We have the great Will Sharf with us right now.
Will, thank you for making time for us here.
Will is one of President Donald Trump's attorneys, hopefully the next Attorney General of Missouri.
Will, your reaction to this somber day, the verdict in New York.
Not surprising, but very tragic.
Yeah, as you said, Charlie, not surprising, but it's just a tragic day in the history of the American Republic.
I mean, we've seen just the total weaponization of law enforcement, of prosecution, and of the courts by Joe Biden and his political allies to oppress his principal political opponent, President Trump.
It's absolutely outrageous.
We're obviously going to be appealing this verdict.
We're going to be appealing it vigorously and quickly.
And in the meantime, Americans are being treated to this sad spectacle of President Trump being indicted and now convicted for total non-crimes, made-up crimes by a crooked Democrat district attorney here in New York.
It's just absolutely outrageous.
And I guess my key takeaway, my key message is just that we're not going to stop fighting.
President Trump is not going to stop fighting, and the American people shouldn't stop fighting.
So just how is the president doing personally?
Where is his head at?
What is this bringing him down?
He doesn't look it.
He looks like he has more spirit and more resolve in an unprecedented grittiness.
Will sharp.
You know, I was with him over at Trump Tower about an hour ago, just before he got in the motorcade to go out to Bedminster.
He actually told me to give you his best, Charlie.
He said that you're one of his favorite people.
But the president's spirits are high.
I mean, he understands that this is a sham.
And I think more importantly, he knows that the American people know that this was a sham trial.
And I think he derives great strength from that.
As he said last night, the real verdict is going to be the verdict of the American people next November.
He's crushing it in the polls.
He's going to be our next president.
And I think that'll give the Democrats pause, that this crazy campaign of weaponization, this campaign of lawfare that we've been facing, if we beat it, if it fails, hopefully we won't have to see the likes of it again in American history the same way we've never seen it before.
Will, I want you to comment on something here.
And I think you are uniquely positioned to riff on this.
There's a group of people that are temperamentally conservative.
They've been, they're center right, but they don't like Trump.
And they have a lot of trust in the legal system.
Just as a vibe check yesterday, you know who I'm talking about, right?
They tend to be college-educated.
Again, these are decent people.
I think their politics are a little screwy at times, but they're not liberals.
They are not leftists, but they're institutionalists.
They trust the institutions that were handed down by prior generations to be a check and balance on radicalism and bad ideas, that the institutions will save us.
From a vibe check yesterday, Will, I saw a complete sea change.
I saw people that were once very defensive of institutions all of a sudden say, oh my goodness, this is worse than I realize.
Will, can you riff on that?
I think this is a very important topic.
I think the veil has fallen.
I think the American people see what's going on here and understand what's going on here.
This was not a normal criminal prosecution.
This was a ginned-up charge, a totally unique charge in the history of the New York courts that was rammed through a couple months after President Trump announced his campaign for presidency.
If President Trump weren't running, he never would have been prosecuted and he obviously wouldn't have been convicted.
So when we talk about the politicization of the courts, when we talk about political prosecutions, when we talk about this being banana republic stuff, that's what we're talking about.
And I think Americans are waking up to it.
I think exactly the sorts of folks that you're talking about, some of them, unfortunately, are going to continue sort of mouthing platitudes about the importance of the system and institutions and whatever else.
But I think for most people, for all the normies out there, I hope that they finally understand that if you cross this new modern left, a totally deranged, unhinged left, they will literally try to throw you in prison.
It's Stalinist.
It's banana republic type stuff.
It's just absolutely disgusting.
And I hope the American people are taking notice.
And I think that many are finally waking up.
I think that's right.
I want to get to a piece of tape here, but I just want to, one of the top questions people have is, how will Trump run if he is in jail?
Now, I want to just be very clear.
That is unlikely, but I wouldn't be shocked if Alvin Bragg asks for prison time and the judge requests it.
How does that work with July 11th sentencing?
Yeah, he's not going to go to prison.
As soon as we have his sentence, we will immediately appeal to the New York Appellate Division.
If, God forbid, there were to be a prison sentence, we would have powerful ways of challenging that as well.
We are going to take this thing as high and as far as we can as quickly as possible, including, as I've said previously, to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary.
The chances of a prison sentence here are slim.
We've said from the start that the only realistic outcome here is a talking point for the Biden campaign, which is obviously what they wanted.
They want to be able to call President Trump a convicted felon.
But I think ultimately our justice system will get it right.
