Jonah Hill Is Right, Keke Palmer Is Wrong
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
Happy Monday, everybody. I hope you missed me for the last week.
I've been on vacation, which I told you guys I was going to France.
I'm still on vacation, but I've decided to bring the show all the way here because apparently I've been missing a lot.
Let's see. It seems that men might be developing standards.
Yes, I'm catching the news pieces today.
And we have Kiki Palmer.
Her baby daddy has spoken out about an outfit that she's wearing.
I want to talk about that. We also have Jonah Hill, whose ex has released some text messages that she believes are controversial.
As I stated earlier, it might just mean that men are developing standards.
And that's the perfect question of today.
Are men allowed to have standards in relationships?
I guess a secondary question would be, is it possible for women to stop acting like hoes on the internet?
And I think the obvious answer to that is no.
Plus, later on in the show, I missed cocaine in the White House.
Yeah, let's talk about that. All that and more coming up on Candace Owens.
All right, so let's start with Keke Palmer.
If you are not familiar with her, Kiki Palmer is an actress and she is a singer and she's 29 years old and decided to attend Usher's Las Vegas residency show last Wednesday wearing a black bodysuit under a sheer dress.
Now, it's very important for me that you see exactly what she's wearing.
So here is Is a still shot of it.
And then you're gonna watch this video.
In the video circulating on social media, Usher serenades Palmer with his song.
Now, something that you should know about her is that she recently had a child just five months ago, and she has a boyfriend named Darius Jackson.
Let's watch the clip, and you can decide all by yourself whether or not you think her actions are appropriate.
Take a listen. There you are.
Gives Usher a hug.
He's obviously being flirtatious now.
She's dancing with him. She keeps her arms around him.
She's swaying her hips, wearing a bodysuit.
Seems to be surrounded by her girlfriends, obviously.
This is what it looks like when you're being serenaded by Usher.
And now she's singing with him.
Swinging her hips.
Flipping her hair, flirtatious, and now she shows him her butt, right?
Showing her body, showing her butt, dancing in front of him.
Again, flipping her hair and now doing sort of this, oh my god, oh my god, ushers just serenaded me thing.
And her girlfriends around her are applauding and filming.
And this is supposed to be cute.
And maybe if she was single, this would be cute, but she's not.
So you have to imagine if you are her man and his name is Darius Jackson, as I already stated, and you see this clip around the internet of your baby mama, I guess is the right way to say this.
And she's wearing that and she's dancing on Usher at a concert.
How would you feel? Well, I can tell you how he felt about it because he took to social media To write this on Twitter, he wrote, It's the outfit, though.
You a mom.
Now, of course, because we live in the era of feminism where women can do absolutely whatever they want, have no accountability, have no self-respect or respect for their partners, people instantly jumped to her defense.
One person wrote, Don't date a baddie, meaning like a hot girl, If you're gonna be this insecure.
So of course, obviously this means he's insecure.
Not that he is just being blatantly disrespected.
Another person wrote, not you jealous of your baby mother.
You right. She's a mom, not a wife!
Exclamation point, exclamation point, exclamation point.
I guess signaling to him that, well, you didn't marry her, so she's allowed to behave this way.
I might think of it the other way.
I might think that maybe he didn't want to marry her because she behaves this way.
Who knows what came first, the chicken or the egg?
Well, guess what? He actually stood up for himself, doubled down, didn't care that the fans were hitting him, that Kiki Palmer fans were hitting him and that feminists were hitting him and pretending that he was insecure.
And he wrote this. He tweeted...
We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn't want the wife and mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others, and he gets told how much of a hater he is.
This is my family and my representation.
I have standards and morals to what I believe.
I rest my case.
Now, that shouldn't be crazy to any person.
It's not exactly a tall ask to say, hi, you are the mother to my child.
You are my girlfriend. First and foremost, why are you even wearing this to an Usher concert where she knows that she's in the front row, she knows that she's also a celebrity, and she knows that it's likely that she's going to get attention from Usher?
To give you guys some context, I actually happened to go to the weekend concert where The artist of the weekend's concert just a couple of days ago in London.
