Leftist Democrats Get BLOWN OUT IN Election, Voters REJECT Marxist Democrats

Tim Pool analyzes Illinois primary results where moderate Democrats defeated progressive leftists like Kat Abugazela and Junaid Ahmed, signaling voter rejection of Marxist policies and extreme measures such as pediatric trans surgery. He attributes these losses to pro-Israel PAC influence over insurgent socialists backed by Justice Democrats, critiques CNN's coverage of universal healthcare exclusions, and discusses the rebranding of Turning Point USA following Charlie Kirk's assassination. Ultimately, Pool argues that moderates will secure midterm victories while dismissing progressives as liars, suggesting relief at their electoral demise despite prediction markets favoring Democratic gains. Yesterday, Illinois held its primary elections, and the results will shock you.
Or maybe not.
The progressive left Democrats got completely blown out.
That is, the people of Illinois said, we do not want this far left brand of Democratic socialist or whatever.
It would appear that the moderate Democrat types actually took a major victory.
So the question arises, what will happen in this November's midterm?
Caulchy is already predicting that Democrats have an 85% chance to take the House, and thus Republicans will lose what little control they currently have.
I think we are seeing the American people stepping up and saying no to the far left and to what we would describe as woke.
And if the Democrats can get rid of these terrible candidates who have supported whack-aloon policies, they may actually take power back in this country and convince the disaffected liberal types to once again vote for the Democratic Party.
Now, that'd be shocking because the challenge that I have, as many of you know, a disaffected liberal, is that many of these Democratic politicians have endorsed insane policies that are overtly racist or just outright, let's just call it crazy, like giving children trans surgery.
And many of these progressives, they don't believe it.
Many of these liberals, they'll tell you it's not happening.
But you and I know that it is happening.
And regardless of whether or not it is massively widespread, it's just one issue where we look at Democrats as disingenuous.
Now, the Republican Party certainly has its rifts right now, particularly over the Iran war, with most Republicans being in favor of it, but independents pulling away.
This is bad, bad news for Republicans who don't want to admit they are losing independent voters over this and they need to pitch them better.
If you simply just believe you guys are winning because the Republican Party is unified around Trump, you're going to lose the midterms.
I suppose the reality is Trump has already resigned himself to losing this midterm.
So he's saying rally support from the base, get as much done as he can.
And then come November, Democrats take the House and potentially even the Senate.
It looks like the prediction markets are suggesting Democrats will take both the House and the Senate, which is rather shocking.
And I don't know if it's absolutely going to be true.
There was a period where it was looking like Republicans would actually win, but welcome to a midterm year, my friends.
If Illinois suggests anything, it suggests that Republicans actually will lose, but it's not going to be that bad because the winners in the Democratic side are going to be a bit more moderate.
Now, as I already mentioned, a bit more moderate may not be enough for the average voter.
And thus, so long as the Democrats have embraced what we would describe as woke policies like racial segregation in universities, which is a big issue, and teaching children about adult activities, you may actually still find people like me were not getting back on board with the Democrats.
And of course, as you know, I'm from Illinois.
I'm from Chicago, and my neighborhood voted for Donald Trump in 2024.
Now let's break down exactly what is going on.
We've got big shifts, even with we've in the Republican party, the turning point chapter, I believe is in Arkansas has rebranded and denounced turning point as essentially abusing Charlie Kirk's name.
This matters because with the attacks on Turning Point and Erica Kirk, this is the organization that got young people out to vote.
It now seems, at least to a certain degree, crippled.
And the news is not good.
This won't bode well for Republicans, my friends.
But let's jump into the news.

Here's a story from Axios.
The squad left suffers complete wipeout in Illinois.
APAC Pivots and Loses 00:05:37
tim pool
The left suffered a virtually total collapse in the Illinois Democratic congressional primaries on Tuesday night, even in races where the APAC-backed candidate lost.
I love how they have to throw that in there because you can't squeak by, right?
You got to say it.
It's a bad sign for the dozens of insurgent Democrats running in congressional races across the country, both in open seats and as primary rivals to older, more establishment-oriented incumbents.
It's great news for House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who is most popular among the moderate and mainstream liberal wings of his party.