I think ultimately President Trump will be exonerated.
And ultimately, this unjust verdict will be thrown out because it is just that.
It is an unjust, totally unfair verdict from a crooked court.
We had a wildly biased judge who should have never been on this case.
And fortunately, we have powerful mechanisms available to us in the legal system to challenge each and every aspect of this prosecution in this trial, and we will.
I love the clarity.
I mean, you thought this through brilliantly, Will.
I want to get to a piece of tape here, which I think is very important.
And this is some people on the left that are celebrating this.
Let's play cut 147.
We've been holding our breath as a country for a long time, waiting for the cavalry to arrive in the form of the rule of law.
And it did arrive today.
And it's a majestic day.
And we are rightly saying the system worked like clockwork.
And the jury was diligent and attentive.
And the judge was firm and gentle.
Donald Trump is a different person now.
He's a convict.
He's not innocent until presumed guilty.
He is guilty.
He will get bail, it's true, but he's in a whole different status in society in the legal system, in the rule of law.
That's not only fitting, but a kind of miracle is too strong a word, but a really day for celebration just because of the work like clockwork of the system, powered by not the personalities, but the law.
Will sharp your reaction.
If any of these leftists can, in under a paragraph, accurately explain what President Trump was charged with and what he's been convicted of now, I would be absolutely stunned.
This is a made-up, invented crime that has never been prosecuted before in the history of the state of New York.
What they did here is very simple.
They wanted to indict President Trump.
They figured out this phony legal theory that allowed them to drag him into court.
There was a biased judge who presided over a rigged trial who rammed a verdict down the throat of these 12 jurors.
That's what happened here.
And don't let any of the left celebration and their pronouncements about the rule of law fool you.
This was a rigged trial from the start, intended to interfere in the 2024 election.
In the Federalist Papers, James Madison writes about the use by political faction of newfangled and artificial treasons to oppress their political opponents, essentially the weaponization of the courts and of prosecution by political faction to oppress their opponents.
And Madison writes eloquently about the great risk that that poses to any republic if we are to have a republic governed by the rule of law.
That is what we are seeing here play out in this New York court.
A newfangled and artificial treason, a totally made-up crime being used to oppress the principal political opponent of the regime in power.
And make no mistake about it.
This prosecution, all of these prosecutions start with Joe Biden and his closest allies in the White House.
And I hope to God they're held accountable at the ballot box this November, because otherwise I fear for the future of our republic.
You and the audience, we are the jury now.
We are the jury.
November 5th is now the judgment day.
It is the question of whether or not we have a border, whether or not we are going to have peace in the Middle East, whether or not we're going to have a stable currency, whether or not your kids are going to live in a free society, whether or not we have a legal system.
And it comes down to the elemental, the foundational aspects of a society.
If you can throw people you don't like in jail on made-up stuff, you don't have a country.
You are living an outright totalitarianism, period.
Okay, Will, I know you have about two and a half minutes here.
Very busy man.
Talk about how this election is bigger than just Trump v. Biden v. RFK.
No, no, no.
This is now the stakes of a civilization.
If we lose this election, I fear that we will no longer have a republic.
If we allow this bogus campaign of lawfare to dictate the future of our country, the left will do this every single time.
They will do it to every one of us.
Anyone who dares speak out against leftist tyranny will be imprisoned.
I think we are literally looking at the end of our republic.
And the only answer we have, the only answer we can have to that is getting out and voting next November, is making sure that this campaign of theirs ultimately fails.
And hope to God that they learn their lesson from that failure, because otherwise we are literally living in the end of the republic, that our republic will not last.
That's my great fear.
I know that's a fear of yours, Charlie.
Fortunately, I think the American people are waking up.
I think we are going to win.
I think it's going to be a landslide, a red wave, the likes of which this country has not seen in a long time.
I love you, Will.
I'm too paranoid to say those words, but I want to agree with you.
All I know is I get to work.
I never, we don't say the L word and we don't say the RW term.
I love you.
That's the way it should be, Will, but I just, we got, we have to stay there because we have to stay paranoid because only the paranoid survive.
Will, you're doing great work.
We're behind you 100%.
And if we had fair elections, if we didn't have a regime that hated us, that is what would happen.
But I'm afraid this thing is going to be a nail biter and we have to play like we're 10 points behind.
Will, thanks so much.
Chase every vote, Charlie.
Thanks a lot.
That is right.
He knows it.
That is right.
We chase every single vote.
And what does that mean?
That means that we are going to do the prep work.
