The greatest thing I have ever heard in my whole life.
I could not believe my ears.
In this house, wherever the rules are disregarded, chaos and mob rule.
It has been said today, where is bravery?
I'll tell you where bravery is found and courage is found.
It's found in this minority who has lived through the last year of nothing but rules being broken, people being put down, questions not being answered, and this majority say, be damned with anything else.
We're going to impeach and do whatever we want to do.
Why?
Because we won an election.
I guarantee you, one day you'll be back in the minority and it ain't gonna be that fun.
Hey everybody, welcome back to the Doug Collins Podcast.
Glad to have you with us today.
Today we're going to dive a little deeper.
I promise on Monday we'll dive a little deeper into the Israel situation and some of the stuff that's going on and also the connection back to the United States.
There's a lot of people that still have You know, the doubts about where we are in the world.
And I understand that.
If somebody's been in the military for 22 years in the Air Force and been in Iraq and been in places, this idea of us always having to be the one to go sort of be the world's policeman is something that I'm not a fan of.
We're also at a certain point in time, we do as the main superpower in the world.
Now, we do have China growing as a peer, and Russia not so much, but China in particular.
This is all something we have to deal with.
It's part of being, you know, to whom, I'll go back to the old biblical terminology, that whom much is given, much is required.
And I think that's going to be the situation that we go forward to.
So I'm going to give also a little bit of reasoning this morning why I'm concerned about we've got to do a better job on the border.
We've got to do a better job in this world security as we go forward.
But right after the break, we'll come back.
We'll talk Israel.
We'll talk the border.
We'll talk the connection between the two and our world situation.
So welcome to the podcast.

Alright, as we move forward today, let's dive into the Israel situation.
Not a lot, per se, of movement has changed at this point.
Israel, and if you go to a map and if you look at it from the perspective, Gaza The Gaza area is a very small area.
It's geographically small, but it is very densely populated among Palestinians, terrorists, the Hamas terrorists, and others, and they're all interwoven.
So Hamas, the cowards that they are, are standing beside kindergartens.
They're going to schools, churches, and everywhere else.
That's where they're shooting their rockets off from.
And Hamas has basically terrorized their own people for years, and they won the election.
in very interesting fashion and format back almost 15-16 years ago and now they have just cemented their power.
Hamas is a terrorist organization.
Hamas is not friendly to the world.
Hamas is not ready for the world stage.
They're not ready to interact with the world because number one they believe that Israel has no right to exist and ought to be obliterated off the face of the earth.
Number two, they have no idea of what it would mean to compromise into a peaceful solution in which they could live in the area with Israel, which by the way, most people don't realize there are Palestinians who are Israeli citizens who are not Muslim.
And they're Christian.
But there's also Israeli citizens who are Palestinian who also are Muslim and Christian.
So again, it's a difficult situation here.
But look, Hamas and Hezbollah are controlled by Iran, along with the other affiliated groups out of Iran, which they have now given, as publicly reported, given a freedom to operate.
That's why we're seeing the attacks on our bases.
We've discussed this a little bit on Monday.
This is something that will draw us in quicker than anything else, and that is How we have determined our response.
I believe that there needs to be a forceful response.
If you're going to attack bases in which we have American troops, there needs to be a price to pay for that.
And simply letting it happen with no price to pay is something that is going to be interesting down the road.
Again, we'll deal with that as time goes on.
But getting back to Gaza is a very difficult situation for Israel.
is if you just look at it, publish reports, you look at everything about it, the idea of them going in to try and wipe out Hamas is going to be a very difficult proposition.
And because the Hamas has been there for years, they're dug in, it's a home turf, there is booby traps everywhere.
You've seen how they booby trap kids' toys and kids' backpacks.
I mean, all of this is going on in Israel and the Gaza region as we speak.
Now, what has been a little more concerning is Hezbollah, as we've talked about briefly here on Monday, is looking more and more to say they're going to be proportionate to or they're watching what goes on in Gaza is to determine what they're going to do on the northern border with Israel out of Lebanon.
This is another area.