I quite literally, just show you this picture, I wore jeans and a t-shirt because why on earth would I be wearing a completely sheer dress with my ass cheeks out to hear the weekend sing?
What would I be looking for?
And heels, to be hearing the weekend sing.
Wearing heels to a concert isn't even fun.
When you go to a concert, usually a dance to some music.
So she wore this outfit to receive the attention that she got from Usher.
And rather than the internet coming to her baby daddy's defense in this moment and recognizing that what he is saying is legitimate.
What he is saying is, I am a man, I have a family, and I have standards.
And of course, I expect my spouse to respect me and to respect our family.
Rather than doing any of that because we have no morals, no standards, the internet rushed instead to condemn him for saying something.
Now, two things that were interesting when I was discussing this situation with some friends.
One person said, you know, actually, relative to what most people wear, what she wore was not even that bad.
And I laughed at that and I said, you know what's funny?
We have become so increasingly desensitized to softcore porn that this outfit doesn't even rank in our minds as bad compared to some of the stuff that we see on, as just one example, Kim Kardashian's Instagram.
But clearly, this is softcore pornography.
Again, we had just become so desensitized over time.
I always go back to the early 2000s when J.Lo wore that dress and the whole world freaked out at the Grammys, showing you guys a reminder here of what she wore.
And it was explosive.
People couldn't believe that J.Lo wore this dress.
You look at this dress now and you go, oh, this is nothing.
Oh, she looks like she's fully covered up compared to the things that people wear on the red carpet now.
Well, that's because that is how much socially our culture has corroded, our values have corroded over time, and we don't even perceive nudity.
The second thing that I heard is people were saying, okay, even if he does have a point, why score this point publicly on Twitter?
Why did he have to save us on Twitter rather than speaking to her behind closed doors?
So what you're basically saying is she publicly disrespected him, but why didn't he privately speak to her?
I feel increasingly that we don't defend men enough in this culture, so I wanted to make sure that I leaned in onto this story just to simply say that Darius Jackson is completely right.
Kiki Palmer needs to have more respect for her family.
Now in this exact same vein, Jonah Hill has been in the press recently because, wow, it's always crazy when somebody is leaking private text messages and that's exactly what happened to him.
And the headlines that ran going along with his private text messages, which he sent to his ex-girlfriend, Back in 2021, were that she was accusing him of being emotionally abusive.
So that's a staggering headline, right?
Not exactly how we picture Jonah Hill from 21 Jump Street.
We assume he must be a friendly guy.
So of course, this garnered tons of media attention.
And it's just, as I said, not a normal thing to share private text messages.
Well, she leaked these text messages.
And the idea is that, as women were supposed to read this and be horrified by what he said to her, except when I read these text messages, I didn't feel...
Quite so horrified for him simply stating, well, what Darius Jackson stated, that he has standards.
Let's read Jonah Hill's text messages that the world, or part of the world, was freaking out about.
He wrote, plain and simple.
If you need, and this is the list he has, surfing with men, boundaryless, inappropriate friendships with men, to model, to post pictures of yourself in a bathing suit, to post sexual pictures, Friendships with women who are in unstable places and from your wild, recent past, beyond getting a lunch or coffee or something respectful, I am not the right partner for you.
If these things bring you to a place of happiness, I support it and there will be no hard feelings.
These are my boundaries for romantic partnership.
My boundaries with you based on the ways these actions hurt our trust.
Take some accountability and operate with respect.
It's that simple because I'm tired of your attitude towards surf culture and that contest and that place because I deserve respect, period.
I have been more than patient and then s*** like this is still here.
F that contest.
F that place. And F not respecting me always in every situation within serve culture.
Or you don't get it.
And you don't get me.
It's hurtful and unacceptable to me.
Get it? I don't know if you get it.
it, or care, or give a f*** about that s*** more than me, even after Dr. Stern has said
it loud and clear.
So to be clear, Dr. Stern is the couple's therapist that they were seeing once a week
for about four months when they dated back in 2021.
So who is Sarah Brady?
Sarah Brady is, again, his ex-girlfriend.
They had this conversation back when they were actually dating.
Jonah Hill basically said that this is how you want to live your life.
