Trump Jr. on Political Persecution
00:15:03
|
|
| Don, welcome to the program. | |
| How are you hanging in there? | |
| I'm doing well, my friend. | |
| How are you, Charlie? | |
| Good. | |
| It's been quite a couple of weeks here. | |
| Lots to cover. | |
| I want to start with Fareed Zakaria, who makes the argument we've been making. | |
| If your last name is not Trump, you would not be on trial. | |
| Play Cut 33. | |
| Whatever opposition he faced in the primaries has largely melted away. | |
| And the trials against him keep him in the spotlight, infuriate his base who sees him as a martyr, and even may serve to make him the object of some sympathy among people in general who believe that his prosecutors are politically motivated. | |
| This happens to be true, in my opinion. | |
| I doubt the New York indictment would have been brought against a defendant whose name was not Donald Trump. | |
| A majority of Americans are skeptical that Trump will be able to get a fair trial, according to a CNN poll. | |
| This is remarkable in many ways. | |
| I think he deserves credit for saying this out loud, but I actually believe deep down, most members of the media agree with him. | |
| They're just afraid to say it. | |
| Don. | |
| Well, they agree with him. | |
| They're afraid to say it. | |
| And they're hoping that they can get away with it anyway. | |
| I think that's the real problem, right? | |
| It doesn't really matter. | |
| The same people screeching about, you know, preserving democracy and rallying against fascism are the ones that have been acting like fascists and trampling all over democracy for the last eight years, Charlie. | |
| And that's the reality of this case. | |
| That same media is not talking about not just the New York case currently going on, but the AG case where there's literally no victim. | |
| The alleged victim is testifying that they got back all their money. | |
| They wanted to do more business with us and not less. | |
| They're not talking about the corruption in the Fannie Willis case. | |
| They're not talking about the FBI literally tampering with evidence in the documents case. | |
| They're not talking about any of these things. | |
| The average person has no idea. | |
| They don't realize that each one of the five cases out there where they've got him now of 96 indictments, each one of them is ripe with just insane levels of corruption, bias, things that you'd never see. | |
| Any one of these things should be thrown out on face value. | |
| The judge's daughter in this case being one of the largest Democrat fundraisers in the world. | |
| It's unheard of. | |
| So, you know, good for him for actually saying it. | |
| But I think what the reality is that people across America are seeing it. | |
| They understand what's going on. | |
| The star witness in this case who's testifying as we speak is Michael Cohen, a convicted perjurer. | |
| He literally went to jail for lying to Congress, amongst other things. | |
| He's been recently referred back to the Department of Justice. | |
| Of course, they won't do anything because the Department of Justice is literally working with these prosecutors. | |
| Joe Biden's number three at the Department of Justice moved to New York to work with Alvin Bragg, who had previously turned down this very case. | |
| And then all of a sudden, it's a case. | |
| That DOJ has been referred Michael Cohen for six more counts of perjury, something that should land him in prison for years. | |
| Instead, he gets to be the star witness. | |
| Well, I guess pitching merch and a reality show. | |
| The level of insanity going on here right now is truly unbelievable. | |
| It's unlike anything I think we've ever seen before. | |
| This is banana republic stuff on steroids. | |
| Yeah, can you go deeper into that? | |
| That is Matthew Calangelo, who was number three in the Department of Justice and is now running point. | |
| He was dispatched by Joe Biden and Merrick Garland. | |
| This is not talked about enough. | |
| And by the way, this is such a shoddy case. | |
| They cannot even tell you the crime that Donald Trump is accused of covering up to make this a felony. | |
| But Don, can you riff on that? | |
| Matthew Colangelo. | |
| Well, okay, so in this case that's going on right now, Matthew Colangelo was the Biden number three at the DOJ. | |
| He worked in federal law enforcement, has a shady track record. | |
| Alvin Bragg, the current district attorney down there, as well as Cy Vance, the prior one, both of them decided not to pursue this case. | |
| The other people who did not pursue this very same case, the FEC, the Federal Election Commission. | |
| Okay, these are government Washington, D.C. bureaucrats. | |
| Let's just say not exactly conservative, not exactly Trump fans. | |