Most of the Democratic House candidates who have refused to commit to supporting Jeffries for leader or speaker are leftist insurgents, and I, I would just love to see them go.
Ket Abugazela, Abugazala, I hope I'm pronouncing it right, a left-wing influencer and journalist backed by Justice Democrats and the Sunrise Movement lost to Evanston Mayor Daniel Biss in the closely watched race in Illinois' 9th district.
Biss and Abugazala were both opposed by APAC, whose proxy, elect Chicago in, spent millions in support of pro-Israel state senator Laura Fine, who came in third.
But APAC pivoted in the final week of the campaign to focusing its fire on the more pro-Palestinian Abugazala than Biss, who was backed by the Congressional Progressive Caucus and Senator Elizabeth Warren.
Another APAC affiliate, Chicago Progressive Partnership, ran ads painting Abugazala as a closet Republican and boosting a lower-tier leftist in the race, Bushra Amawala.
A similar story played in the 8th District, where progressive Junaid Ahmad Ahmed lost to moderate former rep Melissa Bean, the pick of both APAC and crypto and AI affiliated PACs.
This is wild.
Unlike Abugazala, however, Ahmed was supported by both CPC and Warren, as well as Justice Democrat Senator Bernie Sanders and a local Democratic Socialists of America chapter.
In Illinois' 2nd District, Progressive State Senator Robert Peters came in a distant third by an APAC-backed Cooked County Commissioner, Donna Miller, and former rep Jesse Jackson Jr.
And in the 7th district, CPC-backed labor leader Anthony Driver Jr. and progressive organizer Keena Collins finished third and fourth.
The race was won by state rep LaShawn Ford, who edged out APAC-backed Chicago treasurer Melissa Conyers-Irvin.
Life looks pretty good, APAC said in a post on X, boasting that Illinois voters rejected far-left would-be squad members who centered their campaigns on attacking Israel.
On the 9th District, they said another post, while disappointed Laura Fine didn't prevail.
The pro-Israel community is proud to have helped defeat would-be squad members Katabugazela and Bushra Amawala.
Left-wing groups focused on the money spent by APAC and AI and crypto-affiliated PACs, also knowing that many of the ads those groups ran touted the more moderate candidates as progressive fighters while trying to undermine the left-wing bona fides of their leftist rivals.
We have the story from the Daily Mail, which lays it out in a little bit of a different way.
Woke Democrat, 26, who can't get out of bed in time for meetings, loses primary to professor accused of inappropriate relationship by former student.
Man.
Well, well, well.
What interesting times are these?
But I think it gets laid out pretty well by Angela Vander Plum on X, who says, Katu Bugazela loses Illinois 9th.
Junaid Ahmed loses Illinois 8th.
Keenana Collins loses Illinois 7th.
Joey Rusevich loses the 6th.
Robert Peters the 2nd.
Progressivism loses in every race in Illinois, followed by a, ha.
Guys, I'm just going to say it.
I'm biased.
I'm absolutely biased.
I long for a Democratic Party of moderates.
That's really, really it.
I do.
I love it when, you know, like I sit down with an conservative individual.
We disagree on things.
You know, Glenn Beck, I always had this conversation I had with Glenn Beck where I had a more traditional Democrat, like 90s view of abortion.
It's wrong.
It shouldn't be used as contraception.
There are certain circumstances where it's going to have to be up to the woman and the doctor, but I do think it's wrong.
And Glenn Beck, the more, well, no, I'm pro-life.
I don't think we can allow this.
And we overwhelmingly agree.
We just kind of view it in a different way.
I love that.
That we're Americans.
We love America.
We want this country to do better.
We disagree on some things.
I would love it if we had a Democratic Party that was basically like that.
We're all friends.
We get along.
We disagree on some things.
Instead, what we've had for a long time is, well, you've got mega Republicans that largely want this country to be what this country was.
I'm sorry, in the 90s.
Donald Trump is basically like a Bill Clinton-esque politician.
His policies are very reminiscent of the 90s Bill Clinton.
And so a lot of these working class individuals who vote for him want that moderate world back.
They want secure borders.
They want American manufacturing.
None of that is controversial.
But when you look to the progressive Democrats, you don't get any of that.
