The Terror Threat at Home (Ep. 2468) - 03/09/2026

Dan Bongino and Buck Sexton dissect the terror threat at home, arguing that narco groups like MS-13 and Sinaloa now pose national security risks comparable to foreign adversaries. They critique media narratives fueling a "MAGAt Civil War" while highlighting Iran's military operations and Russia's alleged intelligence leaks. The discussion emphasizes President Trump's strategy of cutting financing pipelines and freezing Gulf assets, alongside Pete Hegseth's assertion that U.S. technological superiority in AI and robotics offers a decisive advantage over global enemies. Ultimately, the episode asserts that countering manufactured delusions with robust intelligence gathering is essential for future success. [Automatically generated summary]

Wallet Rumble and Tether Gold 00:03:44
All America, all the time.
Sit down, buckle up, and get ready for the Dan Bongino show.
Another crazy busy news weekend as I put together some of the show Friday afternoon in the car, headed to one of my daughter's volleyball tournaments up in Orlando.
Met a lot of great supporters, by the way.
Love you all.
Appreciate the compliments.
Means the world to me.
We had a scrap host of the show because so much stuff happened over the weekend, including a major news story you're probably not going to hear about in the mainstream media about elections and ballots in Arizona.
Again, for the nothing is happening crowd, when things happen, they conveniently allure, ignore telling you nothing is happening in favor of another thing they think isn't happening that probably is happening, they just don't know about, but then the cycle just wash, rinse, repeat.
Nothing is happening.
Then it happens.
Nothing else is happening.
Then that happens too.
It's just a black pill doomer thing meant to inspire a MAGA civil war.
And you should take it, crumble it in a ball, and throw it right into garbage or garbage.
And if you're one of the black pillars in Doomers trying to start a MAGA Civil War, you should take the same object, roll it in a bigger bowl, and shut it up here.
I'm just saying.
I'm just saying.
We got that.
Some updates on some items happening overseas.
And a very important clip by Secretary of War Pete Hegset.
A very important clip.
Because, folks, he's saying something here, and I'm a little concerned about something.
There's an angle to this.
Not that he's saying.
You'll see what I mean in a second.

Cutting Left-Wing Propaganda Pipelines 00:16:14
Big, loaded, juicy show today on a Monday after a busy weekend.
For those of you wondering, Amelia's team did very well in the volleyball tournament, won three games, lost one.
You know, like meatloaf, two out of three ain't bad.
Three out of four ain't bad either.
They did pretty well.
And all that matters, they played good.
And I got a smile out of it when Amelia had a great couple of volleys.
She looked over, gave me the look.
You know, the dad look.
That's it, man.
You ever doubt the existence of God?
You shouldn't.
Look at the eyes of your daughter when they do something really special.
Amazing.
All right.
Enough parenting lectures for the day.
Just the news.
Just saw this crack this morning.
Another thing for the black pillars who always think nothing's happening until it happens.
And then they move on to the next one.
FBI secretly seizes election records from Arizona's largest county as the voting probe expands.
Grand jury subpoena comes after the Arizona Senate raised concerns dating back to 2020.
And the FBI learned of a congressional report from 2024.
John Solomon, just the news.
Folks, I strongly encourage you to read the article.
Look at how detailed it is.
Again, I'm on the outside now.
I don't claim any inside information about it on this.
I'm just telling you, John has a source over there indicating in his piece.
He's suggesting that this probe is expanding.
Of course, we're going to follow the case.
I can just tell you from my time there that public corruption was our first priority.
Anyone telling you otherwise is full of shit, obviously meant to instill upon you the nothing is happening narrative so you don't vote.
That's it, period.
The PC portfolio was extensive because you have public corruption.
You have no faith in institutions.
End of story.
It was a top priority.
It was right on the home screen every single day of everyone's computer.
We got in there and had this home screen.
It was like National Puppy Day or whatever.
Someone's like, ah, get that out of there.
That's gone.
We're not doing that.
Folks, this is critical.
Why is the left-wing media not interested in this story?
I'm just curious if the left-wing media folks, if the left-wing media folks are so concerned as they pretended to be in the Bush Gore election and the Russia collusion hoax about election integrity, left-wingers in the media, you told us this.
You were so concerned.
Russia hacked the election.
Russia stole the election.
You bullshitters were so fake concerned, faux concerned about what you considered a stolen election.
Donald Trump stole it with the Russians.
Him and Putin were smoking cigars and Playboy jackets and they stole the thing.
Then why are you interested in this story?
I don't understand.
Why don't you just want to look at it?
If there's nothing there, that would be good.
Can we all agree that would be good?
Right?
Correct?
Nobody wants voter fraud, right?
If everything gets looked into, and this FBI investigation and the grand jury subpoenas and all of the information portfolio that come back indicates that fraud maybe was small but not decisive enough to change the result, okay, great.
Why are you not?
Why wouldn't you want to find that out?
However, if this righteous investigation turns up evidence of voter fraud on a bigger scale than the left-wing media now pretends to, you know, pretends to put a gloss on otherwise, then that's the story of the century, isn't it?
Folks, we have to.
I got Buck Sexton coming up later as a guest, a great friend of mine.
We talk about this: election integrity and faith in institutions.
Folks, I'm just telling you, we are at a dangerous point in our country where people have faith in no institution at all anymore and the left-wingers did this.
You can't go on like that, folks.
The Constitution only matters if there's fidelity to it.
We are in a really bad spot.
And I'll tell you what, I'm not going to be a part of it.
I'm going to be part of the freaking solution, man, because we don't have anything left but anarchy if we can't trust anyone ever.
Then what's the point of winning elections?
They did this.
Now, you're seeing it now, of course, with what's going on in Iran.
This has been a tremendously successful military operation, barely a week old by any metric.
The decapitation of Death to America leadership and the Mullah class, the destruction of their Navy, the destruction of their ballistic missile capabilities, the destruction of their nuclear pipeline, drone capacity, military facilities, their destruction of infrastructure necessary to fund their war.
There is not a single measure.
This has not been a military success.
It's a week old.
Of course, you got the doomers out there and the left-wing media already hoping and praying the Iranians don't give up.
You almost see them cheering on the left-wingers and the liberals and the media.
You see them constantly cheering on the Iranians out there like, hey, man, don't give up.
Eventually, oil prices will go up enough and Trump will give up.
These are our own freaking people.
Our own people.
You know what, guys?
I want to go a little out of order here.
Listen, you know, Bill O'Reilly and I had the best relationship, okay?
We used to, but whatever.
I don't care.
I'm trying not to get into like personalities unless we really need to.
However, he had a pretty good point.
I was going to bring this up later in the show, but here's Bill O'Reilly on one of his segments saying exactly this, like, this is the craziest freaking thing I've ever seen.
Like, are the left-wing media people and the liberals actually cheering on the Death to America crowd that would freaking nuke us tomorrow if they had the opportunity?
Check this out.
If you can believe it, there are Americans rooting against their own country in the Iranian military action situation.
I am just flabbergasted word of the day that you can be an American citizen and hate the president so much that you root for killers to, I don't know about defeat, but to stalemate your own country.
I don't get it either.
To the liberal media folks out there and the doomer class trying to manufacture division inside of our own tent, do you understand the threat we're dealing with right now?
The threat we're dealing with, you have nation states on one end, like Iran, North Korea, and others, that if they had the opportunity to destroy us and felt like they could even mildly preserve their regime, they would do it.
You then have organized terror groups, AQAP, ISIS, you have groups in Maghreb, Sahel, you have a whole bunch of groups over there in the Middle East, in Africa, metastasizing into other countries.
You have these cells that, despite our best efforts, have remained persistent, but neutered to an extent, okay?
And then you have self-radicalized individual actors, which we saw in the incident this weekend up in New York.
Folks, that is a co-equal threat.
Now, the only reason I bring this up is because President Trump and his national security team understand that this third threat, again, nation states, terror cells, although sometimes interrelated, and then you have self-radicalized, what, you know, what it was, the lone wolves.
So, not really lone wolves, but you get the point.
They go and they see propaganda material on the internet and they go and do something freaking crazy, like this suspect in the case up in New York throwing the TATP explosive at Jake Lang's group up there in New York City, if you missed it this weekend.
These self-radicalized actors are getting this agit prop, propaganda material that drives them crazy enough to become murderers and terrorists and scumbags.
They're getting it from a lot of these nations.
Look at this crazy freaking lunatic.
Check this out.
Look at this.
If you guys see this, if you're watching on Apple and Spotify, this is actual video.
This is how nuts these people are.
How the hell did this guy think he was going to get away?
Look at this guy.
There's like 20 cops around them.
By the way, that one cop, man, he moved over that bike rack fast.
You see that?
Watch that guy.
Man, good for him.
You know how freaking crazy you have to be?
My point in this whole thing is that the White House national security team, the DOJ team, and the DOW team and the Intel community understand that if you don't cut the head off the seat of this Islamo-fanatic, you know, rebellion against civilization, you're going to be dealing with self-radicalization forever.
And the seat of it is the Iranian Mullah regime.
It's not the only spot, not even close, but it's the seat of it.
And you know it's true.
That's why President Trump said, listen, regime change isn't the goal here.
However, we are going to kill the Death to America crowd because they have caused this problem, that problem, that problem.
Regime change isn't the goal.
Taking out proxy groups, the ballistic missile capabilities, the Navy.
They've already stated the goals.
