As you can see, we are still filming from home because we had a snowstorm in Nashville, which doesn't happen often, but here we are.
Alright, guys, I saw something circulating on Twitter yesterday, and I have to admit that it completely and utterly broke me.
I am just not the same woman that I was yesterday.
I also have to say my husband was right.
I have to admit that publicly.
He was very right about something.
I am now joining the non-tipping train because I've realized it's worse than white guilt.
Plus, later on, of course, we are going to cover the Iowa caucus results.
Not really any surprises except for one extreme surprise I'd like to point out.
All that and more today coming up on Candace Owens.
All right, where do I begin?
I was just producing Twitter, I guess X as we're calling it now, and I came across this post and it broke me.
It did. It broke me. Ashley St.
Clair broke me. She shared this.
She wrote, The charge is to keep employees healthy and happy and is apparently citywide to have customers cover health insurance for restaurant employees.
Now, what you are looking at, the picture that she attached, is obviously a receipt to some restaurant.
It is still suggesting that people tip either 18%, 20%, or 22%, which is already outrageous.
But then you can see where it's circled up top, it says LA Health 4%.
And it's already included on the bill.
It's already included. It's just a tax to keep the employees healthy and happy.
And you're supposed to be fine with that.
I don't even know what I would say if I received this receipt and saw that they had included a 4% Tax, because that's effectively what it is.
And then, of course, they're relying on most people not to even recognize it, right?
You're out, maybe you're having some drinks, you're eating.
Are you going to really read the fine print here that says, in case you're wondering, we're just randomly tipping our employees?
This is outrageous. And it has become increasingly outrageous, this culture of tipping in America.
And I am specifically highlighting America because my husband and I, this has been a long back forth debate, and I hope he doesn't watch this show, because I'm admitting that he...
He's right. He's been completely right.
And essentially, he didn't understand it.
He came here, obviously, we lived together, and he's like, why are Americans tipping like psychopaths?
And because I used to be a waiter, I would say, honey, no, you have to tip.
I used to be a waiter. We make essentially no money.
I think when I was a waitress, we were making $5.25 an hour, and the tip really meant something.
And I used to just lambast him.
You absolutely must tip.
15%. 18%, whatever it is, I was on team tipping.
But then I started to realize that I didn't quite understand what the hell I was tipping for.
You go to the coffee shop, right?
There's no service being provided.
At least with a waitress, they're busting their butts.
You know, they're cleaning off the tables.
Sometimes you're busting the tables, putting down the menus, have to be in a good mood all the time.
Even when you get a bad person and you're just like, oh God, this person's being a total jerk.
I still have to smile. What are they doing at a coffee shop?
What would you like? I would like an almond latte.
Okay, let me punch that in, sense that in.
Here you are, they turn that screen around, they're like 20% tip.
20% tip for what?
What have you done to deserve a tip?
It's completely and utterly outrageous.
This is your job. Your job is to take my order.
The barista's job is to make the coffee.
There is no additional service that is being provided here.
I'm not enjoying this. I'm not sitting in here.
It's gotten crazy, honestly.
My husband always made this argument.
It's a self-imposed tax.
You guys have been somehow brainwashed to feel guilty into self-imposed tax.
I didn't recognize it.
I now recognize that he is right.
If you think that's absurd, Can we talk about tipping culture and the weirdest place that you've ever been asked to tip really quick?
I went shopping for my wedding dress like a week and a half ago and I ended up finding my dress at the first store that I went to And I'm not joking.
When I went to go pay, they flipped their little iPad around and it asked for a tip.
When I tell you like I full-on froze, I just, I stood there and I think they saw like the blood leave my body.
I did not expect to have to like tip buying a wedding dress.
And mind you, the store was empty.
Like it was me, my best friend, and then the three people that worked there.
I think one was the owner and then just two stylists or something.
So it was just empty.