Again, a girl who's posting half nude pictures on the internet.
And then it sounds like saying to him, this is just surf culture.
This is what we do. And guess what happened after this?
They broke up. Obviously, it was very clear here that he has boundaries, that she was violating them and using surf culture as an excuse.
Didn't threaten her any means.
He just moved on.
But for Sarah Brady, he moved on too quickly.
Not only did he move on with another woman, he also just had his first child, literally just had his first child with this other woman.
So she has decided to leak these text messages.
And to be clear, this is not the first time that she has leaked their private correspondence.
She leaked when it was first announced that he was dating her
Because the press made a mistake and thought that his new girlfriend was her and she was very upset about this and
she was very upset with how quickly he moved on she's essentially been
harassing Jonah Hill and his new partner for over a year and
Why is she doing this? Well a couple of things about Sarah Brady Sarah Brady is about to be 40 years old
She doesn't have a boyfriend She doesn't have any children and there is something that I
say about women when they get to this age age, and they don't have any prospects.
Is that, well, they go a little crazy.
I know some of you guys watch this show and you get upset with me for telling you the truth.
Are there rare exceptions of a woman who has no husband, no children, and is happy, lives happily ever after?
Sure. Sure. But biologically speaking, women are meant to nurture something, whether that is a relationship, whether that is a child, or that is a niece and a nephew.
When you don't have any of that going on and you get to about the age of 40, women begin to lose it.
They begin to become undone.
Case in point, Chelsea Handler, I can cite you multiple cultural examples I always do to you, and that's exactly what's happening to his ex-girlfriend.
She was given an option.
She chose Ash Cheeks on the internet.
He moved on, found a girl that wanted to have more respect for him and more respect for their relationship, and she is now becoming undone because she's realizing she can't really go backwards.
And let me tell you, any man observing this and observing her behavior is not thinking, oh, I really want to get with this Sarah Brady.
She sounds like a totally stable individual.
They're realizing that she's not stable, and her prospects are likely going down, not up with this.
I'm actually happy to say that I thought the majority of the internet, and I think at first they did side with her, thinking that, oh my gosh, she must have been so crazy.
But as more information is coming out, people are realizing that what she is is really a vindictive, bitter ex-girlfriend who was unhappy with the circumstances in her own life, and now she is trying to destroy Jonah Hill, destroy his career, and hopefully destroy his relationship by providing outside trust to it.
It doesn't seem to be working.
As I said, the tide seemed to be turning against this.
And more and more, you're seeing women that are speaking up against what is really a toxic form of misandry.
They call this feminism.
It's not. This is actually hate for men.
Again, men have a right to have Men have a right to demand respect.
It is not misogyny to say that when we are in a relationship, I expect you to respect me.
That is not misogyny at all.
We used to just call that a normal, healthy, functioning relationship.
And it is only women that are remarkably actually insecure themselves, right?
Insecure themselves that pursue that attention outside of their relationships.
You're not looking at examples, as I'd like to tell you it is, of Women that are secure at these concerts.
I'm at the Usher concert with my girls half naked because I'm secure and I'm happy.
I'm dropping these messages because I'm secure and I'm happy and I'm actually over Jonah Hill.
It's the exact opposite.
These women are essentially figuratively naked and afraid of their own futures.
And so they lean into this toxic form of modern feminism.
So at the end of the day, what I want to say here is men continue to have standards, continue to be brave in calling out exactly what's happening because it has been high time for this modern toxic form of feminism to fall apart.
And that's all I'm going to say about that.

All right, now it's time for some topics du jour.
So here's a question for you.
How is it exactly that biological men lactate?
Have you ever thought of that? Probably not because it just seems like such a ridiculous concept.
But you hear this argument over and over again.
Men can menstruate.
Men can breastfeed.
Oh no, we just call it chest feeding.
And I obviously have been very interested in actually understanding these issues because, well, this is a huge cultural debate right now.
Well, this article popped up of a trans woman breastfeeding on the bus on the way to the hospital, and it is a photo of Mika Paluello.
Mika Paluello lives in the UK, and it sparked outrage because they're wondering what on earth Mika is doing, and I'm going to explain that to you because it's quite interesting.