Because there's always going to be some other lunatic to fill in at some point.
Then they're going to take them out too.
But they're not going to let this basically the university of terrorism still continue to exist to pump out professors all over the world and interns.
They're not going to let it happen.
Folks, you've got to cut off the head.
Caroline Levitt gave a press briefer on, was it Friday or so?
And she was talking about how it's incredible how the liberal media has joined with this group of doomers that want to stop this right now.
We're only a week in.
It's not going to be a forever war.
It's not forever.
It's a freaking week.
President Trump has spoken out vocally against what they call forever wars.
He ran against that.
He also ran on saying, listen, I'm going to bomb the shit out of these people, his words, if they continue to threaten us with acquiring nuclear weapons and, quote, death to America.
Seems pretty reasonable, no?
So Caroline Levitt was asked a question about the fake MAGA civil war.
And I'll ask Buck Sexton about it later, too.
Yeah, I guess later.
And she makes the point I've been trying to tell you guys.
That's why I opened the show with the GISTA News article from the nothing is happening crowd and all these other bullshitters constantly trying to shred the movement from inside the tent.
Folks, I'm not going to tell you X isn't real life Twitter because there are real life people on there.
I'm telling you, it is not a real approximation of how people in the real world feel.
I'm out in the real world all the time.
I've yet to have a single person come up to me and talk about the stuff you think is nuclear on X at all.
At all.
Zero exaggeration in that.
It's everywhere, except it's not.
Here's Caroline Levitt on exactly this.
I would just remind people, X is not real life.
This president lives in the real world.
And with respect to MAGA, President Trump is the leader of MAGA.
He's the creator of the MAGA movement.
And there is nothing more America first than taking out terrorists who have maimed and killed our own servicemen and women who chant death to America and who pose a threat to the homeland.
And so President Trump is a leader of the peace through strength foreign policy doctrine.
He attempted peace through diplomacy exhaustively and extensively with the Rogeranian regime.
And so they have been struck with the strength and the sheer might and will of the United States Armed Forces.
And President Trump has proven he's a man of his word.
Folks, we have to cut off the head of this snake or else you're going to have essentially the Harvard-Princeton University of Terrorism over with the Iranian Mullah regime.
Again, pumping out professors, interns, and students left and right.
You take the head of the snake off and eventually the body's going to die.
I'm sorry, like liberal media folks and others they're trying to co-opt into their movement are missing this grand strategy because it's right in front of your freaking face.
The self-radicalization lone wolf problem is huge.
You've got to cut off the pipeline of agitation propaganda material.
And of course, the media is more than happy to play into this.
Did you see this tweet this weekend by NBC about the incident I just showed you in New York?
The guy with the bombs lighting up the bombs and throwing them at the Jake Lang protest, if you missed it, NBC, multiple arrests made after, quote, suspicious devices found outside Gracie Mansion, home of Mayor Mamdani, during an anti-Islam rally and counterprotest.
This is fascinating because this got community noted into the freaking phantom zone because you read this tweet by NBC.
You read this tweet by NBC and you're under the impression that somehow that like this was not an act of like Islamo fanaticism.
That like the bombs were thrown at anti-Muslim protesters, not by the anti-Muslim protesters, as this post and story would lead you to believe.
Witnesses say the attackers shouted, Allahu Akbar, as they threw the bombs at the protesters.
Kind of an interesting freaking point to put in there.
Are you people or are you not freaking journalists?
I think we all.
I think we all know the answer to that.
Here's the great Mike Davis.
Mike Davis, this is the most dishonest reporting we've seen in a long time.
Two jihadis threw two IEDs into a crowd of anti-Zoran Mamdami protesters on video.
Yet NBC reports the bombs were found and implies they belong to the conservative protesters.
Truly a new low in journalism.
I love Mike.
Mike, I love you, but I don't even know of a new low.
There's no basement for these people anymore.
Folks, you've got to cut off the head.
I want you to, there's an important takeaway to this segment I opened up the show with.
We have nation state problems.
North Korea, Iran, obviously China, Russia.
The portfolio is large of nation states that hate the United States.
That second bucket, you have organized terror cells.
Al-Qaeda, AQAP, ISIS, you know, you've heard the groups before.
I wish we hadn't, but we do.
That third bucket, I've said repeatedly in the news cycle on Fox and on this show, it's that third bucket that worries me.
The self-radicalized actors don't leave the footprints nation states and terror groups do.
Once you create a network, i.e. a terror cell, you have to have comms.
You have to have finances.
You have to have weapons trafficking.
You have to have technology.
You have to have comms technology.
You have to have some way to teach these people how to do what they want to do.
Every one of those things, you understand me, leaves a footprint behind, a big ass footprint that is really, really hard for them with the technology we have these days.
The administration, the FBI, and elsewhere, and DOW, it's hard for them to hide.
The lone actors, it's not, it's easier for them to hide their path.
That's why you have to cut off the university system, the central, the central like brain trust.
Why Terror Cells Can't Hide 00:06:28
The Trump administration isn't stupid.
Folks, I saw this clip this weekend where Secretary of War Pete Hankseth addressed this on 60 Minutes.
He addresses a number of different things, how nation states work together against the interests of the United States.
But he also addresses something on intelligence and the gathering of intelligence.
And I'm not sure the general public, and Buck's coming up later.
Buck was working at the CIA NYPD counterterror as well.
I'm not sure the general public understands just how effective when the intel communities get away from weaponization and bullshit, what President Trump has made a focus, along with Ratcliffe and Cash and others.
I'm not sure people understand how powerful the intel gathering capabilities of DIA, CIA, NSA, and others are.
Check out this segment with Secretary Hankseth on 60 Minutes.
And I want to address another component of this that's starting to really worry me.
I've addressed it before, but there's a big takeaway.
Check this out.
CBS News has three sources telling us that Russia is providing intelligence to Iran on U.S. positions and movements.
The average American might hear that and think that's a big and dangerous deal, is it?
Well, we're tracking everything.
Our commanders are aware of everything.
We have the best intelligence in the world.
We're aware of who's talking to who, why they're talking to him, how accurate that information might be, how we factor that into our battle plans, our CENTCOM commander.
So we know what's going on.
And the president has an incredible knack at knowing how to mitigate those risks.
And so the American people can rest assured.
Their commander-in-chief is well aware of who's talking to who, and anything that shouldn't be happening, whether it's in public or back-channeled, is being confronted and confronted strongly.
The American people could therefore expect conversations with the Russians to stop this?
Well, President Trump, as people have seen, has a unique relationship with a lot of world leaders where he can get things done that other presidents, certainly Joe Biden, never could have.
And through direct conversations or indirect through him, one-to-one or through his cabinet, messages definitely can be delivered.
I totally forgot this.
TH9922 in the chat.
61 minutes.
Remember, there was 61 minutes.
They deleted a minute episode with President Trump.
61 minutes.
I totally forgot that.
See, you're gone a year.
Look what happens.
Thank you.
TH9922.
61 minutes, of course, putting out there a bunch of information about how there was a leak saying that the Russians were helping the Iranians.
Folks, you see where I'm going to go with this segment?
There you go.
Thanks, fellas.
Who the is leaking this stuff?
Do you happen to notice a pattern over the last week, five, seven days, where all of the information that's leaking?
This is a game the insider anti-Trump community has engaged in forever.
I told you, it is not easy to weed out who's part of Team Trump and who's part of, I shouldn't even say who's part of like Team U.S. government and who's part of like Team Fake Whistleblower leaked to the media and sabotage U.S. efforts.
They don't advertise themselves.
Who in the Intel community is leaking this stuff?
There was another leak.
Well, the U.S. isn't necessarily confident they're going to be able to take down the regime.
Number one, he's never said regime change is the goal.
The regime did change and he is going to decapitate a lot of that leadership that's chanting death to America.
But I don't think the president's under any illusions.
Like you're going to get some like Ronald Reagan type figure over in Iran.
And then this other leak, oh, the Russians are helping him.
All of this stuff is meant to gaslight you and the public that somehow we're losing seven days in.
They do this shit all the time.
I'm going to tell you something too.
Whatever's being leaked, to was that Major Garrett in that 61 Minutes interview?
I can almost guarantee you, whatever's being leaked, let's say there's a 17-page Intel report.
16 pages, listen to me here, extol the virtues of the combat operation so far and how well they've done, right?
And then on the last page, it says there's always like a caveat or a counterpoint, whatever, maybe a minority viewpoint.
And they'll say, hey, listen, you know, there's a possibility that the regime stays in charge and all this other stuff.
What the leakers always do is they leak the minority viewpoint, if it is one, and then they make it out like it's the majority of the Intel community does it.
And Major Garrett's never going to see the report.
Folks, they do this shit all the time.
I saw it on the inside.
You'd read about something in the newspaper, and I would pop open at the brief every morning, the Intel brief.
I'd pop open the brief and take a look at it.
And then you're reading what's in the Washington Post, and you're like, that doesn't say any of that shit.
Folks, be very cautious of this stuff.
You've got people inside there who are not there for the right reasons.
And they picking them out.
Some of them are like ticks.
I'm not going to bullshit you.
They don't advertise.
That's why you see the use of polygraphs and other material.
It is not, given this expansive Intel bureaucracy, you still got stuff like this going on.
I'm going to take a quick break and I want to get to two critical things right now.
Two critical things we are succeeding at.
I want to show you again some show your ass theory stuff.