It was just Them three at the front and then me just paying and I think my best friend was to the side like looking at more dresses so like I just kind of stood there and luckily I speak a different language and my best friend bought a wedding dress at a different store um like sometime last year so in a different language I looked at her and I said hey did you tip when you bought your wedding dress and she was like no Utterly outrageous.
I can't even imagine.
Oh, okay. We're expecting you to pay thousands of dollars for your wedding dress, and here's an additional fee for simply trying it on, having us do our jobs and assist you while you're trying on a wedding dress.
Yes, let me... Flip the little iPad around and I expect you to tip us.
Guys, guys, I'm out.
I can't do it. Call me a monster.
I'm cold-hearted now when it comes to tipping culture.
Honestly, I look forward to them flipping the little iPad around and I just look at them in the face as I hit zero percent because you've done nothing additionally and I won't be made to pay you what this company should be paying you, obviously, because what we are doing, in fact, is we are paying their salaries.
That's what we're doing. Don't believe me?
Listen to this article. It reads, American tipping culture means employers only have to pay waiters $2 an hour.
Think about that. You open your business, and if you decide to take that risk in life and open a business, it obviously means that you must pay your employees.
Well, these people have recognized that we have been so suckered by tipping culture that all they have to do is rely on us to feel bad and will pay their employees.
Yeah, don't worry. Just worry about the expenses of keeping the lights on.
Worry about paying your rent.
And everyone else is going to pay your employees because they feel bad.
They're going to see that LA Health 4% and go, absolutely, I should be paying for your health care, not your employer.
No, it's on me to do that because I'm out at this restaurant.
Listen, if some of you guys are still feeling bad, and I do want to throw credit because Matt Walsh has been taking up the charge on this.
He really hasn't been the drum talking about the outrage of tipping culture.
I'm out. Like I said, I am completely out of this.
Call me a monster. Call me whatever you will.
My husband was right.
And that's all I'm going to say on that matter.

Okay, now it's time for some Topics du Jour.
First up, obviously, we need to cover the Iowa caucus.
No fun because there were no surprises.
You knew where I was standing.
I very much wanted to see Vivek take out either DeSantis or to take out Nikki Haley because
then it would really show that it was a fully America-first agenda.
That didn't happen.
Vivek took 8% of the vote and then he gracefully bowed out and it was graceful like his entire
campaign has been.
I remain a huge supporter of Vivek Ramaswamy.
I want to be early on the Vivek bandwagon.
I believe that he's the future of the Republican Party.
Now, parking that aside, Trump walked away, again, no surprises, with a historic landslide.
What does it mean? Well, the best take is that it means that people don't care that he's fighting
for felonies because everybody knows it's a farce. Like I said yesterday, everybody knows what's
happening. They are attempting to intervene on this election. They're attempting to problematize
him so much that his supporters will just get tired of him.
And apparently they have, we've all come and said that this is not acceptable because it should
not be acceptable in any country that claims to be a free country that has fair elections. Donald
Trump has now been fighting the state for about eight years. It's ridiculous. It needs
to end. But park that aside for a moment.
Let's just pay attention to something else that I think is worthy of our attention because it
is exactly what the Vake warned about and it makes me uncomfortable here. First and foremost,
as we know, they called the election very early for Donald Trump. And the reason that I find that
suspicious is only because the mainstream media hates Donald Trump?
And now all of a sudden it's like they want us to feel super confident.
And I just think that we should pay attention to the fact that Nikki Haley, despite finishing third behind Ron DeSantis, Ron DeSantis took 21% of the vote.
Nikki Haley took 90% of the vote.
She's acting like she came in second.
Look at this statement she made in a victory speech.
Again, despite finishing in third place.
Tonight, Iowa made this Republican primary a two-person race.
Does that sound to you like somebody who came in third place?
Even more bizarre is this tweet that she issued.
She wrote, We've had five great debates in this campaign.
Unfortunately, Donald Trump has ducked all of them.
He has nowhere left to hide.
The next debate I do will either be with Donald Trump or with Joe Biden.
I look forward to it.
