After the vaccine debacle, why would anyone trust the government anymore?
And the debacle from the vaccine is growing.
I think debacle is actually almost an underestimation of how bad the situation is growing, okay?
There is clearly now information developing about side effects from the vaccine that were either unanticipated, that's the most benign explanation, Um, anticipated yet ignored a bad explanation or the worst explanation anticipated and covered up and not ignored.
In other words, they knew it and they covered up the worst explanation.
Now, a, an argument based in science and reason, which we are going to stick to on this show, no matter what is, There's now no longer a question that side effects have developed from the vaccine.
That, that we know.
But it is a fair and open question to say, okay, well, what's the degree of it?
Okay, let's not get lost in hysteria on either side because as I'm going to show you in the Hunter Biden case and the Joe Biden documents case in a minute, when you get lost in the hysteria, the real scandal gets covered up because the left focuses on small minutia in the hysteria and forgets the real scandal that you were forced to jam something in your arm that candidly they knew very little about.
I've had this enormous fight going on with one of my biggest business partners for now over a year about this thing covered widely in the news over the damn mandate.

There was enormous pressure early on to shut the f*** up about the vaccine.

There was enormous pressure being put on people to shut up about the vaccine.

I know what you, listen, I might even, because if people get crazy about this, they never ever told me what to say about the vaccine and nobody, nobody from Fox said, get the vaccine or else to me.
Nobody, that's not what I'm talking about.
I'm talking about the obvious argument with the company I did work with at a Cumulus in Westwood at a Cumulus, the parent company to Westwood.
This was an enormous fight I had with them over forcing people to get this thing.
It was a choice.
If you wanted to take the chance, and you were afraid of COVID, not understanding what the long-term effects of this thing were, but you were afraid you were going to die, that was your choice to do it.
But the culture early on to pressure people to shut up was bananas.
It was crazy.
And we didn't.
We went out there and spoke about it anyway, and wound up forfeiting away one of the best business opportunities of our lives to do it.
But that's fine.
Because moral opportunities matter more.
But the shift I'm seeing happening right now over this vaccine, I'm telling you, is cross-partisan lines.
This is no longer about pure politics.
Yes, in a... I mean, in the larger picture, I get it.
More liberal Democrats will still tell you, take the damn thing, jam it in your arm, it's wonderful, kiss its ass.
I get that.
But I'm sensing a shift now, where even some people who are Democrats, locals, friends, people I know, not diehard-like partisans, but people who definitely I know voted Biden, are starting to ask questions of me that haven't been asked before.
Like, hey, do you think this thing is safe?
Remember, all politics are local.
And there is nothing more local than what's going on inside this thing you call your body.
People are starting to ask real questions, folks.

It was just dominating Twitter.
Here's Scott Adams on the cultural shift now going on with the vaccine from people who were formerly pro-vaccine, who now understand that they're skeptical of the side effects.
I want to just say in advance, I disagree with the language he uses here.
I am not anti-vaccine.
I am pro-science.
And the science never backed this thing up the way the Democrats were saying it did, the vaccine that is.
So let me just say, I dispute the language, but the assertions he makes here are not inaccurate.

The thing they're not worrying about is what I have to worry about, which is, I wonder if they'll have vaccination in five years from now.
Because really, the anti-vaxxers, I think, were really just distrustful of big companies and big government.
That's never wrong.

So if you just took the position, let's just distrust everything the government did, well, you won.

This is an enormous cultural shift happening now.

It's you're seeing even people like Leanna Wen, the former Planned Parenthood head, who could not have been a bigger proponent of mandates, who, although still on the vaccine, not so sure on other issues, has started to fold a little bit.
You're seeing a big cultural shift here now.
Folks, let me give you the downsides and the upsides, if there are any, from this, what I believe the vaccine is going to be one of the biggest public health debacles in human history.
I believe that now.
That's why I've dedicated so much of my show to it recently.
The downside to this is fairly obvious.
You are going to see, and the degree of the problem, I opened up the show to be clear and to keep it anchored in science, the degree of the problem is open for debate.
We don't know yet because we got to let this play out over time.
Sadly, you're going to see more side effects develop because time is going to take its toll.
If the spike protein from the mRNA vaccine has some of the side effects on a percentage of the population, obviously the percentage is based on a number over time.
You're going to see those numbers materialize.
It may work the other way as well.
You may see that the side effects have been overblown by something.
You may see either one of those.
I hope the latter is true.
And anyone hoping the former is true, I'm sorry, is insane.
Oh, let's hope a couple million people die.
Please, let's not.
Because those couple million people include a lot of people I really care about.

