Hey everybody, great news out of Arizona State University as I regain my voice and Miranda Devine joins us to talk about Eric Adams now being under indictment.
Email me as always freedom at charliekirk.com, subscribe to our podcast, open up your podcast application, and type in Charlie Kirk Show.
Buckle up, everybody.
Here we go.
Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
I want to thank Charlie.
He's an incredible guy.
His spirit, his love of this country.
He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
That's why we are here.

We have lots to cover today, including Eric Adams being indicted.
But first, I want to share some phenomenal news with you.
Yesterday, we went to Arizona State University, ASU, and did a massive voter registration drive.
This was brought to you by Turning Point Action and also some of the local fraternities there on campus.
We were met by a crowd of thousands of students, hundreds of which wanted to register to vote for the first time for this presidential election for Donald Trump.
The vibe and the energy and the spirit is off the charts, greater than anything I've ever experienced in my 12 years of doing this.
Look at that video right there.
Literally people that are clamoring over trying to get MAGA hats.
Fill out forms.
People as far as the eye can see.
Now mind you, this is work that was not happening in 2020.
It was not happening for a couple reasons.
First of which, we didn't really have Turning Point Action operational in 2020.
It was almost all Turning Point USA.
Almost all just charitable, non-profit, high school, college work.
But secondly, remember, it was during COVID in 2020.
During this time in 2020, they wouldn't have allowed even this kind of gathering unless, of course, we were protesting, you know, anti-racism or some nonsense.
No way would we be allowed to do an outdoor voter registration event four years ago.
So you can kind of chalk this up to another thing that did not happen and was not happening in 2020 that is now unfolding in real time.
I want to play more tape here, not just that one.
The 141 is pretty amazing and we were just kind of showing that.
Let's play cut 119 here.
This is the shot that went viral.
Are you registered to vote?
Yeah.
Huh?
Yeah.
Here, I'll give you some pens.
Is everyone here voting?
Why are you doing choices?
We've got a pen there.
Have you seen Arizona?
Hey, there you have it.
Thank you.
Thank you.
So when I challenge you, the audience, to go register voters, that's what it is.
It's going out into the streets, having face-to-face conversations, sometimes wearing your MAGA hat, and registering first-time or new voters onto the voter rolls.
This is the energy that we need, and this is how we are going to win.
The final tally I'm still getting from Turning Point Action, they were out there for hours in 107 degree heat.
There is no excuse to sit on the sidelines anymore, anybody.
Our students are out there in 107 degree heat, trying to save the country for themselves.
Because they're being handed down a battered, brittle, abused, and broken nation.
And these students, they want a country.
They want a country where they'll be raised in.
So I went into the audience and started to ask people questions.
Why are you voting for Trump?
Why are you voting for Trump?
Mind you, it's 107 degrees outside.
It was very, very, very, very, very hot.
And the number one thing that students would tell me, they'd say economy, immigration, all this, but the through line is very simple.
They know that they are currently inheriting a nation that is not on par or nearly as wealthy or powerful as their parents.
They know That the social contract has been broken.
They know that they have been plundered.
Generational theft.
They know that they might be drafted into the military for World War III.
They know they're not going to be able to own homes under Kamala Harris, which is true.
They know that they can't even afford groceries.
And they're wondering why is it that my parents were able to have a normal, simple American life and I'm gonna have to be a renter for the rest of my life.
I'm gonna have to be a Russian serf.
I'm not able to do the basic things that my parents were able to do.
The reason why Donald Trump is ascendant amongst Gen Z voters and is seeing massive momentum on the ground of which we are exhibiting to you right now Is this the first time the next generation is worse off since George Washington?
I want to play another piece of tape here.
This is 117.
This is me addressing the crowd with a bullhorn, encouraging people to register to vote.
You guys can do this too.
Stop being a spectator.
You guys can get out into the streets.
You can knock on doors.
You can go get, you can ask your neighbor that just moved from California, are you registered to vote?