You are going to do the prep work.
What does chasing ballots look like?
Well, right here on my phone, every single day, I wake up with an alert and it's an app called Countdown.
158 days till Judgment Day.
158 days till they count ballots.
It's 158 days.
But it doesn't start there.
What every single day are you going to give everything you can for this republic?
The stakes have never been higher.
They've never been higher.
The other side has contempt, hatred, has resentment for everything that we care about.
And it's going to come down to whether or not we're willing to chase ballots.
Here's what it looks like.
As soon as early ballots go out, that's when the work really begins.
Every single day, we are going to be saying, how many people were you able to get to submit their ballots?
And in states where ballot is harvesting is legal, how many ballots did you harvest?
And you've got to follow the law.
Follow the law.
But in Arizona, that's not legal.
So you ballot chase.
In Nevada, you can ballot harvest.
And we are now going to have the greatest full court press.
We're going to flood the zone in voting month.
We are going to own voting month.
And everyone has their task.
I was just talking to Katherine Engelbrecht this morning, amazing patriot.
She's all about election integrity.
Chasing Ballots in History00:04:26
You know what's so awesome?
She said, Charlie, I love the lane that you're in.
Can you give us some bodies to help us secure our election?
He said, absolutely.
We're working in harmony.
That's not our lane.
Our lane is flood the system, get the pieces of paper in there, chase the ballots, get the grassroots invigorated.
That is our lane, and we're good at it.
If I was not hosting radio, and if he was still alive, I could tell you exactly what I would be doing at 12 o'clock Eastern.
I could tell what I used to do.
Whenever there was something of consequence, Kabana hearing Donald Trump's victory, Donald Trump's impeachment, Russia Gate, Mueller, back when Obama v. Romney, I could tell you what I did in high school.
I would pull over my car, I'd turn on the local radio station at, that would be 11 a.m. Chicago time, turn on the volume almost all the way up, recline my chair, close my eyes, and I would listen to the greatest voice that God lent us, because it was just on loan from God, to guide us.
Whenever there was confusion, whenever there was calamity, whenever there was a time where we needed guidance, we let El Rushbo show us the way.
This is one of the last episodes of the Rush Lumbaugh program.
He predicted this to a T.
The man is a prophet.
And I praise God, I had the ability to get to know him, to email with him.
He spoke at our events.
I got to call him a friend.
He was a very generous donor to Turning Point USA.
This is one of the last things Rush Lumbaugh ever said on air.
Play Cut 186.
I know they desperately want Trump gone, and I know that they desperately want it codified that Trump cannot run again.
Because make no mistake, they remain scared to death of you, and they remain scared to death of Trump.
They can't separate you from Trump.
And more importantly, they can't separate you from the ideas.
They believe that they can destroy this bond that exists between you and Trump if they somehow make Trump look bad, make Trump look like a reprobate, embarrass you about Trump.
They can't do it because you came before Trump.
You came before Trump.
He predicted all the lawfare that we are living through right now.
And I would be listening for that steady hand.
And do you know what Rush Lumbaugh would be say?
If I could just impart a little bit of what I know Rush would say today, you know what he would say?
He'd say, I'll let you know when to worry.
And Rush never did.
Rush never told us when to worry.
He had such faith in the American people.
He had such belief in the grassroots, in the commoner, in the muscular class, in the police officer, the firefighter, the parent, the teacher, the welder, the veteran.
And this is what is so exciting.
It is now the will of the people versus the tyranny of the elites.
It is a ruling class that is high on their own supply on a top-down revolution that has made you poor, you can't afford groceries, that has opened up your border and allowed these foreigners to flood our country.
This top-down revolution of a bitter, resentful ruling class that wants nothing to do with your American way of life.
And that is what is really at stake right now.
What is the American way of life?
Own property, have children, get married, serve God, serve charity.
It is our privilege to be here in this moment of history.
That's the way you have to look at this.
It is all dependent on what we do at this.
You can look at this and say, boy, this is just nothing but terrible.
I've already, I've exhausted my mourning.
Now all of a sudden, I say, how awesome is this?
We're not just born in the 90s where, you know, the biggest concern was Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky and all that silly garbage.
No, this is now civilizational stuff.
Saving Preborn Babies Now00:02:24
You are alive with breath in your lungs to make an impact.
And for those of you that aren't fighters and you're Sunshine Patriots and your summer soldiers, that's fine.
Get out of the way.
Those of us that have been preparing for this for 12 years, we are delighted that the stakes are this high.