How the left, I mean, my gosh, between James Carville, this Jennifer Welch lady, they're just at this point, they're just outright cheering for the other side, as you heard Bill O'Reilly say earlier in that clip.
Did just at this point just say, like, you'd rather the Iranian mullahs reconstitute themselves, build a nuclear weapon, and freaking bomb us.
Like, just say it at this point.
We would hate you, but we'd at least respect your bullshit honesty.
Freaking frustrating.
Patriot Mobile vs. Drone Swarms 00:06:25
Two critical things I want to address coming up next: financing, drone capacity, really important.
Quick, and we're going to get to that.
Hey, this last year, your eyes may have been open to a lot of things.
But there was one thing that many found particularly disturbing, and that's a lot of the infighting going on.
I bring this up all the time.
We all agree on freedom of speech, the right to life, the Second Amendment, and supporting the military and our first responders.
Well, there's one company who's been fighting for our rights.
They supported this program and a lot of other conservative programs too from the very beginning, and that's Patriot Mobile.
Unlike other mobile providers, Patriot Mobile works on all three major networks.
I needed them this weekend.
Thankfully, they came through.
The sales service was terrible.
Switched over to Patriot Mobile.
Work great.
In fact, you could be on multiple networks on the same phone.
That's why this is so important.
Again, more importantly, Patriot Mobile's customers enjoy priority service with the same or better quality as their old providers.
Patriot Mobile's 100% U.S.-based customer service team makes switching fast and really easy.
Keep your number, keep your phone, or upgrade.
Go to patriotmobile.com/slash Dan.
Get a free month of service with the offer code Dan.
Patriot Mobile has been fighting for things we believe in for over a decade.
Let's thank them by making the switch today.
It's a great company, great service to patriotmobile.com/slash Dan.
That's patriotmobile.com/slash Dan.
Thank you, Patriot Mobile.
We appreciate it.
So, two critical things we're succeeding at, and we absolutely must destroy outside of obviously the death to America Mullers and their nuclear mullahs and their nuclear capabilities.
One, their financing pipeline: no money, no power, no war machine.
A war machine needs power, power requires money.
You don't have money, you don't have power.
You don't have power, you don't have a war machine.
You don't have a war machine.
You don't have a war machine without power.
You don't have power without money.
Get to that in a second.
And second, their drone building capacity, folks.
I've addressed this ad nauseum.
I know you're probably tired of it.
So were the FBI guys after a year when I drove them crazy about drones every single day.
I was like, drones, drones, drones.
But here's President Trump.
This is a clip on CNN.
It's actually, was it Dana Bash or something?
She had a conversation with President Trump.
And President Trump brings up something to her critical.
You cannot fund a war without funds.
And one of the epicenters of this funding has been some Middle Eastern countries who have been hesitant to dry it up.
Well, this is the good news you're not going to hear about.
The only reason you hear about it is on CNN is because they got an interview with him and they had to say what he said.
Check this out.
He also asked about the Gulf countries being hit.
He said they're doing unbelievable and they're fighting.
They made it, they, meaning Iran, made a terrible mistake when they attacked them.
The UAE is freezing the assets and they have the assets, all of them.
And they got hit enough where they were going to freeze them.
They're brave people.
Again, you wouldn't hear this on CNN if they didn't get a direct interview with President Trump and they didn't have to report on exactly what he said.
This is important.
Muy importante.
You got to dry up the money supply.
It's another piece of good news that finally some of these Middle Eastern countries are starting to see that there is no future in allowing the Iranians to conduct illicit, sometimes, sometimes overt, sometimes covert financial activity in your country.
Critical.
Second, you got to destroy their drone capacity.
You know why.
The threat from the skies is very unique.
It's also cheap.
Folks, we have a whole bunch.
Look at this.
This, did you see?
I pulled a bunch of voiceover material for you.
Did you see this?
This was the Iranians.
Look, we've got this ship out in the sea and it launches a bunch of drones.
And we're going to go and screw with you guys and kill people and murder people with our drones.
Look at that.
They advertised it.
Look how great this is.
Elevated off-ramp.
Boom.
There goes one of the drones.
And they're, oh, what is that?
Oh, that's the drone.
Okay, that's the drone.
Thank you, Justin.
Of course, that's the drone ship.
And now on classified DOW video, the drone ship being destroyed.
Okay.
Do you see this other video?
They have now figured out a really excellent use of the Apache helicopters.
I believe this is UAE footage here, taking out drones in the sky, obviously with rounds instead of what appears to be, you know, expensive, you know, Patriot FAD-type missiles, which cost a whole lot of money.
So listen, whatever we can do, the drone threat is very real, but there you go.
You can blow them out of the sky.
Just take them out of the sky and take them out of the sky as cheap as we can.
I don't know if you saw this video again this weekend trying to pull a variety of different video to show you where we stand, but also drone defense for fixed objects like buildings, which you obviously can't move.
They're not a moving target.
They are a ripe target for drone attacks.
Here is one of our diplomatic facilities in Saudi activating a CRAM system.
I want you to listen to this.
You'll see the machine gun fire from the roof.
Wow.
Not sure drones are now.
I mean, obviously it's going to have a problem against, you got to replenish the magazine against drone swarms, but against kind of isolated attacks, I wouldn't want to be on the other side of that.
So the technology is developing.
Yeah, check this out again.
Wait, listen to the sound of this.
If you're listening on Apple Smoke, that's a lot of rounds getting sent down range right there.
And then look at the technology advantage, too, the Israelis, the IDF, and the U.S. military have.
Look at this video that we see of their Iron Dome system just absolutely destroying a lot of these threats, these incoming threats.
Folks, the technology advantage we have is just light years ahead.
I'm telling you, when I came back into government, I was stunned at how far the technology had leapt ahead of when I left.
And even the technology and the protection and physical security space.
Rubio's Gay Maps Hearing 00:15:34
It is light years ahead of where it was when I left back in 2011.
Not perfect, obviously.
However, light years ahead.
Folks, if I were the Cuban regime, I would be very concerned right now.
You've seen protests in Cuba as well.
President Trump is, he's, folks, he's not screwing around.
The finding out portion of the President Trump 47 presidency is here.
Here's quickly part two, just a brief soundbite of him, Dana Bash.
She covers what President Trump told her about the Cuban regime.
I don't think he's looking at, again, I say this with, I'm just what I've seen open source.
I don't think he's looking at military action anytime soon.
However, there's going to be increased pressure for them to get their shit together, as they'd say down south, right quick.
Don't listen to me.
Listen to what he told CNN.
Check this out.
He quickly turned to Cuba.
He said, without being asked, Cuba is going to fall pretty soon, by the way, but Cuba is going to fall.
They want to make a deal so badly.
And I asked, how so?
He said, they want to make a deal, so I'm going to put Marco over there and we'll see how that works.
But we're really focused on this one now, meaning Iran.
He's got plenty of time on Cuba.
That's like job number 20 for Secretary of State Rubio.
Rubio's resume.
Has there ever been a resume like this?
You know, if you'd read Rubio's resume, you'd be like, in sequence, that's impressive.
Imagine, you know, in one term, you were Secretary of State, another term, National Security Advisor, another term you were like envoy to Cuba.
This is all the same term.
This guy's resume.
Can you imagine like the daily updates this guy has to do, right?
He must have like a resume builder at home where he's constantly got to have someone change his resume.
Folks, listen, obviously on a very serious note here.
It's been a week before we judge the entire combat book and what this is going to look like, the operation in Iran.
Let's let some of it play out.
You want to judge the beginning?
That's up to you.
It's a free country.
You don't like it?
Fine, fair enough.
There's a lot of disagreement in the tent.
However, I need you to understand that the left-wing media is seeding this and fertilizing this field of hatred inside our tent and trying to force a split in the MA movement because they don't feel like they have anything else.
Everything they've tried against Trump, impeachments, civil trials, criminal trials, arrests, taking out surrogates, breaking attorney-client privilege, everything they've tried against him has failed.
They're now starting to realize if they do not fracture this movement from the inside, they will have no shot.
That is hilarious.
Again, if you're listening on Apple and Spotify, you got to tune in.
39 minutes in.
There you go.
Marco Rubio.
That's the famous, of course, meme of Rubio on the couch in the oval, wearing various costumes now in his Cuba.
Now I've taken over Cuba as well.
Marco Rubio, many different jobs.
Folks, the left is fracturing too right now.
They have gone, you know my show your ass theory, the Democrats show their asses theory?
That they, in order to express kind of like a code word, like a shibboleth, that you're part of the left-wing movement.
Chat's going crazy.
That you have to express an increasing amount of radicalism to one-up your lefty anti-friend buddies.
You know, Trump's a racist.
No, Trump's a super racist.
No, he's a Ku Klux Klan member.
He's a grand wizard of the Ku.
It's the show your age time they show their ass even more and you see who they are.
This appeals to a limited group of lunatics.
However, the left can't get out of the death spiral.
They're in just like this massive death spiral of crazy.
And I think that's what's alienating them from the kind of even center left of America, where there's an opportunity for us to change politics forever.
I don't know who they think this stuff appeals to, but this happened at one of these Hollywood award shows.
Do you know this woman, Jennifer Welch?
I don't, I don't know who she is.
I've seen her name.
Does she have a podcast?
I have no idea who she is.
I'm not trying to be like a, you know, Mariah Carey Giphy with J-Lo.
I don't know her.
I just don't know her.
However, here is another one of these freaking left-wing lunatic rants.
