Hey everybody, Andrew Colvett in for Charlie Kirk today.
We talk with Raheem Kassam of The National Pulse about this Russian influence operation.
I don't know if you saw it, but Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray came out with a big press
conference and it involves some friends of the show.
We have some interesting takes.
You're not going to want to miss it.
And then Susan Crabtree from Real Clear Politics comes on to talk about a DEI initiative at
the U.S. Secret Service Agency that is pretty shocking given the events of the last couple
months.
She has the scoop right there, so you're not going to miss it.
If what we do on the show means something to you, if you get something out of it, please consider joining us at members.charliekirk.com.

Hey everybody, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.
This is Andrew Colvett filling in for the one and only Charlie Kirk.
I have the man, the myth, the legend himself, Raheem Kassam, editor-in-chief of TheNationalPulse.com.
The National Pulse.
Everybody needs to make it a go-to every day.
We're going to be talking about this Russian influence operations.
So Rahim, this story just took over the internet yesterday.
You were all over it.
The National Pulse has a great write-up on this right now.
So we're told there was this massive, extensive Russian influence operation going on in the United States.
Merrick Garland comes out and does a big press conference flanked by Christopher Wray.
And it felt like 2016 all over again.
Then you look into the details of this indictment and I'll just be really honest Rahim, it doesn't make sense.
So for our audience, lay out what they're alleging happened and the supposed influence that it had.
Yeah, look, and if the Chinese take the microphone out again, you'll let me know.
The crux of it is, and to pick up on something you just said, it does feel like 2016 all over again, in a lot of ways.
And in one particular way, the Russia collusion, the Russian interference stuff, Has kind of loomed little in the background, but for those that don't know, those that don't work day-to-day in politics and the media, some of us have known for quite some time now that this has been on the agenda of the political establishment.
I also see that there's some gremlins in the system regarding the camera here as well at the moment, so you just let me know if that all stays Stays level, Andrew.
Look, the long and short of it is this.
The allegation from the U.S.
government at this point in time appears to be that some foreign nationals funneled money via a Canadian couple that then contracted with a number of external Tim Pool, Benny Johnson, a couple of others are named, or at least implied that they were part of some scheme.
but what it actually says is that they were kind of unwitting, unwilling participants in said scheme,
that this operation that they claim existed was not known to anybody,
that actually ended up being either a target or a recipient of this influence operation,
and that this Canadian couple were really the go-between for a lot of this stuff.
Now, it's really interesting to me, having looked at this and having studied this,
that this person that they have alleged is involved in this, Lauren Chen, who I personally don't know, and I'm not
trying to malign anyone here, but that has been quite anti-Trump in her rhetoric over the
last couple of months on social media.
A lot of people have been pointing that out, yet that somehow this was a Pro-Trump, a pro-MAGA operation designed to peddle Russian favourable narratives, peddle Russian talking points, especially pertaining to the war in Ukraine and so on and so forth.
But again, It smacks of 2016 because if you actually read through this thing, you go by line by line, the smoking gun doesn't appear to be anywhere near MAGA World.
It doesn't appear to be anywhere near these conservative American influencers, reporters, YouTubers, whatever.
It appears to be And I want to talk about this in a second.
It appears to be this kind of orchestrated long-running conflation between people who take certain positions, for instance, on the war, that perhaps America shouldn't have an oversized role in that war.
Perhaps Americans should be spending money in the United States trying to repair American cities, crazy as that may sound.
And then, of course, you have this, you know, this grand backdrop to all of this, which is that, of course, so many people on the political left have been implicated in FARA, Foreign Agent Registration, violations.
The Democrat senator from New Jersey, Bob Menendez, was recently convicted of taking money in gold bars from the Egyptian authorities.
You've had Hunter Biden implicated in Ukraine, Burisma.
You've had Joe Biden and his family implicated in China.
And one of the things that really stood out to me about this story as it was released was,
you know, we have banged on at the national polls for about four, four and a half years now
about how US.
media outlets, their journalists and their executives have often visited with the Chinese Communist Party, think tanks, organizations, pressure groups, not just in the United States, but actually in mainland China as well.
