George, welcome to Palm Beach, man.
Hey, how you guys doing?
Wow, what an awesome crowd, dude.
We love you too.
So George, for some of the people in the audience that might not be familiar, introduce yourself, your line of work.
Yeah, my name is George Janko.
I have a podcast.
I also like to tell jokes.
But recently I've came to the conclusion that Jesus has to go through every door with me.
If it's...
If it's work, if it's personal, if it's a relationship, if you have to leave Jesus at the door, then might as well leave yourself there and welcome my God in because I'm not going to do that no more.
I'm going full 100%.
Did you always feel that way, George?
You know what it was?
I grew up very blessed.
You know, a lot of people win the lottery.
Some people might have been born into royalty.
I was born a bit higher than that.
I was born with a mother that taught me about Jesus Christ.
And when you have that love of Jesus Christ, when a mother is doing her due diligence and teaching you about our Lord and our Father is maybe not with His words but by His actions teaching you how a man should be.
When I came out to chase my dreams, I'm ashamed to say I left Jesus at the door.
Not because I wanted to or not because people were trying to get me to, but it's because my own heart, which was wicked and I didn't know Scripture well, I relied on myself.
And I left them at the door.
And it wasn't in a rude way where I'm like, Jesus, you stay here.
It was like, I'll be right back.
I'm going to go do this.
And then I'm going to welcome you in.
And then 10 years went by and I'm like, how am I happier flipping at like a Burger King than I was like doing this career?
And it was because I left my peace and joy at the door.
And so when my career was at a place where it was almost for me time to go home, I said, you know, I'm going to do this one last time, but instead of leaving him at the door, I'm going to do this with just me and him.
And it was just overnight.
He took a boy that was ready to go home that was broken and lost, and he rebuilt him to be a man that...
I'm not yet completely proud of, but if I keep walking and like you said with obedience, which is the hardest thing to tackle, but My prayers now isn't, God, I want this.
It's, God, I want you to look down and be proud of the man that I am.
And if I'm not there yet, take these feet and put them where they need to be, where you look down and you're pleased with me.
And that's very consistent with the theme of, here I am, Lord, use me.
For everyone to understand, George has millions and millions and millions of followers.
George, you were part of a community that did not always, let's just say, glorify Christ.
Is that fair to say?
No.
Yeah, but they could be looked at exactly like how I was, right?
When you said the obedience thing, I've come to learn that there could be people that unfortunately don't know who Jesus is that act more like a Christian than a man who claims that he knows God.
And so I've came to the conclusion, I understand why Jesus says, forgive them for they don't know.
So yeah, I was with people that may have not respected our Lord the way that me and you would, but that's just because they don't know.
And so as you've gone through this journey and you talk to a lot of Gen Zers, you have become open about your faith more so than anything else.
Talk about how that has grown you and do you care if you lose followers or that you get people that say, stop talking about Jesus so much?
Yeah, um, you know, I think the cool thing is when I redid everything with God, I kind of changed it and it was like a new slate.
I would post a video and I would look how many likes.
Where is it coming from?
How are we doing this?
We need to get a thumbnail.
We gotta get this.
We gotta get her to do something.
Well, maybe you wouldn't be proud of that.
It's for the clickbait.
It's not really bad.
My brain was always fake, fake, fake.
Let's grow.
Fake it till you make it.
That's how Hollywood said it.
And, uh...
When I went with Jesus, like, it was just such easy success that it felt weird even claiming it that it was mine.
So it's no question you saw George Janko 10 years busting his butt, doing everything you could, nothing happened.
The day he just gave it to his Lord, everything fell at my feet.
And to be honest, I'm not saying this patting myself on the back, I'm saying this, if you're working for something, I promise you everything you're praying for in your heart, everything that you work for, everything that you, I'm sorry to say this, worship, If you see eye to eye truly with our Lord and Savior and you get on the same page of them, all of those will be placed at your feet and you want to kick them out of the way because it has no candle compared to the peace and joy that I have when I'm just sitting reading my scripture.
I love that.
Talk about what you have learned about the best ways to communicate the gospel to a younger generation.
Because we are told that Gen Z is the most secular generation in history.
What have you learned as best practices to share your faith effectively?
To be honest, I think, okay, so if you're going through something right now and you're working really hard and God's not blessing it, It's probably because it's your heart that wants that and it's not God's that wants that.
Because our God is a very generous God and He's not going to hold something that's good for you.
And when I stopped forcing things that He doesn't want and I just was obedient, I'm like, alright, if it's meant to be, if it's in your will, then let it be.
That's when it presented itself.
And I became this man on stages now that talks about Jesus constantly.
But that's not how I started it.
The show was called The George Janko Show.
And so I just wanted to be authentic.