This doesn't require any special training.
This doesn't require any sort of sophistication.
You don't have to go to college to do this.
You just have to want to save the country.
And failure for us to go out in the streets and do it, we will be responsible if Kamala Harris becomes president.
Play Cut 117.
So right here, you guys registered to vote?
If you are from another state, registered to vote here in Arizona, who's from California?
We're gonna hold that against you.
Are you registered to vote here?
Yes?
Arizona?
You know?
You gotta get registered to vote right here.
Alright?
Who's from Illinois?
Anyone from Illinois?
Where are you registered to vote?
Here.
Good answer.
You gotta register to vote in the state of Arizona, okay?
Because we do not want a Kamala Harris presidency.
Are you ready?
Yes!
Our team will get it done in what, five minutes?
Less than that.
Less than five minutes you can register to vote.
The credit to the Turning Point Action Team.
They were out there for hours registering voters, talking to students, And we're going to get the final tally.
Now mind you, this is an election, last time in Arizona, that was determined by 10,000 votes.
It was determined by 10,000 votes.
And we very well... I'll get the final total.
Minimum we registered 300 voters.
I think it was closer to 500.
I don't want to misspeak.
So you do that at Arizona State University, you're losing by less.
And that doesn't count all of the thousands of students that came to that event that were already registered, that are voting for Trump.
Now mind you, I think Kamala Harris will probably win the vote at Arizona State University, would you say, Blake?
Almost certainly, right?
Probably.
I'm not trying to misrepresent that.
But, it is conceivable that we lose by less.
That instead of losing by 28 points, we lose by 20 points.
Instead of losing by 28 points, we lose by 15 points.
Whatever it is, we don't know what that number is, but we're going to do better than we did in 2020.
And the mission statement on these campuses is to lose by less.
Understand, you're up against huge amounts of indoctrination and brainwashing.
So we're trying to just wedge our way in there to try to find a fractional impact.
And the entire event yesterday was made possible thanks to the amazing fraternities at Arizona State University.
We have a picture of me with the fraternities there.
And what strikes me, and we're going to be posting some of these videos, is how diverse the crowd was.
I want to play this piece of tape here.
This is a young man.
His name is Jeff from China.
He can't vote because I was going around, hey, why are you voting for Trump?
Why are you voting for Trump?
It was amazing videos.
This is a young man from China with a warning.
If he could vote, he would.
In fact, he signed up to be a volunteer to get other Americans to go to vote.
Even though he's not American, he can volunteer.
Click at 142.
Why are you voting for Trump?
I can't vote.
I'm not from here, but I'm from China.
Initially, we fled China.
I'm in this asylum, actually.
But would you vote for Trump if you could?
Yes, of course!
What's your message for Americans that don't understand tyranny?
Vote for socialism!
Socialism goes up!
Yeah!
It's amazing how many Americans want socialism, isn't it?
I I mean, that's what Chinese people wanted, and look what happened.
And now, you know, it's about to happen to us.
So, we fled here, and we wanted this place to not be like China.
Don't vote, like what China happened.
Don't let that happen!
Exactly!
And that's why we had to vote for Trump.
Exactly, yeah.
What's your name?
Oh, I'm Jeff.
Nice to meet you, man.
God bless you.
He's here on asylum.
Probably a legit asylum claim.
And, by the way, he'd be the first one that would be deported by Kamala Harris.
Not the Haitians.
That's the type of person we actually want in our country.
And he's trying to warn you.
You vote for Kamala Harris, you're going to turn America into some sort of form of China.
That's his words, not mine.
Get to work, everybody.
Stay in the arena.
No more sideline work.
It's not enough just to watch the Charlie Kirk Show.
That's great.
How many voters are you registering?
Are you guys talking to your pastors about speaking out?
Are you talking to your neighbors?
Are you going to your local school board meeting?
Are you talking at the local grocery store wearing the MAGA hat?
Go do the work.