So the downside of this, the enormous downside, is you are going to see, I believe, a human tragedy as a lot of people are impacted by this thing going forward.

It's that the natural distrust of an entity, I've warned you to distrust your entire life, the government, has now reached a critical mass.
Government always, always has a mercenary purpose.
There is no benevolent purpose to government, ladies and gentlemen.

It's an upside, because I'm hoping, in essence, that with these natural vicissitudes and ups and downs of life, that we're on the upswing of a group of people here in the United States that may become a growing majority, that'll be skeptical of government and vote for people who believe the same thing, and we'll get back, maybe at some point in the future, to some form of restraint.
We have big individual liberty and small government, rather than big government and small individual liberty.
There are a lot of people living in fear right now.
Again, I'm one of them.
I don't mean to keep harping on this, but I'd be lying to you if I said that two to three hours of my day aren't spent trying to think of how much damage may have been done to my heart.
I'm telling you, I monitor these things and I just haven't felt right in a long time.
And I don't know if that's the case, but I'm just scared.
And I know a lot of people are too.
This is going to be a huge public health debacle.

There are a lot of people who are really, you know, take the vaccine, shut your mouth.

matters is Hunter Biden was giving Joe money. And when the second that they show that these
rent payments or for something else, there's going to be some huge fact checker who's going to,

We want to be very, very careful to be respectful of the integrity of that investigation, to not speak too much about the underlying contents and materials, especially things that we may not know all the answers to.

And the big guy in the emails who 10% was being held for is not a theory.

Joe Biden lobbying for weapons for Ukraine in the Biden administration and the Obama administration, excuse me, and the Biden administration in some cases.
Biden lobbying against Obama when he was his vice president to send stuff to Ukraine while his son was tangled in these international money deals, Ukraine included, is not a theory.
Again, it may be a conspiracy, but it's a fact.

Kamala Harris is actually to the left of Biden, I'm sure of it.
How do I know that?

Because everybody up on Capitol Hill is scratching their head right now going, if we impeach this guy over this, who are we stuck with?
And the answer is you're stuck with Kamala.
Now, I haven't said it in a long time, but Joe will remember this from the early days.
I used to say a lot.
The why matters.
You know, just telling you like, okay, liberals are bad because they do X and Y, which leads to Z, is okay.
But folks, if you don't understand the why, then you're never going to get shows like today.
I think one of the reasons the show succeeds and we beat the liberals to the punch on their stuff is because we understand the why.
When you understand the why, you can predict the then.
Why this happens, then this is going to happen, okay?
Kamala Harris really kind of lays out the why.
Why liberals think the way they do.
I'm going to show you these two clips on equity.
Equity is the new liberal buzz term for basically communism.
It is.
It's the idea that everybody should have an equal outcome in life.
Now, ladies and gentlemen, outcome is an output.
What you put out.
Your outcome is you're a CEO or a doctor.
That's a result of your output.
You did this in school, which led to you getting into medical school, which led to you getting a residency, which led to this.
Those variables are the inputs.
Those variables are infinite.
Work ethic, smarts, sweat equity.
Yes, a lot of luck sometimes.
People who made their own luck by just taking a lot of chances.
Liberals don't want any of that.
Liberals hate merit.
They hate a meritocracy.
Liberals hate the idea of free will.
And liberals want to control everything.
Now, when liberals talk about equity, they're not talking about equality.
They're talking about equity.
What's the difference?
Well, let Kamala Harris and these two clips sum it up for you.

Equality suggests often everybody should get the same thing.
Well, that often assumes everybody started out in the same place.
As opposed to equity, which is everyone should end up in the same place.
And if you then understand not everybody started out in the same place, you understand some people need more.
So we all end up in the same place.