You want to talk about showing your ass?
They love this stuff, however.
This is why they know this doesn't appeal to down-the-middle Americans.
So this is why they have to fracture us from the inside because this kind of shit just isn't working.
Check this out.
Want to say something with my full chest?
Never obey in advance.
Fuck ICE, fuck Donald Trump, free Palestine, and save trans kids.
So F. Donald Trump, F ICE, Free Palestine, and Free Trans Kids.
Do you understand?
Like mainstream voting Americans I run into all the time.
This shit is crazy to them.
You know that, right?
Before we...
What's going on?
This next clip, this is the Dan Bongino, Dan's favorite clip of the day, for all the wrong reasons, by the way.
I swear to you, this next clip we thought was fake.
I mean, even after doing our intake homework, because we have to process video and go through specific things and make sure it's real, you know, you don't want to get burned.
Once in a while, something slips through and you got to correct it later.
It happens in the media business.
We try to make it rare.
We did all the checks, right, Justin?
And Justin's like, I still can't believe this clip is real.
I, that's where I was going with this.
I would show you my, but I'm afraid his number is going to creep up.
This next clip is so bananas that I actually had to text the congressman.
He's my congressman, who asked this question.
And he's like, no, this is absolutely real.
This is Congressman Brian Mast from Florida.
He's actually my congressman.
He's up at a Capitol Hill hearing, and he's doing an expose of like foreign NGOs and Biden-era money that want to support crazy shit overseas.
I just, you know what?
This clip speaks for itself.
Play the clip and tell me how this appeals to mainstream America, quote, queering maps overseas with your tax dollars.
Check this out.
Queering the map?
So, I think we were trying to make the maps more gay.
Literally, that's how do you make a map more gay?
I mean, especially, you know, since the age of cartography, we've had pretty good maps, but maybe they weren't gay enough.
So, I know also, I took critical theory in college.
I think sometimes people use queer as a verb.
I do understand that the maps that we were trying to make gay were, I think, of Czechia and Slovakia.
So, maybe those countries asked for it.
I doubt it, but I don't know.
We do have real things to work on in Congress, like what's going on with the imminent threat of Iran.
And it is embarrassing that we have to talk about the fact that things like this were funded, non-binary and trans francophones, linguistic attitudes and ideologies towards inclusive French in Montreal, Canada, these things.
I'm going to give you a list.
My time has expired.
I'm going to give you a list of these and any of these that you can provide me, the receipt for, the Facebook link to where they wanted to take photos of how they were doing a DEIA flash mob in Kyrgyzstan.
You know, whatever documentation they have of all of these things, we would love to see that and would absolutely love to know the individuals specifically that were busy writing these grants because they have no business receiving another paycheck from the people of the United States of America.
What the hell is queering the map?
Gay maps?
How do you make maps gay?
I don't even know.
I'm not shitting you.
I had to text the congressman this morning.
Is this real?
Hold on.
I'm not going to share it because I don't understand.
I know.
I got to get near the mic.
Hold on.
Okay.
Congressman, is that Make the Maps Gay clip real?
Yes, it's real.
Secretary Rogers was explaining how one of our grants from the Biden administration, of which we have hundreds, was about queering the map.
And he sent me even more crazy stuff.
How do you make maps gay?
How do maps get gay?
There's this screenshot of Justin's phone asking Grock, yes, the video's real.
Folks, I'm not kidding.
Folks in the chat, please help.
How do you make a freaking map gay?
We have real problems in the world.
We've got the threat of Iranian, North Korean, China-Russia, cyber infiltration into the United States grid.
You got a death to America crowd constantly trying to build nuclear weapons, not for show.
You got the North Koreans with nuclear weapons.
You've got a war in Ukraine.
You've always got hostilities going on in the African continent.
You've got hostilities going on in Europe.
You got a war against free speech in some portions of even Western Europe.
And we're talking about freaking gay maps.
How do you make a map gay?
None of this shit appeals to freaking normal people.
It only appeals to lunatics.
It's not funny.
I can't.
We invited the congressman on the show to talk about money given to cartographers to make maps gay.
Enough on that.
Now you see why it's my favorite clip for all the wrong reasons of the day.
Folks, we're dealing with serious stuff.
Despite what you've been told by some people in the ecosystem out there, the threat to President Trump's life from the Iranians was very real.
Very real.
We just had a guy up in New York, Merchant, convicted in a case I'm intimately familiar with.
We worked it the entire time I was there.
I don't care what anyone's telling you about what they think the threat is, unless they've been in on Intel briefings and know something you and I don't know.
The threat from Iranian actors against President Trump's life, the seat of the executive branch, the president of the United States, is very real.
We've now got a court conviction on this exact incident.
I want to play two clips from this.
First, the first one, on the Iranian leadership's role.
There's no question about that in the plot to try to take out President Trump.
Check this out.
The federal trial of a Pakistani man, prosecutors accuse him of plotting to assassinate American political leaders, including President Trump.
He says Iran was behind it all.
Alexis McAdams is outside the Brooklyn federal courthouse in New York City.
An interesting case that really not a lot of viewers knew about when it happened in 2024 because President Trump was out on the campaign trail and there was so much going on and so many other threats.
But that's when police say a Seif merchant came here from Pakistan because he says Iranian leadership told him to, said hunt down President Trump, hire a couple of guys that can take him out at a political rally.
So take a look here on your screen.
This is who we're talking about.
He's sitting there inside of that Brooklyn federal courthouse right now as those closing arguments are underway.
47 years old.
He's facing federal terrorism charges and could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Merchant testified, Harris, in his own federal trial, and he explained this, making this drawing again that he said Iranian leaders gave him back in 2024.
Really doesn't look like there's much to it.
It looks like, you know, like a kid druid or something, but that's the sketch of a rally site.
Merchant was arrested just one day before Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania.
You don't need to play the other one, but he's now been convicted.
So there's no need to talk in legal terms.
There's a presumption of innocence in the United States, of course, and there should be.
It's the right thing to do.
He's now convicted.
So there's no reason for that anymore.
He's not alleged.
He's not the suspect.
He's the convicted person involved.
And I noticed the end.
Was that Alexis McAdams?
The Iranian leadership.
Folks, we're dealing with really serious shit right here.
This is not a joke.
You know, I mentioned on Friday, and it's really important, how this president sees national security totally differently.
I don't care what anyone else is telling you.
If you haven't been in the room talking to him about how he views the whole national security umbrella, he sees it totally differently than people have in the past, Republicans and Democrats.
What do I mean?
Okay, put meat on the bone.
It's easy for you to say that, right?
What are you talking about?
This is my experience with him.
The president looks at national security from the lens of a wider aperture.
Like, yes, terror groups in the Maghreb, in terror groups in the Middle East, the Muslim Brotherhood, and others.
Yes, these are obviously very, very serious problems.
Why do you got a split screen?
I'll put Alexis Mazat.
Oh, okay.
Oh, look at you.
Very nice, Justin.
Taking some an issue.
The president says, in this wider aperture, if you have a bunch of narco-trafficking groups, the Sinaloa cartel, CJNG, and these other groups that are killing hundreds of thousands of Americans, you know, whether it's through murder or fentanyl trafficking or others, how is that not national security too?
And the old school establishment national security folks are probably like, ah, that's a what are you talking about?
That's more the law enforcement space.
Is it?
Is it?
Of course, there's a law enforcement significant connection.
But if we can't trust that the region of our southern border is not an effective border to keep foreigners out of the country who want to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans just like terrorists do, i.e., maybe through different means, then how is that not national security too?
So, one of the things he did early on is he expanded the foreign terror organization, whom he referred to as FTO, to narco groups as well.
He engaged with the Department of War in ways we haven't seen in the southern border.
Southern Border Terror Threats 00:03:05
These are things that had not been done before to this degree.
You had things like Golden Dome to protect the United States from the ballistic missile threat, but a lot of the technology being built through Golden Dome is going to filter down for security for the Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City against drones.
He sees it differently.
And this is why.
This is a really disturbing clip.
I know the show is always an emotional roller coaster.
It always has been.
But I want you to watch this clip.
I spend a good chunk of my adult life in Maryland.
I lived in Severna Park.
It's where the podcast started in a basement in Severna Park.
So when I see stories like this, they really bother me.
Tell me how this is in national security.
This is a local news report from Maryland about some suspected MS-13 gang members and what they did to, is it a 14-year-old boy, chopped him up with machetes?
President Trump sees this stuff in the national security picture as as big a threat as organized terror groups for the effect it has on the psyche of the collective American people.
And he's right.
Check this out.
MS-13 gang members have been indicted on several charges in connection with the death of a DC teen.
Now, Prince Georgia County State's Attorney Tara Jackson says they've identified three men in a 17-year-old in connection to Jefferson Amaya Ayala's murder in College Park in November.
Jefferson went missing last August.
The suspects are charged with first-degree murder.
How is that not a big national security problem?
Organized international FTO foreign terror organizations, because that's what they are, chopping up teenagers in the United States with machetes.
I explained to you last week something critical when you're analyzing the threat of terror cells in the United States, because I've seen a lot of the reporting on it.
There's graphs out there that show an increased number of encounters with terror-connected subjects at our southern border.
A lot of that is narco-trafficking folks.
It's not what you would associate traditional old-school establishment, terror orgs, you know, Islamo fanatics with.
It doesn't make it any less dangerous.