Now, how do biological men lactate?
Well, they can make themselves lactate by taking a combination of medicines called the Newman-Goldfarb protocol.
It tricks the body into making milk.
It was originally developed for biological women who adopted or had a child via surrogacy and wanted to breastfeed.
So I just want to pause there because a lot of criticism that I get is focusing on trans issues.
No, focusing even on making this wider.
If you're a biological woman, Right?
A woman, so to speak.
I shouldn't be calling this a biological woman.
And you decide to adopt a child or to have a child via surrogacy.
You should not be allowed to take a powerful cocktail of hormones that can threaten the baby simply because you want the experience of breastfeeding.
Okay? Basically, essentially, we are willing to put your child at risk because you want to feel the closeness that people who actually carry their children at birth to their children can.
The method involves taking hormone-boosting medications, including the pill.
Other drugs that are used include anti-sickness medicine, which is called The drug regimen is used in conjunction with a breast pump to mimic the changes that a woman's body undergoes during the late stages of pregnancy and shortly after the birth of a child.
Experts have urged caution about trans women using the Newman-Goldfarb protocol to lactate.
Now, the drug is branded as motilium, and medics are only allowed, at least under the UK rules, to prescribe it to increase milk production off-label because it knows that it carries a risk to the infant.
The patient leaflet for motilium itself warns breastfeeding mothers to That it's, quote, It also reads, In a breastfed baby, botelium should be used during breastfeeding only if your physician considers this clearly necessary.
Now, why would a physician consider it clearly necessary if a woman who adopted a child and just wanted to experience what it would be like to breastfeed asked for it?
Does that seem like it's clearly necessary to prescribe it off-label under those circumstances?
Or, worse, if a man said, you know, I identify...
As a woman, and I too would like to know what the breastfeeding experience is like.
Again, they know that this carries a risk to the heart of an infant.
And they are willing to prescribe this so that people can emotionally feel connected to a child.
Does that seem right to you?
This is forever calling in to question the morals of Big Pharma because it just appears to me that there are none, that we are starting to put people's feelings over now even the health of an infant.
That's what's happening right now. We are putting people's feelings over the health of an infant.
And It is sad to me that there are people that will defend this, that they will say, oh no, it's more important that we address the feelings of the father in this circumstance and the closest that he wishes to experience with this infant rather than dealing with the reality that this infant's heart could suffer long-term effects from these drugs.
So I thought this was a very important thing for you to understand because, well, it's obviously, if it's happening in the UK, it's That means that it's already happening in America because we have the lowest bar when it comes to big pharma and morality in the entire world.
There's no place worse in America when it comes to big pharma and the things that we are willing to prescribe to children and now infants to make sure that people's feelings are being met.
All right, guys, moving on. So it's the most surveilled building in the entire world.
It's the White House. And it's just incredible.
Depending on what political side you are, they are either able to figure out how crimes are happening near the White House or they have no idea.
Case in point, January 6th. We still don't know who dropped off the pipe bombs just a few short
blocks away from the most surveilled building in our nation.
And, you know, it breeds a lot of conspiracy theories because it was probably the feds and
it definitely leans, makes me at least believe that January 6th was entirely concocted by
the Department of Justice. But leave that there because we've got bigger fish to fry. Cocaine
at the White House.
I feel like I'm being funny when I say that.
I can't even believe this is something that's happening in America.
And what I really enjoy doing is imagining what the press would have done if it happened during Trump's presidency.
Could you imagine if somebody walked into the White House and put cocaine anywhere in the building and this happened under a Trump presidency, what the media would be saying, what Congress would be saying, what calls they would be making, how quickly it would have determined who left the cocaine.
Well, that's if you're Donald Trump.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, he is Joe Biden.
And when things happen under a Joe Biden presidency, well, there are no consequences.
And that includes when there are drugs.
So yes, the Secret Service found cocaine somewhere in the West Wing.
It seems that they keep changing the location.
Oh, it happened. It was left in a locker.
Now we're hearing that it's in the Situation Room.
They don't know.
Now, if you've never been to the White House, I have been many times.