So going so far as to participate in what they called Marxist journalist training schemes That actually what this feels like at this point is a long-confected narrative that is trying to undermine the fact that the left has been at this with China, with Ukraine, even with Russia and a lot of others for a long time, Andrew.
Yeah, you know, this is, when I say it doesn't make any sense to me, is you essentially, you know, we know some of the players involved, Tim Poole, Dave Rubin, Benny Johnson, all friends of ours, all friends of the show, and they basically were getting paid to post content that they were already You know, posting.
They just got extra money.
I mean, so, you know, I guess if anything, they could be sort of guilty of being, you know, a little unscrupulous.
I don't know.
But they were lied to and deceived by these actors.
Now, here's my point.
They basically, and Michael Knowles actually put out the stats here.
So if he's wrong, blame it on Knowles.
102.
So he says, over nine months, Tenet Media racked up just 16 million views, 50,000 followers on X, 20,000 followers on Instagram.
The most impressive aspect of the story is not that Russia attempted to influence an influence operation, but rather that the operation totally flopped.
So this is my whole thing.
It doesn't seem like if they were trying to influence the American public that there was actually any influence really happening because it sort of existed in a vacuum of people that already sort of believed this way or thought this a certain way.
If anything, it succeeded in essentially smearing conservatives and giving the left a talking point that says we're in cahoots with the Kremlin somehow.
You made a brilliant point, Rahim, and I want to pick this up on the other side of the break.
We totally ignore the vast sums of money that are filtering through Democrat politics.
And by the way, there is foreign money flowing in right now and being concealed that is influencing... By the way, this is $10 million?
Far outstrips the $10 million.
None of this makes sense to me.
I was looking at the commentary online.
David Sachs is saying none of this makes any sense if not to just smear conservatives.

So Rahim, you know, it strikes me as a bit of hypocrisy out of the DOJ, right?
They make this big song and dance, Russian interference, 2016 again, conservatives are bad, Putin, Putin, Putin.
Meanwhile, you've got the NFL playing a game in free speech-hating Brazil tonight, profiting off the back of a nation that is actively at war with free speech, arguably the most American of values.
You've got the NBA that is actively getting influence by the Chinese Communist Party.
Hollywood's been taken over in large part by the Chinese Communist Party.
They change whole storylines to make the Chinese look like heroes in Hollywood, and yet we don't hear about Chinese influence.
More, almost to the point, you have foreign money flowing in.
In the open, for this election in November, tell us a little bit about how foreign influence actually does come in and affect our elections.
Ways that we're not hearing about from the DOJ.
Yeah, and look, as it pertains to media especially, it's a very, very murky area because so many of these companies, you think of the likes of News Corp, Fox, CNN, all of these, Bloomberg, all of these guys not only have vast, vast international operations, they also have vast, vast amounts A foreign cash sloshing around, foreign board members that sit at the tops of their companies that have an influence over what the news looks like and what you get to hear in your homes every single day.
We're pleased to say, delighted, certainly against the backdrop of all of this, that the National Pulse is 100% member funded.
I think it's $1.73 a week that it costs the ordinary American to join up to the national pulse and support Real News.
And we did that for a reason.
We did that because once you start to fundraise as a media organization, suddenly all these interested foreign actors start coming out of the woodwork.
And we just didn't want to have to deal with any of that.
Frankly, I didn't really want to have to deal with any big money people in the U.S.
to From the very top, right down to the kind of very, very basic reporting level, it's a massive pay-for-play scheme.
It's a massive Ponzi scheme that you're seeing taking place.
And what they're laundering is not just money into the American political and media processes, they're laundering information.
They're laundering falsehoods a lot of the time.
You mentioned China.
is far and away more influential with things like this than Russia,
than any kind of other malign actor than Iran, you name it.
And we never ever seem to talk about that.
To come back to your question, they put PACs together, political action committees.
and funnel money into those, not just in Washington DC, but all across the United States as well.
Yes.
They put together operations and organizations at a school level.
You know, you have all of these Chinese Communist Party backed schooling operations
that we've revealed so much about.
Exactly, exactly. The Confucius Institute all across the country.