Now, Nate Silver says, there's plenty of appetite for progressivism within the Democratic electorate, but the very online version of it doesn't really travel well.
Indeed, I agree, because Daniel Biss, as he's highlighting, is not a moderate.
He's just not one of these whack-a-loons who goes and fights with ICE.
Maybe he does.
I don't know, but I didn't see that.
And Katu Bugazela, while many people are pointing out that in fact, she would have won, progressives would have won, but Laura Fine and Katu Bugazela split the vote.
I don't know that I necessarily believe that, because I do believe that APAC, as they pointed out, wanted Laura Fine, but believe whatever you want, I suppose.
Diabetes, Insulin, and Politics 00:14:33
tim pool
And we've got it right here from Robbie Suave.
The left says Katabugazela lost because she was too moderate Democrat, and the moderate Dems think she lost because she's too left.
You've got this from Ryan Grimm quoting another tweet where Ettinger says, wow, infuriating.
We all know whose fault this is for not dropping out.
That's right, Laura Fine for not allowing Kat to consolidate the pro-war vote.
unidentified
Huh?
tim pool
Then you've got Ryan Grimm saying, you cannot consolidate the progressive vote today while Sabre rattling war with China.
That era is over.
You then have Alex Colston saying, the one constructive thing I will offer is that I simply think if you're going to take on the democratic machinery from the left, you have to be unapologetic and politically coherent without trying to pander and triangle yourself into vague half measures, blah, blah, blah.
Tim Miller says, Kat Abugazala lost because she wasn't unapologetically leftist enough is the type of take you can only really get cooked up on X.com.
Never change.
My oh my.
Well, let me play you this clip from CNN, which breaks down exactly why Kat Abugazala and the progressives lose.
Let me put it simply for you.
Do you think, honest question, and you guys can comment below, non-citizens who entered the country illegally, see, I'm being very, I'm being generous here, should get access to public funding for medical benefits.
I know most older people are going to be like, my benefits are already low.
Why should we give them to people who aren't citizens?
But listen to this.
unidentified
Everyone deserves health care.
scott jennings
Even illegals?
unidentified
Every single person in the world deserves it.
scott jennings
Just for the record, as a candidate, you're for illegal aliens getting Medicaid.
unidentified
I think everyone in the world deserves health care.
That's a yes.
That's a yes.
tim pool
That's a democratic position.
It is a yes, but yeah.
unidentified
It's a democratic position.
scott jennings
The illegal aliens should get medical.
tim pool
But I mean, I mean, I don't.
How is that controversial?
Guys, I am in favor of what I describe as universal basic health care.
Let me explain what that means.
I differentiate it from universal health care because some things can't be treated.
That's why it doesn't make sense, right?
Somebody's got this rare form of cancer and you're like, we're going to put them in medical care for eternity and spend millions of dollars on this, but they're not going to make it anyway.
Now, I understand that's sad, okay?
I understand that we don't want people to die, but we can't cure literally every disease or ailment.
It's just not possible.
That being said, there are stories of people who died because they didn't have insulin or because they got the flu.
And that's crazy.
We can do it.
We can make it work.
Now, I'll admit, budget-wise, it's extremely difficult.
And I don't know that it's actually possible.
I would more say I'm in favor of a system by which, at least right now, we come together, we explore the possibility.
Can we, if somebody has diabetes and they're dying, can we provide for them insulin?
I understand that at a certain point, the scale becomes so massive that you're providing medications for literally everybody.
The question is, is the treatment cheap enough so that it's negligible?
Because I got to be honest, the idea of someone dying because they didn't have a couple hundred bucks for insulin horrifies me.
And I would gladly give the money to somebody who said, please, I need a couple hundred bucks to live.
I'd be like, yes, done, no problem.
I don't want to force people to do it.
But the issue that I largely have with universal healthcare is morbid obesity, laziness, unhealthy behavior, smoking, drug abuse, et cetera.
So I don't want to pay for those things.
That's where the issue comes in.
So how about this?
Universal basic healthcare.
We're not going to cover the cost of advanced diseases that are rare and hard to treat, but if you break an arm, we'll set it.
If you have the flu, we'll give you Tamiflu.