Remember, the goal of narco-traffickers, if you get in their way, and the goal of terrorists is the same thing.
You dying.
Folks, this, of course, a safer America with the lowest crime rates we've seen in your lifetime, the lowest homicide rate I think we're ever going to see, the crushing of open-air drug markets, the destruction of FTOs, Naduro, now the destruction of the Iranian death to America Mullah regime.
Foaming at the Mouth 00:05:01
This drives the left crazy.
I played the Bill O'Reilly clip earlier.
He's absolutely right.
It's like the left is cheering on the freaking enemies of the United States.
It's like they love this stuff.
I've never seen anything like it.
You would think, like, James Carville, you got this clip ready to go.
James Carville, the raging Cajun, Carville was a Bill Clinton political advisor.
Obviously, he's a Democrat.
Some of you know him.
Some of you don't.
The only reason I play this guy's clips once in a while is that this guy in the past, by Democrat standards, let me be clear, folks, in the chat before you start flaming me here.
By Democrat standards, where you're dealing with that Jennifer Welch lady, Trams Karen Tray Pound, has been one to tell the Democrats, A, cut the trans stuff.
He's kind of been like the least insane.
That's all gone.
This guy had a meltdown of epic proportions.
Not going to caught on video.
He did this on purpose.
And this is why I'm telling you, like Donald Trump's successes in the space, foreign affairs against crime, the economy, it drives them bananas to the point now that even their self-declared moderates have given up.
They're now all in with the freaking lunatic class.
It's why we have to be careful of letting the lunatic class infect people in our own tent and suck them into this vortex is stupid too.
Folks, this is a serious language alert.
If you have kids, not me, it's Carville.
But I feel like leaving the language in, you guys didn't edit it, right?
For that, I feel like leaving the language in is important for effect.
Check this out.
You fat Trump.
If you listen to this, you listen good because what I'm getting ready to say is what a lot of people in this country speak for, who I speak for.
And I speak for a lot of fucking people.
You hear me, you fat asshole.
This is what we believe.
You're right.
I got Trump derangement syndrome.
I hate the motherfucker.
And you know what?
I don't want to get rid of it.
I don't want to get better.
I want to get worse.
I want to hate him more.
I pray to God in heaven, God reign the righteous rain of Trump derangement syndrome.
Pray for me, Lord.
I'm your vessel on this earth.
Pray for the people that listen to this.
We want more.
We want to hate the son of a bitch so much that we can't see straight.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry about the.
I don't, I don't know.
I don't know what to tell you.
You see why the left needs this?
Jasmine, am I making a point with the MAGA Civil War?
Am I making a point?
Poor Jasmine.
You come in the studio.
It's open season.
Sorry.
Sorry.
Makeup ladies here.
Jasmine.
Are you ready?
Open season.
You are part of the show.
Do you see why they need the MAGA Civil War now?
Chad's going absolutely wild.
He's gone.
He's a KJP 137.
He's an ass bag.
I thought that said gas bag.
It said ass bag.
Same.
I agree.
Folks, they've gone freaking nuts.
The MAGA Civil War, listen to me, the fake MAGA Civil War is all they have.
If they cannot cause the destruction from inside the tent, they've just given up from outside.
Carville's given up any sense of sanity.
Look at you.
Literally foaming at the mouth.
Right.
Right.
Justin said, you know, we hate the word literally because it's so overused, like literally.
Foaming is foam.
The guy's foaming at the mouth like a rabid animal, the clawing, the scratching at the faith.
Listen, I'm not going to call out the guy, be a fraud, call out the guy's language.
I've been known to, whatever.
But holy Moses, man, control yourself.
Did you see the seething going on?
Folks, I'm going to tell you something.
Here's another thing that's driving Carville and these other ass bags, as KJP says in the KJP.
I get you there.
As I said in the chat, it's not just Trump's early successes in the first year.
And again, we're only a week in.
Of course, there's going to be a short-term spike in speculation in the oil markets.
As the straits open up and we decimate their Navy, long-term, you're going to have now more stable oil prices.
That's the irony of this whole thing.
It's not me putting a shine on it.
It's freaking true.
We took out their whole Navy.
The hell are they going to shut the strait down with?
Foul language?
You like that?
Justin's laughing.
Irony of Decimated Navy 00:07:38
Did you see this this weekend?
So this video emerged this weekend.
This is, folks, I saw this on the inside.
One of the first, I don't know, kind of problems I had.
So I'm there very early in my tenure, and there were a lot of people who came up to us, Cash and I, and you would give us like an elbow and say, thank you for being here.
We've been waiting for this.
But there were a lot of old school folks we got rid of who just did not want to change the way the FBI was working.
So one morning I called an all hands at like 7.30 on a Thursday or Friday.
I remember it was the end of the week because nobody was particularly excited about being there.
And it was about an incident where I didn't feel like it was given proper attention.
And I had to make a point to the leadership team there that a lot of swamp rats and deep staters don't get, that this is not your FBI.
It's not mine either.
And it's not cashes.
It's not ours.
It belongs to taxpayers in a republic who fund it for their benefit.
This operates like everything else in a republic by consent of the governed, i.e. the freaking taxpayers and the citizens.
You don't own it.
I used to give the analogy all the time.
It's like being the center fielder for the Yankees.
When you're there and you're the star center fielder, what a Mickey Manle or Bernie Williams for years when I was a kid, you may feel like, wow, this is all about me.
Everybody's cheering me on.
It's not about you.
They're going to get another center fielder and you don't own the Yankees.
Eventually, they're going to move on.
It's great.
You were part of the Yankees, but you don't own the freaking Yankees.
This video was out of the U.S. Institute for Peace.
So Doge, the Department of Government Efficiency, the Elon operation, which we dealt with at the FBI, very helpful, by the way, weeding out a lot of ways, goes to the U.S. Institute for Peace.
And they're like, hey, listen, we're here to take a look at everything, try to clean up the efficiency stuff.
I want you to listen.
These people call the police in.
They want these people thrown out.
There's a clip about 30 seconds in.
We're going to pause it where you'll see, you would never believe how these deep staters see this as theirs.
They don't see it as yours.
They think it's like a private company.
Listen to a little bit in the beginning, and then I'll stop it.
And I want to play for you the absolute money shot.
Check this out.
How are you doing?
Hello.
I don't know if this.
I recognize these guys.
Yeah, if you know them.
Hi.
Yeah.
Okay.
How did this come to be?
How did we happen to have people's billing?
How does this come to be?
It's called an election.
That's how it came to be.
It's an election.
This is a republic.
Capital R. Mr. U.S. Institute for Peace guy, taxpayer funded.
Did you miss it?
It's called a government by the people, for the people that operates by consent of the governed.
And we did not consent to some of the stuff that are happening.
Therefore, we elected a different president who sent some of his lieutenants in there to take a look about what's going on.
How does this come to be?
You didn't hear a Doge?
Did you miss that?
By the way, this is older video.
I just surfaced recently.
Here's the absolute money shot, though.
One of the guys they're talking to in the U.S. Institute for Peace.
Apparently, he's like, I'm not really sure we recognize Donald Trump as the president.
Hold on.
I'm going to play it as a full screen so you can hear it.
And then we'll let the rest of it play.
Check this out.
How did this come to be?
How did we happen to have people's billing?
He's the president of the Institute, so he has the right to be a president.
That's yet to be determined.
You don't recognize that he's the president?
Absolutely not.
No.
I told you. I told you.
Hey, George.
Did you?
How did we happen to have people in the building?
Did he just say that?
Well, that's yet to be determined.
That's yet to be determined.
Folks, I play this as a large.
Pod that sounds undressed a little bit.
I play this as a larger example of, I'm telling you, something Cash and I saw directly.
There are people entrenched in the government you pay for.
It's your freaking money who will swear to you up and down that like they're in charge, not the executive branch leadership, the president and his cabinet.
They will swear to you up and down.
This does not belong to you, man.
I don't know what part of that these deep staters aren't getting.
Now, let me tie it back to the beginning of the show, like a big circle here.
Folks, there are people in the USIC, United States intelligence community.
There are a number of different entities there.
You have geospatial intel, NSA, CIA, FBI, DIA.
You know the portfolio of intelligence.
You know, military branches have their own intel gathering operations.
There is a ton of intelligence gathering that happens throughout the government.
There are people in the U.S. intelligence community.
I promise there is a massive effort to uproot it all.
So don't take this the wrong way.
Massive to get rid of people who are not there to protect and defend the Constitution, but to protect and defend the political ideology.
And a lot of the work has been done.
We've had about 10% of the workforce turned over in the FBI.
It's a lot of people.
But I'm not going to bullshit you here and be like, oh, problem solved.
Everything's fixed.
That's not what I'm here for.
I didn't, you know, leave hoping, you know, we walk back into the podcast city and people be waving palm fronds as we come in on a ceremonial horse or being carried in.
That's not the way this works.
I've told you all the time, there's no heroes in government.
There's just work that gets done or doesn't.
There are people inside.
That's the U.S. Institute for Peace.
That's just one example.
Any government agency can do damage to NGOs and others.
But when you're in the intelligence community and you're not there to give the president intelligence to act on, but to protect your left-wing partisan benefactors, we got a problem.
And I'm telling you, there's a lot of this stuff still going on.
These ticks are going to have to be pulled out of the skin of the United States government, and it's going to take a while to do it because they don't advertise.
And these left-wing reporters are more than happy to feed their bullshit into the system.
