I'm Alex Marlowe, editor-in-chief of Breitbart News, and I'm in for Charlie yet again.
And on this episode, we speak to Drew Hernandez live from Yuma, Arizona on one of the broadcasts on yesterday's show.
We spoke to Savannah Hernandez from a checkpoint in an actual point of entry in Texas.
We're getting another element of the border crisis in this episode with Drew Hernandez from Turning Points Frontlines live from Yuma, but he's not at a checkpoint.
He's one of those in-between areas where you're seeing the real gnarly stuff that goes down as part of this illegal alien massive migration cycle that we're in.
Contrasting those is really important, and Drew always gives a hard-hitting report.
Then we do a huge news roundup covering the 2024 presidential race, which is taking shape, some surprises that just broke, and the insidious nature of the trans panic is somehow getting worse despite the best efforts by folks like Charlie and me and others.
And the powers that be, just encouraging massive consumer culture to make us all much, much fatter.
Yes, fatter.

One thing that's going on in the CNN newsroom is their leadership is under fire after the disastrous Trump Town Hall.
It's noteworthy because they pulled huge ratings and they were the center of a conversation, which if one thing you've learned from President Trump is that he's clearly of the mind that all press is good press.
And if you embrace that, then wasn't this all good press for CNN?
Well, apparently not.
It seems like because all of the wokesters within their newsroom and many without outside of the newsroom were acting as though this was a horrible thing for a news network to platform Donald Trump, who got to say whatever he wanted for the most part.
And there was very little defense CNN could put up other than to fact check in real time, which went very poorly both during the town hall and afterwards.
And what is left of CNN's audience, I don't know what that is.
I mean, CNN's audience just who watches.
Is it just people in airports, I guess?
But they're not happy.
And we'll see where this goes.
But CNN seems to be doubling down.
They're going to give Caitlin Collins the Don Lamoan slot at 9 p.m.
So we can expect more of this from the future, I think.
It is noteworthy that people, and I don't need to play it, but people have been sharing this clip of Caitlin Collins when she's the daily caller dunking on George Soros for wanting to keep the borders open.
And that irks the left, too.
So this is really sort of a 360 lose for CNN.
The right, of course, is not happy with CNN because, you know, Trump calls her a nasty person in the context of her not letting him finish or that she could just get in her two cents, that she disagrees with whatever opinion Trump gives.
But then the left is not happy either because she used to work for Tucker Carlson at the Daily Caller and used to write up stories about how Soros is not a good guy and wants to keep the borders open.
So all of this is delightful.
There was one point that she made, though, that I did want to come back to, that the Trump, she said that Trump never ordered the National Guard or she had claimed that then President Trump never ordered the National Guard to the Capitol during January the 6th.
And this is highly misleading.
And it's worth pointing this out because not many people are going to bother to cover this, but we did a big story on this with Joel Pollock at Breitbart.com, where he wrote this up.
Trump offered the National Guard up, and this was very clear.
And Collins didn't have her fact straight on this.
She was attempting to try to fact-check Trump in real time.
And she began asking about how he didn't do enough to send the National Guard.
But Trump said crazy Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of Washington were in charge, and they did not do their jobs.
Collins said Trump was in charge, but he offered up the National Guard to them, which they denied.
And this happened at the this is probably ringing a bell for many of you because this certainly happened at the time.
At the time, this was 100% in the news cycle.
This was well known that Trump was saying, we'll give you the resources you need, but Pelosi and others didn't want it.
And why didn't they want it?
Maybe because what they were witnessing play out, they saw the political benefit of it.
Maybe they were getting some intel on the ground that things weren't quite as bad as the media was making it out to be.
As we saw case in point, we saw case in point the fact that the unearthed footage, some of what we got of the latest January the 6th footage, really did show some of those Capitol guards seeming to give tours of the Capitol.
Now, I'm not saying that wasn't literally what they were doing.
For those of you in the Soros-funded freaks realm of the audience, but you saw Jacob Chansley, the QNAN shaman, the guy with the Viking horns and the beaver pelt.
He was essentially being led around.
The one person who was killed was Ashley Babbitt by an officer.
This is not someone who, this is not a scenario that comports with the media's portrayal of it.
And this is yet another example.
And it was good for Trump to get it in there and bat on CNN for this bogus fact check.
And recall that the fact checks for CNN, they're almost always nearly 100% always in one direction, and that is to make Trump seem like a bad guy.