But this other one's a little bit more recent on equity.
But I want to explain, I want to explain the why here.
Do you understand what she's saying?
She's saying that everybody should wind up in the same place.
Now, the same place she's talking about, we need to be crystal clear on.
It's not a place of wealth or prosperity.
She'll tell you that.
Oh, equity, meaning everyone should have a beautiful house and a white picket fence and a dog and 2.15 kids, right?
Oh, you should have no kids.
China one child policy, whatever.
But you get the point.
I'll take it off track.
That's not what she's talking about.
The reality of forced equity on everyone has been shown through history over and over through the implementation of communism to result in what?
Starvation and body bags.
When you steal from one person to give to another person to level out their outcome and their output, eventually the person who produced due to hard work, who has to give to the person who did nothing, stops producing.
And what happens?
They both starve.
The essence of equity, ironically, Of the liberal principle of equity is that it requires you via government fiat and force to treat people unequally.
Because Joe, Guy, and I all have... Guy, you weren't even born here, right?
Guy's not... Guy wasn't even... It was Paula.
Paula was born in Colombia.
So, Paula, you factor in the podcast crew.
Paula, Guy, me, and Joe.
Dramatically different circumstances.
Born in different places, in two cases, different countries.
Yet it's weird, we're all here in the same spot.
Now, we don't all earn the same thing or live in the same house, but we're all here doing the same thing.
We came from different circumstances no one can control.
What Kamala Harris wants to do is she wants to level out the whole program.
And she wants me to produce at four o'clock in the morning and split this all four ways amongst anyone.
Which I love my guys.

But I think you guys would admit, and I say this with, it's the Dan Bongino show.

Imagine you having the Dan Bongino farm, and you're paying some people as farm hands to work for you out there, yet you were the one who had been invested in this field your entire life, and you now have to give half of it to the guy working in the field, who may be young and hasn't worked his way up yet, and is saving to buy his own farm?
That's it, you're done!
The whole principle of communist equity, which is what it is, is that you have to be treated unequally by the government.
You are no longer entitled to the fruits of your own merit and work.
Here, one more before I take a break here.
Here's Kamala Harris again, this is a little more recent, on the idea of equity, which is undoubtedly a communist principle.
Take a listen.
We have always fought for equality, but now we are also talking much more rightly about equity.
Understanding that we must be clear-eyed about the fact that, yes, we want everyone to get an equal amount.
That sounds right.
But not everyone starts out from the same place.
Guy said it right.
It's insane, Dan.
We have to explain this to people.
Do you understand when she says everybody's going to get an equal amount that that so-called equal amount comes from you?
The reason some other people don't get an equal amount is, yes, sometimes it's bad luck.
But a lot of times, it's not.
The reason they don't get an equal amount is because they don't put in the equal amount of work.
It's as simple as that.
So you're gonna work harder to give someone else more who work less.

This is why, this is the Biden insurance policy.

This is from this weekend.
It kind of spurred me onto the insurance policy idea.
And it is, it's an insurance policy.
And believe me, Democrats know that.
Here's Kamala Harris this weekend, uh, speaking about her, uh, her, uh, almost rabid desire to terminate the lives of babies in the womb.
To kill as many of them as we can.
They love abortion.
It's a sacrament on the left.
It, again, is one of the most disgusting, horrific things we have done.
The extermination of millions of human lives.
But Kamala loves it.
So much so that she alters the words of our founding documents to take out the word life to try to make a political point.
Last time I checked, it said, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Kamala must have just forgot that.
Air quotes.
Check this out.
A promise we made in the Declaration of Independence.
That we are each endowed with the right to To liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
That's not what it says.
But of course, that's how she might say she missed.
I'm sure it was just a simple accident, the whole life part, which is interesting because, again, she's talking about during that speech, she happens to mention whacking babies in the womb, which she loves.
Now, why is she doing that?
Kamala Harris is under a image makeover from the media right now.
Why?
Because certain people in the media know they have to get rid of Biden because he's a foreign agent and the scandal is going to explode.
And who is the backup plan?
It was Pete Buttigieg, but because Pete Buttigieg seems to have lorded over a train crisis, an airborne crisis, a fuel crisis, a traffic crisis, and he is the head of the Department of Transportation, Buttigieg is a wounded duck too.
So now they've got to rehabilitate one of the worst politicians in American history, Kamala Harris.
That's what's going on here.
And Harris is talking about abortion because she thinks it's the only thing she can do to appeal to liberals to get them to support her because they dumped her.
She didn't even make it out of Iowa when she ran for president.
Folks, it's time for a segment I haven't done in a while because it's an important one.
I call it This Week in Liberalism, and one of the reasons I became a conservative, I started to realize that there's a big, big difference.
A big difference with liberals, right?
Liberals are people out there who are not astute observers of the political scene, by no fault of their own.
They work for a living.
They don't want to watch this crap all day.
I was hanging out with a guy this weekend, good friend of mine.
Yeah, I was at an event for my, uh, for my daughter.
And he brought up this fact that, you know, I work for him.
He owns restaurants.
Just a great guy.
He's like, I don't have time to read all the stuff you read.
So he's like, that's why one of the reasons, you know, we appreciate your show.
You kind of sum it up for us.
That's why we wanted to make it an hour ride home.