We are thrilled that we are able to lean in and make a difference.
We live for this.
And you might say, but Charlie, I just, I want, this is too much for me.
That's fine.
Some people are weak-kneed and fragile and they collapse at an opposition word.
That's okay.
Just don't get in our way.
But I know the American people.
I know that there's a percentage and a lot of us in this audience, you in this audience, a lot of us, where you've been waiting for this fight for some time.
And that's the way we must look at this as an opportunity, as we are now given the ability to rescue this great country.
That's awesome.
That's amazing.
That is a positive agenda.
And these people have done something evil and unpopular.
They've done something out of touch.
The vibe shift is off.
We are consolidating people of all backgrounds, and it's bigger than Donald J. Trump.
It is America that is on the ballot.
Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.
What an unbelievable start to 2024.
We had last month saving babies with pre-born by providing ultrasounds.
And we're doing again this year what we did last year.
We're going to stand for life because remaining silent in the face of the most radically pro-death administration is not an option.
As Sir Edmund Burke said, the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing, and we're not going to do nothing.
Your gift to pre-born will give a girl the truth about what's happening in her body so that she can make the right choice.
$280 can save 10 babies.
$28 a month can save a baby a month all year long.
And a $15,000 gift will provide a complete ultrasound machine that will save thousands of babies for years and years to come.
And will also save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret.
Call 833-850-2229.

Silicon Valley Waking Up00:15:20
Somebody just said, Charlie, I'm not really a grassroots worker.
I have five kids.
The Lord has blessed me financially.
I'm going to give Turning Point USA Turning Point Action $25,000.
It's amazing.
So that is his duty and his purpose and his task.
And the opposite is some people have emailed and said, Charlie, I don't have any money, but I have energy.
I have enthusiasm.
Some people say, Charlie, I can't leave the home, but I can pray.
That's amazing.
You can pray and fast for the nation, have concern for us.
And that's what it's going to take.
But it won't be comfortable.
It won't be comfortable.
You see, we are living through a comfort crisis in this country.
That is one of my favorite all-time books, by the way, by Michael Easter.
The comfort crisis is that we gravitate towards air-conditioned homes, the perfect temperature, catered meals, three meals a day.
And we think that discomfort is a nasty word.
Security is a kind of death.
And I'm telling you that now your forefathers, from Washington to Hamilton, to Madison to Jay, to Lincoln, to Roosevelt, Teddy Roosevelt, to Eisenhower, to Reagan, to the greatest generation that stormed Normandy Beach.
We're just asking you now to win an election.
We have with us right now David Sachs.
David, thank you for taking time to join the program.
You had one of the tweets heard around the world.
First, David Sachs is hosting a fundraiser coming up with Donald Trump in Silicon Valley.
David has not always been a major Trump supporter, but to his unbelievable and great credit, he is now leading the charge to raise capital for Donald Trump.
And David, welcome program.
David, tell us why.
What are the stakes of this election?
Gosh, well, the stakes just went up because it seems like what we're doing now is criminalizing political disagreements.
I mean, the way it works in a lot of banana republics is that if you lose an election, you go to jail.
And that's what it seems like right now.
I mean, this was a nakedly, transparently political prosecution.
Nobody but Donald Trump, I think, would ever have been prosecuted for this.
The case was a Frankenstein monster of novel legal theories cobbled together.
Previous prosecutors had looked at this and decided not to take up these charges.
The previous Manhattan DA, Cyrus Vance, Merrick Arlen's DOJ, the FEC, they all looked at this and decided there wasn't a case here.
But Alvin Bragg won a hotly contested DA race to succeed Cyrus Vance by promising to get Trump.
And that's what he did.
He brought this case.
And I suspect that within the ranks of the Democratic Party, he'll ultimately be rewarded for this.
So I think this is a new era of American politics where prosecuting your political enemies is now just part of the game.
And I guess I have to just add to that the irony of the Soros DAs who originally were running on a platform of deprosecution.
I think they're now going to pivot to over-prosecution of people they consider to be political enemies.
I think that's the import of this, or I'm afraid that that's the import of what's just happened.
Yeah, David, I hate to use that term existential because I sound like Greta Thunberg, but this is existential, right?
I mean, this is civilizational.
And are you starting to see more people gravitate towards that view?
People that are not necessarily the biggest Trump fans, but they realize there's something bigger at play here.
Yeah, I think so.