| All of those people, again, including the individual who's currently the DA trying this case, decided not to pursue this claim over the last few years. | |
| Joe Biden's the number three guy in his Department of Justice, just like Fannie Willis met with the Biden administration and her lawyers and yada yada yada. | |
| We don't know why. | |
| There should be no reason for it, unless, of course, it's what we're saying, which is it's all a big setup. | |
| Matthew Calangel gets transferred to the southern district of New York, moves up there, and within months, all of a sudden, they're trying the case that not just this district attorney, but the one before him, as well as others, had turned down. | |
| That is not a coincidence, Charlie. | |
| That is a political persecution. | |
| Okay, you have a DA's office. | |
| This guy comes up there. | |
| He's also the guy that gives the opening statement and starts off the trial. | |
| I'm sure it's a coincidence, Charlie. | |
| Like everything else is a coincidence. | |
| Just another conspiracy theory. | |
| The problem is all the conspiracy theories over the last decade have turned out to be 100% accurate. | |
| The media won't talk about it because they refuse to acknowledge the bias. | |
| They're hoping that people are sitting there, you know, just hearing a little bit of noise in the background. | |
| Trump must have done something. | |
| There must be something. | |
| They won't even talk about this bias because they understand how bad it all is, how bad it all sounds. | |
| The American people are starting to get that despite all the noise, despite all the weaponization against him. | |
| They're starting to pay attention. | |
| They've realized the media, you know, so many others, big tech, have lost all their credibility. | |
| They're doing their own research. | |
| They're listening to you. | |
| Perhaps they're watching my show, Trigger. | |
| They're seeing the real news. | |
| They're spreading that information. | |
| We're growing the movement because people don't have anywhere to turn that they can trust in the major conventional places that they used to get their news. | |
| It's all falling apart and it's driving the Democrats absolutely crazy. | |
| I want to play a piece of tape here. | |
| This is from MSNBC. | |
| Despite all this, they say anybody who votes Republican is voting for the end of democracy. | |
| PlayCut 46. | |
| Now, this year, you're not just voting for a Republican. | |
| It's a vote for a candidate who doesn't believe in the most basic principles of American democracy. | |
| And we could get on the list, but I really don't want to waste my breath on it. | |
| No, it's a vote actually for somebody that does not subscribe to the most basic precepts of American democracy against a candidate. | |
| Who does? | |
| Done. | |
| Honestly, man, I got nothing. | |
| At this point, you know, the Democrat projection. | |
| You know, maybe that's Scarborough. | |
| Maybe the Democrats know what he did to his intern, and maybe they have the evidence. | |
| And that's why he's gone so off the deep end. | |
| It is so ridiculous that they would say this. | |
| Again, the projection from the Democrats is just that. | |
| It's typical. | |
| They accuse others of doing what they're doing. | |
| You have this president working with his Department of Justice, literally trying to jail the leader of the opposing party for 900 years, plus possibly the death penalty. | |
| Okay. | |
| Oh, yeah, that's democracy. | |
| It reeks of democracy. | |
| You're not allowed to vote for the prior president, someone that you actually want to vote for, the leader of the opposite. | |
| We're going to make sure they're not even on the ballot. | |
| How many times have they tried to remove him from that ballot? | |
| Yeah, that screams of democracy. | |
| These people are morons, Charlie, and they're hoping that the American public is as dumb as they are because they have nothing else. | |
| They fear Donald Trump because these guys have gotten rich in a system that is only designed to help them and the other people in the swamp. | |
| They want the never-ending wars. | |
| It's clickbait. | |
| It's board seats for the generals. | |
| Everyone in the swamp wins while we're mortgaging our families, our children's future to the hilt to give these idiots, you know, I guess, job security. | |
| It's so asinine. | |
| It's so ludicrous. | |
| They're relying on porn stars and convicted perjurers to be their star witness. | |
| That reeks of democracy. | |
| All these things are, and it's all coming out. | |
| It's just a sham to try to embarrass Donald Trump, to try to hurt his chances later on. | |
| There's nothing as it relates to the cases, just like Stormy Daniels. | |