And what I did is I took my sins and I put them on the table and I said, okay, this is what I'm dealing with.
And I'm going to show the world how my step-by-step, even the ones where I'm ashamed to show it.
But I think that's the best way you could communicate with a younger generation.
Because now we live in a world where every single one of you guys know that when you look at the media, what do you first think?
I don't believe it.
It's fake.
But when you see a man who's truly broken and looking for God and really, really humbled himself and is meek, then I think that's when the ears could listen.
And that's why I would like...
I know a lot of you guys might have a different opinion of the other side, the other team.
But truly, I say, I think it's because they don't know.
So I think if there was a kid on the other side of the fence and they were going towards where Satan wants them to be and he sees us...
Children of God, pointing our fingers, bashing at them, disrespecting them, and negating the fact that they probably came from a broken home.
And that's why their fruits are like that, because their roots are like that.
But our God is not calling us to be like the devil.
He's calling us to be like Jesus.
And let me tell you something.
I don't know how much you guys despise the other side and the corruption.
But I promise you, the distance between us and them is very, very, very small compared to the distance from us and Christ.
Very, very, very small.
And so if you could remember that Jesus came down and he truly spoke from his heart...
And he preached with his actions by loving and communicating with the ones that they didn't want to love and communicate with.
And through that actions, the other people on the other side of the team were like, oh, why am I getting more love from this guy that I'm supposed to hate more than my own family?
More than my own friends?
The only weapon Satan has is lying.
And they lied to the other team.
They brainwashed them.
But I'm sorry to say this.
They did that to us.
When they said, we have to get them out.
We have to fight.
I promise you, if we play the same rules that Jesus did, and we don't have to accept their sins and say, okay, let's just go along with it.
I'm not saying that.
I'm saying, hold your feet where they should be, but be meek and humble.
And invite them into our homes instead of kicking them out.
So George, talking about sharing the gospel, the modern gospel usually goes something like this, which is, if you give your life to Christ, you're going to become infinitely wealthy and your life will be very easy.
That is a misleading way to try to bring people to Jesus.
Instead, it should go something closer to, here is God's perfect law, you cannot hold that law, and you need Christ Jesus.
Talk about where you think the modern gospel has failed in recent times and how we can do a better job.
I disagree with you.
Alright, it's our first debate.
Are you guys ready for this?
We get up and leave.
We fight.
After I just said don't fight with other teams.
I think what they're pushing is the love aspect.
And I think that it's right and it's wrong.
If you're teaching a man that you could keep sinning and God's gonna love you, well that's a lie.
Because, I don't know, who's married here?
Who's married here?
Sir, if you were like to your wife, hey, I love you, but this girl from Subway, man, I just met her, I want to go to...
So if you love your God, you're going to do the same thing that your God did for you, and that is sacrifice.
He sacrifices life, which means you can sacrifice your addictions, you can sacrifice your point of views if you know it goes against God.
Okay, amen.
But the aspect of how can I teach, how can we stop telling them that there's joy and peace and there's all this, I don't agree because I promise you, and I say this before you, and I pray that God uses me as an example, but I promise you that if God took away my career, And I was just mowing lawns or wiping a desk or just refilling people's drinks.
I promise you, if you gave me a kingdom with all the millions but then gave me a job that God gave me, the peace and joy that God gave me here would be way greater than what they could give me over here.
So I can't say that.
I cannot say that if you go to Jesus that you're not going to be in peace and you're not going to be in joy.
You absolutely will.
But that's if you truly seek a relationship, not a fake relationship.
And when you have a real relationship with Jesus Christ...
And you know who Jesus is and what he did and the separation between this pile of dirt and the glory of God.
It's no question.
You're going to run to what's right.
I think the people that are not obedient to Jesus is because they don't know.
They just don't know.
They don't know the scripture.
Okay, here's one thing.
There's a lot of people dealing with identity issues.
You guys know about this, yeah?
In all shapes and forms.
But I tell you this, and I truly, truly say this with my heart.
If you have an identity issue, it's because you don't know who created you.
You do not know who created you.
If you had a Honda, you wouldn't bring it to Ferrari.
They wouldn't work on it.
They don't know what it is.
So what happens is our parents, not my parents, but America, our parents, we left our kids at the school system.
And we said, you deal with it.
But then years later, we get mad at them for how they deal with it.
I'm not saying what they did was right, but parents, get your roots in order.
Stop blaming the government.
Stop blaming the schools.
Because you know what?
I had the same type of schooling, but when I got home, my parents taught me what respect is.
They taught me who Jesus was.
And they did not spare the rod.
So talk more about that.
When you were growing up, was honoring your mother and father a core value of the house you grew up in?
It still is.
I have my new covenant.