And I mean, I think the thing that people have to realize is that if this is allowed to work, meaning that the prosecution of Trump and impending punishment, whatever that is, we don't know what's going to be yet, if it's allowed to, if it works in the sense that it helps the Democrats win the election, then it won't stop with Trump.
I mean, this tactic will become normalized.
The dam has been broken and more prosecutors will use it and they will go after a, you know, they'll sort of go down the hit list and they will start targeting lesser figures as well.
And our justice system will become increasingly politicized.
I mean, we've already seen this with Elon Musk, right?
His companies have been under virtual assault by the government on charges that seem ridiculous.
Tesla being investigated for supposedly building a glass house, whatever that means.
SpaceX being investigated for not hiring enough asylum seekers, basically illegal immigrants.
We're already seeing the political charges, political investigations, politically motivated, I should say, against not just Trump, but against Elon Musk and his companies as well.
And I think that if Biden wins the election, I think we can expect this to intensify.
On the other hand, if Biden loses the election, then the message from that might be that he went too far and we start to bring things back into the balance that we had status quo ante.
So I think it's a very important election to send the message that political prosecutions are not okay in America.
And then that's a message that should appeal to a lot of people in the middle or the center.
At least I hope it does.
Yes.
I mean, I totally agree.
So, Rich, let me sorry, I was reading something rich here.
So, David, let's talk about your upcoming event that you're hosting with Donald Trump in Silicon Valley.
You tweeted out there are a lot more people that support conservative ideas than they'd ever lead you to believe because we look at Silicon Valley as a monolith, as a left-wing piggy bank, as one of the wealthiest places on the planet.
Talk about this upcoming event.
The bad guys are losing their mind.
What is going into this?
And why did you decide to host it?
Well, I've hosted a number of different events for different candidates.
And, you know, on the all-in podcast, we've had several candidates appear and they've done interviews on the show.
And we've also done an event for them.
So we did this for RFK Jr., we did it for Vivek Ramaswamy.
One of my co-hosts, Jamath, did one for Dean Phillips.
So this is something we've done.
We hope to get President Trump on the show.
And I think he, through his people, have indicated an interest in doing that.
I know he's pretty busy right now.
Yeah.
So that was part of it: we've been doing a number of these events.
And these events are a good way to interact with people in the political process.
So, you know, this is something that I've done now a number of times.
I did one for DeSantis during the primary.
And so it's not exclusively about Trump, but I was interested in doing this as well.
And I think that now we're in the reason why I think there's a lot more Trump supporters in Silicon Valley than maybe they let on is just because we're now down to the choice between Trump and Biden.
And these choices have been A-B tested, right?
Meaning we had four years of Biden, we have four years of Trump.
People can look back and just ask the question: was I better off under Trump?
Was the world a safer place?
Was it calmer or more peaceful under Trump?
I mean, if you actually just do the comparison, I think there's a lot of people who can see pretty easily that things were better under Trump.
And so the A-B test, so to speak, indicates Trump.
And so I think there's a lot of people who are closet supporters of Trump for that reason.
The other thing is that Biden has really doubled down on a set of policies that are not favorable and in fact are outright hostile to Silicon Valley.
So you take the 25% unrealized gains tax.
I mean, this is just an all-out assault on the basis upon which Silicon Valley works, which is broad-based stock ownership, right?
Founders create companies.
They own those companies through shares of stock that initially are worthless, but eventually, you know, in the one out of a thousand case, might be worth something.
And those shares are distributed very broadly to employees throughout the company.
And then they're also used to incentivize venture capitalists to take bets again on these companies that, you know, nine times out of 10 or more just won't be worth anything.
But in that rare instance, we'll create a great company.
Well, you know, the unrealized gains tax would force a lot of these people to have to pay taxes every year on gains that are illusory, that are just paper.
And where you get this money from is really not clear.
I think it would really, again, undermine and destroy the entire nature of Silicon Valley.
So I think if people are paying attention, they can just see that Biden's policies would not be good for Silicon Valley.
And so I think that Trump has a wellspring of support here.
And it's just people are afraid to acknowledge that.
Well, and I want to talk, so the oligarchy of Silicon Valley might benefit from that.
But there is, and this is important, it's not just Facebook, Google, Apple.
There are thousands of startup companies that are trying to do exciting things and try to have innovations.
It seems as if that Biden is fine giving a handout to the big ones, the multi-trillion dollar companies.
If you take Facebook, Google, Apple, I think it's like $4 or $5 trillion market cap combined, just of those three companies.
But it is the smaller, more entrepreneurial, disruptive companies that seem to be the target of the Biden tax policy and his agenda.