If you submit to yearly physicals and maintain proper health markers.
How does that sound?
But anyway, I digress.
That's my opinion.
And the reason I bring it up is because if a Democrat came out and said, this is the system I want to strive for, I know it'll be difficult to fund, but I'd like to have those negotiations.
I'd be like, thank you.
That sounds reasonable.
Instead, we get this.
scott jennings
That wasn't controversial.
unidentified
I wasn't controversial.
abby phillip
What do you think pays for health care when undocumented people show up at a hospital?
tim pool
Who pays for that?
We all pay for it.
We all pay for it because they actually contribute.
unidentified
That's the point.
That's the point.
We do realize that I'm undocumented.
tim pool
This is CNN.
They're supposed to be news.
They're supposed to be moderate.
When someone goes to a hospital and they get treated and don't pay for it, it jacks the price up for everybody else.
And our healthcare system is completely broken.
So no, we cannot guarantee the labor of individuals, specialists, nonetheless, nurses and doctors, to individuals who just should appear illegally when our own people are struggling with it.
You know what?
This is what I'm talking about with like 90s Aries Clinton, 90s Aris Clinton.
Close the border down, right?
We allow for illegal immigration at controlled rates to make sure that we're not flooding the zone and hurting resources that we need for our brothers and sisters, our citizens.
And then maybe we can pull it off.
scott jennings
Who pays for the welfare system of this country generally?
unidentified
Taxpayers and practicals.
scott jennings
Are they foreign or not?
Can I start my logic training?
unidentified
Are you forward or not?
scott jennings
My logic train starts with the fact that I don't want to kick 11 million people off illegal aliens on or not.
tim pool
Do I want to, first of all, do I want undocumented citizens to have health care?
The answer is yes.
scott jennings
More Democrats.
unidentified
Do you want them to not get insulin if they're diabetic?
scott jennings
I want Medicaid to exist first and foremost for American citizens who need it.
unidentified
What about second?
How about this?
tim pool
When the people that are people are picking your peaches.
I'm going to say it very, very simply for all of you.
If you came to me and said, here is an illegal immigrant, he has entered the country illegally, intentionally breaking your laws, and we are now going to put him in line to receive medical benefits.
I would say take him off, place him on a plane, and send him home.
That is mercy.
The idea that you would have an American citizen die of diabetes, which has happened from complications due to diabetes, they can't get insulin, and then argue that illegal immigrants should deserve that is shocking to me.
And that is controversial.
unidentified
Yeah, I'm passionate about American for the illegals.
No, I'm passionate for immigration.
tim pool
Why do you want people to be alive?
unidentified
How dare you?
I'm passionate for the illegals.
scott jennings
Bring more.
No, I actually want to need more.
To make your vision of America work, we need more illegals who get more benefits.
That's your version of America.
tim pool
No, what I want from America is a place that was promised to us, Scott, to the electoral.
No, it was promised to us.
It was promised to us, not us, me and you, black and white, brown.
Scott, do you think that your family was born here?
You weren't born here, Scott.
unidentified
I was born in.
Where did your family come from?
tim pool
My family wasn't born here.
My family was actually from Sierra Leone.
unidentified
Scott, you're making money.
tim pool
This is the insanity of the Democratic Party and that CNN is trying to entertain this as though it's middle of the road is absolutely insane.
Absolutely, absolutely insane.
Scott Jennings, the mask came off last night.
Scott is the moderate in this situation, the moderate.
He's not arguing for anything crazy or fringe or far left or far right.
He's just saying Medicaid should be for American citizens.
In fact, the more conservative position would probably be that we should cut the benefits to Medicaid because it creates a welfare system.
That's a problem.
In the middle of the road, the moderate position is just have it for Americans.
And this is the problem that I have.
The argument presented by these progressives, and again, this is not Kat Ubuzela, but she was in that.
That's why I bring it up, is that we are not from here.
Well, let me tell you, I'm from here.
I was born in Chicago.
My dad was born in America.
My mom was born in America.
And yeah, I'm from here.
Now, certainly I have an Asian grandmother, but the point is this.
Are we going to go to every single country ever and then track back how long you've been here and then do a seniority thing?