And what do those organizations do?
They peddle propaganda, they peddle falsehoods.
And what comes in exchange for those things?
Oh, that's right. It's cold, hard cash.
And yet none of those people involved in those schemes are ever indicted.
None of those people in those schemes, knowingly, by the way,
knowingly involved in those schemes, are ever held to account.
No, Rahim, this is why something just doesn't make sense.
Something smells fishy to me about this.
And I'm not, you know, yes, these allegations are against, you know,
people that seemingly knew that money was coming from Russia.
But here's the thing that doesn't make sense, is it didn't have much influence.
I mean, just by way of contrast, this is just Charlie Kirk, our team here, within this office that I'm currently sitting, we almost did 200 million views on TikTok and YouTube in the last 60 days.
200 million views.
Like, we crushed the influence operation that was obviously not very good.
It was a total flop.
But they're always obsessed, always, with Russia, Russia, Russia.
And that should be a big red flag to everybody in the audience.
Rahim, one more time, how do people follow you?
How do they support what you're doing?
The amazing work at the National Polls.
Yeah, and look, I want to commend everybody to go and look at this video I did for PragerU a couple of years ago about Al Jazeera and the Qatari money influence that flows into the United States, too.
And this is an organization, by the way, that is accredited to go in rapport in the White House, in Congress.
It's heinous.
If you want to come and support TheNationalPulse.com, it is TheNationalPulse.com forward slash upgrade.
It's real news, written by real people, not bots, not AI, none of that, and supported by ordinary people like yourselves.

Okay, without further ado, Susan Crabtree from RealClearPolitics, welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show!
Honored to have you with us today.
How are you doing, Susan?
I'm doing great.
Thanks for having me, Andrew.
I really appreciate it.
Of course.
Honored to have you.
You've been on this Secret Service story.
You've been getting leaks.
You've got some amazing sources you developed within that agency.
Tell us about this newest one that has to do with LGBT getaways.
You lay it out for our audience, Susan.
Well, yesterday, well, let me start.
for last week, we learned that the Secret Service and the Department of Defense, that they were going to,
the Department of Defense was going to lend the Secret Service a number of their officers and employees
in order to boost their numbers because they were 650 people down,
special agents and uniformed division officers down for the UN General Assembly,
which is meeting in New York City at the end of this month.
And that's kind of a concern among the special agents.
They're saying, well, are they going to be trained?
Is this gonna be, what about the optics?
Do we really wanna have our Secret Service protectees look like sort of a militarized zone?
They were just sort of digesting this news.
And then just yesterday, about a few hours after it was sent
they were flabbergasted, some of the rank and file who'd speak to me regularly about this email
that was sent out saying, hey, we're gonna have, we're gonna send a number of nominees
from the Secret Service to Disneyland for this out, basically an LGBTQ pride conference
and leadership conference.
Do we, we need you to nominate every assistant, A director in the agency, across the entire agency, needs to nominate someone for this conference that's going to be held at Disney World from October 3rd to October 7th.
And just, I mean, I think that people at the rank and file are tired of the DEI policies that have not put them in good standing in terms of, you know, especially in the wake of the assassination attempt.
And all of these shortages, they are working so hard, these agents, at the peak of the campaign season right now.
I mean, they're stretched so thin that they're bringing in the military, yet we have enough manpower to go ahead and send people to Disneyland?
Like, hey, I'm going to Disneyland!
So I really think that this just did not sit well with the people I was speaking to, people who have their overtime limits already.
Yeah, and Susan, you know, this overlaps with some of the whistleblowers that have been speaking to Senator Hawley, who we had on the show earlier this week, saying that, you know, he's now uncovered that from these whistleblowers that there were DHS agents protecting President Trump in Pennsylvania.
They weren't even Secret Service agents, and they had a two-hour, like, web seminar where the audio wasn't even working to train them to protect President Trump from a would-be assassin that unfortunately did end up happening that day.