Well, look, I mean, every startup that gets to what we call like Series C, so basically by your third funding round, there's a very high chance that on paper, there would be the founders would have enough to trigger this unrealized gains tax.
And by the way, they call it a billionaire's tax, but it's not.
I think that it's triggered, I think, at $100 million and Elizabeth Warren wants to make that 50 million.
And the way these things go is that number will just keep coming down over time once they pass it.
Now, I know that sounds like a lot of money to most people, but I think it's important to understand that that money may not be real, that the shares of these companies can be worth a lot on paper, but a lot of times they don't materialize.
And it's unclear where people would get the money from to pay this tax bill.
And so just the risk of that happening would have to be thought through even at the creation of these companies.
So no one's going to wait for the Series C to figure this out.
And I think it's going to lead to a restructuring of the way that Silicon Valley does business.
So, you know, again, it's not, it'd be wrong just to see it as like some sort of rich person's tax.
You know, taxes create incentives.
They create structural problems.
And that can really change the way that Silicon Valley works.
And again, what's kind of magical about Silicon Valley is that it's not an oligarchy, you know, in terms of the two founders in their garage with a great idea.
That's the American dream.
You know, maybe by the end of it, you have a handful of winners who are kind of oligarchical, but the way you disrupt that oligarchy is by always allowing the two guys in the garage to create that new company to disrupt that old monopoly.
And so you really don't want to tamper, I think, with the kind of magical formula of that startup engine in Silicon Valley.
So, but look, this is just, Charlie, this is just one policy where I think Biden has been very bad.
Another one is just on crypto.
You know, there's a very, sorry to interrupt, David.
The president made a huge announcement this last weekend at the Libertarian Convention a week ago with some big promises on crypto.
Talk about that.
Yeah, exactly.
Well, so basically for the last three years, Elizabeth Warren and Gensler, the head of the SEC, have been driving the train on crypto policy.
And they are basically hostile to crypto.
And they either want to shut it down or drive it offshore.
And so there's a lot of startups and a lot of founders.
There's a lot of innovation happening on the blockchain.
And I think that a lot of the innovation has been moving to other countries because people, because founders don't have what they've been asking for, which is a legal regime that's clear that they can follow.
They just want a predictable set of rules that they can follow.
And they're happy to follow the rules if you'll just be clear about getting them.
And, you know, Gensler and Warren have played a lot of games with saying, well, companies can just go to the SEC and we'll work it out with them.
But that has not worked out.
That's not exactly what that's not exactly what's happened when companies have gone to the SEC.
Besides, who wants to go to the SEC?
You just want to understand what the rules are.
Just tell us what the rules are.
So in any event, the last three years have been very hostile to the crypto community, and they have increasingly become politically organized and formed effectively a lobby, an informal lobby.
And they are willing now to donate to candidates who support them.
And they can clearly see that Trump is, I'd say, pro-crypto.
He's pro-innovation.
And Biden is anti.
And I think they're increasingly willing to open their checkbooks for Trump.
Yeah.
And again, these coalitions are super important.
And these issues have more of a consolidation than not.
I want to ask you just kind of back to the fundraiser you're doing.
I'm just generally interested.
Have you received more backlash for this announcement than other fundraisers in the past?
You know, I haven't really gotten much backlash, but some of my friends have.
So the people who get upset about this are too cowardly to confront me directly about it.
They kind of go behind my back and try to put pressure on my friends to maybe get me to change my behavior or something like that.
That's kind of the way these people operate.
But to my face, no, there was a reporter from a local newspaper who was walking down the block ringing doorbells and buzzing gates asking if we were aware that one of our neighbors was throwing a fundraiser for Trump and how did we feel about that?
And the reporter didn't realize that the gate he was buzzing was the host of the event.
So there's that kind of stuff going on.
But people have, I mean, to be perfectly honest about it so far, I have not gotten a ton of blowback about it.
But again, I think it's just because people, the people, the people who would ordinarily do that, I think are too cowardly to do it directly.
Well, that is definitely comforting.
And, you know, I'll tell you, from Elon to yourself to Chamath to many people that are starting to come in this direction, this is so important, David.
We don't need every single, and I hate to call you an elite, but being at the topper end of the income ladder, you know, just to take the label in good step.
Just the last thing that I want to kind of talk about is important.
I mean, I think it's important.
I think that virtuous class traders actually are the missing ingredient right now in saving the country.
Weaker Borders and War00:12:56
Yeah.
