.
We don't think of success.
We think of pleasing other people's senses and emotions, and that translates into real life.
So they program us in such a way that we already have this subtle social credit system where we don't want to upset the crowd.
So if they can get a bunch of people to blindly follow something, whether they believe in that thing or not, they blindly follow it because it's the rules, Then you will get a bunch of people as a collective to shame other people, even if they don't know what they're shaming them over.
And for that reason, you end up with a bunch of people afraid to speak out, afraid to do things.
Every day I meet people who are awake who say, I don't want to talk about this publicly because I'm going to be ostracized from my family.
Well, what kind of family members do you have if you can't...
Speak your truth. If you can't be the human being you are, the basis of humanity is responsibility.
It's truth. It's self-acknowledgement.
It's well-being. And if we're going to give all that up in our principles because we might upset someone, well then, you know, what are we doing on Earth as a human being if we're not going to stand up for what makes humanity great?
Exactly. It doesn't make any sense.
So true. Exactly.
What role do you think now that the...
I mean, I don't even like the term...
Alternative media now because I feel like we've almost just replaced it in a way because the media is just a mouthpiece for the state and it always has been but it's not even hiding it now.
So what do you think the future holds for people I guess like yourselves and like ourselves?
Well, first I'll say I think it will be good if they don't off us before at that time, which is very likely as well, to be entirely honest.
But again, that's a fear tactic and they try to get us paranoid about such things so that we don't do our own thing.
I envision a time where I change it from world alternative media to world accepted I don't know.
I can't change the WAM. That'll be a mess.
That's annoying. You need to get new graphics.
Yeah, I'm going to have to do a lot of work on that.
But, you know, it'll be all for the better.
I do think we will get to that time.
We've seen it. That's why they have to censor us so much.
I mean, the level of censorship and how much it's failed.
It's like when I was kicked off of YouTube in October of 2020 for medical misinformation, I went on BitChute, Odyssey, Rumble, Brighton, all these different websites and I'm reaching more people now than I was when I was kicked off YouTube.
Actually, going back, the way they kind of rolled this out was in February of 2019, I interviewed your father, and I went from 45,000 to 65,000 viewers a video, and I was doing three or four a day, down to 2,500 a day.
They saw that and they cut me off.
Which, honestly, in a roundabout sort of way, it was one of the best things that happened.
It moved from that to kicking anyone off that puts even cute cat videos up.
They kicked one guy off because his cat looked like Hitler, so they arrested him for hate.
It is going in that direction, but that's out of desperation because they want to scare people out of speaking.
They can't exactly stop everyone from speaking, though they'll try.
They will just make people afraid to speak out, and for that reason, they'll take away their money, their revenue, everything, so that they are left feeling hopeless and they just give in to the system.
I know a lot of people in independent media that have fallen for this.
I won't name names, but there's people out there that we all know very well that just went, you know what?
I'm going to self-censor.
I'm not going to talk about these things too upfront because instead of using the word vaccine, I'll use some other name or word so the AI doesn't get me.
That's pathetic, in my opinion, and that is falling for that system.
We need to speak out and be upfront and truthful.
That is what people will respect in 10, 15, 20 years.
And we will be further vindicated.
As we've seen in the last two years, the amount of vindication that's come in is absolutely enormous.
And that's going to continue to happen.
And if you build it, they will come.
I think eventually, with looking at how bankrupt all these mainstream medias are, they have to be replaced.
And people need information from somewhere.
And it's all about being the loudest voice and sticking to your guns and continuing to speak out no matter what people tell you otherwise.
Absolutely. Well, you're not going to shut up and neither are we.
Yeah, absolutely. Never, never.
It's great to chat properly.
I want to be able to sleep at night and the idea of not speaking out, I only do all this because my legs start moving in the morning and I can't help it.
It's just the way it is.
I didn't set out to do this.
I'm just doing it because the alternative is doing nothing and I can't sleep at night that way.
That's not an option. No, not an option.
