| Do you know tomorrow is Election Day in many parts of the country? | |
| Ohio, there is a serious ballot referendum issue. | |
| Kentucky has a governor's race. | |
| It's going to be really tight. | |
| Kentucky is going to be a tough one. | |
| We have also Virginia is the other big one in the Virginia House of Delegates. | |
| In addition, I'm going to go vote tomorrow. | |
| And Scottsdale has one thing on the ballot, a yes or no vote. | |
| You got to show up, everybody. | |
| Small, big, local, you got to show up. | |
| Big test for Yunkin tomorrow. | |
| Big test for the red vest. | |
| Joining us now is Citizen Kane from citizenfreepress.com. | |
| Kane, lots of talk about, can you just give a quick overview, Election Day tomorrow? | |
| We really haven't touched on this nearly enough as we should. | |
| What's going on tomorrow, Election Day across America? | |
| Well, you mentioned Daniel Cameron. | |
| You know, that's a fantastic race and he's a great candidate. | |
| And, you know, let's hope that Kentucky voters come through for us there. | |
| But as you talk about Virginia, it's huge, right? | |
| This is, you know, you and I have talked about early voting for 2024. | |
| And Glenn Young is basically doing a test case for us in Virginia. | |
| He put out videos. | |
| I don't have to tell you this. | |
| He put out videos starting about two months ago about how the Republican Party was finally going to embrace early voting and really push it. | |
| And he's been doing that now almost every weekend. | |
| There have been sort of special events that he's trying to draw people's attention to. | |
| And the numbers are, I posted a link in the stack probably a week, 10 days ago that showed that Republicans made up 30 at this point. | |
| It was 10 days ago, but it was 36% of all early votes versus about 29% in the previous cycle. | |
| So it was the first indication that Yunkin is that he's having some success with this. | |
| But as you said, yes, the entire House and the entire House of Delegates in Virginia and the entire Virginia Senate is up for reelection. | |
| So this is Yunkin's chance to get a, you know, to get a hat trick, to get a clean sweep in Virginia. | |
| And we're going to be covering it, you know, nonstop live tomorrow night. | |
| And it's going to be, it's going to be a test. | |
| I mean, you know this. | |
| It's funny. | |
| I say things to you, but you know all of this as well as anyone. | |
| It's going to be a test of Democrats abortion strategy. | |
| That's basically all they've done in Virginia is try to say that Republicans want to want to take away your right to kill babies. | |
| And I think it's a horrible campaign strategy, but we'll find out tomorrow night if it really works. | |
| So you've got Virginia. | |
| You've got, you mentioned Arizona. | |
| So there's all kinds of small states that, you know, people need to be paying attention. | |
| Wherever you are, look today and find out if there's something that you need to be voting on tomorrow. | |
| And, you know, I'm excited. | |
| I have a good feeling about Virginia. | |
| I went to, I did my undergrad at the University of Virginia, and my very first job. | |
| Yeah, Charlottesville, my very first job was in the Virginia House of Delegates. | |
| I was a legislative assistant for a senator from Alexandria who, you know, as an old school Democrat, it's funny. | |
| She, I don't know that she, she was, she was Jewish. | |
| She was six feet two inches tall. | |
| She was a former NCAA basketball player. | |
| And I don't think she would recognize the Democratic Party these days. | |
| She's passed away at this point. | |
| She passed a few years ago, but I think that she would be incredibly embarrassed by what she sees, you know, what she might have seen yesterday on the streets of D.C. | |
| So big day tomorrow. | |
| Yeah, it's a huge day. | |
| And wherever you are, again, I have one thing. | |
| I have one thing to vote for, Kane, tomorrow, but I'm still showing up. | |
| Okay. | |
| I'm going to get up a little early, go to the polling. | |
| I love voting on game. | |
| I'm a game day guy, but I also want to make sure we're utilizing early voting where possible, especially for next year. | |
| We're going to be doing a whole early balloting, chase the vote. | |
| We've been talking about this, Kane, right? | |
| Turning point action. | |
| So let me ask you, Kane, part of the Yonkin, Virginia story unfolding tomorrow, he's been really pushing early voting. | |
| To the best of your knowledge, do we have any idea of early balloting returns? | |
| Do they publish them in real time in Virginia? | |
| Has that been working? | |