I don't understand how you can come into third place and yet tell the public that your next debate
is going to be with Joe Biden.
That makes entirely no sense unless she knows something that we don't know.
Now, again, Vivek was just giving everybody his instincts, and he said that he felt like Nikki Haley was a puppet.
She is. We obviously recognize that.
A deep-state puppet, absolutely.
Military-industrial-complex puppet, without question.
And that she already knows that it's going to come down to Donald Trump and her.
He thinks that DeSantis is going to drop out.
She's speaking like she knows DeSantis is going to drop out.
And then he expects them to make this a Haley versus Trump election,
and they're somehow going to get rid of Donald Trump.
Well, the way that she is acting now, I believe, gives more credence to that claim.
I think this is the craziest thing that happened last night.
This is, to me, the only surprise that happened following the Iowa caucus.
It's the way that Nikki Haley is behaving, and i think that all republicans should pay attention to it
Now, Vivek Ramaswamy is already set to join Donald Trump in New Hampshire next.
Obviously, he is going to be campaigning with him.
And I really hope that the Trump campaign recognizes that he is a star.
He is absolutely brilliant, hands down, as I have said, the smartest person that is running,
and that they could use him, and not just for campaign purposes,
but also in the White House, if that's where Donald Trump ends up.
And as I said yesterday, Donald Trump is obviously the presumptive nominee.
I will be supporting him.
I will never support Nikki Haley and DeSantis.
Unfortunately, your online Gator crew just ruined it, you know, so likable as a governor in Florida.
And then I don't know what those influencers were doing with the Gators in their profile,
going after everybody with the nastiness.
As you said, we're going to be above petty politics.
And then it was just absolutely the pettiest.
And the treatment of Trump supporters was egregious.
It shouldn't have happened. And it's why it earned you no favor.
You can take that or you can leave that.
But you guys seem to be licking your wounds.
In fact, DeSantis' campaign is now claiming that there was election fraud, one of the things that they mocked Donald Trump for.
So there you have it.
We will obviously continue to see what happens next.
All right, guys. Now, as a reminder, I am very much in favor of following hoe culture.
I've been fascinated by hoes, the hoe-pocalypse that we are facing.
It's amazing to follow these women in the way that they think.
And chief among them right now is Ariana Grande.
We covered what she's been up to.
She has been proud of being a homewrecker really throughout her entire career.
You got a boyfriend, you got a husband, Ariana Grande is going to go after them.
And then, haha, I don't care you.
When everything happens and the dust settles, she does not care about ruining your relationship.
Nothing more disgusting than what she did recently.
She was working on Wicked.
I think it's either a movie or a play that's coming out, and she's playing Glinda the Good Witch, and she had this really unfortunate-looking guy that was playing a part—I don't even know what it was—as a munchkin who cares, right?
And But he was married.
And he was married to his high school sweetheart.
Her name is Lily J. And they had just had their first child after being together for almost a decade.
But that, of course, didn't stop Ariana Grande.
Why didn't it stop Ariana Grande?
Because that actually excites her.
I actually think that she suffers from some random hove disorder where she actually likes it when a man is taken.
She's like, mm, I like that.
I want to just, mmm, I need that.
She just turned on by it in a weird way.
She didn't care about it. He was ugly, nothing.
She just said, I want to break up this family.
And Lily J actually, or via her friends, announced that Ariana Grande actually held their baby.
So I want you to think about the level of hoe you need to be at to hold somebody's brand new baby that came out.
And I go, oh my god, he's so cute.
And now I'm going to take the father.
She did that. She actually did that.
And if you thought that was egregious, Ariana Grande taking Ethan Slater from his high school sweetheart and him recently being a father, and by the way, not even going to talk about him, he's such a weak man, he disgusts me, he's not even worth discussing, is the fact that she now has come out with a song that basically celebrates her home-wrecking capabilities.
She's just like, and?
I don't care. Yeah, the song is entitled, Yes, And?
I'll give you guys the full sentence.
She means, yes, I took your husband.
