And let me tell you something.
They never cease to disappoint us.
They really don't.
Something happens to them when they go to Washington Deasley's and they just turn into different people because they're in a fishbowl and they're surrounded by media.
They don't know how to fight and win.
They don't understand the country's on the edge and they don't They're still playing their high and mighty games about why they can't do something.
The Democrats never do that.
The Democrats ever say, well, I wonder if that's constitutional.
I'm wondering, you know, this is a slippery slope.
We better not go there.

They just arrested their damn political opponent.

I mean, they had this chance to hammer Adam Schiff, who's a traitor to this country, who got up and lied in an impeachment hearing, who lied about the Russian hoax to the media, who lies, lies, lies.
He literally started an impeachment hoax with lying about every word Trump said on a phone call.

What I see is a little slippery slope, and I didn't like it because they had fines for masks.
This could come back on us in 2032, and every single time, they can't just push the button like the Democrats.

Man, they are arresting political opponents.
He went out and tried to destroy Trump's first term on lies that the FBI made up and then blamed Russia.

There should have been 20 people, 25 people just in that that was charged with treason and had military trials.
For setting up a president and framing him.
It's unbelievable.
And the fact that they aren't furious like we are, it lets me know exactly what side of the fence that they are on.
Because if they cared as much as we did, they would not let a day go by without bringing up Russia, Russia, Russia.
We just got the Durham report.
Everything that we said happened, happened.
And it absolutely was a clear case of them trying to sabotage President Trump's first term.
And then cheat him out and cheat all of us out of the midterms.
Cheat us out of the presidency.
And cheat us out of everything else that they've got going on up there with their comrades.

Because they are not beholden to we the people.
They are completely on their own side.
This is the establishment party.
And we are going to work as hard as we possibly can to get new people up there.
Because these people aren't doing their job.
And the fact that he would even say something like this.
What's a joke is thinking I will vote for something I believe is unconstitutional if I get enough phone calls asking me to.

We have got an illegitimate resident in the White House that can't even stand on his own two feet that has been taking bribes from foreign nationals of other countries.
Okay, when do you think you are going to get off it and start talking about the things that actually matter in this country, like people selling us down the stream?

He's going to sit there and ponder whether it's unconstitutional to call out someone as corrupt as Adam Schiff, who stood on the floor and read out something that was an absolute non-existent phone call.

Donald Trump is charged with a series of federal felonies for mishandling the most sensitive government documents that we have and for obstruction of justice, along with Walt Nauta, who is charged with intentionally setting up lies to the grand jury, to the FBI. Any way you look at this, and again, despite whatever may be going on in that restaurant, this case isn't going to be settled legally in a cafe.
It's going to be settled in the court based on the facts and law.
The folks in the control room, I don't need to see any more of that.
He's trying to turn it into a spectacle, into a campaign ad.
That's enough of that.
We've seen it already.
Let's go over again the 37 charges that Donald Trump is facing right now.
We don't have to go into each one.
But, Ellie, if you could basically detail what are the allegations here.
We have counts 1 to 31.
So he couldn't handle it.
He absolutely could not handle the fact that President Trump is so beloved by the American people and that we are going to do absolutely everything we can to make sure that he gets back in office.
I mean, we're going to use every single bit of our might and fight to make sure that a duly elected president is back in the position where he belongs and they're going to have to get through all of us.
This whole thing has backfired on them.

If they put him in jail, I cannot tell you what a legend he's going to be for, I mean, hundreds and hundreds of years in this country.

We're going to do it, of course, like Drano asked and suggested very peacefully because you certainly don't want to knock on your door, not with this FBI, but let them know how you feel about that and if they refuse to do their job Then we're going to make sure that we can find somebody that will next time around.
Because we have nothing to lose here.

You heard Vivek who was saying yesterday that all of the donors to all of these different candidates were told to stay away from Miami yesterday.
And look who they obeyed.
They obeyed the donors.
That's DeSantis.
That's all of them that were running.
And then today, now they're on this sprint to try to act like the charges against President Trump are some of the worst they've ever seen.
And they're playing into that hand, including Pence, who absolutely is guilty of this same exact thing.

But you're on record saying they're serious charges and they're concerning.

We begin our coverage with this background report by Kwame Holman.
In a front page story on February 13th, the Washington Post reported the Chinese government tried to influence the presidential election last November.
The story said the Justice Department had, quote, uncovered evidence that representatives of China sought to direct contributions from foreign sources to the Democratic National Committee before the 1996 presidential campaign.
Then, on February 28th, the Washington Post reported the FBI was investigating possible Chinese involvement in congressional elections.
And last Sunday, the Post reported the FBI had warned six members of Congress they had been targeted by China to receive illegal campaign contributions.
One of the members, Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, described the briefing she received from the FBI. The substance of it was that there were some credible sources that presented the FBI with the view that the Chinese may try and funnel contributions to various candidates.
That was it.
Do you know of anything that the Chinese government did specifically that can be talked about at this point?
I don't think a member of Congress would know if an overture was made, an intermediary had made a contribution whose source was the Chinese government.
I don't know of any facts that those contributions were made.
Now, once that warning was received, did any of it happen, as far as you know, in terms of you specifically?
Well, let me say this.
First of all, it was not my first briefing by the FBI about possible Chinese involvement in U.S. elections.
At the end of 91, beginning of 92, I was briefed by the FBI that there was the same thing, an attempt on the part of the Chinese to influence U.S. elections through intermediaries.
In public hearing with the Attorney General Barr at the time, I said that I had information from inside the Justice Department to that effect.
He said, well, get your information together.
I don't know anything about it.
I said, no, I don't have the information.
Your agency, your department has the information.
Imagine our shock and surprise that something like this has been going on for so long.
But that's exactly what's happened.
This is exactly why we're in the state we're in right now.
Politicians just like this one.
And notice they're both from California.
And this is how it starts.
It starts here.
They see if they can get away with it, and then they try it out all over the nation.
So now look at what's happening in Ukraine.
Look at what's happening in other areas.
I mean, this is a result of a corrupt regime.

And then secondarily, Given the historic and extraordinary nature of the case, explain to people, if you would, why this was the best and most appropriate step that was taken and why there were no other alternatives.

Yes, so my role is completely consistent with the regulations that set forth responsibilities to the Attorney General under the Special Counsel regulations, and I followed those regulations.
With respect to the second question, this again is asking for particulars.

And he needs to be investigated.
And he needs to be called into a hearing.
And he needs to be questioned in front of the American people.