| Your thoughts, Kane. | |
| Yeah, it's so the most recent number, and I've been frantically checking numbers here as I'm on the air with you. | |
| The most recent numbers I can find are that 36% of the early ballots have been returned by voters who are registered as Republicans in Virginia. | |
| And that 36% compares to 28, 29% ballots had been returned in the 2022 because they've had early voting in Virginia for a while. | |
| It's just that Youngin and well, Yunkin wasn't the governor in 2022 and Republicans weren't pushing it. | |
| So it's going to be a real test of that. | |
| And, you know, you mentioned what early voting in 2024. | |
| You know, I'll tip a hat to what Tom, you know, what you guys and TPUSA have done. | |
| You know, no one's doing it. | |
| You made the point perfectly. | |
| You know, the donors to DeSantis, this is going back six months, they're spending $100 million, $150 million on a candidate who has no chance. | |
| What percentage of that money should have gone to help building out a get the, you know, a get out the vote effort for Trump in 2024? | |
| That's the RNC's responsibility. | |
| And it's, you know, Ronna Romney, as I call her, or Ronna McDaniel, has completely sort of abdicated her role there. | |
| And TPUSA picked it up. | |
| You guys were somehow able to get $5 million to the indefatigable never energy who never ends Scott Pressler and what he's trying to do in Wisconsin. | |
| So I feel like, you know, look, hey, let's not get cocky about these New York Times Sienna results in those six swing states. | |
| I agree. | |
| Got to get to work. | |
| Because obviously, yeah, because obviously, you know, Kennedy wasn't in those polls. | |
| Cornell West wasn't in those polls. | |
| And no label, the no labels ticket wasn't in that poll. | |
| So what we need, you know, that's where all the effort needs to go. | |
| It's six states, and the RNC should pick up on this immediately and dedicate $5 to $10 million to get out the vote efforts and early voting efforts in all six of those states. | |
| Because look, as long as those are the rules, let's play by them and let's win. | |
| That's right. | |
| Just win, baby. | |
| Al Davis, you know, the Raiders. | |
| Just win. | |
| So, so, Kane, I want to just reiterate it. | |
| Look, we're going through a huge fundraising blitz now in the year. | |
| Our turning point donors are the best in the country. | |
| These guys are America first. | |
| They're unbelievable. | |
| We have a huge thing coming up about a month at Mar-a-Lago, our big fundraising deal. | |
| We'll see how we do. | |
| We're going to be raising money for Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action. | |
| And, you know, we're an open book. | |
| People know where it's going, right? | |
| Campus Army, ballot chasing, voter reg on the action side has a more political wrinkle to it. | |
| But, Kane, do you think the American grassroots are waking up to the fact that we're going to have to take this one ourselves? | |
| It's not going to be the RC, it's not going to be the Republican establishment. | |
| It's going to take a grassroots army of precinct committeemen, of ballot chasers. | |
| In CFP Nation, what you're seeing at citizenfreepress.com, are you seeing that kind of mindset shift that instead of just watching things from afar and showing up to a rally, we got to go knock on 10 doors a day? | |
| Kane? | |
| Yeah, absolutely. | |
| Yeah, absolutely. | |
| In fact, there are elected election judges and elected or appointed committeemen who post on the site. | |
| And they've been talking about exactly that for close to the last year: that the RNC is simply not showing up and that people have to get involved. | |
| It's a lot more than, as you said, showing up to a rally or going out on game day. | |
| It's, you know, if you're retired, I've got a big boomer audience. | |
| I've got a bunch of retired, you know, thousands, well, not thousands, hundreds of thousands of retired conservative MAGA first voters who read the site. | |
| And yes, you know, it's something that I didn't see as we headed into 2020. | |
| I don't think there was much preparation and much thought given, and that's switched. | |
| And it is going to have to be grassroots. | |
| And I would invite everyone listening, especially people at the RNC, to look into what TPUSA and Charlie have done with Scott Pressler in Wisconsin. | |
| That is the model for how we can win in all of these swing states. | |
| I'm convinced. | |
| We are deploying unprecedented time, energy, resources. | |
| And not only that, you know, we're in the formulation stages of this. | |