We do have some good news too, some other good stuff going on.
You know, I'm a big supporter of the Second Amendment.
I got Buck Sexton coming up in a second.
Just a quick note: our good friend Senator Mike Lee from Utah put this tweet out last week, introducing the National Constitutional Carry Act in the U.S. Senate.
You do have the right to keep in bare arms, Senator Lee.
Senator Lee's Secret Handshake 00:15:24
You're right.
Stay strapped.
I would love to see that passed.
Of course, we've got the filibuster problem.
Another reason I think we should scrap this thing or institute a talking filibuster.
They're going to do it anyway.
Can you imagine what it would be like to finally be able, finally be able to recognize your God-given big R right to carry your firearm and protect yourself throughout the country without a patchwork of local laws designed to put you in jail and trip you up?
We need this so bad.
You see what they're doing now?
Some of these liberal states are making the default mechanism that it's illegal to bring firearms onto private property unless the owner says otherwise.
That way they can arrest you if you walk anywhere.
You're allowed to carry your firearm without maybe basically into your driveway, and that's it.
We got to stop this, folks.
Thank you to Senator Lee for doing that.
Oh, you do?
This is a bad old kitty in the chat about gay maps.
Apparently, queering the map means making it more rainbow-like, colorful, colorful, and noting LGBTQ, IA, blah, Friendly locations.
You just can't make this crap up.
No, no, you cannot.
And your money was going there for that stuff.
Desert X-Rider, all straights are now.
That's clever.
All straights are now gay.
The gay of Horn Moose.
And a Mutley at the end.
Desert X-Rider, you get chat post comment of the day.
Get a little stamp for that, fellas.
Well done.
That's freaking creative.
BP Sniper.
Dan, why do you wear a watch now?
I don't know.
I haven't done questions for Dan a long time.
I love watches.
I just used to forget all the time.
And now, ever since I moved, I got this little watch holder and it's right near my wallet.
So I don't forget.
I love I'm a watch guy.
It's the only thing I the only thing I like is watches.
I don't know, I don't get enjoyment out of like material, a lot of material stuff.
As you can tell, I wear like t-shirts and regular old jeans.
I don't even wear like super expensive stuff.
So I like watches.
I'm a watch guy.
I don't know.
I've always been a watch guy.
Although, quick, before I get to the break, sorry, I don't want to.
If anyone out there, my watch was stolen, my Breitling watch, from my house in a burglary over 10, well over 10 years ago, 15 years ago, when I lived in Severna Park, someone broke in my house at night when I was home.
They broke in.
They stole my Secret Service Breitling Colt GMT Blue Face.
And on the front, it had a Secret Service star and it said Presidential Protective Division.
Listen, Breitlings, this is actually a, I like Breitling, a good watch.
It's not super high-end, but I like them.
That watch was special.
It was only one of like 500 ever made.
I'm asking, I'm serious, man.
I'm not messing with you guys.
If you guys ever see that watch, it's a Colt GMT, dark blue face.
If you ever see it and it's like on the market anywhere, send me the link right away.
We have an email on the, on the, on those, I don't even care.
I'll buy it.
I don't even want to know who stole it anymore.
Well, we know who stole it.
The guy did some jail time, but it's got hawked and it's been gone ever since.
But it was my prized possession and it got stolen.
Incredible.
All right, I'm going to take a quick break and then I got my good friend Buck Sexton coming up.
He hosts one of the most popular radio shows in the country.
He has a new book out about gaslighting, liberal bullshit gaslighting and the dangers of it called Manufactured Delusion.
Also has a good body of experience in the Intel community.
We have a great conversation.
You're not going to want to miss this.
Oh, you like the shirt?
All America all the time?
Seven, McColl Wallace with the romantic music in the background, too.
We need a smoking jacket for that one.
Thank you, Nicole.
I thought it was a 10.
However, but whatever.
Nicole's downgrading a little bit.
If you want to pick it up, you can pick them up on the website.
You know, we put some shirts out there.
People like that kind of stuff.
So this is my new one.
I really like it too.
Folks, if you're like me, you become totally desensitized.
All the phone notifications we get every single day.
You've seen them all the time.
Most of them are random alerts.
You swipe away without thinking.
But if that latest ping is from your security camera, listen, it can spell disaster.
And we don't want that.
Imagine someone breaking into your home while you're at a meeting at work, sitting in a movie theater, or flying at 30,000 feet.
You'll see the footage eventually, but by then, it's far too late to do anything about it.
You know, I take security seriously.
Unfortunately, we've had a lot of incidents around the house.
I wish we didn't.
You should take it seriously too.
Producer Jim just recently followed my advice and he signed up with Simply Safe.

There's no safe like SimpliSafe.
Welcome to the show.
One of my longtime friends has known this guy over a decade.
Man, Buck, are we getting old?
He's the host of one of the biggest radio shows in the world, Clay and Buck.
You can listen to it at noon on Premiere iHeart stations and other stations all over the country.
He's also the author of a new book.
It's already a bestseller.
I was looking it up this morning called Manufacturing Delusion.
It's all about a topic we love on the Dan Bongino show, how the left uses propaganda and indoctrination of bullshit the hell out of you.
My friend Buck Sexton, Buck, welcome to the show.
Hey, Dan, thanks so much for having me on.
So what a perfect time for this book, Manufacturing Delusion.
One of the things I really enjoy for all the wrong reasons talking about on the show, I know you and Clay address it all the time as well, is the left's love affair with gaslighting.
You know, lying, lying often, lying confidently, that's important.
And then isolating people from the truth.
Buck, you wrote this book, but we saw it again this weekend, very timely with this suspect up in New York in this bombing case, throwing this TATP explosive at this Jake Lang protest.
And then NBC News, I addressed it earlier in the show.
You play in the word game, euphemism game to almost seemingly imply like the motive wasn't there.
I get really worried about this stuff with the media not painting a clear picture of where the threat is coming from.
This is llama radical threat, self-radicalization.
It's a really big deal.
We used to see this all the time in Intel Division at the NYPD, Dan, as you know, that the media would try to seize upon things in the initial moments or the first hour or two when a story would break to mislead people intentionally about who the likely perpetrator was or what was really going on.
And I wrote Manufacturing Delusion, and it took me quite a while.
I mean, I actually wrote it and researched it and did everything myself, and it took quite a bit of time.
But even when I first pitched this to my publishers two years ago, I said, look, people are going nuts, but they're being made to go nuts, right?
I mean, this is something you talk about on your show.
Like, there's effort in this.
It's not just like people all of a sudden believe things that are extremely obviously untrue because they've become suddenly detached from reality.
There are actually tactics.
There's a playbook.
And in Manufacturing Delusion, I lay this out.
You're talking about gaslighting.
It's not just that they lie to you, Dan.
It's that adherents, and this is one of the, this is dealt with in the chapter on menticide or killing of the mind.
Again, all the chapters are all broken down by tactics.
Lying is showing that you belong to the team that they want you to belong to in some cases, right?
It's like, if you're willing to lie, this comes up in the context, not just of terrorism, but of the transgender stuff.
You have to show that you're willing to lie to be on the team that they want you to be on, right?
This is this is almost like the secret handshake, if you will.
You're going to say things that are absurd, right?
I mean, this is when they go out there and they're like, the biggest terrorist threat, you've seen this a million times, the biggest terrorist threat in this country is like, you know, white nationalist Republicans.
Right.
And if you exclude 9-11, 9-11, you're like, this is insane.
You people are nuts.
That's what the book is about.
Yeah.
You know, I love that you mentioned that, that the lie is the shibboleth.
Like, I don't know what a woman is.
Like, that's a lie.
Like, you're not stupid, Kentanji Brent.
Well, I don't know.
Well, however, Jim, relative to the population, she knows exactly what a woman is.
The lie from the Biden team and Christopher Wray, failed FBI director before the administration changed over to Patel.
You know, the biggest threat in the country is white supremacist groups.
Listen, Buck, you and I both know that's a serious thing.
Any racially motivated violence in this series, the biggest threat in the country?
Are you serious?
Like, the lie is the shibboleth.
And I think the portion of your book that the audience would find the most interesting is the fact that this manufactured delusion, i.e. the title, can't happen, though, without the isolation portion.
Like they bubble themselves in.
And although the Mandarins on the left know it's a lie, the suckers underneath them fall for it.
And they really do believe there's like 760 genders and that a bunch of Ku Klux Klan members are in every corner of every community because they never see the truth.
Hannah Arendt, you know, the author of The Origins of Totalitarianism, writing all about the Nazis, the rise of totalitarian regimes.
She describes what you're talking about as atomized subjects.
Because one of the things that comes up, I talk about for the first time, Dan, in the book, I talk about CI deployments to Nigeria, which I had never spoken.
They had to clear that one.
I didn't know that I was, it was long ago enough now.
But I was looking into Boko Haram, the origins of Boko Haram.
Little 23, four-year-old Buck, believe it or not, was running around Nigeria with the secret police looking at Boko Haram before that was even called that.
But then I get into Iraq and Afghanistan and deployments there.
And in the isolation chapter, there's a chapter on this because obviously it's an important theme.
It's something you talk about too, about how you make people crazy.
I said, look, you can be physically isolated, right?
I mean, if you're in some little village, you know, an hour's drive from Kandahar, it's easier because you don't have access to the internet or television or even radio or whatever.
It's easier for people to indoctrinate you.
But Hannah Arendt talks about atomized subjects.