Right.
Um, but this week in liberalism, I love stories that show not only that liberals aren't dumb, like they don't do stupid things because they're stupid.
They do things because they want to cause chaos.
I want you to listen.
They want to hurt you.
Not all Democrats.
The radical far left wants to hurt you.
I don't mean so much physically.
I mean, they want to do damage to your life and cause chaos.
I should have played this.
If you watch Fox and Friends this weekend, I went on in the morning show on Saturday and I went on like a five minute kind of rant about my chaos theories.
They liked it so much.
They actually covered it the next day again on Fox and Friends.
And I appreciated that.
It's my Walking Dead theory.
Liberals love chaos.
Because when you've got chaos, people, all they want to do is escape it and they want normalcy.
So they'll forfeit their civil liberties to the government and say, just make it normal again.
It reminds me of the episode of The Walking Dead.
Again, Officer Rick and others, they're fighting off the zombies and they go and hide in a prison and they live there.
Who walks in a prison voluntarily?
The answer is people who are afraid of what's on the outside.
They worship their loss of freedom being pinned in in this prison because they see what's on the outside as being dangerous.
You understand that's why liberals want to destroy everything?
And when I see these stories like this in the Wall Street Journal, it makes me think of people who fall for the fact that all liberals are just dumb.
No, they're doing this on purpose.
So they're pushing now liberals for a nationwide rent control thing.
They want Biden to control rents nationwide.
Now, there isn't a single area of economics, I'd say maybe outside of the minimum wage, where sane economists agree more that rent control does nothing to control rents and causes so many different problems, including a lack of available housing, that only an idiot would support it.
Now, of course, that means what?
Of course, Joe Biden's team supports it!
Now, is this being done because they're stupid?
No, it's being done because they want to destroy the housing market.
That's the point!
Chaos!
They love them some chaos.
The Wall Street Journal notes that the White House is considering a series of executive actions to protect tenants.
They want rent control, basically.
The hilarious part about this story, tragically so for you, is why are rents out of control?
Well, rents are out of control because the same liberals who want to cause chaos did it by spending a bunch of money we didn't have, which caused an inflationary crisis.
The inflationary crisis caused them to crunch down on interest rates in the Federal Reserve and raise them to try and shrink up the money supply, which did what?
Well, one culprit they note was near zero interest rates for a while, which while they lasted, inflated housing prices and made it harder for young people to buy a home.
The result?
More demand for rental housing.
Which drove up the price.
Here's the second part.
What else drove up rents?
Well, liberals had another great idea.
And by the way, some Republicans, I don't want to say conservatives, played into this stupidity.
They said, listen, during COVID, we have to do an eviction moratorium.
You can't evict anyone.
And liberals were like, that's a great idea.
Until people started to say, well, listen, the landlords still have to pay their bills to the bank as well.
Evil landlords.
How are they going to pay their bills if no one else does?
Well, now what happened?
Well, landlords make a good now.
Now they're raising rents because they need the money back to pay the banks.
And what's happening?
The rents are going up.
It's...
Again, it's not just that liberals, when you fall on the sidewalk, walk past and don't help you.
That's misfeasance.
It's that you try to get up and they kick you in the nuts.
This is malfeasance.
They're doing this on purpose.
Chaos is the point.
They're total frauds.
They believe nothing they say.
Oh, liberals.
No, no, no.
We're just trying to work on housing.
We care about housing for people.
Everyone's entitled to a home equity.
They are?
That's interesting, because Nantucket, where all the rich liberals live, you see this Daily Mail story, which will be in the newsletter today.
It's interesting.
They want to build affordable housing on Nantucket, and Nantucket residents are saying, nah, not here.
We're not doing that here.
I thought you cared about housing.

Which also results in what?
Well, when you keep interest rates near zero to spend money you don't have, and housing goes through the roof, and then housing goes through the roof, so what happens?

And then when you try to build housing in places like Lantucket, liberals say, get the hell out of here.
You're not going to do that here.
Well, what winds up happening?
As housing explodes in these liberal places, people evacuate the places you can see in the New York Post, which saw a $9 billion plunge in New York City commercial real estate.
It's every single time, folks.
But again, don't let bad news get in the way.
Liberals say, well, at least we can have equity and health outcomes.
We gotta have government health care.
Yeah, definitely do that, because the British National Health Service, when they do that, you know, evidence, don't let that get in the way.
He's melting down right now.
Patients who need an emergency room, 35% now wait above 4 hours for a decision to admit and get a bed for treatment.
It's the worst performance since 2010.