They're much better trained, much better equipped, bigger, have more capabilities than the Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
So again, this is all working itself out here.
in a very difficult situation and we'll see how The forces come to play.
How this involves, and what I really want to transition here for a moment and just spend some time just discussing this, is why I hear this still a lot, and it's very concerning to me to see the pro-Hamas forces, and I spoke about this, you know, when you have people who've been here in the U.S. for either all of their life or all, that they're here still backing the Palestinian terrorists.
Because when you see, it's not simply they're supporting Palestinian people.
When you have, as the young lady in Atlanta, I believe it was, and others, where they say, we support Hamas, it was very justified in what they did.
Number one, they live in America.
They're very safe.
They get the protests for free.
They're not in terror or danger or anything else.
They lived in Hamas.
To control Gaza, they would not get to do the freedoms.
It also is amazingly interesting to me.
When you have groups that Hamas and Muslims, especially the Hamas leadership in Hezbollah and Iran, hate, such as the LGBTQ community, who are supporting Palestinians.
Okay, understand something.
They don't like you.
They would take you out just like they take the Jewish population out, because they don't believe Israel has a right to exist.
And so, how do you actually You know, reconcile those views, I don't know.
It's become the cause de jure of the day to go out and say, we are supporting Palestinians and throwing out words like apartheid and everything else, when exactly the opposite is true in much of even the thought where you do have Palestinians and Israelis and others living together.
As long as you're not throwing bombs at each other, which is what Hamas does on a regular basis.
Okay, if you had any thought that Hamas was a normal government, by the way, their leaders are out of Qatar.
Okay, they're sitting in suites in Qatar living luxury while the Hamas fighters, the regular folks, are back here dying for what they're wanting done.
Again, the cowardness just never ceases to amaze me with Hamas.
Okay, and some of these other terrorist organizations who go to these other countries.
My question for Joe Biden is why are we allowing and not pressuring Some of these leaders in these other countries, why they're harboring terrorists.
I mean, it's something we've talked about a long time.
But back to a couple of things that I've heard and I've seen this a little bit more and more about America just ought to stay inside the United States.
And I've seen that if we didn't involve ourselves anywhere in the world, we'd be this wonderful country and that we've spent all of our money here.
And again, That's pretty much a false reality that people are trying to paint here of the reaction of what we do in the world.
To think that the world would just leave us alone if we just simply stayed within the 50 states and territories that we have is, frankly, not a very honest response.
It just isn't.
And because we, through this administration, if you're liberals and think this ought to happen, this administration is cut off your oil supply.
I mean, we're having to buy oil from the Middle East and Venezuela and Iran and these others.
We're at their mercy because we won't have the sense enough to drill oil here and supply for our own energy needs.
And so as you look at this going forward, we are tied into this.
So there's two areas I want to touch on real quickly this morning.
Number one, as I mentioned earlier, we are seeing Iran's proxy terrorists targeting military bases or Mideast bases which have American forces in them.
Which could drag us in very quickly.
They've caused damage and minor injuries.
The Biden officials have warned Iran, don't keep doing this, but it's still happening.
Reported out of the New York Post, also on X, Twitter, and others is that we've seen Alomar oil fields in Syria.
We've also seen Al-Tanif bases housing U.S. troops.
This is publicly reported stuff.
And This will be a concern as we go forward with Joe Biden and how he responds to this because this will be the quickest way to get us involved in a more kinetic way, actual fighting way, is if they continue these little proxy groups who are nothing but Iranian puppets.
Who have been freed up by Iran.
The Quds forces in Iran control everything they do.
They will not move unless they say move.
And they have given free reign to some of them to act as they say fit.
So this is Iran.
Don't try and say it's not.
If you are, you'll look foolish.
They're directing this.
And at the same time, you have the Biden administration wanting to deal with Iran, give them deals on nuclear deals, free up monies and everything else.
It boggles the mind on how that's actually a satisfactory answer to what's going on with Iran, who is, in my opinion, then you've got Afghanistan.
In that area, it's one of the most unstable regions in the world.