There are cameras. On every single inch of the property because, well, the president lives there.
That's required.
There are cameras literally everywhere on that property.
But for whatever reason, what they're really trying to do is confuse you into believing that this may have happened.
They're just investigating.
It takes time to investigate who could have left cocaine at the White House, right?
And so they're leaving it to the Secret Service.
At least that's what Corrine Jean-Pierre has to say to the press.
Take a listen. Where exactly inside the West Wing the substance was discovered?
I'm not going to get into specifics.
All I can say is when people visit the West Wing, there is the area of the West Wing where it is highly traveled, and that is what happens.
People come through this particular area, it's highly traveled.
I'm just not going to get into specifics.
I'm not going to get ahead of the Secret Service, and so I'll let them speak to that.
There are a couple of primary entrances into the West Wing.
There's the one with which we're all familiar right outside of the driveway where the Marine stands when the President's in the West Wing.
And there's another entrance off West Executive Avenue.
Can you explain which entrance we're talking about?
I'm going to let the Secret Service speak to that.
Can you explain why you can't explain it?
I mean, you described it as a heavily-traveled area.
I'm just saying what the Secret Service said.
We got this from the Secret Service, so I'm sharing a little bit more with you from here.
But again, it's under their purview.
It's under investigation. They will have more specifics down the road as they are looking into this.
We are confident that they will get to the bottom of this, and so I'm just going to leave it to them.
This was discovered late on Sunday.
What's the latest staff-led tours that happen in the West Wing on a Sunday?
You know, I don't have the specifics on how late the staff-led tours go, but I can tell you that there was one on Friday, there was one on Saturday, there was one on Sunday.
The times that there are not any West Wing tours is when there is a federal holiday, like yesterday, or a big White House, a large White House event.
I just don't have the specifics.
Let's let the Secret Service get to the bottom of this.
They'll have more, hopefully, more information.
And we have confidence that they will be able to figure this all out.
So I'm going to give them the space to do that.
Her response makes me chuckle because, again, I've been to the White House many times.
A friend of mine worked there and she helped set up some tours for people that I was friends with.
And the idea that they're trying to make you believe that someone who is visiting the White House, which means you're pretty uneducated if you're visiting.
You haven't been there, but you would assume that the Secret Service is crawling all over.
That obviously you're going to go through some extreme security checks, which you do.
They want you to believe that a visitor was so stupid, right, that they showed up at the White House with cocaine and decided to place it somewhere in the White House and thought, you know what, I won't get caught on this visitor tour.
No one's going to find me and my cocaine.
I mean, you would have to be criminally stupid to We're good to go.
And if it is contra Biden, of course, we can expect Anna Navarro and the woman at The View to say, this is about a father's love.
It's really about love that he allows his son to place cocaine inside of the White House to feed his addiction.
My guess is, I don't know if it's contra Biden, but it's very obvious that it's somebody pretty high up, because if it wasn't somebody pretty high up, They would have said, we're arresting this individual.
Obviously, they would have been willing to allow this individual to take a hit.
But there seems to be protection.
So, we will continue to follow that story.
But I just find it amazing that, I don't know, Biden sold America on, we are restoring dignity at the White House.
And what have we gotten over the last two weeks?
Well, we've got trans breasts on the White House lawn.
A trans person taking their top off.
Woo!
And now we even have cocaine.
It is quite a party.
Life's a party when you are a Biden.
All right, guys, let's jump into some of your comments on the recent episode that I did
regarding me not drinking, which was fascinating.
I was reading your comments from over here in France, and I would say the majority of the comments were amazing.
We're gonna read some of those, but there was a small thread of comments,
and really I'm talking about like 0.01% of the comments.
People were angry with me for sharing the fact that I didn't drink,
and I always find that to be super fascinating because why would somebody not drinking upset you?
Just a weird thing, right?
Why would you ever be angry?
If one of your friends is like, you know, I don't really drink,
why would that upset you?
And I think that that probably points to the fact that if you were upset with people talking
about not drinking in a culture where everybody talks about drinking
and it's all they ever share on their Instagram and all they ever share on social media
because drinking is so cool, and you're not upset with that,
but you are upset with people that don't drink, you might need to check yourself.