I don't understand who is overseeing this Office of Diversity, or it's actually, they changed the order, it's the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Office, EDI, and they say in this email they're responsible for implementing internal and external strategies to maximize the potential of a diverse workforce. To further our diversity initiatives, the Secret
Service annually participates in various minority training conferences, which are sponsored
by national organizations. How this furthers the core mission of the United States Secret
Service is a complete mystery to me, but it's also, to your point, it makes a mockery of
the very important work that these men and women are supposed to be doing day in and day
out in the, as you mentioned, height of the election season.
Tell our audience, what is this doing to morale?
I mean, this is already an overworked agency.
They're stretched thin.
This is the toughest season for them, you know, two months before an election.
What is this doing to morale of the rank and file?
It's just obliterating it.
I mean, I think that's why I got that email.
It's because These Ring of Fire special agents and uniformed division officers are fed up.
They are completely fed up with what they're getting from the leadership on the 8th floor in the wake of the assassination attempt.
And just in general, the DEI policies were a problem predating the assassination attempt.
We saw that it was the writing was on the wall.
I wrote about this in April.
I think it was early May.
The incident was in April, where you had a Secret Service agent, a woman agent, have
a complete mental breakdown at Joint Base Andrews.
Come to find out, I did a little digging, and this woman, her name is Michelle Herzig, she was flagged by many people, many of her peers, as having mental problems during her training at the Rally Training Center.
And she was still pushed through.
Guess who was in charge of the Rally Training Center when that occurred?
It was Kimberly Cheeto.
She was the director.
She was obviously the one that oversaw this whole, we're not going to beef up security for Donald Trump.
We're going to deny, deny, and deny security requests for increased assets from his detail.
The head of the Trump detail themselves were requesting this, not just the campaign.
They were also requesting it for Mar-a-Lago, and I reported on Friday that there was a breach last year in December, and Mar-a-Lago, a juvenile, got in, did a cannonball, or jumped in the pool, and was there for about an hour.
And the actual, the leaders of the Donald Trump detail had requested more security assets for Mar-a-Lago, and were denied.
They finally got $4 million worth, but at that time only had a fraction of that implemented.
The Secret Service has been raising cane about the need for greater protection.
They've also told me, you know, Senator Hawley, as you mentioned, said that news to me, that what was news to me was the glitching on the webinar that they received.
But yes, I had reported that a majority of the poststanders, they're called, the people that just do the basic role of Secret Service, stand there and watch for bad guys.
That's what their job is.
They're called poststanders, most elemental part of the Secret Service.
Almost of those were Homeland Security investigative special agents that
are not trained in Secret Service protective details. They received what I was told was a
PowerPoint presentation, one or two hours, and now we know that there were glitches in that PowerPoint
presentation from Senator Hawley's whistleblowers. So yes, I mean, this is all of deep concern.
These agents have reached their, what's called a super max limit on their overtime. So they
don't, they get paid time and a half on overtime. And they're beyond that. So they're not even
getting paid for the extra work that they're required working a lot of times, seven days of the
weeks and with no time off in a row.
Well, yeah, and we know that the schedule that they keep up on these campaigns, at least on the Republican side with J.D.
Vance.
J.D.
Vance was here in Phoenix.
I think he's doing another event at the Biltmore today, so he's on the road, two events.
Charlie was with him last night in Mesa.
You got President Trump doing the town hall.
Now he's doing another event today.
It looks like that's concluded.
But I mean, these guys are keeping up this ferocious pace.
And people don't think about the Secret Service agents that have to keep up, do advance on that work.
I mean, it is a tremendous job that requires a lot of manpower.
And I think this is why your reporting is so important, Susan, is because you're getting at the point that Behind the scenes, there is this pernicious DEI initiative that does not further the goals or the main mission objective of the Secret Service, and it's been going on for some time.
I think it's really telling, as you said, that this incident happened in April.
This is before the July assassination attempt, and agents were already blowing the whistle on this.
Your story was out in May that this has been going on behind the scenes and you have, I mean, I think there was the 30 by 2030 initiative, if I'm not mistaken, right?
So it's basically 5% of applicants to the United States Secret Service are female.
But under Cheadle's leadership, they were trying to increase the rank and file to 30% female by 2030.