And these are people who are psychologically isolated.
So you could be around people all day, all the time.
And of course, this is also in the context of self-radicalized jihadists in this country, like the whackadoos that just threw the IED outside of the mayor's office or, you know, the mayor's mansion or whatever in New York, mayor's mansion.
You can be somebody who's physically in close proximity to other people, but you feel, ideologically speaking, you think that you are completely separate from that society.
You think you are isolated and have no contact to it and therefore are much more subject to the tactics of mind manipulation.
And like I said, atomized subjects.
I mean, there's a whole framework for this going back now 100 years since Aaron came up with it.
So that's one of the pathways and one of the tactics I talk about.
But it's the same thing, Dan, with, I mean, remember, like when I was again pitching the topic of the book, Manufacturing Delusion, which I hope your enormous audience of people who actually care about knowing cool stuff and there's a lot of history in the book and everything else.
I know your people.
They like history.
They like to know tactics.
Manufacturing delusion is well, well worth the read because they'll just get all this from it.
But I was pitching and I said, how is it that people who think they're well informed really believe?
Just look at the BLM thing.
That was a manufactured delusion.
How is it that people think that cops, and you were a cop, Dan, that cops are shooting like 10,000 unarmed black men a year for no reason?
Buck, there's a chart.
Talk about a manufactured delusion.
It was like they asked a bunch of liberal Democrats how many unarmed black men were shot by police.
The number was like some ridiculous, like 15,000.
And it was like, it was like 100 or something.
And even of those, it were only 11 that there were even, you know, it was just so ridiculous.
But that's why like the title of your book, I find it so fascinating.
I didn't mean to interrupt you.
I rarely do that, but you just nailed the point on that.
And I'm thinking of it in terms of how, at least my experience over the last, you and I both worked in the Intel space for the government.
And I, you know, when I worked for the Secret Service, the government always going to have problems.
It's government.
I mean, the bureaucracy is endless.
We get it.
But people still had faith in institutions.
I mean, back in 1999, 2000, 2005, up until the weaponized government basically tried to take down Donald Trump twice.
You know, to say you were with the FBI, carried some cachet, to say you're with the CIA, people generally were like, wow, thanks for your service.
The military still has that, thankfully.
You know, upper-level Pentagon leadership took a beating under the Biden administration and Obama because they were kind of bureaucratized.
But the lack of faith in institutions through these manufactured delusions, as you call them, Buck, is really had some deeply consequential problems.
It's creating some consequential problems for the United States.
Nobody trusts anything coming out of the government anymore.
And the left did this, not us.
Well, absolutely.
And you mentioned this when I, the CIA, I went to the CIA.
I'm like you, I'm a New Yorker, and I could have done what all my peers did, which was, you know, I was in college when 9-11 happened.
And a lot of a lot, when I say peers, I mean classmates, right?
Not people my age.
A lot of guys obviously signed up and served right away.
But a lot of my classmates in school were like, hey, I'm going to go to Goldman Sachs.
And I was like, no, I'm going to go to the CIA because I thought that that was the best way that I could help.
I had no military service in my family.
So I didn't really have any connection to it.
But I figured I'm studying, I was already studying Arabic before 9-11.
I was already in a Middle Eastern studies focus.
So it seemed like an easy transition to just all of a sudden get recruited into the agency.
And everyone knew when I was at the agency, and certainly for a few years after, like, I was, I was in the basically the bin Laden hunting unit.
I was in CTC.
Like, this is why we're there.
And really was why people were there.
Dan, that has been destroyed.
Now people say, they're like, I can't trust you.
You're in the CA, you were in the CIA.
I was like, first of all, I haven't been in in like 15 years.
Second of all, I joined when everybody was like, can we please find all these guys and kill them before they can blow up 10 planes over the Pacific?
I mean, you look at some of these plots that they actually had that were disrupted.
The Bin Laden Hunting Unit 00:12:51
Anyway, you know this.
I know this.
Your audience knows this, but I do think it just bears repeating that we asked people to go do this stuff.
Thankfully, there's still the respect deserved, earned, and deserved by our military.
But on the Intel side, from a lot of these bureaucracies, people have this idea.
Like, I wasn't James Comey's personal assistant at the FBI when he was trying to frame Trump.
I was with you on the outside saying that, by the way, that was a manufacturer.
Russia collusion is a massive manufactured delusion.
I get into it a little bit in the book, but I probably should have gotten into it even more.
That is a perfect example.
Something like 30% of Democrats into Trump's term, maybe two years into his term, thought that Russia actually hacked voting machines.
Right?
I mean, this is something that there was never any evidence for whatsoever, but it was just something that was pushed into that ecosystem by people who wanted to create a hysteria.
And that's the thing.
I mean, again, you can, there's, I get into some references to Alinsky and some of the sort of street, you know, the street communist, to borrow from our friend Jesse Kelly, street communist tactics of just get people fired up, get them angry, and get them believing nonsense.
And you can then use them as tools for whatever you want.
And I think that's at the heart of the Democrat Party today.
The lie is the point.
And this is why the gaslighting is the point.
This is not some secondary thing, because otherwise you can't get people to become so upset over saying that like men can't play in women's sports or that Black Lives Matter is built on lies or, you know, you got or Russia collusion or Donald.
I mean, you know, all the stuff with Donald Trump is covering up for a global cabal of evil pedos.
I mean, there's a lot of stuff out there that people say and you're like, there's just no evidence for this.
Oh, but it is helpful for the people who are trying to kick at the load-bearing walls of our civilization.
It is helpful for people who want to tear everything down to get people so aggravated and agitated that they can be pushed on this stuff.
So that's a lot of the things about another thing I get into the book, I might add Dan, is we see a little less this now, but forced confession and just the role of, you know, the apology tour that we used to have.
Like not we, but conservatives or people on the right, you would say the smallest thing.
You would say something that you're like, I don't even know.
And then it was, you know, you have to go and you have to apologize.
And I'm not just talking about a media.
If you work in some corporation, this is straight out of the Maoist culture revolution playbook.
They got put all these people up on stage back in China in the 50s and they were beating them with sticks and everything.
And they were having to confess because that shows that you're broken and they want people to seem broken to people around them.
Buck, like land acknowledgements like that.
Like it's so farcical and right.
I just thought, as you said, everyone get up on this land prior where the, you know, the Seminole Indians.
Okay, well, give it back then.
I'm just, I'm not, no one's stopping you from giving it back.
Like, give it back.
And they don't want to do it.
They're just so full of shit.
But you're right.
It's like this ritual shibboleth.
We're all like nodding their heads like a bunch of stupid robots while simultaneously doing jack shit about any of it.
It's like, it's incredible.
On the topic of, you know, manufactured delusions as well, you know, they tell you in the business, you and I have been here a long time.
Never talk about what you were talking about before the show, but I do it all the time.
Before the show, you and I were chatting.
We're old friends.
And I was talking about the almost comical MAGA Civil War.
Like this is a left-wing narrative.
It's completely fabricated.
I'm an evidence-based guy.
So are you.
The polling numbers indicate upwards of 90% of Republicans are with the president.
His approval rating is tracking above prior presidents at this stage of the presidency.
Is there disagreement?
Of course there's disagreement.
I'm actually glad we're not a group of stupid liberal robots that automatically nod our heads in approval.
But a MAGA civil war, this is like the latest manufactured delusion on the left.
There's no such thing.
The numbers don't bear that out.
Oh, it's absolutely the case that this is a weapon being used because our opponents are, unfortunately, they've had so many manufactured delusions that they can't even keep it all straight and they don't know what to do because they're now dragging around things.
I mean, the trans issue is a perfect example, but there are others as well.
Their policies on crime are insane.
Lock up criminals.
Lock up criminals.
And guess what?
You have fewer people, you have fewer old ladies being gludgeoned in the streets by maniacs who have been arrested 100 times.
I know, you know, you tell your people this day in and day out.
So do I. Of course, right?
You have to be insane not to see these things, but that's the point.
They've been pushed into this.
It's the insanity is a construct.
The insanity is a tool.
And on the Matan Maga Civil War, I mean, look, I mean, I have a few things.
I always tell my radio audience: don't ever expect me to hit my friends because I won't do it.
Because for me, it's just a point of honor.
Like, if someone's on the right and they're fighting for the country, we're trying to achieve the same things.
And I'm not going to go out like a bitch and take shots at them so I can get a few clicks or whatever.
That's that's part one.
And then part two of it, I would say it's actually kind of a testament to how much, you know, when we came up in this business, I mean, you and I have been doing this for roughly the same amount of time now, which damn, we're getting old.
It's been like 15, 15-ish years.
Started right around the same time.
Yeah.
Right around the same time.
So, you know, when you look at the beginnings of this, we had all of social media against us, all of legacy media against us, all these people, all these, you know, CNN was like a serious organization with a lot of money that people gave a lot of, you know, I know we like, you like laugh now when you say this out loud, right?
But, but back then, these things had, you know, on then, and Brian Williams was America's newsman, the whole thing.
We had to become really adept and we had to become fighters.
And I mean this, you know, you and me and Shapiro and Walsh and, you know, and Clay, go down the list.
Like, I can't name everybody right now, but you know, you go down the list of everybody on the right who was, you know, obviously all your colleagues, all your friends at Fox.
They had to actually get good at this and be capable of making arguments and be the left, they've just been kind of like fed grapes and carried around on, you know, on a litter and told how brilliant they are and go from one overpaid, nonsense position to another.