No, I agree.
I mean, you know, it's, it's, I think Silicon Valley may be waking up to some degree to the fact they're supporting a candidate who is hostile to startup innovation, you know, whether it's crypto or just innovation across the board.
Why would you do that?
You know, it's not, it's not in your interest.
It's not aligned with your values, but it's just very hard to shake people out of this political tribalism that they're caught up in.
But again, I do think that there is more latent support for Trump than people are willing to express.
In other words, there's a lot of preference falsification going on.
And I think the reason why they get upset about events like this is because it could start a preference cascade, right?
If each person feels incrementally safer sticking their neck out and saying they support Trump, then it just gets easier for the next person to do it.
I mean, a lot of people have told me that they applaud what I'm doing in terms of holding this event because it makes it easier for the next person to say that they're supporting Trump.
And so I think this is their great fear is that, again, it starts a cascade where people feel more comfortable admitting that they secretly support Trump.
David, thank you for your leadership.
Thank you for doing that event.
It's terrific.
And come on again soon.
Thank you so much.
Check out the All-In Podcast.
Good to see you.
Thanks.
Thanks, Charlie.
Thank you.

That is tpaction.com/slash peoples.
TPaction.com slash peoples.
And let's just put that graphic up.
Let's play cut three up just on screen here.
This is Detroit.
We are going to take over Detroit.
This is very similar to Bronx Energy here.
President Donald Trump, Vake Ramaswamy, Ben Carson, Steve Bannon, Donald Trump Jr., Candace Owens, Benny Johnson, Tulsi Gabbard, Byron Donalds, Chris Dino, Lara Trump, Nigel Farage, Rick Scott, Jack Pesobic, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Eli Crane, Bishop Aubrey Shines, and more.
So check it out right now, tpaction.com slash peoples.
We're going to be doing all of our shows there.
We're going to be having breakout sessions.
We're going to show you how to fight.
If you have energy right now, you're saying, oh my goodness, I can't handle this.
I can't take it anymore.
Come to Detroit.
Get into the weeds of the grassroots.
You are going to be blown away at how sophisticated what we're doing at Turning Point Action is, what we are doing, how we are doing it, how we are putting together our forces.
That's what this is all about.
They indict, we unite.
They indict, we unite.
We unite all of our forces.
If you hate the Marxists, if you hate the totalitarians, let's marshal all of these together.
That's what this is about.
This is a call to action.
What a time to be alive, to be able to say that I was able to fight.
I was alive.
I was there when they did something that has never happened before in American history, ever in the history of the country, and we didn't take it.
And we said no.
That's what's in front of us.
tpaction.com slash peoples see in Detroit.
We are continuing.
We have done nearly, we went for nearly two hours yesterday.
My day yesterday was the three hours of radio.
I did an hour donor presentation.
I did an hour C-level meeting.
Then we live streamed right after for about 20 minutes.
Then I had a doctor's appointment.
Then we did two hours of rumble streaming.
And I got more energy than I've ever had.
Because what a time to be alive.
You know, some people are lacking in purpose.
Here's the cool thing.
And by the way, the number, we were one of the biggest streams out there yesterday.
We were great.
You have no lack of purpose if you're in this fight.
And look, by the way, this is not cut out for everybody.
I want to say that again.
Some people can't handle it.
As Jack Nicholas would say, can't handle the truth.
He can't handle the spice right now.
It's just too much.
Like, oh, this is too loud.
I'm not built for it.
Perfectly fine.
I do not fault you.
So not everyone has the C-legs that are necessary right now.
Not everyone has what it takes.
Because we are living through historic and monumental times.
Never in the history of the country has a president been convicted before.
It's never happened.
And they just make stuff up.
They just can make up the law.
But every indicator shows that this is not working for the Democrats.
Predictit.com is the most accurate betting market.
And this, because this is money.
You actually put money in.
This is not just guessing.
Right now, it's been going up and down all day.
It has 51% chance that Trump wins 49% Biden.
It was even more than that as the day started.
Biden spoke, and so it went up a little bit.
It's a little fickle.
Let's put 160 up on screen.
The screen grab is not the best screen grab, but it's fine.
Play cut 160 up.
It's the Afghan thing.
This is Sean McGuire, who's from Sequoia Capital.
He just donated $300,000 to Trump.
The Tate brothers, using the N-word on Twitter, I don't get it, whatever.
They donated $200,000 to Trump.
Again, I don't know what vehicles these guys are giving money to.