Well, let's see.
You're eighth generation German, but your neighbor is seventh and he actually came from France, so you don't get benefits.
That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard.
Now, the Washington Post breaks it down saying Illinois shows Democratic voters aren't ready to march off a cliff.
And I would like to give a round of applause.
Thank you, Illinois, for saying no to these whack-aloons.
Not that I think the Democratic Party is all that great, mind you, because every Democrat is still in favor of crazy policies, abortion to the point of birth.
Don't believe me, guys, please just look up Colorado.
I go to my friends and I tell them, look, I'm like 90s pro-choice, right?
Meaning, I don't like abortion.
I think it's wrong.
It should not be used as contraception.
It should be restricted to a certain point.
But there are complications where a pregnancy may be terminated, but I don't think it makes sense to have to go get a writ from a judge.
I don't want abortion to happen.
I don't want women terminating pregnancies for no reason.
We agree with that with the pro-lifers, but then there's a functional element there.
I go and talk to my friends this, and I tell them this, and they say there is no such thing as unrestrained abortion to the point of birth.
And I'm like, yeah, Virginia tried passing it.
Colorado did pass it.
California's got it.
There's a bunch of states that have this where you can abort the baby at nine months.
They go, it never happens.
And I'm like, okay, fine.
We're in agreement.
It doesn't happen.
So let's just ban it then.
unidentified
No.
tim pool
But if it doesn't happen, who cares?
Like, if I said we're to pass a law making it illegal to, I don't know, like surf on the sun, people would be like, but that's impossible.
Agreed.
It never happens.
So why?
Who cares?
Right?
If it never happens, why not just say don't allow it to happen?
Well, the truth is they know it happens and they're lying.
Washington Post says Democratic primaries lately have been like a high wire circus act that's always on the cusp of falling, but never does.
Tuesday's primaries in Illinois were another win for the center-left Democratic establishment against more progressive or outsider elements.
Overall, its candidates continue to lean left, but the party is mostly avoiding a tumble into the abyss.
The hotly contested race Tuesday for Illinois' 9th District, blah, blah, blah.
unidentified
We get it.
tim pool
We get the point.
We know the point that they're trying to make.
I want to show you this.
This is a clip of the New York governor, Kathy Oakle.
I didn't believe it until I saw the video, says Gregory Kennedy.
The governor of New York is begging rich people to move back to funder social programs.
So like, I guess there are consequences for overtaxation after all.
kathy hochul
I know New Yorkers are exasperated.
They feel that everything's stacked against them.
They're not getting ahead.
Their rents are too damn high.
Their child care costs are high.
Their utility bills.
And thank you to Washington.
We're going to have higher prices at the pump.
We already do.
Everything just seems so hard for people.
So I understand that frustration.
You should join me in the North Country yesterday in Ogdensburg and Watertown.
And people are so upset about the tariffs, raising the cost of everything.
So there is this anxiety, which is real, and we're continuing to address the affordability crisis, which I believe should be the number one priority of this legislative session.
What can we do to take off some of that pain that New Yorkers are feeling that I hear about literally every day?
What I want to make sure we are smart about is having a system in place where it's not just taxing for the sake of taxing and being conscious of the facts that I need people who are high net worth to support the generous social programs that we want to have in our state.
tim pool
Indeed, you do.
My friends, I brought this up last week.
I was asked by a big company as, let me just explain what's going on in the media space.
Big companies are looking to buy up smaller companies because they know that the narrative machine is dead.
They know that network television is dead.
I had a company reach out and say, would you be interested in strategic investment?
And I will stress that we absolutely are.
We're a mom-and-pop shop, and we've grown as large as we can go as independents, as individuals.
So we need help from people who know how to network and grow stuff.
Like, for instance, our audio side has always been lacking.
Audio, it's now video, but like our podcast distribution.
And they said, we'd be interested in working with you.
And I was like, you know, I'm always interested to hear what people have to say.
And they said, would you be interested in working out of New York?
I said, it's never going to happen.
And they said, really?
New York's got a great opportunity.
It's a great opportunity.
We have space available.
It would lower your costs.
It would help a network.
And I said, New York's taxes are prohibitive.
We would lose money by going there.
