It all was preventable if he would have done his job, if he would have listened just to President Trump four years ago, and even years before that, people were even talking about, including Trump, about what's going to happen.
He gets up there with his slick back hair and he's waiting for that money shot and it's disgusting.

We don't have that to rebuild these neighborhoods and it's not going to happen overnight.
This is going to be a process.

To haul that many gear and how many trips they're going to have to take to wherever they can dump this much complete garbage.

And all the sewer systems are going to have to be gutted back up again.
All the roads that are damaged.
That stuff's got to go somewhere.

The fact that these two are still in office and that they're running things, they were the ones that ran this to begin with.

They don't have no idea what they're doing.

He is in custody on a probation violation, and he has not been charged for setting fires.

These people are not in law enforcement.

You can't just burn wet wood.
It doesn't burn like that, especially in a fire that goes really fast.

You take a forest and somebody, I saw a picture today of somebody in a California forest just showing he couldn't even walk through it.
All the deadwood from 20, 30 years where they just won't come to do anything with it.
And so you got all that deadwood.
It's kindling.
You ever made a fire?
So you got the whole forest floor is filled with kindling.
You do control burns, right?
You do control burns and keep doing them.
You'll get all the big stuff out.
And then every year as you do control burns, there's not a lot to burn then.
It's a lot easier to do.
But then you've got nothing but green trees.
And I'm going to tell you something, burning is healthy for a forest.
Burning because it's healthy, man.
You'll come back there three weeks later, you'll see the greenest grass you've ever seen in your life in the summer.
And they know this because we've experienced this year after year after year.
I mean, and your point about the trees, of course.

So if it's blowing over 10 miles an hour, 5 miles an hour with these controlled burns around there, you can't do them when the winds blow or when there's going to be wind in the future.
You get it when it's a real calm day and they'll go out here, or even when it's like a real light, cloudy, sprinkly day, or like you say, after the rains come.
When everything's a little bit wet, but you can still burn, it's not soaked, you know, it's still really dry, dead wood, and you can still do it, and they know how to do these controlled burns, and they get out of hand sometimes, but very, very rarely, because they do them, they just look at the weather, and they can do them, and they know how to do them, and they have all these people on four-wheel drives out there, they have fire department ready, all these, you know, safeties, and so it can't get out of control.
And they just do a little bit at a time.
They didn't want to spend the money.
There's nothing to catch fire.
When there's nothing to catch fire, believe me, this is all arson.
Global warming is just like, oh, it's spontaneous, human, just combusting.
It's so hot in California right now in the winter that it's just like the little pockets of fire are just popping up, man, out of the earth because it's boiling like lava.