| What does she have to offer as it relates to literally a documents case? | |
| You know, an accounting error, essentially, is what they're trying to charge. | |
| They've raised that to a felony magically, while all the people who are beating the crap out of people in the streets of Manhattan, those felonies are turned down into misdemeanors. | |
| It's a farce what we're living right now. | |
| It's an absolute farce. | |
| Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here. | |
| What an unbelievable start to 2024. | |
| We had last month saving babies with pre-born by providing ultrasounds. | |
| And we're doing again this year what we did last year. | |
| We're going to stand for life because remaining silent in the face of the most radically pro-death administration is not an option. | |
| As Sir Edmund Burke said, the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing, and we're not going to do nothing. | |
| Your gift to pre-born will give a girl the truth about what's happening in her body so that she can make the right choice. | |
| $280 can save 10 babies. | |
| $28 a month can save a baby a month all year long. | |
| And a $15,000 gift will provide a complete ultrasound machine that will save thousands of babies for years and years to come. | |
| And will also save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret. | |
| Call 833-850-2229. | |
| That's 833-850-2229. | |
| Or click on the pre-born banner at charliekirk.com. | |
| That is charliekirk.com and click on the pre-born banner. | |
| Also, save moms from a lifetime of pain and regret. | |
| I'm a donor of this organization. | |
| They're terrific. | |
| Go to charliekirk.com, click on the pre-born banner. | |
| Don, I want to play this piece of tape here, talking about the broadening coalition of the Trump MAGA movement. | |
| Play cut 28. | |
| That poll from the New York Times, let me read you a section of their write-up there. | |
| It says, Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden are essentially tied among 18 to 29-year-olds and Hispanic voters. | |
| Even though each group gave Mr. Biden more than 60% of their vote in 2020, Mr. Trump also wins more than 20% of black voters, a tally that would be the highest level of black support for any Republican presidential candidate since the enactment of the Civil Rights Act in 1964. | |
| Don, this shows the broadening coalition and our need for a ground game to chase these ballots and get them out to vote. | |
| Your reaction done. | |
| Yeah, 100%. | |
| I mean, people aren't going to believe their lying eyes anymore. | |
| They see it. | |
| They feel it. | |
| You see it in the hip-hop community, the rappers coming back around. | |
| In 2016, 2017, it was easy to go after Trump. | |
| You could hit him. | |
| You'll get a lot of free publicity, and your record label is going to love it. | |
| And Rolling Stone will write up how much of a hero you are. | |
| But right now, those guys understand their base. | |
| They understand their people. | |
| And they understand that those people are hurting financially. | |
| They understand we're sending billions upon billions to defend borders in far off lands while we have an invasion at our own border, which is creating serious issues in terms of our healthcare system, our education system, the fentanyl traffic, the sex trafficking going on in our cities. | |
| And it's just absolutely disgusting. | |
| So people are coming around. | |
| I did a live stream with DJ Academics, I guess, one of the largest guys in sort of the hip-hop world about two weeks ago. | |
| And we had 40,000 people live streamed. | |
| And, you know, at the end of this conversation, it was supposed to be like a half an hour. | |
| We go for two and a half hours. | |
| Everyone's going Trump 2024. | |
| This wasn't a demographic that we're typically going after, but people understand what's happening. | |
| I see it when I go through the airports. | |
| It's not the usual crowd that comes up to me say, hey, we need your father back in here. | |
| This is our last chance. | |
| It's everyone. | |
| I'm getting so much African-American support. | |
| The Hispanic support is through the roof. | |
| It's people that may have otherwise been curious or started a conversation before. | |
| I mean, they're screaming Trump 2024 through open airports. | |
| It's no longer, there's no longer a stigma in those communities to be supportive of Trump. | |
| And I think that's huge. | |
| And yeah, you're right. | |
| We do have to get the ground game, right? | |
| We can have rallies. | |
| It's wonderful to see that. | |
| What we need to do is we need to be out there collecting ballots. | |
| We need to make sure that these people are actually voting. | |