And so it's just not worth it at all.
And they're like, okay.
And as an aside, I will just say this.
Some people may be like, what do you mean, Tim, you're talking with investors?
We've been talking with investors for six years, right?
They always come around.
And I've told stories of going to these networking meetings where I'm like, I throw the contract in the garbage.
So these conversations always happen.
And I was like, yeah, Texas is a maybe, right?
I was going to say, but New York is no way.
Florida's a maybe.
Texas is a maybe.
Or we might just stay in West Virginia.
Who knows?
But it is true that we have been, you know, companies have reached out to us.
I'll put it like that.
But that's an aside.
That's an aside.
Kelshi with the current prediction market.
The Democratic Party currently has an 84% chance to win.
My friends, you see how close it got with Republicans jumping up?
This was an amazing period last October where we said maybe the Republicans can buck the trend with tremendous victories.
It can be one of the first times in our lifetimes, if not the first time, that the president's party doesn't lose control of the House in the midterm, which they usually do because people get upset, they blame who's in power, and they vote the other way.
Well, my friends, the prediction market is at least saying right now, Democrats is going to take it.
And that's bad news for Donald Trump.
However, the New York Times says Trump's gutting of election security fuels worries for the midterms.
Not for me.
Officials say the crippling of the cybersecurity and infrastructure security agency, which the president himself created, could open elections to cyber attacks and foreign influence.
Really?
Well, they're going to make the argument that Trump is playing dirty games.
The Daily Beast says Trump ally 80 masterminding major midterm shakeup plot.
Right.
If the Republicans actually end up winning, they're going to claim it's one big con and that Trump cheated because this is the game that's being played these days.
That's why you often hear me talk about civil war, because nobody can just win.
Trump wins in 2016.
Russia did it.
Biden wins in 2020.
China, Venezuela, whoever you want to blame, did it.
Then Trump wins in 2024.
And yes, yes, my friends, there are communities online on Reddit with thousands of followers claiming the 2024 election was stolen.
It's not as pronounced.
Trump won fairly cleanly.
So maybe we will get away from this and just have a regular election for once.
The progressives have lost.
Maybe it'll be boring in November.
I know we're going to have an extended Timcast IRL for you.
We're going to order pizza and wings and we're going to drink and, you know, drink soda, pop.
Talking about Mountain Dews, baby.
You know, we're going to be drinking and watching the results.
But hopefully it's uneventful, just like 2024 was.
We thought, so we went down to Nashville to hang out with the Daily Wire for election night.
They asked if I would want to come on their election stream and I said, well, what if we did the show there?
And they said, yes, it'd be cool.
And then I said, hold on, I just thought of something.
What if it takes like a week to get the results?
Election Night in Nashville 00:06:26
tim pool
They were like, that's a good point.
And they were like, you guys can come and work.
We'll set you up for the week.
And then I said, that'll be great.
We'll do the whole week there just in case.
And that way we have the weekend to travel back if we still don't have the results.
And then it was like within two hours, they're like, Trump wins.
And we were like, what?
And everybody was just like, holy crap, Trump just won.
So hopefully we get something like that.
But take a look at this.
University of Arkansas TPUSA chapter dissolves rebrands as Young American Revival.
There is a change happening.
They said, after discussion with my executive board, we have come to the unanimous decision to dissolve our affiliation with Turning Point USA and rebrand our registered student organization under our own label, Young American Revival at the University of Arkansas.
We have many grievances with Turning Point USA, which we will shortly make known to them in private, but I will share only one.
We are generally put off by how Charlie Kirk has been used by TPUSA since his assassination.
Statements like Charlie would have said and Charlie would have wanted have felt in many instances disingenuous and manipulative.
Charlie Kirk cannot speak for himself anymore.
And we do not recognize the way others have attempted to speak for him.
It's interesting.
What I will simply say is this, whatever your opinion on Turning Point USA is, I had warned this in the past, and I'm going to say it.
People at Turning Point USA got mad at me personally, resulting in my disinvitation, despite being at Amfest the past three years in a row on stage doing Timcast IRL.
We were disinvited because I said there are people who feel Turning Point can't survive without Charlie.
