In fact, right now, you've got a federal judge who denies Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan the motion to dismiss ICE obstruction case.
She wanted to have it just dismissed out of court.

Well, she tried very hard to get this case dismissed, and Hannah Dugan is not entitled to dismiss her federal case on a judicial immunity claim.
Dugan moved to dismiss the indictment under Fed R. Crim P12B on the grounds that she, as a judge, is immune from criminal prosecution for judicial acts and that her prosecution violates the limits of federal power under the 10th Amendment, and that the indictment could be dismissed under the canon of constitutional avoidance.
Okay, that did not happen.
So on Tuesday, she tried this, and this Bill Clinton appointee said that she has absolutely no basis to be granted immunity from prosecution.

So the Commerce Secretary, Howard Luttnick, he announced on Monday that the National Institute of Standards and Technology will operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center, booting the National Center for Advancement of Semiconductor Technology Center known as NatCast.
As noted by the New York Post, the CHIPS Act called for the Commerce Department's NSRTC to dole out $11 billion in semiconductor research for funding.
But what was not required was the way in which NATCAST was created to provide soft landings for the Biden administration employees, Lutnick said.
So he said that it was basically a slush fund that did nothing but line the pockets of Biden loyalists with American tax dollars and said that according to the news release on the Commerce Department's website, that Biden had no authority to manipulate legislation in a way that would allow them to establish staff and govern a corporation to act as a government agency.
So ending this illegal relationship between NATCAS and the NSTC will ensure that the Commerce Department keeps control of taxpayer funds and delivers investments and benefits for all Americans.
They're really a piece of work.
The Biden administration, the Obama administration, they really knew exactly how they could get as much money as they could from the American taxpayer.

So they're on leave now because they signed the letter sent to FEMA Review Council and Congress on Monday critiquing recent cuts to agency staff and programs and warning that FEMA's capacity to respond to a major disaster was dangerously diminished.
So 35 signed their names while 141 signed anonymously for fear of retribution.
The Associated Press confirmed that at least two of the signatories received notices Tuesday evening informing them that they would be placed on leave indefinitely with pay and that they must still check in every morning confirming their availability.
It was unclear what the status was for the other signatories, but the notice said the decision is not disciplinary action and it is not intended to be punitive.
They just said, hey, you can't do it.