Why don't we throw it to Drew?
Drew, great to talk to you.

I'm always impressed with Drew's work.
I always love talking to him.
Drew, I want to keep you for a little bit, but give me a 360 overview of what you're seeing down there.
Yeah, Alex.
So last night we are here down at the formerly known southern border, the open border, Yuma, Arizona sector, where it is absolutely open.
Title 42 did expire last night, 9 p.m. local time.
And we already saw individuals, illegals, okay, invading and rushing the southern border.
We have the footage if you guys want to queue it over if it isn't already, but these individuals are being staged in the Mexico side and by the hundreds.
Now, here's the interesting thing about Yuma, Alex, is normally you see this kind of stuff happening between 3 a.m., 6 a.m., sometimes even, you know, around 2 a.m.
But they started last night when Title 42 expired right on the dot, right at 9 p.m.
These individuals began coming right over.
And it's interesting because last night, Secretary DHS Secretary Mayorkas was coming out and claiming that, oh, individuals are going to be turned away.
And if you come not in the proper way, then you're not going to be able to come into the United States.
That's not necessarily true because what you're seeing here, this is not an official point of entry.
This is just an absolute open point at this formerly known southern border in Yuma.
And these people are continuing.
I talked to some of the Border Patrol agents because I wanted to confirm.
I said, hey, just be honest with me, man.
Are you guys deporting these people?
And this is hundreds, Alex.
These are by the hundreds every 30 minutes.
No exaggeration.
Hundreds every 30 minutes, like clockwork, right?
Looks like a line at Disneyland or something like that.
It's ridiculous.
And I asked him, I said, sir, are these individuals getting deported like Maorca said?
He said, no.
I said, so it's just another night for you guys.
Just another night.
And he said, absolutely, nothing's really changed.
So that's what we're continuing to see.
It's nothing but propaganda you see in the media coming from the federal government.
It's nothing but continual lies to make it look like all is well.
But at least I could speak on behalf of what was taking place last night when Title 42 expired, Yuma, Arizona.
The border, I can report, is still open.
So do you find that what you're seeing is people coming more towards the points of entry, or are still many people trying to sneak in towards points that are not points of entry?
Because it feels like the signal the government is sending is that you come to a point of entry, you're getting to a notice to appear sometime in 2027, maybe 2030.
You may as well just take your chances and just get that and then just start living your life, take a bus somewhere to America.
Or are you finding people are trying to really just kind of scoot across the Rio Grande and not where you are in Yuma, but I mean, figuratively speaking, just kind of get in and figure things out as you go.
That's absolutely correct.
That's exactly what's taking place.
These are not points of entry.
These are just open parts that the cartels have facilitated and showed the illegals how they can get across.
And then obviously we all know this by now, the Border Patrol are essentially a legalized human trafficking Uber service for these individuals.
And they just stand in line and they wait because they know the Americans are going to let them straight into the country.
You know, specifically, Alex, to answer your question a little more, add a little more nuance to it, I asked Border Patrol and I said, okay, NTAs, notice to appear in court, right?
That's what these individuals are receiving, not getting deported.
He said, yeah, about 90%.
And I'm talking about hundreds every 30 minutes.
He said, the majority of these individuals, they're receiving NTAs.
90% of them are.
I said, well, how many are actually going to abide by that, regardless of what the timeframe is, whether it's appear in court 10 days or 10 years from now?
He said less than 10%.
And he said that just absolutely numb to the core.
These people are being demoralized, the Southern Border Agents.
That's what's happening in the United States.
So the lies that the Feds put out, it's nothing but propaganda.
Because when you go down and you actually take a look at this for yourself, it is the complete opposite.
I went down to the border and did a big tour there a couple of years ago, trying to go both to points of entry and to some of these places where there was a lot of entry from people who were not going to go through the system, who were just your standard run-of-the-mill illegal aliens trying to sneak in.
And to talk to the Border Patrol, to talk to law enforcement there, it was really one of some of the most heartbreaking things because when our border policies lax, their lives get much worse.
Their families' lives get much worse.
And they're not discussed here.
And most of them are too classy to say anything.
Some of them will talk to some of us, like you and some of our oppors at Breitbart on background.
But I want to hear, because you're down there, what you're hearing, what people are telling you.
You mentioned they're demoralized, but I'm going to ask you to put some color on that.