| Starting post-Labor Day next fall, I personally, I'm going to go to all these campuses, right? | |
| I'm going to go to UW-Madison and riling up the remnant of right-wingers there. | |
| I'll be doing all three campuses again in Eric. | |
| No, seriously, my whole campus tour is going to be through turning point action next semester. | |
| And we're going to be doing some big things. | |
| And by the way, Kane, the polling shows this, and on the ground, we will lose by less with young people. | |
| We're not going to win young people. | |
| We will lose by less. | |
| It will be far more competitive, maybe even be within 15 to 20 points. | |
| You do that. | |
| You could have Mr. Trump beat President 47. | |
| Strong cell is amazing. | |
| I got to tell you, the combination of NADH, CoQ10, and collagen is really something. | |
| You know, people ask me, they say, Charlie, how do you keep your energy up? | |
| How do you just keep on pushing? | |
| Look, part of it is diet nutrition, but I'll be honest, I take supplements really seriously. | |
| Fact-check me on this. | |
| You can say, oh, Charlie, I'm going to fact-check you. | |
| Type this into your search engine: NADH. | |
| Just type it in. | |
| What does it tell you? | |
| It might tell you that it is the secret to living long, anti-aging properties, more energy. | |
| Well, all of that is being proven in more and more clinical trials. | |
| NADH is a precursor so that your mitochondria can remain healthy and vibrant. | |
| The elites, a lot of billionaires, people, a lot of money, they spend a ton of money on NAD. | |
| It's a fact. | |
| NAD just might be your secret weapon for more energy. | |
| I take NAD every single day. | |
| I could tell you that NADH, compared with CoQ10, the trials show very, very good things on it. | |
| Don't take my word for it. | |
| I mean, honestly, my word should be good for something, but fact-check me. | |
| Look at it. | |
| And if you do it over 30 days, you'll see an increase in energy. | |
| I wake up better than ever before. | |
| NAD can help you potentially, again, fact check me on this with depression, anxiety, other issues that you might be dealing with. | |
| It is nature's gift to you so that you might have extra energy and mental clarity. | |

| Kane continues with us. | |
| So, Kane, what are the big takeaways also from the poll? | |
| Seems like black, Hispanic, and younger voters are defecting from the Democrat Party. | |
| Yeah, isn't that fantastic? | |
| We've been documenting as documenting it as you have for the past couple of months. | |
| I want to say something really quick. | |
| Your listeners couldn't hear me, but when you were talking about going to Madison to find the secret conservatives, the reason I chuckled, you know, Charlie, you're from Evanston, the People's Republic of Evanston. | |
| I'm from the People's Republic of Bloomington. | |
| And then you would, if someone asked us, you know, what's the third most communist college town in the Big Ten? | |
| Everybody would raise their hands and say Madison, Wisconsin. | |
| So it's a fantastic, you know, and look, even though this is, you know, a Marxist Republic where I live, 30% of the voters are still conservative. | |
| And it's the same way, I guarantee in Evanston, and I guarantee it's the same way in Madison. | |
| It's sort of the silent conservative majority or minority in these Marxist college towns. | |
| So that's why I chuckled because I think it's a great effort. | |
| As for getting in the polls, yeah. | |
| So look, Trump pulled in, there were different numbers. | |
| In 2020, Trump was pulling or got votes from, I think it was 12 to 15% of black males and closer to 6% to 8% of black females. | |
| So that was, and those were good numbers. | |
| But these New York Times Sienna numbers are outstanding. | |
| They're talking about 22% overall of the black vote and 42% of the Hispanic vote plan to vote for President Trump. | |
| So that's, you know, you mentioned, hey, if they can get, look, there's so many ways that we can end this. | |
| If he gets 22% of the black vote nationwide, it's over, Charlie. | |
| You and I both know that. | |
| If he gets within 15 points on young people, and that New York Times poll did show a huge shift in young people versus 2020, if he can get that, it's over. | |
| If he can get 30% of the liberal Jews who normally vote Democrat to vote Republican, it's over. | |
| So all of these things are definitely, you know, it's not where we thought we would be six months ago. | |
| Let's put it that way with all these Trump indictments ahead of us. | |
| Instead, Trump has handled the indictments. | |
| His support has gotten stronger. | |