The way we win is to drive turnout, and every single one of us is about getting to work and driving turnout.
What does it mean to drive turnout?
If you need to be responsible for 100 people to go out to vote for Trump, minimum.
If you want to be ultra-patriot, it's got to be 500 to 1,000.
And you've got to start writing down.
Have you guys done the work in the audience and started to write down every voter that you're going to be responsible for?
Sally Sue Marie.
Joe Smith.
Dale Jenkins, whatever.
And you're gonna make sure that they go and vote and you are going to pester them throughout voting month.
Offer them drives to the polling places.
Knock on their door.
Hey, have you gone and voted?
Have you gone and voted?
Can you go get your daughter to go and vote?
Are they registered to vote?
That kind of pestering, that kind of grassroots energy is what is going to make the difference here.
Nate Silver has come out, right Blake, and said he's never seen an election this close.
It is the closest he's seen and across especially the number of states that are extremely close.
And so now is not the time to sit idly by, guys.
We are getting a lot of people signing up to want to go chase ballots in Arizona in the month of October.
That is tpaction.com slash 100.
And just so you understand, what we did yesterday at Arizona State University is yet another place.
We did this in Madison.
We did this in Penn State.
We're doing this all across the country of voter registration, of rallying, of talking to students.
This is defining work that could end up being determinative for the rest of the election.
My only concern is why are there not more groups doing this in different communities?
Why does it require turning point action to have to take this kind of initiative?
I guess it's just because the movement has really kind of become used to sitting around and complaining a lot.
And not doing the work that is necessary.
But you guys can do that work.
And you should do that work.
Being in the neutral gear is not an option if we want to remain free citizens.
Doing nothing is a ticket to tyranny.
Now, what is the youth vote looking like?
That's a good question.
Blake, I want to talk about this one poll.
It could be goofy, it could be an outlier, but there's something here, probably, where they polled students at Notre Dame University.
Yep.
What did the poll show?
Okay, so the latest poll is by the Irish Rover, which is a paper at the University of Notre Dame.
It says, I'm not super familiar, but it says upholding the Catholic character.
So I guess it's probably a Catholic paper at Notre Dame, probably not the main student newspaper.
But they distributed a survey through a variety of means.
It says the survey was sent to a variety of student dorms, nonpartisan clubs, and it was distributed in classes.
And they got results from 700 Likely student voters, is what they said.
This is not scientific, probably.
It's not ultra-scientific.
It does look like they did—it was not just they got whoever.
Like, they say they weighted the results to reflect the demographics of the student body to the best of their ability.
So they, you know, they tried some scientific methods, but it's not as randomized as, like, a Gallup poll would be.
Anyway, what it found was Trump beating Harris 48% to 46%, and that's notable because, yeah, Notre Dame's a Catholic university—Catholic.
But in 2020, they did a mock election.
The student government did a mock election.
So not the same people.
It's not the paper this time.
They did a mock election.
It had 3,500 votes.
That was about, I'd say, a quarter of the student body.
And that was Joe Biden 66%, Trump 29%.
And in 2016, there was a mock election.
Again, slightly different.
Only 850 students that time.
In 2015, there was a mock election, again, slightly different, only 850 students that
time, but it was 59% for Hillary, 24% for Trump.
So we have two past mock election results, also of dubious scientific merit, but those
showed big Democrat win.
Now we have a poll that, you know, at least tried to be representative and it showed basically a dead heat.
And so, are they going to do another election at Notre Dame, potentially?
Like another mock student government election?
I doubt it, just maybe they will.
I don't know exactly what the plans are there.
I guess the student body's won when they did them, and the last time was right before the election, so they might do it when November arrives.
So at that point, I guess we'll see.
And so everyone, if this is correct, which is a big if, that means that the youth vote at Notre Dame moved almost 30 points?
Yeah.
Now, let's say that's half true.
If it moves 15 points, that's... That's a big deal.
That's major.