How does that make sense and how does that communicate to the rank-and-file that they have a serious job with a no-fail policy or we lose the potential leader of the free world, in this case Donald Trump, who is in many ways favored to win in November?
I just think this whole thing stinks of institutional rot, and my heart goes out to the rank and file of the Secret Service, because I've seen them in person.
We host President Trump, we host J.D.
Vance, we see them working their butts off, and we see them, they want to get selfies with Charlie.
I mean, a lot of these guys are great guys.
There is corruption at the top of this agency.
Your final thoughts?
Yeah, we saw that.
Director Cheadle was doing what she was told by the Obama—I'm sorry, the Biden administration.
They put out a directive.
That they wanted more emphasis on DEI and she was following through because she was handpicked by Jill Biden because she was close to them during the presidential detail when Biden was vice president.
This is the problem at the Secret Service.
They're too close to the protectees.
In this case, Jill Biden hand-selected Cheadle.
She implemented this 30 by 30 initiative by what my sources tell me that she had already reached the 24.9%.
They've already reached around 25% women in the Secret Service.
She was very proud of that.
And that she planned to exit in December.
And she was trying to get those numbers up.
And it doesn't make any sense.
They say it's threat-based.
They say their protection is threat-based.
But then you see things like this happening.
And it's just unreasonable.
Susan, you're like a dog with a bone on this story.
So follow her work.
She's getting to the bottom of this Secret Service story.

Just to reiterate, 360 million views.
This team right here in this building, with Charlie's leadership, has secured across TikTok and YouTube, just two platforms, 360 million views in the last 60 days.
This is civilizationally changing.
This is a civilizational defining type of numbers and I'm genuinely proud to be a part
of it.
These videos go viral, it's a whole genre of Charlie just sitting there and debating
bad ideas that get planted in these young people's minds and deconstructing them point
by point by point.
One of the worst ideas that has been implanted in the left and then actually acted upon is
this warfare strategy and there's a video out this morning from Steven Crowder and his
team so hat tip to them exposing that even Department of Justice officials know that
the lawfare strategy employed against President Trump so that they could attach this moniker
of convicted felon to his name is complete garbage.
It's a breaking video.
It's very, very important.
So, Steven Crowder came out with this this morning, and the subject, for those of you who don't know, when Project Veritas kind of went away, O'Keefe Media Group popped up, James is a good friend of the show, he's still doing amazing work, some of the other journalists went over to be with Steven Crowder.
So, he's now doing hidden videos, these sort of, you know, clandestine reporting.
And this time they targeted a guy named Nicholas Beaz.
I believe I'm pronouncing that right.
He's a former colleague of Alvin Bragg and Chief of Public Affairs for the Department of Justice's Southern District of New York.
So, right in the center of the action when it comes to President Trump and lawfare.
And in this video, he admits that Bragg's case against Trump is quote-unquote nonsense.
Disgusting!
End quote.
A perversion of justice.
That's right.
A Department of Justice official who's right there in the Southern District of New York.
Chief of Public Affairs.
This is no schlub.
This is a top guy.
Top comms guy.
This felony did nothing to stop Trump from running.
saying that it was a perversion of justice and he says this and Blake was actually the
one that pulled this quote out so thank you Blake.
They are so obsessed with getting Trump.
Every real estate person in New York does what he did.
Nobody's ever been charged with this.
Let's go ahead and play cut 107.
This felony did nothing to stop Trump from running.
No, in fact they made him more relevant.
Did that backfire?
I don't know.
I'm sorry.
Bye!
Sure did.
And the whole thing is disgusting.
And they're just out to get him.
That's why, like, the surgeons are here.
You know, it's a perversion of justice.
Who's stacking charges and, like, rearranging things just to make it fit a case?
No.
Why?
To be honest with you, I think the case is nonsense.
State level is like a f***ing wild quest.
They're like idiots, they don't care, they're all political.
Um...
So yeah, this guy's probably gonna try to lock them up.
And there is gonna be... it's gonna be ugly.
They're so obsessed with getting him.
They're so obsessed with getting him. A perversion of justice.
This... this is a... now... to be clear...
This gentleman, Nick Biaz, he has responded to this explosive video, this undercover video,