| And now we're seeing all these fissures in the Democrat Party where they're losing black voters. | |
| Black voters, look, a lot of these guys are ladies and ladies and gentlemen are pocketbook voters. | |
| These are people who are living paycheck to paycheck, and they know that the economy was better under Trump. | |
| And I think you're seeing the same thing in the Hispanic community and even more with the Hispanic community, sort of the Republican focus on family and on taking control of the schools and not allowing the grooming that occurs. | |
| So all of these trends, I feel like, are positive for Trump. | |
| Yeah. | |
| So not Pollyanna. | |
| Go ahead. | |
| No, I just want to, you know, the base really well, Kane. | |
| Politico.com and many others saying that Nikki Haley is the one to watch, that there's Haley momentum. | |
| Do you think the conservative base has an appetite for Nikki Haley? | |
| Everyone, by the way, email me, freedom at charliekirk.com. | |
| Your thoughts on Nikki Haley. | |
| Citizen Kane. | |
| No, they laugh at it, Charlie. | |
| It's, I mean, come on, you and I are media guys. | |
| So we watch the attempts, the failed attempts that the media makes. | |
| And it's so obvious when Fox News did a shift from DeSantis to Nikki Haley about three or four weeks ago with a poll. | |
| There's no traction. | |
| It's nothing. | |
| It's not as though Nikki Haley is gaining anything on the MAGA base. | |
| None, none whatsoever. | |
| She might be consolidating a few votes that DeSantis has lost, but that's it. | |
| There's a ceiling on all of those voters. | |
| And it's comical. | |
| We don't, you know, I don't think any MAGA voters take it seriously. | |
| Let's face it, Trump has gotten stronger in the past two months in terms of his support with the MAGA base, not Uyghur. | |
| So it doesn't matter if Nikki Haley goes from 9% to 11 or 9% to 13. | |
| It's not going to make any difference. | |
| As I've been calling for, if any of these people want to save their political futures, they actually need to drop out before Iowa or immediately after Iowa and say that the party needs to unite behind President Trump, that he's our candidate, that he's leading in the polls. | |
| And that's how any, whether it's DeSantis or Nikki Haley or Vivek or any of these people, and Vivek is my favorite of all of them, the non-Trump candidates, but that's how these people, if they want a future in the MAGA, and let's face it, MAGA owns the Republican Party now. | |
| So if they want a future in the Republican Party, they're going to have to realize that Trump is the candidate and they need to get behind him. | |
| That's my view. | |
| CitizenKane, citizenfreepress.com. | |
| Check it out right now, citizenfreepress.com. | |
| Excellent. | |
| Kane, thank you so much. | |
| Loved it. | |
| Thank you. | |

| Joining us now is Caroline Glick, Senior Contributing Editor from the Jewish News Syndicate and host of the Caroline Glick Show. | |
| Caroline, thank you for taking time to come back. | |
| You were excellent recently when you were on our program. | |
| I wanted to have you back. | |
| So, Caroline, this is no longer front page news in America, so it's getting further and further down. | |
| Can you just kind of get our audience up to date? | |
| What is the latest of Israel's operation into Gaza? | |
| Where do things stand? | |
| So, Israel is really, it's this morning, the IDF announced that it had cut Gaza into two, the northern Gaza Strip, where you have the bulk of the Hamas operational complex, their tunnels, their command and control, and their senior terror masters are located in Gaza City in the north and in the surrounding towns. | |
| And so, Israel has, and then the South is more, is a less active terror zone. | |
| And Israel was telling all the people from northern Gaza to transit to southern Gaza to get out of harm's way as much as possible. | |
| And what we've seen in recent days is, and now IDF forces have really encircled the kind of command and control area complex that Hamas runs in Gaza City. | |
| What we found is that Hamas has been executing Gazans that have been trying to flee. | |
| You've seen just a lot of video footage of people being shot and attacked with guns, RPGs, et cetera, women and children as they're trying to leave. | |
| And they're being shot by Hamas terrorists who want them as human shields in the north. | |
| So they've been doing this very publicly in order to try to deter others from leaving so that they can have maximum number of human shields. | |
| So they're continuing to. | |
| Yeah, just I want to reiterate this, Caroline. | |