Very big deal.
And you can't... It's not just the fact that you're getting their votes specifically, but what this does to a lot of Democrat stuff downstream.
Democrats have always been able to count on having a huge number of volunteer bodies to do a lot of their electioneering work when it approaches.
They just have these young people who have tons of free time are willing to go do this.
If that number has gone down, That messes with their turnout stuff.
Also, Democrat get-out-the-vote has always benefited from there being so many places where if you up the turnout, it's 90% Democrat.
So, you know, they've always benefited from, oh, if we just get out the vote in like this black neighborhood in a city, we don't really need to aim for Democrats because almost everyone will be a Democrat.
That's right.
All of their get-out-the-vote is less efficient if those groups are a little bit less Democrat overall.
Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
Have you heard about Dinesh D'Souza's new movie?
It's based on his book by the same name, Vindicating Trump.
This movie is a searching examination about the real reasons why the left and the Democrats hate Donald Trump so much.
They call him a tyrannical dictator, but in truth, it's the American government's authoritarian regime that's afraid.
Afraid that Trump will dethrone them once again.
As a charismatic leader, he mobilizes the people, he gets things done, and they don't like it.
That's why they're trying to get rid of him.
To throw him in jail using lawsuits and indictments.
And even an assassination attempt on his life.
Vindicating Trump reveals Donald Trump as the only man who can defeat the tyranny of the left.
And that's why we need his leadership.
Now more than ever.
Don't miss Dinesh D'Souza's unqualified defense of Trump based on his book, Vindicating Trump, in theaters nationwide starting Friday, September 27th.
Make your plans now.

Joining us now is Miranda Devine, author of the—congratulations on the new book, Miranda, The Big Guy, How a President and His Son Sold Out America.
But we're here to talk about a different potential criminal, and that is Eric Adams, the mayor of New York.
So walk us through just some of the facts associated here, Miranda, and then I have a very specific follow-up question.
There's a lot to do with upgrading first-class flights of Turkish Airlines.
What are the details here?
They're pretty jaw dropping, really.
Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted on charges that he allegedly took $10 million in illegal campaign contributions and bribes.
And as you said, that includes, you know, free flights and various other perks from foreign nationals.
And, you know, it's interesting that he's Claiming that he's been targeted by the Biden administration because he complained about, you know, the city's just really awful illegal migrant crisis.
It's cost the city more than five billion dollars so far.
But, you know, when you look at the indictment, these are pretty serious charges.
So I guess you could say both are true.
Maybe the feds would not have investigated him.
If he hadn't displeased the Biden administration with his outspoken complaints, but they certainly did find something.
Yeah, I guess that was going to be my question.
Is that is he actually a criminal or is it because he was he spoke out a little bit too much against the regime?
Maybe it's both.
And look, he did speak out, but that's kind of all he did.
What he was really saying was, oh, we need more money from the Biden administration to be able to accommodate all these migrants and we are a sanctuary city, etc.
It's been a total disaster.
And I think he's tried to be, he certainly was better than Bill de Blasio, who totally destroyed the city in his two terms.
But He has sort of managed to get on top of crime and homelessness slightly, but the illegal migrant crisis came on his watch and he really while he sort of thundered a little bit, he really didn't do much that was concrete apart from accommodate them and put
of New York into more and more debt. And he also is a bit of a man about town. You know, he's always
at Zero Bond, which is this nightclub downtown scene, comes very late. He's a real night owl and
is seen with the, you know, the rich and famous. And he seems to love that, dresses beautifully.
And thank you for joining us.
So he's a bit of a playboy guy.
And so it's not all that surprising if these charges have any merit to see that he was, you know, allegedly taking bribes.
Yeah, it definitely fits a pattern of someone who enjoys, let's just say, the high life of New York City.
He's commonly known, as you say, going to bars and clubs and hanging around.
And so, just how chaotic has his administration been?
Has he run this like a Tammany Hall, well-known, you know, Iron Fist mayor?