Plus, give me more detail on what you're seeing down at the border.

We're talking about the families.
We're talking about the communities, the people who are at the border.
Now, we spoke to JD Vance in the last hour talking about how really every community is a border community in some ways.
But I want to be literal here.
This is when you have an open border and the government is sending a signal that if you're an economic migrant, then you can come here and we'll basically welcome you in, at least for a period of a few years.
What does this do to the communities and particularly the families of law enforcement who are down there?
Well, the communities, especially the border towns, but like I think that's an accurate assessment.
These individuals are being spread throughout the United States of America.
Everything you see for viewers at home, everything you see with makeshift, you know, illegal camps with these individuals that are just making homeless shelters and camps down there in these border towns, that is all getting dispersed and deployed into the United States of America, not by the thousands, not by the tens of thousands.
This is in the millions of individuals because this is happening.
Like I said, I'm not exaggerating.
Every 30 minutes, hundreds of these people are coming.
A lot of violence and crime is going to rise.
Okay, the rise in fentanyl and drugs is going to rise.
You're going to see law and order continue to get dismantled.
If law and order doesn't exist to uphold and secure this country, why would law and order exist when they're actually in states or cities?
These people will be protected.
These people will be invincible.
You will not be able to speak out against them.
They'll protect them over you because this is about dismantling the American citizen.
This is about dismantling American sovereignty.
This is more than just a border crisis.
This is a strategically planned crisis.
The UN is involved in all of this with all these NGOs.
The UN helps these people and facilitates these people.
How do these people that have the education of a first grader navigate throughout the entire world from these foreign third world countries to the United States?
We've seen reporters on the ground.
I've seen this as well with documents from the United Nations, these NGOs that help these people get to the United States illegally.
We've seen yesterday viral footage go out.
They're getting government-issued cell phones.
I mean, all of this is happening by design.
The UN put out a report, Alex.
They put out a report in the year 2000, and the report was, there's replacement migration.
This was the question.
This is how they titled the report.
Does replacement migration fix a depopulating nation or an aging nation?
And they said by the year 2050, this is their quote, the United Nations, these globalists, by the year 2050, all the so-called immigrants and immigration from 1995, all of those people to 2050 will be the large population of the United States of America.
So you begin to ask yourself and put all the pieces together, why is this happening?
Is it just some kind of crisis that's out of control?
No, this is a controlled demolition of American sovereignty, and you're watching it in real time.
And who are the main beneficiaries?
It's the cartels.
The cartels are the ones who are orchestrating this whole thing.
They're the ones who are getting rich.
They're the ones who are treating these people as if they're in indentured servitude.
And this is completely fine with Alejandro Mayorkas.
We opened the show today playing clips of him saying that we need to keep the border open, so to speak, because there are all these people who need money.
They need to be able to send money back to their countries and to feed their families as if that's our responsibility as American citizens.
This is not a responsibility.
We need lots of humanitarian aid.
We're free to give a lot of charity.
We are free to start businesses elsewhere.
But it's not our charge to use taxpayer dollars to be able to process, house, tolerate all of this illegal immigration, all its downstream effects, only for them to take the money from our economy and to send it back home.
But this is the logic of the current regime.
Absolutely, because it's about dismantling American sovereignty.
It's the same thing they're doing with Ukraine, Alex.
You and I both know this.
Just send tens of billions of dollars to Ukraine while America gets destabilized and falls and turns into a third world country because it's a virtue signal.
We have to save the world.
We have to nation build.
We just have to run around and make sure we're saving everyone on planet Earth.
It's not possible.
Only God can save humanity.
We can't.
America can only do so much with the wealth that we have.
We are a superpower.
But America's enemies know, and this is why they hate her.
We are a superpower and they're dismantling us from within.
And I'll tell you, that's a good point, Alex.
The ones that benefit are these cartels, these evil individuals that rape little girls, rape little boys before they even get to the United States southern border on their journey.
Doesn't want to talk about it, but even though they know this stuff happens, they still incentivize it and they still encourage these people to do this because they try to virtue signal and say, well, you know, Orange Man is gone.
Now's the time.
We love you.
We're an open and free country and, you know, we're tolerant and we just want everyone to come here.
Yeah.
At the expense of little girls and little boys being molested and raped and abducted on their journey.
AOC never talks about that.
The federal government never talks about that.
President Joe Biden never talks about that.