| So the Hamas terrorists are killing women and children fleeing the conflict zone to try to seek refuge. | |
| This is beyond morally reprehensible. | |
| Well, everything that Hamas does is beyond morally reprehensible. | |
| They're holding 244 Israeli hostages. | |
| Now the number has gone up to 244. | |
| As we make more IDs of the remains of the people who were murdered, you know, they incinerated the bodies. | |
| So a lot of the bodies that we're trying to identify now are basically just ashes. | |
| It's very much like an Auschwitz-like crevatorium, what we're seeing. | |
| They used lighter fuel after they set them on fire to raise the flames and tires. | |
| So we're facing a situation where as each day goes by, we get more information about whose remains aren't here. | |
| We haven't identified all of them. | |
| We have over 120 who are still unaccounted for because we know that there are 840 missed or dead or missing, but of the 840, we've only been able to identify 736 bodies. | |
| So that's that. | |
| And then we have 244 now hostages that we pretty much confirmed are in Gaza. | |
| And also in the north, Hezbollah is escalating their attacks. | |
| They attacked down to the environs of the Mediterranean port town of Haifa this morning for the first time. | |
| So they're extending the range and also the payloads. | |
| We've had some 2,000-pound payloads and some of the missiles that they've been hitting Israel with over the past 48 hours. | |
| And Israeli strikes inside of Lebanon are going a little bit more deep, deeper into Lebanese territory. | |
| So the Northern Front is also getting hotter. | |
| So that's what's going on. | |
| And then the United States is continuing with their sort of demonstrations of power. | |
| They're bringing in an Ohio-class nuclear power submarine into the area. | |
| But again, it's not really clear what the Americans are wanting to do because they've been attacked 38 times by Iranian proxies. | |
| 46 American soldiers have been wounded in attacks on American bases in Iraq and in Syria by Iranian proxies. | |
| And in the meantime, Joe Biden, President Joe Biden, warned Iran and its other proxies not to get involved in the war. | |
| He keeps saying don't, don't, don't. | |
| But in the meantime, Yemen declared war on Israel. | |
| Algeria declared war on Israel. | |
| And we see Hezbollah stepping up, escalating its assaults against Israel from Lebanon. | |
| So it's not clear how powerful the American deterrent messages are for the Iranians and their proxies right now. | |
| So there's 244 hostages. | |
| Is that correct? | |
| Yes, it's correct. | |
| So where in Gaza do we think they're being held? | |
| The southern part or now the encircled more northern part? | |
| I mean, I don't know. | |
| It's possible that they're all over the place. | |
| Last week, the IDF was able to locate and free an IDF private female named Ori Ansbacher, who Ori Magidish, sorry, who was captured on October 7th at her base. | |
| 24 of her fellow soldiers were executed. | |
| One more was seen in Gaza after she'd been raped and she was being pulled out of her car on October 7th. | |
| So there were two soldiers we knew about. | |
| And so one of them, Maury McGiddish, was like, oh, but she was alone. | |
| So I think one of the scenarios is that all of the hostages, the children, the women, the babies, the men are all being held separately. | |
| So we don't really know because, I mean, I don't know. | |
| I hope that our intelligence services and the IDF does, but it certainly that information hasn't been released to the public. | |
| So the IDF is operating very methodical. | |
| And I have lost my patience, Caroline, with some Americans that otherwise I thought were rather rational. | |
| And they do nothing but point fingers at Israel and Israel and Israel. | |
| Look, it's a war. | |
| Bad things happen in war. | |
| But hold on a second. | |
| Who started this war? | |
| This is what drives me nuts: they go in and kill 1,000, is it 400, 500 Jews? | |
| I want to make sure I'm precise. | |
| I mean, we don't know, but it's going to end up being over 1,500. | |
| Right now, they keep saying more than 1,400. | |
| No, but, and this is what is so sick what's going on. | |
| And I do the media thing and the social media thing for a living, is that the moral inversion, as if Israel asked for this, Israel somehow was had this completely ready to go. | |
| They are defending themselves and going after active hostages. | |
| Caroline, can you just give us some insight into what you are seeing on social media on TikTok? | |
| Because the younger people in America are being propagandized in regards to this conflict and this war. | |