I took the father of your children.
And so what?
And I'm just going to read you some of her thought lyrics.
Don't comment on my body.
Do not reply.
Your business is yours and mine is mine.
Why do you care so much about who's D-I-C-K-I ride?
Why?
Why do you care, public?
Who cares? Maybe we have an interest in basic morality.
Maybe we don't want young women looking up to you and thinking that it's okay to break down people's families.
Maybe we are genuinely just disgusted by your behavior and the things that you've done.
Maybe. I don't know. Why do we care?
We don't want to picture you sleeping with Ethan Slater.
We want to acknowledge to the general public that your behavior is absolute filth.
We just want to be able to read you for the trash that you are, Ariana Grande.
So let me answer the question for you.
I hope that sufficiently answers the question for you, that we genuinely are acknowledging that you are, in fact, a thought and a hoe and you're proud of it.
So good for you, Ariana Grande.
Good for you. I would just like to remind everybody that I care so passionately about this, that in the future, I intend on opening a hoe clinic.
Yes, a rehab for hoes, and I want Ariana Grande to be my first customer.
Don't worry, we will keep your business private, but I want to sit around in a circle and have Ariana talk about how many days she's been clean from being a hoe.
To the future, you guys.
All right, moving on.
We have been covering the DEI push that's been happening.
Of course, nothing more terrifying than the idea they would prioritize wanting to have women and people with physical incapabilities and psychiatric incapabilities working for the airlines.
That is the new push.
They are saying that they are actively trying to recruit.
This is the Federal Aviation Administration.
Listen to this. They're actively trying to recruit workers who suffer from quote-unquote severe intellectual disabilities, psychiatric problems, and or other mental and physical conditions.
That is under their diversity and inclusion hiring initiative.
Okay, so we showed you last week when the door just randomly flew off on a United plane while they were in the air.
Fortunately, nobody died.
But of course what's going to happen now is somebody is going to have to die for this DEI push to end.
For them to publicly state that we want to hire people that are severely intellectually disabled.
To do what?
In what circumstance, in a career, as life or death, as working for an airline, would you want somebody that was severely intellectually disabled?
I can't believe this.
They're actually saying this. That's the FAA's new push because they want to be so inclusive that they want to make sure that they include these people.
So maybe they're just going to be responsible for bolting the plane, but they are not able to do that because, of course, they're severely intellectually disabled.
But it will make them feel good to have these individuals.
Why not push for there to be pilots that are not capable?
But at least they're women, right?
Right. This is an actual New York Times headline from 2022.
The title, as you can read, says, the end of the all-male, all-white cockpit.
So what's naturally been happening, based on a meritocracy, is that the majority of pilots are white and male.
Men, in general, have a natural proclivity towards flying in the sky.
I don't have a I just want them to be able to safely land the plane.
Maybe they have been resistant to change because they are intent on hiring the most qualified people to fly the plane.
But now they're saying that's unacceptable.
They're saying that we need to start taking in account other things.
Well, that's at least what the United CEO is saying.
He says that he takes race and gender into account when hiring and laments that there's too many white males in the airline industry.
Don't believe me? Take a listen.
We have committed that 50% of the classes will be women or people of color.
Today, only 19% of our pilots at United Airlines are women or people of color.
And by the way, from all the data I've seen, that's the highest of any airline in the country.
One of the things we do is for every job when we do an interview, we require women and people of color to be involved in the interview process, bringing people in early in their careers as well.
Yep, you heard him correctly.
Again, that is the United CEO proving that the FAA's initiative to hire severely intellectually disabled people has been successful because that man is severely intellectually disabled and should not be anywhere near a CEO's office.
That should make you very nervous to fly.
I've never had a fear of flying when it comes to a pilot.
I've never thought, hmm, maybe the person in the cockpit is literally just being hired on the basis of a DEI initiative.
That now has to be a real fear, something to pay attention to.
People should be outraged.
There should be a peer pressure campaign that happens from the public.