| Support is great, but that's what the Democrats do well. | |
| Whether it's cheating or otherwise, they show up with some sort of a ballot. | |
| We need to be doing it legally, but we need to be going after those ballots, making sure that those people vote for their interests in 2024. | |
| And if they do, we win this thing in a landslide. | |
| You know, it's going to be every single vote matters. | |
| Every single person that has agency matters. | |
| Don, I know you're going to be hitting the road traveling the country. | |
| And it's really amazing. | |
| President Trump, this movement is doing well, despite the fact that he is standing for a show trial right now. | |
| Got lots of questions about the vice presidential selection. | |
| I know you can't speak about any private discussions. | |
| However, publicly, President Trump said, Nikki Haley is not under consideration, but I wish her well. | |
| And you said, thank goodness. | |
| Your thoughts, Don. | |
| Yeah, listen, I think Nikki Haley, that'd be the surest way to make sure that DJT is impeached within about 30 seconds, right? | |
| The entire Senate would go along with it with the exception of JD Vance and Tommy Tumberville, maybe two or three other good Republicans. | |
| I think that would be a disaster. | |
| That would be the establishment dream. | |
| And they would replace him in two seconds. | |
| As it relates to the Veepstakes, I mean, there's a couple of good choices out there. | |
| Obviously, right now, because of all of the show trials, because of what's going on out there, because they're stopping him from being able to be out there, they understand that Trump on the trail is a force to be reckoned with. | |
| It's the exact opposite of Joe Biden. | |
| They want Joe Biden in a basement. | |
| We want Trump on the trail. | |
| They don't want him on the trail, so they're going to keep him tied up in court. | |
| So I think we need someone who is a fighter, someone who can take on the media establishment, not just bow down to their sound bites and acknowledge things are not pushed back. | |
| So, you know, I've been a long and vocal proponent of someone like a JD Vance who can do that, who understands and has the intelligence to not just believe the policy, but to be able to stuff it down the morons in the media's throats and win those arguments. | |
| I think you need someone to be out there on the trail. | |
| So I'd be a proponent of picking someone sooner rather than later, someone who has that ability to come out there. | |
| It's not 2016 anymore. | |
| You don't have to shore up the base with evangelicals or other people, and you need someone who's meeker or softer like a Mike Pence. | |
| I think right now you see what's happening. | |
| You see the attacks. | |
| They're not going to stop. | |
| There is no decency or moral compass from the Democrats. | |
| You need a team of fighters. | |
| So, you know, someone like a JD, I think, would be wonderful. | |
| And I think JD Vance could win us Pennsylvania. | |
| He's very popular in Ohio, and it's right on a border state. | |
| He speaks that language. | |
| And so, I mean, I think JD Vance would be great. | |
| Don, thank you so much. | |
| Check out his show, Triggered on Rumble. | |
| Thanks so much, Don. | |

| Joining us now is Marie Therese Kaiser. | |
| Apologies for any mispronunciation. | |
| Marie, welcome to the program. | |
| You are from Germany and you have quite a story to tell about how you were recently convicted for doing what exactly? | |
| Welcome to the program. | |
| Hello, Sally. | |
| Thanks for having me here. | |
| Thank you. | |
| Tell us about your story, Marie, and tell us about the recent developments that you've been through. | |
| Yeah, I was convicted of sedition. | |
| They told me it was hate speech to ask the questions that I asked in a social media post. | |
| And in Germany, you are not even allowed to make jokes about the government. | |
| They call it delegitimization of the state. | |
| So back in 2021, the mayor of Hamburg, Peter Chencha, he wanted to accept refugees from Afghanistan in an unbureaucratic manner. | |
| So he put the focus on that wording. | |
| And we Germans already learned in 2015 what that means. | |
| So there is no security check, no further personal information. | |
| So basically, it's not clear who is actually immigrating. | |
| And he also said that he wanted to start with 200 people. | |
| But then there were some different numbers, like up to 10,000 people. | |
| And he also claimed that he only wanted to accept the people who have helped the German military in Afghanistan plus their families. | |
| But at this point, it is important to also mention that there were no uniform contracts. | |
| So in some cases, there were not even written contracts at all. | |