| I know. | |
| It's very disturbing. | |
| I actually did a podcast about it or a couple last week because at the beginning of last week, it was reported for the first time this atrocity that happened to a family at one of the kibbutzim in the south. | |
| I don't know how graphic you want me to get it, but it was a mother and a father and their baby. | |
| And the baby, it worked out, was burned alive in their oven. | |
| And so this came out and I reported it on my Twitter page. | |
| I just relayed the information on my Twitter page. | |
| And what I found was that the tweet had been, you know, within a few hours, it became incredibly viral for me. | |
| I'm not, you know, like you. | |
| I have a fairly large following, but it's, you know, it's not meteoric. | |
| But it had been seen, I don't know, two and a half million times. | |
| And I had thousands and thousands of comments. | |
| And what was shocking about the comments and the retweets was that they were by Hamas supporters and they were calling me a liar. | |
| And they were actually developing memes of Carolyn Glick, the liar, that I was putting out this information that was lies. | |
| And I was a Zionazi and I was putting out these lies. | |
| And so, you know, like any normal person, I got a got a little bit worried. | |
| I said, what did is this incorrect? | |
| And so I checked with all the sources and I got this confirmed not only by the government of Israel and the IDF, but even by sources in the Secret Service, in American intelligence, were confirming it as well. | |
| And more than that, and the body retrieval service, Zaka, in Israel, also confirmed it. | |
| And the point, everybody confirmed it. | |
| And moreover, it works out that this wasn't a lone case, that there were several babies that were found with grill marks on their bodies because they were baked. | |
| And so this was a method of sadism that was employed repeatedly by the murderers on October 7th. | |
| So I decided to do, you know, some to bear witness to what happened. | |
| So, I brought in somebody who was a volunteer in our burial society that prepares Jewish bodies for burial. | |
| And she was describing the state of a lot of the corpses that reached the burial service volunteers to prepare for their funerals. | |
| And it was devastating. | |
| It's devastating stuff. | |
| And so, what we're seeing is this incredible denial on the part of Hamas supporters online in the United States, in Europe, that they're denying the atrocities and then they're projecting them onto Israel and saying that Israel was raping its own women, Israel was slaughtering its own babies. | |
| It's all a lie. | |
| Nothing like this happened. | |
| So, in Israel, luckily, the government and the IDF have all taken gloves off treatment of all of these statements, of the incitement, and they're just arresting people and indicting them for incitement to terrorism, providing material support for terrorism. | |

Shattering Western Victim Narratives
00:08:01
|
|
| So, that's what's happening in Israel. | |
| But in America, you see, I mean, you saw what happened at the White House, and you had tens of thousands of people throughout Washington, D.C. marching for Hamas. | |
| Yesterday, there was a vigil for the hostages outside of the White House, and you had pro-Hamas demonstrators who came and tried to block them from holding their vigil. | |
| And of course, you see on social media all of the posters with the hostages' faces on them that have been put up throughout the United States and Europe and are being taken down and very much by young people, by students who have been incited and have been misinformed repeatedly and on a very deep level by their professors. | |
| So, we're seeing that this is a general social phenomenon. | |
| And then it comes up, I'm sure you've seen the polling data that younger Americans support Hamas. | |
| So, it's very, very distressing. | |
| It's not insignificant. | |
| There is an unprecedented amount of foreign influence, unregulated foreign cash, foreign activity, and subsidizing of American social media content that is orchestrated through Gulf states, Iranian proxies, and just outright anti-Western forces, Soros, and the like. | |
| I don't think it's getting nearly enough coverage. | |
| What we're seeing on TikTok is not organic. | |
| It's a synthetic, orchestrated, centralized, planned and plotted campaign to create an Intel-style cultural revolution-type narrative war against the Jewish people and against Israel. | |

| Caroline Glick continues thus, Caroline, I'll repeat this, and then I want to go into some of the numbers on TikTok. | |