There might be something going on internally, but again, the majority of the comments are really great and I want to read some of them now.
Okay, first up, at HarrisBS87 writes, You are absolutely correct.
I don't know a single person who doesn't know somebody in their family who suffers from alcoholism or I don't know.
Web1852 writes, when I quit drinking, I found that every friendship I had was based on drinking.
We didn't even know how to hang out without it, and all those friendships dissipated.
I hear that often.
Actually, with me, that hasn't been the case, but I will say that I'm less compelled to go out as much, and I really do enjoy a chill night in with my husband is what I tend to do because, I don't know, it's more fun.
I like to wake up and feel refreshed, so it's just not a part of my life.
Next comment reads, I needed to hear this today.
I stopped drinking a year ago.
In just one year of not drinking, I found I was happier and more productive.
I recently started having a few glasses of wine and feeling it's time to stop again.
Thank you, Candice. I love your channel.
That's really funny because the number one thing that I would say that it contributes to when you stop drinking is productivity.
You know, so again, I mean, obviously I've been very honest about this.
If I'm on vacation having a glass of wine, I can count on my fingers how many times I drink per year.
And it's just changed my life.
I am so much more productive. I think I'm more ambitious.
And I think it allows you to leave a lot of people in the dust because you still need to occupy that time with doing something.
You just find that whatever that something is, it's actually benefiting your life but not a detriment to it.
Jody2089 writes, Thank you, Candice.
I'm currently 38 weeks pregnant.
I was basically forced into giving up drinking because of my pregnancy.
This pregnancy has been a lifesaver.
I am free of my alcohol dependency.
I drank every single day.
I've made many bad decisions.
Being sober for the first time since I was 14 years old, I'm currently 28, has given me a new lease on life, made me change who I am.
I was becoming my father, an alcoholic, but now I am free.
I can give my precious son, who I'll meet very soon, the sober mother that he deserves.
That is so wonderful to hear, mainly because obviously pregnancy changes people.
And in that way, you can almost say that having a child saved you.
So I think that that's really beautiful.
Chloe Bell writes, The media-driven wine mom culture is absolutely by design.
Anything that veers people away living their best life is what the system wants.
Great video, Candice. Awesome message.
That is so true. That's very much branded on Instagram, the idea of a wine mom.
Mom's dressed out because the kid's Are yelling around the house and, oh, now it's me time and I open a glass of wine.
They really do pivot to mothers.
That is the pitch. If you are a mom, you must drink wine.
And I don't find it necessary.
Yeah, the kids are stressful sometimes, but usually what I need is sleep.
Sleep is so much better than wine.
Also, when I drink wine, I can't really sleep well.
And I just really like to sleep.
Myra Garcia Sanchez writes, I loved your collaboration with Brett.
I genuinely listen to this podcast because I agree on most topics and I feel my brain develops about politics, religion, culture, health, etc.
But with meaning, thank you ladies for making me feel that I am not such a freak.
Lastly, Polly Pocket writes, drinking isn't who you are.
It exacerbates the way you feel.
Spot on, ladies.
You both are the epitome of class.
Thank you, too, for being such good examples and role models in such a tumultuous world.
Continue being bright lights that you are.
I fully support and recommend The Daily Wire to all my friends.
I've just recently got my relatively left-leaning boyfriend to subscribe to your content as well.
He isn't well acclimated with politics and I've suggested your channels to be the start of his new open-minded
orientation.
Hey, y'all may just save my relationship too. Haha. It was really fun collaborating with BrightRain.
Really interesting, obviously, that she doesn't drink at the age of 21.
I cannot say the same for me.
I told you guys I took the most liberal route to conservatism that there ever was.
I drank a lot in my 20s, which is why I really admire Brett's commitment.
I think I just, in the end, just got bored with it, and I just got more interested in climbing In terms of my career and in terms of my family, you know, just wanting something else out of life other than drinking every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, plus Sunday brunch as I was doing in my 20s.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, that is all the time that we have for today.
As a reminder, A Shot in the Dark is available now on Daily Wire Plus, so be sure to click the link in the description and subscribe right now.