Afghanistan is becoming a souped-up terrorist operation now because they're going to become a safe haven and have been a safe haven for Taliban, ISIS, any of these fighting forces that have been there because of what the equipment the Afghanistan Army left that we had gave them that they just turned over without a fight.
And this will come back to be a problem.
I know everybody talks about China.
Everybody talks about Russia.
But folks, if you...
If you take your eyes off of the Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Middle East area right there, you're making a huge mistake.
Yemen and others.
Because this is exactly what is going on and we need to be aware of it.
So if they're attacking us, this could drag us in.
The other area That we need to be concerned about, and why I believe it is very important for us to have these conversations as we go forward, is the simple fact that we are at risk too.
I know that our immigration system is broken, okay?
I'm one of the first to admit our immigration system, our legal immigration system is broken.
There are people who would like to come to the United States who we would love to have in the United States who bring skills, they bring opportunity, they bring hope.
Those are the folks that you want to come here.
They will assimilate into our culture and our systems and are great and wondrous people.
Those are the people who built this country from the ground up.
We need agricultural guest worker programs.
We need things to make sure that our agriculture is picked and our farmers can sustain their growth.
These are all vital purposes that are broken right now in the United States.
Our visa system is broken.
Most of the ones, over half of the illegal immigrants, it may not be now as much as coming across the Southern border, but at least half of the illegal immigrants into our country are here because the government at one point gave them a visa and said, you can be here.
Now think about that for a second.
We've given them a piece of paper and said, you can be here for a set amount of time.
They get here.
They like it.
They like the freedoms.
They like everything they see here.
And for some of them coming from countries in which they don't experience those freedoms, they say, you know, we will stay.
And either some will get married, some will do others, but some will just stay.
That is a group of people that we have in our country that are not supposed to be here, but make up about half of the illegal immigrant population.
The other illegal immigrant population is crossing over our borders.
Very few from the north, but the ones from the north, but all mostly from the south.
Now, in the south, the numbers have been jaw-dropping under the Biden administration.
The Biden administration says they're doing everything.
We've had Tom Homan's on here.
We've had others on this program to talk about this.
But what we're finding is that this is just a lie.
When you tell people, come here and everything's going to be okay, then The people are going to come.
I mean, it's just like if you open the door, they will come, and that's exactly what they're doing.
Our U.S.-Mexico border is...
Where this is really finding itself out.
Over the past few years, we've had, you know, almost every country in the world has been represented at our southern border.
So do not let the Democrat spin line that this is just about Mexico and the Central American countries.
No, it is not.
We have Venezuelans.
We have Cubans.
We have people from the Middle East.
They're all coming through our southern border.
Why?
Because they know they can get through it.
And if this is a concern, when you have the Hamas terrorists, the Hezbollah terrorists, you have the Al-Qaeda fighters, you have ISIS fighters, you have all of these going on, and we have two million plus getaways, gotaways, in which we don't know where they are, who they're from, or where they came from, or what they're wanting to do here in the United States, and we're starting to see the Palestinian, we're seeing these We're seeing these revolts and these protests on campuses and in our streets and everywhere else.
You're seeing Palestinians beating Israeli U.S. citizens.
We're seeing Jews being ostracized.
We're seeing Jews fearful on college campuses.
This is all coming from who knows what.
Are there areas in which we have A perspective of these terrorists in the United States with sales that could be looking to broaden this conflict that is right now centered in Israel and the Gaza region and the north, the Lebanon and Hezbollah.
The CBP San Diego Field Office just this week sent out an internal intel bulletin last week that said alerting its officers to Hamas, Hezbollah, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad foreign fighters inspired by the Israeli conflict may be encountered at the U.S. southern border.
And it gives officers an instruction on what to look for.
Single military-age men under undetermined travel plans.
You're seeing this as one.
Some will scream you're targeting them.
No, it's being safe.
It's being cautious.
It's doing due diligence.
It's making sure that our communities are safe.
Because here is the problem.