| Bothers me the most with the Israeli Hamas issue online is Hamas is the aggressor that now gets to play the role of the victim. | |
| Is that they launched the war, they killed Jews, and tragically it's working. | |
| 3 billion views on TikTok have been viewed in the pro-Palestinian, whatever, pro-Hamas vein. | |
| Only 200 million in a pro-Israel way. | |
| That is the whole ballgame right there. | |
| So, Caroline, talk about that. | |
| And secondly, what is your message then to young Americans, young Westerners that are outspokenly and unapologetically on the side of Hamas? | |
| Look, you know, I mean, the problem is that what these short videos on TikTok and Middle Eastern studies professors, frankly, on university campuses do is they've invented a narrative where they've placed these genocidal Palestinian butchers in the role of the oppressed. | |
| And Israel, which is a law-abiding, freedom-loving, peaceful country that just wants to live and be allowed to be free and be the Jewish state as the oppressor. | |
| And so, you know, in the narrative world where we live, what you find is that once a narrative develops and grows and is indoctrinated into enough people, facts don't matter. | |
| So that, you know, Israel comes with facts about everything from international law and our legal rights and Jewish history and Palestinian, the genocidal nature of Palestinian nationalism, the ties between Palestinians and the Nazis going back to the 1920s and forward throughout the Holocaust and into the present time. | |
| The jihadist nature of the Palestinian war against Israel, which like Razi Hamid, the Hamas spokesman, explained, is annihilationist in character. | |
| They don't want a state. | |
| They just want to annihilate Israel. | |
| That's all they've ever been about. | |
| But we can give those points. | |
| We can make those arguments. | |
| But if you're talking to people, and this is true not only of teenagers on TikTok, but even of the Secretary of State of the United States, Tony Blinken, that if you're talking to people who have already embraced a narrative of oppressed being the Palestinians and the oppressors being Israel, none of this matters. | |
| It doesn't matter that humanitarian aid to Gaza is just resupply to Hamas. | |
| It doesn't matter that they're the ones killing their own civilians. | |
| Israel must be blamed. | |
| Israel must make concessions to Hamas in the middle of war. | |
| Israel is to be blamed. | |
| The front page, the cover of Time magazine this week is devastation in Gaza. | |
| And the clear point they're trying to make is that Israel is committing war crimes, which is just a lie. | |
| But that's the picture that they decided to put on their cover because the Time editors who chose it prefer narrative, which is false, but they don't care, to facts, which are true. | |
| So, I mean, that's the war. | |
| It's the war between truth and a story. | |
| And the story is more preferable for many of these people than truth. | |
| And that's a cultural issue that I'm not sure that even if Israel had the best people explaining it, how can you fix that? | |
| And you're in a deficit because in the West, and I will make a political statement here, that there is a built-in, there's a built-in expectation that everything is through an oppressor-oppressed mindset. | |
| And therefore, they look at who is the oppressor, who is the oppressed in any situation. | |
| No nuance, nothing about, hey, actually, the true oppressor is Hamas, right? | |
| It's like, it's super binary, good versus evil. | |
| It's underlying Western victim narratives that have been used at other domestic political issues here in America that then just get repurposed and reapplied to the Israel-Palestinian issue. | |
| Closing thoughts, Caroline Glick. | |
| Look, I mean, people have to, you know, it goes back to like what Pope Benedict got in trouble for. | |
| He gave this dialogue between a Benedictine monk and an Islamic scholar. | |
| And, you know, it was a question, do you believe in reason? | |
| If Islam rejects reason, we have nothing to talk about. | |
| And, you know, these people throughout the Islamic world went rioting after that statement by Pope Benedict XVI. | |
| But it's true here too, not only in the Islamic world, but in the West. | |
| Are you willing to listen to reason? | |
| Do you care about facts? | |
| Or is everything just a story for you? | |
| Because people have to care about facts if they want to care about the world. | |
| And the facts are in Israel's side. | |
| My goodness, that is so powerful. | |
| Personal story over reason is such a deep point. | |
| Caroline Glick, thank you so much. | |
