It's another week.
In the litter box.
I do feel like I'm in the litter box.
I'm trying to get my voice back, but nothing's working.
I know, but you're not the only one.
A lot of people say this one's hanging on a little bit longer.
This flu is a different one.
It's a real challenge to get through it.
All anyone is saying is make sure that you are completely hydrated and that you're just plain getting rest.
You're just going to have to get over it and just drink, drink, drink, drink fluids and pop vitamin C and do everything that you can to get well because it hangs on.
It hung on for me for five days.
Five days I had that thing that you've got.
I'm on number 10, so I don't want to hear it.
I was trying to make you feel better.
It's not bad.
I just, I got a sore throat, and it's just one little place in the back of my throat that's sore.
It's like as big as your thumbnail, and it's just her fingernail.
It's really small, but it just, man, it's hard to talk.
I know.
It's a dry cough, too.
That's how it affected me.
I couldn't talk at all.
I squeaked.
I didn't talk.
I squeaked.
You're a tennis star, super-duper in shape, don't drink, don't smoke, you know, young lady.

You know, little chubby old dude who drinks beer and don't exercise.
I don't know.
I'm sure you felt better than I have at times though, I'm sure.
As a result of all of that.
A lot of people wouldn't deny it.
I do.
I worked out the entire time I was sick and I did the show the entire time I was sick because that's just what I do.
And I just felt, I felt, it felt like it was poison.
So I just wanted to get it out of my system.
So I doubled up on everything.
Of course, when I hit the pillow at night, I was completely gone.
But I just wanted it out of my system.
I could totally tell there was something really wrong with that whole thing.
But you'll get better.
It's just going to take some time.
Everybody's different.
Everyone's different.
This is just one of the last five things that's happened to me, so I'm ready for the next one.
I know.
You have been through it.
Since April.
That's funny because I had the hospital stay and I hadn't even, you know, for a checkup or something, for going to a doctor, you know, being sick or anything.
I hadn't even been to the doctor in that three or four years.
Glad you went.
And I was like, well, when I had my thing, then I got taken by ambulance to the hospital for my blockage.
Right.
So, yeah, so that was in April, and it's just been one thing after a damn another.
That's what I get for not going to the doctor for five years.
It all piles up.
One, two, then another one, then another something, then another something.
But that's alright.
That's okay.
Then you have tin puppies and everything else and yeah, the range has only grown both in volume and in everything else that you're doing over there.
Work.

So today is the anniversary of Afghanistan pullout.
Put US right back where it started 20 years ago.
They want you to forget about what happened in Afghanistan.

Right back where we started, except we gave them $86 billion worth of equipment.

This Afghan government was going to collapse rapidly because of the way in which we got out.

And then after the 13 people, they got killed for no reason.
Then they droned a family with six children and killed them and then came out and pretended like it was some terrorist Taliban that had anything to do with killing the 13 people.
And then they just came out and lied about that, too.

Killed a whole family's worth of children.
And then you think they're ever compensated or anything?
Nope.
Just to try to make them look good and they lie about it.
Well, this is how the Obama and Biden administration spoke on it, the whole thing.

This Afghan government was going to collapse rapidly because of the way in which we got out.
I think of John Kennedy and the Bay of Pigs.
It unfolded quickly, and the president thought that everything would be fine, and that was not the case.
It has created a global crisis, quite frankly.
You cannot defend the execution here.
This has been a disaster.
Well, they clearly were caught off guard by the events of the last 72 hours.
How his decision was made to withdraw, but then its execution.
Which has been so far catastrophic.
Our national security is threatened.
This is a Dunkirk moment or perhaps a Saigon moment.
This tragedy was completely preventable.
Nobody wants the Saigon image and obviously we ended up with another Saigon image.
It's kind of like the Dunkirk evacuation.
We do have to regard the recent turn of events as creating a real risk of another terrorist organization, whether it's ISIS-K, al-Qaeda, trying to re-establish a foothold in Afghanistan.
It's a really rough time.
It didn't need to be this way.
The fact that there was little to no real planning done I'm left with some grave question in my mind about his ability, speaking about the president, to lead our nation as commander-in-chief, to have read this so wrong, or even worse, to have understood what was likely to happen and not care.
Admit the mistakes that were made.
So they were behind the curve from the beginning of the announcement.
The situation is absolutely heartbreaking.
It is tragic.
It's disastrous.
And the execution in particular does not speak to competencies.
They will provide a safe haven for Al-Qaeda.
It's a failure.
And he needs to own that failure.
He's the commander-in-chief.
It has emboldened violent Islamic radicals.
So they might be doing a little bit of high-fiving.

And I'll forget, not to mention, getting ones you want at the pharmacy.

Wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better.
Masks are protective.

There has not been any indication that putting a mask on and wearing a mask for a considerable period of time has any deleterious effects.
There are unintended consequences.
People keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.
And can you get some schmutz sort of staying inside there?

You do not need to wear a mask indoors if, in fact, you've been vaccinated.
Good that you're vaccinated, but in a situation where you have people indoors, particularly crowded, you should wear a mask.
So even if you are vaccinated, you should wear a mask.
If, in fact, you are vaccinated, fully vaccinated, you are protected, and you do not need to wear a mask outdoors or indoors.
When the children go out into the community, you want them to continue to wear masks.
You know, if you look at children outside, particularly when they're with the family, walking down the street, playing a game or what have you, don't have to wear a mask.
The Pediatric, the Academy of Pediatric actually makes that recommendation that children should be wearing masks from two years old.
Onward.
And you're asking now, if your child is a member of your household, can you walk outdoors with your child without a mask?

You know, it's the sort of behavior you might expect from ISIS, and it shouldn't shock the conscience of every American.

And refused to condemn white supremacists and hate groups like these two Michigan militia groups.

They gave us the address and phone number and email address of the presidential library of Barack Obama.

It's now a temporary facility, but it's a library, and certainly the National Archives keeps records on his behalf.

And I'm really happy, along with the Secretary, to announce today that we've closed a $535 million loan guarantee for Solyndra.
More than half a billion dollars.
This is the first in what the Secretary is going to be announcing.
The Department of Energy will be making available for more than 30 billion dollars in loan guarantees the Recovery Act is providing.
The loan to Solyndra will allow you to build a new manufacturing facility and with it almost immediately generate 3,000 new well-paying construction jobs.
And once your facility opens, there will be about 1,000 permanent new jobs here at Solyndra and in the surrounding business community, and hundreds more to install your growing output of solar panels throughout the country.
It's important.
It's important because these jobs are going to be permanent jobs.
These are the jobs of the future.
These are the green jobs.
These are the jobs that won't be exported.
But beyond that, by doing this work, you're also reducing carbon emissions just at the plant you're about to build by more than 100 metric tons, folks.
That's the equivalent.
I know you know it, but the rest of America may not.
That's the equivalent of pulling 25 million cars off the road.
They're exactly the kind of steps we need to take to make our air cleaner, to save money and to reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
And out there at Solyndra, you guys have...