If they are coming here, and at this point, unfortunately, we have no reason to think that there may not be, maybe is the best way to put this, Terrorists already here who are either waiting calls.
Remember, if you don't think this can happen, just think back to 9-11.
We have to be in due diligence.
So for everyone who believes that this is not their problem, not something that is going to affect you here in the United States, this is something else.
It's somebody else's war.
Why are we worried about somebody else's problem?
Then I'll simply just turn to you and say, look, they are here.
And imagine, God forbid, something happens here.
Something happens here.
Again, this is why the Southern border is so important.
This is why having a strong international presence is important.
This is why we are entangled, if you would, worldwide, because our international business, our international energy sources, these are all things That, again, we've not made preparation to handle completely on our own.
If you don't believe that, look at what happened in COVID. When we had Chinese factories and others that were shut down that we couldn't even get pharmaceutical products from.
We couldn't get the ventilator products.
We couldn't get the things because we've become too definitive.
Dependent on foreign sources.
And we're not still doing the right things to make sure those jobs and those equipment come back to the United States.
We've done some, but the Biden administration has not followed through.
And we are still losing this battle on our supply chains and others to those across the world.
Energy, again, as I mentioned earlier in this podcast, is a huge issue that we have to deal with.
We've got to go to these terrorist funding organizations such as Iran, which also keep the price of oil jacked up, which is why they have so much surplus income, to fund these terrorists who rape and murder and behead babies.
And rape women and kill people indiscriminately.
This is what we're dealing with.
We're not dealing with a bunch of freedom fighters who just stand out and peacefully march like the civil rights movements here in the United States.
These people actually are killing people and saying, we want to destroy the Israelis and have the Jewish state no longer exist in the face of the earth.
Why does it matter?
It matters because it's coming home.
It matters because there's the possibility that we, through an open border and a Biden administration who doesn't want to take responsibility and falsely claims that they're legally putting people in the United States, have been the ones that are going to fight these battles going forward.
We've got to make sure that we're important.
I know this is a sort of a downer podcast.
I know this is one in which you don't want to talk about many times.
But folks, if we don't solve these problems, if we don't look beyond who we are and where we're at and stop the idea that we can live independently from this world.
Now, do we need to be involved in any conflict?
No.
I mean, here's an interesting part.
We're not involved in every conflict.
There's conflicts all over Africa right now we don't really get involved in.
mainly because of when you look at international interest.
But when you get to Israel, the strongest democracy, peace-loving nation in that region, surrounded by people who want to take them off the map, you've got to understand that this is just not something that you can continue to look at and say, well, if they lose, they lose.
If they win, they win.
No, this is something that has to really be taken in small bites and said, okay, what can we do?
And also when it comes down to whether attacking our own interest in the region, not only facilities, but people as well.
That's when this thing becomes more than we need to debate about.
It's something we've got to have.
Now that ties back into something that hopefully the Republicans are going to have a speaker nominee by the time you hear this tomorrow, today on Wednesday, and say, If they can actually get 217 votes.
I will say that from the early goings on this, it doesn't seem like that's going to happen, but hopefully they'll all come together.
We'll see how it works as we move forward going into the next round of this.
But why does it matter?
It's because right now you can't do anything about the border.
You can't do funds.
You can't cut off funds.
You also have issues of getting money and other things to Israel.
The CR is not workable for our military folks.
Now, is there plenty of things that probably need to be changed within the funding structure of our military?
Yes.
As someone who's in it, I'll say yes.
But we've got to be careful at how we do that because if we don't do it the right way, then we put our own safety at risk.
All of these things to say.
Number one, we've got to support Israel.
We have to support and be careful of our own interest in that region, especially our men and women who are serving over there and the physical interest we have.
Number two, we've got to have a Biden administration that realizes that a poorest border is a national security risk.
And number three, we've got to get the Republicans We'll see how that goes.
But we'll keep you informed.
Next up here on the Doug Collins Podcast, we'll keep you going as well.
We've got some great shows coming up in the future.
We've got Chan Gailey going to be weighing in on the...
We've got the Friday's Finest coming up with Chip and James.
