And so, today I'm happy to report that the House resoundingly defeated a rule that would have allowed the consideration of the FISA renewal.
The vote, just so everybody knows, was 193 to 228.
19 Republicans voted no.
Speaker Johnson was just handed another massive defeat.
Johnson has said that he will now bring up a clean FISA extension next week.
The guy's a just oyster.
We don't want that either.
I know.
That's what this stupid guy does every time.
Oh, well, I know what the people want.
They just want Ukraine and Israel funded separately.
No, we don't want America.
We don't want any money going to wars.
We want it coming right here.
Good God.
We don't want the FISA. What did they use against Trump?
They have permission without a warrant to spy on anybody you want.

You've got a breaking situation here with Paul Sperry, who's saying, The FBI opened a criminal investigation of Babbitt.

So, new documents that have been obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that the agents interviewed Babbitt acquaintances during the months-long probe.
They decided to investigate her.
She's a victim.
She is no longer living.
She was shot brutally by a Capitol Police officer that they never investigated.
And now they're investigating her?
So, the good news is, is that there's no statute of limitations for murder, meaning that perpetrators can be prosecuted at any time, even after years a crime has been committed.
So get ready, sir.
You will definitely be investigated, and hopefully, upon findings that we all know to be true, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
That's what I'm hoping for.
I'm not going to give anybody an excuse or a pass.

And it's just like, going back to the FISA thing, this is what the Republicans do.
I've said, oh look, nobody wanted the new FISA, which is worse than the old FISA, but we defeated it.

They have abused that power from hell and back again in every way you could abuse it, every time you could abuse it, on everybody they could abuse it too.
And they don't deserve to get it renewed.
My God, they used the FISA courts to illegally go after Trump and lie about everything.
We have been through it already with Russia, Russia, Russia.
In fact, Marjorie Taylor Greene, she put out this video.

I sent a letter out to my colleagues yesterday morning.
The current discussions in our conference meeting this morning is about FISA, but it's pretty clear and obvious and being whispered among the conference.
Mike Johnson does not have the support of the conference.
The letter that I sent has been well received, and it was basically speaking the quiet part out loud.
He's in there urging members to reauthorize FISA, and I don't think he has the votes for it right now, is what I'm gathering.
We're going to be working on this.
We do not believe in warrantless spying on the American people.
Especially when this bill carves out the ability for Congress to be notified when a member of Congress is going to be looked at through the FISA court.
That's completely unfair.
The same thing should apply for the American people.
But Mike Johnson doesn't have the trust of the conference and that's become very clear.
Are you going to vote against the rule today for the FISA bill?
I haven't openly decided to do that.
There's a classified briefing at 2 o'clock and then there's also a briefing at 3 o'clock by judiciary.
The rule votes at 1.30 though?
Yes, there's still a lot of conversations going on.

I don't think it's fair for the FBI to be able to spy on the American people.
And what's set up here, the explanation that we've been given, is all of the things laid out and penalties if the FBI were to warrantless spy on the American people.

The FBI has abused the American people's trust.
The DOJ has abused the American People's Trust.
So this doesn't give me confidence that it will stop it.

He's literally walking around with his hands out like he's like one of them old zombie movies, like a mummy with her hands out real slowly.

He literally looks like the 1935 mummy.