Vice President Kamala Harris never talks about it.

Why is there such a race to consume?
We're just constantly consuming everything, especially when it comes to food.
And instead of reining in the corporations by suggesting, well, maybe you shouldn't be eating so much and you should walk a little bit more.
Maybe you should not be sitting on your phone consuming content as much, maybe you should get out there and start moving your body around.
It's good for you.
Then instead, nope, let's make a protected class of entirely unhealthy people who are going to be drains in the system.
But the joke is on them because it's going to make them incredibly unhealthy.
And I don't mean to say this from a high and mighty perspective.
We all have our struggles.
I say it purely as a way to try to help people because this does not help.
Telling you you are healthy when you're not, telling you you are beautiful when you are not is not actually a help.
It's a lie.
And it's something that's very nefarious in our society.
Joe Manchin is flirting with Iowa and Iowa voters.
Now, I do think Joe Manchin could get in perhaps as a third party.
He couldn't beat Joe Biden, I don't think, in a primary on the Democrat side.
Obviously, he's not a Republican.
So I'm just trying to figure out what his thinking is exactly, trying to, and if this is a serious thing, maybe this is a time where a third party could potentially work, though we haven't had, when was the last time with a third party actually viable?
I can't even remember.
But it is one where the standard bearers for both sides of the political divide, Republican, Democrat, Biden and Trump, neither of them are particularly popular.
So this leads to think, well, maybe someone could come in and shake things up from a third party standpoint, but it also assumes the media would allow for it to happen.
We have a very compelling semi-third party candidate right now with Robert Kennedy Jr., but he's not going to get platformed by the establishment media.
The establishment media does not want to talk to him because his ideas would be a threat to Joe Biden.
And that's what's interesting because if they thought he was a threat to Trump, even though he shares a lot of viewpoints of, I think, Trump's base, then I think they would platform him, but they don't.
They think he's a threat to Biden.
And he's running as a Democrat, so that makes sense.
But what's Manchin's move here?
I don't think he's got a chance for one specific reason because he was the key deciding factor in Joe Biden's Inflation Reduction Act.
Of all the ridiculous things Biden has passed, of all the destructive things he's done, and he's done so many, it's hard to count.
The one that still is the most unfathomable is that he actually passed a gigantic bill called the Inflation Reduction Act, which increased inflation.
I have no idea why that's legal, why that's allowed.
I don't know how you would make that impeachable, but it certainly sounds like it's impeachable, at least in my brain.
And Manchin was the guy.
Manchin was the guy who got that across the finish line.
So I don't see how he actually runs a viable race, considering that that just makes him another Democrat.
Maybe every once in a while he'll vote on something that is more moderate.
But if you're going to be on that side of the legislation, I don't see how you're really that distinguishable from Joe Biden.
Maybe a little bit better, but pretty marginal.
But that said, I'll definitely invite him on my show on Sirius XM, Breitbart News Daily, and we'll try to interview him at Breitbart, try to get his take on it.
But that vote and Joe Biden smugly shaking Manchin's hand.
Didn't like that one, not at all.
And I will say, Manchin does make himself somewhat available to conservative media relative to everyone else.
So I will say, I'm keeping an eye on the 2024 race because I'm still wondering why Ron DeSantis isn't in.
He's not in yet, as far as we know.
And he, though it seems like he's certainly making moves, it is the donors want him to jump in, but it seems like he's losing momentum at a rapid rate and he's not making a lot of good decisions.
I mentioned on yesterday's show, my interview with Charlie, which is first hour, those of you who get the podcast, when I interviewed Charlie on his own show, a semi-surreal moment.
It is a point where he seems like he's got to paint or get off the ladder, for lack of a better expression, but I don't know if he's got the team behind him.
Because when Trump dominated the CNN Town Hall, the only group of people, the only faction of people who said Trump didn't dominate, and this includes all the Trump haters, was Ron DeSantis' crowd.
It looks like Tim Scott's going to get in.
This seems to be totally confirmed that Tim Scott's about to get in.
And then it looks like Mike Pence is going to get in.
Now, who does that benefit?
Who does Mike Pence, I think, is a good man and I think could be a good candidate in a different year.
Tim Scott's obviously got a super compelling narrative.
But do these people have a chance to overcome Trump, who's now polling sometimes as high as 60%?
I don't think so.
But I still tell you what they might do.