Or is it kind of more of a guy that enjoys the trappings of being mayor and his office is kind of a mess?
It's really Eric Adams and his entourage.
He just has these pals that sort of look relatively shady and they travel around with him and they go to these restaurants and, you know, dress slick like he does.
And it doesn't seem to be Tammany Hall organised, I'll say that.
And you can see how his Associates have just been falling like kingpins lately.
There have been, I think, six resignations, as I said.
The police commissioner and then even the interim police commissioner just got raided last weekend.
So there seems to be a lot of rot in his administration and certainly there's ample evidence for the Feds to go after whether or not, I mean they're all innocent until proven guilty, but and whether or not they amount to anything.
I don't think that Eric Adams can get away with just saying, oh, I'm being targeted because, you know, I spoke up for the city of New York.
You know, there's a hell of a lot of smoke here.
Yeah.
And I just, what does it say, Miranda, about the lack of integrity for the justice system?
When we see this indictment and my immediate reaction is, what is the motive?
Not that Eric Adams is this terrible criminal, but immediately I say, okay, what is really going on here?
Miranda, that's an unhealthy place for us to be as a country.
Yeah, it really is.
I went through the same thought process myself because my initial reaction was, oh, of course, they've targeted him.
You know, because remember, he was on a plane en route to Washington, D.C.
last year to confront Joe Biden about the illegal migrants who were being you know, flown and shipped into New York and the federal
government was refusing to fund any of the costs and was actually threatening to make New York pay for
a whole lot of previously like Medicaid and so on bills that were footed by the feds. And anyway,
he was on his way there and he gets told that there's been a raid on his office, that his
devices are being taken and he has to turn around go back to New York and he's met there by the feds.
So, um...
That seemed like it was a deliberate way of stopping him from coming to Washington and being a trouble to Biden.
I have no proof of this, but what it seems to me, just the pattern, the way that the FBI has been weaponized by the Biden administration to go after Joe Biden's political enemies, that it looks as if Eric Adams was deemed a political threat.
So the FBI was sicked on him.
They started searching and then they found a whole lot of dirt and the Southern District has come in and prosecutors probably acting completely honestly and above board as they would with any person Who's discovered with all this wrongdoing alleged attached to them.
They just are doing their job.
So Eric Adams is at fault for having dirt that could be found.
But by the same token, there are a lot of Democrats doing a lot of dirty things.
You look at Joe Biden, you look at his family.
All the influence peddling that they were up to.
You look at Nancy Pelosi and others, including Republicans in Washington who are making a fortune out of the stock market.
There's a lot of shady dealings going on in politics that would not be tolerated in the private sector. I was talking to a banker last night
and he was saying, you know, if he if he takes a meal or takes anything over $50 from a
foreign national, he has to declare it.
And that should be the way for politicians. It should be even more stringent considering the
power that they wield, but it's not.
And so therefore they get sloppy and you have these situations where when the hammer comes down, occasionally, very occasionally, there's a whole lot of dirt to be found.
Yeah, and I mean, that's well said.
And by the way, Miranda, I was joking around with Blake, who's here with me.
When he was on that flight from New York to DC, he was at Turkish Airlines.
Probably not, but we shouldn't be surprised.
What's so funny in it is you find these instances, like he's going to France for something, but because he wants to fly on Turkish Airlines, he flies all the way to Istanbul, which, you know, adds another 2,000 miles to the flight, and then he has to double back to France and he has this long layover in Istanbul and they have these text messages someone sends him it's like what where are aren't you in France he's like oh no I got to do the layover in Istanbul first we talked about this and there's so much funny stuff and he did this because he would be quote-unquote automatically upgraded on Turkish Airlines yeah basically it seems like there was this arrangement where he would buy a coach ticket and Turkish Airlines would come and they would you know just
You know, happily for free, I'd give him this $15,000 upgrade, and they would do this on every flight.