Here he is on inflation, just lying through his teeth.
Last month, you predicted the Federal Reserve would cut interest rates thanks to falling inflation, but today, data showed that inflation rose More than expected for the third straight month.
So how concerned are you about the fight against inflation stalling?
And do you stand by your prediction for a rate cut?
Well, I do stand by my prediction that before the year is out to be a rate cut.
It may delay a month or so.
I'm not sure of that.
We don't know what the Fed is going to do for certain.
But look, we have dramatically reduced inflation from 9% down to close to 3%.
We're in a situation where we're better situated than we were when we took office, where inflation was skyrocketing.
And we have a plan to deal with it, whereas the opposition talks about two things.
They just want to cut taxes for the wealthy and raise taxes on other people.
And so I think they have no plan.
Our plan is one, I think, is so sustainable.
Oh my gosh.
The guy is just a liar.
They want to cut taxes and raise taxes on everybody else.
Yeah, whatever.
That's all you guys do.
You know, if you've got a business and you want to get a business license and you want to get a bank account for your business license, you're going to have to at least get an LLC. So if you just say you want to make ribbons, And you want to be legal and you want to do it all through the law, then you've got to go get a business account.
You're going to have to register as an LLC at least.
And that's a corporation.
And guess what?
That's every single person that's got one.
If you're employed yourself and you do this, that's what they consider a corporation.
And that's how they get every single person that owns a business across this whole country and then pretend like it's some capitalist billionaire that owns Apple or something.

The reality is inflation has averaged 5.5% year-over-year under Biden and averaged 1.9% under President Trump.

The two things that matter to you most, they don't even count it.
In the inflation numbers.
That's the thing, though.
Look at the difference between Trump and Biden.
Okay, even borrowing that statistic, inflation has averaged a 5.5%.
That's why everybody's struggling year over year under Biden.
And under Trump, it was 1.9%.
If you're feeling the squeeze, it's Biden.
It's Bidenomics.
And they're already, all of them are worried about it.
I mean, you've got JP Morgan's Jamie Dimon.
Okay, the guy that would love to see himself in the Oval Office one day.
Be weary of this clown.

I mean, you're seeing him talk a lot lately, and it's because he would love to get over there.

So they're looking, I feel sure, they're still trying to figure out who out there would take Biden's spot because President Trump is dominating now.

He is getting the support of minorities.
He's getting the support of independence.
He's getting the support of even Democrats who are moving over.
They're saying, hmm.
And some of them, like The Rock, he's like, well, you know, I'm not even going to vote.

You saw him last week emerge saying that it was a mistake.
He puts his finger up in the air and tries to go what's popular so he can keep his millions coming in.
He's a total fraud.
Everything he's doing, though, is unpopular because everybody can see right on through it, starting with Hawaii and everything else when he put himself up there next to Oprah Winfrey.
Take a stand, for God's sake, you weaklings.
Well, and I mean, dig into your own pockets.
Don't dig into the people's pockets who are barely able to put food on their table at this moment in time.
I mean, this is the state we're in.
They are completely tone deaf.
So it shouldn't surprise you that National Public Radio Insider explains how the organization went full activist after Trump's 2018.
Just look at who they hired.

By requiring this question, the United States government will be able to collect accurate data on the makeup of our population.
The Census Bureau currently estimates the non-citizen population using survey data from the census administered American Community Survey.
But that data is not based on the entire population.
It's only an estimate and suffers from large margins of error.
In the past, opponents of a citizenship question have raised concerns that such a question will discourage participation in the census.
The theory being that some individuals will be reluctant to respond to the census, especially if they do not have a lawful immigration status.
My amendment in the nature of a substitute does not require respondents to indicate what immigration status they have or any other related demographic information.
We just want to know, very simply, are you a citizen or are you a non-citizen?
It's an easy question.
It isn't confusing and it doesn't reveal anything about an individual's specific immigration status.
Although the census will count and enumerate all individuals residing in the United States, HR 7109 would then ensure that only citizens are included in the apportionment base by which representation in Congress is allocated.
According to American Community Survey estimates, there are over 22 million non-citizens residing in the United States and the District of Columbia.
These are foreign nationals who have not naturalized and cannot vote in federal elections.
Non-citizens comprise nearly 7% of the total population of the United States.
7%.
But non-citizens are not evenly distributed among the states, and some states end up with greater representation in Congress based on a higher concentration of non-citizens.
This dilutes the one-person, one-vote principle for citizens in states with fewer non-citizens.
It is clear that Congress can and should ensure a fair apportionment I want to thank Representative Edwards, a former member of this committee.