And basically, if they can't turn us against each other, they just have no chance.
Like, I talk about this with Clay all the time.
Who are they even going to have?
Who are they going to have that you would even want to debate on the left that's even worth your time right now?
I don't even think that person really in media exists.
So, what they want are people with big audiences and a lot of ability to just, you know, they want this to be the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s, where it's just like the more casualties for everyone, the better.
So, I think falling into that trap is insane.
And I refuse to do it.
The good news is that if the commies win back, even just the houses, you know, in this midterm, which you know may very well happen, everyone's going to get a reality check on the right again of, oh, these people are insane and they want to destroy the country.
So, that means that we'll have to actually focus again and not be turning on each other, which I just think is nonsense.
Yeah, you know, I agree with some exceptions.
There are some people out there who are not MAGA or not, forget MAGA, they're not even Republican or conservative.
I don't know what they ran on in the past.
I just know now, like, you're just totally full of shit.
Like, what you're doing now is, and I just have to call it what it is because that's different.
That I see is just divisive inside and meant to destroy us from the inside.
But, you know, you brought up something interesting because you're right.
Like, you and I have known each other since, gosh, early 2000s.
I mean, it's been a really, really long time, probably.
2012.
Yeah.
I mean, I was up in New York doing a Blaze show with you, gosh, well over, I think 15 years ago or something.
But I don't bring that up to age us both, although it may do it by default.
I do it because I don't think a lot of the younger folks who have been gracious with their time and listen to your show and my show and Ben and others.
I don't think a lot of them understand like all the structural advantages for the left.
Airport viewing, I'm not joking, like the airports have CNN.
Like that's just what, you know, it's a joke and we left, but no airport in America, like outside of like FBOs, have Fox on.
I mean, the citations in Stoopapedia and all these other places, you know, the whole ecosystem of NBC, ABC, CBS, and their millions of nighttime viewers, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Chicago Trib, all the media centers around the world were driven by leftists or left-leaning, you know, pseudo-centrists.
And Buck, we still, and I say we, I mean all of us.
I'm not just talking about me and Buck.
All the names he mentioned, Matt and Ben and Levin and Sean and Beck, who managed to stay, and Rush, I mean, the godfather of all of our shows, we still wound up, I don't want to say winning, but we've stayed competitive, if not edged ahead of them in the digital game, and they hate us for it.
Oh, absolutely.
I go back to that time period and I just think about the advantages that they had felt totally insurmountable.
And if you look at this from an information warfare, I mean, propaganda is one of the chapters in manufacturing delusion.
If you look at this from an information warfare perspective, I mean, we were outgunned just by sheer volume in a way that in retrospect was just, it was unbelievable.
I mean, you know, you think about the advantages, the built-in advantages.
And I think in some ways it really actually peaked during COVID because then we saw, oh, if they can, they will just shut us down.
It's not really that they want to be able to dominate us by sheer volume, by the platforms that they have.
If they have their druthers, they want to be in a place where they can straight up silence.
Because as you know, if you don't exist on the internet and you don't have some massive legacy platform that you can call upon, I mean, you're not a part of the conversation.
You just can't get your message out enough.
So there's been such a transformation.
I believe personally that Elon Musk buying X is one of the most important things to have happened in the last decade.
Maybe one of the most important things that happened in the 21st century.
And I don't, yeah, I think what Elon's doing in a business sense is incredible in a whole range of ways.
But I think that that broke the lockdown that they really had on information distribution.
And now once that cat's out of the bag, like they've just got problems that they can't even begin to fix.
And so I go back to the beginnings of it.
I think about what it was like trying to do media then.
And, you know, we were like weirdos, right?
I mean, we, the right, we people on the right were treated always in that media ecosystem like there was something kind of wrong with us.
And it's funny because we represented, I think Roger Ailes said this, but we represented this little constituency of half the country.
So yes, he did.
He did say that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I think we've evened out quite a bit in the firepower.
But what I said is really true.
It's like all the campus conservatives that I know too, like all the college conservatives.
Anytime you see some college conservative and they're like open about their beliefs, you're like, wow, that kid's only like 19, 20 years old.
You know, he or she is so eloquent and dialed in on the facts and able to make a case.
And then you find some leftist with like blue hair.
It's just like some banshee shouting communist slogans and like, you know, spittle flying out of their mouth.
And it's like, but this is what happens when one side is putting in the work and the other is just being, you know, being sort of patted and cosseted and passed along.
And that's the same exact situation we've had in the media.
None of these people at like CNN and now CNN is obviously a shell of what it used to be.
I think Trump broke CNN, which is amazing.
I mean, if you had told me he was in 2016.
No, they've never been.
You know, I didn't even think about that, though.
You had brought up before.
I was talking about how they had these structural advantages built in.
Last question for you after this, but I had totally forgotten about when I was asking you the question about the fake fact checking, the boycotting, the Google Ads boycotts, the YouTube banning, like all of that.
And it's like, hey, man, we're still here.
It reminds me of that scene in, you know, Rocky 2 when he's asking Duke why he shouldn't take this second fight against Rocky.
And he's like, I saw you beat that man down.
And he just kept coming.
He goes, we don't need that.
That is the entire conservative content creation space.
They just never gave up.
The Rocky 2 Comeback 00:04:21
And now it's the golden years.
But in the last few minutes I have with you, we're talking to Buck Sexton, author of the best-selling new book, Pick It Up Today, wherever you get your books, Manufacturing Delusion.
There it is on the screen.
We got the fancy graphic.
He's got a hard copy right there.
Buck, you were in the Intel space for a while.
Just got out of it myself.
Heg Seth, Secretary of War, doing an amazing job.
Good friend of both of ours, just a great guy.
You know, he brought up this weekend, he was asked in 60 minutes on the 60 Minutes interview about the Intel advantage, basically for the United States.
He was asked in a different format, kind of a hit question, but he answered correctly.
You know, without getting into too many details, I think you know this as well.
Listen, warfare is always going to be obviously tautologically dangerous.
That's just a fact.
no matter how great your technology or advantage, brave people have to go and wage war and put their lives at risk.
However, the United States technology base and our ability to gather intelligence on foreign adversaries is so light years ahead of everyone else.
And when you see it from behind the scenes, you see why Pete's like, no, we're not really surprised by mine.
I'm not telling you surprises don't happen.
You know, Ukraine war, there were some people who saw it coming, some who did not.
But we do a really, really good job at this.
And it's even happening even, you know, even more efficiently now that the weaponization component's been, that cancer's been largely excised out.
You know, Dan, it reminds me, I was in, and in the book I wrote about, I wrote about being in Mosul back in like 2007 and working alongside a task force there, military, you know, the real, the real door kickers.
And by working alongside, I'm helping pull target packages.
And, you know, and then at night, I'm on the base and they're actually going in and kicking in the doors and doing all that stuff.
And it's amazing what they were able to do even then, you know, SEALs, Delta, these guys.
But I remember watching a drone strike on a car in broad daylight in Mosul, watching it, you know, on the screen and surveillance.
And, you know, it was like a hell, it was the standard thing that everyone's now seen in movies and stuff, hellfire missile, some little rickety vehicle, boom.
And, you know, no one's getting out of that car.
But I just remember that, you know, the whole thing is toast and everyone in it is killed.
I think there were four or four people in the car, all al-Qaeda guys, sawing people's heads off, you know, bad dudes.
But I remember that I watched this and then I saw one.
I was in the White House actually visiting some of our mutual friends last June.
And they showed me, it had just been declassified.
They showed me, I forget the technical designation of it, Dan, but it's people refer to it as like the flying Ginsu knife.
Oh, yes, yes.
The missile that has the extended blades.
Basically scissor slicers that, oh, yeah, yeah, that thing, you don't want to get hit by that.
It's going to be a bad thing.
And this car is moving.
Okay.
The other strike that I saw was broad daylight.
Car basically had a red light or stopped and hit four people.
Everyone's dead.
This car is moving and obviously being tracked by a drone.
And they send this Ginsu thing in.
Dan, the car had four people in it.
The three other dudes got out, except the guy that they were trying to take out.
And you sit here, you're like, this is in a whole, this is in a whole other, you know, people saw that video, I think, during the Israel-Hamas war of that senior Hamas guy.
You remember that in the building?
And the drone basically like, I mean, we're in a hole.
And when you look at robotics, you look at AI, the technological stuff that is coming.
When I say coming on board, it already exists.
It's kind of just like how it's going to be deployed by our military or how it already is being deployed and people are learning about it.
The advantages that we have currently are far beyond what I what even I saw 20 years ago when we were fighting the GWAN, right?
In inside the agency, it's a whole other level.
So, I certainly hope that that plus the lessons of the GWAN, including don't try to build someone else's country for them.
As long as we stick to those principles, I think we could be in for running up the scoreboard against the bad guys in a really big way here, which would be great for great for America, first and foremost, but also honestly, just good for humanity, good for the whole world.
So, that's my prayer at least.
You know, you and I have that same sense of humility.
I came back, was not in the Intel space, was in the protection and law enforcement space, and you know, but familiarity with surveillance devices, obviously.
Running Up the Scoreboard 00:02:34
And I was just blown away.
I mean, within three weeks through a month, I was just nothing but bring it on, guys, just every day, brief every day.
I want to hear, and it was just incredible.
It worries me a little bit about the surveillance state and the wrong people getting in charge.
That's why we got to vote right.