So I want to make sure that they're aware of turning point action because you can only give $2,800 to Trump, and then you can give up to $800,000 to the RC Joint Victory Committee.
However, that's not a problem that most people have to worry about.
What if his poll numbers go up?
What if he gets more popular?
Here's how I analyze the landscape: that the American people see this for what it is, and they're repulsed by the practice of it.
They might not love Trump.
They might think that Trump is kind of a jerk, but the American people are more wise than unwise when it comes to this.
They see that the trend is very disturbing.
They say, oh, boy, I don't like this.
This is how we're going to solve our differences.
We're going to just throw our political opponents in court.
The Democrats might get a little sugar high boost out of this.
You got Jamal Bowman dancing in the streets.
Do we have a clip of that?
You got the Levi Jeans guy, Dan Goldman, celebrating on morning Mika.
But you're not seeing the celebration in the streets.
You're not seeing the exuberance.
Let's play cut 185.
So that is Mr. Fire Alarm Puller, who is never held criminally accountable for that, who did something worse, by the way, than what most people on January 6th did, dancing to the conviction of Donald Trump.
These are bloodthirsty savages that want to see their political opponents put in prison.
However, the Democrats who know, it seems as if they're a little bit concerned that this is not hitting.
This is not resonating.
It's because the American people see this for what it is.
That this is a desperate, unpopular government that has made everything more expensive.
Your dollar weaker, your border open, and war is everywhere.
Dollar weaker, border open, war is everywhere.
An unpopular government that is doing the thing that no government has ever done before.
And if they were able to actually contest in legal and normal ways, here's the Biden crew.
Enjoy your cheers right now, Biden.
Play Cut 156.
Now that we have a verdict.
Obviously, these guilty verdicts are a political gift to Democrats, a political gift to the president.
He is now running against a convicted felon.
Yeah, running against a convicted felon.
Game on, guys.
That's all you got.
This was your big thing.
This was your big summer surprise.
But you have just awoken a sleeping giant and a motivated force.
So let's summarize this whole thing together here.
CNN senior legal analyst describes how the Trump conviction was a political hitchhiker.
Quote, the judge donated money in plain violation of a rule prohibiting New York judges from making political donations to a pro-Biden anti-Trump operation.
Alvin Bragg boasted on the campaign trail in an overwhelmingly Democrat county, it is a fact that I've sued Donald Trump over 100 times.
Most importantly, the DA charges against Trump push the outer boundaries of the law in due process.
The charges against Trump are obscure and nearly entirely unprecedented.
In no state, no prosecutor ever in New York or Wyoming or anywhere has ever charged a federal election law as a direct predicate of state crime against anyone for anything ever.
The DA inflated misdemeanors and the passed statute of limitations and electroshocked them back to life by alleging that falsification of business records was committed with the intent to commit another crime.
Inexcusably, the DA refused to specify what those unlawful means actually were.
And the judge declined to put them, to force them to pony up until right before closing arguments, so much for the constitutional obligation to provide.
Notice that the defendant accusations against him and evidence advance a trial.
In these key aspects, the charges against Trump are not just unusual.
They're bespoke, seemingly crafted individually for the former president, nobody else.
The Manhattan DA's employees reportedly have called this the zombie case because of its various legal infirmities, including its bizarre charging mechanism, but it's better characterized as the Frankenstein case, cobbled together with ill-fitting parts with an ugly, awkward, but more or less functioning contraption that just might ultimately turn on its creator.
This is a CNN legal analyst, CNN legal analyst.
They think that they can take out our movement with a documents case or a paperwork thing in New York.
Our movement is much stronger than that, and it is ascendant.
In fact, I think that if we do the work, we're about to hit a critical mass, that the MAGA hat is going to become the most popular thing in the country.
It went from polarizing to popular.
Boom.
It went from something that people were afraid to wear that they're proud to wear.
I think it's going to happen very quickly.
In fact, I think it's going to become unfashionable to say negative things against Trump because Trump is a political prisoner martyr and may have created a monster.
And the monster is coming after them.
And the jury couldn't even look Trump in the eyes after the verdict.
They know they did something wrong.
And Trump is a political dissident.
The Ascendant Political Dissident00:00:38
You are a political dissident.
All of us together.
And we have our marching orders.
November 5th, counting of ballots day is when we send our message.
And so what work are we going to do in the meantime?
We're going to find our voters.
We're going to register them.
We're going to do the work, persuade the other ones.
We outwork them.
We're going to have a good shot.