| And it was therefore really difficult to prove who had actually helped the military in Afghanistan. | |
| So yeah, I referred to official statistics and the criminal statistics in Germany, they make it really clear. | |
| So there are official crime statistics. | |
| They show clearly that Afghanistan in Germany commits sexual crimes disproportionately. | |
| And when it comes to gang rape, Afghans are the top perpetrators. | |
| So I asked some questions and one of the questions was whether we should have a welcome community or welcome kind of like, yeah, just welcoming people who are rapists. | |
| And I never claimed that all Afghans are rapists, but the risk is certainly increased that there will be rapists among the refugees who are supposed to be admitted here without any examination. | |
| And there have been proven cases like this. | |
| So my intention was to start a debate about it. | |
| And at the time, I was a candidate for the federal election of the AFD party. | |
| And yeah. | |
| Well, first of all, Marie, I want to say your English is excellent. | |
| I know it's not easy to do an interview and not your native tongue. | |
| So I just want to say you're doing wonderful. | |
| Just to make sure I understand, if I said something or if you said something like this in Germany, like Afghan refugees are raping an alarming high number of German-born women, would I be then guilty of sedition in Germany? | |
| Yeah, that could be, maybe. | |
| So They are just changing each word that is coming out of our mouths. | |
| And I'm not the only government critic and politician of the oppositional AFD party who is being persecuted by the state for this. | |
| So there are many cases like mine. | |
| Yeah, so then your case just recently concluded. | |
| I guess I have a very simple question. | |
| Is free speech considered to be a cherished German value? | |
| No, it's not cherished at all. | |
| So they try to stop us speaking the truth even. | |
| And yeah, so there are really many, many cases like mine. | |
| And the government critics are just, yeah, so they should not speak anymore. | |
| Yeah. | |
| And so as a consequence of that, it's again, this is very important because in America, we consider free speech to be very important. | |
| However, there are cases similar to yours in this country. | |
| For example, Douglas Mackey, a young man who is now facing federal prison time for making a meme. | |
| And so it's easy to look at Germany and say, oh my goodness, this is never going to happen here. | |
| You are part of an ascendant political movement in Germany that some people are even saying that they want to eliminate or ban. | |
| It gets almost always smeared by the American or Western press by being something that you are not. | |
| It is AFD. | |
| Tell us about your political movement. | |
| It is now the second most popular political movement in Germany. | |
| What do you stand for? | |
| And what are the main issues that you are building support behind? | |
| So we are a really conservative political party. | |
| And we, for example, don't want the European Union as it is. | |
| So we love Europe as a continent, but we don't want the European Union. | |
| And we criticize on mass migration, for example. | |
| And the alternative for Germany addresses just the important issues that concern many citizens. | |
| And everyone sees the reality on the streets and notices that their own standard of living is getting worse and worse. | |
| And meanwhile, the government tries to hide information on crimes we never had before, mass migration. | |
| They try to make a fool out of their citizens. | |
| And our government distributes money all over the world, but it doesn't really care about its own people. | |
| Yeah, and so I want to just understand the German psyche here, because I think there are some similarities to America. | |
| Why is it that in Germany there is this belief that you must have mass migration? | |
| Do you think, and I'm going to say this delicately, is there an overcompensation from some of the horrors of the 20th century, meaning of how some people believe that Germany might have acted a couple generations ago? | |
| Why is it that Germany is so insistent on leading the charge on mass migration? | |
| So I could probably get convicted for just making this comparison, but yeah, of course, there is. | |
| And Germany wants to help everyone in the world, but they really forget about their own people. | |
| Yeah, no, I don't want you to go to jail, by the way. | |
| So I don't want you, you have to be delicate. | |
| But so let me just, so on your particular case, what kind of prison time are you facing for a speech crime? | |
| So I don't got, I didn't got prison time and I'm pretty glad, but I got a fine. | |