It should be people saying that we will not accept this and hopefully they will change their policies.
All right, guys, now let's move on.
Matt Walsh, my colleague, is always in trouble, really just for telling the truth.
He's a very brave man. He just wants people to know the truth.
And he recently took on Valentine's Day, and people were outraged.
Here's what Matt Walsh had to say.
But, of course, 97% of us are buying the Valentine's Day gift on the way home from work on February 14th.
But buying a Valentine's Day gift for your wife a month early is the gayest thing you could do.
Don't do that. Because if it's January 3rd and you tell your wife, I got you, Valentine's Day gift already, she's going to say, so you're gay.
That kind of ruins Valentine's Day, doesn't it?
I support his statement in its entirety.
I can't imagine why anybody would plan Valentine's Day a month in advance.
Now, obviously, he's being tongue-in-cheek, but what made this even funnier than just what he said is the fact that people took him very seriously on the Internet.
Media Matters picked it up. They circulated the clip.
And not just liberals, but conservatives came after him as well.
Here are some of the very serious tweets that came in criticizing Matt Walsh.
Jennifer Greenberg wrote, Um, no.
Being organized and planning ahead tells your wife you care.
And actually, it's smart to make dinner reservations or book a wine tasting now because they fill up fast.
I guarantee it will go over better than CVS chocolates and the last flowers the grocery store had.
Yeah, Jennifer Greenberg, I'm also sure that you're probably one of those people that says that we should split the bill.
I can't believe she took it that seriously.
Also, strangely, again, not just the liberals that took him seriously, so did Dana Lash, who is a Republican and a conservative.
She came in and she said, I would think a bitchy man is the gayest of the gay.
So she was upset by what he said.
But don't worry, Matt was able to assuage everybody's fears.
He came in and clarified on Twitter.
Folks, calm down. Yes, I said it's gay to buy your wife a Valentine's Day gift more than three days ahead of time, but the good news is you can buy an anniversary gift up to six days ahead of time without becoming a homosexual.
The science is settled on this.
And I looked it up, and the science is in fact settled.
He is telling the absolute truth, so you're good, guys.
Nothing to worry about. Matt, again, taking up a very important cause.
I am just so proud to call him a colleague.
All right, guys, now it's time to get into some of your comments, or rather to respond to a lot of the comments that I received pertaining to The Wizard of Oz and Black Twitter making me aware that actually what happened to the witch was outrageous.
Now, first, speaking of Matt Walsh, I actually took this issue so seriously.
I texted him over the weekend because I went back to revisit the clip after many of you wrote in that, no, what Dorothy did was manslaughter.
She accidentally killed the witch, making her not that bad of a person.
So what What I'm going to do for this comment section is I'm going to take you very slowly through what really took place in this scene after, again, Dorothy murdered somebody's sister and then stole her shoes, stole her red bottoms.
So first, just to provide you guys a background of what took place before I even show you the clip, Before the Wicked Witch, if that's what we're calling her, shows up, the Munchkins, Oompa Loompas, whatever you want to call them, are throwing a party while there is a dead person under a house, and they're skipping with Dorothy saying, ding, dong, the witch is dead.
While there's a dead person at center, right?
There's somebody that's dead, and they're dancing and saying, witch, oh witch, the Wicked Witch.
Obviously, this is some sort of a satanic ritual, so I want to make that clear.
If they're having a satanic ritual, it's the only reason to have a dead person and dance around them.
And then the witch ends the party when she shows up and finds her dead sister.
Take a look. I thought you said she was dead.
That was her sister, the Wicked Witch of the East.
This is the Wicked Witch of the West.
She's worse than the other one was.
Who killed my sister?
Who killed the Witch of the East?
Was it you? No.
No, it was an accident.
I didn't mean to kill anybody.
Well, my little pretty, I can cause accidents too.
Okay, so first off, you have her, she just showed up, she sees her sister dead, people dancing around her sister, and she asks a question.
Who killed my sister? I mean, obviously she wants to know who killed her sister, and she asks Dorothy if it was her.