And there's another case where a friend or domestic partner of Adam's wanted to fly to... they wanted to visit Easter Island in the Pacific Ocean.
That's where those, like, weird Easter Island heads are.
Hard to get to.
And they have the discussion where he's like, I'm trying to see if Turkish Airlines has a flight to Chile.
Yeah, and that's not quite yet.
So, Miranda, I guess the thought process here is that, and by the way, just for the record, Turkish Airlines is an objectively great airline, I'm just gonna say.
Almost all, like, those foreign flagship airlines are amazing, and then you fly on an American airline, and you're like, ugh.
But you know why?
Because the government heavily subsidizes it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's not organically better.
Miranda, this is more than just flight upgrades, though, right?
I want to be clear.
The indictment is deeper than just flying first class.
Yeah, free hotels, you know, discounted luxury hotels, meals, entertainment.
You know, he wanted to live like a billionaire and it's this very similar pattern with Joe Biden.
He wants to live a lifestyle that he can't personally afford and that his salary doesn't give him and so he's just very susceptible to being bribed and duchessed by people who want favours and The problem is once you go down that track, you really become beholden to your benefactors and they ratchet up the pressure and they want more and more.
And, you know, it's so cheap, really.
I know that it's expensive.
I mean, like $12,000 upgrades on his trip to India, $41,000 to France, Turkey and China.
You know, it's not chicken feed, but by the same token, you're selling your soul.
You're becoming corrupt.
You'd think that you'd maybe want to get more money than that.
And then, of course, his campaign getting, you know, cash funds, which are sort of falsely put through the books, laundered in a different way.
So, I don't know.
It just seems pathetic that you would sell your soul for a first grade ticket, you know.
We all like travelling first class.
If we ever got the opportunity to do it, of course, it's much nicer than coach.
But honestly, I think it would be much better for him and for everybody else if he just remained humble.
And I think he's going to have the book thrown at him.
Well, speaking of the book, everyone should get a different book thrown at them.
It's called The Big Guy by Miranda Devine, How a President and His Son Sold Out America.
Miranda, I would like to have you back on sometime soon to discuss that book.
And the other question I was going to ask, but we're out of time, is, isn't it interesting, Eric Adams gets indicted for first-class flights, but, you know, we don't yet have that big Biden indictment for selling out the country for cash.
It's interesting.
Yeah, 100%.
And I'll just say one more thing, which is that John Katzmatidis, who is the New York billionaire and owner of Gristidis and owner of WOBC Radio, a great guy, you know, he He should be interim mayor.
I don't think that there's so many problems besetting New York at the moment.
He's going to be totally distracted.
And I think John Katsimatidis has shown an interest in doing that.
He's a great man.
Wouldn't he be great?
He'd be a phenomenal mayor.
I know his son.
They'd be terrific.
Miranda, thank you so much.
Great idea.
Thank you.
Thanks, Charlie.
Hey everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
What an unbelievable start to 2024.
We had last month saving babies with preborn by providing ultrasounds.
And we're doing again this year what we did last year.
We're going to stand for life because remaining silent in the face of the most radically pro-death administration is not an option.
As Sir Edmund Burke said, the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing, and we're not going to do nothing.
Your gift to preborn will give a girl the truth about what's happening in her body so that she can make the right choice.
$280 can save 10 babies.
$28 a month can save a baby a month all year long.
And a $15,000 gift will provide a complete ultrasound machine that will save thousands of babies for years and years to come.
And we'll also save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret.
Call 833-850-2229.
That's 833-850-2229.
Or click on the pre-born banner at charliekirk.com.

Please remember, it is time to chase ballots.
We are running out of time to register voters, and every one of you can be a force multiplier.
So let's just make this as simple as I can.
Find one voter today.
Find one voter today that is either not registered or will not be voting.
Blake, what is the turnout in 2020?
The turnout?
It was very high.
60%?
Let me bring it up real quick.
62%?
Let's see.