| So I have to pay 6,000 euros and I get a criminal record. | |
| And that's even worse than the fine because yeah, it's not right. | |
| And when we see that rapists just have to pay like 8,000 euros and they are free. | |
| It's just unfair. | |
| So according to recent polls, it shows that 77% of Germans think that they have too many immigrants. | |
| Can you just give us some idea? | |
| Is the native born German population being replaced by a foreign one? | |
| I'm pretty sure that this is a replacement strategy. | |
| So I don't want to say that it's coming from above, the government is really planning to replace us, but in fact, they are doing exactly that. | |
| And we can see it on the streets. | |
| Recently, in the last couple of hours, a story broke that a court rules that AFD can be called a threat to democracy. | |
| You hear that, everybody? | |
| Germany can monitor AFD as a threat to democracy. | |
| Now, that is something that I'm going to play another piece of tape here. | |
| And then I want you to tell us what this means. | |
| This is here in our country. | |
| This is the MSNBC calling Republicans a threat to democracy. | |
| PlayCut 46. | |
| Now, this year, this year, you're not just voting for a Republican. | |
| Who does? | |
| So in your country of Germany, the court just issued a ruling that the government can monitor your activities because you're a threat to democracy. | |
| Tell us about it. | |
| Right. | |
| So there's something like a secret polis and they try to get as much information as possible. | |
| So they have people inside our political party that are like spies and try to get information or even set information. | |
| So they make their own postings on social media. | |
| And after that, they can take this as an evident for saying that we're undemocratic. | |
| And we have elections like the European Union elections this year and also some smaller elections in Germany. | |
| And the AFD party is on the best way, for example, in Turingia, to be the government in the future and to have their own ministers. | |
| And they try to forbid our political party just because they know we are getting more and more dangerous for them. | |
| Yeah, it sounds awfully familiar. | |
| And I just want everyone to understand this is a new blow where Germany, the government can now monitor it as a threat to democracy, according to a court. | |
| Just to reiterate, Germany's domestic intelligence agency can continue to monitor the far-right AFD as suspected case of extremism that represents a potential threat to democracy. | |
| This stuff is worldwide. | |

| Marie, despite all of the government targeting and backlash, does this make you want to fight harder or give up in the face of all this opposition? | |
| Yeah, of course, it's not only exhausting, but also expensive. | |
| But the legal battle is still ongoing. | |
| And my lawyer and I are not giving up easily because I want the world to know what's going on in Germany. | |
| And I don't see it necessarily as my own purpose to tell everyone because I'm innocent. | |
| But for everyone else, everyone who thinks that they cannot speak up and tell what they believe in or what the truth is, even. | |
| That's why I'm really grateful for the invitation and for everyone who reports on my case and spreads the word. | |
| Yeah, so Marie, I find that to be super important. | |
| This is a civilizational struggle. | |
| And just everyone understands, as Germany goes, Europe goes. | |
| There really is no Europe right now without Germany. | |
| I mean, the German economy is the most wealthy, most productive. | |
| It really, and if Germany collapses, that is the collapse of the entire continent. | |
| I just want to make sure I understand, and you don't have to say anything because I understand your speech laws are wild here. | |
| Germany is more worried about a 27-year-old, you know, essentially activist than they are about potential gang rapists. | |
| It's quite amazing to me. | |
| So, Marie, looking at what's happening in America, what is your take on American politics, the similarities, and what are your wishes for what America does in the coming months? | |
| As you well know, we're in an election season right now. | |
| Yes, I've been to New York a couple of weeks ago, and I've also been to Trump Tower and made a lot of photos with the Trump Tower and with everything in this building because I really hope that America is getting Donald Trump as a president again. | |
| I think there are a lot of similarities. | |
| Maybe Germany is just a little like farther back than the USA. | |
| So you had the problems already we are going to have now. | |
| And so, yeah, I hope that the conservatives are going to set the government again in the USA. | |