This woman is going through the stages of grief.
Obviously, she's somewhat upset, and Dorothy owns it.
Oh, I didn't mean to. And so you might be saying, oh, but she then threatens to say she can cause accidents too.
Yeah, that's one of the stages of grief.
She's angry, and understandably so.
Let's keep watching. Aren't you forgetting the ruby slippers?
The slippers. Yes.
The Snickers.
They're gone! The Ruby Snickers!
What have you done with them? Give them back to me or I'll...
It's too late. There they are, and there they'll stay.
So that's shocking.
Dorothy is very clearly modeling the slippers.
She turns her toe up.
She doesn't feel bad. She could have easily said, oh, okay, I will take these off.
I don't want these on my feet.
That's not what she does. And Glinda, goading her, she's like, oh, don't even worry about what's happened here.
Don't pay attention to my party. Don't you want to take your sister's slippers to remind you of her?
She's got them on her feet.
And then when she goes, Glinda steals the slippers and gives them to Dorothy, Models them.
Absolutely sick. I think that upgrades it for me to a full murder charge.
I just think Dorothy knew what she was doing.
But let's watch the next clip.
Give me back my slippers.
I am the only one that knows how to use them.
They're no use to you. Give them back to me.
Give them back.
Keep tight inside of them.
Their magic must be very powerful or she wouldn't want them so badly.
You stay out of this, Glinda, or I'll fix you as well.
Oh, rubbish. You have no power here.
Be gone before somebody drops the house on YouTube.
Okay, great. Glinda just threatened to have her murdered, which calls into question whether or not this was ever even an accident, whether it was ever even manslaughter.
Clearly, Glinda understands that she can have houses fall onto people, which is disgusting.
but let's watch this last part.
Very well, I'll bide my time.
And as for you, my fine lady, true, I can't attend you here and now as I'd like,
but just try to stay out of my way.
Just try!
There you have it, you guys.
The witch, again, if that's what we're calling her, pleads...
With Dorothy to stay out of her way.
She's like, just try to stay out of my way.
Just try to stay away. You just killed my sister.
I'm going to back out of this as the bigger person.
And I'm asking you to leave me alone.
Remarkably reasonable given the circumstances of murder and theft that we all just witnessed.
So that's really a button on this issue.
There's room for no more debate.
Dorothy is a monster.
Glenda the witch is the biggest monster.
She's actually the wicked witch.
And this person that you just saw, she's a victim.
Her sister was killed. Last year, because of you, Preborn's network of clinics saw over 58,000 babies saved.
Thank you to all of you who made that possible.
Let's celebrate these precious lives.
Dominique struggled with her faith when she found out that she was pregnant.
She didn't know how she could carry her baby to term, but she called on God for help and asked for a sign.
Here is her story. I was just kind of like, Lord, if this is, you know, if this is the way, you know, let me know.
If this is not the way, give me a sign, you know, before I walk through these doors.
And I was, as I was getting ready to walk up the steps and touch the doorknob, you know, a guardian angel.
And he just told me, he was like, baby, you don't have to go in there.
And he was like, I know someone that can help him.
Just to see the development of a baby that small, and I say baby because, I mean, he had little arms and legs, and I mean, you know, it was actually a human.
You know, and to see that and to have that physical and that contact once you look at that, I think it just pulls on your heart a little.
Each of these babies are truly miraculous, and every day, pre-born celebrates 200 miracles.
For just $28 a month, you can sponsor an ultrasound and help save a life.
When a mother sees her child on the ultrasound and hears their heartbeat, it can be a divine connection that doubles a baby's chance at life.
Let's join together and help mothers choose life.
Just dial pound 250 and say the keyboard, baby.
That's pound 250 baby.
Or visit preborn.com slash Candace.
That's preborn.com slash Candace.
Ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately, that is all the time that we have for today.
I hope you appreciate me and these hard-hitting topics that I'm bringing to you, especially regarding The Wizard of Oz.