I just got engaged.
And thank you.
I appreciate that.
Thank you.
And when we were dating, and my parents, you know, like a lot of immigrant parents, they have a little harder rules.
But in the very beginning, and I think this is what's hard, is people want to plant something, and then when it grows, they expect it to be something else.
So when you, for example, young ladies, when you date a guy, and you're like, he's great, but if he was like this, he would be better.
Right?
You're not in love with him.
You're in love with potential.
That's potential.
You should be in love with patterns, what he's showing you.
And what I showed my fiance before I put a ring on her and I promised God and her father, is I showed her a man that came from the man that my dad was.
And my dad taught me about respect.
So when we're at the head of the house, I don't care how successful, how much money, how much power.
I had attorneys, I had agents, I had friends saying, you don't know, your dad doesn't know, you should put him behind.
My dad, I put him at the CEO of my company.
Does he know about Hollywood?
No.
But he knows me and he knows God, so we'll do it together.
And so a nation that honor your mother and father so that you may live long in the land of which you are in is the only one of the Ten Commandments that involves a promise and a nation.
The country is no longer honoring their parents, both metaphorically and literally, and we are living through that.
Instead, it seems as if there's a pattern of dishonoring one's parents.
This is a serious issue, and I feel as if we are focused on trying to save America, it must start with restoring the honoring of one's parents.
100 million percent.
If you can't honor your mother and father, I promise you, you can never honor your heavenly father.
If you break that order, that's why I say this.
And a lot of people, when I first said this, a lot of people were like, whoa, don't say that, bro.
A lot of girls are going to get mad.
But I confidently told the world, I run my household.
God put me in charge.
I run my household.
But then on the other hand, he asked me to serve.
Right?
So you see all those men out there pounding the chest.
I'm a man.
I'm going to lead.
Punch that dude in the face and steal his girlfriend.
That's not a man.
That's a coward.
That's a man who didn't have a man raise him.
A real man would respect a woman in all shapes and forms.
Even when I was single and I was misbehaving and I was sleeping around, I wouldn't disrespect a woman because that could be somebody's mother one day.
And I don't want to go to heaven and say, hey, you added her to go to hell more than heaven.
And I think we kind of forget this.
I think it's so uncomfortable to say what you mean to somebody.
Just having a conversation about Jesus Christ.
Why do you think it's uncomfortable?
Why?
Why do you think it's uncomfortable to sit in an elevator and ask somebody about a scripture, but it's totally fine to ask them about an OnlyFans model?
Why?
Because Satan made it uncomfortable.
That's why.
And so now when I get uncomfortable, I smile and I go, alright, what blessing lies here that you don't want me to do?
I'm not going to sit here and tell you guys that I have it figured out.
I don't.
But I promise you, if you do these two things, miraculous miracles will happen in your life.
First, get to know who Jesus Christ is.
Second, wake up every single day trying to be like Jesus Christ.
And that's super hard!
That's so hard.
But isn't it a good thing that our God is not judging us now?
That He loves us?
I'm going to ask you guys, you don't have to answer this, but if you had two kids, one cared zero about how you felt and did whatever he want, but there was one that failed you a lot, but you could see the tears in his eyes and the pleading in his heart and That he's lost and confused.
You would pick that child up, wipe his tears off and say, let's do it together.
Come on.
So what I'm saying is, if you don't have it figured out, if you're lost, if you wake up every day questioning, why did Jesus die for me?
I disrespect him every day and I sin every day.
If you hold that in your heart, be proud.
Be very, very proud that you are worried about what Jesus Christ thinks of you.
Because I think the reason why we came to this place in our country is because we kicked God out and we stopped caring what He thinks.
Amen.
So in closing here, George, we're all very focused here about saving the country, fighting for liberty, fighting for freedom, which is ultimately God's idea, not man's idea.
What wisdom do you have to share for the audience here as we close this conversation?
Alright, there's one that I'm working on right now and I was asking God, I go, if I had to like leave something, I pray that he uses my mouth and that I could open up your hearts.
And I pray that if there's somebody out there that has a hardened heart, I pray that the Holy Spirit opens it up for this one moment.
And it's to love and forgive your neighbor.
If you love and you forgive your neighbor and you pick up his slack because he's disobedient and not wise, we could rebuild with the Holy Spirit.
None of us could do what the Holy Spirit could do.
All of us could come together right now, grab our friends, grab our families, and we still wouldn't be able to hold a candle to what the Holy Spirit could do.
So start inviting the Holy Spirit into your workplace, your school, your friends, your finances.
Every single place that you walk into, ask Jesus to walk before you and take your mouth, take your eyes, take your ears.
Because when I look out into the world and I see our music and I see our movies, Satan took our children's eyes and ears.