And of course, after announcing that I was going to come, many of my friends who still work with Turning Point were like, Tim, no, no, we're going to resolve this.
This shouldn't have happened.
And I said, guys, it's just not the same.
And in many ways, I understand exactly what these young people are saying.
And I feel that there's a bit of a motivation overlap between why I said, we're just not going to go.
They were very nice to me.
Erica was very nice to me.
They said, you know, we're sorry, this shouldn't have happened.
Please come.
And I just said, guys, I'm not interested, right?
I appreciate it, but I'm not going to come crawling back.
If you guys didn't want to have me and you booked our slot, it's not happening.
And here's what I said.
I told Charlie the year prior, he had the makings of the next South by Southwest.
Phoenix in December was turning into a hotspot.
James O'Keefe's parties had lines wrapping around the block.
What a privilege and honor that James would walk me into the private backdoor entrance VIP.
James, you are a gentleman and a scholar.
It is a privilege to be involved and be welcome at your parties.
And he had me play music, and he asked me to again last year.
And it makes me, I am humbled.
I am genuinely humbled.
We were going to throw a party in Phoenix.
We were going to do the Timcast party.
The Daily Wire had a party.
And I was just so inspired.
I said, guys, it's going to be amazing.
I mean, for this five-day period, you're going to have people from all different backgrounds.
I mean, you might even get liberals and libertarians showing up to have this political influence.
Charlie and Turning Point have built something amazing.
And then all this went down.
And I said, it seems like Turning Point's focus has shifted away from the big tent coalition and towards traditional conservatism, which is going to ice out people like me, whether intentionally or otherwise.
And you know what it seemed is that the slot that I normally had for Timcast IRL was a big slot.
I get it.
And it was filled with men in suits talking about conservative issues.
And that was always my challenge was that a lot of Turning Point USA Amfest was men in suits coming out and talking about the same thing.
But Charlie knew this.
So he brought on people like Jenk Uger, in which case you brought an eclectic bunch.
And he came on my show where you have Luke Rudkowski, a more anarchist libertarian type, and Ian Crossland, God knows what he is, because he knew that these conversations needed to happen and he was welcome to having them.
Without him, as one of the most prominent voices and organizations rallying young people to vote, I'm curious if the Republican Party can muster up enough to actually win this midterm.
Now, I don't know.
We will see, but the times they are a changing.
James Carville, on the other hand, says Trump's going to leave office next year out of frustration after losing the midterms.
James, what have you been right about in the past 20 years?
Come on, spare me.
Trump's not going to leave office.
He's going to be frustrated about the midterms, but there is still, I got to give it, it's a funny story.
There are rumors going around that Trump is preparing a third term because on the White House, it says Trump 2024 and on.
And they're saying, oh my God, he should put 25 to 29.
That's his term.
But because he didn't cap it, it means he's going to run again.
And then other leftists came out and they're like, no, it means he's going to resign early.
So he hasn't put the date yet.
And I'm just like, oh, my God.
Well, I have no idea what's going to happen.
But to be honest, and I don't mean this in any way derisively to Trump, I wouldn't be surprised if he did resign and hand things over to JD Vance.
There have been some bubblings up in the Beltway that JD Vance's best chance at the presidency would actually be a Trump resignation.
And it's not entirely out of the question as Trump is an old man.
In fact, he is currently, I believe he's the oldest president we've ever had at this point.
But again, that's not to say derisively, like Trump would bow in shame.
No, he may just say, I want to be with my family.
I think the probability of that is remarkably low, but there are some people who do believe that is a possibility.
In the meantime, I can only say this.
Several years ago, it's about eight years ago, I believe it was when AOC won, I celebrated.
I said, I am sick of the uniparty shills and the garbage in Congress.
So to see these people get primaried was a welcome sight.
Then we saw what AOC actually was, and she's a grifter and she's a liar.
She fabricated that fake January 6th story, among other things.
And now I'm just going like, ooh, maybe I was wrong about that, huh?
So when I see the progressives actually lose, I say, you know what?
I will take it.
I will take it.
These people are nuts.
I'm not going to say the system is perfect and Congress is entirely dysfunctional, but some normalcy would be nice.
I'm going to leave there, my friends.