They might pull some of the anti-Trump vote away from DeSantis, who has become the default anti-Trump candidate, and make it so that that is more split.
So it could be a scenario where you could see a primary playout.
Trump might even like this.
So if Scott gets in, Haley's already in, Vivek's in.
Now a scenario where we've got Donald Trump getting a scenario where he could be basically doing like job interviews during the debate for cabinet posts.
If my theory is true, that a Pence candidacy, a Tim Scott candidacy, along with a Vivek candidacy, all that's going to do is pull people away from the never Trump faction, which is maybe half of the party, whatever it is, maybe 40%.
And that's going to be divided all the way up amongst those candidates.
I wouldn't hate it in the sense that it could really get us to flesh out some of these ideas in a relatively low stakes, high-profile environment.
But as of now, Trump's running away with it.
And the more candidates you enter, the weaker DeSantis position is.
And why he didn't declare five months ago, I know there was that rule in Florida.
I don't get it, but I think this was catastrophic politically, not a smart move.
I was over at Citizens Free Press and they just posted a pretty unbelievable link to black leaders holding a protest in Chicago against illegal aliens.
This is exactly the type of talk radio talking point I will bring up, but it is nice to hear it from the actual people who are most harmed by illegal immigration.
Let's play 152.
Politically, having over 500 people in our community would completely wipe out any interest we have.
Are you aware that there are immigrant advocates at state houses all over this country who are advocating for non-citizen voting in local elections?
That would change the mindset of what we as a black community need to thrive here in Chicago.
This is an effort to destroy our neighborhoods and silence our voices even further.
Yes, that's right.
And it does water down every time you have new people who are not a part of the community and who have not assimilated to our lifestyle.
You give them the vote and you give them certain rights and you treat them as if they're citizens when they're not citizens, they're mere residents and they're not even really residents necessarily all the time.
They're kind of visitors trying to make some money.
Then what that does, it waters down what it means to be a citizen.
And in a lot of these communities that are close-knit, they're going to feel that the most, the hardest because they're the ones who are going to be more experimenting with the non-citizen voting, et cetera.
So this is the sort of thing where you'll hear people like me say this, is that the people who get hardest hit by illegal immigration is not necessarily middle-class white guys.
A lot of the time, it is people in the black community, other people who are in lower income neighborhoods.
They might be the ones who are seeing their rents go up and seeing competition driving down their wages first.
And this is a fundamental thing.

Okay, let's play it.
While this crisis may constitute an emergency for the city of Chicago, it does not constitute an emergency for the South Shore community.
Incoming migrants have overwhelmed district police stations by the hundreds, but city leaders could barely eke out a word of the details about a proposed respite center at the former South Shore High School.
When it comes to the total number of people at South Shore at any given point in time, it is fluid.
We'd start with 250, 500.
How could you do that without consulting us?
I am concerned with safety in the area.
One other thing is that when people come to the United States and they are now in our communities, if you don't put them into the school system, then what are they going to do all day?
The idle hands makes for the devil's work.
So that is the, that's a formula for disaster.
So what do you do?
You have to put them in the school system.
Do you know how difficult it is to educate people in already struggling, if not failing public schools, to now have people who don't speak English, don't know any of the customs, and might not, it's hard to even assess how educated they are when they're here.
And now a bunch of those are put into your communities and families who are already struggling are already losing ground financially due to the Biden inflation.
And not to mention some of their horrific Democrat leadership in virtually every major city in the country.
All of these families are on edge.
And now you're responsible for all these new people because Alejandro Mayorkas and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and the people who are the puppet masters in the Democrat Party believe that it is the right thing for this country to keep our border open and to broadcast it to the rest of the world, particularly the third world.
This is a disgrace.
But I will tell you, the main solution, the number one solution is people have to vote differently.
And if anyone are in any of these communities who are hitting or feeling the effects of illegal aliens the hardest, then I would recommend that you perhaps consider you change who you vote for and you don't necessarily continue to vote for the same people who will never address these issues until it's too late.
I'm fearful that this is what's happening in this country now.
And that's why the 2024 election is so big.
And that's why it's so important for all of you in the audience to do what you can to try to get involved at your local level.
I don't care what it is.
Maybe it's running for school board or your HOA even, or maybe you have designs on running for higher office.
Now is time not to be fearful.
Now is the time to stand up.
The country is at risk.
It is under grave threat.
And it is under grave threat from the people who are in charge right now.