The turnout in 2020 was 66.6%.
A very demonic turnout for a demonic result.
I don't think we're going to have that kind of turnout.
2016 was 60.
So 6% total turnout increase is a lot.
So that still means, though, that 34% of the country doesn't vote.
Yeah, and for comparison, 2008, a very high turnout election, 61.5%.
Crazy.
What do you think we're going to have this time?
Probably 62?
I could see it being surprisingly low.
I could see like 58% or something, like the 2012 election.
That would actually help Kamala, believe it or not.
Okay, never mind.
It's going to be higher.
It's going to be great.
Drive high turnout.
Drive high turnout.
Go find a voter.
Okay, I want to get into the MSNBC interview here, Blake.
So, let's play Cut 1, 27.
Prices are still high.
Yeah, I agree with you.
You said you want to take this on by going after those who engage in price gouging.
Yeah.
But as somebody who supports free markets, who's a capitalist, how do you go after price gouging without implementing price controls?
Because once we get in this zone, people start to get worried and they say, I don't know what she stands for.
So just to be very frank, I am never going to apologize for going after Companies and corporations that take advantage of the desperation of the American people.
And yeah, I'm gonna go after them.
Yes, I'm going to go after them.
And that is part of a much more comprehensive plan on what we can do to bring down the cost of living, including housing, including the everyday needs of the American people.
That's not an answer to the question, really.
She just pivots to, like, I'm never going to apologize for doing the things we need to do to do the good things.
Yeah.
And just reminding you that fixing grocery prices is price controls.
And it's just like manifestly insane behavior.
Explain why, quickly.
Well, so first of all, the grocery industry is infamously the tightest margin industry, that's why.
Pharmacies came to be.
Yeah, it's very difficult to make a lot of money in groceries.
It's a highly competitive good that everyone needs.
They basically get by on 1 or 2% margins.
And the idea that they just hike prices because of greed is just very silly.
And also, it's just food price controls are very classically a failed economic behavior
that's been a feature of very backwards governments.
You'll see it in Venezuela.
You'll see it in Cuba.
You'd see it in the Soviet Union.
And what you get is shortages.
When you do price controls on goods, the result is not, oh, the goods are cheaper and it's great!
You get shortages, because prices are a mechanism to keep supply matching with demand.
That's right.
That's how the supplier and the demander, or the customer, communicate.
So yes, you will get food shortages if Kamala gets her way.
Let's play Cut 134.
The word of the day is holistic.
Some of the work is going to be through what we do in terms of giving benefits and assistance to state and local governments around transit dollars.
And looking holistically at the connection between that and housing.
And looking holistically at the incentives we in the federal government can create for local and state governments to actually engage in planning in a holistic manner that includes prioritizing affordable housing for working people.
Madam Vice President, what does holistic mean?
Exactly. You use that word three times. What is holistic?
You know, the left can't define basic terms. I think you were onto something, Blake, where
someone in one of these interviews say, OK, so you say you're a prosecutor. Here's three
random questions. What is the Fifth Amendment?
Kamala, what is the Fifth Amendment? Can you tell me what it is? What was Marbury versus
Madison? Very simple, like, you know, establish judicial review. And I don't know. What was
What's one other?
Do some civil procedure question that a regular prosecutor would know.
I don't even have to know it, but a prosecutor should know it.
But those two right there are pretty simple, right?
What is Marbury v. Madison and what is the Fifth Amendment?
Do you think Kamala knows the answer to those two questions?
Unlikely.
In fairness, do you think Trump knows the answer on Marbury v. Madison?
But he doesn't pretend to be a prosecutor.
It's not a shtick.
Do I think Donald Trump knows what drywall is?
It'd be really funny if someone asked him a straight real estate question and have him just go.
I've had this idea for his campaign for a while, running out of time.
Donald Trump walking a job site and filming it would be hilarious.
He knows every detail of how job sites work.
Start telling a story about something.
100%.
